==The Great Hunt== <<107 PP; S12 Sector, Nal Hutta, Azure Palace>>
The Hutts hadn't been the only ones looking to improve relations. With the fall of the latest version of the Republic to First Order forces, the Mandalorian Assembly had been more heavily pressed for both resources & manpower. Relations between the Hutt cartels & The Imperium had improved some what since the Imperium's withdraw from their northern territories. The additional space had done much to cool the long running feud. There were still heavy ideological issues to deal with, but in the face of a greater threat, they could & would be ignored.
That being the case, Aya had made the special effort of being physically present for the event. Instead of the usual reliance on proxies of one type or another. Security arrangements had been handled to both major parties' satisfaction, if not to that of their personal guards. In the end, the entire event was very well secured, though neither side really fully trusted the other.

Henoc had arrived at the Azure Palace earlier and stood off to the side watching everyone entering the palace, he saw a few mandalorians. One in specific caught his attention, was the one who was wearing a helmet with horns which was missing one. Henoc knew who it was and he was curious as to why he was here. The Hunt would be more difficult if he was one of the hunters participating, however there are several other reasons as to why he was here. Henoc could only wait and see.

Tarnac walked into the palace and found a spot on the wall to lean against as he waited for the hosts to announce the Hunt. Tarnac was excited as this hunt meant that he could acquire many more Jagannath points. He knew few of the other hunters that were gathered here, he was hoping that he could face at least one in combat during the hunt.

As his students finished unloading from the ship and were ready, Gavin motioned for them to follow, but said nothing. During moments when he was around others during this hunt, he wanted to remain the unknown, the shadow. It was a moment for his students to be seen and shine. The most any would think of when they looked at him was curiosity towards wearing his cloak. No presence, no sound, no visual appearance for others to witness.
As the made their way into the palace, he could already see others present and waiting for the event to begin. A few Mandalorians, a couple of Trandoshans, even a few armored beings of a few different races. But what stood out among all of them, outside of the group of younger warriors he had brought was Luxeria. Surprised and, yet, not so surprised, he smirked under his hood when her fiery red hair stood out from everything present. She didn't even look like she was truly ready for a hunt. No armor, a few lightsabers, even sporting some jewelry, the only thing that would have added to the effect she cast was if she had kept with her more alluring attire of skirts and the like instead of her more traditional Force order attire.
He said nothing, though as he moved behind his students once they were all inside. Unless she chose to speak with them or one of his students opted to talk to her, he'd remain silent.

Having been escorted in a few minutes earlier by a pair of Gamorrean guards, Luxeria had taken up a spot just off from the center and waited with her arms crossed. Each time the attention of a new hunter appeared, she turned to get a fix on them as she had with all those she could see in the immediate area.
It was when the group of fifteen poured in that she remotely even turned enough to truly look. It took only a moment before she recognized the group as Gavin's students. Though she didn't see him and only the cloaked man with them, she assumed it enough to be Gavin. It was curious in many ways. Why Gavin chose to hide under the cloak and why did he bring all of his students? By what she could tell when she saw them a year prior, they were capable with the training they had received. Gavin must have thought quite a bit of their current level of skill if he chose to bring them. The real question was if they were acting as individuals or as a group. The first option seemed highly unlikely at the moment, making her settle upon the group idea. Still, she was curious as to how well they'd do, especially Kosrezic. For a quick moment, her green eyes shifted her gaze over to the purple Twi'lek before looking at Gavin, then back forward once more, awaiting the start of the hunt.

The students fell in line behind Gavin as he motioned for them to follow. As they moved towards the interior of the palace, each of them kept on guard, not knowing what to expect. Inside, it was amazing enough to see all those that had currently gathered for the event. It certainly proved to be a popular thing. And it couldn't help but be noticed that their competition was a bit intimidating.
It didn't take long, however, to notice Luxeria amongst the gathering. She stood out so easily and was just a easily recongizable. Kosrezic, above all, took notice, happy that her role model was taking part. Not only would the Twi'lek find out just how strong Luxeria was, but the woman would get to see just how far her training had brought her as well. It was the perfect oppertunity to work at becoming worthy of an apprenticeship with her. It excited her more as well when she felt that the red haired woman looked at her, only furthering her resolve.
But outside of some nods, none moved to speak with her, only waiting as did their teacher.

