Hello members of the First Order!
I’m Lenoka Asichi and I was hoping to join the wonderful Imperials of this fine group. I’m still working out the details of my character but I have a real interest in joining up with Imperial Intelligence. Very observant with the ability to notice small detail, a desire for knowledge (especially hidden secrets,) and being a quick learner as well as a really good memory. I’m not looking to have her brought up in the First Order but more discovered for her talents and brought into the fold if that’s possible. Skilled in politics as all Pantoran consider it an art form. It was her disagreements with her family and many of those in charge that made her decide to depart he home in search of something new.
Hoping to get the chance to write with you lovely folks!

Lazy? Surely such a thing couldn’t be true? Lol. Sounds good. I look forward to hearing from them.
I am certainly up for an introductory story to get her rolling. I have an idea of how she might possibly get puked into the First Order. A sort of inadvertent talent search, one could say. And I believe it could be done with any member of the First Order, not just those involved in Imperial Intelligence. Create a story for a First Order officer/member one a mission or even just taking some r&r that ends up stumbling into a situation that would warrant the First Order’s involvement or they personally feel they would and have Lenoka get wrapped up into the story. That way she can use her skills and talents to aid the officer thus showing her potential value in the First Order.
Just an off the cuff thought I had.

Someone that the Humanitarian fleet was giving a physical too could be a way in. Abnormal tests get her noticed. That is low key another function of the fleet.

Hello, sorry for the delayed response, I am the previously mentioned “Lazy” II director. A recruitment pull is definitely something the department of personnel is always watching looking for talented individuals. What sort of things are you interested in doing once you’ve joined? Single agent missions or something higher up?

Someone that the Humanitarian fleet was giving a physical too could be a way in. Abnormal tests get her noticed. That is low key another function of the fleet. I'm curious as to how that would actually work out. I guess it depends exactly what is involved in a physical, but I don't really think there is anything in that aspect that would signify a potential recruit, especially for the Intelligence group. Single agent missions or something higher up? It's not a problem. Life does tend to keep us busy from time to time. Lenoka would be up for nearly anything that her skills would effectively place her. Even if her abilities were able to get her into the department, I would imagine she'd start lower to the bottom and climb her way up, which I'm completely up for. Really help round out her skill list and use her natural talents in different settings, as well as hopefully impress the superiors. |

Okay, yeah I have II set up in a way that there are options for a variety of agent types. Pulling off the street will generally land you in some training and then at the bottom rung of whatever department you’re pulled into however competency brings quick advancement in II so we can pull you toward whatever goals you want or if you have no goals we can simply accommodate stories for you to ply your trade.

How would you imagine a good scenario of her being discovered and brought into the II be? I mentioned a couple posts back of basically her getting wrapped up in a mission they had and they noted her skills. If anything, I would like to establish a proper story to bring her into the order of possible. From there, we let things grow and develop from the ground up and see what happens.

She is getting a physical. Reflexes, response time stuff like that could be easily tested. There are a few things that could work.

I guess I'm still uncertain how this would fully work. She is capable, fit, and can fight well enough, but I wouldn't imagine that she'd be anything special that would catch the First Order's attention through a physical, at least that would catch the attention of those in Imperial Intelligence. Maybe if they were trying to recruit her into any of the trooper corps, perhaps.
Don't get me wrong, I do not wish to make it feel as if I'm rejecting the idea. Just looking to see how it could work is all.

In theory, one of the the "redacted" tasks of the Humanitarian fleet is recruiting special individuals. So they would be on the look out.

As appealing as that is, I feel I’m going to have to pass. I haven’t had the chance to introduce her into the FO and I really want to go about this with a proper establishment as to how she was recruited before bringing her into any social events.

Statement: If seeking something new, a Recruitment/Career Office would have information on available paths, and knowledgeable individuals to discuss her potential, within the FO for her. Why isn't she availing herself of these resources? If her talents are going to catch someone's attention she needs to demonstrate them in some compacity that will be noticed and attributed to her. What is she doing now that might get her noticed? |

The planned idea is that she is recruited by Standash’s Humanitarian Fleet. The planet she is on is attacked by pirates and the fleet cones in, clears them out and renders aid. As the aid is given, a few pirates that remained behind work to infect the FO database, or at least that regarding the Humanitarian fleet one in which Lenoka is able to step up and quickly eliminate before it can do serious damage due to her skills regarding computer navigation skills especially coding and hacking. From there that skill is what causes the FO to recruit her. She’s not actually seeking to join the FO, or the thought hasn’t crossed her mind until that moment.
