Following extensive deliberations, and consultation with Jedi Master Rawkill on the matter, the leadership of the Double World's Federation agreed to lend their aide to the fledgling Alliance that the Jedi Order was currently heading the formation of. Reports of Imperial Activity in the Unknown Regions, along with the revelation of a new darkside group known as the Knights of Ren, had caused much stir amongst the people of Talus and Tralus, and so it had not been a hard decision to choose a side. And especially now, with the dissolution of the Republic, governments would need to band together and supply forces to a intergalactic peace keeping corp that would halt the advance of the Imperials. Whether Corellia, Drall, and Selonia would join the alliance, was another matter entirely, but as it was, sentiment and support for the Jedi ran high here, and they would lend aide regardless

*A tourist, that's what she looked like. Nothing more than a person in the large bustling crowd of sentients milling about her. Even her dress seemed to fit the bill, from her combat boots and faded blue jeans, to the yellow and black hoodie she wore. Looks can be deceiving however, because she was no tourist, she was a hunter. Underneath her hoodie was a light blast vest and a DL-44 strapped to her side. The dufflebag on her back held parts of her Beskar'gam, not all of it but enough to quickly put on for some protection. A fight wasn't what she was looking, it was one of the very last things she would hope to find here. The person she was trying to find was Constance, her older sister. Starting a fight with her would end poorly, for both of them. Tessa checked the chrono on her wrist and scanned the crowd again. Finding her sister was a bit of a problem. Dearic was a big place with lots of people, it also didn't help that her sister was a Jedi and they weren't exactly keen on sharing their members locations with other people, especially Mandalorians. Letting out a low sigh, she pushed her way through the crowded hangar.*
*After escaping the thickest section of the crowd, Tessa found herself leaning against the railing of an observation platform. Her blue eyes scanned the masses below, until she found what she was looking for, her older sibling. Tessa gave a ghost of a smile before reaching into the pocket of her hoodie. She pulled out a small communicator and began to type a message to her sister, hoping all the while that she still used the same frequency.*
::Turn around. Look up. You're being watched from the observation platform.::

Constance stood near the edge of a large crowd, her pair of curved saber hilts hanging from the belt around her hips, as she helped direct a group towards their next destination. A few days had passed since they had returned from Garqi, but Constance had not faltered once from getting back to her patrols around the city, always eager to offer her services where ever they might be helpful. It was then, that she felt a small vibration from her dtatpad, prompting her to pull the small device out, almost instantaneously recognizing the frequency it had come in from. She spun around and looked up upon the observation deck, focusing her senses upon there, as she searched for that familiar presence, which she had not felt in years. Sure enough, with her focus upon the rough area, Constance sensed her sister there, before she made a move through the crowds and up the stairs to the platform, pausing just a few feet away from the railing her sister was leaning against =Jedi Knight Constance= Tessa?!

*Tessa stepped back away from the railing and gave her sister a small grin. She was glad to see her, but wasn't exactly sure what to say after so long. Constance looked well enough, older than what she remembered. Tessa's eyes darted to the two lightsabers attached to her sisters waist than back up to her eyes.*
"Hey Constance. Didn't expect to see your little sister here, did you?"

Constance couldn't remember how long it had been since she'd last seen Tessa, it must have been a few years now, since the two sisters had been united. Without a second though, Constance closed the distance between the pair and hugged her sister, pulling her into a close embrace, relieved that her sister was alive and well after all these years =Jedi Knight Constance= I did not expect this at all, but I am glad for the surprise... How have you been? I've missed you...

*Tessa hugged her sister back and gave a low laugh.*
"Missed you to. I've been..busy actually. But, I had some free time and I was in the system. So...naturally I had to see if I could find you and see how you have been." *She stepped back and gave her sister a once over.* "So, how have you been?"

Constance smiled as Tessa stepped back, wondering just what her sister had been up to, where she'd been, what she'd been doing. But such questions were pushed to the side for the moment as her sister asked how she had been =Jedi Knight Constance= I've been good... really good actually. I passed my Knight Trials recently, thanks to Master Rawkills help... Why don't we grab some lunch, and catch up? I want to hear about what you've been up to, and how mom and dad are doing...

