Galaar falls silent for now, contemplating everything said by Vizsla. It was too soon to grant him outright support, the Fett was unaware of how powerful or young his organization was and what they were capable of. Death Watch, by the words of this Vizsla, would try to tear away from its terrorist past and seek to become a political and military movement to make Mandalore and Mandalorians stronger. However, Brayark did not seek to become Mandalore... that is where he humbled himself. So he merely desired the means to force a change, a necessary change in the eyes of Brayark.
The Fett finishes his drink quietly, continuing his deep contemplation. After a moment, he clicks his teeth with his tongue, looking directly at Vizsla.
If anyone wants to follow you out of this Mess Hall and off this world, they are welcomed to. Clan Fett will consider its position in what is to come. You make good words, Aliit'ator... but actions will persuade others to follow. Right now, Clan Fett has other concerns, but know that I grant you the boon of allowing anyone here to leave with you without consequence.
That was the best Galaar could offer until he saw Brayark act on his words and show the truth of what he desired to see happen. However, he offered this boon as gratitude for not being like other Vizsla in the past. This allowed Brayark to come within this hall and speak without blasters being pointed at him.
That is all I can give at this stage. You may take it or leave it.

At this point, Brayark inclined his head respectfully. "Ha'yr Vizsla partaylir rie entye, vor entye."* Picking his buy'ce up from the table and rising to his feet, the Mandalorian slid the bucket onto his head and turned to leave. Before moving to the door, he spoke once more to Galaar. Contruum. That is where we currently call home. Anyone that wishes to join us, there is where you will find us. Walking towards the door, Brayark paused and called out over his shoulder. Thanks for the drink, vod. Disappearing through the door, Brayark made his way back to the Spaceport, where his ship was berthed. He still had a few more stops to make before he made his way to Nal Hutta and the upcoming Great Hunt.
«Clan Vizsla remembers its debts, thank you.»*

Making her way into the Mess Hall, the young Mandalorian woman sporting all white armor. Her helmet was slung under her arm with her white hood resting on her raven black hair. Vera scanned the hall, it was very much like when she came her with her father ten years ago, but the people were different. Crossing over the threshold, she made her way to the bar, sitting and slapping down a couple credits for a drink. Setting her helmet on the bar next to her she sipped on her drink, trying to get the liquid courage up before approaching Galaar. After all it was her dream to join the Protectors, and the Aliit'alor held it in his hands. A no from him would send her back to the family farm in shame, after her family had invested so much in her armor and gear.

Galaar was sitting at a table with a few other older Fetts and a couple Devaronese. How many left?He inquires, speaking of how he would let those who desired to join Vizsla and Death Watch go without any interference. It had taken a couple days for word to spread around the planet and the clan before individuals and handfuls began departing the planet on their ships and heading for Contruum. The seniors at the table looked at one another before one turned directly to speak with Galaar. We have counted, at least, several hundred, Aliit'ator.Probably another hundred or less looking to leave soon too.Close to a thousand had departed for Contruum. Vizsla was getting a sizable contribution from Concord Dawn.Make sure no one gives them trouble. I do not want grudges built up nor oaths of vengeance being made.Making her way into the Mess Hall, the young Mandalorian woman sporting all white armor. The individuals present would nod in agreement before departing to carry out their orders. Galaar leans back in his chair, propping his feet up on the counter. It was a lot of work to ensure these people got off Concord Dawn and ensure no one harmed them. They had every right, as Mandalorians, to follow their desires and ambitions. Death Watch presented that opportunity. While these men and women departed though, Galaar was still considering what he planned to do. However, he was interrupted by the sound of someone approaching him. He glances to his right, seeing a female Mandalorian in white armor standing just beyond his peripherals. Can I help you?

She stood their stunned for a moment as the leader of Clan Fett addressed her. Vera soon shook herself back into reality and sat a drink down in front of the Mandalorian and soon sat down in a seat across from him.
Aliit'alor, I am Vera Fett daughter of Thron Fett, a Protector who recently retired from the service, I wish to take his place. As he did for his father and his father for his grandmother, and his grandmother for his- well, you get the idea. I want to serve and protect all those who value the freedom only the life of a Mandalorian can offer. Will you have me?
She shifted nervously in her family armor. It had saved the family more times than she had days in this life. Her fists were clinched resting on her legs. Almost able to hear her heart as it pounded in anticipation for what Galaar would say. Her brown eyes looking into his, trying to seem fearless.

