The Redjack droid known as Arcite 1A-01 turned and faced Lady Luxeria and began to speak all the while displaying holograms of her target and the target's location. Greetings fabled Lady of Darkness, you have been assigned to hunt...Data corrupted. Please wait one moment. You have been assigned to hunt a Krayt Dragon and to collect it's pearl on Tatooine and return it to Nal Hutta. Would you like to know more? Luxeria's attention shifted intently upon the Redjack as there seemed to be an issue with hers. Enough so that it caused her to raise an eyebrow at the fact. It was but a moment before it once again was back on track, giving her her first target. She looked down, thinking on the creature. In truth, she very little about many of the dangerous creaturs throughout the galaxy. this was just as much a time to learn more about what lied in wait as well as prove her skills. Motioning for it to follow, she led it to the cokcpit where she took a seat, taking over the controls as the pushed upwards into orbit. "Tell me everything. In fact, from here on, do not ask. Give me all the information you have to give ech time a new task is given to me."

Krokaa thought on the use of another ship and understood. It had been a rather pack trip here. something bigger would be nice.
Following Gavin out of the palace, he watched as they passed the droids designated to join them and they fell in line. Upon the motion from Gavin, he turned to the Redjack.
"What is the first task appointed to us?" The Redjack known as Arcite 3A-03 turned and faced all of the young force users, the droid then began to speak and display the holograms of their targets and the location of the targets.Salutations young Warriors of the Force, all of you have been assigned a task that will no doubt test your abilities as true hunters. Your task is to track down and capture a herd of living Vornskr on the planet Myrkr, once you have captured a herd please deliver them back to Nal Hutta. Would you like to know more?

Krokaa nodded in response. Every ounce of knowledge they could geam about the situation was best. Especially if these particular creatures were meant to be captured alive, making their task that much harder.
"Please fill us in."

As the students interacted with the Redjack, Gavin lead them to the location of the Nexus-class freighters. Boarding one, he informed the crew of their need for it and so the crew began scattering to prepare it for launch. Before long, the ship was in the air and heading for orbit.

"Please fill us in." Arcite 3A-03 nodded and continued to speak, all the while displaying images of the Vornskr. The vornskr are native to Myrkr, they are wild, vicious canine species that have the unusual ability to sense the Force. This ability evolved to help them hunt ysalamiri, but a side effect caused them to think that Force-sensitives were their favorite prey. The Vornskrs are primarily nocturnal hunters, and they use their whip-like, mildly venomous tails to stun prey before finishing it off with their teeth. They are normally sedate during the day, but hunger or other factors could drive them to hunt during daylight hours. Reports from Myrkr indicate that a herd of Vornskr was seen five miles out of Hyllyard City, caution is advised. Updated Information: Sightings of two Hunters who have disregarded the rules of the hunt have been seen in Hyllyard City. No available information on the hunters at this time.

Grinning beneath his helm, the Mandalorian turned on his heel as soon as he was able. With a swish of his cape, the Aliit'alor of Clan Vizsla was already well on his way back to his ship. Eager to prove both what he was capable of, and to show that Death Watch was so much more than a simple terrorist cell, Brayark motioned for the Redjack to squeeze into the cargo compartment behind his pilot's seat. Waving the ID10 out of his face, the little droid zipped into the cockpit of the ship before Brayark could completely seal the canopy. Powering up the craft, the Fang Fighter lifted off and shot skyward. As the craft ascended through Nal Hutta's atmosphere, Brayark called out to the droid behind his seat. My first target. What am I hunting and where do I find it? Piloting the craft through the atmosphere, the ID10 droid settled in on the dash above the instrument cluster. Mildly annoyed, Brayark ignored it for the time being. He had other things to worry about right now.

Months after The Great Hunt...
The Ajuur Cartel had managed to secure prominence as well as vast amounts of public and private support for hosting the Great Hunt. Holding two steady alliances with both the Blackguard Reborn and The Organization, the Cartel also occasionally employed some of the more nefarious Mandalorian Clans to achieve its ends. With the slave market prospering on both Nar Shaddaa and Kashyyyk, Zordo's Cartel was the biggest underworld organization so far. But rumors had it that there were others attempting to step in on his turf, and that wouldn't be tolerated. They would either be squashed outright or assimilated into the folds of the Cartel.

*A Belbullab-22 starfighter descends from orbit, soaring across the swampy marshlands of Nal Hutta. Crossing into Azure Palace airspace, the pockmarked and scratched fighter swoops down into one of the less bustling hangar bays, coming to rest on the patterned floor. A Kaleeshi male emerges from the fighter, a double-bladed vibrosword strapped to the back of his combat armor. His vibrant yellow eyes stare out from his ceremonial mask as he calmly and slowly approaches the hangar guards.
"Greetings. I am Maekrix san S'kar, here by invitation of the great Zordo the Hutt. I am expected, as well as one of my associates. I am unsure if they have arrived before me."
*The Kaleesh makes no threatening gestures, but neither does he make a motion to disarm himself, instead carefully surveying the hangar.

