Kalene wasted no time in following behind Ashara, her steps lively and eager. As far as she knew, she was merely going to live at the temple, for a bit of time, and help create their gardens and anything else they wish decorated with flora. It was a job she had done a few times before, so nothing was truly different there. But for some reason, she was excited in a way that seemed like a new stage of life was starting. Maybe it was because she was asked to stay at the temple, a place that was well respected and revered.
Loading up, it took only a single glance before her house was gone and they were on their way. As Ashara asked more about herself and her interests, Kalene told the woman what little she felt there was to say, revealing more of her humble side.
"There's really not much to say. Since I was young, I've always had an interest in horticulture and floriculture. There's just something about plants, flowers in particular, that seem to hold so much life to them. All it takes is a little bit and it can do wonders in brightening up a place. A delicate beauty that can make people smile. My mother said I was the same, which was why they gave me my name. Kalene means flower. And I enjoy bringing smiles to everyone's faces in all I do." She then thought a bit more. "I also enjoy dancing. I was taking a class for different styles, though I just left the class to pursue this oppertunity. There is something about it that captures me. I see it as a beautiful and graceful art, like the flow of life given physical form."
Realizing she was rambling random feelings, she scratched the back of her head, a bit embarrassed. "I'm sorry. I'm just rambling now. But what about you? I'd like to hear about you as well."

Ashara smiled, looking forward and glancing at Kalene every now and then, until she had finished speaking, at which point the Lightspawn turned her head to the girl.
You will fit in very well at the temple, I think. You have many gifts, yet are humble about them. I encourage you not to lose that humility.
Ashara, for the first time in their brief time knowing one another, looked surprised, when Kalene asked to know more about her. Their was little to tell, well, anything that would keep the mood cheery.
Well, I have been a member of the Temple for quite some time. I believe I am the only of my kind, but the Temple has provided me with a family, though I don't believe I can imagine what it must feel like to have such a beautiful family like yours. But I suppose you wish to know about my interests? I spend much of my time meditating, but I am also spend time reading. My favorite are theatrical scripts.
That last detail was something she never told anyone, mostly because no one had asked before.

Kalene looked down at her lap as blush lit up her face upon the mention of her being humble. She had been paid compliments before and they almost always gained such a reaction from her. "I will do my best."
The redness on her cheeks slowly faded as her gaze returned to Ashara, the woman gaining the girl's complete attention. For a moment, her eyes grew sad as she mentioned being the only one of her kind. She couldn't even imagine what it as like to have no real family, much less having any others of her race to interact with. She was the sole existence of her species, which begged the silent question, was she the last of her kind or was she the only one to ever exist? Neither brought happy thoughts, which caused Kalene to hold her tongue. All she could say was a small sad bit of feeling. "I can't imagine what that is like. Even with a family at the temple, it still must be very lonely, knowing it's only you." She then perked up as the woman went on, the mention of theatrical scripts. She couldn't help but let out a small giggle, her eyes starting to shine once again. "Theatrical scripts? That seems like a rather odd thing to enjoy reading. I could understand watching a theatrical production, but not reading the scripts."

Ashara's smile faded a bit as Kalene made the comment on her being the only one of her kind. It was true, though Ashara knew what it had taken to produce only her, she could not imagine the suffering that would take place to make more. Pushing those thoughts away she replied simply, a small smile back on her face.
=Ashara= Yes I suppose it's a little sad, but at least I'm guaranteed to be unique in at least one way.
Moving her attention back to the scripts, she knew it was a little odd, not to watch the show, but read it instead. The Lightspawn shook her head as she replied.
=Ashara= It does lose a little something, but the ability to make your own casting decisions, set design, and all the rest, in the theatre of your mind, makes for its own fascinating experience. Also, I can't usually go out to see a show, I block to many peoples views. She reached up and tapped one of her horns.
Soon the speeder was pulling into the hanger of the Temple, where it would drop them off.

