Raven grinned at Adi's first comment and shook her head.
You know I was about to say that- but I figured it would be insensitive of me. She shook her head, grin fading to a content smile as she felt his chin rest atop her head. It had been a very- very long time sense she'd felt someone's embrace around her and her mind drifted far back in the past for but a moment, until she recalled the present, when Adieumus spoke again, about fighting at her side and getting caught up in things.
Really, Adi, It would have sorted itself out- I had it .... She hesitated, blinking and lowering her eyes. She did not have it all under control. As she quickly recalled, her thoughts were in a sharp downward spiral, and it was the former jedi's voice which pulled her out of it. Slowly, she looked up at him. That was you- I heard you, in my trance. She admitted sheepishly. Guess we all need a little help now and then.
The thin smile on her face flattened out as he spoke of her not getting caught in the thick of things. Alora shrugged. Adieumus, Please don't misunderstand me, when I tell you, I'll be fine. One should expect death every day- but also expect to defeat it. Zen told me that. Do you know how many times I wasn't suppose to come back from something? It's part of being a Jedi- who we are.
It suddenly came to her that Adieumus had never seen her ignite her saber, and from an outsider's thoughts, she was rather small. A small grin came to her face.
And how many times has someone said they had a bad feeling about something....besides. I'm taller than Yoda. We'll be ok, especially when I can trust people like you to have my back.
She was about to say more, when a knock resounded on the door, and Alora turned her eyes toward it. She quickly gave Adi her attention once more.
Anything else you want to say before this conversation becomes public?

He nodded understandingly. He knew exactly what she was talking about. Sure, she wasn't exactly 'fine' by the typical definition...but she would be. She was, after all, a very strong woman...small in stature or not.
"Yea...That was me. I did my best to bring you out of the trance that had you so befuddled."
He took her bleeding hands in his, inspecting them. He could see the fingernail marks on them, dug in from whatever had frightened her in the dream. Pursing his lips, he began blowing on them softly, infusing them with his own force aura in an attempt to heal them, and soothe them. He held them for but a moment more before looking up as she asked if there was anything else he wanted to say. Of course there was...but he wasn't sure if he could bring himself to say any kind of words that would do it justice. Nothing he could say would even come close to having the impact he wished to have. A knock came to the door...he had to act now, or keep this locked inside...praying that they survived this rescue.
And that is when he made a decision that he hoped wouldn't come back to bite him in the end.
He leaned in, and pressed his lips to hers, closing his eyes. Pulling his hands up to her face, he cradled it ever so gently. This was something insane...he knew that he really shouldn't have done it...but yet, he just couldn't help himself. Maybe it was the fact he might never see her again after tonight...maybe it was the fact that he was scared beyond belief at what was about to transpire during this rescue...but his emotions were already running high. Having her in his arms had just felt right...proper.
He had been known, however, to be incorrect...
Breaking away after a few seconds, Adi looked to the door. Hoping to avoid an awkward bit of conversation, he quickly changed the subject.
"Would you like to see who that is, m'lady?"

