*Once Faelan enters the room and clearly sees her buir's uncertainty, she raises an eyebrow and keeps silent as she listens to his rather flustered explanations of what occurred after she'd left him alone with the other woman. Soon a grin grows on her face and she rolls her eyes at him.*
"You still haven't figured it out yet, have you? I left on purpose, so you could have the opportunity to get to know Delilah! I see you must've made quite an impression on her, for her to invite you to dinner."
*Telarial smiles coyly, revealing that her abandonment of Faelan had been quite intentional and for this very reason.*
"You don't have anyone your own age to talk to--" *She holds up one hand to halt any forthcoming denials on Faelan's part, her grin widening.* "Your brother, Torin, me, your niece and nephew...and others within your close knit business circle DON'T COUNT. Talk about BORING." *She snickered with clear amusement.*
"Of course I always love to spend time with you. If you want me to join you with her for dinner...I suppose I don't mind if you really need me to hold your hand during the experience." *Telarial struggled to keep a straight face but succeeded for about five seconds before she broke out into a laughing fit. She laughed so hard at Faelan's expression, she fell off the bed she'd been sitting on and landed on the floor. She struggled to regain her composure and the laughing tapered off. Until she looked back up to see what expression was plastered all over her buir's face. Then something she'd disregarded hit her like a ton of durasteel. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped. She jumped up to her feet and took a few steps towards him and couldn't help the shrill tone of voice that escaped her throat as her disbelief became transparent.*
"Buir! YOU DIDN'T ACCEPT HER INVITATION YET?!"
*She walked over with a small frown and tried to push him towards the door. It was nearly impossible since Faelan had a rather solid center of gravity. She grunted as she tried to reason with him.* "Unacceptable! You--argh---need to go...right back--grr...and accept--in person!!" *She finally gave up in trying to physically move him, inclining to dramatically lean forward to allow her forehead to hit Faelan's chest armor. She didn't move from her comical position and released a soft, frustrated growl.*

Faelan, indulging in a bit of selective hearing, arches an eyebrow in amusement as Telarial abandons her efforts to push him towards the door, sounding relieved as he says, Great! It's decided then, you'll join us. Patting Telarial on the shoulders and gently lifting her up into a standing position, Faelan says, And it's just a . . . business meeting really, she's interested in having me test out a project she is working on, see? She has designed a prototype Bes'uliik, and I've agreed to try it out, share my thoughts. No hand holding will be involved, so don't worry about that, he scoffs with a chuckle as though the idea that there is anything else involved in the dinner invitation is absurd, which only serves to reveal Faelan's utter inability to conceive or perceive that Delilah's interest is in him rather than his thoughts about her work.
Ignoring Telarial's suggestion to accept the invitation in person, Faelan takes his datapad from a pouch on his belt as he says, I'll let her know we'll meet her in, oh say two hours? That is around the time most cultures take their evening meal, so Falean nods as though Telarial has agreed, backing towards the door as he types a message to Delilah to say that he and his daughter will pick her up, and adds to make sure that the venue is one that appeals to Telarial, I'll even let you pick the place, alright? This will be fun. Giving his daughter a thumbs up, Falean says, We'll meet here in two hours, alright? Alright, he concludes quickly enough to prevent his daughter from getting a word in edgewise, turning to head for Raicheal's quarters to see whether or not anything has happened requiring his attention.
Nearly two hours later, still garbed in his beskar'gam, Falean raps on Telarial's door and calls out, Ready to go ad'ika?

"Only a business dinner?" *Telarial rolled her eyes and released a derisive snort, unsure whether to feel annoyed or merely amused by her father's blatant oversight.* "Tell yourself what you want. Whatever helps to keep you safe from the jaws of irreversible insanity." *She sighed as she collapsed on a nearby lounge chair and eyed her suit of beskar'gam next to her on a coffee table. Before Faelan leaves she points out a good question.*
"If you really believe a beautiful woman like Delilah invited you over for dinner just to discuss 'business matters' with you, you've got another thing coming! Buir, you saved her life the other day. I understand that dinner is her gesture of thanking you. But giving you an extremely expensive basilisk Droid for FREE? Read between the lines father. Delilah likes you."
*After Faelan returns asking if she is ready, she nods but makes a face at his appearance.*
"Buir, you aren't going to dinner dressed in your beskar'gam are you?"