Gerard relaxed a little as Zion shook his hand, relieved to see that his former Master remembered them all. He smiled as Zion started to apologise for not having returned to them all those years agoDon't be sorry, you had no control over what happened...He's right... Besides, we understood. We all committed to the fight against the Cinn Ion...We're just glad you're alive and well... But yes, we have also moved on. Serving King Starmane as his Royal Guard... Despite the truth of it, Zion still hated knowing that what had happened had been out of his control. It had been such a simple trap that he should have sensed it coming. Instead, he had been too wrapped up in seeing Iella again that he had blocked everything else out. But he pulled himself out of his thoughts as Gerard and Seraphina went on, talking about their new service. He gave a nodI'm proud of you all, and I'm glad you're putting everything I taught you to a good cause... Especially now that the Cinn Ion are gone... But perhaps we can reminisce later... He turned his attention back up toward Marcus then, the man still calmly seated in his throneI suspect his Majesty has plenty of other important tasks to attend to... But, if I may... Zion took a knee then, bowing his head to the man out of respectI request refuge here upon Talus for me and those with me... I have spent a long time focusing upon threats internal to my own people. But now... Now it is time to turn my attention upon those that threaten not just my people, but all people in the Galaxy...

Marcus had remained silent throughout the conversation that was held between Zion and Gerard. Despite his position, He was not one to unnecessarily insert himself into such a situation. He settled his focus on Zion then, as the man shifted the focus up to him. Marcus took a moment to consider the man's request. Refuge upon Talus. It was innocuous enough request, and not one that needed a great deal of thought. But Marcus took a moment to weigh up his response.
He glanced to his left side then, where the delegation of Jedi and current residents of the Temple stood. If Zion had trained his Royal Guard, that meant that the man was a skilled wielder of the Force. Something that the FedDub could use right now, given the recent set backs that the Jedi Order had suffered between the raid on Felucia and the collapse of the Galactic Alliance.
He turned his attention back to Zion, as his decision was made Your request for refuge is granted. With one condition... The Temple of Karabor needs a more permanent caretaker. I imagine there are resources there that you shall find useful in your quest to turn your attention upon the First Order and the Sith... Is this agreeable to you?

Zion lifted his head up as Marcus granted his request for refuge, but with a single condition. That condition being that Zion took on the role of caretaker of the local Temple. A place that he knew nothing about, other than what it looked like from their flight into the city. He shifted his attention to the Jedi that stood to Marcus' left side. Wondering just how they might feel about an outsider coming in and being given ownership of what he presumed was their Temple. Though, if it was their Temple, He doubted that Marcus would be just offering it up.
Zion glanced back toward his family and friends then. He knew they had all committed to following him. So the decision was not one he needed to take back to them to discuss. Raising his gaze back to Marcus, he pushed himself up to a standing position and gave a quick bow from his waist. Straightening back up as he finally replied That is more than agreeable to me, its current occupants will be allowed to come and go as they please... Thank you, your Majesty...

He had been about to offer Zion the chance to discuss the matter with the people he arrived with, when the man met his gaze and answered. Marcus let a slight smile form then. In truth, he would have still granted the man's request for refuge if Zion had declined the stewardship. It was merely a test to get a good read on Zion as a man and his commitment to his cause. He gave a nod of his head No, Mr Morviael... Thank You. For now, You are correct that I have other matters to attend to. I trust you to Sahra's care for the rest of the day, so that she can take you to the Temple and you might get acquainted to the place. A task I am sure the resident Jedi will be able to assist further with. For now... Marcus rose from his throne then, giving Zion and his friends a nod goodbye. Gerard, Seraphina, Tobias, and Raynerus all gave him a bow before falling in behind Marcus and Victor as the pair left the throne room.
Sahra descended the steps then, with the group of Jedi following down behind her. She looked to where her Father disappeared, before turning back to Zion. Grateful that the meeting had gone as well as it had. Not that it would have gone horribly wrong. Her Father was a reasonable man after all. But in the end, both parties seemed to gain something from it Very well, Master Morviael... After you... Will your ship be able to accommodate us all?

Zion gave another bow to Marcus as the man took his leave of the Throne room, leaving behind Sahra and the Jedi that currently lived in the Temple. He gave a nod as the Princess approached and asked if his ship would be able to accommodate everyone on the short trip over It should be more than enough... This way... Zion motioned for everyone to follow as he walked in step with Sahra back toward the Hangar Bay, the two groups falling in step and mingling behind the pair. It took only a few moments before they were loaded up into the Sanctuary II and the ship took off across the city toward the Temple of Karabor...

