She had guts he had to give it to her.
With his mind busy holding her in place he did not see what she was doing until he did not have much time to respond. Not enough time. As the lightsaber streaked towards him, he struck his breast plate. Had he been the usual opponent you face in the galaxy Panno would have been bisected. Instead he grabbed the saber with his left hand, and crushed the blade. Distorting the feed back, his crushgaunt shorted out the lightsaber taking it out of play for the time being. It would come back unharmed, and it would teach everyone here something. Dont show all your tricks right away.
Now that he was distracted his attention wavered, the grip on her legs dissipated and ended.
On the plus side your free. Downside you dont have a weapon.
If I understood that right that is. I am a little drunk tonight.
Showing his teeth in a smile he attacked her, while the others attacked Marcus. His own blade sweeping low to cut her legs, Marcus caught the blow before it landed. Bending down as he did so, one of the blades would still be headed towards Anyas back. The other he caught on his gauntlet short circuiting the blade for the next several minutes.

*Gavin watched as the fight continued on. She wasn't afraid to show the skills she had and the tricks that she had developed. Sometimes, one had no choice but to use them. But no she was unarmed as the next attacks came. He tilted his head with a smirk.*
"What will you do now, Anya?"

The attacks came quick, but it laid out in the perfect format. Marcus took Panno and the other attacker, his saber temporarily down. She could feel the last attack coming. She didn't turn to face him or try to summon her weapon. Focusing the Force through her, she jumped just enough to flipped backwards over the saber. The flip landed her on the other side of Marcus.
Before her attacker had the chance to bring the saber back for another attack, she brought her left foot up to kick him in the side. Using that force to push back, she pushed to her right side with her right foot, letting her body spin. Her right foot came up before coming to her right side again to kick him in the side as well. As her feet planted on the ground, she quickly held out her hand to Panno, releasing a light Force Push, nothing hard just enough to back him up.

After sliding back a few feet Panno looked back up. First to the attackers nodding than to Anya. Despite the scowl on his face he clapped. Although due to the gauntlets it sounded kind of padded.
Your right, the force is yours to command. There is still much room for improvement but you did well.
Tossing her back her lightsaber a moment of chastise fell upon him.
This is more than just a tool though. This is your life. Sure you have the force but if you over tax yourself with it then
He dragged his thumb over his neck signalling death
I dont mean to scare you, but I have seen it. Its not a very nice thing to see someone's mind break from overuse of the Force.
As he spoke, he walked closer to Anya and Marcus, heading into the middle of the "circle" as did John another Imperial Knight. It was their turn to be in the middle defending. If the 15 year old was deadly as she seemed this would be an interesting fight fore sure.

Anya caught the saber in her right hand and let it settle to her side. She listened to Panno's words, though in her mind, she scoffed slightly. After learning what she had from Gavin she felt he didn't fully understand her meaning. But the simple truth remained, despite what she knew and how fast she could learn it, Panno had experience that far out weighed her knowledge. She took a deep breath, letting his words sink in and clearing her own mind. She couldn't let herself feel she knew more than the one teaching her. If she did, there would be no need i learning it now..
But she didn't wish to remain quiet. She felt pride in the things Gavin had taught her and wished those words to be said. "True, the Force is mine to command, making it another weapon in my arsenal, but that is not what I meant. My body is as much a weapon to use as the Force and a saber. However, as you said, the Force can be exhausted, but also can a blade be taken. If one trains to fight solely upon the sword, how quickly will they fall if they cannot stand without it? No matter the case, one should not let a battle draw out too long, for then everything will begin to fail."
With her words spoken, she ignited her blade. Now she was on the offensive, however, it was different from her training. Just as defending as an Imperial Knight required teamwork, so did their offense. She couldn't just attack as she would against Gavin, nor follow her normal progression of battle. Everything was going to be different.
Not thinking on it any longer, she looked to Marcus, then the third Knight on her other side. Without a second's hesitation, she brought her blade towards Panno, going for a straight jab at his chest. Just before reaching him, she twisted her wrist so that her palm faced up and pulled the saber back so it became a slash to his left around his elbow. It was meant as a deceptive tactic, one that would prevent any power being in the attack. Power wasn't her style as much as speed and fluid movement was. The third Knight came at Panno from behind, bringing his saber in and upwards cut, straight through Panno's middle. Marcus came in against John, going for a upwards diagonal slash from lower right to upper left.

