*She couldn't believe this was happening again.
There she had been in Felucia's halls, garbed in her Felucian outfit and preparing for a journey out in the wilderness, when an insect of some kind had darted past her shoulder, drawing the attention of Lokay, her tailring. Immediately he had taken off after the delicious snack, with Morgan running after him, fruitlessly trying to call him back. But he had sailed onward, chasing the bug into the open cargo area of some stranger's ship. The fact that she had accidentally been spirited away the last time she'd entered someone else's ship before had been enough to give her pause about entering it, but, she figured, the chances of that happening again were low, so she darted inward to seek out Lokay.
How wrong she was.
Lokay had cornered the bug behind a couple of crates, and was crunching upon it, laying comfortably on all four paws as he enjoyed his catch. Morgan had started to lecture him about flying into strange ships, then jumped when she heard the hiss of the closing cargo bay door. It was happening again! Morgan hadn't wasted any time in running to the door, banging on it with both hands and calling out for anyone to let her out.
Before she knew it, she was once again being whisked away on a journey against her will, and she had no choice but to bear with it, hopefully find a way out of the ship, then either get a ride back home or contact her father so that he could come get her. That was, assuming the owners of this ship weren't pirates like last time, and that they weren't headed to a world with a lack of civilization, like Dagobah.
Hyperspace jumps never weres pleasant when one had no harness, especially when one was stuck in the cargo bay. Dropping out of hyperspace had been even worse, but at least that meant they were stopping, right? Lokay had been curled up in Morgan's lap, tense, motionless other than the mild shaking characteristic of his hatred of space travel. Morgan held him close, comforting him, glad it gave her something to do other than worry by herself.
She felt the rocking of the ship as it entered the atmosphere of a planet, felt it slow down as it descended toward a landing spot...*

*Jake couldn't have been more relieved when they'd entered orbit of Haruun Kal, but now it only fueled his anticipation. Morgan was here, they'd get her, and they'd go home. All would be well again. After they began to descend to the planet, toward the spaceport where the ship was located, Jake just couldn't take it any longer. He leaned forward over the control panel, locating the comm array, and tuning into Morgan's personal datapad. Hopefully this would work.* Morgan! Are you there? Can you hear me? *Frowning, Bix looked over at him.* =Bix= Jake, I don't think we're close enough for that to w— *And yet, even as Bix said this, a girl's voice crackled through the comms before he could finish.* =Morgan= :: Jake! Where are you?! :: *Her voice seemed desperate, and loud as though she were talking over something; there was a faint noise in the background. But Jake didn't mind, his eyes lit up as he heard her voice, safe, and spoke back to her.* We're in orbit, we're coming to get you! Where are you? *There was a brief but noticeable pause before Morgan's reply.* =Morgan= :: I'm in the jungle! Near the Jedi Temple! Don't go to the spaceport, just come down and get me! ... and open the ramp before you land! :: *Jake and Bix both furrowed their brows in concern. Whatever was happening, Morgan was in trouble, and they had to get there fast. And Jake was not interested in messing this up.* Okay! We'll be there soon! *Jake looked at Bix, who only nodded and began working the controls, trying to locate both the Jedi Temple and Morgan's signal for a more accurate descent. The speed of the vessel noticeably increased, no doubt to the sudden urgency of the situation. Jake held onto his seat as the ship rocketed toward the surface. They were almost there. They almost had Morgan, then they could go home and put this entire thing behind them...*

*As the shuttle rose up into orbit, Morgan still remained in the cargo area with Jake. Bix even had to ask if they were okay, and Jake told him to go ahead into hyperspace, that they were fine where they were. Jake held onto Morgan with one arm, and with the other he held onto a nearby support before the ship could jump into hyperspace. Lokay pressed against their side, and Rush slid against the floor slightly as the ship jumped, then they settled.
Haruun Kal was behind them...*

As always the fleets of the CUF patrolled the system around their homeworld of Haruun Kal, though almost none of the members of the CUF were actually from this planet. They had come here from different places, and in some cases different times, but they had all decided to make this their home and the base of the CUF. Admiral Walsh stood on the bridge of "The Watchman" reviewing the daily reports and duty assignments of Fleet Himura. The fleet consisted of: Fleet Himura: Fleet Admiral Dillion Walsh, Fleet Commander