Alora followed his gaze as Adi turned his attention to her hands. Minor injures that would scab over and heal on their own. On Felucia, she would have been much more concerned, but, it did feel good to have someone tend to her in such a small way- who wasn't a doctor. But she felt something else, something building within him, an emotion she'd not experienced for a very long time within another person, and for a moment, she almost pulled away.
This was dangerous.
As much as Legion's mark had impacted her path, this could shatter it completely. Everything within her reminded her of the past, and what her empathy had led to during such relationships. And for someone like Adieumus, one who was so bound by darkness, then tethered to the light and now- completely unsure of where he wanted to be. This would not end well. How could it? It took the nearly petrified empath full seconds to utter a sound even before the first action ever happened.
Adi I.....
And then his lips found hers and shattered all motivations. She felt his hands gently caress her face, and a warm numbing feeling race through her body. Perhaps before, it might have made her feel flighty, even happy, but right now all her mind could do was fight against his own emotional tidal wave. It felt like an endless laps of tine before he pulled back, and asked if she wanted to see who was at the door.
WHAT IN THE ACTUAL UNIVERSE?
What was his deal? Pitching her on an emotional roller coaster and then expecting her to act normal when addressing another crew member? Perhaps he could do it- and perhaps she could normally, but after something like this any empath would need some time to recover. And it wasn't like her rep with the crew was exactly favorable. She couldn't afford to show any signs of weakness or faltering, what so ever. For a very brief second, she wanted to punch him, in the face, with a duracreet brick. Instead, she just narrowed her eyes, took a breath and peered up at him with determination. If he wanted to test her emotional resolve, so. be. it.
I'm still going.
She sated, almost cooly. Clearing her throat, she stood from the bed and then spoke to the person on the other side of the door, unlocking it with the force.
Please inter.
She'd collected her emotions as quickly as she could, certain a few strays lingered on the messy floor of her mind. Regardless, only people force sensitive and looking for a flaw would see one, save for her somewhat tassled hair.
But she couldn't help thinking, far back in her mind- that she enjoyed the kiss. Slowly turning her eyes back to Matango, she spoke, just a bit softer.
Thanks....for the help.

The display had done what it had been intended to do. Perhaps it had been more of a show than was necessary but it had served it's purpose. Moving away from where he stood, not giving more than a few moments of though to the two responses he'd received, he made his way towards the corner from which he'd come. The sound of the heart being crushed in the Zabrak's grip was nothing more than an afterthought as he paused briefly to acknowledge the woman who was now entering the room with Adieumus. The very sight of her was enough to remove the smirk from his face and replace it with a moderated glance of malcontent to the man he called his friend. He moved to leave for the hallway, hesitated at the sound of the woman’s voice and the inflections and patterns of her speech and halted in place.
With a roll of his eyes he fidgeted with the controls in his gauntlet for the AI subroutine and slowly departed from the room as the woman known as Fire made her display to collapse to the floor where she stood with a rather loud and prominent smack. He was immediately sure that that fall would secure what brain damage was already present in the young woman who claimed to be Yatango’s sister. If it wasn’t he was sure that her participation in what was to come would be the end of her along with a few of the rest of them. If not during the fall, than during the assault it self. The layout of the compound had been relayed to him from Ariela moments before Adi had finished his speech and, while he was one to consider a modicum of optimistic options, he couldn’t help but amuse himself with the negative possibilities.
”Bring up subroutine seven dash five dash jee.“ He breathed in a cold, yet calculated tone, the buzzing of a female voice sounding his ear before a small well detailed map of the facility appeared before his right eye. He could see the corridors, the various compartments and facilities and best of all the final relay of their mission. Everything he needed to coordinate his own plan. One he would leave to the mechanical mind of Ariela. ”Initiate coordination scenario, routine Alpha,” he echoed as he moved further through the halls away from where people had been moving to go to their quarters. None could see what he was seeing, or hear what he was hearing, but should they have he engaged the small node on his gauntlet to disrupt sensory pick up of the data being streamed to him remotely. ”Lovely.”
As he found his way to the cockpit, he stood quietly in the corridor outside, watching with a seeming intent as the various dials, nodes and computers operated as they were designated. It was only a matter of time before they would begin their operation, but it was not one that would be without sacrifice. And with sacrifice it would be. ”Contact my sister. Tell her it’s important.” He breathed as he moved away from the cockpit door way and first down the hall towards where he imagined people would have remained if they did not intend on sleeping. ”Sister, don’t begin to chastise me,“ he growled as he halted some feet from where the others could likely hear him. They needn’t hear what he had to say.
”Yes, I’m well aware of what that means. No, for the last time, you are not to leave. I forbid it. She needs you as much as you need her.“ He continued and clenched his fist. It was not often that he found himself arguing with his flesh and blood. Something he had not done since some years following his father’s death. Since he had extinguished his brother’s life from the universe. A mistake, and choice, that his sister had not yet fully come to forgive him for. But a decision that he needed to make for the sake of his daughter and his family. Clearing his mind of that notion as quickly as it had appeared he huffed and sighed. ”Prepare her for what’s next. She will be joining me soon. I’ve found what we’ve been looking for.“ He finished and with a small flick of his finger the call was ended while the AI continued to run the subroutine and map out every possible outline of the facility.
While the rest of them prepared their erratic plan, he would be at work thinking and rethinking every possible scenario. This Anna would not see him coming unless he wanted her to.

