"Thank you for your hospitality, Admiral." Cade nods politely to Admiral Walsh, prefering to let Ailyn do the talking. As he does so, he struggles to recall where he has heard the name of the Jedi Master before. after a brief pause, Ailyn speaks again. "Admiral, would it be possible to get a briefing on the time we've missed?"

"Of course, please come with me."
Walsh escorts his guests into the captain's planning room, the place with all the holo emiters Arden had set up to enable the fleet to coordinate it's movements. He motioned for his guests to take a seat as he himself sat down and activated the main console. The console was set to the time Master Brandwyn had last been observing, the Order 66 invasion of the Jedi Temple. Apparently Arden had been researching the event to see if he could locate other Jedi that might have survived. His goal was to track down their descendants and test them for Force awareness to help rebuild the jedi order.
"So, what was happening at the time you made your hypertim jump exactly? If I knew when exactly you came from it will help me program the system to give the proper briefing. Currently it seems Master Brandwyn was looking over his escape from the Great Purge before the Galactic Civil War. So, he says as he resets the system when was your jump?"

Cade and Ailyn follow the Admiral, and as he asks them about the specifics of the events that had launched them into the future they look at each other briefly, and then Cade speaks. "Honestly, I'm not sure of the exact timing, so I'll give you the short version of what I remember about that night, and maybe you can sort it out." Cade pauses briefly. "I remember waking up as the Temple shook from the drop pods hitting the roof. I wasn't a regular visitor to the Temple, as I was assigned to bring supplies from one Jedi storehouse to where it was needed on the front lines. At the time, I was quartered on one of the top floors, so I didn't have to contend with the regulars of the 501st, at least to begin with. The special ops soldiers entering from the roof cut me off from virtually everything else in the Temple, so I made my way to the hanger. Ailyn was already there, along with the astromech, and so we took off in an attempt to flee. We escaped the planetary shields, but then we were engaged by a Venator-class star destroyer. As I engaged the jump to hyperspace, it struck us with an EMP blast. We exited the jump here."

Walsh listens to the story carefully for a while before realizing which temple and attack the man was talking about. The Admiral nodded in understanding as the story was told and reactivated the console, going to the recorded events from the time of Order 66 and the Civil War. When Cade had finished his recounting of events the admiral pressed a button on the console.
"You've been away far longer than you realize I'm afraid. Please, make yourselves comfortable, you have a lot to catch up on. The console will brief you on all major galactic events from the 501st invasion of the temple up to present day, but we are talking ...clears throat ... please, just watch the presentation."
Walsh excuses himself and makes his way to the communications officer.
"Com, get me in touch with Master Brandwyn asap."
Walsh sends a message to Arden, informing him of what he has just heard and telling him what the visitors are seeing now. Arden sends a response saying he will arrive shortly.

Cade salutes the Admiral, and Ailyn curtsys to him as he excuses himself. Cade switches his helmet camera on to record the briefing as it starts. As it passes through the time that the pair have skipped, Cade makes notes of time frames and information to take a closer look at later.

The Katana Class Scout dropped out of hyperspace and entered vectored toward Haruun Kal. The pilot, Padawan Torran Pantis, put the ship in line with a polar orbit of the planet. The co-pilot keyed the comm system, and sent the ID signature to the landing authorities of Haruun Kal.
:This is Jedi Master Tirria Fenris and Padawan Torran Pantis. I am requesting to land at the Temple.:

Arden's shuttle arrives in the hangar, with the Jedi Master onboard. After the shuttle docks Arden leaves and makes his way to the command deck to meet his guest.
"Good day admiral, have our guests been catching up on the events they've missed?"
"Yes sir, they are just over there."
Arden nods and heads over to Cade and Ailyn.
"Welcome honored guests, I hope they have been treating you well."