and Walsh knew he needed to keep everyone sharp.
Most of the ships were operating on skeleton crews, rotating officers and crew every month or so to give the men some extended shore leave on H.K. waiting for orders from one of the masters, but the great halls had fallen silent and only the droids kept the jungle at bay. Somedays Dillion wondered why they were still here. He could easily convince the other ship captains to follow him into the private sector, and he knew many of them had already considered it. He'd had to remind them that the CUF was still alive and well, otherwise they wouldn't still be getting credits for their service. Truth be told, sometimes he wondered if he was right...
Suddenly an alert went up from the sensor station.
"Sir, there's a ship on an intercept course with us. Unable to determine who or what though. Sensors indicate it could be an old ETA 2 fighter, but it's traveling through hyperspace. Those ships were never designed for that kind of travel without a ring, but we have no indications that a ring is being utilized at this time. Orders sir?"
As the duty officer was about to give orders to intercept and prepare to destroy Admiral Walsh merely stood up, smiled and walked over to the sensor station.
"Fear not my boy. I know you fellas are new around here, but this is normal."
"Sir, I have been on this post for over a year now and have never seen this before, how can it be normal?"
"Sorry son, let me explain. This is what we call expected. It has not happened for over a year, but it used to happen all the time. Your orders are to open the hangar bay and alert the flight deck crew that Jalopy One is inbound. After that I'll need the Master's quarters made up properly and a recall notice sent out to all our troops on shore leave. In case your wondering, Jalopy One is the personal ETA 2 fighter of Jedi Master Arden Brandwyn one of the founding members of the CUF and our fleet's personal commander."
As the crew does what it needs to Japoy One enters orbit and continues on the intercept course, headed directly towards the starboard hangar bay. The crew had done exactly as it had been trained to do, even if they hadn't had cause to do so in many months. Arden guided his ship expertly into the bay, following the proper procedures as he had done so many times before. Once the ship came to a complete stop and docking was complete Arden and BoB descended from the ship onto the deck. Arden nodded to all the people working the deck, though he noticed it was a minimal crew. 'To be expected, I have been away for some time now. Must not be getting orders from the temple either though. Wonder if I should be worried about the rest of the council.' He made his way to the command deck, and stepping out saw the familiar face of Admiral Dillion Walsh, standing by his seat. Walsh's face lit up when he saw Arden, back from the dead and better than ever.
"Greetings Admiral, how are you my old friend?"
"Master Brandwyn it is good to see you up and about again. Orders?"
"Patience my friend. First, I want to thank you and the crew for maintaining the security of Haruun Kal. I see we are running a minimal crew. Please alert the men on leave that they will be expected to report back for duty by the end of the week. I have things to attend to here, please send my escort troops to my location once they report in. I will be in the temple for a few days. I will need you to prepare for the hyperspace jumps to take us to Alderaan and Telos IV, in that order. I will return when I am ready to depart this system."
"Very well sir, I will have the hagar bay ready a shuttle and crew to take you to the temple as soon as your ready."
"Thank you Admiral, I will leave BoB here, please have maintenance give him a once over, it's been a while since he was cared for properly."
Arden nodded to Walsh and departed the bridge, making his way back to the hangar bay to take his shuttle to the temple. He was on his way planet side within a few minutes, though he wasn't sure what to expect upon his arrival.

A shimmering ripple appears in the space several hundred kilometers away from Haruun Kal. A ship emerges, broadcasting a Clone Wars era IFF tag, indicating that it is a Jedi courier. On closer inspection of the ship, it appears to be an All Terrain Tactical Enforcer, although the scale is off, as the ship is twice the size of the tank it is obviously based on. On the bridge, Cade Devereaux looks at his ships AI. "Ailyn, all I need to know is if we lost them." A small blue hologram of an attractive woman in her early twenties or late teens flickers into existence on his control panel. "That would be a yes, Cade. According to my chrono, we outran them by several hundred years... And that's actual years, not a measure of distance. We appear to be in orbit over Haruun Kal, although it's topography has changed a fair bit since my system scans were last updated. Now, for the damage list... Our hyperspace engines are offline. That last ion blast did something weird to them. The left rear blaster cannon is also offline, although that seems to be from a misaligned power cell. All other systems appear to be in proper operating order." "Fierfek... Any signals out there?" Cade taps a button on his panel, enabling the ship's communication and sensor systems. After a brief pause, Ailyn responds. "That's an affirmative. Several cruisers of unknown manufacture and class are settled in a much closer orbit than we are." Cade sighs. "Well, I guess we wait and see what they do."