*Sinina frowned, it had seemed to be taking quiet a while to answer the door, her hand falls to her side, and as time passed she started to waver. She bites her lip nervously about to turn away. Then she heard the click of the lock and the door open. She looks from Adi to Raven and back again.*
I'm sorry if I am interrupting...
*She felt like she was as the tension felt thick as if something important had happened. She swallowed hard as she stepped forwards and found her confidence. Her hands touched the bottom of her now short skirt, about to fidget but stopped herself. Why couldn't she just be more like Te'oma.*
I just thought I'd tell you I came to the conclusion that I would like to be your exit buddy Raven. Us short people need to stick together.

Oh, thank the powers that be.....
"Nope! Not interrupting anything at all. In fact, I was just leaving."
It took every bit of his willpower to keep his composure. His mind was ablaze with confusion....which was very uncharted territory for him. Turning to Raven once more as he stood up to leave, he smiled meekly.
"Anytime, Raven. Be careful out there, okay?" Where her eyes had glared, his were soft, and caring. There was a sparkle in the icy blue irises that had not been seen in quite a while.
"Sinina, thank you. I appreciate you helping us out. You watch your back, too. Atton and I will handle those towers, then we will be right behind you. In-n-out...snatch and grab. Piece of cake, eh? Let me know if you two need anything before we jump. Remember, keep your mind clear...and don't think too much on things. Every thought is potentially fuel to our opposition. I'll see you in a couple of hours."
Turning quickly, he exited, and headed toward his bunkroom. His lips were still tingly, and sensitive. Maybe it was the residual effects of the force light...but, the instant his lips touched hers, all pain from the attack was gone. No, it had to be that momentary lapse of judgment...Why the hell had he kissed her? It's not like she had shown any kind of interest in him in that way...yet, he had still done it. His head was swimming with thoughts that he most CERTAINLY should not be having. Without thinking, he touched his lips and smiled....
...At least she hadn't pulled away, or slapped him.
Finishing the short walk to his quarters, he went inside and shut the door. Opening a desk drawer, he pulled out a small holorecorder, and began to record a message. He just hoped that it never had to be delivered.....

Keep her mind on the mission? What? Perhaps he should keep HIS mind on the mission. For but a second, a wave of absolute irritation washed over the normally poised Jedi master, and after that second past she resumed her posture, She did not retrieve her crumpled up Jedi robe in the corner, but chose to remain in the flexible cloth clothing underneath them,- a plane tan shirt and pants with nice little pockets and a belt for things.
She walked over to her robe and rummaged through the fabric until she withdrew a thin, shiny metal cylinder, trimmed in told colored metal. If one looked closer, they could see a blue/white metallic sheen laced within the whole hilt, but rather than just the normal lattes work, most protective guards showed, the blue/white strands curved and swirled about in an elegant- organic take on a very uniform design. Why couldn't a weapon also be beautiful? Alora had two of these blades, but at the time, only carried one, and though she never laxed in her practice, the Jedi Master hadn't ignited this saber in actual combat, in quite some time. Though, she felt words wouldn't be the best weapon here.
Clipping the saber to her belt, now in plane view- just in case anyone wondered if she even carried a weapon, Raven looked up at Sinina with a thin smile.
Adieumus isn't too happy about me going, but I'm sure having someone like you with me, will keep his mind at ease.
Her widening smile became a bit more serious.
I may need your help, watching my back while I search for Anna through the force. I'm not quite sure what we'll be facing- but, I'm optimistic.
She beckoned for the Echani to follow as she made her way to the center of the ship- where everyone was suppose to meet and stuff. Her hair was pulled back again, and she no longer wore the cumbersome formal Jedi robes, She was still small, but at least now, she looked as combat ready as Raven Alora ever did look.

