just curious, what part of its status is uncertain? Obviously we really need to get our asses into gear so we can get this sorted out and get the alliance up on it's feet, since the First Order is leaving us in its trails. I would dearly love to see us actually have a good opposition side, since one of the big issues I had with the Cold War, was that the Empire had this good strong side, and the Republic was meandering about, and it made no sense as to why it was just a cold war.
I want us to have the writing force and ability to pose a legitimate threat, to make this an actual war, and provide plenty of back drop for future RP. So, if you need something, please shout out, let us know what yyou need, so we can get it sorted asap, and then we can get the opening clash on Dantooine started, so more people will legitimately know about the First Order and the Alliance in their proper forms and we can get more stuff rolling.

To be honest, I don't know who is in charge on Corellia government-wise It's been probably 5 years IRL since we needed anything other than a Senator. I am working on getting that sorted out. And I don't really feel like I can bring Koronov back to Corellia until I know how Standash and Belial are going to word the dissolution, because that will have a huge effect on how Koronov reacts and behaves and what he does when he leaves Coruscant. I just made an attempt to assume the outcome and got yelled at for metagaming, so I'd really really like to take the guesswork out of this. Until then, I, and Corellia, are stuck. Edit: But Coruscant should be resolved in a few days |

Politics won't really be covered by the Rebels, like it was "covered" by the Republic, ala the Senate. If anything, they'd be spies and ambassadors to worlds seeking to garner their support in the coming war.

Hullo everyone, For those of you who do not know me, feel free to consult this link for a reference (and hopefully an enjoyable read) about my character's backstory. But the crux of it is she's a Light Sith. Essentially the polar opposite of a Dark Jedi. Having had enough of the Sith and their ways, Medleyn has made her escape from her own family on Dromund Kaas, and I would love to join the Rebel Alliance. I believe my character and I can be a contribution to this group. I'm quite eager to get started. Would I be able to join the battle on Dantooine? Maybe a live audition of sorts to get into the Alliance's good graces? |

You're more than welcome to join in the battle however you see fit. The more the merrier! While there isn't much to do in Garang as of yet, since the Imperials have decided to focus down the Enclave's defenses, if my skims have done me justice, meaning that you can start where ever you wish. If it made sense for your character to come in at a later date, since there's going to be the Calvary coming in a few IC days (to account for Hyperspace transit time) the Alliance Fleet, unbeknownst to the First Order, is currently mustering at Kashyyyk.
I've been behind in a lot of my posts, and JvS dealings in general, so please forgive me if it takes a day or two to get the necessary responses in.

Been wondering if the Alliance could use a few thousand Clone War Veterans and a Jedi Knight for it's purposes in combating the First Order. My men have been stationed on the peaceful world of dantooine for sometime, mostly in retirement and in hiding from the imperial remnant of old. It seems that in my absence (mostly due to school and work) Dantooine has become the warfront of another Galactic War against the evil First Order. I offer my Army and Navy in assistance to free Dantooine. Would really appreciate it if I could join the Alliance.  |

I know the feeling how work takes you away from the fun, which is why I haven't been able to post much here on JvS.
Now, I just wanted to let you know that we're in the Legeacy Era - so if your Clones could've lasted that long , you're welcome to join how you see fit. The Alliance Navy won't be showing up until the siege of Garang is underway, so if you felt confident enough to engage the First Order on space, know that you'll be alone for a while.

I explained through years of roleplaying how my men are in the legacy era and I don't see it as a problem (JediVsith has always been very lenient). I'm hesitant to fight any space battles until your faction fleet is prepared as my fleet is very small, though I may do occasional orbital strikes (not bombardment). Just tell me how you would like me to serve in the war. My Jedi and Commanders are willing to cooperate in any operation with the full might of the 999th behind them.

To be fair, the existence of the Alliance is presently on the down-low and would only be known to some Jedi and certain people Aerandir and possibly others have reached out to. In fact, their grand debut is here at Dantooine.

I haven't read much into your posts, so sorry about that momentary bit of confusion, mate. Anyways, join wherever you see fit - I've been trying to get a post up at Garang for the last little while, but something always seems to come up depriving me of the drive to finish it. So you can talk with the First Order and see about waging a few battles with them on the ground, send your troops over to the city, do as you'd like - I'd hate to force you into something you don't want to do.

Admiral Norm Beron, at your service. Longtime NPC, recently promoted to PC out of necessity. The Alliance was lacking in PC leadership; seeing as it's meant to be a faction led by "simple" men with the Jedi acting as the superpowered support group. To help better reflect that, I've made this account in hopes to create a more visible leader that isn't seen as the leader. Note that I'm not the leader, in fact there is no singular leader of the Alliance, but I'll be here to help create a semblance of a presence for Alliance leadership.

Howdy hey y'all Looking to get back in the action. I have picked up a few details about the RP from chat. Thinking about playing as Sy, but I have a ton of other characters too. First wanted to see what you all needed for the SL and where would be a good place to start. Based on the timeline I got from chat, it's ~117 BBY, That puts Sy kinda in her dark years and not able to connect to the Force and deeply involved with a smuggler group.
