Bolnua Nods at the offer of assistance.
-Bolnua We will certainly keep that in mind, the Rakata may have a long history, but the Mandalorian Empire isn't too proud to accept whatever help can be had.
He then turns to Ra Ha'rangir.
-Bolnua With all respect Lord Ha'rangir, our own legion forces or even our smaller units would be too recognizable and distinctive in the region to serve as the front line unit if concealment is the plan of choice. It is simply too close to our home territories. I would suggest then that your own units take the lead in the operation, as much as that suggestion will not endear me to the commander of the 85th Crown Legion. Our crews are also more experienced in navigating the difficult lanes of the Region, and will be able to hide closer and respond more quickly to a summons for backup.
One thing Bolnua had in common with much of the Military branch of the Empire was that he disliked pushing the dirty work off on others, preferring to handle it himself whenever possible. But his reasoning in this case was sound, any military deployment by the empire to the station would be seen as an attack and ruin any chance of covert action. And freeing up enough wet work units to do the job would take longer than Bolnua was counting on them having.
His eyes flicked ever so briefly to the zabrak beside him. She had not talked so far, as was generally protocol for an aide. Though usually someone of his rank would have a much larger staff. Of course, she was also a Princess of the Royal Family. And Bolnua knew that deployed as a member of the 85th Crown was a Prince of the Royal Family. He knew the official policy was that members of the Royal Family were not to be given special treatment, and that to avoid the consequences of that many officers were unfairly harsh with them. But he couldn't help but hope that the reinforcement force might not be needed, if only to keep Gaius our of the line of fire. Which was a silly thought as the man had already been in the line of fire before this whole mess exploded.

Yaim Be'chaaj teh Yaim Hotel and Tapcafe
Torin, resting his chin atop the back of his hand after taking in what Ra and then Boluna add to the discussion, looks to Ra as he says, "In light of what Boluna has shared, and if you have no objection, I think it would be best if his crews assume the role of the reserve force while you and your men with mine go in under the guise of mercs. The remnants of your fleet can stay here, rearm and resupply, and be on hand should any new situations arise. Musing aloud, he says, With the Plague Lord's forces having been quiet since the events at Norgal-dûr, it may be only a matter of time before they resurface, and I'd like to have enough forces on hand to deploy them quickly should there be any developments while our forces are at Terminus."
Looking over at Zdzislaw, Torin says, "Have Mandy join the members of your squad that will be going to Terminus," as it will be a chance for the warrior from Clan Ordo to begin earning her beskar'gam as she has come to Norg Bral to do.
Zdzislaw nods, then instructs Ife to go and get Mandy so that she can join the discussion about Terminus.Ife, one of Zdzislaw's triplets, heads to the room Mandy has been staying in since coming to Norg Bral, knocking on the door as she opens it and grins cheerfully as she tells Mandy, "Yo, red! Pops wants you to come to the tapcafe and meet the dudes and dudettes from the other clans that have come to help out with the Plague Lord sitch. Sounds like you're gonna get your first chance to start earning your beskar'gam babe!"Torin's Vheh'yaim (Prior to Battle of Norgal-dûr) Torin has no discernible reaction to the revelation that Mandy is Force Sensitive; like most members of his Clan, Torin has no prejudice against Force users despite the often times tense history the Mando'ade have with Force users.
Mandy's fears that her injuries might lead Torin to keep her from the front lines prove unfounded as, taking her at her word that she is capable of participating in both close and long range actions, Torin says, "I'll have you join up with Zdislaw Bralor's squadron then, explaining, they are primarily a Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol unit, but I use them as a fast response unit that operates in other capacities as well. You should have plenty of opportunities to earn your beskar'gam serving with them.
Rising from his seat, Torin says, As for now, he motions for Mandy and Ascalon to accompany him as he makes his way to another room that serves as his personal armory and workspace, explaining once they are in the neatly organized room, I should have some plastoid armor that will serve you well enough until you earn your beskar forged armor."
Opening a closet where he keeps multiple sets of plastoid armor pieces, Torin begins searching through them for pauldrons, thigh armor and pauldrons that will fit Mandy as he says, A buy'ce will require some tinkering to incorporate your life-support mask, but I believe I can modify a buy'ce that will serve you well until our smith can come up with something more permanent. The plastoid chest piece, pauldrons and thigh armor Torin finds and brings over for Mandy to try on are of multiple colors - the chest piece and thigh guards green while the pauldrons are black, and he says, Here, try these on and see how they fit. I can make whatever adjustments are needed quickly enough. As Mandy tries the armor on, Torin asks, Have you given any thought to the color scheme or any customization options you want to have in your beskar'gam, other than the helmet? The more information you have about those matters, the easier it will be for our armorer to design something that suits you well."

