Theri looked at the exiting droids indignantly, before bringing his watchful gaze back to Jud's single ruby eye. "If I let your droids go?" He started in a low voice, as the first hovercart started past him. "Will you let the padawans free?"
Jud's posture changed, his arms relaxing against his sides, allowing the tips of his blades to screech against the cold stone floor. "That I would..." Jud answered coolly to Master Theri. "But you would have to stay, and they get to stay if they so wish, Master Jedi." He ended with a grin.
"I'm not going anywhere." Theri grumbled out, his stance hunkering down slightly as he moved aside, allowing the droids to completely pass into the turbolift. "Nel, Joruun, leave now, and don't stop until you've found a member of the Praxeum that you know." Theri ordered, as he looked to the two padawans with fatherly compassion.

Sitting at his usual spot he cant be seen by others in the library because of the amount of books and tomes he has stacked up on his work desk. Kirito flips to the marked page of a large thick book and begins reading. He reads the hand written notes left on the sides of the pages by his Master. After 50 or so pages Kirito begins to see a pattern in the notes. He knew his Master had been tracking Sith for the High Council on Coruscant, Kirito had even been along on many of the hunts. But this was something entirely, these notes where not just about tracking down sith lords and bringing them to justice...this was eradication. Kirito knew of his Master's late theories of the annihilation of the Sith, but even in there talks it was expressed that the darkside could never be cleansed from the galaxy. Kirito rubs his eyes and continues his research....
He is suddenly startled by an attendant droid nudging his arm
" Jedi Ozuna, I do apologize for the intrusion but per my programming you are need of a break"
Kirito looks past the droid and at the terminal across the library, he had been there for 10 hours. As he moves to motion the droid away the attendant points at a section in the book.
"Your Master had a query about this same reference. If I may be of service you cannot find the rest of these works here in this library or in any other Jedi installation. Rule context has them deemed forbidden, you have to go to the maker in order to uncover the rest
The droid rolls away chattering to itself, Kirito had finally got a lead. Whatever his Master was looking for he wasn't able to find it here. which means he had to go find another source of knowledge. Kirito knows he wouldn't have gone to another Jedi Temple and no planets public libraries would contain this information, which means only two options. Private collector or a Sith temple. Kirito begins charting all known Sith temples in the galaxy and then categorizes them from use and then to status. With many of the temples being listed for military use or destroyed Kirito searches for more clues. Knowing his Master wouldn't risk heading into Sith controlled space, Kirito looks at the all the abandoned temples on his star map. Three temples become highlighted, Kirito saves the coodinates to his personal data pad and the erases all traces of his work. He orders library attendants to return all the books and tomes he had after he rips out all the pages with his Master's writings on them. Kirito didn't know what his Master was searching for, and that didn't matter to him. All that mattered was finding him and now he had a place to start.
Kitio tabs his wrist comm
"Ionna fire up, and set these coordinates. We have work to do"
Kirito heads to the hanger

* Entering the massive library that was the pride of the Jedi on Ossus, Aeryn finds the nearest research console and types in a few commands. The screen blinks a few times then provides a reference number to him. Printing out the number, Aeryn makes his way to the upper levels of the library where the ancient texts and tomes where kept. After almost 2 hours, he finally finds what he was looking for. Taking the tome he proceeds back down to the mid level of the library where the records of past jedi where kept. Aeryn finds the logs and bio-entries on the two Jedi he needed to research and then heads to the private research chambers where he begins his reading.

*As time goes by, Aeryn is unphased as he delves deeper and deeper into his research. He had been at it for a better part of 12 hours now and still hadn't found the answers he was seeking. Leaning back in his chair, Aeryn lets out a deep exhale as he rubs his eyes for a brief moment. There was no way the trail would have gone cold here, there had to be something he was missing. Stretching slightly. Aeryn reaches out to the force letting it fill him. Lifting his right hand over the books and tomes and scrolls he had assembled on the desk, he closes his eyes letting the force guide him. The letters on the pages before him begin to glow and rearrange as the force interacts with them, a hidden secret of old before the use of holocrons became more prevalent. Aeryn then opens his eyes feeling a bit exhausted for he hadn't had to use the more intrinsic ways of the force in some time. He then reads the new script and after a few minutes finds the answers he was seeking. Stacking up the scrolls, books and tomes, Aeryn uses force combustion causing them all to sudden;y be ablaze. Aeryn walks out of the library as the emergency droids funnel in to extinguish the fire leaving only a pile of ash. *