*When Tessa heard that her sister had passed her trails and become a Jedi Knight, she felt pride for her older sibling.* "A Jedi Knight huh? Am I going to have to start calling you Knight Constance?" *She gave a chuckle, but at her sisters mention of lunch, she realized how hungry she was.* "Lunch sounds good actually." *She started moving towards the steps of the observation platform, hoping her sister would take the lead since she had never been her before. A pensive gaze graced her featured at the mention of their parents.* "Well...mom and dad are doing okay. Last I knew anyway. I haven't talked to them much lately. Kind of a long story actually. Short story, they disapproved of a job I took. We got into a fight, and I haven't spoken to them of a few weeks. Other than that...okay I guess."

=Jedi Knight Constance= Just my name is fine... She chuckled, almost half considering making her sister jokingly have to call her Knight Constance, as she lead the way off the observation platform, to the waiting hover taxi ranks, listening to her sister all the while as they got into one, Constance quickly giving the driver the name of her favourite cafe, before returning her attention to her Sister. She had not seen their parents in a number of years, her training as a Jedi having not been very conducive to finding time for maintaining a relationship with them, and even when time had freed up, it had been so long, that things had never been able to get back to where they should be. Tessa had been the one with the stronger bond with them, and so to hear they were not on speaking terms, was a cause for concern =Jedi Knight Constance= Tess... What happened?

*Tessa sat down in the Taxi and placed her duffle bag in front of her. Biting her lower lip as she thought how to word her answer.*
"There was this job...a bounty hunting job. A Weequay who worked as a spice smuggler for one of the Hutts. Turns out he was very well connected, and liked, by his employer. Liked well enough that he had a small personal army to guard him. I took the job to go after him. Mom and dad were upset, to say the least. Told me I would get badly injured...or worse." *Tessa paused for a moment before speaking again.* "We got into an argument. I stormed out. Haven't talked to them since. They were right in a way though, I got pretty banged up from that job, but I got my mark at least."

The smile had certainly faded from her face by the time Tessa had finished her explanation, somewhat torn over how she felt about everything. On the one hand, she could understand their parents concern over Tessa's safety, but on the other hand, she was relieved that her sister had returned alive and in one piece. That aside, it did mean that her sister had chosen a path of her own in life, one that diverged from her own path =Jedi Knight Constance= Well, they were right to worry! I mean, you were the only one left at home... Still, I'm just glad that you are alright... It was then, that the Taxi arrived to their destination, Constance paying the driver, before she lead the way out of the Taxi and to a table inside the cafe at the back, where she sat down first, and motioned to Tessa to do the same =Jedi Knight Constance= You really should reach out to them, you know? I gave up a relationship with them, but I did so willingly, and it is not something I would wish on you, especially leaving things heated like that...

*Tessa stepped out of the taxi with her sister and rolled her eyes.* "I know, I will...just not sure how. It's not that I don't know where they are, their still home. I mean. I'm an adult and their still treating me like a kid, that gets really irritating."
*She sat down at the table and let out a sigh as she looked out the window for a moment than back to her sister.* "I think you leaving to join the Jedi order had something to do with that also. They may have been afraid that I wouldn't ever come back or something."

She offered her sister a reassuring smile, certainly understanding of their parents feelings. Tessa was the younger of the siblings, and so of course they would be protective of her. But at the same time, they did need to treat her like an adult and trust that she would return safely. She reached across the table, placing her hand atop one of Tessa's, giving it a gentle squeeze =Jedi Knight Constance= I'm sure you'll figure it out... Besides, I'm sure I can always try provide some advice if you need it. And considering I've never gone back home, I'm sure you can understand why they would be worried you wouldn't... But I'm sure you didn't come here to just talk about that, am I right?

*Tessa gave a faint smile at her sisters reassurance. The smile quickly faded when her sister asked about her real reason for being here.* "No, that's not the reason. Nothing says I cant stop to see what my sister had been doing, even in the middle of a hunt."
*She paused for a momrnent before speaking again.* "I've been hired to hunt down some strange targets lately. Most were never considered high value until lately. Their not really dangerous, or criminals of any sort. They seem to have information, much need information." *She glanced around the cafe before locking eyes with her older sibling.* "Somethings happening sis, I don't need to force to feel it brewing. Sides are vying for a spot somewhere. Even at home on Mandalore, everyone seems to be getting ready for something. You can feel the tension in the air."

