Penny had been mentally preparing herself what she expected to happen. The first time the thugs had gone after her, she had been a young girl. But she had been through a lot since then. Many of her customers had paid to do such a scenario with her. The only difference, was that these thugs had not paid money. However, just when she expected it all to happen. It didn't. She turned her head to see Clem save her once more. His expert use of the force was not a complete surprise to her. After all, it was rare for someone to wield a lightsaber and not be a force user.
She took his hand when at last he finished scaring the thugs off once more. As he helped her to her feet, she gave an affirmative nod to his question. It didn't take long after that, for Clem to revert to his usual self. And by that, she meant that he turned around no knocked himself out on Brick. She let out a squeak in surprise. Perhaps in a slightly less scary situation she might have laughed it off. Remaking on how clumsy he was. But that was not the case. At the very least, maybe being hit by Brick might help spark some memories. Sure, the Herglic wasn't a physical brick, but who knew. As Z'har introduced himself, she gave a slight nod in return "Penny... Penny Farthing" She then moved to Bricks side, to stay close to Clem, even if he was unconscious

There was a low rumble from deep in Brick's chest. It almost sounded like a bubbling growl, but in truth it was what passed fro quiet laughter in the species.
-Brick Tenei tetahi he aukume i roto i ona tarau.
Z'har's only reply was an amused snort. Within a few minutes, he had managed to lead the assorted group to the ship. From the looks of things, cargo unloading had finished up. He was not sure if they would be taking on more, but he thought it was likely. With the group in tow, Z'har set out to make sure the jawa had returned safely.

It would be safe to say Clem was used to this feeling... the feeling of not feeling, being once again unconscious. Unknowingly draped over Brick's shoulder and being carted back to the ship. Sounds and conversation washed through the fog enveloping his mind. As the odd group made its way back to the ship the waves of Mon Calamari grew louder in his ears, mixing with the sounds of the spaceport. In his mind his eyes opened, and he saw a blurry image. Examining this mental scene before him he could recognize the interior of a crashed escape pod, and some lettering in the distance. He tried to focus on the lettering as the image faded back out trying to sound them out as it faded out completely.
New... buy... yas... ace... He barely more than muttered the few words before becoming silent once more, It would be unlikely that anyone more than a couple of feet from his head would have been able to hear it.

Penny had remained as close as possible to Clem the whole way back to the ship, and seated herself next to the head of his bed when Brick set him down. Clem started talking in his head, causing her to lean closer a little to better hear his rambling. It was almost incoherent what he said, but she managed to catch the words. Not that it made any sense to her. Perhaps Clem was remembering something. Or perhaps he was just mumbling what ever came to his damaged brain. Perhaps when he awoke she could ask him about it
Han had seen the return of Z'har, along with a large Herglic carrying Clem over his shoulder, and the stripper that had been with Clem back at The Cave from a security screen. His earlier hope that they would not be bringing trouble back with them was quickly crushed. Sure, it was entirely possible that both were here without any attachments. But he highly doubted that, especially with the scene that had been caused back at The Cave. He turned back to the local crew loading the cargo and ushered them to hurry up. BB-Awesome meanwhile remained at his side, waiting for Z'har to find them
Obadiah and his team finally arrived to The Cave. Emergency services were carting injured patrons out of the building to take them to local hospitals. Others were transporting those that had been killed to the nearest morgue. As he pushed his way through the front club, he took note of the team stabilising the man he knew as Mace Fury. He looked to be short a couple limbs, but otherwise he appeared to be alive. He arrived to the back area then, where the local crew that had captured Han were examining the security footage "Where is he?!" The team all froze as they heard his voice. The leader turned around then "He's... he's gone boss-man. The little homey put together some ball droid and managed to hack the door..." "Show me!" The leader didn't pause as he quickly turned around and played the sped up footage for Obadiah. And sure enough, there was Han putting together that droid "He made it! from a box of scraps... IN THE CAVE?!" Obadiah turned around then and stormed off, his security team following him

Within a few moment, Z'har spotted the jawa, along with a new droid. There were all gathered in one mini hanger again. Once Brick had set Clem down on a cot in the corner, Z'har got to work. Three injections later & Z'har was certain that the man would wake up shortly. With the biomass loss from his artificial limbs, he would be wired like four cups of strong coffee for a few hours, but he would be awake & aware enough for first round introductions.