Having arrived some time earlier via a shuttle Fyefee had spent his time floating from table to table in the casino. No stranger to gambling the the Iktotchi found no pleasure in it today, for every credit he earned today he lost it again moments later. It would not surprise him to find out that the Hutts had found a way to rig the the tables so the House always did win. Maybe they had Force users at the games of chance.
Moving on from the chance games he made his way towards a set of tables dedicated to Holochex. Sitting across from an older Twi'lek Fyefee only nodded adding his wager to the table and flipped a coin to decide who went first. Winning the toss he proceeded to move several of his pawns rather erratically as one would who had only dabbled in the game. Twice he pressed the button on the side that showed him an optimal move. Just as he was backed into a corner on the board one of the employees came and bent over whispering into his ear.
Your associate has just landed.
Nodding he waved the man off. Sorry, seems the game is done.
With that Fyefee moved a monster that had been on the other side of the board who was now in a position to capture a third of the other players characters. After losing so many monsters he became flustered and made amateur mistakes in an attempt to regain control of the match. Soon after he was beaten. Shaking hands Fyefee took the credits and stood walking towards the hangers to meet Maekrix.

Kargesh Vizla, Zordo's top lieutenant, greeted the Kaleeshi and the Iktotchi in the main atrium of the Azure Palace. Having been informed of their arrival, he approached the two and spoke.
The mighty Zordo welcomes his new guests. He awaits your arrival in the throne room. Follow me.
The Mandalorian motioned for the unlikely duo to follow him, as he led them past sabacc tables, slot machines and plenty of guests, all enjoying the luxuries that the Palace offered them. Upon approaching the throne room, Kargesh introduced them.
Mighty Zordo, your guests have arrived. Maekrix san S'kar and Fyefee Jaa.
The opulent Hutt, seated upon his hover throne, smoking from his hookah, exhaled a cloud of blue-gray smoke and acknowledged them. In Huttese, his voice boomed loudly.
"Welcome, Maekrix and Fyefee. I am Zordo, owner of this fine establishment and founder of the Ajuur Cartel. My assistants tell me you are here for business. What brings you to my domain?"

Hajime Darklight walked the corridors of the corridors of the Azure Palace. It was something he did when boredom kicked in, he wanted some excitement. Things had gotten a little too relaxed for him and that made him feel uneasy. Hajime always felt at ease when there was someone or something to shoot at or if he had to interrogate someone. He moved to a doorway in the main atrium and leaned against the frame, he was out of the way and no one would notice him looking in on the meeting that was happening. Hajime had his usual look on his face, one of boredom and disinterest. Hajime made sure to be silent so that he would not be noticed.

Post by Klaasje Le Wydvile [RETIRED] on Feb 28, 2020 10:20:14 GMT -8
Klaasje wasn't too fond of Nal Hutta. The slimey overlords of the planet -and the whole sector around it- were none but the worst of the worst, as duplicitous as they were morbidly obese; however, both terms wouldn't offend the slug-like crime lords, apparently. Or so she believed. The young woman was superbly-dressed, sitting on the back seat of a repulsor vehicle, some kind of luxurious skiff, surrounded by enforcers of the Twin Golden Suns syndicate, half of them being tall droids with long riffles. The vehicle itself was piloted by a threatening IG series droid, photoreceptors moving and scanning the environment constantly. Traversing the city was hard at this time of the day, but Klassje expected to arrive before local noon to the so-called Azure Palace. And so they did, luckily, for the baroness was getting impatient. When they reached destination, her bodyguards formed a screen around her, while the tall IG droid walked by Klaasje's side. Soon thereafter, a request for an audience had been forwarded to His Great Obesity, Lord Zordo the Hutt, in the name of Lady Klaasje Le Wyldvile Maracavanya, boss of the Twin Golden Suns Syndicate, Baroness Administrator of Nomad City in Nkllon. She did not truly expect the Hutt to know her name or exploits, but she was confident bussiness could be conducted smoothly with the Hutt crime lord, for an individual of his size and stature was always looking for any profitable ventures and associations; hutts were not a race to disdain a busines opportunity.

The Azure Palace continued to function as it was meant to, despite the idle hands of the higher powers. Even with the idleness of the bosses of the Cartel, the gears behind it still churned, moving vast amounts of spice from Kessel, Yarrock from Iridonia and slaves from both Nar Shaddaa and Kashyyyk. Smugglers and enforcers were kept busy. Mercenaries continued to be hired for protection. And the Cartel's hired guns continued to ensure that Zordo's will was enforced and followed.

Profits, rivalries, scamming and even the odd heist were all things that transpired, as the Cartel's gears continued to turn. Slaving was way up, thanks to Nasir's operations on Nar Shaddaa, and the Cartel's operations on Kashyyyk. Spice and coaxium continued to be mined from Kessel and shipped across Hutt Space to be distributed to various vendors or fences across the galaxy. Smugglers and enforcers were kept busy, as usual, while bounty hunters across the stars continued to bring in enemies of the Cartel, and mercenaries continued to sign up for protection, extortion rackets or even frontline service. All in all, the Cartel continued to function, despite the idle hands of the higher powers...

