Clutching Tooey, her beloved durasteel mini R2-series astromech droid hug-me replica and clipping it to her utility belt, Mirian hefted her gear, then opened the door, and tripped, and rolled down the ramp. Somehow, she managed to look like she'd vaulted on purpose and came up in a kneeling position, though her stunned look suggested she was as surprised as everyone else. Variss Oka, a greenish-skinned Zelosian hopped out carefully after Mirian, and checked on the team's medic and in-house klutz. As a plant species, she had issues with darkness and nighttime, so her suit and armor had to be equipped with specialized artificial sunlight generators. She was still quite far out of her element here.
Mirian nodded at the commando, and watched as the rest disembarked without any problems, and one of them signalled Kaytra the all clear. They knew what needed to be done, and Mirian swallowed. They were relying on her to guide them through this planet. That was why she'd been picked for this mission: Her knowledge and her strong Coruscanti accent which she often inflected in her speech especially when she was stressed out. And she's often stressed out. Her hands trembled slightly, and Variss placed a hand on her shoulder, "Hey, easy, doc. It's okay." Mirian smiled and nodded, and straightened up.

*Once the all clear came through her comlink, Kaytra shut the bay door and slowly moved the ship forward. The journey to the hangar took another several minutes of weaving in and out of neon signs, cargo drones and support pillars. Finally she saw the platform. A well used chunk of flat steel the stuck out from an old hangar door. She could only imagine how many ships had landed on the platform over the years it was in use. Slowly she brought The Sun Dog down onto the hangar. The sound of the ship sinking its struts echoed through the cockpit, followed by the low whine of the engines powering down. She remained in her seat for a minute scanning the hangar. No one had come out to greet them. That was a little strange. Shaking the thought from her head she stood up and exited the ship. Once reaching the bottom of the loading ramp she hit her comlink. Signaling that the ship was now at the meeting point. Now all she had to do was wait for everyone else to reach the hangar.*

Green eyes widened a bit at Anshara's reply, but Nik didn't say anything at the moment. A smile tugged at his lips as he momentarily wondered what she would be like if she ever relaxed and took a minute to enjoy the finer things of life. In fact, he knew of a few names he could pass along to her in case she ever wanted a night off duty, so to speak.
However, her code differed from that of the Jedi. It wasn't his business to go into it. As far as he was concerned, she was an ally in this. Doubtless she'd be able to infiltrate the lab, and he already knew she'd be handy in a tight spot.
Nik unclipped his lightsaber from his belt and tucked it into his boot as was his habit when out in public. Most people didn't associate Zeltrons with Jedi, and in his opinion it was an advantage he could use. Then, he offered Terra his arm. She was wearing more traditional Jedi clothes than he was, so he doubted a ruse would last for long, but it might temporarily allay suspicions in the beginning."In that case, perhaps I could buy you a drink, Terra?" he inquired, with a glance at Anshara, already slipping into the shadows. That trick of hers could be useful. He wondered if it was innate, or taught.
If they played along with the facade that the lab masqueraded behind it might give them a few seconds to assess the situation and see what they were up against. Emerald eyes turned a shade darker as he looked at Terra before glancing away. She could probably tell that he was a bit on edge, but there was no need to let her know that he was worried about her and what she might find in there. He had a feeling that she would be annoyed by someone actually trying to protect her. And there was no sense in exasperating her till she did something reckless. Terra nodded, understanding the ruse they were now attempting. Walking arm in arm with Nik, they made their way towards the concealed lab, Anshara stealthily following directly behind them. Hopefully this worked to get them inside the lab, but from there, she still didn't have much of a plan to deal with whatever was inside.
She nodded."Yes, please..." Force knew she could have used a good strong drink right about now...maybe Nik would offer for real when all this was over...

Ignoring the instinct to look back over his shoulder towards Anshara in case anyone was watching, Nik pulled Terra's hand into the crook of his elbow and paused just outside the entrance to what appeared to be a normal tapcaf, aside from more than the usual dark feelings that he sensed emanating from deep inside the place like a putrid sore.
Then, he pushed the door open and walked inside with Terra beside him. Already there seemed to be a sizable company of patrons gathered in the smoky atmosphere. The band, distinctly off-key, harassed his ears with a jangly noise that he could only assume was meant to resemble some kind of song. Carefully sliding between two seedy-looking individuals, one of whom had a large tankard of something fizzy that managed to also give off steam, he wove a treacherous path over towards the counter.

