To me, it's not about winning or losing this debate concerning Pookie's birthday celebration, it's more about the whole being there for him, more about showing to him that no matter what he has gone through, no matter the difficulties, all of us are going to be there for him. It's how I feel, after I cannot speak for everyone present but, showing someone that we care, it should be perfect enough. So what if he has a reason for not making a big deal out of his birthday? It is all in the past, and this is now. Right now for me, it's to give him some fun, something else to think about than what his cousins are going through. Nevertheless, I do smile at Gorgeous, grateful that she does see my point and I wink at her playfully before glancing at both Ayodele and Crystal. Just when I look at Baby Girl, I sneeze once on the side before rolling my eyes. "Baby girl, stop talking about me, I warn her playfully before looking at Ayodele who says that she is lucky that Pookie does indeed listen. Indeed, but from time to time you need to twist his arm. It depends on the circumstances, that much I admit, but I am looking at Pookie this time with a knowing smirk. What Baby Girl said, don't cheat ..." Wait why am I asking him not to cheat?
Looking at Crystal dubiously wondering about the cheating deal, although apparently if he does cheat, however he can, I can traumatize him, okay then ... Works for me, I don't need a solid reason to do that. Taking a sip of my cocktail and looking back at Lana and Elika, they really are adorable together and even Ayodele seems to concur with my statement, but it appears that she doesn't know how to bake a cake, well then ordering it should be the way to go ... "C'mon!, Glancing at hot stuff faking a jaded expression, I sigh on the spot when I find out that Ares does know how to make a cake. Is there even someone in your family, I am pointing at both baby girl and hot stuff clearly because it's their family that I am talking about. who doesn't know how to cook?" That sole situation is aggravating, I have that task to do, cook for a solid week if I even want to plan a baby shower or a bachelorette party, then I find out that Ares also knows how to bake at least?
"Someone has to explain to me how doctors or even a financial manager can find the time to learn how to cook. Downing my drink because clearly this is just something that I have a hard time to wrap my mind around. Okay sure perhaps that I can very well learn too but it is too time consuming for me to cook for half an hour or even longer. You, Solaris siblings, are putting all of us to shame, Looking at both Delaana and Ayodele dubiously, I cannot help but to ask. Please tell me that you two are a desperate case too when it comes to cooking a gourmet meal?"

Delaana smiled knowingly when she saw Elika's look after Lily had complimented them, again she had no idea what to say right then and there, but something did caught her attention. Lily winning? What was that all about that? Lana looked dubious for a moment before blinking once to let Elika know that she didn't need to share if she had no wish to do so. After all something told her that this was something between Elika and Lily and she didn't want to interfere so to speak.
Only when Elika had been done taking a bite from the food that Delaana had been holding did she notice that both Crystal and Ayodele were there with them, and she smiled warmly before focusing her attention back onto Elika, staying close to her because it was nice to be there. "My Shakal, even the dip came out of a packet?" Delaana asked playfully although she was unconvinced by that but if Elika said so, then she only had that choice to believe her. "You are still the one who rearranged all of this, therefore it makes it even more mouthwatering to look at." Winking at her before smiling warmly, Lana turned to look at both Ayodele and her boss who seemed to be whispering to one another.
Despite the faint note of concern she had heard in Elika's tone, Lana was pretty sure that nothing was troublesome really but it did not stop Lana from squeezing Elika's hand to reassure her. Thanks to Ayodele who had confirmed Lana's assumption, there was nothing to be worried about, instead the matter being discussed was cake. Laughing soon enough at Ryan's alternative and Lily's reaction, Lana pursed her lips with an amused grin looking at the attorney playfully. "Passion for it, perhaps?" Delaana suggested thoughtfully glancing from Crystal to Ryan, but something told her that Lily had only meant that statement in jest anyways, one that didn't need a reply, but soon the attention was on Lana and her skill to cook. "I wouldn't go as far as saying I can cook a fine gourmet meal like the one I had back in TaSpa!," It was already a good reference anyways, so that it would be easier to understand. "But I can manage, if and when it is necessary for me to cook." Lana had at least to teach herself, having lived on her own for a while anyways and really not wanting to depend on food rations, she had to learn and she was still learning.

Crystal had poked her tongue out playfully as a retort for Lily's statement to stop talking about her. Well, how could Crystal not talk about her when she was the lawyer and she had a certain leverage and Franz was playfully scared of Lily anyways. Any excuse is a good excuse especially if it would prevent Franz from listening because she knew he could do that. Crystal looked back at Ayodele when she replied to that infamous question about cake. Unfortunately for them all, Ayodele didn't know either. Well, Crystal had that choice to improvise, although that was just a sacrilege when she thought about it.
"Yes, sweetie, everything is alright, no drama day, remember?" Crystal smiled warmly to reassure Elika before glancing at Ayodele who was providing the answer to what they were discussing about a few seconds ago. Crystal looked at Elika with a warm smile and perhaps she would explain later why she was whispering to begin with, as there was a chance that not all of them knew that Franz had that kind of mastery in terms of listening farther than most. "I could send a message to Atlantis so that he does get one on his way back here?" She suggested thoughtfully but she had noticed from the corner of her eyes that Ryan seemed to be busting out some moves which made her smile and he had come over to offer an alternative.
Ares baking a cake.
"If he is up for it, then why not otherwise there is still Atlantis who is in the currently in the city." As much as she would like to give a little hard time to her other brother, Crystal was certain that he was going to be exhausted anyways due to his trip from Honoghr to here, but where were her manners, she looked at Ayodele with a knowing smile before explaining. "Atlantis, my boyfriend, he should be here later." Before she could carry on though, Lily seemed to go into an aggravated streak, mood or whatever. Both of Crystal's eyebrows shot up in amusement before she rolled her eyes playfully.
"My mom," Crystal was pretty sure that Lily would know about that because Crystal did not learn to cook from her mother at all, who she had learned it from, it wasn't something she was going to say it out loud because again it was a no drama day and she didn't even want to speak Virgil's name when she knew what kind of reaction Ryan would have to that. "Either way, it would take a few hours to make that. So," She looked at her brother there with a knowing smile. "If Ares is indeed up for it then why not, if not then you will have to find other ways to kick his ass so to speak, but I am sure you are full of ideas, fratello, therefore I am not worried." Crystal laughed softly before turning to Ayodele once more with a grateful smile. "Thank you for the answer, I do not wish to hold you up longer than necessary, and I am sure that Pookie is anxious to have you back." Laughing softly, she looked over to where Franz was sunbathing and smiled affectionately at the man.