Cade and Ailyn look up as the new arrival approaches and greets them. Cade stretches out tentatively with the Force to sense the other man's Force signature. It is not one that he recognizes, but there is something faintly familiar about it. He nods his head respectfully towards the other Jedi, as Ailyn curtsies. If Arden were in the upper levels of the Jedi Temple the night of Order 66, he would immediately recognize the armor Cade is wearing as that which the troopers executing the Order wore. Neither of them have a lightsaber visible, but Cade has his carbine clipped to his right thigh-plate. If one examines Ailyn through the Force, it is readily apparent that her body is in-organic, but she has a faint Force presence as well, a echoing shadow of a normal human. On the other hand, Cade's Force presence is clear to all who can sense such things; an icy cold aura that is only present in one who has prepared for war their whole life, tinged with faint flickers of other emotions restrained beneath the surface. Ailyn and Cade share a glance, and, as usual, she speaks up, identifying the man from the holo-records they have just watched. "The pleasure is ours, Master Brandwyn. Your crew have been perfect hosts. I am Ailyn, and this is Capt..." As Ailyn finishes introducing herself, and begins to introduce Cade as Captain Cade Devereaux, he cuts her off. "Jedi Knight Cade Devereaux, semi-exile."

:Master Fenris, We know it is your ship as soon as you transmitted your ID signature. For future reference you are free to come and go as you please.:
The Dockmaster rolled his eyes and shook his head and punched the clearance and ok for her to land.

Master Tirria vectored the Katana Scout toward the planet. It had been some time since she last was here. She anticipated some changes, but not much. She figured they had a change at the dockmaster position, for did not remember him being so short or annoyed. She proceeded to the Temple outside of Pelek Baw.

Out of Hyperspace came a CUF Katana Class Scout, which de-cloaked. Kyja then transmitted the ID signature and sent a transmission to the dockmaster.
Comlink: This is Redeemed Padawan Kyja formerly of the Council of the Unified Force requesting permission to land in the Temple Hangar. I have with me another Jedi Knight named Kavika, and a Redeemed Sith: Lord Sek'nos Sarthon. I am a former student of Jedi Master Urias Fenris who is on the Council of the CUF. We will enter into high equatorial orbit and await permission to land.

Arden smirks at the term semi-exile and offers a bow to his guests.
"There are no more exiles my friend, too much has happened, as you can see, to allow us to divide ourselves in such a way anymore."
Arden thinks long on the man's name and tries to remember where he had heard it before.
"If memory serves us, as it sometimes fails to do these days, I think I recall my Master having mentioned you once or twice while we were in hiding all those years ago. I was the padawan of Jedi Master Warek Mychi, though he did not take me as a padawan until after we escaped the temple. We were in hiding within it's walls for several days."

Cade laughs. "There are always exiles, some by personal choice." Cade looks Arden over again, then removes his helmet. He has short brown hair, with traces that it had been neatly combed at one point, although it is currently in a state of disarray. He has stubble, evidence that he hasn't had a chance to shave recently. A thoughtful look crosses his face. "I vaguely recall Master Mychi, although I never spent much time at the Temple." He strokes the stubble on his chin. "Now I remember where I felt your Force signature before. I'm glad you were able to escape the Temple. Of course, that was a much shorter time in the past for me than it was for you." Ailyn stands quietly, accessing the Jedi Temple security footage from the night of Order 66 that is stored in her data-banks.

The dockmaster sighed. He thought it was interesting to say the least. However, he knew the procedure entailed notifying someone from the council. Master Arden was away in orbit on secret business, but Master Urias might want to know. He knew that Lady Fenris was not a member of the council for CUF, but still was a Master. So he secretly sent her a message to meet the new arrivals at the temple hangar.
:Lord Sarthon, you and your party are to land in the Temple Hangar. You are to remain in the vessel until security sweeps the ship. Also, it is always good lost sheep come back to the pen. Once temple security has cleared your ship you will disembark and a CUF representative will meet you and escort you to where you need to go:
The dockmaster also notified temple security to send a squad to sweep the vessel once it landed.

