Skillfully piloting his fighter towards the misty mountains where the Tiernvael Temple was located, Sigea landed the craft within the hangar bay and clambered out of the cockpit. With a light tapping of his boots and a rustle of his cloak, the Dark Jedi was standing on the cool stone floor of the temple's hangar. Casting a glance around, he noticed several other ships docked within the hangar with workers and droids milling about, fulfilling their various duties. There certainly was an aura to this place. Though it wasn't as old as he expected. No, this was relatively recent. Someone had recently decided to reclaim the abandon throne of the Dark Jedi. But who? And why? These questions and more, circled within his mind, though he suspected he would find his answers soon enough.

The Kaleesh inclined his head respectfully as he was addressed, helm still gripped under his arm. The reptilian yellow gaze of the Kaleesh peered at the glowing green embers of the one he assumed to be The Fallen. Physically sightless? An interesting development, though irrelevant."Correct. Kalee lends her aid to the Dark Jedi Order, should you require it. Having trained to follow in the footsteps of the revered Qymaen jai Sheelal...otherwise know as the Separatist General Grievous, you would find that I am a capable leader, devout warrior and sole commander of Kalee's armed forces and navy..."Adding in the mention of General Grievous seemed to be required, as apparently no one here knew his original name. Regardless, he was here now, ready to stand beside his brethren within the Order... Oh, I wound you? You've made it a rare occasion in which I can do so, Fallen. I'll seize the opportunities given to me. You'll learn to forgive me, in time, as I have with you. Mariah's otherwise cool, apathetic tones rang about in his head with an almost playful hint which very few were granted to witness. It was then that Ifrit's dominating presence came into view, and with it, she offered a dark, knowing half-smile and a nod in his direction.... The two could continue on with their conversations without her, although she needed to hold back her tongue to more of Xel-Tun’s words. The continued explanation of the footsteps he followed, and how that made him a capable leader, was met with mixture of mild annoyance yet amusement to the weight he put upon them. She would see it in his actions soon enough and judge him then. However, when all was said, it was a matter that meant little to her. Her immediate judgement was unnecessary, yet it was another reason proving that involving the Fallen was a wiser decision than not.“I'll leave you both to discuss your… matters in private…” Before Mariah fully made her departure, however, she turned to address Xel-Tun with a faint nod of her head in a silent farewell. “Welcome to Ambria, Xel-Tun. May you one day find what you seek.” With nothing more to say to the two, Mariah turned and headed deeper into the Temple, once more to her chambers to continue the ongoing, tedious tasks she set for herself... If he achieved nothing else but to raise that playful tone from Mariah today, he would be fine with that. Especially with how somewhat short lived the feeling had been when Xel-Tun introduced himself. The mention of following in the path of the Separatist General Grevious causing something of an annoyance for Mariah. But before she could say anymore, she took her leave to attend to other matters.
He turned his attention back upon the Kaleesh warrior then. Weighing up the man's offer of Kalee to the Dark Jedi Order. It was certainly an interesting offer, and one that would provide a number of advantages. The most important of which was a planets worth of resources at their disposal. However, that came at both an advantage and disadvantage. Primarily because said planet was located on the doorstep of Muunilinst, deep within First Order controlled spaceHopefully you will not follow too closely in the General's footsteps, lest you befall a similar fate as the cyborg... After all, we are all here to forge our own paths forward and prove ourselves through our actions... As to your offer... if Kalee truly follows you, then we welcome you and your people... Though, there are certain complications that we shall have to work around... Specifically the entire Imperial Nation that sits between here and there...

Her first words went unnoticed as she spoke softly and on top of his continuing train of thought. He couldn't help, however, breaking a small smirk at what she said next. A humorous thought, to say the least. "Or perhaps a means to fool others into believing something other than what's true? After all, who doesn't like surprises?" He looked back to Eris for a moment, his smirk widening a bit before returning his gaze back to his sword. He honestly couldn't remember the reason he chose this type of weapon. But what he did kbow was that the decades spent wandering, losing the need to fight to his fullest ability, it became a simple accessory and the truth of who he was in combat faded with time. It was Mariah and thier duel on Iridonia a few months prior that began breaking the shell that had formed around him, letting him remember who he really was in combat. No doubt it meant changing things up for the first time since he start in using metal blades.
Turning back to Eris, he gave her a nod. "That would be nice. I've seen all I need in here." Some surprises are nice... But I find that many of them are disappointing... This way...Eris lead the way out of the room then and back through the dormitories. Heading for the northern most ward of the temple. Here, a number of specialty rooms had been constructed and furnished for use in forging gear, growing various plants, brewing various concoctions. Anything the Dark Jedi Order could feasibly need. She activated a door control and lead the way into the first Forge.
It was a fairly plain looking space. A massive Forge acting as the centerpiece, while various tools and work stations were set up around the room allowing for easy access while the metal was still hot. She motioned toward a sliding door set in the far wall thenThere are a number of materials already stocked over there. But you are more than welcome to use your own materials... Any other questions?

