Actually located a Kilometer away from the actual Center they were in fact linked by a underground tunnel of duracrete. The training rooms themselves were a mix of both plain rooms and wide open spaces. The rooms held every type of weapon depending on the type of training you were looking to do. While the outside had a small forest as well as clearing and even a artificial river. To the outside observer it would appear like a domed building similar to a football stadium of today only three times as large.

... and thats when he said, thats no Bantha thats my wife! I guess you could say that Xeonon was the mans Master but that doesnt mean he couldnt have fun with him. Especially considering they were once again going to be walking into deaths door once more. Leaving the dimly lit corridor the entered into the training rooms and Xeonon took the two of them towards the room that had Proxy droids that would simulate anyone. A room full of them. All ready to fight them to the death. Of course that would come later, what Xeonon wanted to know was something about 1 on 1 stuff. So tell me, how goes your training. Not the daily routine, the actual training. I know I should have been there to watch and add my two cents but I have had a few engagements as of late. Yeah like making deals with the Devil and enjoying the lavish life of a key figure in the empire.

He laughed at Xeonon's joke despite not quite understanding why it was funny. He honestly didn't get most of his humor, he didn't know if his jokes just weren't funny or if the usual puntchline just went over his head, but that was not important right now. As they arived at the training room he took a deep breath. He had spent more tiem in this room since arriving then he would have liked. His body almost started to hurt just from entering the room.
"Well to be honest, both good and bad. The physical combat, well at least I think im getting better at. The force part, not so much..."
Taping into the force had not been a problem, the problem was control, whenever he tried to do something it never seemed like it did exactly what he wanted.

Well that one was actually one he picked up from one of his friends over on the pirate side of life. Nodding Xeonon turned around and thought for a second, for him it was easy at first to use the force. He used it out of desperation and he was self taught, because of this it was sort of difficult to get into the heads of someone else. So as you know, the force is a weapon, a tool; something to be respected but a tool none the less. We use it to our advantage rather than thinking about it and meditating about it like our Jedi counter parts. Turning around he faced Calvin again In this case it may make sense that we follow them for at least this time. A while ago a Shard one of the oldest beings in the galaxy taught me how to tap into the force in its purest form and control it.
What I need you to do is just sit down and get comfortable... and meditate. Draw into yourself without any of the anger hate love nothing. Focous on one thing, nothing at all. Just reced into your minds eye until you see the force. Its different for everyone what they see but from what I understand a well or a pond is something. Also some people may encounter a being blocking the source of "water" that is just your mind over come that if you encounter it and jump in or have a drink and then command the force. After that we fight.

Calvin nodded and sat down cross legged, adjusting himself until he felt as comfortable as he was going to get. He then did as Xeonon had said and closed his eyes. After his eyes were closed however he really was not sure what he was supposed to do. Xeonon said to focus on nothing... which seemed to be much easier said then done. Besides the fact that just sitting there one thing or another would pop into his mind, he felt an itch on his face, his back hurt a little bit, I wonder what the color blue smells like, things like that; it was hard to focus on nothing since even the concept of nothing was something in of itself.
It took Calvin a few minuets but after a little while he was able to shut out all of his other thoughts and ideas and just focus, on nothing at all. He just concentrated inword and for the next few minuets all he in his minds eye was what his actual eyes saw, the black of the back of his eyelids. However after a little while longer something changed. He started to see something, it looked like a faint shimmering in the distance. He adjusted his concentration from nothing to what he was seeing in front of him. Slowly the shimmering came closer to him, or he was getting closer to the shimmering, he wasn't sure. As he and the shimmering got closer to each other he could start to make out what it was. It looked like a great river with the purest water you could imagine radiating pure light. The closer he got to the river the larger it seemed until it took up all of his vision.
Calvin continued moving closer until he not only got to the river but started travailing above it. It was as if he was soaring over the river as it meandered on through his minds eye. It was a little while longer, he did not know how long, it could have been seconds, or it could have been hours that he came across something odd. There was a large object in the path of the river and after the object, there was nothing, just infinite blackness. His minds eyes raced to the object which besides the word object he could not describe. Hesitantly he reached out for the object. When he placed his hand on it he felt something, a feeling that the best he could describe as liberation. The object that was in the path of the river slowly dematerialised and a torrent of water followed in the wake of its collapse. Calvin watched as the river rushed past where the object had stood and continued on its course streaking through the infinite blackness in front of him.
It was then that his eyes snapped open. He was not sure how much time had passed since he had started meditating and actually, he didn't feel much diffrent then he had when he had started. He however did think that he understood a few things better. He thought he knew what he was doing wrong when he had tried to use the force in the past. He didn't have to redirect the river, he only needed to find the path of least resistance. He stood up looking much more confident then when he had sat down.
"Alright, Im ready."