There was wisdom in what she said, obviously Gavin had not been lacking in her tutelage when it came to such things. Despite what the other Knights thought about the two guests he was impressed by them. Due to the "holier than thou" the Imperial Knights had been taught many considered themselves better than other Force Users, despite the fact they often were looked down upon by the others.
With his awareness out he felt the ebbing of the force. Each heartbeat of the others around him was like an earthquake, their footwork a canon. Opening himself up to the force he no longer needed the use of his eyes, instead he felt what was happening. This way he knew the way the third Knight would attack would fail by his hand. Taking a knee, his silver lightsaber was activated so the blade was backwards, and caught the mans blade at the hight of Johns hip. Although his blade was in his "bad" hand he still had perfect control over it.
Above his head John saved him from a rather bad case of beheading. Facing the same way as Panno he thrusted forward so his blade was below the other Silver blade and Anyas gold. Raising his arm he caught both, and brought them up high over his head. Once that problem was out of the way he slashed downwards to Marcuses blade and used the force to shove his hand away while hitting their blades.
Getting back to his feet Panno held his lightsaber vertically, the curved blade giving off a slight humming noise.
Is that the best the three of you can do?

Anya took a step back as her saber was pushed into the air. Deep down, she wished she knew the ones fighting with her. They knew each other which could work well for them, but it left her guessing hoping to go with a good flow. She also hoped that the others were just as skilled as flowing with her. Either way, this form of fighting was a work of art, something that had to truly be worked at.
Taking a quick step back, she jumped back in with a two handed swing at Panno's left leg. Despite the grip, she left her left hand loose, ready to move it should a good opportunity arose. Provided such came, she'd use her left hand to hold the wrist of the opponent blocking her to keep their saber in place as well as a means to correct and remanuever quickly for another strike at either opponent based upon her position.
As she charged Panno Marcus and the third Knight turned their attention to John, Marcus slashing at his left arm at shoulder length while the third Knight went low, going for the right knee a slash coming from each side.

Mixing things up Panno blocked Anyas slash, not defending John. Meeting the swing for his leg with a downward slash the silver and gold clashed making sparks fly. Despite having chastised her for going on the offensive not minutes prior he did much the same thing here. With his right hand he slapped out towards Anyas wrist (blade hand). Moving fast he hoped to well slap her wrist, his only goal to cause immediate pain. It would only sting, much like getting stung by a bee. Or at least normally. He hoped to take her out of the fight for a moment. Pouring his will into the strike should he manage to hit her, he would use a force power called Crucitorn on her.
Basically focusing on the wound he intended to increase the pain she felt. What would normally be a nominal pain lasting seconds, would be nearly unbearable for much longer. Although he went the course of action most likely to succeed there was still a chance she could overcome the pain or it not work at all. Such was the way of battle.
John, realising almost to late that Panno was otherwise busy had two people to deal with, coming from two different angles. Jumping up into the air to avoid the slash going for his legs he brought his blade upwards coming from under Marcus's blade. At the same time he kicked backwards hoping to smash the third nameless Knight in the face with his armoured boot.

Anya's left hand left her saber the moment both blades clashed. It was her moment to make her second strike. With John occupied with the other two, Panno was left without another, though it was foolish to think that was all she needed for an advantage. However, Panno was faster and his right hand met her wrist a split second before her left hand met his right wrist. His slap did hurt a bit, only her gloves as a means of protection and it began to be pushed away. She grunted but was about to spin around him when the surge of pain ran through her. Her grunt became louder and though it stopped her for a small moment, things suddenly changed.
A flare of darkness came from her as her emerald eyes quickly turned red, surrounded by an inner and outer ring of yellow. Her grip tightened on her hilt as the Force suddenly surged through her. She didn't lose total control, otherwise the sudden strength would have crushed her lightsaber. The pain fueling her darkness she spun around with Force-enhanced movements, kneeling slightly and brought her right elbow around to nail him to the right side of his lower back, her hand letting go of Panno's wrist to complete the spin and coming to hit him in the same location making for two quick infused strikes.
As John's blade met Marcus's blade, his had nowhere to go but up. Though with the way his strike came before impact pushed it more upper left than straight. This allowed for a swift movement as he brought the saber down to his left at chest height and swung at John again. The third Knight brought his arm up in time to keep the kick from hitting him in the face, though he had no balance and the kick sent him back a few feet before falling onto his back, putting him out for a moment.