The Court of the Federation of the Double Worlds worked diligently to ensure the day to day operations of Talus and Tralus continued on as if Marcus was able to handle things personally. Sahra spent much of her free time on Talus directing the Government, while also having meetings with her father when time permitted for him to focus upon the worlds that he held dearest to his heart. But he had left the Fed Dub in his daughter's capable hands and so had little to worry in the way of things falling apart. Dearic continue to grow, the Knights of Karabor became a more permanent and known presence as helpers and allies of the people

With his time as Prime Minister and Deputy Minister of the Corellian Coalition at a close, Marcus was able to once again return to Talus and take his seat as King of the Federation of the Double Worlds. The Court and his staff were all relieved to have Marcus back and focused purely upon them. They had all understood the necessity of Marcus stepping up as Prime Minister, and did not begrudge the Coalition. Angel and Phoenix were also glad to be back on Talus. While they were Jedi Knights, the Twins had grown accustomed to the world and harmony with the Force here. But most of all, Sahra was glad for her Father's return. Something which meant she could spend much more time with him

Talus was a powder keg in waiting. The greater instability of a slowly collapsing Coalition had filtered down on Talus poorly. The Liberation party, a party of who wished for both Talus and Tralus to exist as independent worlds, had been growing traction in both the government houses and the streets. Though it had expressed itself mostly as grand writing and peaceful protests there was an element of the movement who was growing impatient with their lack of process. With the election of a new and untested Monarch time was ripe for change and there were those who were preparing to make that change happen one way or another.....

Recent activity, given the rise of the old Liberation Party, had brought Graemon to the world of Talus and its capital of Dearic. C-Sec had its hands full pretty badly these days and were rather stretched as such. Extremist activity was growing on the Corellian Sector, new parties rising that called for Isolationist and a 'Five Worlds First' mentality, corruption was running high and the refugee issue was only growing... it ensured little time for Graemon to even see his beloved wife, Lynne, who was working just as diligently with the refugees. The Baron was happy that his wife never gave up on them and, in turn, Graemon gave his support whenever he could to Lynne, the Baroness Gorgano. Even his sister-in-law, Valerian's wife, was helping her with taking care of the vulnerable and weak.
Back to the topic of Talus and Tralus, the activity was stronger on the former than the latter, so Director Gorgano came with a contingent of C-Sec, augmented by the Peace Bridge, the elite Coalition Defense Brigade. He could have easily transferred regulars to the planet, but the Fondorian was not going to risk a civil war or armed clashes. Nonetheless, a portion of his flotilla, the Coalition Third Fleet, was in orbit to give assistance. In Dearic, he took up office in the government building and set about countering propaganda with propaganda and investigating individuals with possible criminal actions. If he could give an air of law and order, the people would turn their backs on the chaos-stirring Liberation Party and its radical voice.

Dearic Capital - Office of the President
Being a workaholic, President Burkhart Trauner's first stop after returning from an exhausting week-long trip to Tralus to sit down with the Prime Ministers of the Federation of the Double Worlds and leaders to the Liberation Party to try and find a way to resolve a conflict that, in light of everything else impacting the lives of citizens on the Double Worlds and the economy, was ultimately in no-one's best interest to allow to continue is his office rather than his home.
As he sits at his desk and starts going through the reports to be read and other matters that have been waiting for him to review or address them, never having been one to procrastinate when one never knows what new items will be added to one's plate, Burkhart reflects on the rough road that has led him to his current position. Chairman of the Trauner Group, a Talus-based investment group that invests in public and private companies across a range of industries that includes energy, financial services, and healthcare, Burkhart never had the slightest interest in entering the political arena until, in the wake of the collapse of the Corellian Coalition after the First Order attacks on the Five Worlds, he saw a need for someone to step up try to start getting the Double Worlds' proverbial house in order without the all too common greed and corruption muddying the waters. Funding his campaign, when the public outcry for new leadership had gotten so loud it could not be denied without risking an uprising, for the Office President out of his own pocket, ensuring he didn't owe any political favors to anyone, and running on the primary promise of restoring the economic stability of the Double Worlds, Burkhart found that his untarnished reputation as a businessman and strong relationships with the leaders of industry that he dealt with in the course of doing business resonated with the average citizens on Talus and Tralus, and steadily gained enough support that, when the elections were held, he narrowly beat his opponent, a career politician that Burkhart suspects lost primarily because the man was simply less charismatic and projected less confidence than he himself did.
While the road to the office of President had been rough, his first months were even more so as Burkhart was forced to learn the ropes of his new role while dealing with the aftermath of the First Order's attack as well as the Double Worlds' own troubles. Fortunately for everyone, Sabina Gaultieri had come into her role as the Diktat of Corellia shortly after Burkhart took office, and her call for the Five Brothers to work together was accepted by the inhabited worlds of the Corellian system, making many things easier for all involved in a relatively short time as trade between the worlds was restored, CDF Forces were deployed to aid in civilian relief, and things began to get a little closer to normal for the citizens of the Five Worlds.
The Liberation Party matter had been stewing for so long that Burkhart supposes it was naive to think getting everyone to sit down and try to come to an understanding, and is still somewhat surprised that it worked. Getting the Prime Ministers and Liberation Party leaders to the sit down had not been easy, but once they were all in the same room, and had a chance to air things out, Burkhart had proposed a solution he thought was as close to making everyone happy as was possible; agreeing to let the Prime Minister of Tralus effectively lead their world's governance without the President stepping in unless invited or in times of war or crisis had been the first thing everyone could agree on, and he had no problem giving up a bit of power if it meant ending the tension the conflict between the government of the Double Worlds and the Liberation Party. The second step had been the rockier one, getting the current Prime Minister of Tralus agree to step down so that one that the Liberation Party agreed on could be instated something that took awhile for everyone to accept, and then settling on a candidate for the role that was suitable in the eyes of everyone took even longer, but in the end it happened and, in the coming days, will be put into motion.