Ra shifted his attention to Bolnua when addressed by the seeming leader of the D'Ordinii party. It's General or Aliit'alor, never Lord, Quaestor... He turned his focus back to Torin then, nodding in agreement with the man's suggestions. It would make a lot more sense to leave some reserve forces here to aid in any assault against or from Von Bralor's forces. You'll find no objections from me... You'll have my blade and the forces of Clan Ha'rangir...
Several Platoons of Clan Eldar shall remain behind to aid in Manda'yaim's defence, should they be needed. But me and my bow shall travel to Terminus...
And my hammer, along with the remnants of Absolution Platoon of Clan Ordo... In some respects, Ra was glad that they would be handling the Terminus operation without the direct involvement of D'Ordinii forces groundside. He would, as any combat situation required, play nice with them to ensure victory. But it would be a lot easier to have to avoid such scenarios where possible.

-Bolnua My apologies, I meant no disrespect Aliit'alor Ha'rangir. Our own forces are undoubtedly just as eager to ride into battle against the foes of the Mandalorian Assembly. I, however, am not a military man. I must take into account other factors than open brute force. While the Mandalorian Empire does have agents and resources more suited to clandestine roles, I doubt we have any such on this particular site. Though I will be sure to ask for that information.
In fact, he had already sent such a request for information over his internal HUD to the capital, relayed through the communications uplink with his ship. So far, a response had not been received. He pauses for a moment as issues of resupply come up.
-Bolnua While our military is stretched thin at the moment due to the number of engagements already ongoing. We do have a much larger degree of flexibility in terms of economic and industrial capability. We would be more than happy to arraign shipment of any fuel, ammunition, or parts that might be required.

Yaim Be'chaaj teh Yaim Hotel and Tapcafe
Ife, having returned with Mandy in tow, and getting into the spirit set by Ra and his companions as they volunteer for the mission to Terminus, rests a hand on the beskar tomahawk sheathed on her hip as she tells Torin with cheerful resolve, "Ya totes got my axe too!"
Zdzislaw, chuckling as he rests a hand on the shoulder of the most outgoing and bold of his triplets, tells her quietly, "He already knows you're going, no need to volunteer again."
Ife nods, shrugging as she says, "Couldn't resist, sorry buir."
As Zdzislaw and his daughter speak together, and Ra and Bolnua have, it is to be hoped, cleared the air between them about how Ra prefers to be addressed even though the lingering tension between the two that has been evident is likely not to resolved so easily, Torin nods and says, "It sounds like we have the fellowship that will be going to Terminus then, leaning back in his seat and taking a drink from his mug of Netra'gal before going on. Looking at Rundas, Torin says, We could certainly use your platoons with how thin our own forces are at the moment, and can work out later where they will be of most use. Looking at Bolnua, Torin says, Any intel you can provide before they set out from Terminus would be greatly appreciated, and then drums his gloved fingers on the table as he goes on, We could also use any fuel you could spare, explaining, our aerial and orbital patrols have our own supplies dwindling to the point we would have to decrease the frequency or ranges of the patrols looking for Von Bralor. After taking another drink of his Netra'gal, Torin says, Once Captain Dice and his forces return from Concord Dawn with whatever men or equipment Clan Vhett lends to the cause, we'll have the faux mercenary and reserve teams set out for Terminus, which should give them time to learn of any intel Bolnua is apprised of. In the meantime, we can make sure that the ships that will be going on the mission are fully fueled and resupplied before setting out, and make whatever other preparations needed." Ideally, Torin does not say aloud, they will all have a bit of time to learn more of one another and perhaps develop some degree of camaraderie that will increase their effectiveness when the time comes to operate together.