Jaecyn walks in to another section of the library to gather some information. He checks the security logs along the way, and noticed that just recently there was a small fire reported in by the few emergency droids that were in the complex. He decided to go take a look, saving the research for later. He took the walk over to where the incident was reported, to find out that some scrolls and books had been cremated.
No terribly big deal, the originals were safeguarded in a vault requiring Grandmaster or Siridar to personally permit and be present to access. Artisans made authentic recreations for public review, and the contents were digitized for regular backups, since a lot of the scrolls and books were really quite old and needed to be kept in very specific conditions. He would have new copies rendered to replace what was lost. Still, Jaecyn decided to look around, and investigate a little.

*The staff at the Ossus Praxeum were gracious, seeing to it that Aerandir and his family were properly guided through the facility so that they wouldn't lose their way. The trio had spent their first day there mostly relaxing, touring the historic Praxeum's various facilities, mostly for learning's sake. Mina and Michelle both had seemed fascinated by the facility, but for entirely different reasons. For Michelle, it was a source of knowledge, of history, and she even felt a little humbled within these halls. For Mina, she was in awe of the architecture, having grown up six of her seven years in rather primitive structures to escape notice of the Sith, Wookiee architecture notwithstanding.
They had fellowshipped with Jedi of various ages and positions, both girls absorbing any information given to them. Michelle would often converse with them herself and even complete sentences at points, whereas Mina continued to be completely silent; a few had of course attempted to elicit a verbal response from her, but they met with no success.
The second day they had wasted no time in setting out for the Great Jedi Library, adjacent to the Praxeum. The three of them took a moment to stand still and appreciate its design and pure significance before heading inside. Once more, they were helped by a courteous librarian staff team, who gladly volunteered to lead them through the establishment and talk of its history and importance. Michelle had many questions and Aerandir was pleased at her ravenous mind, though he had to admit feeling a sense of urgency; the crystal begged to be further enriched.
Aerandir attempted to excuse himself to leave the girls to their own curiosities, but not only did Mina not wish to be separated, Michelle practically demanded to be able to watch his meditations, what went into these "purification rituals" he'd come to all them. So he allowed them and headed deeper within the Library, within the very vaults of knowledge themselves. This became a momentary distraction, as all three of them reveled in what few unique artifacts and troves of knowledge remained, then he found a comfortable place in the midst of the treasures.
He then sat cross-legged upon the ground. So did the girls. He smiled at the repeated gesture, as it was unnecessary, but nevertheless, he went straight into his meditations without an explanation. His eyes closed and his mind cleared, allowing only the flow of the Force through him, from the universe, from this place, from the history all around him. Like a river it coursed through his being, and the Dantari crystal answered, extricating itself from his pocket and hovering in the air before him; he heard a soft gasp from Mina.
He channeled the Force through the crystal, focusing it, attuning it further to himself and to the Ashla flowing through him. After having done this twice already, it became simpler each time, and the crystal charged and burned even more brightly in the Force; stronger still was its connection to its new master, but it would not be quite ready for use in a lightsaber yet...*
"Got whiter," *Mina commented, causing the corner's of Aerandir's lips to curl into a smile.
But he still did not break from his ritual just yet, for he too had to be enriched within the flow of the Force, grow closer to it, deeper within the light... It truly was a soothing experience, increasingly granting him clarity and peace of mind. He'd found his patience had increased ever since this spiritual journey had begun; it certainly helped tons, considering the war and the fact that he had both an infant son and a toddler daughter to deal with. Sometimes he caught glimpses of upcoming events, premonitions, fleeting and not immediately recognizable.
Those came to him again now, but the images immediately drew his ire: Soku Ren. He was not alone, but with other figures; the unmistakable white armor of stormtroopers, surrounded by various sets of robes and armor. The scenery was familiar... too familiar.
In fact, it was Ossus's.
His eyes shot open and he was immediately at his feet, snatching the crystal out of the air and tucking it back into his pocket.* "The First Order is coming here," *he announced to the startled girls, who also rose to their feet and followed after him.* "We must fortify this place at once, get defenses set, not let anything through."
*Michelle nodded, understanding immediately, while Mina had a look of surprise and concern. He had to take care of her especially; no one was taking his daughter from him, especially not so soon after she had been rescued from hell. In his mind, he cursed the traitor as he immediately began alerting Library staff of his vision, then they made their way back to the Praxeum to do the same, sending an advanced warning via comms as well as a message for the Council...*