Noticing Delaana's inquisitive expression when Lily winks after Elikapeka concedes her point about celebrating Franz's birthday, Elika waves a hand and rolls her eyes with a smile to let Delaana know that the exchange between her and Lily is not one that really merits recounting. Nodding to confirm that the dip came out of a packet, Elika clarifies, "I sliced the veggies, cheeses, and fruits, and arranged everything on the trays, my Ceesi, but making dip from scratch is beyond my humble talents, so, she shrugs and crinkles her nose, I cheated and used a packet. Smiling when she feels Delaana give her hand a reassuring squeeze, Elika nods with a laugh as she tells Crystal, I remember hon', and then furrows her brows theatrically as she teases, but I have to confess that I have some serious doubts about whether or not we actually succeed in making it through the day with no drama with our group." Laughing and shaking her head with her free hand raised to convey that she is only kidding, Elika moves closer to Delaana and rests her head on her shoulder while listening to Ryan's idea about seeing if Ares might be able to solve the cake dilemma when he arrives.
Smiling as she watches Delaana's eyes and lips while answering Lily's question about whether or not she or Delaana are as hopeless as she is where preparing gourmet quality meals is concerned, Elika shakes her head when it is her turn to answer, smiling as she looks at Lily and lifts her free hand, thumb keeping her sleeve from riding down, and confirms, "If it doesn't come out of a box or package, I'm pretty much useless in the kitchen too. Crinkling her nose, she amends her statement, Well, I can manage pasta sauce, she looks over at Delaana and smiles smittenly as she adds, with the right co-chef anyway. Leaning in to rub noses with Delaana while giving her hand a squeeze, Elika holds up her free hand when Crystal tells Ayodele that Franz is probably eager to have her back, playfully saying, Hold on now, Pookie has had her all to himself so far. Resting her chin on Delaana's shoulder, Elika looks over towards Ayodele and winks as she adds teasingly, Now might be our only chance to grill her and see if she meets with our approval and everything. Glancing over at Lily with a playfully arched eyebrow, Elika says, I'm surprised someone hasn't started the questioning already. Looking back at Ayodele, Elika waves her free hand to convey that she is only joking, and says, Don't let me keep you, I'm sure we'll all have plenty of opportunities to get to know one another better."

I know that Gorgeous is joking about us actually succeeding in having a no drama day, but really sinceriously, we need this no drama day. "Have a little faith Gorgeous, will you? Winking playfully at her before smiling faintly, because I am currently in deep thought, I do have to admit, to myself at least, that there is a chance that Ares might bring a whole different drama with him and honestly since I do not know the guy that well, I am in no position to tell him off, although knowing myself, I may still tell him off for speaking about something that will entail some drama, and really we should avoid that at all cost on this very day. I have declared this day a no drama day and no one should start bursting my bubble, because, well ... You don't want to see that." Laughing at my words, although there is a big truth in that, I just don't want my bikini fantasy to be ruined, plus I am grilling. So please, whoever is listening, the powers that be out there, just allow us to have a no drama day, thank you!
I am quite aware that baby girl hasn't learned how to cook from her mom since her mom is pretty much like me, but enough about that, and I find comfort, if only a little from the fact that Gorgeous is pretty much like me and the Hapan Bombshell does know a little but no where near Baby Girl's caliber, I am guessing since Lana has admitted that she couldn't do the dish that she had eaten yesterday. Well then that answers it for the couple there, but I am still wondering about Ayodele ... The reason why I have my gaze turned in her direction and I am looking at her dubiously before overhearing Baby Girl telling her that perhaps Pookie is anxious to have her back and Gorgeous is wondering why no one is grilling Pookie's date just yet, and I look at Elika with an amused expression, because indeed that would be my style but ...
"My dearest and sweetest Gorgeous, our approval or not, do you really think Pookie would care about what we think to begin with when this is his life? I ask her rhetorically with an amused chuckle but considering that for the time being Pookie is still mandated to Gorgeous, I am pretty sure that we might see more of Ayodele anyways. Although, she does have a point on all accounts, we care about the man and I clearly saw that you like him too, Smiling knowingly at Ayodele as after all, I have seen Pookie making her laugh from my brief glances here and there in their direction earlier. Just be patient with him please, he can be a little awkward and insecure but his heart is in the right place. I am sure that you already know that. Or perhaps Ayodele hasn't been aware of that to begin with, but now she is fully aware of that, either way, all of us here, at least Crystal, Elika and I do care a lot for the man, and I also know that his cousins do as well. But, Gorgeous is right, I am sure that indeed we shall have plenty of time to get to know one another better later on, Pookie might really be anxious to have you back."

