So is the rp going to continue or should I just give up on the site?

Mostly just stuff on the landing pad. Didn't know if everyone is taking a vacation or what. There hasn't been a post in 2 weeks despite a bunch of characters being there. I think Roland was up in post order.

I apologize for the delay, I got unexpectedly busy the last couple weeks. I probably won’t be able to get to it tonight, but I will get to it in the next couple days, it will be the next post I make I promise.

Is The First Order its successor government?

So as Fiora says, yes, it is a spiritual successor as in it is an Imperialist nation. It even controls systems that once held loyalty to Sinistra's Empire, but in depth, it is its own thing. It takes more from the Fel Empire and Pellaeon's Imperial Remnant in terms of OOC and IC inspiration. Imperial Knights being the biggest connection to the former. Nicademus had done his best to keep the links between Sinistra's Empire and his own are bare minimal to nonexistent, save for the obvious of "Imperialist" similiarities. He aimed for the First Order to be his own creation so that it was his legacy, not a borrowed/extended legacy. He always connected the roots of the First Order more with the Deep Core Remnant than that of the preceding GE he failed to keep alive.

Correct. After Sinistra left, the membership pretty much just *poofed*. Whatever had remained of it was thrown to the wind when the Empire disbanded. And then the First Order returned to the Core and regained these systems once held by Sinistra and her empire.

So, a lot of the civil war has been determined, at least the spark of it and the end. Everything in between is up in the air and available for a good story. We did our best to mainstream everything so that this didn't take too long, but would still be a great story to enjoy! The lines are divided as such:

- The Royalist camp desires to see the continuation of Octavian, the eldest child of the late Emperor and his heir by designation. He has strong support among the younger officers and some key elder statesmen, such as the Grand Marshal Zahn and the Grand Admiral Kasalle. He has the backing of the Imperial Knights, who he educated with as Crown Prince, and the support of the 501st Legion, the Imperial Guard. He is to begin his campaign from the Outer Rim with his main base at Bastion, the Bellator-class, Viligance, to serve as the tip of the spear.

- The Old Guard camp is mostly a plot to ensure maximum chaos within this civil war. A cabal of officers propped up a reluctant Baltasar Delvardus, one of the uncles of the late Emperor's children. They have launched a violent coup on the capital world of Coruscant, which has decimated the capital and killed a loyal servant of the Empire and who was family of the three contenders. The Core worlds have, as a result, erupted into total chaos as Baltasar's cabal seek to expand his grip while other systems fight against the Ren and these Imperial traitors. They have strong support among the older commanders and soldiers that have long known and respected the Grand Marshal, now rival Emperor. He starts off with the capital in hand and one of our SSDs, a Super-class.

- The Fiora camp which is dominated by the machinations of Harnan, Master of the Ren. Fiora is the twin sister of Octavian and was raised to follow the path of her mother, the late Empress Illaria Ren. Using some faked evidence, thanks to a certain master of spiders, the Ren have struck out from their lair in the Deep Core and captured Kuat. Fiora, herself, has claimed Empress Teta as her capital during this conflict. Their flagship was a captured project from Kuat, an unfinished Mandator V.

You are welcome to join a side or sit out to see what happens. I don't wanna speak too much openly about the course of the war, but I can include you in a PM with Fiora Ren as we both know the course at the start and at the end. We can give you a better picture and help you decide where you wanna be if possible. I do like the idea of another Admiral though. Never can enough of anything and anyone in terms of station and rank.