*Sinina frowns a moment, it really didn't seem like nothing, she narrowed her eyes slightly at him in a "don't make me smack you upside the head again" fashion, but let it go, this was not the time to cause problems. She sighs softly and listens very carefully to his words. She bites her lip and gets a bit nervous again. "Don't think too much on things. Every thought is potentially fuel to our opposition." How much she wished she hadn't heard that part, Fuel their opposition, she suddenly felt very paranoid as if every thought wasn't her own. She eyes grew distant, as she felt a small wash of panic. She shakes her head gently and blinks again. She nods to him as she pushes the feelings away.*
I will watch my back too. We'll be fine.
*She watched him walk past and out the door, it seemed something important still on his mind, she sighed, he really needed to just say things rather then let them stew. Whatever, she was sure it would sort out eventually, just hoped it wouldn't cause problems. She cursed herself mentally, she was not suppose to think on things, why was this so hard! She watched Raven collect what last things she needed.*
Well, I will do everything I can to make sure nothing happens to you. Just focus on getting Anna. I can play look out and body guard for you.
*Sinina follows with Raven back to the center of the ship, her heels clicked on the floor, it may seem odd to others the style of her boots, but it was one thing that her mother had always insisted upon, training for combat in heels had given her a very good sense of balance, the fact that her unofficial "Uncle" was masterful at gadgets, she had defenses against a dreaded "broken heel" as well. She continued after being sent to Naboo, mostly because she liked people to see her as just an upper class woman, and not have them expect her to be trained in self defense. As they went she did as well admire the woman's sabers. Her own was not as ornate, though it was also not metal. Her's had been made back on Dathomir, of the wood of one of the oldest and tallest trees near the Nightsister Citadel, it even gave off a small aura of their magics, it was simple, and the hilt curved slightly, along the hilt was complex carvings that one could only begin to guess at depicted, Sinina had hand carved it herself, it wasn't fancy but she thought it to be perfect and that was what mattered. She smiles to herself, eager to get started.*

Adi had taken roughly a half an hour to finish the holorecording, and put it one of the pockets of his cargo pants. He began gathering various bits of kit and gear from his room...his saber, several small grenade-sized spheres, and a canister of bacta spray, placing them on his belt. The final objects he grabbed was one of the Jedi Katanas forged by Mike Frantz from their moorings on the wall of his quarters, and a bag containing something for another crew member that Adi felt the man would need. He tightened the laces on his shoes, took a deep breath, and stood up, walking out of the room toward the cargo bay. He sent a quick com to Raxxie letting her know that they were lifting off in fifteen minutes, and to get the ship warmed up. He then sent an open comlink to the crew that it was time to assemble in the cargo bay.
This was where he started his plan of action. He knew very well that 'six hours' was far too long, and gave their enemy a reprieve that might break the effort they were about to put into this rescue. However, if the enemy -thought- that they had six hours to prepare, they would spend time doing -other- things that take longer than if they thought they only had an hour or two. Herein was the start of the strategy and maneuvering to keep them off kilter.
Right now? They were probably trying to get Anna out of the facility, not knowing that they didn't have the time to power down systems...and were only helping the efforts of the crew to extract her. There were pretty much zero specifics in his little pep talk earlier, except for the 'six hours'.
Initiative won.
Adi entered the cargo bay, and smiled. Everyone was already assembled, and seemed to be ready to go. The engines of the Wayward Son were rumbling to life, and within minutes, the ship was exiting the hangar, and clearing the spaceport.
ETA to first jump point-thirty minutes.