"Well, you will have to tell me where you have bought this packet, because it is good." Lana said softly as she gently caressed Elika's hand that was on her waist before turning her attention onto Crystal, Elika and Lily mainly who was warning so to speak that no one should burst her bubble. Lana had an inkling on what no one should be seeing and she made a theatrical face at that. "No bubble bursting from me, I promise." Lana solemnly said raising her free hand to convey that she was going to uphold her said promise. She could understand why everyone had been calling for a no drama day, perhaps for Andros' benefit over there, for everyone really since tomorrow was going to be the start of a new week and she was already apprehending the things she might be hearing in the government building.
No doubt most, if not all would show support to their Vice Governor and also to their CFO because Crystal was after all in a relationship with the Headmaster of the Mist Order, added to that, Lana was very certain that the legal department was... Well Lana didn't even want to think about that.
Thankfully though, the thoughts she was having faded away when Elika mentioned having the right co-chef when it came to making a pasta sauce, Lana smiled warmly before winking at her and pecking Elika's lips softly and quickly as she gave Elika's hand another squeeze especially when Lana felt that Elika had rested her chin onto her shoulder. "You've had me all for yourself so far as well, my Shakal, not that I am complaining, mind you." Nibbling faintly the corner of her lower lip, Delaana looked at Ayodele with a faint chuckle before looking over towards Franz who was just sunbathing.
Considering that she didn't know much about Franz, and had only spent some time with him yesterday, from what Lily was saying, she very well could tell that the women here deeply cared for him, and Lily even went as far as saying a few things to Ayodele which made Lana smile in support to the woman she didn't know as much either.

Elika did have a point, even though Crystal knew that she was joking, what truly were the chances of having a no drama day? Well, on her side, she'd do whatever it took to have some reprieve from yesterday's drama and it included whatever Ares came here to talk to her and Ryan about. Lily being Lily, sounded like she was making that law, which Crystal was grateful for as she laughed at her childhood friend's words. "The Relentless One has spoken, no bubble bursting or she'll go..." Crystal shuddered at the thought and even made a face before adding on. "Lawyer mode."
Whether Lily would do it or not, actually Crystal wouldn't be surprised at all, after all when Lily wanted something, she'd do whatever it took to make it happen, and Crystal was certain that most of them if not all could speak from experience but in any case, Crystal gave Lana a grateful smile when she promised that there would be no drama from her, which was comforting but it wasn't really the people that were present right now that Crystal was worried about, it was more about the others that weren't here yet.
Experience again indicated that often times when she somewhat had a bad feeling about something she couldn't put her finger on, it might happen, but since she didn't want to be a downer and think about that, she only took a deep breath to collect her thoughts and turn them into something peaceful by clearing her mind and locking away the things she'd have to revisit the next day.
Crystal soon looked towards Elika soon enough when she started to tease Ayodele, which caused her to smile warmly. If Crystal didn't know any better, Elika somewhat seemed different, usually she wouldn't be the type to engage in a conversation with someone she barely knew, but it looked like with Lana around also, Elika seemed freer or lighter, someway, somehow. That was exactly what made Crystal smile before shaking her head playfully and looking at Ayodele with an amused smile. "Sweetie, I seem to recall that Pookie was supposedly under your protection, no? So knowing that Lily won't be able to help herself at some point and that you have promised to protect Pookie's tender eyes and innocent ears, are you two going to tag team soon?" Crystal asked playfully before rolling her eyes teasingly and looking at Ayodele warmly.
"Don't mind them, they both care deeply for Franz, and apparently I often play the referee, so if you overhear any of them calling me mom, don't be surprised." Crystal rolled her eyes again before taking a sip of her drink and placing the glass down on the bar. "But what they both said, and again if you do need anything, ask Pookie, he'll point you in the right directions, he knows this place pretty well."

Some might find it uncomfortable to find themselves amidst a group of friends that are quite obviously very close, or feel out of place as those close friends banter together with the flowing ease afforded to those who know one another so well and are so comfortable with one another; but Ayodele, having, due to nature as much as necessity, spent a great deal of her life standing apart from species other than her own, observing them from the outside yet never, until relatively recently, walking among them, exhibits no discomfort, and only the sense of amusement that is so often evident in her demeanor.
Nodding when Crystal explains that the Atlantis that had been mentioned is her paramour, and that he will be joining the gathering later, Ayodele smiles a bemused smile when Crystal then suggests that Franz might be missing her after their quite brief separation, and then laughs merrily when Elikapeka jests about the fact that Crystal's dismissal would rob them all of the opportunity to subject Ayodele to an inquisition of sorts bent on gauging her ability to meet with their approval. Having observed humans enough to have anticipated the possibility that Franz's friends might, at some point, overtly or covertly endeavor to gain a feel for her and for her intentions where Franz are concerned, Ayodele knows that there is more likely than not some truth behind the jokes, and, as she has, at least where her intentions are concerned, nothing to hide, exhibits only her customary, easy, poised amusement as she tells Elikapeka, "Questions are a tried and true means of learning more of one another, so please, feel free to ask any you might have whenever they arise. Looking over towards Lily, Ayodele smiles as she assures her, I have seen what you would have me see, yes, and know well what you would have me know. Franz has nothing to fear from me, Ayodele adds with her amused smile and a tone that reveals the seriousness of her statement. Looking back at Crystal, Ayodele laughs lyrically as she nods in agreement with Crystal's assertion that Lily and Elikapeka care deeply for Franz, saying, That is plain to see, and . . . telling. Looking over a shoulder towards where Franz is sunbathing, an enigmatic smile on her face, Ayodele feels a momentary pang of doubt; sincerely questioning whether can she truly be sure that she will not invite pain and suffering into Franz's life given what she is and what lays in her past. Not intentionally, Ayodele concludes after a moment of introspection, of that she can be sure; but whether or not that justifies her decision to open herself to Franz as she has, with all the attendant risks to her and to him, is something she resolves to reflect upon more before permitting things to move long further than they have. Pushing her thoughts aside, Ayodele turns back to the bar and smiles her amused smile as she says, We would not want Pookie to get too anxious, would we? I had best go check on him. Before turning to walk back to her chair beside Franz, Ayodele looks at Elikapeka and Lily, joking, You know where to find me should you think of any of those questions."
Laying on her seat, Ayodele shades her eyes with an arm as she looks over to Franz and smiles as she says playfully, "Oh good, you have not succumbed to anxiety in my absence. Your friends were concerned, Ayodele explains, her tone more warm than amused as she says, They care greatly for you, Franz. Her tone becoming playful once more even though the sentiment she gives voice to is quite sincere, Ayodele says, I shall have to be careful not to harm you, shall I not?"