With her words, Gavin cocked an eyebrow before acting a bit hurt. "Well, that's quite a buzzkill." He chuckled a bit shortly after and followed her from his room.
Continuing to look around and become familiar with the temple as a whole, he said nothing, allowing for the woman to speak as she needed. Nothing came of it until they reached the area of the forge. He began moving about the room as if one clearly familiar with such a layout, looking at the work stations and the forged itself, turning his head to the door of the mentioned metals. "What metals are currently available?" It was a simple question that really didn't need an answer as he could always check himself when the time came. Still, he opted to ask as he moved around the forge and back to Eris where his eyes fixed upon her and a new question unrelated to the forge. "However, the real question I'm curious about is who you are and your relation to the Dark Jedi? You have power, that much is clear. And you certainly aren't a slave or servant of any sorts. As far as I can tell, I'm the first to arrive since this planet has been taken, so that would mean you have been here since the beginning. An apprentice or a master yourself?"

Eris walked over to the door and slid it open, revealing a sizeable storage room which connected in to the other Forge rooms. The sehlves were lined with ingots and sheets of varying sizes and shapes Durasteel mainly, but we also have some lanthanide, duralium, neutronium, and titanium... She moved aside from the door to allow him a better view in, as he returned his attention to her and asked his next question. It seemed their topics of conversation had turned from a simple tour to more personal. She smiled You are correct... I have been by The Fallen's side since before he formed the Dark Jedi Order with the Fallen Empress... I stand as the first of the Twilight Mages... What you might consider to be a master... I was once a servant to him, in many different ways... While Banrion had served as the General of Ifrit's forces, she had also warmed her Masters bed. Spending many nights locked in passionate embraces to satisfy the others hunger. But such days had passed But no longer. Now, I choose my own path... To teach those who wish to learn the mystical arts... And to take pleasure wherever I wish to find it...

Gavin moved with Eris as she went over to the store room and displayed the contents within. He would keep them in mind for when he finally sought to craft a new weapon, be it for him, another, or simply just because. But it had been merely a starting question before the one of importance, which brought more than he was expecting. Moving over to the closest work station, he let himself lean back against it, crossing his arms as she spoke.
It was a bit surprising at how open she was to the question, evening smiling as her answer came. Most spoke just a little of themselves, the basic and up-front details that were easy to obtain from anyone. He remembered his first meeting with Mariah and what it took to get her to open up. It was certainly a day he'd never forget as it seemed to be one that woke both of them from their ever going slumber. But then there was Eris, speaking of things that many would have considered too much information. But that was the biggest thing he desired in his arrival and why he had truly asked for a guide. He cared not about the building as that could easily be learned on his own with a little exploration. What he wanted to know of was the order and those within it.
When she finished, he simply gave a nod. He was a man more geared towards action than words, but sometimes there were no actions of any value. "I see. So you have truly been here before it all. I can only imagine how far back that really goes. But if there is one thing to be glad for is that you can find such things were you choose. It has no meaning any other way." He then thought on the title she held. "Twilight Mage, huh? Master of the mystic arts. A curious title. One crafted for this new Dark Jedi Order?"

Though, there are certain complications that we shall have to work around... Specifically the entire Imperial Nation that sits between here and there... The Kaleesh ignored the jab at following too closely in Grievous' footsteps. Becoming the best General within the Confederacy was no easy task. Neither was adapting to being a cyborg. Especially when he found it insulting. But regardless of what had happened in the past, Xel-Tun inclined his head at the mention of his offer."We fear no Imperials! Many have tried to tame our wild spirits, none have succeeded. Whether it be war or peace you want, we stand ready to aid you. And I stand ready to join this order, would you have me, of course. I am well versed in the late General's fighting styles and have honed my abilities as best I can. Without proper educators, I am only able to progress so far, however..."Finishing his training and elevating the Order to the heights it deserved was his only purpose at this time. Once he was more confident in his Force abilities, he would proceed to crush any and all enemies of the order, with extreme prejudice...