Constance would have rested a lot easier if she thought Tessa was here only to drop in and say hi. But her sisters next words were certainly part of why Tessa had dropped in to see her. Indeed, there was something brewing. War was on the horizon, what with this Imperial resurgence that Master Rawkill had been involved in engaging on Garqi, and their Knight of Ren allies. It made sense the Mandalorians would be eager to offer their services. Constance lowered her voice at this point, for fear of eavesdroppers =Jedi Knight Constance= Nothing escapes you dear sister... It would seem that a new Imperial faction is gathering in the outer rim, and preparing for expansion... It's no surprise the aliite are preparing for what is coming... I know I can't ask you to stay out of this, so I must implore you to consider wisely, as to which side you choose to work for...

*A ghost of a smile graced Tessa's features.* "I'll try my best vod. Although, it's getting harder to chose sides anymore. You just...kinda get dragged along with whatever conflict happens." *She sat up straight and tried to push away those thoughts.* "Enough about that. What have you been up to?"

For Constance, the choice of sides was always easy. The Jedi Order had a set role to play in the galaxy, and that was ensuring that peace and freedom prevailed, and that institutions to implement such action were in place. For someone like Tessa, the lines weren't always so clear. For them, it didn't always mattered what the cause was. They fought for honor from their people, for credits to fill their coffers, for food to fill their bellies. She smiled and returned the tone of her voice to a more normal level =Jedi Knight Constance= Oh, just the usual. Training to improve myself, working with Master Rawkill and the Council of First Knowledge to ensure that certain artifacts do not fall into the wrong hands. It's busy work, but in the wrong hands, knowledge can be used for a great and many evil deeds... but when used with no malcontent, people can perform great acts of kindness with it...

Despite the war that raged between the Alliance and the First Order, life on Talus continued unhindered. Defences had been shored up on the world, but the civilian population continued their trades as if the war was a distant memory. Goods came and went. Soldiers trained to either be sent off to aide the Alliance or to remain on Talus and remained ready to fight should the First Order show up here

Ever since the mysterious appearance and disappearance of the Th'tremsi, Talus and Tralus had been changed. For the first time in many decades, the two worlds were once more united under a single government. A government which had held strong when its architects had suddenly disappeared. Leaving behind a power vacuum, which the two worlds had initially struggled to deal with. In fact, for the briefest of periods, while the Galactic Alliance was forming, the government had acted primarily without any real central authority.
But during those days of uncertainty, Marcus Starmane had stepped forward. Born on Talus itself, he had been a voice of reason and progress. It had been thanks to his leadership, that two worlds came together once more. Backing the movement to form the Galactic Alliance. But also to once more reform the Federation of the Double Worlds.
While there were few still alive that remembered the old Federation, many viewed it as a chance to regain the independence of Talus and Tralus from the rest of the Corellian System and continue the work that had been started here. But where it's predecessor government had fallen to corruption, this new government would follow in the footsteps of its forefathers in the Triumvirate. Creating a coalition of member races that would work for the mutual benefit of all.
With its members selected, there remained but one thing left to do...
Marcus adjusted his cloak. Gripped his cane tightly and tapped it on the ground a couple times. And bent his knee a couple times, the knee brace working perfectly. He raised his head, as the double doors swung open, the light spilling into the slightly darkened hallway he had been waiting in. As he strode forward, the assembled members of the Federation of the Double Worlds Government rose to their feet and applauded. He raised his right hand, waving at them and to the holocams that were floating about the chamber.
It had taken almost a year of work. But here at last he stood, amid the accomplishments of not only himself, but those that had been willing to work with him. And while his daughter was off serving as the Senator for this new government, Marcus was here accepting the mantle of leadership. He continued across the chamber, to a small set of stairs leading up to a modestly sized throne. He took each step with pride, grateful for the brace he was wearing. He then turned toward the delegates. Causing all to fall quiet, as the holocams assembled in the air before him Today, is a day of celebration and achievement... Not for me, or those that take their first seat today, but for all across Talus and Tralus! We celebrate for where we once were lost, we stray no longer! We stand together, and announce that we will not repeat the mistakes of the past! We will look out for the interests of our citizens! And we will fight against the tyranny of the First Order! To the Galactic Alliance, be assured that we will continue to support the cause! To the Federation of the Double Worlds, I hope to serve you to the best of my abilities, as the leader I need to be! With that, a representative strode up the stairs, carrying a small red pillow, upon which sat an ornate chromium horn hair piece. The man stopped in front of Marcus, before offering forth the pillow By the honour entrusted to me by my fellow delegates, I proclaim you, King Marcus Starmane of the Federation of the Double Worlds! May your reign be long and your lineage prosperous! Marcus grasped the horn. Lifting it from the pillow, before sliding it into its place in his hair. The room erupted with applause once more. The delegate retreated, as Marcus took a seat upon the throne. The holocams then drew back, as the first session of government began...