Andros was comfortably laying there against the glaring sun, and he had to admit, this was a nice change to the fast pace or just work he usually endured. Doing nothing, not having any obligations or responsibilities on this very day, and most of the people he truly cared about were present. He knew, nonetheless, that he couldn't quite avoid those said obligations and responsibilities, until at the very least he resigned from his position and was exonerated from the crimes he supposedly committed.
That was going to be the next step for him; to resign.
He'd have to talk with Raan first and foremost, but even that prospect wasn't something he was really looking forward to. The whole not communicating thing, to what had been happening to him and whatever, it's something that Andros was starting to look at disdain. Andros still took everything all in, because it was the right thing to do; but perhaps he should start being selfish and only think about himself when obviously this planet was starting to wear him down.
But whatever.
Looking up when he saw Elika and then she gave him a gentle, quick and subtle squeeze on his shoulder, he just looked at her silently and just watched her go inside the lakehouse until she came back and started to talk with the women, plus Ryan over there at the bar. He furrowed his eyebrows for a brief moment and looked at the woman that was very unfamiliar to him. Andros didn't know Ayodele at all, he clearly didn't know anything about her, but he supposed that he would refer to Franz's judgment about her, all Andros could tell was; she seemed to be getting along with the architect, the lawyer and the chief financial officer, so any red flags, he was certain that at least Crystal, if not Lily could tell.
Well that was good enough for Andros, instead he finally stood up from his lounge seat and removed his shirt entirely, not caring at this point if his scars all over his torso was showing, he wasn't Atlantis, so the self-consciousness about those, Andros somewhat didn't care, and with that he picked up his comlink and requested silently to the Deputy Director to deactivate the electrical surges because he wanted to get into the pool. As he got the confirmation, Andros walked over towards the bar and picked up one of the crackers to munch on it. "I take it she has all of your approvals?" Andros asked in his customary tone and indeed he meant Ayodele, he turned to look at her and Franz over there, since he no longer had his cuffs activated, he was going to take this chance to gauge her.
Opening himself up to the Force, he first got a reading from the people that were closest to him in the premises and he expanded his awareness to where Franz was, he knew the man's signature, as for Ayodele, it appeared she also had that spark that said she was attuned to the Force too; to what degree? Andros had no idea but he already knew enough, he furrowed his eyebrows and cut his connection to the Force before chuckling faintly. "Well... If required to understand Franz's calling, it would be her..." Andros said nonchalantly before shrugging slightly and turning to look at the pool and ran straight in its direction to dive in directly.

Despite Franz's curiosity of wanting to listen to what they were saying over there by the bar, he decided against that and just closed his eyes while trying to sense hopefully the impending arrival of his other cousin, but each time he would open himself up to the Force, he'd only feel her, and that was a facet of her that he was branding to his mind, to his senses so that he hopefully could find her whenever he wanted to see her.
Each time though that someone had his or her gaze in his direction, it was as if he could feel it and therefore from time to time he looked in the direction of the bar catching Crystal's warm smile and he returned her smile with his own sheepish grin until he noticed that Ayodele was coming back in his direction after she had clearly, from the sound of it, told them that they knew where to find her if and when a question was needed to be asked.
Laying on his side to look at Ayodele so that he could at least talk with her more comfortably, if there was such thing, he shaded his own eyes with his hand and chuckled. "Maybe I am just that good in hiding how I truly feel, but then again something tells me that you would have known if I were truly anxious." Franz smiled warmly, letting her interpret that, but at least that pretty much said that he knew that she too was sensitive, at least that was a new finding for him today since yesterday he wasn't even aware of that due to the fact that he really wasn't paying attention to that aspect of things.
Instead, he had been reeling to that feeling where he was in her presence, just like he was now. Her sincere comment made him look towards the bar and he smiled warmly looking at the women there and even Andros and Ryan who were with the women. "I wasn't lying yesterday when I told you that they were like sisters to me when you referred to them as my striking female friends." Franz chuckled at the memory of yesterday before laying on his back again with a faint smile. "I still do not believe that you could commit a faux pas, so in terms of harming, perhaps I will be the one doing so, unintentionally of course, but trust me, I am sure that I will be in deep trouble too since from the looks of it they like you." It was the general atmosphere he could perceive from the looks and the exchanges he had seen between all of them, of course it was the three women who lived in this place that did most of the talking from what he saw, but either way, he was pretty sure that they did appreciate Ayodele too.
"I take it you had fun speaking with them?" Franz asked dubiously with a faint smile, his head turned in her direction. "Something also tells me that you are plotting something..." He playfully said with a faint chuckle, it was indeed Lily's style more in particular, and Elika along with Crystal in cahoots, he wasn't surprised about that.