During his small, practically routine look over of a case in the library, Riddick walks up on Aer and his students nonchalantly. After a few paces of walking in the open, he took a moment to speak.
Funny that I should chance upon you, during what should have been a small bout of research. I do not suppose there is a reason you and your students are causing minor commotion.
Riddick stops, just a few paces from Aer, having barely heard what he had said.

* Having sensed a darkness approach, Aeryn had stopped his trek to the communications center and headed back to the library where he knew Ja'Sean had gone to. After a few minutes, Aeryn enters back into the Great Library and finds Ja'Sean talking to some other Jedi. Walking up to them He speaks to Ja'Sean*
" I apologize for my intrusion Raddekh and the disturbance I caused in your Library. I returned to Ossus hoping to eliminate what I believed the First Order are searching for and then leave. "

Riddick turned, and maintaining his somewhat stoic demeanor.
No apology needed. The originals are very well secure, and their recreation for public viewing will be delayed until this upcoming affair has passed. Until then, I am sure my people can easily keep this First Order at bay.
Riddick had received an encrypted communication from the Ferrin Sha, indicating that there was a ship in orbit that had moved into a station-keeping position in orbit, and had powered up its weapons. He had answered back that the fleet was cleared to engage if this ship did anything stupid.

"Are you certain?" *asked one of the Library's guard captains, her voice sounding merely curious rather than concerned as she marched the halls with Aerandir.*
"Absolutely," *he replied with a nod.* "I know 'Soku Ren,' one who would wipe out the Jedi out of some petty grudge, but not without extracting valuable information first. Which is why the Library is his target sooner than the Praxeum."
*The woman nodded and lifted her datapad, keying out a few commands and communications with the rest of the Jedi spread throughout the Library and the Praxeum.* "Nevertheless, I won't leave the Praxeum unguarded," *she commented.*
"Nor would I ask you to. I wouldn't be surprised if they attempted a diversion there, but they'll be after the Library primarily. We'll just have to make sure not to fall for such a trap."
"Understood." *She glanced down with concern at Mina, who tailed her father along with Michelle.* "And your child?"
*At last, Aerandir stopped and turned, looking into the captain's eyes with a gaze somehow more serious than it had been a moment ago.* "Keep her safe, with all the other younglings. We will protect her—and all of them—with just as much fervor as the Library's knowledge."
*There was only the slightest hint of surprise in the captain's eyes at this notion but she only nodded and turned, beginning to beckon Mina away with her.
Aerandir held up a hand, however, and then knelt down by Mina, putting the other hand on her shoulder and looking into her green eyes.* "Stay hidden and safe with the others, understood? We'll stop this mess and I'll come back for you. We'll get out of here safely, got it?"
*The young girl's concern was palpable. And understandable, considering what she had been through before. But it seemed her faith in her father won out and she nodded, but not before throwing her arms around his neck. He smiled and gently put an arm around her, then released her before sending her off with the captain. She stole many glances behind her as they departed, but once they were gone, Aerandir's attention was forward again.*
"Let's go, Michelle."
*The teenage Padawan nodded, replying,* "Right," *before she followed her brother to the front entrance of the Library, where many Jedi and defenses had already been set, preparing to meet the coming attackers. From the reports he had heard, the First Order was already here and making a landing; concerning that they had punched through orbit so quickly. Had Aerandir not received his premonition, who knows how unprepared they would have been.
His hand clutched the crystal in his pocket, and it almost seemed as though a small sliver of the light crept into his being at this. He then looked to the skies, fully prepared to fight back this evil...*

