As Aurelia walked through the ornately decorated hallways of the senate building, she could almost taste the tension in the air. Though the peace accords had been ratified by the Triumvirs, the task now was analyzing what damage had been done, and to plot a course for the future. The preliminary reports were not good. Thousands, if not millions of people had died, the economy was an unstable mess, and worst of all, there was a split in the military, with some unwilling to accept the treaty. The instabilities seen here were comparable to those seen towards the end of the Galactic Republic, and this troubled her. The First Order would not be so tolerant of the history of Serenno, and would seek to nationalize the vast fortunes of the nobles. Turning into an office, Aurelia noticed fellow senator Mee Deechi of Umbara lost in thought. She knew that the botched attempt at reviving the Confederacy of Independent Systems had been supported by Mee, and he was not pleased with the failure of the Harch, Gulch. Sitting down across from him, she activated the holotable, displaying the economic statistics of the Alliance.

With the advent of a new peace setting over the galaxy, Aderon felt it was time that he take up some different pursuits. Knowing the beauty of Serenno, he had grand plans for the expansion of the planet. Though he had once coveted Galactic dominance, he instead decided on a much different sort of enterprise. Though his droid foundries were providing a stable income, Aderon felt that their presence tarnished the reputation Serenno had. With the mere funds possessed by the Counts, it would be simple enough to sustain the planet for millenia to come. Looking at certain cities, he had decided to take on the role of a more elusive sort of system. All the infrastructure was in place, with some cities already completely prepared for this sort of enterprise. With the last of the droid army buried underground, not to be touched unless the need well and truly arose, a new set of security forces had been created. This new group was built off the old one, the Serenno Defense Forces, now renamed the Serenno Guard. With new objectives, they were now similar to ESPO’s, with orders to quash any disorder. Armed with different weaponry, they would focus on the removal of pirates and other scum, along with keeping in line of the thousands of clones being imported. Cloned from the DNA of certain laborers deemed the most efficient, they would serve as the backbone of the labor force needed to maintain the dozens of racetracks, casinos, resorts, high rises, and theme parks being created. With citizenship being granted only to those who could afford it, the planet was soon filled with the wealthy and established. Yachts, pleasure craft, aquatic luxury vehicles, flashy speeders, and the sound of glasses tinkling would soon fill the planet as those who came from the rich would come to enjoy the planet’s beauty, amenities, etc. With free spending came the sort of opulence seen almost nowhere in the galaxy. A shining planet in the midst of chaos.

Aderon has anticipated this. It was why he brought her through the Historica wing of the palace; it was full of historical artifacts, dating all the way back to the days of the Great Hyperspace War. Swords, armor, crystals, mosaics. There was enough here to fill a museum. He let her admire the beauty of the artifacts and the stories of glory that were attatched to them. After a few minutes, he turned to her.
“Perhaps after dinner you would like to visit the Great Library. It is truly worth seeing, and you might find some things that appeal to you.”

She follows. Standash makes not of everything she sees. All of the art and the architecture tell her about the Count and his people. It looks like a lot of this structure was recently updated. You have done a marvelous job. My time on Coruscant, I missed this the most. visiting places and seeing what people can do, I truely love it. “This is for you, Princess Thul.” |

Today an enormous spectacle had been arranged by the Counts in an effort to try and impress any Galactic Alliance members on the planet. Fighters and droids had been lined up. A large crowd had gathered to observe the spectacle. The commander dropped his hand and the ceremony began. A group of three starfighters shot over the square in front of the Assembly House, and the ceremony commenced. Members of the Serenno Legion began marching down the square, with the Starfighter trios still shooting over the architecture that could rival the galactic city. Seeing as it was night time, for increased effect of the spectacle, massive lights were beamed down from the buildings. As this happened, there were fireworks in the sky, taking the shapes of the major houses.

Well it makes sense in theory, but it starts getting dicy for Separatist ships (important to you and I). Remember they had carrying of some number of starfighters depending on the ship, but you could hang a crap ton of them on the outside of the ship.

Where I come from, Diner is a place to discuss things. Especially, between people who value time. Standash looks down at her datapad. Information on the planet scrolls across the screen. Most of it public record, few realized all the information that was publicly accessible when someone knew where to look. It didn't even take haking and violating trust. The guards and crew she left on the ship all had jobs to do. The guards, as military experts were analyzing everything military, troop size fleet capabilities, and manufacturing. The beauty of a system of droids meant that all of this information had to exist in a somewhat open system. The number of signals was something that could easily be found. They would never know what was being sent, but it was no trouble in finding the packets with the most recipients and extrapolate force sized from that. The rest, Standash's aids were taking care of. She had economics experts, agricultural people, university planners, and mining experts. She was getting up to date information as she met with the Count. Alderaan existed as a pacifist planet and had thrived because they were good at finding information and good at using it. I do look forward to sampling your cuisine. It has been too long since I have anything truly authentic. Coruscant has everything, but none of it real. Indeed. Time is a valuable resource, and not one to be spent freely. Aderon gestured to one of the massive arched doorways, the stone orange and red from the setting sun.“If you would follow me, I will take you to the dining room. Dinner has already been prepared.” |

Aboard one of the Munificent-Class Frigates in the planet’s orbit sat a tactical droid. This droid was not here to oversee the invasion, rather, his ship was being used as a communications center in case anything important came through. After noticing the incoming transmission, he spoke with Jashin.
I will connect you with the Head of State. He has the final say in such matters.
He pressed a few buttons, and then Jashin was put on with the Count, who was sitting in his offices.
“This is Head of State Dooku. After looking through your message, I have decided to accept your offer for a trade and alliance. As far as plundering our ships go, I admire your courage and resolve to survive, but I have my doubts you will be able to defeat our supply convoys.”