A very old IFF tag, dating back to the clone wars era, is picked up by the communications officers onboard the watchman as well as in the temple. Messages are sent between the two briefly and the decision to let the watchman handle it is made. The comms officer points out the pertinent info to Admiral Walsh, who takes charge of the situation and opens a comm channel to the ship.
"Unidentified vessel, this is Admiral Dillion Walsh of Haruun Kal command. Your codes are outdated, respond on this channel immediately or you will be treated as hostile. DO you understand? Aknowledge."
The comm channel is set to mute, so the Admiral can discuss things with his officers and not be overheard by the person or persons on the ship in question.
"Sensors, I need to know everything there is to know about that ship. Tactical, target all weapons on that ship and prepare to raise defenses on my order."
Admiral Walsh stood back and waited to see what was going to happen, would they be friendlies with an old code or hostiles that needed to be dealt with? Either way, it had been quite some time since this ship, fleet and crew had engaged in such a detail.

Cade looks at his comm panel as the broadcast plays through the bridge's speakers. "Cade, I have a comm channel to them on standby, using the secondary system, since we lost the main antenna exiting the Temple. Just so you know, they are targeting us. Should I raise the shields and charge up the guns?" "Yeah, I figured that'd be standard procedure... Leave everything offline. I'm pretty sure the armor can take a full barrage if they open up on us, but we don't have anything that could dent those cruisers anyway. Other than the ship itself, of course. Put the comm link on my screen." "Done. Try not to say anything that might get us blown up..." Cade smirks briefly, then taps the comm activation icon. "Ah... This is the 'Armored Rambler', Captain Cade Devereaux speaking. My codes were up to date when I entered hyperspace..." The 'Rambler' continues to sit in it's orbit some distance away from the orbiting fleet. It's shields remain down, and sparks can be seen flickering around the hyperspace engines. The left rear laser cannon is visibly drooping compared to it's counterpart. The sensor scans would try to match the ship with the schematics for an AT-TE, although the frame is twice the size. The hull scans reveal the armoring to consist of an outer layer of phrik, over a much thicker layer of durasteel. There is a slightly higher reactor output visible than most ships in the same category. One life-sign is on board.

"Admiral, sensor scan complete. It's... well sir, it's difficult to name. It resembles an oversized AT-TE but I don't recall them ever being built on this scale."
Cade's message is heard received on the bridge and Walsh smirks at the comment about everything being current when they entered hyperspace.
"Comms, transmit this conversation to Master Brandwyn at the temple. Maybe he can make sense of this."
The comms officer does as requested, and in the council chambers Arden listens as he speaks to Urias. He then responds with a written message direct to the admiral who then unmutes his comms and speaks to the captain.
"Captain Devereaux, this is Admiral Walsh again. You seem to need some repairs, you are cleared to land at the spaceport but given the readings we have on your ship you might be better off docking with one of our capital ships for your minor repairs before you try and enter the atmosphere. Just a suggestion."
he pauses momentarily to re-read a section of Arden's message before continuing
"The council member granting you this permission also says, and I quote, 'Welcome back, you have a lot to catch up on.' end quote."

Cade sighs in relief after muting his comms. "Well, we aren't going to be blown up today... at least by anybody else... Ailyn, what's your vote? Do we land on the planet, or the cruiser?" "Well, all of the systems regarding our normal engines seem to be working, but, given that I can't even tell exactly what's wrong with the hyperspace engines, or what they might be affecting, I vote we land on the cruiser, and see if their techs can figure this mess out." "Right. The cruiser it is then. I wonder who would send a message like that to us..." He reactivates the comm channel. "Admiral, I will accept your offer to dock aboard the cruiser. My IFF transponder isn't receiving correctly at the moment, so if you could direct me where to go I would be most grateful. Hopefully one of your techs can figure out the mess my ship's in..." Cade activates his ships engines at one tenth power, and begins heading toward the gathered fleet.

"We'll open the doors for you, if your docking computer is damaged we can tractor you in."
After this statement he closes the channel and instructs the crew to prepare for the arrival of their guests. The Watchman then broke it's orbit in order to meet the ship halfway. The deck crew had prepared a spot for the incoming vessel and the maintenance crews were studying the scans to determine what they were dealing with. BoB was on deck with Jalopy One, the old ETA-2 fighter that Arden was so fond of, and had also studied the scans. He found a terminal near the repair techs and pulled up schematics he had stored within his files for a prototype vessel closely matching what was heading their way. It was strange for the crew to see BoB as anything more than an antique, but whenever they had encountered ancient clone wars tech BoB had been the only one with the proper data on what they were dealing with. Now a ship with a Clone Wars era IFF tag was approaching and BoB seemed to have the most relevant data on the subject.
The deck officer was always a little amazed at how little actual knowledge had survived the wars and made it into record, so much information was lost. BoB was a relic of that time, though he has been repaired and upgraded so many times that it's hard to believe he was one of the first R2 units from that time period. His data banks are never wiped and now it would seem that is coming in handy...
(Deck Officer) "Man, I've never seen anything like this. Even with all the stuff Kal Corp produces this is still something of a marvel."
(Tech) "At least this old droid seems to know something. You think this is another really old Jedi that never bothered to upgrade his ship?"
(Deck Officer) (Laughing) "No, I'm pretty sure Master Brandwyn is one of a kind."