*The march from the landing site to the Library was disciplined, quiet, focused. The only noise came from their footsteps, or the walkers accompanying them. Weapons were drawn and at the ready; Soku Ren held his curved hilt in hand but kept it inactive for now. The hilt had seen modification lately: The handguard was now detachable in an emergency. Shortsightedness, he begrudgingly admitted, not having implemented that before, but the duel on Etti had enlightened him, and he had since corrected this error.
The weapon would see good use this day, silencing more Jedi filth and removing more obstacles from the path of the First Order. Of course, he reminded himself, this was technically a secondary objective; the primary goal was to raid and gather as much information and knowledge as they could. But getting there would certainly require removing certain obstacles from his path...
But as they drew closer, a presence entered his mind. Two of them, strikingly familiar... So, the Force had chosen to bring them together once more? Very well; perhaps this time Soku would be able to remove one of the First Order's greatest obstacles—and his own. He had not realized his pace had quickened, but he slowed once more as he became aware, falling back into a steady rhythm along with the rest of the military.
The Library at last came into sight, a grand zigurrat, to be sure. What knowledge it held... If history had gone differently, perhaps it would have been his own seat, and the knowledge within put to true use.
His orange blade rent the air, Thriesa continuing to march behind him. The Jedi would no doubt be prepared and ready to fight, but the larger artillery of the First Order had already opened fire, aiming both for the defense cannons and clusters of Jedi and soldiers. All this served to do was draw return fire, but Soku and Thriesa were ready; the frontlines primed their shielding, deflecting the sparse lighter fire that came their way. Soku's arm moved on its own, parrying bolts, his stride not once breaking, the hardened expression on his face unchanging.*

Unlike Soku, Harnan had no connection to anyone present at the Great Jedi Library. He had no personal motivation to see anyone in specific dead. He had a steely determination to kill as many Jedi that would dare come within range of him. He also sought what ever knowledge he might find pertinent to his quest. After all, if there was any place in the galaxy that would contain the information he sought, it would be here. If there was one of the pieces here, he would try and acquire it. But considering the situation, he was confident there would not be enough time to do so. Besides, he could not risk Soku seeing one of them. His brother was deeply devoted to the master and the cause. A trait he greatly admired about Soku.
As the Library came into view, Harnan raised his spear into the air, signaling to the AT-STs and AT-XTs to begin their barrages. Whilst Soku had taken a slightly more straight forward approach, Harnan and Omega Company had diverted slightly to bring them in at a 45 degree angle to the entrance. With covering fire being laid down, The remnants of Omega Company continued their march upon the Library Entrance. Harnan brought his shield up and flicked the activator switch on his lightsaber spear, causing the red blade to spark to life. It wouldn't be long now till they would find out if their new brother would be able to complete his part of the plan

* Aeryn was brought out of his mediation by whispers of rumblings and the faint feelings of tremors, opening his eyes he knew the time had come. Making his way through the library, the rumbles grew louder and the tremors increased in strength. The First Order had begun their assault and the worse was still to come. Letting his senses flow out from him, Aeryn could feel the power of two strong dark side users and a large host of forces with them. The odds where not in his or the Jedi's favor but that was usually the case as of late. Aeryn begins to gather the force to him prepping his mind and body for the battle to come, even if it was a lost cause....he was determined to make the First Order fight for every inch and suffer as greatly as possible. They would regret the day and those to come. *

*The first strike had been dealt by the enemy, a barrage of cannon and blaster fire raining down upon the base. The Jedi retaliated, the library's turret defenses firing back at the larger craft while armed military shared blaster fire with the Smileys. Shots from the heavier artillery struck the edifice and the ground both, raining rubble and dirt and, in some cases, bodies. The Jedi Knights defending did their best to defend their library and their military, multicolored blades dancing and catching bolts, sending a few back to sender.
Soku Ren was present, easily identifiable as the dark-robed figure at the forefront of a particular company of stormtroopers, familiar orange blade similarly dancing in the distance as they marched on the library. Aerandir narrowed his eyes and contemplated his next plan of attack. Simply waiting for the Knight of Ren to reach the doorstep would be not only cliche, but foolish; for one thing, Aerandir would rather they not reach the library whatsoever.
He eyed the walkers, which were an incredible advantage over the Jedi at the moment, especially with most of the world's air support tied up in orbit. He had to do something about that if he wanted to gain some sort of advantage. He took a step and then hesitated; his daughter was inside the library, and the last thing he wanted was to remove himself from between the First Order and her.
But if he saw an opportunity to cripple the First Order, or at least even the playing field, that would be even worse.
He grit his teeth and resumed his walk.* "Michelle, we're doing a thing."
*She followed him without question, raising an eyebrow?* "Oh?"
"Yes, but let's not get ahead of ourselves." *He pointed to a Togorian male Jedi nearby.* "You, Knight, with me. What's your name?"
*The Togorian followed the order immediately, replying,* "Groelle, Master Calmcacil."
"Just Aerandir will do." *As they descended the grand staircase and made their way under the cover of the woods, he explained,* "The walkers are our biggest problem. Obviously we have to do something about that." *Glancing over his shoulder, he asked Groelle,* "Are you familiar with the tactics involved during the Battle of Endor, on the forest moon itself?"
*He could see Michelle's knowing grin in his mind. The Togorian, meanwhile, huffed.* "I think we are more capable than a host of sentient stuffed animals."
*Aerandir frowned briefly, but then chuckled.* "Don't let Councilor Rawkill know you said that, but I'm referring to hijacking one of their walkers and turning it against them."
"One walker?"
*Aerandir smirked.* "That was how it went down on Endor. Here is a different story. If it was just one walker, Michelle alone would be more than enough help."
"I see..."
*The woods fully engulfed them, the noises of marching boots and stomping metal growing louder, the tremors stronger. They had shut off their sabers temporarily, allowing for greater stealth as they crept through the woods. They just had to avoid detection and find a proper vantage point, find their targets... and then strike. Preferably upon isolated walkers, so as to sow greater confusion amongst the attackers...*