Pointing at baby girl and giving her a thumbs up when she factually describes what would happen if someone dares to burst my bubble, I look over the Hapan Bombshell with a knowing smile before blinking once as a thanks really because if there is one thing that I would feel bad about, it's the fact that this day that looks promising insofar turns sourly in a matter of seconds, and I don't want that at all. Also remembering Pookie telling us that Ayodele doesn't seem to know who most of us are, therefore it only makes me assume that she doesn't follow the news, I really do not want to make her leave this place with a bad image or just that overall feeling of concern and worry, I really do want for everyone herewith present to just have fun.
Smiling warmly at Ayodele who indeed confirms my assumption that she already knows that much about Franz, I can tell that she is sincere and also means what she is saying, I am very grateful for that. "And you have nothing to fear from him either. I tell Ayodele sincerely and meaningfully, from what I know of Franz, he is funny, he is caring and chivalrous to boot too, after that is between Ayodele and Franz, as far as I am concerned right now, I have nothing but good vibes from Ayodele. I believe it is best if you two just talk with one another for the day, but if questions do arise, we shall let you know." Laughing softly and tilting my head on the side slightly just to watch both Ayodele and Franz for a moment, I turn my gaze away from them with that obvious smile until I notice Boss Man walking in our direction and I am surprised to see that he is not only shirtless but he and Lover Boy seem to really have that other thing in common besides the looks and all; the scars.
My gaze doesn't linger there at all because that is quite rude to stare and he is still my boss and I clearly do not see him that way despite the fact that I have clearly seen that he is athletic built. But since he appears to wanting to mingle in a way, I smile knowingly at him. "So far, so good definitely for my case at least. Glancing dubiously at Gorgeous and Baby Girl wondering if they have the same impression as me. Before I can even ask, that thing that Boss Man has said with a chuckle before walking away makes me look in his direction with a perplexed expression. What did he actually mean by that? Pookie's calling, which is the Force, right? So I am looking at the siblings since they are the only ones nearby that I know are sensitive before asking them straight to the point. Is she attuned to the Force?"

It went without saying that Crystal did care deeply about Franz as well, but since Lily and Elika were the ones to voice that out to begin with, Crystal thought that adding to it, would already be too repetitive and after all from what she could hear and see, Ayodele was indeed smart enough and it was after all clear as day that they were close indeed, so the only thing Crystal did right now was to smile and blink to confirm Ayodele's words. There were things about Franz that she'd never know, and it was his prerogative in sharing or not, like where did he go a few weeks ago. Most of the Jedi here adhered to a certain way of thinking, even if they knew, it often wasn't their story to tell, but ever since Franz did leave and had come back adopting a very serious persona, according to Atlantis, it made her worry but he had seemed to pull out of that thanks to Atlantis mandating Franz to Elika while Lucy was away. "Franz isn't that different when it comes to caring, I am sure you will find out more about him once you do return to him."
Crystal smiled knowingly as she watched Ayodele walk back towards Franz, she kept on watching for a moment until she averted her gaze and smiled at all of them as Andros did join them. He was shirtless, and the fact that his scars were visible, Crystal wasn't actually surprised to find out about that since she had already been made aware of the fact that he too was scarred like Atlantis due to the torture they had both endured. Knowing that Andros actually preferred the straight to the point approach, Crystal settled for a nod to indicate that indeed Ayodele had her approval. Ayodele seemed fun, easy going and very poised and well put together. Plus she also seemed to make Franz smile at lot, so that was a good thing. "Like Lily has said earlier, whether or not she has our approval, that will be up to Franz and him only if he wishes to pursue it with Ayodele..." Crystal knew that it would take a lifetime to truly get to know a person and beside the fact that Crystal knew that Ayodele was apparently from Polus and had a supposedly lower body temperature according to Franz, which could be explained by the fact that they were at the park last night where it could be cooler, Crystal didn't know much about Ayodele, and she was okay with that because she wasn't anxious to find out everything about her before Franz...
Furrowing her eyebrows as she heard Andros saying something, she looked at him dubiously but of course he did not explain further, Crystal definitely had to read between the lines with him and he had mentioned something about Franz's calling. Did he mean that the literal sense or... Then it dawned on her, with Lily's push, she turned to look at her childhood friend who was dubiously looking at her and Ryan before frowning slightly. She had never made Delaana aware that she was attuned to the Force, but considering how close she was now to Elika, she guessed that it wasn't something she was apprehensive in sharing with her PA. "I have never told you, Lana, but yes I am attuned to the Force, only a few know in the government building, please let's just keep it that way." Crystal said softly with a faint smile before glancing back towards Franz and Ayodele since Lily had asked her and Ryan that question. Now that she was focusing in the currents of the Force, Crystal could definitely perceive that the person next to Franz seemed sensitive, what alignment? Crystal had no idea, and actually she wasn't banking on any sides as Andros had proved her wrong several times anyways. "It looks like she is, but to what point, I have no idea, maybe she is just like me." Crystal shrugged faintly, it was a guestimate one she wasn't even sure of, but since she didn't want to linger on that since it was still a no drama day, and also Crystal didn't feel any imminent danger anyways, she turned to look at her brother and arched her eyebrow.
"Could you please check on Ares? Maybe he got lost." Crystal said with an amused expression and just shook her head, but then again perhaps there was some truth in that, it had been a while since Ares had been here and she supposed that he wouldn't know better Umgul than his fraternal twin.