Cade smacks his data readout screen. "The docking system seems to be working... I'm not entirely sure what it'll take to get airborne again afterwards though..." Cade steers the ship towards the cruiser that is on it's way to meet them. He slowly guides it into the open hanger bay, where it sets down surprisingly gracefully, despite it's tank-like design. The hatch that would have been the cockpit on the original design pops open, and an R3 series astromech droid jumps out, using rocket boosters mounted in it's leg panels. As the droid exits, a ramp lowers into the rear bay. The droid swivels it's head to look around the hangar bay. Upon seeing BoB, it gives off a happy little series of beeps, recognizing the older droid from it's time the Jedi Temple.
On the bridge of the 'Rambler', Cade looks at Ailyn. "Hey, do you want to take point on this? Given that we still don't know exactly who we're dealing with..." Ailyn cuts him off. "You want the girl with the repairable body to take point? The last set of repairs just got fixed right before we fled." "No, I was going to say that it might be better if the better diplomat took point. If you don't want to, I'll do it." "Good. I'm going to transfer to the HRD. Be right back." Ailyn's avater vanishes from the control panel. After a few minutes, a hatch pops open in the front section of the bridge. Ailyn's Human Replica Droid form climbs up the ladder. She looks up at Cade, then smirks. "Well, lead the way, Captain." Cade shakes his head, a slight smile on his face, which quickly fades. "Right." He exits the bridge to the rear bay.
Cade walks down the ramp, wearing his ODST armor, minus the helmet. His carbine is clipped to his chest-plate, so that it hangs across his stomach. Ailyn follows him, her HRD form matching her avatar; a woman with dark brown hair, standing five feet tall, wearing a white dress that is designed in such a manner as to enable the wearer to fight. Cade looks around the hangar bay, as the R3 unit wheels under the ship towards them. Cade speaks quietly. Hey, Shadow. Bet you're glad to get out of that socket." Shadow beeps at Cade for several seconds. Cade looks around, and spots BoB. "So, you recognize that older droid from the Temple? Go over and say hi, if you want to." Shadow beeps happily, and wheels over to BoB. He chirps at the other droid in greeting. Meanwhile, Cade looks around for someone in charge.

After the ship landed and the occupants came out BoB headed over and began an in depth conversation with the other droid, of course only those versed in binary were able to understand any of it and of course, you'd have to be a droid to actually comprehend it. BoB was simply relaying info about Arden and the aftermath of Order 66, and anything else he thought might be relative, or pertinent, for Shadow to know. BoB's historical records were quite well intact and contained the official reports on the destruction of The Armored Rambler as well as some of the less than openly documented belief that the ship was not destroyed but that it was sent off course in an unknown manner. Warek Mychi, Arden's Master, had his own opinion about that event and stored it in BoB's memory. He thought the hyperspace entrance was skewed just slightly that the ship would re-appear in either the past or the future, though he admittedly did not see it being more than a cycle or two in either direction. BoB asked Shadow if this is what had happened, and if so it would be a remarkable feat to have traveled this far into the future...
At the same time, the deck officer approached the two people emerging from the ship as several repair techs approached the ship to begin.
(Deck Officer) "Hello Captain, I'm Chief Johnson and I'll be overseeing your repairs today. Looks like you've taken a pretty good beating, but not to worry we'll get you patched up in no time. If you have any doubts about our abilities Please feel free to inspect Jalopy One over there. He motions towards Ardens ETA 2 on the pad nearby We understand your IFF is as old as the one that ship uses, so we should be able to take good care of her for you. If you'll excuse me we can get started. You can take the lift on the left to the command bridge, I'm sure the Admiral would like to meet with you."