The door gapped open and the young woman slipped through immediately parting from Terra and Nik. She sensed her surroundings and while she moved through the room, she made sure that her aura would change every so often she got closer to someone else, resembling his or her aura. She moved with the wind, monitored the room and also kept an eye out for the two of them in case they'd need her.
She scouted ahead and even got behind the bar so she could check for a trap door but there was none. So somehow they had to get in the back room. Or maybe it was up to her to check first? It was strange and difficult for her to work out the details not knowing what the other two would like to do. So she got closer to them and waited for a hint in their discussion.

Terra immediately felt uncomfortable when entering this place, feeling like someone was staring at her from the shadows. The dark presence from her vision was closer than ever, but the question now was how to find it. There didn't seem to be any obvious way into the lab from what she could see. She tried to avoid making eye contact with any of the patrons here. Whether or not they were aware of the presence of a Sith Alchemy lab, they probably weren't any kind of people to get mixed up with...
Sitting behind the counter with his back turned to the crowd was a hooded man, hunched over almost like he was in pain. In reality, he was concentrating, gathering his strength. Yellow eyes glowed from underneath the hood. Despite having his back turned to the entrance, he knew that the two people who had just entered were here to cause trouble, but that was just fine with him.
She had finally come to him....

*Kaytra let out a sigh and leaned against the side of her ship. Her eyes scanned the hangar before they stopped on an Ithorian fast asleep in a chair near the end of the hangar.* "That explains the lack of greeting." *She thought. Again her thoughts and eyes began to wonder as she waited for the rest of the team to catch up. It was then that a voice spoke up from behind her.* "How are you supposed to keep track of the others with your head in the clouds like that Tatham?" *Kaytra almost jumped at the sound of the voice. Turning around she came face to face with Asha, her copilot. Relaxing some, Kaytra shook her head.* "Just thinking about how everything doesn't seem as easy as it used to be." *Asha arched an eyebrow at Kaytras response.* "Things used to be easy? I didn't think getting shot at was easy. I thought you just got used to it, or expected it actually." *Kaytra watched as the redheaded copilot sat down on the loading ramp.* "Besides. This is just an intel mission. It's not like anything can go to terribly wrong. Right?" *Giving a nod, Kaytra sat down beside Asha.* "I guess you're right. What's the worst that could happen?"

Mirian.
Mirian's the worst that could happen to anyone. Seriously. Her name is synonymous with disaster. In fact, the word 'disaster' was coined on account of her. It was the first word invented when she was born. Just consult JvS.Wikia. It's there, somewhere. But they hid it in shame, and also because they don't want this information falling into the wrong hands.
In any case, the cute-as-a-button, pocket rocket Mirian Santiro, all round transporter, flyer and GALSAF field medic approached the meeting point ahead of the rest of the team, and tripped over a pipeline that she failed to spot, despite it being a good foot-and-a-half long, and went into an impressive three-vault roll, with a dramatic, yet slapstick series of cries, grunts and groans until she was in a sitting in front of Kaytra and Asha, legs splayed out, and hands propped behind her to prevent her from falling flat on her back, though she very much wanted to.
"...Reporting for duty..." came the woozy reply.

She had finally come to him.... The Zeltron was aware of Terra's discomfort, but he had no brilliant ideas about how to combat that in this environment. Hopefully the people around them would assume it was because she was a Jedi in unfamiliar territory in the underworld, and further, he hoped that they would assume that was all she was. If it was known what the Jedi were here for, then they were running out of time fast. Just before the two of them reached the bar, he felt Terra freeze next to him. With a quick green-eyed glance, he smiled at her, tracing it to an old decrepit-looking individual leaning heavily on the counter about four feet down from them.
Thinking fast, and hoping Terra didn't just decide to kill him, he pulled her in closer next to him and leaned in a casual manner against the bar, holding up his left hand to signal the bartender."Afternoon," he drawled, dialing up his innate Zeltron charm and smiling in a disarming fashion. "I'd like a Coruscant Sunrise," and with a fond glance down at Terra, "and the lady'd like a glass of Veronian berry wine, chilled." He carried off that last bit with a roguish wink as if to indicate that Terra hadn't gone far beyond the Temple before. He was aware that that was something of a gamble as far as the other patrons were concerned, particularly if the incident in the warehouse with a local gang was actually tied to the alchemy lab here. He slid the requisite amount of credits across the counter, while surreptitiously stretching out with his senses through the room. That sudden prickle of danger that the Force shot down the back of his neck might be all the warning he got before things went south faster than a Jawa could dismantle a droid for scrap metal.