The more information you have about those matters, the easier it will be for our armorer to design something that suits you well." [ Mandy | Torin's vheh'yaim | Norg Bral | Mandalore ] (Prior to Battle of Norgal-dûr) Attn: Harini Bralor & Damocles Ordo [RETIRED] Mandy watched Torin as he moved across the room, and listened to his explanations. When he instructed her to try on the armour, she stood up unhesitatingly, and slipped on the breastplate. She'd taken off her cloak, leaving on only her steel grey jumpsuit.
The thigh guards and pauldrons were next. Fortunately for her, the armor was made for someone small, perhaps a youth or child, and as she was very petite, this worked out well for her. It was more protection than she'd ever had so far, aside from the bracers on either arm. Her own jump boots were made from Echani design elements.
She answered Torin's inquiry when she finished dressing, “A Primary white colour...blue secondary...with gold accents...I work well as a sniper, and...when necessary...a healer.”
As much as she was efficient at charging in with a surprise assault, Mandy preferred firing from a safe distance.
[ Mandy's Quarters | Yaim Be'chaaj teh Yaim Hotel | Norg Bral | Mandalore ]It took some significant time, but Mandy gradually adapted to her new conditions and situation. As close as she had been to Markas, there was a marked difference in the way Torin tended to her, or the people she had been assigned to. They did not try to coddle or treat her as a child, nor did they bat an eye or take umbrage over her use of the Force. She was aligned with them and the Force was just another tool to get the job done efficiently.
She also learnt that she was probably the odd one out, for the clipped way she spoke, broken by delays when she took laboured breaths. Her damaged lungs were a familiar subject, as much as her modified Amban phase-pulse blaster was of the source of jokes and laughter. She did not understand why anyone felt the need to laugh every time she fired the rifle. While it was odd and coincidental that her modifications resulted in the rifle making a noise that imitated a most flatulent emission, it wasn't as if her targets would ever hear it, given the range she'd be firing it from most times.
Mandy had been meditating in her quarters. She'd crossed her legs and interlaced her fingers, resting them on her ankles while she floated nearly three feet off the ground. Centering herself in the Force, she readied herself in body and mind. When Ife called on her, she easily withdrew from the meditation and unfolded her legs, getting into a standing position. Her rifle floated over from the bed into her waiting hand, and she opened her eyes to look at the woman.
“Understood, Ife,” rasped Mandy, “I...will be there...shortly.”
Drawing on the Force, she let the energy flow through her body, soothing the familiar pain in her chest, and allowed herself some comfort while she prepared for any exertion she'd make today.

Ra did his best to suppress the slight smile caused by Ife's outburst, glad to see the fighting spirit she displayed. Turning his focus back to Torin, he gave a nod of his head in agreement with the plan I'll have our forces joining for the mission to Terminus disembark. If there is nothing further to discuss at this time, I would like to retire to my assigned quarters. It has been quite a busy trip here and some rest would do all of us well...

Bolnua smiled, one thing he very much treasured about dealing with other mandalorians was how straight forward it tended to be. In other political circles, everything was guesses and double-blinds. But with mandos, what you saw was generally what you got.
-Bolnua I suppose that leaves me holding the staff. Or at least directing them. I'm afraid my beard just isn't up to the task.
He takes a moment to pass a hand over his clean shaven face with another grin.
-Bolnua But yes, there will be quite enough to organize for now. Until morning then.

All those assembled gave a nod before Ra and his companions collected their helms and headed for their assigned rooms within the Yaim Be'chaaj teh Yaim Hotel and Tapcafe. Within the hour orders had been transmitted up to the Ha'rangir battle group and transports were descending down with their passengers aboard. While the ships would have been a welcome comfort for this trip to Terminus, they would serve a much more useful role here helping to protect Manda'yaim. He just hoped they would be enough should this Plague Lord or his servant Von Bralor manage to attack. Only time would tell.