Looking as though the effort costs her dearly, Elikapeka squints and frowns as she tells Lily in a playfully skeptical tone, "I'll do my best to conjure up some faith beautiful, and then waves her hand with a laugh, unable to keep up the act any longer as she nods and agrees with Lily's assertion that no one would want to invite her ire by bursting her bubble today, Definitely not. Looking theatrically shocked when Lily later suggests that Franz might not care about their approval, Elika puts her free hand over her heart and gasps as she asks teasingly, What do you mean he wouldn't care? Of course he'd care, it's our job to look after him, and if he knows what's best for him he'll just accept that we know what's best for him. Laughing and shaking her head, Elika rests her chin back on Delaana's shoulder and smiles after Ayodele invites them to ask any questions they want, then nods after Ayodele states that she can see that they all care about Franz, looking over at Lily and teasing, See, she understands."
"I'd hope you wouldn't complain, my Ceesi, Elika whispers next to Delaana's ear after Delaana points out that Elika has had her to herself so far, and adds in a playful pout, Besides, I haven't really had you all to myself, have I? Sighing against Delaana's ear in a theatrically aggrieved fashion, Elika says, I guess I can share you with everyone for a little while longer though," and then gives Delaana a peck on the cheek as she squeezes her hand.
Waving a goodbye with her free hand as Ayodele goes off to check in on Franz, and smiles when she sees Andros heading over to the bar. Nodding in agreement with Lily's answer to Andros' question about whether or not Ayodele has met with their approval so far, Elika echoes, "So far, so good, since from what she has seen so far the woman has a sense of humor that Franz is sure to appreciate, and has an air of calm self-confidence about her that Elika can admire, especially since there doesn't seem to be any hint of arrogance in the way Ayodele expresses or carries herself. Elika looks confused when Andros says that Ayodele can definitely understand Franz's calling, the comment not making any sense to her until Lily, grasping Andros' meaning more readily than her, asks if Ayodele is a Force sensitive. Arching an eyebrow in surprise when Crystal confirms that Ayodele is, in fact, a Force sensitive, Elika cannot help but look briefly over her shoulder towards where Franz is speaking with Ayodele, muttering a quiet surprised, "Hmm," since she would never have guessed that the masseuse was Force sensitive; though, on reflection after Crystal adds that she is unable to tell just how strong Ayodele's connection to the Force might be, Elika supposes that it shouldn't be too surprising. If one Force sensitive can choose to be a financial officer, after all, why could another not choose to be a masseuse?
Setting the questions that naturally come to mind with the new knowledge about Ayodele aside for the moment since it ultimately doesn't change Elika's earlier impression, Elika smiles supportively as she tries to reassure Crystal, "I'm sure he's fine hon', he probably just got stuck dealing with customs or something. Looking from Crystal to Andros, Elika smiles as she says, You're looking a little better rested today, how are you feeling?"

Lakehouse - Pool
Andros swam for a bit into the pool enjoying that warmth from the water, he felt like he was carefree at that moment just floating and letting his actions guide him to and fro the length of the pool, when he emerged his head out of the water and found himself right where he had started, relatively close to the bar. He also had that relaxed gaze and noticeable smile on the corner of his lips. Andros could still remember the last time he truly had fun, it was when he had taken that time to demolish the raceways with Raan. Just the thought of Raan though, it got Andros to smile less at this point forward.
He knew that the Senator was busy tending to his personal matters but the reasons of why he really withdrew from the political scene without a formal warning, that had just made Andros feel... Sighing faintly and closing his eyes momentarily to center himself and think about something else that wouldn't down his mood so much, he finally opened his eyes again and looked straight at Elika when she addressed him directly.
This was actually how he had managed to pull away from those irritating thoughts he had in mind, he only had to look at Elika and be surrounded by the people that truly mattered to him the most. "I slept great," Andros said with a genuine chuckle, he, for a moment there, definitely stopped having that hardened gaze that he had all the time, simply because he was relaxed currently. "I had forgotten what it was like to feel the sun on my skin." Andros turned to face the sun and closed his eyes briefly just basking into that comforting natural sun.
"So you can say that I am feeling great today," Andros actually meant those words of his and he even turned to look at Elika with a warm smile, perhaps for a split moment there he resembled his identical twin. Atlantis was more often than not the kind to smile easily, to speak in a friendly manner, that much Andros was aware of. Andros' reputation had been built on the fact that he was the glaring one, the one who didn't give a damn about a single thing perhaps, it was fine by him, he'd take it all silently, like he had been doing so for several months now, the injustice and that feeling of just being thrown out in the wolves so to speak.
"What about you? I do hope that this morning's workout wasn't too intense?" Andros chuckled before shaking his head briefly and glancing at both Elika and Crystal with an amused expression. "I saw you two this morning but I didn't want to interrupt your efforts."