The Night Hawk came out of Hyperspace and vectored toward the planet. Ahead of him was the CUF Katana Scout of Kyja, getting ready to proceed to the Temple Hangar. He engaged the com system to the Dockmaster.
:Dockmaster. This is Council Member, Master Urias Fenris. I will follow that scout to the Hangar. Temple security is not required for this, and therefore I countermand that request. I will examine the ship personally:
Urias then directed his com system to Kyja's channel.
:Padawan Kyja, this is Master Urias. You and your party are to proceed to the Temple Hangar. I will follow you in:
=Dockmaster= The dockmaster was only following the procedure he thought best and was stung by the countermand by Urias. Yet he let it go. HE did not think it wise to get in a verbal spat with a respected member of the CUF.
Urias guided the Night Hawk to the planet and began to descend into the atmosphere tailing the Katana Scout by 1,000m.

Lord Sarthon guided the Katana Class scout down into the planet's atmosphere. He had not been to the planet and marvelled at the beauty of it as they descended with Master Fenris behind him.

"Indeed, it has been a very long time since then for me and much has happened, as you can see by the briefing screen here. I wonder, id there anything else you have questions about that might not be covered in the records?"
Arden takes a seat at the table, motioning for a droid to enter and taking a cup of tea from it.
"Sorry, I'd hate to think my friends here did not offer you refreshments while you studied the history you missed. Please, help yourselves."

Cade looks the serving droid over. "I've never really been the tea and biscuits type." Ailyn glances at Cade, then sits at the table two seats away from Arden. "I think the records provided enough information." Cade leans forward against the table between Arden and Ailyn. "I would like to know more about this 'Council of the Unified Force' though."

Arden settles into his chair, resting his cup of tea on the saucer provided.
"If tea is not your speed then by all means order whatever is. I have a fine collection of vintage Adleraanian brandy as well as a cache of Alderaanian wine from the Brandwyn Vineyards. Both from Alderaan and New Alderaan stock. Of course we also have plenty of other things, not everyone has the same taste and we try to take that into consideration on a ship such as this."
Arden sips some tea and waves his hand, a few moments later another droid appears and sets a list of available food and drinks on the console then steps back waiting for an order.
"I suppose that we can move on from the hospitality and get into the business end of things. The Council of the Unified Force, as it is now, is the second of such councils to exist. The first was founded by myself, Master Murdock Shan and several others on Dantooine. We attempted the arrest of every sith on Korriban and were subsequently thrown into a grand war that left us searching for a new temple. We came here to Haruun Kal and refurished the temple and reformed our council. We are now part of the New Jedi Order but we do not get involved in the politics of the galaxy. Instead we are the peacekeepers. We learned valuable lessons from the wars of the past as well as what our ambitions can lead to and have decided to take a step back from the front lines. Now, when we hear of war breaking out anywhere we aim to find a peaceful solution, however you can see from our ships that we are not without our defenses..." as he says defenses, he motions to a porthole that looks out across Haruun Kal to the Kal Corp ship yards where the grand SSD "The Unity" sits in space dock being refit with a new layer of hull armor. "...we simple do our best to to prevent the loss of lives in any way we can."
Arden sits back and sips his tea, again setting it back on the saucer.
"If you have any questions or desire anything else please let me know, but I must inform you of my plans to redirect this ship to Dantooine to investigate a disturbance there. It seems several militaryesque detachments have arrived and are interfering with one of this councils training classes... and I have wanted to revisit the enclave there for some time, pick up a few things that I left behind and such. You're welcome to travel with us."

Cade looks at the menu the droid has brought, and selects a glass of water. "It's been a long time since I was on Dantooine, even discounting the hyperspace malfunction." Cade looks out the porthole at the Super Star Destroyer. "Well, that sure is something. I don't remember running into any ships that big before." While Cade is looking out the window, Ailyn leans a little closer to Arden, and quietly speaks. "I apologize if Cade seems rude. In the time I've been working with him, he's always been more aloof to others than most of the other Jedi I've met over the years. My best guess is that it had something to do with his training." As she speaks, if Arden is using his Force senses, he would instantly notice that Ailyn is not a living being, although there is a strange echo of sentient life radiating throughout the synthetic body from her chest, where her data crystal chip is located.