President Burkhart Trauner pours himself two fingers of Whyren's Reserve before he comms Prime Minister Hahn of Tralus to discuss Diktat Gaultieri's latest proposals, not in anticipation of any discord given that, so far, he and Hahn have settled into a comfortable enough business relationship where the governance of the Double Worlds is concerned, but because he has fallen into the habit of having a drink at the end of his more often than not long work days.
Given that Hahn had come into his position as a means of sating Tralus' population's general desire to manage their own affairs without the interference of the President, Burkhart is not surprised that Hahn is on the fence where lending the FIve World's aid to the NRA, even in as limited a fashion as Gaultieri's proposed special forces unit would amount to; memory of the First Order's attacks on the Five Worlds as it sought to, and succeeded in ending the Corellian Coalition's existence is still fresh in everyone's memory, and Burkhart has the sense that Hahn is reluctant to be involved in any venture that might bring the First Order's attention back to the Five Worlds. Hahn is more receptive to Gaultieri's idea of having Jedi Watchmen, selected from the academy on Corellia, stationed on each of the Five Worlds, however, and so Burkhart settles for simply speaking about the special forces unit that would be detached to fight with the NRA in hypothetical terms. With Corellia and Selonia, as yet, the only two of the Five Worlds to support the idea of the unit, the former putting forward a candidate for a pilot while the latter selects an airborne infantry specialist, Burkhart, who has refrained from lending his own support to the idea only so that the Double Worlds can present a united front when the time comes to make their decision, proposes that Hahn, should he end up agreeing with the proposal, source a slicer for the unit while Talus will select a candidate skilled in demolitions.

Dearic Starport
His rucksack at his feet, CDF Sergeant Heini Nusken, a 35 year old human native of Talus and career sapper that has been selected to join up with the special forces unit that Diktat Gaultieri has been putting together, waits for the line of passengers boarding the line-operated small passenger ship (SSP) that will be taking him to Selonia to meet and train with the other members of the unit to move again after the boarding agent finishes dealing with a disgruntled Quarren passenger that is apparently not happy with his seat being changed or whatever has him gesticulating and shouting as though taking personal offense at the universe inconveniencing him with something that Heini is willing to bet is trivial.
Shaking his shaggy head when the Quarren, huffing as he comes to some kind of arrangement with the boarding agent, finally elects to grace the SSP with his presence and boards while muttering something bound to be rude in Quarrenese, Heini picks up his rucksack and slings it over his shoulder and takes a few steps forward to wait as a Bith couple with three hyperactive and screaming little Bith jumping and running around that he is willing to bet end up sitting somewhere near to his seat try and present their tickets to the boarding agent while corralling their younglings and trying to get them aboard the ship. If it wasn't for the tokes of Ossus Kush he managed to indulge in before making his way into the bustling starport, Heini imagines he would be feeling more annoyed than he is, and is glad that he has a generous supply of the weed stashed in a cleverly constructed faux can of shaving cream in his kit even though the impressively bushy brown beard he sports suggests that it has been awhile since he and a razor have made an acquaintance.
As predicted, the Bith couple and their bouncing, chattering younglings are in seats right behind his, and as one of said young Bith kicks the back of his seat, Heini pops a pair of earplugs in and lowers a sleeping mask conveniently provided by a stewardess that looks like she is wishing she could have been assigned any other section of the SSP over his eyes and hopes the Kush will enable him to sleep through most of the trip to Selonia.