Galaar continues to look at Vera. A female who was still well within her late teens compared to her much older father. The name rang a bell, Thron. He had definitely been one of the instructors as of late since Galaar was aware of the man's imminent retirement from the Protectors. Though he had a formal resignation, the door still remained open for the Mandalorian to return and instruct more recruits.
Sad we had to lose Thron, but all warriors must eventually know when the time is right to set the sword down and let another pick it up.
Galaar wondered when he would, one day, retire. No kids of his own, so no one to carry on his line. Probably one of the cousins would rise up and be the star that the Fetts needed to continue moving forward. Young warriors like Damocles and Vera were the future of the Mandalorian people. He continues to look at Vera before leaning forward, putting his feet down.
Don't think I can deny the daughter of Thron. Knowing a man like him, he has been training you for the day that you would take his place. So welcome to the Mandalorian Protectors, Vera. You will be assigned to a unit within a few days. In the meantime, make sure your equipment is ready and that you are ready to move into the command center.

A wide smile broke out on her face, as Galaar welcomed her to the Protectors. She could have hugged the Aliit'alor but she knew that was likely not the conduct becoming of a Protector. But she couldn't hide her joy and relief. Vera knew she was young but thankfully her father had indeed worked ragged, especially in the past couple days. Now it was all worth it, every moment of training, each night on watch at the farm, all the bruises and scrapes. She stood up nodding, still beaming.
Oh, believe me, Aliit'alor, my equipment has been ready for days, my fathers old Starviper is packed and ready to go!

Galaar had to give her credit for how enthusiastic Vera was. She definitely wanted to play a role in the Protectors and follow in her father's footsteps.
A Mandalorian can never too prepared, Vera. You say your armor and ship are ready, but it is always best to check again.
Right now, the Protectors were mostly training and getting their ranks in order as well as officers appointed. There hadn't been much assignment from the Mandalore which was disappointing to Galaar. But soon enough, he suspected something would happen. The war-time admiral, Torin Bralor, had visited recently and made it obvious that the Mandalore was seeking to rearm the clans and build up the militaries of the Assembly. Perhaps, when his fleet was ready, Galaar would visit Mandalore to discuss on where to hit and raid.
In the mean time, you will undergo drilling and training to prepare for any assignment that could come from the Mandalore.

You speak like my father. I will be prepared. And I look forward to gaining the same wisdom you and he share, Aliit'alor.
She turned on her heel and proceeded to the drill yard. Vera watched for a bit, getting a feeling for how the hand-to-hand was drilled. However the young female mando, in shiny white armor, wouldn't go unnoticed for long. Soon she was being goaded based on her age and lack of experience. Able to blow that off (of course she was inexperienced, she just came of age), she turned and went to go work on another task, like cleaning her weapons, or her ship. But that was when one of the commandos gave a whistle. That was it, they could mock her for her age, but she would not let the fact she was female be held over her. Turning around she identified the male. Probably only 5 or so years older than her, she squared off with him. This seemed to grab the attention of all the others in the yard and a ring formed around them. Vera didn't wait for any kind of official call to battle or for the male to make the first move, she jetted across the circle to him. The bull rush worked, for a moment. Scoring a good strong uppercut, Vera was soon getting the worst beating she had ever received. It seemed zeal, right, and determination were not all it would take to win a fight. Getting knocked several feet back, by the mans last blow, Vera lay in the muddy ground, her armor now stained brown with flecks of red here and there. As the crowd started to disperse, she rolled over and pushed herself up onto her feet. Facing the male, who had stopped walking away, she once more charged at him. This time he was ready and easily countered her attack, sending her back to the ground, followed by a kick to the stomach. Vera lay on the ground shaking with anger, shame, and pain. Struggling to get back up onto her hands and knees she felt another kick, but this time to her beautiful face, and she fell back into the mud, dizzy and with blurred vision she lay their till male walked away.

Seems you need a bit more work.Galaar's voice was heard as his shadow was caste over Vera's defeated person.Thron was a good teacher, no doubt. But the real Protectors are definitely a whole different level. He had come out, some time after Vera left, to see the new recruits in action. Many of them were good and ready for the field of battle whenever the Mandalore called them to arms. There were those in worst spots than Vera, but she had fallen back into the mud and looked practically out of sorts with some good blows to her person. Not the best start for the daughter of Thron Fett.
Galaar then reaches down, grabbing hold of her arm and helping the Mandalorian female stand up.Get yourself looked at quickly, then return here.