Approaching the Palace and landing at the assigned platform, Brayark hit the canopy release and climbed out of the cockpit. With a soft thump, the fully armed and armored Mandalorian landed on the pad beside his vessel. Casually glancing around, he took in his surroundings. Guards posted along the exterior of the Palace itself, every ten meters. Gamorrean patrols pacing back and forth, as well as a patrol of large armored walker droids. They certainly weren't messing around with security here. Not that he was here to cause problems, but still. Clearly both the Hutt Cartel and the Mandalorian Assembly wanted to mend bridges. None of which mattered to him right now. Noticing the large banners hanging over the entrances to the large open air arena, Brayark ensured his weapons were secure and his gear was on his person before setting off towards the arena. As he strode towards the arena, and the subsequent gathering of participants, his HUD was actively scanning for threats. Several lightsaber wielding participants had already been identified. As had a few reptilian competitors, among them a rather aggressive looking Trandoshan. As he made his way through the crowd, he noticed the familiar red and black colored armor of one of Clan Awaud's members. The distinct handprint across the buy'ce quickly identified this Mandalorian as Henoc Awaud. Having previously met with him a few weeks prior to this event, Brayark nodded slightly as the other Mandalorian's gaze drifted over him. Finding a suitable location to stand, off to the side but still visible from the central stage, where Mand'alor herself and a Hutt were standing. Flexing his jaw beneath his buy'ce, Brayark stayed his hand. He wasn't a terrorist, as tempting as it was to pop of a few shots at their illustrious leader, it wasn't his style. Nor the style of this iteration of Death Watch. Aya's day would come. But it wasn't today. So far, aside from Clan Awaud, no one even knew of his dislike of Aya and Clan Ordinii, so it wasn't like he would appear threatening to anyone else. No more so than the average Mandalorian mercenary did, at any rate. Even Death Watch itself was keeping an incredibly low profile. Until the movement gains significant followers and support, there was no reason to reveal anything to the rest of the Assembly. Yet.

Having arrived with his sponsor's droid, Erpon was standing in the shade, beneath the VIP boxes, watching the arriving participants. His nostrils flared as he inhaled. The red-maned human female. She had a very sweet and alluring scent to her. The blonde haired human male in a robe merely smelled off the interior of a starship. Recycled air. The younger beings following him carried various scents of their own. Too many to specifically identify in this crowd. But he did notice each of them has a lightsaber clipped to their belt. And they weren't dressed even remotely like Jedi. Which meant they were either Sith or Dark Jedi. And that made them fair game, once they left Nal Hutta. The Hutt's palace was neutral grounds for the upcoming Hunt, but once the hunt began and everyone went their separate ways, everything was fair game. Henoc was here. The Barabel had noticed the Mandalorian's red and black armor. Opting to not engage with him, he figured both Henoc and Orrick would still be holding a grudge against him for the stunt he had pulled on their space station a good while back. Catching whiff of the sickly sweet scent of a carnivorous predator, Erpon's eyes darted through the crowd, finally coming to rest on the grey-skinned Trandoshan, Tarnac Klussk. It seemed as though the hunter had decided to take Erpon's invitation to this event after all. Regardless, the smell of freshly oiled armor caught his nose. Watching a grey and blue armored Mandalorian with a cape enter, the Barabel's jaw flexed in anticipation. He didn't recognize the Mandalorian's markings. A new member, joining the mix, perhaps? This could be an interesting hunt, after all. Still silently observing the competition, Erpon waited until such time that the Huntsmaster would begin...