Loki grabbed his head as he felt the flare of force light from Raven. He tightened his jaw and looked at the others. "What?" He growled at those assembled, his hands now at his sides, he looked as, Adi, Raven and Sin rejoined them, Loki debating following the little sneak that was Antidar, as Loki watched him head for the cockpit..what if he told Raxxie? What would Loki do that would cause serious issues right now.. Loki shook it off and decided to focus on the mission everyone looked much more battle ready then they had after the short break. A toothy smile filled his face as the ship lifted off, Loki looked at Adi and winked with his good eye. "Are you ready for the danger ahead tiny Jedi?" Loki said pointedly to Raven, his voice much friendlier than she had heard before.

Eya was sitting on her bed, when she suddenly heard a voice. Looking down at her feet, she saw Zee. She couldn't help the smile that came to her face. Who knew what kind of trouble he got himself into. Putting her hand down, she laid it flat on the floor, so he could climb up."Where have you been? Not in my bras again, were you?" She couldn't help but smile at that. It was annoying but for some reason, she let him get away with it. If anyone else tried to go through her clothes, she would have smacked them across the face. Zee wasted no time in mounting his mistresses hand, before continuing to ascend her arm to her shoulder. He then feigned innocence as she asked if he had been in her bra's again. Although he hadn't actually been perusing her lingerie, and who could blame him if he had, it was more amusing to let her think he had"oh... no where in particular... Just getting in some exercise..."He held on as she then rose and started moving out of the room and to where everyone else was. Once she came to a stop, he pulled out three pieces from various pockets and started slotting them together to form a pipe. he then pulled a tiny packet from another pocket, and put a small amount of Endorian Endo, which he had managed to secret away with him from the RDMC, into the pipe. Returning the packet to his pocket, he produced a miniaturized lighter and lit the substance. He took a couple puffs, ensuring the endo was properly lit, before returning the lighter to its pocket and blowing a couple smoke rings for his own entertainment

Raven Alora looked over at Sinina with a thin smile,
I wouldn't worry about me too much. It's just nice to have another set of hands around you know. Besides, I'm horrible at hand to hand combat. I like my saber, and throwing things at people.
Her attention snapped itself to the massive Zabrak who was looking down at her. She blinked up at him, tilting her head in question.
Where's that gruff, basal voice and your crude scowl Loki? You're making me nervous.
She said as a smile flicked to her face. She shrugged in answer to his question.
Feeling prepared is one thing, being that way is another and considering our enemy knows more about this lab than we do- I'm probably not- but neither is anybody else, so it's all good.
She shook her head with a small sigh.
Honestly I'm just hoping everyone makes it out alright and that I can some how atone for abandoning everyone, before.
Every once and a while, Raven allowed others to dip below her surface and see the real reason she did things. Blinking, she turned her eyes toward the others, and waited for the exit point.

Loki dropped to a knee in front of Raven, and locked eyes with her. His lips moved but no sound came out inside Ravens head and Ravens alone, Loki chuckled at her. "Do not worry, I can see that you are stronger, much stronger than the others wish to accept or see, they see you as frail Jedi, but you are not. Together, all of us will save your friend and undo the wrongs of this laboratory, as for this facility, it is the same as many others, you can see it, feel it, the force will serve and guide us. I will help you, and you shall help me." His mind voice was resonate, but no longer evil, not like it had once been, he stood up and away from Raven giving her a small smile before turning to the others. "Now remember, the best laid plans of senators and Sith, rarely last past the first contact with the enemy. We shall use this to our advantage, Though many of you do not know me..." Here Loki paused as looked around the room. His voice seemed to become stronger with each word he spoke. "I am Lord Loki, I once was feared in this galaxy. Today before you all, I renounce not the darkside, but the trappings associated with it. I renounce my title of Dark Lord of the Sith. And I join you today before battle, I know not all of your skills, but I trust you all save one." Loki paused again wondering if Antidar could hear outside of the storage compartment." I will watch your backs, if you promise to watch mine, and after today, we will no longer be a rag tag group of people thrown together by the force, no we shall be brothers and sisters in arms, what these men, and women and others are doing in this lab, it is against the nature of the force, it is a violation of any ones idea what the force should and can be used. It is a perversion of the force. And we shall end it. "Loki turned and eyed everyone in the room, his single good eye intense flaring between silver and yellow, his cybernetic glowed intensely. "Are you all with me?" He suddenly roared at them. It wasn't his first rodeo, and even if it would only rally Adieumus, his speech had been a success. "May the force be with us all..." Loki said quieter this time, the first time he had uttered the words that way.