* As Aeryn makes his way to the First floor of the library and the main entrance, he knew this is where the fighting would be the fiercest for it was the main point of access for the First Order. There was no point in confronting the enemy in open combat for he knew they did not have the man power or the resources to do so and it would only end in a slaughter and an easy victory for the First Order. Aeryn knew he and his fellow Jedi Defenders would have to tip the scales in this battle towards their own favor if they had any chance in winning. First would be to force the enemy into close quarters combat, by doing this they would almost eliminate the effectiveness of the storm troopers blasters and also make there numbers nigh useless. If the jedi could keep the fighting contained to the close quarters of the interior of the library and use the entrances as choke points it could be the basis of their survival. As Aeryn stands in the main corridor of the library several Jedi Knights approach him in hurry, their faces showing fear and their voices distraught. A male Talortai Jedi Knight speaks first*
" Master Morningstar, none of us are ready for such an attack...there are to few of us to repel such a host "
* Aeryn turns to the group of three Jedi Knights looking the male Talortai in the eyes, giving him a calming grin with a wink*
" There is always hope my friend, the battle has only just begun...don't count us out yet, for we are Jedi. Facing overwhelming odds and adversity is in our nature, the Force will guide us. Now gather whom ever you can that can fight, we shall meet our enemies here. Our front line will do its best to keep the enemy at bay at the main entrances to the library, but in the case that they break through have the remaining Jedi disperse themselves through the library. We will force them to fight for every step they take, we also know these corridors lack the back of our hands...we shall use that to our advantage. "
* Aeryn places his left hand on the Talortai's shoulder and gives him a reassuring squeeze, then turn back towards the main entrance of the Library, his tone changing with almost a cold like aspect behind it *
" Death smiles at us all...all we can do is smile back, and make sure we send as many of the enemy to their deaths before our own "
* The three jedi Knights stand up straight and nod, then head back off into the library to assemble who they could to aid in the defense. Aeryn continues to draw upon the force opening himself to it, looking back at all his past battles this would be the hardest one fought yet. He was ready, hopefully the enemy was as well*

