You make a good point. I'll edit my post here in a minute to account for my lack of precog. Lol.
As for the rifle, it's always been there. I never mentioned dropping it or anything, so that's the only place it could be.
Edit: his weapons are going to be the rifle (a cousin of the M5), an oversized pistol, and vibroblades in his armor's gauntlets (which wouldn't be visible)

Posted, found a way to continue the sl a bit longer for myself, called damage on myself.
Fel is back, he said he'll need a day or so to catch up. Hopefully this brings the others back

Okay.
Entirely aside from the hit-calling (on me I mean, specifically my rifle), there's literally no time for Yama's hand to make it from my shoulder to the gun before I fire. At least three bolts would have been fired in that interval. Even an unarmored juicer isn't that fast.
To be clear, I'm not opposed to Yama making it out alive, but I am opposed to solutions that require PGing to work. It just drags the whole story down a couple notches. So again, if you want him to survive in spite of the odds, we can work something out, but your current post doesn't work at all I'm afraid.

I edited a 3 round burst to hit my left shoulder guard, and no confirmed damage to the barrel, just the possibility. I'll let you call that damage on your own.
Unless you plan on post cutting again I think we're good here

There's also no time to get your torso out of the way before I fire, and even the stormtroopers on the deathstar didn't have aim that bad.
Honestly, I expected better than to have my character treated like a toddler with a water pistol. You're not even remotely able to legitimately avoid the shots on your own. Yama is not the Flash, and I really hoped you would actually try and collaborate before stooping to this level (or just never stoop to this level to begin with).
That said, there are several ways of cutting that post if need be.
Edit: And you still have the exact same issue as before. The hand is not capable of reaching the rifle before it fires.

If we're all throwing in our two cents here, I personally would love to know how a behemoth of a cat (several feet above someone already taller than average for their species) managed to get away with grazes and other relatively minor wounds in a hallway. An Imperial heavy repeater isn't the galaxy's most accurate weapon, but at the distances we're talking about, even an actual toddler with a water pistol could put rounds in the center of mass. Between that and Flyn's own fire, I'm genuinely not seeing how Yama could have made it to the end of the hallway, waited for an elevator (in a building that's had its power cut, no less), got in the elevator, and got the doors closed.

On a somewhat related note, it seems I was a little off in my original weight estimating. Apparently a 3.3 meter tiger can weigh over 800 lbs, and that's with normal bone density...
Uff-da.

Alright, now that we've gotten everything worked out in PM's, I went ahead and edited my last post for what we decided on.

Whoa, whoa, whoa... how did this become a cluster-kriff while I was gone? Chime in, folks.

You know those times when you're chugging along doing your thing, then when you finally get a chance to stop and take a step back you ask yourself "how the kriff did I get here?"
Well this was pretty much one of those times.
I made an NPC to tussle with Yama while you and Corr were away, but that didn't pan out the way I'd hoped and Formi was in the neighborhood and things started to head downhill pretty quick after that.
But I managed to work things out in the end to mutual... Well, agreement at least, if not satisfaction.
Sorry 'bout the ruckus.

Mostly Yama, Aherk and The Shadow King who're posting right now. Dan? Did you post? Brain lost track. For Mirian, I mean.