Azure Palace, Landing Platforms - Nal Hutta.
Landing his ship, Orrick climbed out of the cockpit and down, onto the pad. Ensuring his gear was secure, he glanced around. Gamorreans, droids, several bounty hunters and mercenaries and even a few shackled Wookiees passed before him. Clearly the Cartel never slept. Even with an event such as this, the Cartel's gears kept on turning. Time was money, he reminded himself. And the Hutts were rather fond of their money. Noticing a steady stream of beings heading to what looked like an arena, Orrick fell into step with the crowd that was milling forward. Hardly inconspicuous, as least among normal folk, the red and black armored Mandalorian made his way into the arena. Ornate stone carvings adorned the pillars and the sky was framed neatly by the open air design. Several beings were already gathered in the lower pit, while a Hutt and Aya were standing atop the central stage. The distance between the two beings was noticeable, even from here. Smirking, Orrick paused and took in his surroundings. Serpentine battle droids were posted all along the perimeter of the arena. Several imposing Gamorreans stood near the exits, armed with menacing looking axes. Looking up to the right of the entrance he had just come though, was the VIP boxes. Several powerful dignitaries were there, including a familiar red and black tattooed Zabrak...below the box in the shade, was the Barabel, Erpon Saris. Orrick wasn't overly fond of the reptile ever since he and the Klussk Clan had managed to pull a fast one on both himself and Henoc. However, he wasn't one to hold grudges. Business was business. And he didn't actually endanger either of them in his little stunt. Further along, the molted gray-green Trandoshan, Tarnac Klussk, was present. A skilled hunter and a vicious fighter, Orrick planned on steering clear of him from now on. Orrick noticed the Aliit'alor of Clan Vizsla, making his way to the lower pit so the event could begin, and there! He spotted Henoc off to the side. Making his way through the crowd, Orrick approached his brother.
Vod. Tsikala at parjir ibic?
Smirking beneath his helmet, he figured he already knew the answer, but he had to bug Henoc, at least a little bit before they set of to hunt things together.

Receiving conformation that all of the expected guests had arrived and were now present within the Arena, Zordo slithered down from his throne and towards the front of the stage. Extending both stubby arms outwards and booming loudly in Huttese, the Hutt welcomed his guests.
"Welcome, one and all! To the Great Hunt! Together, with Mand'alor herself, we have organized this event for your entertainment! Now, without further ado, I present to you, @daxsantos, the Huntsmaster for this great event!"
Cheers erupted from the crowds seated around the upper balconies of the arena. Spectators had come from far and wide to view this event, and now that it was finally getting underway, the crowds went wild. Surrounded by opulence that only a Hutt could provide, there were scantily clad women dancing, loud music playing and vendors were serving varieties of alcohol, food and other illicit goods. This was, after all, Nal Hutta, Zordo's domain. Aside from it being neutral grounds for the participants, anything else was fair game here.

Gavin looked up, gazing upon the Hutt from under the hood of his cloak as he moved to greet all those in attendance for the Hunt. Patiently, he waited as the floor was handed over to the Huntsmaster. The time was now upon them as he wondered just what all would be in store for them, and even more, what his students would think.

Finally, after what felt like forever waiting among gathered hunters, things seemed to finally be getting underway. Trying to keep any disgust and irritation from her expression, including her eyes, she turned her gaze upwards to see a Hutt slithering forward, greeting them all before introducing and handing the floor over to the Huntsmaster. This was meant to be a hunt that challenged the greatest hunters and so she was deeply curious as to what all they'd be facing and if it'd truly be challenging enough to test her growing abilities. In a few moments, she'd find out.

With the Hutt, Zordo's announcement and introduction of him and the Hunt, Dax stepped onto the stage, he was excited for the hunt to begin. When he looked out in the crowd as they cheered, he could tell that it was the same feeling with every hunter here. Dax cleared his throat before he began to speak. Thank you, Mighty Zordo for the introduction. Welcome Hunters to the greatest hunt of your lives, I'll be your Huntsmaster for this hunt. Before I begin to explain the rules of the hunt, I would like to take this time to thank our hosts, Mand'alor and The Mighty Zordo, I would also like to thank the sponsors of the hunt as well. Now the first rule is simple, no killing of your fellow hunters inside of the Palace. Killing of your rival hunters out in the field is prohibited, engaging your fellow hunters out in the field is allowed. Second rule is that an ID10 Seeker Droid will follow you and keep us here at the palace informed on your progress. Third rule is that you will receive all information on your targets through a Custom battle droid known as a redjack, the Arcite model. These droids will inform you are how you will be scored, individual hunters will be scored slightly different than hunters that have opted to work as a part of a group. Any hunter who tampers with the droids with face harsh consequences. The Redjacks are waiting for each of you at your ships. Dax paced on stage as he spoke, trying to gage what each hunter was thinking. He stopped for a moment to allow what he just said to sink in, before he continued.I would like to now introduce all of you each other, sponsored by the Mandalorian Assembly are Orrick of Clan Awaud, Henoc of Clan Awaud, Brayark of Clan Vizsla. Henoc was kind of shock at how few mandalorians were there to take part in the hunt, he wasn't shocked by the fact that both the trandoshan and the barabel from Orrick's mission to kidnap a sith lord were there. Henoc was curious by who The Organization was, he had heard very little about them. Not wanting to be interrupted when the sponsors began to speak, he thought it best to not ask his brother any questions until after the sponsors spoke.