The energy in the room seemed to thicken so much one could cut it with a knife. All eyes not currently in the mock duel turned their way. Many wondered what such a dark entity was doing here, one that up until a minute ago had been hidden. Many guffawed as they saw the energy was coming from a 15 year old girl, but the tension was still there. After all it was in the Imperial mandate to hunt down and kill the Sith unless otherwise ordered.
The darkness that surged forward from her was so sudden, so unexpected that Panno did not have time to react to it. That and she had the force fueling her. The first strike he did not even have time to feel before the second one hit. Although the armour helped with some of the pain he knew there was at least going to be bruising. Maybe a cracked rib or two, such was the strength of the blow. His face one of pain, he was going to end this one way or another now.
Now that she was behind him he swung a backwards first at her with his left hand, deactivating the lightsaber as he did so so as to not get in Johns way. The backwards swing, and added strength from the stolen crushgaunt would be enough to send her flying backward should it connect.
Still in the air, Johns balance was out of sink from the kick and he felt Panno helping him out here, as his Inerta righted him much faster than it would have normally he followed through and swung his blade down meeting the Marcus's blade. As the two met, due to the downward momentum and strength John possessed it caused the feedback loop of Marcus's blade to short circuit and turn off. Landing in a crouch John used both hands to send out a Force Push in either direction aiming to send both Imperial Knights far into the air and out of this fight.

Anya had only enough time to bring her hands up to help dull the blow from Panno, the Force returning back to normal around her. she flew back through the air a few feet before landing on her back. As suddenly as the darkness came, it faded without a trace. Her breaths were heavy as she brought her right wrist to her chest and held it with her left. The pain that had fueled just moments ago now resonated in her mind as pain should, not to mention the force of the impact that sent her to the ground. Her eyes opened barely enough to see her saber laying beside her extinguished, then up to Panno, her eyes back to there green.
With the push from John, both Marcus and the other Knight were pushed back, leaving none to attack. Of course, after Anya's display, continuing the battle was the least of anyone's concern.

*Gavin watched as the battle continued on, admiring Anya's ability to adapt to the situation. It wasn't a style that was easy to learn, even for him. Despite not knowing any of the Knights that fought and defended with her, he felt she was doing well otherwise.
However, when the flare of darkness came from her, he cursed under his breath. He had hoped to avoid this effect while training with others. While he had helped her control it to a degree, there was still a bit needed to completely master control. For now, in sudden moments of unexpected pain or surprise, it would rise to aid her, protecting her. Very rarely had he seen these moments to last, going on for only a few moments before her mind was able to catch up. With that, she was usually always left open, trying to comprehend what happened. He was glad they didn't last long, keeping her from falling into the darkness completely.
As the fight brought all attackers to the ground, he moved to Anya's side. Kneeling down, he was glad to feel the darkness had subsided, but put his hand on her head and letting the peaceful flow of his presence help calm her completely. Watching as she closed her eyes, he stood up and took a step back. It would only be a moment before she'd be up and going again as she needed only to catch her breath and focus herself.*

With the fight over everyone kept their distance from the girl. Everyone except Panno who rushed to her side to see if she was okay. Once Gavin was there he slowed however, if anyone knew what was wrong with her it would be him. Slowing down he stood beside where he did once he was done calming her so to speak.
What happened? I havent felt someone that powerful in the darkside since I was on Prakith.
Although the last part of the comment wouldnt make any sense to Gavin it was true. While he was there, some of the fiercest Dark Lords of the Order of the Eye had been there. Bacca, Dragus and Kaan being just some of the dark lords present. The fact that Anya at just 15 had the same raw power as they did astounded him.
The more pertinent question being, will she be okay?
Although he had hit her hard he did not mean physically. The Imperial Knight was more worried about her mental and emotional state. Someone does not just get that far into the darkside and not feel any adverse effects.