Having given Telarial's opinions on the possible intentions or motivations behind Delilah's invitation some thought prior to having come to collect Telarial so that they can go to meet with Delilah, Faelan is less certain than he had been that his interpretation of the situation is accurate; though, as he is who he is, the uncertainty is not something that he allows to trouble him, his natural inclination to let time reveal the truth of the matter instead of fretting about determining that truth before it is revealed in the due course of him.
Arching an eyebrow unseen beneath his buy'ce when asked if he is planning to attend the dinner in his beskar'gam, Faelan asks in a bemused tone, What else would I wear? Shaking his head with a grunt in lieu of a laugh, Faelan says, Don't worry, I'll take off my buy'ce while we eat, and I even removed my wrist flame thrower and rocket launcher for the occasion. Stepping back and bowing in an exaggeratedly courtly fashion while sweeping an arm out in invitation, Falean asks, Now then, shall we gallivant off and collect Miss Delilah? As they begin making their way to their speeder, Faelan asks in an amused tone suggesting that he finds Telarial's interest in the matter of Delilah and their dinner together quite amusing, Wouldn't want to keep her waiting, would we?

*Telarial nods in acceptance and slides into the passenger side of their speeder and drums her fingers against the beautiful fabric of a garment made from one of the local tailors. She hated wearing dresses so decided to go with leggings and a sequined dress top. They were of course, the same colors as her beskar'gam. Telarial also brought her duffel bag, stuffed with her actual armor in the event something happened. Not that it would since she'd used the local law enforcement database and Delilah's home planet's registrar to verify her identity and to get a thorough background check. The woman was clean as a whistle. No, she was going to be prepared should some dikuut try to crash their party...*t
"Where is dinner being held?" *She asked. Her fist was propping up her fist as she rested an arm on her knee in a sign of clear boredom. Maybe she should have just allowed Faelan and Delilah to go to dinner themselves. That's when she hatched an idea. Then shot it down immediately. She could always ditch them during dinner but of course her overprotective buir would believe something was amiss and search for her, abandoning his date. ARGH! Why did life have to be so complicated?! For a young woman of 17, Telarial still didn't fully understand the intricacies of adult life, even though she was considered to be one in the Mandalorian culture. As they were passing through crowded streets and weaving through traffic, something occurred to her and it made her eyes bug out briefly. She glanced over at her buir, still in his beskar'gam and held a hand over her mouth to stifle a laugh but failed when it came out as a muffled snort. She turned her attention back to the road before them and pretended to be interested in something else. She knew he was curious to her random outburst so dropped him a hint...*
"I think wearing your beskar'gam was a nice touch, buir. She will be more than pleased to see her knight in shining armor."

Arching an eyebrow beneath his buy'ce when Telarial asks where they will be dining, Faelan reminds her, The choice is yours, remember? Don't tell me that you've forgotten and haven't picked someplace? Chuckling, Faelan says, Well, I suppose you still have some time to do some research and pick a place before we pick up Miss Johansen.
Glancing briefly from the flow of traffic that their speeder has joined when Telarial stifles a laugh, Faelan sounds predictably confused and perhaps a little annoyed as he asks, What are you on about now? She's already seen me in my beskar'gam, ad'ika, I hardly think . . . Rolling his eyes with a shake of his head when he finally catches on to what his daughter is implying, Falean mutters somewhat lamely, This again? then insists with the first hint of uncertainty entering his tone as it occurs to him that he is the one that does not have an accurate grasp of Miss Johansen's intentions, It's just a business dinner.
Moments later, after setting the airspeeder down on the rooftop landing pads of Delilah's hotel, Faelan walks beside Telarial towards the entrance and then to the turbolifts, asking, So, have you picked where we'll be dining yet?
Once they have taken the turbolift to the floor of Delilah's room, Faelan removes his buy'ce and tucks it beneath an arm as they make their way to Delilah's room. Reaching up to smooth back the mussed strands of hair that have escaped from his ponytail, Faelan asks Telarial as much as himself, "Ready?" and then raps on the door.

*Telarial nods in response.*
"Yep. Delilah actually suggested a few places. I figured the Moonlight Diner might be a good pick. They actually serve homemade cuisine from Manda'yaim."
*Once they arrive at Delilah's door, Telarial smiles softly at her Buir.*
"As ready as I'll ever be."