Victor was somewhat relieved that his response had satisfied the Duro. It was a rather strange situation, he supposed, to have to try and explain to someone new. The shuttle came to a stop, as they arrived to the interior structure that served as the Alliance Command Center "Well, I suppose that depends upon how up to date you are..." Victor lead the way off the shuttle and into the building. He chose the quickest route through the many hallways to the central room "...but Jabiim has fallen to the First Order. They are currently moving forces for various offensives. We struck a blow against the Bilbringi Shipyards, taking out one of the shipyard rings there. The team that returned brought us three of the First Orders newest TIE fighters. And we're currently planning a move on Taris, to make a push into First Order held space..." The doors opened then, allowing the party into the large room where the last of the works had been completed. Computer stations were everywhere, with a large wall of monitors at the 'head' of the room. Each one had a label denoting which world it connected to "... Welcome to central command." With Jabiim in their hands, they can begin raiding as far as Mon Calamari. I hear though that the First Order has many shipyards, harming Bilbringi will certainly be like kicking the hornets nest, but they will recover fast. Its how Imperials do it best...Speaking of a nest, the buzz of Alliance Central Command made Jemad feel at home. It reminded him of the buzz of the Galactic Republic's Colonies Fleet HQ on Fondor. The ensigns and officers walking among one another, conveying orders to the various detachments of the Colonies Fleet throughout its patrolling region. It was where Jemad started off before taking an opportunity to gain a field commission as a ranking officer in the Republic's Navy. Took some time being at the Anaxes Naval Academy before he graduated, gained a ship and the rank of Captain, then continued from there. The Duro leans upon a railing in front of him, looking out at the command center. So tell me, Marshal, where do you need Battlegroup Pertinax?

He was in a cargo bay. He wasn't sure how he got here, nor could he figure out the sense of urgency he felt. He looked about the images in his head a little clearer then the previous set. Things seemed a little disproportionate, a little larger than they should have been, or was that just because it was a dream? There were people moving about and they too seemed ill at ease with the situation. One of the more familiar faces turned to him and urged him to move away as an explosion happened near the doors. He turned to move feeling sluggish, heart racing, trying to get out of danger, but it was too late... A stray shot from a blaster tore at his ankle and he fell down behind a pile of crates. The pain was overwhelming and yet distant... His eyes fluttered open and he sat up quickly reaching for his ankle, but in doing so noticed the pain wasn't in his ankle anymore... Although his head felt a little clouded and spinning from his sudden awakening, and his heart was still racing.
Panting slightly he looked around still a bit disoriented, his current surroundings close to what he had been dreaming of. He paused when he saw Penny sitting next to him, a little surprised to see her there. However he also realized that she was not in the dream he just had, so the events in his dream weren't from now... this calmed him a little and he continued looking around. He finally spotted Han and Z'har and realized he was probably back on the Moondancer. He must have been brought back to the ship after he ran into... what was the bouncer from The Cave doing here? He thought, as his eyes landed on Brick. He turned back to look at Penny as she was closest, the fog and dizziness starting to ebb away slightly embarrassed at the question but curious nonetheless.
How long was I out?

Penny kept an eye on Clem as he tossed and turned, before finally he woke up. It seemed that Z'har's doctoring wasn't half bad. Thankfully he didn't appear to have received any major injuries from his ordeal, so that was good "Only a short time. Half an hour at most..."
BB-Awesome hid behind Han as the group arrived to the cargo bay. The droid poking its head out from behind the Jawa, as Han looked them all over. This would be quite the story he imagined So... who's first?

We need to push the border back and make a meaningful move. Your Battlegroup could help make the difference..."

Z'har figured that was his cue, he would give Clem a few more moments to gather his wits. He made a sharp 'I now present' motion toward the huge herglic.
-Z'har May I now present Olwen of the pod Morris. Bearer of the Tewhatewha Ua-whatu & the Leiomano Tū-ka-riri. Caste warrior of the fifth sphere. Formerly a bouncer for the Club known as the Cave under the stage name of Brick.
-Brick Ko te tetahi orotika he iti.
-Z'har Still working on pronouncing basic.

Well that name was quite the mouthful. At least the introduction was anyway. Han was fairly certain the Herglic would go by Olwen Morris or Brick for everyday things. and to further things, Brick seemed to still not quite speak basic. Sadly his translator unit only converted his language to basic, or which ever language he set it to. Provided it was actually working. But that aside, it seemed Z'har understood the giants language. Which would be important towards them working together. Han then turned toward the stripper, ushering toward her then
As the Jawa motioned to her, she took a moment to realize what he wanted. It was a moment later till she remembered that she had only ever fully introduced herself to Z'har. That and Clem did not seem like he was in any state to introduce her "Penny Farthing. I was a stripper and... I suppose the civilized term is a call girl, at the same place that Brick worked at..."
Well, her profession wasn't a big surprise. The fact that Clem had managed to pay for her, was though. But that would be a story for later. As it was, the last of the cargo headed for Bothawui was being loaded, and he was somewhat eager to leave sooner than later. He then motioned to Awesome, as the ball droid rolled out from behind him BB-Awesome... Is everyone ready to go?