Ashe shook her head and mumbled something about what could go wrong. Kaytra stood up and walked over to the Medic before kneeling down in front of her and extending a hand. She couldn't help but give a bemused grin towards Mirian.* "You alright?"

Mirian accepted the offered hand and was easily lifted to her feet.
"Oh...yep." She said, "Right as rain...Uh...so...you needed to go...where again?"
As she brushed herself off, nearly dropping her cute little R2 replica hug-me toy, the rest of the team slowly, and more carefully caught up to the pilots. Being around Mirian for a long time made individuals more wary of their surroundings. She was a fine example of how to watch your step, unless you want something hilarious to happen at your expense.

From behind the counter, the old man turned to face the Zeltron and his companion, and his eyes instantly narrowed as he gazed upon her. It had been almost...nine years? Ten years? He didn't remember the exact amount of time it had been, but he would recognize this girl anywhere. After all of this time she had found him.
His gaze remained fixed on Terra, ignoring Nik for the moment."I can already tell there's much you have forgotten..." Terra felt a shiver run down her spine as their eyes met, and she immediately felt the same fear from her vision creeping up, but she managed to suppress it. Trying to conceal her fear even as his gaze seemed to burn right through her, she stared back at him."About what...?" Though she dreaded the answer, she had to ask. This man must know something about her past...

The young woman stood close by when the hooded man approached. She saw Terra trembling when he adressed her. Anshara moved to the side and flanked the being. Cautiously minding her surroundings she tried to get in a position where she wouldn't be in Terra's way but able to take action whenever needed. In her focus she started to assess the situation. She tried to figure out who would probably work together with the man, who was a high priority target and who had to be taken out to break the flow of the attack. Only seconds later she had dismissed the whole idea. Getting into the lab was more important than winning a fight here.
Calming herself down she solely focused on listening, hiding and waiting. In case Terra and Nik would get into a fight in here they'd be on their own if nothing special happened causing her to change her mind.

Nik could feel Anshara's presence in one corner of his awareness, as if she was one floating mote in the circle of his senses, enhanced as they were by the Force. But, he did not draw attention to her by looking in her direction or attempting to catch her eye.
He felt Terra stiffen next to him as the old man addressed her. Addressed her familiarly. All too familiarly in Nik's opinion. The Jedi Knight could tell that Terra recognized the fellow on some psychological level, even if she did not as yet know the name to attach to his face. Well, his face that was currently hidden.
Nik Arreni raised his glass and took a sniff of his drink, ostensibly admiring it up close before taking a sip. He handed Terra her drink, a light one in terms of alcohol content, but he knew that she knew better than to just drink it down. It was a handy prop in case she needed something to contemplate to buy time. There were many things one could do with a drink, all while being subtle. For now, he trusted that she would feel her way through this and know what to do, and know also that he was there.

It's called Underglow. Have you heard of it?" Mirian visibly stiffened when Kaytra mentioned the name of the cantina.. o O ( Blast it!) "Only that that's where no young woman should venture alone." She self-consciously pulled her jacket tighter around herself, and cast a glance at the rest of the more-or-less casually dressed commandos were milling about, trying not to bunch together too obviously. "Fortunately, we aren't alone. Though, are we sure on the level of intel for this meet? I mean sure, I get when we need to be inconspicuous, but does it have to be in such a dangerous place? Underglow's like an open death-trap." The Zelosian, Variss Oka glanced over at Mirian, one of the few commandos who stuck close to Mirian, and placed a hand on the young medic's shoulder, "You that worried?" Mirian shrugged helplessly, "I've studied Coruscant's layout, and I could tell you just about all the best places for a safe meeting. Underglow's not even on that list. It's dangerous on all accounts, and frankly, I've got a bad feeling about this."