President Burkhart Trauner lifts his hands as though surrendering after Diktat Gaultieri has convinced him, after citing the personal contributions of Tralus, Selonia and Drall's leaders to her one-woman campaign to fund the acquisition of ships and parts from the CEC to be donated to the New Rebel Alliance's cause, as well as the fact that he is one of the wealthiest citizens of the Five Worlds due to the success of the investment group he established and is still the chairman of, laughs and tells the holographic image of Gaultieri, "Alright, alright, you've convinced me. How much do you need to finish paying off the CEC's bill for what they weren't willing to donate themselves? Whistling as Sabina gives him the figure, adding with a grin that the amount is probably less than his quarterly bonus will be, Trauner says, It's a little bit more than that, but, he sighs, I'll survive, the statement earning him an amused laugh from the Diktat. I'll have the funds sent to you shortly."
After ending the holo-conference with Gaultieri, Burkhart comms his personal accountant and arranges to have the funds the Diktat requested sent to the account she had set up with the CEC to pay off the remaining balance owed on the impressive bill she had run up while acquiring the ships and parts she had promised to donate to the NRA.

Dearic Capital - Office of the President
Jedi Master Kamau Oladoyinbo, a 45 year old Korun Jedi Guardian sent from Corellia to act as the Jedi Watchman of Talus presents himself at the Office of the President after making the journey from Corellia in his B-wing fighter. Tall and powerfully built with dark close cropped hair and a neatly trimmed beard, Kamau has a lighthearted disposition many find surprising as it is at odds with his frequently somber expression.
As he waits for the President to conclude the meeting he currently holding with some of his staff, Kamau rests his chin in his hand as he looks out onto the capital city and wonders if it it's beauty conceals - as Talus' past history would suggest, higher levels of corruption, scandal and hidden violence than most cities of its kind - as much ugliness as it often has in the past. Corellia's Diktat has vouched for President Trauner, making Kamau less apprehensive about meeting him than he otherwise might be; a warrior at heart, Kamau has little love for most politicians, but as Gaultieri has demonstrated her dedication to causes any Jedi would admire, hopes the President proves to be cut from the same cloth. And, Kamau thinks with an inward chuckle, if Tralus is as rife with crimes of one kind or another as it has been in the past, at least he will not be idle here in his new role.

Pouring a glass for himself as he waits for the Jedi Master's reply, Brukhart says, Before I forget, welcome to Talus. With a chuckle, Burkhart admits, You know, Master, I have very little idea what I'm supposed to do with a Jedi Watchman even after Sabina explained you're here to be our guardian, whatever that means. Holding up a hand to prevent the Korun from interrupting, Trauner smiles as he explains, Oh, I'm not saying I'm not grateful for any help you can give us, I just want to make sure I don't end up wasting your time by not having a complete understanding of what it is I need to do to make sure you're doing what you've come to do. So, Trauner grins after taking a sip of his drink, why don't you tell me a bit about how you think we can make sure your time here is spent in the way you'd like it to be spent?"

Kamau smiles as he nods to accept the drink Trauner offers, "Please, and then adds a, Thank you, when welcomed to Tralus. Taking a sip of his whiskey after Trauner pours it for him, Kamau salutes the President with the glass and, as Trauner has expressed some confusion about what a Jedi Watchman does, explains, No, no, I understand how the role of Watchman might be a bit confusing, especially when it has not been in common use for some time now. In essence, I'm here to help you, CorSec and the CDF in any way I can, whether it be aiding in the investigation of crimes or apprehension of criminals, or advising you in matters you might feel the need for an impartial opinion, or, in the event Talus were to become involved in an armed conflict of some kind, even fighting alongside the CDF's forces."
After taking another drink of his whiskey, Kamau thinks of a simpler explanation and says, "Think of me as a jack-of-all-trades at your disposal to use in any way you see fit, adding, as for how I'd like to spend my time, I am a Jedi Guardian, so, he grins, prefer fighting evil in its many forms to politics, adding a shrug as he says, But don't let that keep you from asking for advice should you ever find yourself in need of any, political or otherwise."