Ossus. Great Jedi Library. Service Entrance.
Having successfully hacked the defensive turrets, turning them on the Library defenders and the Jedi, Vlad and his trusty astromech, Clank, had made their way to the service entrance of the Great Library. Sounds of battle could be heard, even here, as the Knights of Ren and the First Order forces engaged the Alliance soldiers and Jedi. Approaching the narrow droid entrance, Vlad groaned in disbelief. The entrance was a lot smaller than he'd been expecting. He glanced down at Clank.
"I thought you said the old servant's entrance. Not service entrance...how do you expect me to fit in there?"
The droid chattered at him in a manner that he had recognized long ago as laughter. Vlad frowned in slight annoyance.
"That is the last time I let you pick the back door into a place like this...let's go."
The droid warbled in acknowledgment. Vlad sighed and motioned for the droid to get to work. Clank rolled up to grate and cut it open. Vlad pulled it away and jerked his head at the vent, indicating Clank to roll through first. Once the droid was in, Vlad looked around, making sure no one had witnessed them, then crawled into the service hatch, and pulled the grate back into place as best he could. With great difficulty, Vlad managed to twist around and began to follow Clank. After several minutes of arduous crouching and creeping, Clank whistled softly. Whispering to the droid, Vlad gave him orders.
"Open the access hatch. Once that's done, find an interface and lock down the main library. That will buy us some time. Once I am in the record room, lock it down behind me and try to maximize Soku's advance and hinder the Jedi. You and I are only here to get the data. I'd like to avoid killing anyone if I don't have to..."
Clank whistled and chirped his response. Vlad nodded in agreement.
"Alright, let's go. And remember, be discreet. I don't want a repeat of Corellia. That almost got us both killed."
Despite Clank's apologetic sounding response, he opened the access and rolled ahead. Vlad followed him out. Once out, Vlad stood up and brushed himself off. Raising his hood and clasping his hands together, he looked at Clank once more.
"Good luck, old friend. I'll see you on other side."
Without waiting for a response from the droid, Vlad walked off towards the Record Room. Several students and civilians milled about in an urgent fashion. Vlad did his best to remain discreet and inconspicuous. The less attention he garnered for himself, the easier his task would be. As he reached the record room, a klaxon blared loudly.
Lockdown Initiated. Please remain calm. For your own safety, please remain where you are. You will be notified by our security team once the lockdown has ended.
As the messaged repeated several times, Vlad slid into the Record Room just as the door slid shut. With the Library on lockdown, he was now effectively trapped inside, for the time being. Finding a terminal located out of the way, Vlad seated himself. He tapped the earbud in his ear and spoke quietly to Soku, who was on the other end.
"I have successfully managed to get inside. I will begin extracting all information I can. Clank currently has the main section of the Library. Contact him to advance. He'll keep the Library locked down for as long as he can...I will contact you once I have as much information as I can get."
Waiting for his new found brother's reply, Vlad retrieved several holo-discs from his belt. Inserting them into the terminal, he began downloading any and all information he could find. Jedi History, training methods, current generations of Force Sensitive children, combat techniques and even deployment strategies. Holocron locations, meditation retreats, hidden enclaves. Everything worth taking. As all of this was downloading, Vlad stumbled upon an encrypted file labeled "RA". Piquing his interest, he selected it to download next. Obviously he wouldn't be able to decrypt it himself. That wasn't his area of expertise. Checking the status of the data-transfer, he continued to monitor it as well as search for more information...

The 4 AT-STs and 4 AT-XTs loaned to Thriesa Company remained behind their advance, peppering the entrance. The AT-XTs were launching wave after wave of proton grenades from their mortars, whilst washing the area with their laser cannons. The AT-STs were launching concussion grenades whilst filling the air with blaster cannon fire. The 4 AT-STs and 4 AT-XTs loaned to Omega Company were following suit as they approached from the east of Thriesa Company. Shots from the Library defences has initially halted their combined advance, but that had all changed when the defence turrets had turned on their owners
As the base of the staircase leading up into the Library came into view, the Riot Control Troopers locked their shields into a wall on either side of Harnan. Behind them, the regular and heavy weapons Stormtroopers formed up and started firing upon the defending forces. At the back, stood the couple squads of flametroopers, who would be useless until they made it across the clearing. It was a slow approach, but it was made easier when it appeared as if Vlad had managed to come through on his end of the plan. A smile formed beneath his armoured helmet. He was actually impressed that the new recruit had managed to come through on them. Perhaps they may yet make a Knight of Ren of the man. Either way, Harnan and Omega Company pushed their advantage, making for the base of the staircase. It was then, that Harnan broke from the front line, to engage a Jedi Knight who was nearby as a great battlecry went up from Omega Company TRAITORS!!!