That sounded good enough for Ryan, the condition that his sister had given. Truth be told if Crystal had reacted any other way than that, he would have been more surprised than not. He knew that his sister was often the tie breaker and often tried to see every sides of a story perhaps before making a definitive decision. "Works for me." Ryan said with a knowing smirk, and after all his sister did say that he could find other ways to kick Ares' ass, figuratively speaking if his older brother wasn't going to make the cake at all.
From there on out, Ryan simply remained silent and let the women speak with one another. After all, apparently women knew best, and his two cents or whatever would perhaps be perceived as crazy, but he did agree to what all of them were saying and also anyways, he was a guy, why would he want to gossip about this or that when clearly the ins and outs of whomever interested his cousin didn't really concern him. So he just retreated from that conversation and settled for serving himself some of the cocktail that his girlfriend had made and picking up one of the veggies that was laid out there.
Noticing that their talk between women seem to be coming to an end, Andros, perhaps just like Ryan had elected to not take part into that discussion and just asked what was what to his sister and her housemates. Still there was just something about Ayodele that made him think about a few things, especially when earlier he had discovered her to be sensitive, but perhaps she never felt inclined to train into the ways of the Force. He was perhaps a different case, sure he knew several things but he had mainly focused himself into healing and everything attached to it as he was also primarily a doctor.
Just like his brother who apparently perhaps was lost on his way here. Which was why Ryan looked at his sister thoughtfully and then glanced at Elika who perhaps had it right there. "It's either that, or something. Maybe he got held up by Ali..." Ryan chuckled mischievously at that, after all that was just something he wouldn't be surprised about anyways, but then again he thought that it would be highly unlikely due to the fact that it wasn't just Alisha and Ares, Ice was with them too. He wondered how Honoghr was faring ever since he had left that planet...
Turning around to look at Andros who was in the pool, he listened to the man expressing himself like he had no worries in the galaxy right now; it had been a while since Ryan had seen that side of his cousin. Usually Andros was more on the pessimistic side of things but today it seemed like not only he was embracing the simple things in life, but perhaps Andros also didn't want to burst Lily's bubble at all. After all, Ryan guessed that Andros very well knew what type of reaction was to be expected if someone did bring in some drama here.

My eyes have narrowed to Gorgeous playful skeptical tone, which has caused me to just look at her warningly, knowing full well though that she is only joking, but so am I. I still love to pull her leg when the occasion strikes, and this is one of those said occasions. "Well Pookie is a guy, so from time to time, I think he does have a problem on the listening front, I am only joking, as I certainly have no idea if Pookie is the type of guy to just go with his feelings even if we do not end up approving of Ayodele, or if he is going to listen truthfully. But like I have said, so far so good about Ayodele. Although, something tells me that he will be just fine and Ayodele seems fun to be around, you have heard her earlier, she does not hesitate to punt Pookie."
There is more to that of course and to be perfectly honest, it's not today that I am foreseeing to getting to know the masseuse better since all of us have said to Pookie to go and pick her up already so he can spend more time with her before whoever else arrives. "He'll be fine, I am sure that he is in good hands with her." I do mean that, there is nothing about Ayodele that causes me to raise any red flags right now, but upon finding out that she is in fact attuned to the Force, well ... So what? Maybe she is just like baby girl, like she has just stated right now.
"In any case, whatever the two of them decide, that is clearly out of my hands." Winking in particular at both Lana and Elika, since I am sure that the two of them are quite aware of the things I undertake to begin with, I do play matchmaker and I just speak out the obvious, for better or worse, what happens next, that is up to those said parties, sure if there is a problem, I will listen and whatever and even wouldn't hesitate to get my point across to whomever but right now, I am just not thinking about any of those things for instead I am looking at Hot Stuff and Boss Man.
Unable to help myself at Ryan's comment about the cause on why Ares might be held up, I just laugh before pursing my lips to stop myself from carrying on. "And people say that I am bad, Glancing over at my boyfriend, I shake my head before leaning over to kiss his lips. You are just as bad."
Looking at Boss Man who is mainly speaking with Gorgeous, I can very well tell that he looks well rested and less crabby today, and I am glad for that, also I am glad that Gorgeous has managed to convinced the man to stay here for a while until that situation is resolved, but I have to admit, it's nice to be seeing him in a different light, and for a moment, if I did not know better, I would have thought that the guy in the pool currently was Lover Boy, but not at all. It is just amazing to be seeing Andros that way, it's different from the usual, but not unwelcoming either.
"By the way, Baby Girl, want me to comm Lover Boy and ask him to get those things before he comes back or are you taking care of it?"

The back and forth between the two she knew best was amusing, and added to that even Elika was in the midst of it. Delaana was fine with just listening to them talk, and the word amused wasn't really doing it justice. She was starting to get the meaning of what she had been told yesterday by Elika, that here, in a more private setting, it really could turn worse. Something told her that later on it really might get worse, not in the bad way but really in the amusing category. Glancing on her side where Elika seemed to have found her place of choice, Lana's shoulder, she overheard the playful and fake aggrieved tone from Elika which of course made her smile warmly.
"Not today just yet at least, but I seem to recall that I had you as you had me for a little while alone yesterday." Closing her eyes briefly and returning Elika's squeeze, Lana smiled before looking back at her thoughtfully. "How about one of these coming evening, just you and me for coffee or dinner?" Not really needing an answer now since they still had the whole day to get that planned or something, Lana leaned over to peck Elika's lips softly and gently before smiling just to make her consider that idea of a moment of just the two of them.
Smiling once more to Ayodele once she had taken her leave to check in on Franz, Lana found the Vice-Governor walking in their direction, truthfully, the sight of his scars, that wasn't shocking to Lana at all, those were a part of him and she was sure that he had to endure a lot of his wounds and whatnot but one thing she did notice, the man seemed far more relaxed than yesterday or the previous days. She had actually never seen him that way. That aside, considering he had said something which got Lily to draw a conclusion and asking some confirmation from Crystal and Ryan, Lana turned to look at the siblings with a dubious expression until Crystal told Lana that she was attuned to the Force and that she preferred to keep that under wraps.
Lana inclined her head in acknowledgment to let her boss know that she got that loud and clear, but fact was, even if Crystal had not made her aware of that fact, Lana had already been aware of it for whatever reasons, that was between her and the one that had truly pushed in her résumé towards the CFO. It did not change the fact that Lana indeed looked surprised for a moment. "I understand." Lana finally said with a smile, it wasn't something that she was going to repeat anyways, to who would she really repeat that when clearly she wasn't the type of person to just walk around and scream and shout about her bosses, she had signed a confidentiality agreement after all.
Turning her gaze in Ayodele's direction briefly and remembering that fact about her, not that she didn't have to but still, there were things about her own past that she preferred also to keep under wraps and in order to do that, she had to just think of other things, simple as that. Hearing that Elika and Crystal had in fact worked out this morning, Lana looked at Elika with an amused smile wondering also how that went, but since Andros was talking, Lana had preferred to just let the two of them talk and not even interrupt.