Struggling to keep walking straight, Vera made her way to the medical personal. They cleaned her up and gave her a bandage for the small scrap on her face from the males boot. After the chance to sit down and catch her breath, Vera felt less dizzy but now she could think about what had just happened. She, daughter of Thron Fett, had been beaten in her first melee after joining the Protectors. As she rose and slowly made her way back to Galaar, she imagined he would ask her to leave and go back to the farm. Stepping back out into the courtyard where Galaar told her to return, she was sure he knew she was on her way with how loud her heart was pounding.

Galaar was where he was before, waiting for Vera to return. Thron wasn't sloppy at all, so Vera just needed a tune up with her stance and fighting. He had to give it to the female though, she was her father's daughter; headstrong and rash, yet determined. He had asked who fought her and those remarks were made exactly to the dot. The Mandalorian looks up when Vera returns after being examined. Seemed she was still good to go which was what he wanted to see. Thron would not want to see his daughter being decked over and over again after all.
Alright, Vera.
Galaar says as he moves away from where he waited.
Give me your stance and your best shots at me.

Vera was surprised as Galaar asked her to give him her 'best shots.' It was a good surprise as the alternative of him sending her home in disgrace would have been unbearable. But not one to disappoint the Aliit'alor, she squared up in an almost perfect stance for her build. She then threw a punch, with her right hand that was meant to be dodged. Then she would bring her left knee up hopefully catching him off guard by the opposite attacks. But her technique had been mastered in the controlled safety of her farm.

As anticipated, Galaar moved out of the way of her fist. Yet, her knee was easily blocked by his right forearm. His toughened arm taking the intended blow rather easily. With her fist having gone wide as intended, his own hand grabs her wrist. Quickly, the Mandalorian moves to the side, taking her arm with him as the Aliit'ator intended to get behind Vera and pin her, face forward, to the ground with ease. Her right arm being used as the pivot of his quick disarming technique. The Mandalorian was tougher than her father in this matter, showing agility and skill that was deserving of the leader of the Fett clan.

Galaar lets go of her after a moment before grabbing her arm to help Vera stand.I can tell you were taught the basics. Saves a deal of time, but they need to be better honed. The Mandalorian turns and gestures to a soldier who brings up a blast shield, utilized by the Mandalorian Guard, and hands it to Galaar. He attaches the shield to his wrist and holds it up.Let us see how well you are at disarming. I want you to try and take this shield off of my wrist.

Getting back on her feet, and feeling even more embarrassed now, Vera nodded at Galaar, accepting the challenge to disarm him of his shield. She came at him, grasping opposite ends of the shield and twisted as hard as she could.

She came at him, grasping opposite ends of the shield and twisted as hard as she could. Galaar was a tough Mandalorian, holding his ground against Vera's attempts. The shield remained locked onto his arm. After a few attempts, Galaar raises his hand. Then his finger points at her head, directly where her brain was.A Mandalorian learns to use both, Vera. If brute strength won't work, then try a different approach. He points to the shield.Think of a way that disarms your approach via a route that isn't the frontline way. For you will face fierce and experienced opponents on the field of battle. In those cases, you must out think them in order to counter their experience.

Catching her breath after several attempts to over power the clearly stronger male, Vera began looking around for other routs of attack. Nodding to signal that she was ready once again, she took a ready pose. This time instead of attacking straight one, she ducked to the side that had the shield attached to it. Using it to block her from Galaar's view she attempted to get behind him. From their she would go for the back of his knees, to force him down. Holding a foot on the back of his legs she would then pull the shield arm back, possibly threatening to dislocate the shoulder if not stopped or shield not relinquished.

The Mandalorian eyed Vera, watching her progress after several attempts. He was about ready to call this exercise off until she changed up her movements and immediately went about trying things differently. Good, Galaar thought, as she used her brain on this one. Vera had agility on her side, something that a warrior lost as one aged. Galaar was one of those people. His brunt strength was strong, but not as agile as his bones were once before. He feels himself being threatened with the shield being pulled back. Two choices and Galaar took one of them as his grip released the shield, letting Vera take it. Slowly, the Mandalorian rubs his wrist and moves his shoulder.
That's how a warrior works, Vera. They use their brain and brawns together.