* Moving with an unnatural speed, Aeryn spins to his right as the first defense turret unveils itself and opens fire. With blaster bolts whizzing past him, Aeryn un-clips his lightsaber the cyan blue blade coming to life and with one swift motion deflects the fire back into the defense turret destroying it. Just as the other turrets come online, he extends his left hand out before him and creates a crushing motion. The three other turrets crumple like tin foil through the force, but before Aeryn can regain his full situational awareness he is knocked off his feet as the impacts from the enemy artillery shake the main entrance of the Library. Pushing himself back onto his feet, Aeryn coughs as the dust begins to settle, his eyes regaining focus. The First Order had made it to the main entrance of the Library and where only moments from bursting through the doors on the first level of the Library.
The klaxons of the Library defense system where still blaring in his ears alerting all Jedi of the lock down but something was amiss. With the Library's defense systems now targeting friendly's and not the enemy the only answer to this was that somehow the First Order had an agent already inside the Library. As Aeryn begins to move, a small team of Jedi defenders meet him in the main entry way. Aeryn calls out to them as he leaps up the stairs towards the main Library*
" Hold this position as long as you can!!!! I shall return as fast as I can !!!"
* The leader of the small group of defenders nod as they head down to the main entrance of the Library and await for the First Order to break through. Meanwhile Aeryn calls on the force to increase his speed as he hurtles up the many sets of stairs to the archives of the Library. Once inside, Aeryn tells all the Knights to head to the main entrance of the Library and for the padawans to get the younglings to safety.
Before proceeding forward, Aeryn forces himself to take a deep breath and calm himself. His sudden use of such force energy to increase his speed had left his muscles a bit tight and slightly drained but nothing he could not recuperate from quickly. Stretching out with the force, he can feel an uneasiness coming from the records room which was under full lock down. That was where the First Orders agent had to be, Aeryn inputs his authorization could into a data panel outside the records room but is not granted access...looks like he would have to go in the hard way. Grasping his lightsaber in his hands, Aeryn plunges the blade deep into the durasteel door that had come down due to the lock down and slowly begins working the blade through the durasteel. it was slow going but in a matter of minutes he would make it through the door and be upon anyone who was inside. *

*Something was wrong, a disturbance that caused Aerandir to stop in his tracks and turn towards the temple, which he couldn't clearly see through the trees. Surprise and even panic could be felt from those soldiers and Jedi defending the Temple, and for a moment Aerandir could not tell why. Then he realized something was missing: Turbolaser fire aimed in the direction of the First Order. And yet, he could still hear the cannons.
There was a mole. Someone had accessed the defense systems of the Library and turned them on the defenders. Fortunately, the remaining defenders were already regrouping, retreating into the Library proper to minimize casualties. It was a testament to their constitution and their ability to keep a cool head in dire situations, proof of their adaptability and unwillingness to go down without a fight.
Which meant Aerandir had to press on as well. Mina was in there... but she was safe. He had made sure all younglings present in the Library were led to safety even before the First Order made their landing; what was more impressive was how responsive the Jedi here had been in getting that taken care of. As far as Aerandir could tell, the only personnel active within the halls of the Library were Jedi and soldiers prepared to engage in close-quarters combat.
And the mole.*
"We're going to have to make a three-way split," *he informed his two followers as they crept onward through the jungle and peered out towards the advancing party. He pointed to a nearby AT-ST.* "Groelle, get up onto this one here. Michelle and I will press around the edge and take our own targets further in. You should prioritize taking out the walkers; if things are getting too hairy, bail out of there."
"Hairier," *Michelle quipped.
The Togorian made no reaction to her comment.* "Understood. Now?"
*Aerandir nodded.* "Now."
*The Togorian was off, creeping off through the brush towards his designated target. Aerandir wasted no time to see if he was successful, as he and Michelle instead made their way around the rear of the marching party, keeping low but moving swiftly along the lines. Aerandir tapped Michelle on the shoulder and indicated her target. She nodded and made her way in that direction. As she did so, he made for his own target, even as the AT-ST that was Groelle's showed signs of changed allegiance. Perfect timing then.
He sprang, bounding up the leg of the walker with the combined strength of his own physical ability and usage of the Force. He used any handhold he could to keep his grip, any foothold to launch himself higher, until he rolled onto the top of the walker. He pulled open the top hatch and slipped inside, with a well-aimed simultaneous kick to the heads of both pilots. He then withdrew his legs and landed in a crouch, his arms extending to knock both pilots out with another blow to the head. He then tossed one unconscious pilot over the seat into the back of the cockpit before taking his chair as well as the controls of the walkers.
Then he took aim at the nearest walkers, firing the cannons upon the AT-STs nearest him, praying that the confusion caused by one hijacked walker would afford him—and also Michelle—the distraction they needed to clear out what they could...*