Crystal smiled gratefully to Lana when agreeing, in a way, to keep for herself what Crystal had just revealed. One of the many reasons why she had preferred to keep that fact about her under wraps, and one of the several reasons why also she was diminishing her presence in the Force while being in public, because it was better that way anyways and because she preferred to just be away from prying eyes and ears, especially from that particular someone...
That was a story for another time though, either way, like Lily had just said, whatever happened between Ayodele and Franz, that would be between them indeed, after because that was just Crystal, if one of them needed to talk, she'd listen to whoever wished to talk, simple as that...
Elika might have had a point there, there was a probability that Ares was held up in customs, or something according to Ryan. Crystal looked at her brother before shaking her head with an amused expression. "You two are clearly made for one another, and also how can he be held by something when you," She had her gaze onto Ryan with that fake jaded expression. "Have just said that Ares and Alisha were with Ali's cousin, Ice." Now that Crystal thought further about it, that was one telling name someway, somehow.
"Are you really thinking that they are very capable of that with someone else around?" Crystal raised her hand and shook her head knowing that she might be inviting for disaster right now. "Actually forget that I have asked that." Pursing her lips and looking at her childhood friend about sending a message to Atlantis, Crystal went towards the seat she had been occupying a while ago to grab her datapad in order to send a message to Atlantis and telling him to get some birthday candles for Franz's future cake.
Setting her datapad aside for the time being, she looked at Andros who was just there with them and she laughed softly before shaking her head. "You do know that you wouldn't have interrupted at all, we were actually wondering about you this morning." Since Crystal had not seen the man in the lakehouse she had figured originally that he had gone off to his office to work but she was mistaken, which was actually a good thing. Crystal could also tell and see that Andros indeed looked great like he had previously said, and quite honestly it was just nice to be seeing him that way.

"I'm really, really glad, Elikapeka tells Andros with a pleased smile after, returned from his quick swim, he has made it clear that the night of good sleep has done him a world of good; he seems more at peace to her than Elika can remember seeing him in quite some time, and it makes her more than happy that she had resorted to a bit of arm twisting to get him to agree to stay with them here at the lakehouse for the time being. Shaking her head with a look that suggests it is silly for him to have asked the question, Elika tells Andros, Not too intense at all, then pretends to look worried as she jokes, I think Crystal was taking it easy on my for the first day though. Frowning as though disappointed in him for not having joined them even though Elika can understand that Andros might have preferred to have some time to himself, Elika says, You shouldn't have worried, and then smiles as she suggests, Maybe you could join us every now and then for our morning run while you're staying here? Not pressing the issue since she doesn't want to give the impression she would take it personally if Andros prefers to have his morning workout be a time of solitary reflection or meditation, Elika asks, Can I get you anything? Something to drink, or, she waves her free hand over the trays of finger foods on the bar, something to snack on?"
Laughing when Lily points out that being a guy means that listening is likely to be a problem for Franz at times, Elika nods her agreement, glancing over her shoulder towards Franz and Ayodele for a moment when Lily goes on to say that she feels fairly confident that Franz is in good hands with the masseuse, turning back and returning her chin to Delaana's shoulder as she agrees, "I think you're right beautiful," since from what she has seen so far both Franz and Ayodele look comfortable and content in one another's company.
Smiling as Delaana whispers into her ear, Elika tilts her head to whisper her reply, adopting a playful pout as she purrs coyly, "We didn't have as much time alone last night as I'd have liked, my Ceesi, and then adds, So just you and me for dinner or caf, or dinner and caf, some evening sounds very, very inviting." Giving Delaana's hand a squeeze, Elika stands up a bit straighter in case her resting her chin on Delaana's shoulder might be getting annoying, keeping close beside Delaana with an arm around her waist as she smiles while following the back and forth between Crystal and Ryan concerning what might be delaying their brother.

"Perhaps Ares has changed, what do I know really? But-..." Ryan shut his mouth since apparently his sister didn't want to hear about it and in return he just smiled knowing before glancing at his girlfriend. "I have never said that I wasn't bad at all." Ryan said with a chuckle before taking a sip of his cocktail and looking around momentarily. He knew that sooner or later, finally he would be seeing his brother in the flesh but still that made Ryan wonder why Ares had disappeared for all that time?
Perhaps he should have contacted Alisha to begin with as from the sound of it the two of them were together, still.
Sighing softly before looking over at his cousin who was in the pool, Ryan just left the man be, let Andros talk with the women and Ryan just proceeded to get that raft he had brought out for Elika originally, and he looked at the architect dubiously. "Are you sure that you don't want to use this, Elika?" It seemed comfortable at least, well Ryan knew that it was comfortable for having used it a few times back then, but still she perhaps had a reason for not even wanting to get in the water, and he just dropped that matter for he just settled to sit by the edge of the pool with his legs into the water.