Alora remained rooted in place as the Zabrak's powerful telepathy rippled through her mind. If he payed attention, he would feel the absolute resilience Raven Alora had built around herself. Far too much had happened to the small Jedi for anything to easily penetrate her defenses. That wasn't to say she was particularly strong when attacking with telepathy, but she'd learned the hard way, how to defend against it.
Her small brown eyes looked softly into Loki's own, and she smiled back, a little smile as he began to address the ship. When he finished, she took a few steps toward him and looked up at him again. Speaking, her voice was firm and meaningful, rather bold sounding for such a small person.
I'm with you. and for what it's worth- I'm very proud of you. It's very difficult to do what you just did. I may not know exactly what it's like- but I do have an idea, or at least more of an idea than anyone on this ship would know about.
Clearing her throat, the Jedi Master turned toward the bay doors and rolled her shoulders. A small smile came to her face. She was about to actually finish something she started a long time ago- and to think it took a former Jedi, and a former Sith Lord to get her back on track. Life was weird, but the force was weirder.
Let's do this.

Bringing his freighter in for a quick landing, Kebiin runs through the shutdown procedure and double checks the ships lockdown before departing. Moving through the streets of Mondder, he makes for the nearest tapcaf. Stepping inside, he scans the room for any other figures in familiar armor. Seeing a few at a table, he stops by the bar to gather a few pints of local ale before moving to their table. Setting the round of drinks on the table, he takes a moment to remove his helm.

-Mando K'oyacyi! Me'vaar ti gar?
The figure was obviously a mando to any causal observer. They were a common enough sight with large mandalorian installation just outside the city. It would take a more knowledgeable person to recognize the figure as part of clan D'Ordinii. The seemingly blank grey armour, with only a single icon of a crested jaing head was pretty much a dead give away. To the D'Ordinii mando, it was equally obvious that the other mando was from another clan. Mostly as he didn't have the virtual HUD overlays that would have both painted his armour & provided basic information about himself. The statement therefor was as much asking what he wanted as it was asking how he was doing.

Setting his helm on the floor beside him, he takes a decent swing from his own ale before speaking.
Drink up, I'm Kebiin of clan Carid. I'm looking for information, folks around Mandalore told me D'Ordinii would be my best bet for detailed records. I'll come right out with it. I'm hunting information on the last Mandalore, what happened to him, his last known location and business. I know it is a big request, but I'd like to see what records D'Ordinii has on Jaster Skirata or speak with someone who could provide some information.

The D'Ordinii didn't bother popping his helm, the clan was somewhat notorious for staying sealed up in their suits as much as possible. The drink however was carefully siphoned off into by a thin tube that lead into one of the several liquid storage flasks in the suit. Emergency induction port. Which would allow his to drink without breaking the seal on his suit.
-DO Mando Not really my strong point. I could easily find out for you if you really wanted though. It would probably be someone from Archives or maybe even Intel.

Quickly draining his initial mug, Kebiin motions for a second round for the table.
Enjoy your drink, brother. If you could spare some directions or a referral, it would be appreciated however.

The other mando thought for a second & waved one hand in a series of vague gestures in front of him. The last motion look half like he was flicking his fingers at Carid. A moment later a message popped up in Carid's HUD. If opened, it would fold out to provide both a map view of a nearby location, as well as glowing bar that lead out of the bar, apparently showing the route highlighted.
-DO Mando There, that should take you right to the Intel office. & they have a heads up you are heading their way. Ret'urcye mhi.