*Gavin nodded, his gaze never leaving Anya.* "She will be fine. She just needs a moment to catch her breath. This isn't the first time its happened, and I'm sure it won't be the last."
*Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath before turning to Panno. He didn't like telling others of his or anyone's past. However, he had sensed the sudden attention the Knights gave when the darkside flared up. However, it was necessary this time to explain to avoid any issues later.* "Anya has a strong and natural affinity for the darkness. This is mostly due to her heritage. Over a hundred and fifty years ago, her ancestor, Tyra Syen, had turned to the Sith after having a problem with the Jedi. While with them, her master's brother injected her with a new type of poison, one that affected her down to a cellular level. In the end, it turned her blood black and kept her from stepping back into the light, causing great pain if she did. She was cure, however, that darkness stayed with her. Tyra's husband also had an affinity for darkness. For him, though, it was an uncontrollable force, which kept him from ever trying to harness it.
*Taking another breath, he turned to Anya.* "That darkness is apart of Anya. She had been an orphan since she was six month old, until I found her five years ago. When she was five, a small dispute took place with one of the children. Petty in reality, but to such a young child, it was so much more. That darkness responded to her emotions and her ability in the Force was revealed then along with the darkside. The next five years, she was left alone, shunned by the others. It was surprising that she hadn't been consumed by it. Now, it responds only in the most trying of times, mostly when something really unexpected happens or faced with great pain. I'd almost say it protects her."

Ill be sure not to hit her again thats for sure.
Listening to the young girls family history shed some light on it for him. He could sympathize with her. He was also ostracised by his peers, and yet here they both were.
Bringing his hand up to his bald head he rubbed it before massaging his neck for a second.
You know, some people here might look down on her for this. Most actually. Only a select few truly understand what it is like to keep that primal part of yourself at bay. It might be best for her and everyone if she stays out of the way for a day or two. I dont expect anyone to come after her, you are both guests here and the other Knights would never do anything to tarnish the image of our Order. I could be wrong though, if you want I can get someone trustworthy to watch out for her.
In truth he was worried, but tried to down play it. Unless ordered otherwise many of the younger, inexperienced Knights might try to do something to her. Both in order to prove themselves to their Master, but to their friends. To many of the new recruits bought into Kriegs PR campaign. Fight the darkness, blah blah blah we are awesome. It was tiresome, but a necessary evil; and eventually that mentality would be beaten out of them. He would make sure to that.
Is this the basis of letting her make her own choices? Light or dark, its her choice not yours.

*Gavin nodded as he spoke about the Knights and the possibility of some coming after her.* "I agree. I sensed their attention turning to her. But you need not worry about needing to watch out for her. As you saw, she won't easily go down. But I'll keep an eye on her. You've done more than enough so far with helping her in her expansion of knowledge. I don't want to have to push the Knights farther than needed, especially in something that will make them uncomfortable.
*He let his eyes close as he thought upon her training and her right to choose.* "The release of darkness you witness is nothing more than instinct, seeming to protect her. I've noticed in her training, as she gets stronger, this happens less and less and for far shorter amounts of time. Soon, it won't appear at all. In time I do plan to help her control her emotions in hopes to better prepare her for the hardships that will come. It'll never fully be enough because you never fully grasp a reality until it happens. Still, I hope to give her the chance to not just fall into darkness. I will teach her to use it as she sees fit, good or bad. In the end, she can truly choose the path she wants knowing the path in front of her. "

It wasn't long before Anya took a deep breath and made her way to her feet. Bending down, she grabbed her saber and put it on her belt, before approaching Panno. Standing a bit in front of him, she bowed. "I am sorry for what happened. I had hoped it would not have shown here. I hope I have not caused a problem."
