The Nuba City Spaceport was a spaceport situated to the west of Nubia's capital, Nuba City. It was a full-service spaceport, including repair and refueling facilities. The Nuba City monorail had a station there, providing transport into the city.

To request a new general location on the site, please make the request formally in this thread.
jedivsith.boards.net/thread/1016/new-general-rp-location-requests
Just follow the format, and it will be judged by a Whill.
A thought tho, that if this location is only being used for your own character, and to not add to the number of unused threads, I feel obligated to also refer you to the Journal of the Whills.
jedivsith.boards.net/board/683/active-storylines
In there you can create a thread and type away at your leisure. This is a wonderful medium for background stories, what-ifs, as well as many other things.
I hope this helped you.

While converting my Coffee Brewer into an Alcohol Brewer might prove difficult, I believe that all it will take is a few extra parts, and some more buttons. Everyone loves buttons.
I might also be able to make it dispense any known liquid known to the Universe.....Oh the possibilities!
Keep the suggestions rolling, Dav. We need input like this to make the site better.

Crom'nem, the Whills are aware of this issue, and have found out that it is a probards-level issue. We have reported the issue and received feedback, and are hoping that the problem will be fixed within the next few days. If not, then you have my guarantee I will pester them until it is fixed.

You meant in like JvS RP, then?
I'll wait to do this until I get confirmation. No need to jump the gun prematurely again.

What can I say?
Well I can say don't panic. Definitely don't start looting. We have enough coffee to last us the night, until help arrives. As long as we remain calm we'll make it....

Brought back by popular demand, and pestering, Smuggler's Run has once again joined the list of JvS locations. In an attempt to spread the word faster that this popular place has been brought back for the writing community, and to attract writers to the location as well, this Announcement was created as well.....
It is in no way an abuse of authority to seek praise... >.>
At all........
Have fun writing on the new location. If I was able to leave my cage the other Whills keep me in, I would definitely consider going. I hope everyone else decides to take advantage of it. Have some coffee, on me. The bill will find its way to here somehow, don't worry.

The open space and deadly asteroid field that surrounds the Smuggler's Run. Only pilots of extreme skill and luck are able to make it through the large field.

The primary asteroid that was part of Smuggler's Run. It was home to a spaceport and massive smuggling facility, as well as the typical locales associated with smugglers, including cantinas and casinos. Navigating the asteroid field was very treacherous, thus making Smuggler's Run a very secure hideout. Skip 1 was the largest of several asteroids named "Skip."

The Crow's Nest was once a bustling commercial zone and complex for the mining company that formerly operated on the Skip 1. It housed VIP's and workers, serviced and loaded transport freighters, and was considered a secondary base of operations for the company, as well. Since the operations of the company were scaled back due to the criminal element coming onto the scene, it was closed down temporarily, at first; and although they attempted reopening it several times, the saturation of the crime bosses' activities on the Skips always made it more and more difficult to achieve their goals without heavy financial losses. The years passed by, and although the complex was home to the occasional squatter or small gang, it never saw the full extent of use it had before.
The complex boasts several facilities: housing, medical, mechanical, recreational, technical, and even a small restaurant/diner facility. The hangar, on an adjacent floor, connects to the main complex via several tunnels, service entrances, and droid bays. The complex came into the hands of the Veritas crew by a combination of chance and skill with negotiations. After several years of going dormant, and remaining otherwise non-useful to the crime bosses of the Skips, Aedon Gavin Montrose had decidedly needed to establish a pre-made base of operations. It was, to that effect, that he bargained with the local crime lords to take the complex off their hands, if only for a menial share of whatever profits he would make as a smuggler. During one of the final raids from galactic authorities, however, Aedon's contract with the crime bosses expired, due to the main contact that he paid his dues toward being caught in the crossfire. With that sheer stroke of luck, Aedon managed to cut ties with the criminal element of the Skips, and thus his new home the Crow's Nest remains to be the crew's facility and home.

The Thieves Den was a stronghold of former crime lord named Tiberius Kane. Kane terrorized the crime lords of other skips to gain control of the entire Smuggler's Run. He would have done it too had it not been for a pair of brothers infiltrating his ranks and taking him down from within. They had discovered the fortress' location while they were in deep with Kane's forces. They never disclosed the location to anyone, they simply took their payment, and left the Smuggler's Run, keeping their new prize a secret from all thusly calling it the Thieves Den as a joke for pulling one over on the other crime lords.
The Thieves Den is hidden inside one of the mountains of Skip 1. The entrance when coming on foot appears much like a cave, however twenty feet inside the cave one would find a large blast door. The door was secured with a key pad and a thumb print scanner that records every person's identity should they try to use it. The compound was equipped with various types of countermeasures to keep it's location hidden and secure, including: 220-SIG Tactical Sensor Jamming Devices, Repulsorlift jammers, thermal dissipators, photon absorbers, and several others scattered throughout the facility. Each room was equipped with distortion field emitters to stop any conversations from being recorded from outside the complex.
There was a well equipped armory on site with all types of technology at the disposal of the former owner and his men, from personal cloaking devices to thermal detonators to blasters to knives, the collection is extensive. There is a large hangar and garage inside the complex that is accessible through a large cave in the side of Shadow Canyon behind the mountain. There also is a full medical ward located within the Den. In addition to these features there are several living quarters located within the complex and other living accommodation

On the far edges of the first Skip of the Smugglers Run, a hidden safehouse for the criminally minded folks that normally smuggled, stole, or otherwise didn't abide by the locale laws of the universe, was a single small time cantina by the name of Red Shift. Being a small, nearly run-down yet operable by smuggler and other riffraff standards and not those of the upper classes that looked down on people who would visit the Shift and the Run itself, the cantina was small and rarely visited by anyone other than those who had first been there when it opened nearly a decade ago. The ceiling of the entire two-story cantina was filled with holographic projection emitters that produced a multitude of visual images, from open space to the orbits of several planets that patrons called home or visited often. The bartender, who also happened to be the owner of the fine establishment in the first Skip, was a simple Trandoshan smuggler and small time spice dealer by the name of Drelldel. Having given up his line of work in the smuggling business a while back, Drelldel chose to settle down, start a family (which he successfully did here on the first Skip; he had a beautiful Transdoshan wife and two small reptilian children) and start his own cantina instead of run blockades and bring in illegal objects others sought. Now, he spent his free time teaching his kids how to survive in the real world and run his cantina, as well as sell spice on the side and hire out young Smugglers to bring him expensive wines and other illegal and desirable objects from afar to his cantina.

I always enjoy blind adoration and worship in all its forms. I also accept random gifts of organs.
I hope that you continue to be a name out there. While I have not had the pleasure of writing with you in one of my mortal forms, I know enough of you to be glad you're around.

....I don't get it, but oh well. Oh....edited it....m'kay?
You format the app, but everyone else who was having the same problem finds out your accomplishment and hunt you down, until you end up in a windmill and they burn it down around you...just like Frankenstein.
I wish that whenever I smiled a kitten died. Or does that already happen?