Cade briefly looks the Deck Officer over as the man is speaking, then glances at Jalopy One. "Pleased to meet you, Chief. I'm Cade, and this..." He gestures to Ailyn. "is Ailyn. She's the diplomat." From their appearance, it would be easy for a non-Jedi to think that Ailyn is the Jedi, and Cade merely the ship's captain, as neither carry a visible lightsaber, and Ailyn looks the stereo-typical part, while Cade is wearing armor and carrying an alternative weapon. Cade looks over Jalopy One again. "I don't have any doubts about your technician's skill, but, to my knowledge, this ship is the only one of it's type ever built. I think my astromech is the only one with a complete technical readout of it, other than the ship's dedicated computer. He's been a part of the design team from the beginning. I'd be very appreciative if you would let him direct the repair team as not everything is assembled in the most logical order." Ailyn speaks up, her gaze resting on the Chief Johnson. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Chief Johnson. We don't know exactly how severe the damage is. The rear port blaster cannon had had it's power cell knocked out of proper alignment. The damage control systems didn't have any idea on what was wrong with the hyperspace engines, but on watching our recording of the battle, it seems that the ship was struck by an ion bolt directly on the starboard hyperspace engine at the exact moment we entered hyperspace. I believe all of the other malfunctioning systems are a result of that strike."
Meanwhile, Shadow listens with interest as BoB relates the information. As BoB asks about the jump through time, Shadow answers affirmatively, saying that one minute they were entering hyper-space to flee the Coruscant defense fleet, the next they were in orbit at their programmed destination, but much farther forward in time.

A Lambda Class Shuttle arrives out of hyperspace and nears Haruun Kal. Home of the CUF. The pilot, Cpt. Henderson, settles the shuttle along a polar orbit following the Magnetic poles from South to North. Capt Henderson adjusts the navicomputer and puts it on auto pilot, at a nice slow speed. Behind him in the hold, are 25 new potential Jedi Initiates. Two Torgutas, four humans, four Devaronians, four Rodians, six Wookies, one Trandoshan, two Green Twileks, two Red Twileks, one blue twilek, two Ithorians, one Rakata, one Pure-Blood Sith, one Hutt. Capt Henderson transmits his vessel and ID signature to the High Council Chambers of the CUF marked urgent and top secret for CUF council memebers eyes only.
=Capt. Henderson= This is Capt Henderson of the Jedi Forge. I request permission to land in the hangar bay of the Jedi Temple. I am carrying 25 new promising Jedi Initiates for training at the Temple.

:Capt. Henderson, this is Jedi Master Urias Fenris. You have permission to land in the hangar bay. Someone will meet the shuttle.
Capt Henderson vectored the shuttle off the orbit, and toward Jedi Temple. The shuttle descended into the atmosphere and veered toward the temple.

The shuttle Jedi Forge enters hyperspace for Onderan a few minutes before the Night Hawk ascends to high orbit. Master Urias vectors the ship toward the Dantooine node and inputs the coordinates for hyperspace. Rashan and L'awre are in the starboard quarters resting. As soon as the coordinates are entered the freighter enters hyperspace.

(Chief Johnson) "Well ma'am, sir, I think with the technical readout your droid has we can get you up and running in no time.
As the humanoids were talking BoB had been discussing the various shifts of power throughout the galaxy with Shadow, trying to fill the other droid in on several hundred years of history. The nice things about droids is that they don't have all those pesky emotions that clog up the facts of history. People remember things far differently from droids just because of the emotions they felt at the time, or how the memories make them feel. BoB had no emotional struggles when telling Shadow about the fall of the Jedi due to the great purge, or about how the Empire destroyed Alderaan and a host of other things the Empire had done while it was in power. He did not feel sad or happy about the deconstruction of the death stars or the rise of the New Republic. He also passed on information about the Republic Rebuilt, the current rendition of the new republic as well as the other empires on the rise, the return of the Sith and the various Jedi groups throughout the galaxy and those joining together to rebuild the Jedi Order. All in all it was a pretty big history lesson to cram into such a short time, but droids process things faster than humans.
(Johnson) "If you'll excuse me, I'll see to it that we follow your droids instructions. Again, second lift on the right will take you to the command deck."

"Thank you, Chief." Cade nods to the man, then he and Ailyn walk to the specified turbo-lift. Once inside, Cade presses the button for the command deck. after a fe seconds of travel, the doors open to the command deck. Cade and AIlyn step out and look around the unfamiliar design, waiting for someone to approach them.

Dillion sees the lift open and the two visitors step out, he walks over to them.
"Greetings folks, I am Admiral Walsh. Welcome to The Watchman, flagship of the Himura fleet under the command of Jedi Master Arden Brandwyn of the Council of the Unified Force which is the Jedi Council in control here on Haruun Kal. Anyway, welcome aboard. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask, I'll show you to the guest quarters when your ready."