*After about a minute, Delilah answers the door with a radiant smile on her face.*
"Good evening Faelan....Telarial." *She softly inclines her head to them both in turn before shutting and locking her door behind her. She turns to face the duo after slinging a handbag over her shoulders. She hands Faelan a key-card.*
"This key-card will give you unlimited access to my storage unit. You may take command of your new basilisk war droid whenever you so desire. Once the droid imprints with you, it will serve only you...unless you happened to have a twin I'm unaware of," *Delilah teased*

Smiling as he shakes his head, Faelan tells Delilah, "No twin brother, and then adopts a theatrically skeptical expression as he jokes, Not that I know of at any rate. Lifting a hand to convey that he had only been joking in the event it was not clear that he had been, Faelan motions towards the turbolifts for Delilah and Telarial to precede him as they set out for them, Faelan lifts the key-card Delilah had given him and says, Thank you for this."
Pocketing the key-card and setting his excitement to see the war droid for himself, Faelan falls into step between Delilah and Telarial. Reaching out to press the button to summon the turbolift, Faelan searches for something to say, settling eventually on, "I, er, we, though the Moonlight Diner would provide an interesting experience. Looking over towards Telarial with a pleading and mildly panicked expression as though asking for her to help him with keeping the conversation flowing, Faelan says, It, the diner I mean, offers homemade Mandalorian cuisine, right Telarial?"

*Telarial gives her buir an encouraging smile. She silently mouths the words "just breathe" while hand gesturing the action when Delilah isn't looking*
"Yes, it does. Quite a variety of memory serves."

*Delilah smiles*
"Excellent choice. I'm rather partial to their roast shatual and red gourd soup. The Cassius tea is particularly good."

Faelan smiles with a nod when Telarial silently offers him her advice, and then, reminding himself that he has survived far more stressful and perilous situations than a simple dinner, does his best to relax and enjoy the evening and the company of his daughter and new acquaintance. "It sounds like you already have your order planned, Faelan says with a laugh after Delilah has expressed her enthusiasm for the restaurant Telarial had selected. As they step into the turbolift when it arrives, Faelan gesturing for Telarial and Delilah to step in before he follows, he asks Delilah, Where are you from originally, Miss Johansen? I cannot place your accent exactly, but if I had to guess, I would say you are from somewhere in the Core Worlds?"

*She laughs softly and shakes her head*
"Just Delilah, please. I don't need a prefix to make this body feel any older. You have a good ear, Mr. Bralor. I was born and raised on Corellia. My father was a diplomat and sometimes we moved from the core worlds out to the Mid-Rim. It has been...an interesting life thus far."
*She thanked him when he held open the door leading into the dining establishment. After checking in with the host, the three of them are seated and handed menus. Delilah briefly glances at it but keeps it closed, already knowing what she wants to order. Telarial picks up her menu and browses, eyebrows rising when she sees that yes, they do have a nice selection of homemade cuisine from Manda'yaim.*
"So what about you...what's your story?"

Faelan, nodding when asked to call Delilah by her name rather than continue using honorifics, listens attentively as she speaks a little of her life as the daughter of a diplomat, somewhat disappointed that she does not delve deeply into the subject of the interesting life she mentions before asking him of himself.
Grimacing faintly without realizing that his expressions are not as guarded as they might be given that he is more at ease with Telarial present than he might otherwise be, not comfortable talking of himself or his past as a general rule, Faelan shrugs after debating internally how much to share with Delilah when they have only just met, replying, "Not a particularly interesting one. Chuckling to make it evident that his opening was an attempt at humor, Faelan continues, My father was a butcher, and my mother was a baker. A small wistful smile accompanies Faelan's admission, I followed a different path than they; I wanted excitement and adventure, and so became a mercenary. Shrugging once more, Faelan decides to leave a more detailed account of his story for another time, asking Delilah, What was it like growing up on Corellia? Do you miss it?"

One afternoon, in Calna Muun, the ambassador of the First Order presence and embassy, shared within the capital city, approaches the Mandalorian government building. It becomes known that he desires to speak with the Aliit'ator of Clan Bralor on a sensitive matter. He would not go into further details, stating that his message was intended for the ears of the Bralor's leader only.

After one of the Mandalorians on guard outside of the governmental headquarters has notified Faelan of the First Order ambassador's request to meet with him, and has been asked to bring the ambassador to Faelan's office, a pair of Mandalorians lead the ambassador inside the building and escort him to Faelan's office.
Faelan, seated behind his desk when the First Order's ambassador is shown into his office, stands and walks around the desk to greet him. Though he has left his buy'ce resting on the desk behind him in deference to the aruetii preference to show one's face when conducting the majority of their affairs, Faelan is attired in his black and green beskar'gam. "Welcome, Ambassador, Faelan greets the First Order ambassador, shaking his hand and then motioning towards one of the chairs arranged in front of the desk to invite the man to sit as, never having been one to beat around the proverbial bush, he then asks, Might I ask what is it you have come to discuss, Ambassador?"