From his seated position within the VIP booth overlooking the arena below, the Zabrak's yellow eyes never left the droid after it began projecting an image of a finely dressed human male. A small smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. The Illusionist? Very clever. Using a holo-droid to attend an event without ever having to reveal yourself to potential enemies. Smart, but cowardly. Though he was now rather intrigued by this individual. He'd have to get his agents to do some digging on him and this 'Organization'. He had heard of it before, though it was represented by someone known as The Mysterious Man. Aside from that he had never really bothered to learn about who he was and whom he represented. Now it seemed like that was a necessity. Still eyeing up the hologram of the Illusionist, he motioned absent-mindedly to Adaar Rykus, the Governor of Malidris, one of the Sith'ari's entourage accompanying him to this event. Lost in thought, the Dathomirian Nightbrother, dressed in a crisp suit with the Clan Savage crest on the left shoulder and the Governor's Office insignia on the right shoulder, stepped out to the small balcony and spoke. His suave voice carrying over the crowd.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Sentients from all across the galaxy! The Sith'ari bids you welcome to The Great Hunt! He wishes all competitors representing the Blackguard Reborn to fight ferociously and give no quarter. Remember your training and you will succeed where your opponents fail. Be strong! Be proud! And represent the Blackguard as only you know how! Failure is not an option! A very lucrative prize will be awaiting the winning individual or team, regardless of their stripes. Fight well. All glory to the Blackguard!
As more thunderous cheers and applause rang out, Rykus bowed in acknowledgement and stepped back from the balcony, taking his seat at the Sith'ari's right side. At this point, Viox was merely lounging in his seat, drinking from a goblet. His interest and intrigue in the Illusionist sated for the time being.

Luxeria listened as the Huntsmaster stepped forward and began explaining the rules. It was curious to know that while none would be allowed to kill the other participants, fighting and disrupting them would be allowed. It meant she would have to her guard up at every moment, doubly so when engaging a target. Though as interesting as it would be, she saw no reason to go after the others. For one, it would only delay her in her own conquests. On the other, she desired to prove herself with these creatures in a test for herself as well as to show herself as one of the best, if not the best, hunter present. And for her to truly achieve that, she had to beat them by letting them gain all they could. Only then could she truly be called the greatest hunter.
As the opening went on, the floor being handed to the sponsors, it took all she had to not utilize her Force Stealth and Doppelgänger combination, placing her copy over self before fading away under the illusion. Doing so would allow her to head to her ship, get the info needed to start, and get underway before the closing statements. But it was a risk she didn’t want to chance. She just had to be patient and wait all the speeches out. Not much we’re left after Viox’s escort spoke for the Blackguard. But she would fight as he expected and she planned to come out on top, all the while collecting new trophies to adorn her chambers, if not the halls of the Dark Obelisk.

NCO and his guards moved into the arena late, but not quite before the hunt had officially started. He noticed Aya in the stands, and caught himself up to speed as he bowed in her direction. NCO would hunt alone, though always accompanied by his six Praetorian guards, at his sister's behest. Getting the droids back to the ship would be .. interesting. Flying down in fighters meant they'd have to get a shuttle to haul the droids along, unfortunate. He sent the necessary request to his host ship, and a shuttle was dispatched.
He neither watched nor ignored the other hunters, some of who he recognized most of which he didn't. Though he was pretty sure there would be files on each of them when he checked later. He just would have to see about getting the droids situated later, but they had their purpose so he wouldn't begrudge them their lot in life.

With all of the sponsors having spoken and the Huntsmaster having announced the participants, it was time to begin the hunt! Slithering forward once again, the Hutt spoke loudly in Huttese, his voice booming over the crowd.
"The Redjacks have your first tasks and the ID10's have been programmed to follow each hunter. So, the moment you've all been waiting for: let the Great Hunt begin!"
At this point, the crowd went wild. Cheering and thunderous applause. It was practically deafening. But, the Hunt had officially begun. Each Redjack would have their specific hunter's first hunt information ready to go and, upon successful completion of their first hunt, the second one would be added on. And this would proceed until a hunter reached the specific point cap that would be revealed before the first hunt began. For now, however, each participant was free to leave to their ship and go from there.
