Faelan laughs, cocking his head towards Raine in a display of his admiration for her answer, "That may very well work, my brother can be prideful to a fault, which can be exploited. Know your foe, hmmm? Nodding in approval once more, Faelan turns as a female Mandalorian armored in grey beskar'gam enters the living area. Raicheal, Faelan greets his clanswoman, whom Raine will recognize even though the woman's buy'ce is still on, with the pale grey hooded headscarf she always wears still up. Vor entye," he says, catching the bottle of pills Raicheal tosses to him.
::Raine,:: Raicheal greets Raine, reaching up to lower the scarf's hood as the sound of Telarial's screams pierces the air.
Faelan is up and running towards Telarial's room as soon as her first words are heard, and he flicks the light switch up as he enters the room, saying gently but firmly when he sees while continuing on for the bed that Telarial still sleeps, caught in her nightmare still, "Wake up ad'ika, I'm here. Reaching the bed, Faelan sits on the side, stroking Telarial's hair softly as he continues to try and wake her, Wake up Telarial, you're only dreaming."

*Telarial, groggily woke up, confused at first and began to fight back against Faelan until it finally registered in her brain that it was Faelan and not an attacker. Tears silently began to flow down her face as she struggled to choke back a sob. She looked at him wide-eyed and spoke barely above a whisper.*
"He said you don't love me...that you can never love me..."
*Her lower lip began to tremble and she turned away from him, clearly in emotional pain.*
"I'm a burden to you. I shouldn't be here. He was right. I'm sorry."

*Raine feels a bit of pride when Faelan approves of her plan. She turns her attention to Raicheal as she enters the room, she barely notices Faelan leave the room as she runs over and gives the older woman a hug.* "Raicheal guess what! Lorcan might be my dad! I just need him to get a DNA test doing...or something like that. Wanna go with us?"

Returning Raine's hug, Raicheal sets her buy'ce on a shelf as she shakes her head after Raine shares her news, smiling as she jokes in her dry fashion, "I would have expected more dismay than excitement from someone learning that or'dinii might be their father. Nodding, she says, If you would like me there, then I would be happy to come with you."
Shaking his head even before Telarial has finished speaking to refute what was said in a dream, Faelan sets a hand on lightly on her shoulder but does not force her to turn back to him, telling her in a firm tone, "No, ad'ika, no. You are no burden, and he could not have been more wrong. And, his voice grows hoarse, revealing his struggle with his own complex tangle of emotions and pain, if anything could make you doubt my love for you, then the failing is mine for not having shown you just how strong and lasting it is. There is no, Faelan looks upwards, struggling to find the right words for his feelings when he has not needed to bring them out in the open for so long, there are no conditions under which what I feel for you are null and void ad'ika. Do you not understand that? Gently turning her towards him, his eyes glistening with unshed tears, Faelan hoarsely asks in a tone of shocked disbelief, You shouldn't be here? You may as well, he makes a stabbing motion for his chest, cut out my heart ad'ika. If I were to lose you . . . he trails off, shaking his head as he realizes it would be unfair to put such a burden on her as saying what he thinks aloud, settling for saying instead, it would be hard to bear, especially since your leaving would have been prompted by something that is not true, could never be true."

*Telarial looks at Faelan first with surprise...then guilt...and at last with great relief when he voices his feelings, and in so doing, erases her fear and doubt. A small smile slowly appears as she realizes and finally understands the gravity of his heartfelt and lasting words. Without warning, she leaped forward and wrapped her arms around him, giving him a hug that revealed the depths of her admiration and love for him. As she rested her head on his chest she mumbled the words that she could only have imagined uttering in a distant dream, having forgotten the rather vague and hazy details when she'd been nearly dying in Faelan's arms only a few short days ago.*
"Ni kar'tayli gar darasuum, buir. I'm sorry if I doubted you. Vor entye...for choosing to be my buir. You'll never lose me...I promise."

"Jate," Faelan says simply, his voice still hoarse, not trusting that he would be able to maintain his strong, stoic exterior were he to try and speak more than he does, though the strength with which he returns Telarial's hug tells its own tale. Having grown accustomed to keeping the emotional side of himself, if not buried and forgotten, at arms length, Faelan has yet to feel comfortable doing so despite having been made to on more than one occasion since Telarial has entered his life.
Sniffing, swiping at his eye with one hand while keeping the other around Telarial, Faelan attempts to adopt a light tone to try and dispel the somber mood as he asks, "If we've settled that matter, there's someone here I'd like you to meet of you're feeling up to it. A clanswoman of mine that I've known since she was an adiik. She's also brought your prescription, so if you are not feeling up to company, I can bring you one of the pills so that your pain does not gave a chance to get out of control."

*Telarial is reluctant to let him go but when she does, she gives him a playful shove with a grin as she wipes her own tears away*
"It's settled. I don't want your clanswoman to see you cry. I'd hate for word of this to ever reach Lorcan."
*Shoving the blankets away, she slowly stands and winces slightly but her determination to conceal any perceived weakness overrides the pain. She nods as she heads for the door.*
"I'd love to meet her! What's her name?"

Doing his best to look stern and severe, the simple joy and love for his daughter clear in his eyes ruining the attempt to a large extent, Faelan bristles theatrically, putting a hand to his chest as though to say What, me cry? Never, "There was something in my eye, that is all. Not quite able to keep from laughing at the whole exchange, Faelan frowns when he sees Telarial wince as she stands, and then rises to follow her into the living area while, trying not to be too obvious about it, remaining close in case she appears about to fall, answering her question, Raicheal. She can be . . . Faelan trails off, deciding it may be best to let Telarial form her own opinion where Raicheal's often dry, somewhat remote and detached way of carrying herself is concerned, especially in light of the fact that Raine seems to have had some positive affect on Raicheal's typically gloomy disposition is concerned. Entering the living area, Faelan gestures towards Raicheal, a brunette haired human woman with intense brown eyes, an athletic build, and a perpetually solemn expression, Telarial, Raicheal. Raicheal, my ad, Telarial."
Inclining her head in greeting, Raicheal says dryly yet sincerely in Mando'a, "Well met Telarial. Able to see the difference in her old friend's eyes as she had heard it in his voice when he spoke of his adopted daughter, Raicheal glances briefly towards Faelan as she says, I'm pleased that you and my burc'ya have found one another, and was saddened to hear of what befell you in Keldabe."