Marcus stood on the balcony of the royal palace that overlooked the city of Dearic. The sun was starting to rise over the city as traffic went to and fro. Ships rose and descended between the spaceport and orbit, bringing goods and people from near and afar. His gaze sweeping over the thriving city to the Temple of Karabor, which sat at the opposite side of the city nearly vacant. After the fall of Dac, Marcus had offered the Galactic Alliances forces stationed here an option to remain with the FedDub or return to their homes. Many within the forces here were natives to Talus and Tralus and had opted to remain. But many that had been stationed at the Temple were from afar and wanted to return to their homes, regardless of if they were controlled by the First Order now or not.
He did not begrudge them their choice. He wished them well and made sure they were all provisioned and had transportation back to where they came from. But now they had a far greater problem to consider, and that was the safety of the FedDub. The Jedi had left their forces stationed here, but the future of the worlds that had formerly raised the banner of the Galactic Alliance was in question. With the First Order as the reigning power, how long would it be before they turned their attention upon worlds that still stood strong and free.
His thoughts were turned from such matters when a black bladed kukri flew through the air, embedding itself on the banister next to him. A pair of kukris landed on the ground not far behind him. He smiled as he turned toward the closest blade as Gerard flashed into existence, with Tobias and Reynerus following suit not far behind. Seraphina strolled out of a side door leading out on to the balcony then, crossing her arms as she leaned against the banister Gerard... Tobias... Reynerus... and Seraphina, looking as lovely as ever...
Thank you my king... Seraphina gave a short bow, before Marcus returned his attention to Gerard, the head of the Royal Guard So, what brings you to my quarters at this early hour? I don't believe there are any imminent threats right now, and my schedule does not begin for another couple hours...
I'd argue that with the Galactic Alliance gone, your life is always in imminent danger with the First Order looking to secure every world it can... But this is more of a... personal visit...
Personal? You? Well, now I'm interested... Go on...
Well... Gerard looked toward Seraphina, and then around to Tobias and Reynerus. Each of them giving inaudible nods to Gerard, before returning his attention back upon Marcus You know we have special training... That we had lives before pledging ourselves to your Royal Guard...
I do. And I only ever asked whether it would ever interfere with your duties to me, because I respect your right to privacy...
Exactly... And before you get concerned, this is not going to interfere with our oath to you. It is merely a request to you. You see, word has reached me that our former Master sits in orbit and is requesting permission to land... I have no idea why he is here, but I humbly request that you meet with him. If only so that we might meet him again... Marcus considered the four members of his Royal Guard for a moment. His gaze moving from one to the other. Since they had pledged their services to him, they had asked nothing of him. Simply served him, protecting him dangers that might otherwise claim his life. It seemed like a simple enough request, and he was curious to meet whoever it was that had trained them all. Perhaps he might be a good addition to the FedDub. After all, they needed all the allies they could muster Very well... Inform orbital control to have them land at the palace. We shall have the guards escort them to the senate room... And clear my schedule for the next couple hours...
Thank you your majesty...
It's Marcus... Now go get everything ready and give me the rest of my morning peace... The four of them nodded, before heading out of Marcus' chambers to attend to the preparations. Marcus' grip tightened upon his cane as he returned to looking out across the city. Life was about to get far more interesting very soon. Of that, he was certain