Not much time had passed at all, a handful of minutes the whole time Xeonon had his arms crossed over his chest as he stood there and smiled. It was odd that the native Nabooian was here a world usually attributed to the Republic had fathered hopefully one of the strongest warriors in the Empire. Finally just as Xeonon was starting to get tired Calvin was finished. Good then catch He said fast without giving the man an opportunity to prepare himself, while lobbing his lightsaber into the sky where it would crash violently to the ground unless caught.

He was taken off guard by the abruptness of Xeonons action. He spent a moment partially confused but after looking at the lightsaber that Xeonon had lobed into the air he immediately stuck his hand out at it... and nothing happened. He frowned knowing that if a few seconds the wepon would crash into the ground. He then closed his eyes and instead of trying to make the saber come to him he just imagined it in his hand. A split second later he felt the device zip into his hand and he warped his hand around it making sure not to drop it. He almost laughed, he actually did it!

When he saw he precious blade get grabbed telekentically Xeonon screamed like a fangirl internally, clapping his hands he motioned for his blade to be returned to him by the force. Very good Calvin! You have just taken your first no like 5th step into a larger world. Now in the wise words of an old Jedi, size matters not. This only applies to a certain extent but do what you did there and you can do most everything.
Walking around he wondered what he should do next, after all like public speaking this did not come easy. He had two options, blade work or the force. Both of which were going to be extremely important in the coming days if they were both going to survive. Now that you have the basics shall we continue to learn them? Perfect them through practice.

He was still surprised that he was able to actually able to move the saber with the force. Never mind the fact that he was actually able to call it to him and actually catch it. He nodded listining to Xeonon's cryptic sounding advice. "size matters not" What kind of advice was that? Of course size mattered. An x wing could not take out a star destroyer...
Ya... Lets continue.

Well you see, Telekinesis is a staple of our order specifically levitation. The art of making something float is one we must all master. What Xeonon left out was that he was actually terrible at almost all aspects of moving objects in his mind, it was just something he could not do without extreme concentration. When most people found it easy to move several things at once he found it hard to move even one thing. So with that little tid bit locked away we shall continue you, take a look around the room around you and try to lift one thing then another and another. No need to start big, find small things until you work yourself up to it. I believe in you. Man if he wasnt careful it could turn into one of those montages with them training.

Calvin looked around the room noticing a few small objects that he might be able to lift with the force. Honestly he was just looking for the smallest objects in the room. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He could almost see the few objects even though his eyes were shut. He did what he did before and one by one a few small objects around the room started to float in the air, boobing up and down like they were floating in water. With every object it became harder and after 6 of them he stooped. He diffident think he could hold any more up and the strain was starting to show on his face. But he was able to keep those six objects floating.

Xeonon couldn't help but feel elated at this, it was truly a spectacle to watch someone use the force for the first time under their control. He of all people knew the dangers of using the force to much to fast, it could lead to exhaustion or worse a euphoric state were your body would literally burn apart. Very good, we can stop this for now. You have the basics of it down from here everything is going to be harder but far more rewarding. There are dangers of using the force to much so know your limits but exercise it and your limits will be pushed farther and farther. Think of it like working out a muscle, the more you work it the stronger it gets but overworking it can be just as painful.
So we can stop for now, take a breather and such then we shall practice some swordmanship then rest before the big day. Savvy?

He sighed in releaf when he was told he could stop, letting the few objects he had made levitate drop to the ground. He realized now that his breathing had quickened and he wiped a bit of sweat off of his brow. He hadn't expected maintaining using the force would be that hard. He nodded and took a deep breath. Ya a breather sounded good right about now.
"Uh... ya.. savvy. "

Good hopefully the whole thing of dont over use the force had set in. He wasnt kidding about the dangers of over using it, it was an amazing spectacle to watch not so much to have happen though. Your feel alive and bright like the sun but at the same time full of pain as your body steams from the force, your vision goes all fucked up as you begin to see through the veil. Then death. He had experienced it only once and it was not something he wished to have happen again.
Walking over to a mini fridge that had just happened to be in the room Xeonon bent over and took out two of the bottles inside. To call it water would be an understatement for in addition to the H2O it was also full of stims and such that could help grow strong men and women. Tossing one to Calvin Xeonon opened the other one and took a big gulp. Once we are done this we can start, so tell me Calvin; life as a Knight, whats it like?