Much had happened in the past two years and a significant amount of power within the Ajuur Cartel had shifted. Zordo had become preoccupied with several other ventures that took his time and focus away from the Cartel's primary dealings, which left it short on manpower as well as territory. Previously spanning Kessel and Kashyyyk, the Ajuur Cartel, without proper direction and motivation, had shrunk down to operating solely on Nal Hutta for the time being. The Azure Palace itself, remained immaculately kept, and was booming. Clientele, businessmen, workers and servants all kept the Azure Palace busy. And, seated on his throne at the very center of it all, Zordo had once again taken the helm of the Cartel.

Slowly but steadily, the Hutt Cartel was rebuilding itself and reclaiming lost territory. The Kashyyyk slave trade was once more becoming a veritable source of income for the Hutts. Run by primarily Trandoshan slavers, overseen by Vrossk Kodra, one of Zordo's top lieutenants, things had fallen in line quickly enough. Kessel, on the other hand, was proving to be a bit more difficult. Those still loyal to the Ajuur Cartel were defending the Cartel's interests, while the rogue upstarts determined to make their own way, were fighting back against the Cartel's rule. This disrupted the spice and coaxium trade. Which was bad for business. Kargesh Vizla had been summoned to take command of the Cartel's forces and regain control of Kessel for the Cartel. Soon, the Ajuur Cartel would return to full strength. And while the Cartel struggled on one front, the Azure Palace continued to be a bustling hive of activity.

Azure Palace - Zordo's Throne RoomOpulence was certainly something that Zordo didn't lack, in his Palace on Nal Hutta. His throne room was decorated with ornate gold pillars and a while marble floor. Three feet away from the foot of Zordo's throne was a massive grate that led down into a pit where he kept a few...pets. Normally, Zordo would feed those that provoked him, disobeyed him or failed him to his menagerie, however, today was different. Standing before him were three individuals. Kargesh Vizla who was Zordo's left hand, @hajime , a particularly vicious enforcer and Idron Priest , a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter under the Cartel's employ."Jee gee wa ree lhoie hotpa che vee see uba "(I have a very important task for each of you)The Hutt eyes up each of them for a moment, then continues speaking."Kargesh an Hajime, kuna kee meeto toe Pattee an koose fa bata biw Pohka pankhai."(Kargesh and Hajime, you will go to Kessel and bring it back under Cartel control.)Turning to the golden armored Mandalorian, the Hutt motioned for one of his servants to bring out a tray, holding a bounty puck and tracking fob."Cotky, Jee gee wa wah chee che uba. Doket Vol, wa wahca pankoph see tee du bu Mewizenka Bapkaha dah Te rosu, gee moocha wa phoba see bmela doi ten. Boonowa jen, moova mee bu dan an woy an dopyacmi see jen um baw wah Pohka."(Priest, I have a bounty for you. Tucker Vol, a former contact of ours in the Refugee Sector on Nar Shaddaa, has stolen a crate of spice from us. Find him, return the goods and make and example of him for the Cartel.)Boomed the Hutt, somewhat angrily. Since his disappearance and Nazair's death, he was left incredibly short-handed even as he tried to rebuild his Cartel. Outsourcing to bounty hunters to enforce his will was something he'd have to get used to for the time being. Though Idron Priest came highly recommended. All in all, he'd have Kessel back under his thumb soon enough. And this thief would be dealt with.

Accepting the bounty puck and activating it to get a good look at his target, he deactivated it and stored it in his belt, along with the tracking fob. Rather than waiting for the oversized space slug to dismiss him, he merely turned on his heel and walked out of the throne room. Making his way to the landing pads, where his ship was currently docked, it was time for him to get to work. Nar Shaddaa was within spitting distance of Nal Hutta, which cut down on travel costs, however, the Refugee Sector was teeming with tens of thousands of beings, coming and going. It was a hive of activity and tracking one man through it would be interesting, even with the tracking fob. There was enough interference on the Smuggler's Moon that it might not give an accurate signal. If this Tucker Vol had changed his appearance in any way, shape or form, it would be next to impossible to find him. Though Priest doubted a simple thief that decided to jack a crate of spice was that smart. Regardless, it was time to leave Zordo's palace and get on with his job. It certainly wasn't the highest paying job he had ever taken, but being able to make an example of this man was certainly appealing. Climbing into his ship and seating himself in the cockpit, the Kom'rk powered up and lifted off the pad, accelerating skywards.

Azure Palace - Zordo's Throne Room.
The reach of the Ajuur Cartel had diminished significantly, due to the deaths of several key members, as well as the lack of proper guidance and enforcement of his will. Diminished, but not dead. No. The Cartel would be rebuilt once more. It had happened once before, and so it would happen again. But now it became a more political game. Negotiations, bribery as well as keeping promises would be what kept the Cartel afloat now. But, this was his Palace. And this was his Cartel. The credits would never stop flowing, regardless of who decided to try and knock him down. He would rise again, stronger and more powerful.