The remaining fog in his head was clearing up nicely. The spinning was starting to subside as well. He looked up as Z'har motion forward and introduced Brick. He sighed slightly as his mind put it together that he knocked himself out by running into a Brick. He shook his head slightly recognizing at least a little humor in it, as Penny stepped forward and introduced herself to the crew. Clem started to look a little confused when she spoke of a "call girl." Not being much of a people person, nor having spent what little time he did around those that would have explained to him what it meant, or why it was the civilized term it went right over his head. He had after all paid Mace for a few moments of her time as an employee of the club... hadn't he?
Still confused he saw Han move slightly to point at the droid behind him. It was not a model Clem had seen before... not that that got his hopes up. The droid was short enough for him to trip over if he wasn't paying attention, and that was on a good day. Han however gave the droids name and asked if they were ready to go. This surprised Clem out of his slightly confused thoughts and cause him to speak a little too soon.
Yea I'm good. I got what I came here for. Realizing slightly too late what he said he quickly glanced at then away from Penny. His faced flushed with his embarrassment and his already beating too fast heart skipped a beat. I.. uh.. ughhhh. He stammered before groaning and bringing his left hand up to his left temple. which both broadcasted his embarrassment, but also help to block Penny from his view. He paused a second before lowering his hand and looking decidedly away from Penny focusing on Z'har for some unknown reason. The fog and dizziness in his mind had evaporated by this point. Yes I am prepared to leave now that we are all... here... Clem glanced up and to the right as he paused for a moment clearly thinking of something... it took but a second but something Z'har had said finally clicked into place.
Z'har how did you know I was with someone? I never saw you in The Cave.

There were a number of ways he could play off his earlier slip. He could have claimed to hear them talking. He could have explained about seeing Clem enter the club. He could even claim that Clem had misheard him. None of those were particularly fun. Instead, he decided to play with the other man's head. Holding his hands up level with his face, he waggled his fingers & slowly lowered his hands.
-Z'har Magic.

I am limited with ground forces, mostly enough to prevent my ships from being boarded. However, with the repairs and much needed replenishment from Corellia, I think we should be ready enough to fight.Taris, as the Rear-Admiral recalled, was a well known and vital system in the Outer Rim. Control of it gave either side a wide range through the network of hyperspace lanes in which fleets could go forth from. Taris was dangerous in the hands of the First Order and no doubt it was heavily fortified by the Imperials. It would be a bloody fight, thought the Duro.In that case, Marshal, since I will be working with the Rebel Alliance, will my rank still stand or will I bet receiving a new commission as the commanding officer for the Pertinax Battlegroup?

"It is not man power that we lack right now Rear-Admiral, but ships. And your battlegroup will be a great boon to the cause..." Each Alliance world was dedicating more and more of their soldiers to the cause. But many of them lacked fleets. And while Raxus Prime had provided them many used ships and the Mon Cal shipyards were producing new ones for them, it was still not enough. They needed veteran fleet personelle to man them and match the firepower the First Order was bringing against them "Your command will remain for now. But provided you do well over Taris, a promotion may be in order if you wish it... I suggest you prepare your officers and make for Taris, the offensive begins at once..."

Han almost face palmed as Clem seemed to stumble on his own words. If he had eyebrows, he would have cocked one up in confusion. Wondering just how truly oblivious Clem was or not. However, given the man was probably operating on an unusually high dosage of caffeine, it was more likely that that had caused the mistake. Somehow that seemed to make more sense that Clem was just a clutz, instead of some secret mastermind that was playing them all
Penny blushed a little as Clem stated that he got what he came for. A part of her couldn't help but wonder if perhaps he did truly mean those words, even as he tried to correct himself a few moments later. Maybe somewhere deep down, he did. But she was fairly certain she would never truly know the truth "I'm good to go as well..."
Han gave a nod before watching as Z'har responded to Clem's question. Did the Zabrak really just wiggle his fingers and say magic. He might have tried to question the cook further, but he knew his translator was bound to break and make such a conversation more difficult. Perhaps he would try fix the thing while they travelled to their next destination. Speaking of, the cargo was finished being loaded and the cargo bay door was being closed. The ship internal comms activated then, letting them all know that they were taking off. At last, he though. They would make it free About time too... The ship rocked a little then, before several alerts went off. The automated emergency system was registering small arms blaster fire hitting the hull. Han hit a button on the control panel nearby, producing a hologram of their attackers. Some of them were Obadiah's people, the others belonged to Mace Definitely time to go! The Moondancer didn't bother raising its shields as it took off out of the spaceport and headed up into orbit

Clem was interested in how Z'har would reply. He wasn't expecting quite such a response however and was frankly a bit nettled by the entirety of the response. A quite skeptical expression came over Clem's face as he formulated his reply.
Sure... Magic... As a practitioner of what some lesser informed people may consider "Magic" I hope you can understand my complete and total disbelief in your statement.
As he finished this statement he swept his right hand and and waved it horizontally from left to right, unintentionally lifting the slight pillow on the cot and flinging it right at BB Awesome. Startled slightly at this unintentional action he looked over to BB Awesome. Sorry about that.