*Telarial rolls her eyes with a snort but the huge grin on her face betrays the fact that she knows he is lying.*
"Sure there was..."
*Once she is out in the living area, she walks towards Raicheal and places a hand over her heart and gives her a small, respectful bow.*
"I'm honored to meet you."
*Her face nearly turned ashen at the mention of Keldabe but she managed to swallow the thick lump in her throat and gave Raicheal a slow nod*
"Thank you for your concern."

Raicheal, who can at times make Faelan seem overly talkative by comparison, inclines her head by way of replying to Telarial's thanking her.
Faelan, doing his best to play host, gestures towards the couches in the center of the room, inviting Telarial and Raicheal to, "Sit, make yourselves comfortable. Pointing towards the pot of shig, Faelan says, There should still be some shig left, and then, as he had only brought enough mugs for himself, Raine and Telarial, says, I'll just go and get another mug, waving his hands in a circle he suggests, Talk among yourselves," before making his way to the kitchen.
Calling upon what often passes for the extent of her conversational skills after a few moments of awkward silence during which she occupies herself by looking around the living area, Raicheal asks no on in particular, "So . . .?"

Telarial cracks a small smile at Raicheal*
"So...I guess we are...umm...clansfolk? Or are we something more?"
*Telarial's confusion is extremely transparent. She decides to shift the conversation when it begins to feel kind of awkward, unsure if the woman was going to answer her questions*
"Faelan...err...I mean, my buir is going to train me for the verd'goten soon. I'm looking forward to that."

Literal minded to a fault at times, Raicheal answers Telarial's question with a shake of her head, "Faelan and I are not related, so we are clanswomen, nothing more. Her brows knitting briefly as it occurs to her that her answer could be taken in the wrong way, Raicheal adds, Though I hope that we will be friends, of course. In time. Nodding when Telarial mentions that Faelan will be training her for her verd'goten, Raicheal smiles and, having seen Faelan train his sons, says confidently, He is a good teacher."
Fortunately for both Telarial and Raicheal, Faelan returns with another mug before the conversation stalls entirely, handing the mug to Raicheal as he asks Telarial in a concerned tone, "How is your pain ad'ika? Do you need one of the pills?"

*Raine was sort of excited, but not in the way that Raicheal was thinking. She was more excited to finally get an answer. Whether it was good or bad. She sat down in the living room and began to plan her course of action. The more she thought about it though, the more nervous she got. *

*Telarial smiled at Raicheal.*
"I believe we will be great friends."
*When Faelan returns and asks her if she is in pain and requires her medication, her eyes dart from Raicheal, to Raine, and then back to Faelan. For a brief moment it appeared as though she was going to say yes, but clamped her mouth firmly shut. She didn't want to appear weak in front of Faelan's friend, although pain could be seen in her eyes.*
"No...I think I'm fine."

*Telarial's attention soon turned on Raine once she sensed her nervousness. She glanced at Faelan and Raichael and gave them a small smile.*
"If you would excuse me...I need to talk with Raine a moment."
*Telarial gestures for Raine to follow her into the next room where they could not be overheard. She sat down on the bed and waved her over.*
"So...something is bothering you. And I know it goes far beyond your worrying if Lorcan is your father or not. Want to talk about it?"

*Raine was a little confused as to what Telarial wanted to talk about. She followed her none the less and sat down next to her on the bed. At first she was surprised that Telarial knew how she was feeling, then she remembered that Telarial was force sensitive. Raine glanced at the floor nervously before speaking.* "I'm just...nervous about them finding out that I'm...force sensitive. Or the fact that I ran away from the Jedi temple on Felucia." *Her face turned red at the last part. She hadn't exactly meant to say that, or wanted to.* "I'm not sure how they'll react. Especially lorcan, he's kinda quick to action. I don't want them to know. Or know that I do some force training when their not around."

*Telarial raises her eyebrows in surprise but soon gives Raine a soft smile.*
"I understand your fear. I was terrified the day I revealed my force sensitivity to Faelan. He was very cool about it. He didn't judge me, or think less of me for it. Don't allow your fear of rejection to prevent you from trusting in those you love. We are family....If you don't have faith in them, how can they have faith in you? They care about you deeply. If you don't want to tell Lorcan yet that's fine. He doesn't know I'm force sensitive either. Tell Faelan. It's a secret and a burden you no longer have to bear."
*Telarial gently pulled Raine into a sisterly hug and released her a moment later.*

*Raine gave a faint smile at Telarials words and the hug.* "Maybe I'll tell him, sometime. I'd rather not let them know right know. You know, with finding out that lorcan might be my dad, I don't want to overwhelm them."

*Telarial's eyes widened and she gaped at Raine in shock.*
"Wait! W-wh-what?! You really think Lorcan is your dad? How do you know? Did Lorcan actually agree to take a paternity test? He totally flipped out on us on the way to the oyu'baat."

*Raine had completely forgot about Telarial not knowing.* "I forgot you were asleep! Lorcan dated my mom twelve years ago. My mom didn't get married until a year later. I don't look like the person, I called my dad. But I do look like lorcan, and kinda act like him also. As far as the test goes...I haven't told him yet."