*Telarial escorts Delilah home with an apology and the promise that they will meet again and gives her both her own and Faelan's contact information. Seeing as how her buir was pulled away for an important business matter, returns to her guest suite. She suits up in her beskar'gam, grabs her weapons and sword, leaves the hotel. Feeling the need to practice her fighting technique, she unsheaths her new vibrosword and begins basic forms while waiting for her father to finish his meeting.*

The Imperial Ambassador sent was known as new to Agamar. A Bastion native by the name of Marius. He was middle-aged, had a son in the Imperial Army and a daughter who was married to a naval commander. His father was previously an Admiral, but died during the Third Galactic Civil War. Marius did not have the appetite for war like his children and father did and was thus allowed entry into the Imperial Diplomatic Corps. He eventually rose to the status of Ambassador for Agamar.Aliit'ator Bralor, it is good to finally meet you. The Emperor sends his best regards to the First Order's most trusted and longstanding ally. He wishes to report, ahead of time, that the next scheduled payment of materials will be on time as arranged. The Treaty of Agamar had not only split the planet between the two nations but ensured Clan Bralor was given military-grade hardware and other necessities, manufactured by the First Order. A treaty that was beneficial to both. His Imperial Majesty has given me the task of presenting a proposal to Clan Bralor. He draws out a datapad and offers it to Faelan. With the First Order turning into an Empire some time ago, he wishes to see Imperial ties increased with its Mandalorian neighbors. He values, greatly, the Mandalorian people and desires a greater degree of cooperation. We also have another proposal. He points to the datapad. We would like to borrow a reasonable number of your warriors for an upcoming battle. The Emperor desires to know what your price would be and how many you would be willing to grant to the services of the Empire.

Reaching for the datapad that Marius holds out to him, Faelan sets it down beside his left hand without immediately perusing its contents, giving the First Order ambassador for Agamar his complete attention while he continues speaking.
Pulling the datapad closer and reviewing its contents after Marius has explained what the First Order's Emperor would ask of Clan Bralor. As he reads, Falean says, "It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Ambassador. Please tell his Imperial Majesty that Clan Bralor sends its best regards to him, and continues to greatly value our relationship with the First Order. Before we discuss the matters of numbers and compensation, Faelan says as he slides the datapad to a side and folds his gloved hands on the desk in front of him, perhaps you can tell me a bit more of the upcoming battle his Imperial Majesty would have us join him in waging? Where, and when will the battle be fought, and who is it being fought against? A large percentage of Clan Bralor's population serves in the fleet or infantry forces the clan maintains, meaning that, even without calling on those that do not, who are all, as Mando'ade, trained in the art of war, they have enough experienced soldiers available to them to both protect their interests and loan to the First Order provided that the number of warriors they hope to enlist in their cause is not too great. In the interest of clarity, Falean asks, Is it only warriors trained in infantry combat that the Emperor seeks, or in other arenas as well?"

The Imperial Ambassador suspected this question would come up. The Emperor was not entirely inclined to let others know of what was to come, but if necessary, a word could be given to their trusted allies. Marius exhales deeply, knowing this would likely cause a reaction once it was spoken.
His Imperial Majesty plans a decisive strike against the Galactic Alliance. These troops would participate in a great battle over the planet of Mon Calamari.
Marius let those words sink into the mind of the Mandalorian.
It has come to our attention that the Galactic Alliance is faltering at the very seams. The Emperor desires that the First Order administrate the final blow to its weak structure and integrity. Imperial forces are already being marshaled for this impending and final strike that will be launched within the coming months.
Marius knew there was great risk letting their plans be leaked to the Mandalorian. At the same time, given the situation of the Galactic Alliance, none would willingly dare raise their arms in its defense against the overwhelming firepower and numbers at the disposal of the First Order. All knew that the successor of the Republic was dying, if not on death's doorstep.
The Emperor offers the Mandalorians of Clan Bralor the opportunity to share in this momentous occasion. The greatest achievement that the First Order will perform since the founding of our nation and the establishment of its status as an Empire. He hopes that you will join him.