Graemon scratches his beard slightly, knowing this would be a rough task. Taris was surely well defended by the First Order. His fleet and crews would certainly be going against the hardest of veteran and most resourceful of the Imperial's commanders. The Fondorian looks over at Victor Marshall, nodding affirmatively.I will get my fleet situated and readied for combat, Marshal. I shall send a communication to my brother and see if he can persuade our home of Fondor and the Tapani Sector to support the Rebel Alliance's struggle against the First Order. A gesture of good faith, Sir.And hopefully a means to gain a favor, thought the Rear-Admiral.

"Of course. Any and all aide would be most welcome. When next we meet, I hope we shall have secured Taris..." Victor gave a nod, before taking his leave of the Rear-Admiral, to go and attend to some other business within the command center. Life was always moving, meaning that he could never linger on one thing for too long. As it was, the war was taking quite a toll on his time. But whispers were surfacing on the edge of his reach. Talk of the Alliance transforming into a formal Galactic Alliance. Built from the ground up to avoid the failures of the old Republic system. If such a thing was possible, then it would either stretch his time further, or make his life much easier

Foamwander City was buzzing with activity. Ships from a half dozen worlds of the Alliance were filling the air above the City or docked in the spaceport. Soldiers were on high alert and more present than ever before for the military capital of the Alliance. But it was an unusual occasion. Reports were coming in from the Core Worlds of a First Order incursion. In a move that had shocked many, the First Order had expanded their control down into the Core, stopping short of Alliance held territory there.
There had been whispers of the formation of a new unified government. But no one had wanted to risk being the one making a push for a new Republic. After all, the Alliance had formed on the idea that a unified government could not be allowed the power the Republic had once had. But this move by their Imperial adversaries had proved that the Alliance was not equipped to deal with this menace. To that end, an Emergency Meeting had been called between the heads of each world within the Alliance and representatives from the Jedi Order.
Everyone had been gathered within a large meeting hall, including Victor and his pair of bodyguards. Those unable to be present physically, were present via holocall. The room was alive with talk, as various leaders discussed the news of the First Order move, others about why they had all gathered here. It was then, that a Mon Calamari stepped forward, causing a hush to fall across the crowd "Thank you for being here. Many of you have doubtless heard the news by now... I can confirm that The First Order has moved into the Core Worlds..." There was a brief uproar at the news. Victor remained impassive. It would serve no one to get upset and try and claim it was not true. They had to deal with the truth and react accordingly. The Mon Calamari waved his hand, causing silence to fall once more "Enough! Please... This bickering will get us no where! We must face the truth... We are losing this fight..." There was little more than a murmur this time. Despite how many wins and losses each side might have, the First Order controlled territory from the Unkown Regions, down into the Deep Core , through the Core and throughout the Imperial Sector of the Outer Rim. Meanwhile, the Alliance was barely holding a line against them "And what is it that we should do then? Should we surrender?"
"To what end Prince? Would you disrespect all of the lives lost in this fight? Would your people prefer enslavement to the First Order because it is easy?"
"Well no..."
"Nor would I suggest such a course of action. No, I suggest another course of action... The Alliance was founded on the idea that our combined militaries would be able to fight back and defeat a newly rising Imperial threat. But we underestimated our foe... They struck with a unified force, at the command of this... Supreme Commander Nicademus Delvardus, and aided by the Knights of Ren... But if we are to survive... if we are to have a chance of holding back the First Order, we need to take a drastic step forward... None of us wish to put our head out. But what I propose next, demands that we do it... I do not suggest we return to the days of the Republic. But many have talked of turning this Alliance into a formal, Galactic Alliance!" Even though there had been talk of it, and the idea was the only route forward, each leader still feigned some level of outrage. But Victor could see that the Mon Calamari politician was having none of it "Silence! Enough of this spectacle! Save the show for when you return home! tell me, who has a better idea? Our division has not helped us in this fight. The First Order has shown that their unity will smash the weak links that keep us together... We must strengthen our bonds! We can correct the mistakes of the Republic! We stand on the precipice of a new age, and we must step forward into it together!" It was slow at first, but it started a wave which engulfed the room. Cheers went forth, as the Mon Calamari's proposal was accepted. Victor smiled. Whether the Mon Calamari had meant to or not, he had certainly secured his place amongst the leadership of this new Galactic Alliance. The following hours were filled with discussions regarding how the GA would operate and how all would fit within the new command structure