*Kaytra rolled her eyes at Mirians question.* "Yes. We're sure about this level of intel. Besides, I've been in far worse places. I was an orphan living on the streets for a while. So you can imagine the terrible places that I, as a young lady, had to venture to alone. But I survived that, and we'll survive this, I promise." *She took several steps backwards till she was standing right beside the medic. Using her index finger and middle finger. She poked the medic in the back between the shoulder blades, urging her forward.* "Even if it's not on that list of yours. We still need to go there. So lead the way smallish one."

"Ooph! Uh...yessir." Mirian stumbled a little at even the light push, in her hurry to obey. She quietly guided the group, her memory of the maps and locations helping her find her way as if she'd lived here all her life. After all, wasn't that why they brought her along? Otherwise, why would anyone even bother having her around? The group didn't stay tightly bunched together, going in twos and threes. The pedestrians on the streets were none too friendly types, but most kept to themselves or minded their own business, but they did cast glances at the various members of the group(s). Mirian attracted some attention too, but the hideous lightsaber scar on her cheek and on her bare left side suggested she was not unfamiliar with violence. Her gait and manner was a little less than confident however, and the denizens of the less civilized places picked up on that quickly. The only reason they didn't make moves was because though apart, all these new faces looked tough enough to hold their own in an impromptu firefight, and she was surrounded by them. Getting to her meant getting through the others first.
When they reached their intended destination, Mirian began to speak in a Coruscanti accent, "Well there's the 'garden spot of the galaxy', as they say, and you will find no finer establishment than..."
Just then, there was the sound of a brief scuffle, and a Gamorrean bursts out of the entrance, flying like someone or something had just thrown him very hard. Considering how big Gamorreans are, it had to be something bigger and stronger. "Oh for heaven's sakes, a Gamorrean?!? This place has certainly gotten worse since last I looked." Mirian's accent came out so thickly now, she sounded like a trueborn native of the planet. Variss Oka grinned and nodded at Kaytra. She liked this place. For a plant species, she could be so strange, liking violent establishments.

*Kaytra watched as the Gamorrean hit the ground and rolled to a stop. She couldn't help but laugh at the medics accent and sudden, or worsening, displeasure of the cantina.* "Well maybe it's not so bad on the inside. Either way, I think I might like it here. Easier for someone like me to blend in." *She glanced sideways just in time to see Shepard roll his eyes. Without another word, Kaytra made her way into the cantina. Just like Mirian had said. The place was not exactly the safest looking, then again that was to be expected in the undercity. Several eyes glanced their direction before returning to theirs drinks or conversations. Without stopping, she made her way to the bar, as the others filtered their way in ti avoid drawing attention. Kaytra sat down at the bar, her eyes slowly cast glances around at the patrons.* "Far corner of the room. There's a Weequay sitting at that corner booth." *She whispered in a low voice. Shepard was on her left. As she spoke he used his glass as a mirror to spot the target.* "He seems pretty interested in us. Might be our informant."

Well it was quite clear from her response that one or more of the blocks he had placed on her memories all that time ago were still there. A pity that there hadn't been enough time to erase everything, but then if there had, they wouldn't be having this conversation right now. There was much he would have to fill her in on...if she was willing to listen. If not...well then this was going to get ugly. But that would suit him just fine as well. If the Jedi had tainted her beyond repair, then it would be best to purge her..."Meet me in that back room in five minutes, and I will...reveal what you've been seeking. And if you truly want to know about your past, then come alone."This would be delicate enough without the Zeltron intervening. With that, the old man began to shuffle away towards a small room near the back of the cantina.
Terra watched him go, aware that this was probably, nay, definitely a trap. He would trap her alone and then Force knows what would happen. She wasn't stupid enough to think for a second that there wasn't something up here. And yet, if he really did know about her past, then this was her chance to finally uncover the mysteries about herself. Not to mention the whole reason they were here was to reveal and destroy the alchemy lab. Despite the obvious trap, they had to find away to get inside.
She turned to Nik."I'm going after him..."She glanced around the room again, unable to see Anshara, but she hoped the other girl was close by. The hooded man had told Terra to come alone, but she didn't intend to walk into a trap without backup. Anshara could probably stay close by and hidden should the worst happen. She lowered her voice a little."Anshara can stay close by in case anything happens...um...we'll probably need an escape route..."She trailed off, figuring Nik would understand that she wanted him to be here to clear a path in case they needed to retreat.
Taking a deep breath, she took her drink in her hand and slowly made her way to the back room...