He took a sip of the "water". it taster strange but after using the force like that, he was just glad to have anything cold to drink. He nodded to Xeonon. Straight combat he had been getting alright, up untill now the force was what was giving him trouble.
"Well... Its diffrent then I had thought... Harder I guess. I guess im just still adjusting, its, well its nothing like my old life."

Ah yes Calvins old life, something he knew little or nothing of despite things he could guess. It was one of those things about Xeonon; he was smart as fuck but he was not willing to pry into a mans past until he willingly gave it to him. You could say that it came from him wanting to keep his own past hidden beneath the rug. Well at least you didnt have to go out on a life altering and dangerous mission on your first day here. You get trained harder here than you will most likely face out in the real world. Its over training you so nothing seems hard. Pretty much you have to be the best of the best of the best. Sir. You know you can talk about your past if you ever need to. I might not be a space monk but I do like to listen.

Standing in front of the recruits, both Force users and normal soliders the droid stood there proudly. There might be hope you lot yet. Walking in front of them the YVH calculated the distance and amount of running they should be doing. Square up, you are running 10 kilometers go go go. At that the instructors began to run beside the men and women. The course was pretty straight forward, the length of the building up and down rolling hills the last stretch of it through the artificial river.
As the men neared the first of the hills a challenge came upon them. Something new, usually they would have to run the whole thing but today the brass wanted to check something out so as they neared the top of a hill something new was there. A flag. Triangular and bright orange the group would come to a stop for 1 minute. The robot disguised and an ancient General stood beside one of the empires wheeled vehicles. The objective is simple, if you can get the flag from the top of the pole you get a free ride back. The force is not allowed, so do not even think about it you have one minute.
As all of this was happening the eye in the sky so to speak was watching. There was both a hover droid that was invisible to the naked eye recording everything, but in addition people were watching. Masters for the Knights looked down at those training, gauging them looking at their strength and their weaknesses. How they would break them down and build them back together brick by brick. Then there were the normal instructors, those who had a day off but a working day. They watched the soliders intently all from a room high above

I looked at the pole for a second. There was little chance that I would be able to get a good enough hold on the thing to reach the top. Bending the pole also wasn't an option, as it looked like it was durasteel. I could have tried weakening the pole with a weapon, but at the moment the only thing any of the recruits here had was the armour they were wearing. ... & the other recruits.
The pole wasn't too tall, maybe two, three times as tall as the largest recruit. A quick glance around put his best chance at a thin but tall human with short brown hair. Locking eyes with him, I asked him a direct question.
-Marcos (to Titan) I have a way to get the flag, do you trust me?

The Knights were scratching their heads as the rest of the recruits raced towards the top of the hill, and towards the pole. Once they reached the pole, they promptly realized they had no idea what to do next, and started to mill about just a few meters from the base of the pole. A few of them made half-hearted suggestions to get the pole, but most were shot down. Everyone wanted a free ride back, everyone wanted to get that flag and get back to base in time for lunch, and no one was willing to give up that chance for another. Even the Imperial Knights, without the Force, were left in the same boat as the rest of the troop, acutely aware however of the Masters watching them from above. For them, it was less about getting a ride back, and much more about impressing the Masters watching, but at it's heart it was the same issue. Jealousy.
Titan was in a similar boat, but he had one key difference. Like the rest of the recruits, he had sprinted to the top of the hill, caught up in the crowd's mindset. Unlike the rest of the crowd, he didn't care about getting a free ride back, or impressing some distant Master. A free ride, in his mind, was robbing him of another chance to improve himself, to test himself against the Knights. As for the Masters, what did he care if some distant Force-user patted him on the back? He wanted to show up the Knights, show them that even with their Force, there were still things that they couldn't do, things he could trump them at. He smiled at himself. Whatever happened to not drawing too much attention?
A Zabrak recruit, a giant of a man, snapped Titan out of his inner thoughts. So the man had a plan? Well, may as well hear it, not like he was coming up with any brilliant solutions.
Let's do it. What's the plan?

I can't help but grin as the man agrees to help. Reaching out, I grab his belt with one hand & collar piece with the other.
-Marcos Be ready to grab it as you go up.
Crouching slightly, I give a mighty heave. I use the hand on his collar to guide the throw, providing most of the lift with the belt hand. The toss would be close. Enough with the combined benefits of our combined height & my own strength, the man would probably only just have one chance to grab the flag. I doubted I would have time to set up a second shot, luckily my aim seemed to be good from down here.