Ifrit crossed his arms as Xel-Tun spoke of his and his peoples willingness to abide by what ever command was given them. The offer certainly showed potential, and he would be a fool to let it slip by so easily Very well. We will accept your offer and welcome you within the Order. We will test you and train you. So long as you and your people remain loyal and prove useful, then you will find a home here. We shall just have to move people and supplies more covertly from here to Kalee, lest we lose them to the Empire... For now, we must bide our time as we build up a force strong enough to take on Imperial targets. And you receive the proper training to be worthy of a title within our ranks. Fair?

He then thought on the title she held. "Twilight Mage, huh? Master of the mystic arts. A curious title. One crafted for this new Dark Jedi Order?" Eris was amused by the fact that her response surprised Gavin. Perhaps he still had issues trusting his new allies. And, after all, if you could not be truthful with your allies, then what good were they. She placed her hands against a counter then, before shifting her self to sit upon it as Gavin asked more about her and her titleDo not be so sure of your answer Gavin... I don't suspect you have ever lived the life of one who has given up their freedom... You believe that life without free choice is not worth living. It is a fantasy to believe that we have any true choice of our own... Some people rebel against the idea. Others embrace it, and recognize the truth of this reality... I placed my faith in The Fallen, and he did not disappoint me...Eris was always amused by those that assumed free choice was the only thing that had any true meaning. She had freely and willingly given up her freedom. As had many others before her throughout history. Some rebelled against their masters. But others had found solace being able to concentrate on the task given to them and letting someone else worry about the mundane tasks of normal societyYou are correct about my title though. It is one among many that have been created for the Order... Once your abilities have been assessed, you too will be granted a title as well. Based on what I've seen so far... I imagine you will be granted the title of Void Knight...

Keeping his composure, Gavin didn't seem to react much when Eris corrected him as to the situation of her servitude and her willingness of it. There would always be moments of misinterpretation or misunderstanding of conversation. What mattered was learning to correct oneself instead of letting it become offensive. At least, when trying to keep things in a friendly setting. When she finished, he merely gave a slight bow of his head. "Apologies. Most when thinking of such a situation think of slavery and the freedom that is ripped away from them. I suppose it is true that life can carry the same meaning provided one can see it as you have, or find that place where it all still matters. But I do understand what it means to give up one's freedom, if only from a different point of view. For a third of my life, I gave up my freedom for a life of exile, cast away from ever finding anything to matter within my life. Far different than what you speak of, but it is still a life of sacrifice, your only choice to keep moving and never look back. But that is in the past.
He then thought on the title she figured he'd have once his skills had been assessed. "A Void Knight, hmm? What would that be and I could give you the answer. But if there is anyone who can to attest to my abilities, it would be Mariah. A few months ago, we had ourselves a little spar. Needless to say, I came out the victor in that fight. I suspect we'll have a rematch soon as she's not one to take defeat lightly. The desire for a good challenge is one of quite a few traits we share."

Eris gave a nod of her head in recognition of Gavin's story of exile. It was certainly one she could relate to. Or, more accurately, her former self could relate to. After all, she was a new woman born this day. Something that was going to take some getting used to as time went on A Void Knight is fairly straight forward. Whereas Mages master Magic and Alchemy, Knights are masters of combat and strength. They may know a little bit from other areas of expertise, but their focus is upon fighting with more... conventional means than the powers I wield... Sounding accurate so far?

As Eris began to seak of what a Void Knight was about, he couldn't help but smirk with a nod. That was, indeed, his particular approach to combat, though carrying a massive sword was most likely a dead give away to the fact. "You would be correct. Despite my capabilities in many aspects of the Force, my skills excel in the art of combat. I like to consider myself a student of the arts and am quite experienced in many forms of unarmed and armed combat, including different weapon types. On top of that, after nearly two centuries of focused and intense training, my physical capabilities are at their peak. Never been one for limits, but despite what we believe, everything has a limit to what you can achieve."

Eris was not the least bit surprised that she had pegged Gavin without even having to run him through any trials. Some people just had a look to them that spoke volumes about their skills. And Gavin was well and truly one of those people. His answers continuing to back up the facts. She gave a slight shrug as he stated that everything has a limit I suppose you're correct... But you never truly find your limit until you're dead... So, was there anything further you wished to ask me? Or is your time here drawing to a close already?

Gavin smirked with a shrug. He believed that everything had a limit, though it was rare any lived long enough to truly reach it. Then again, when faced with true desperation at dying, one could see if one’s actual limits were reached or not. "I suppose so. Desperation in the face of death is good for breaking those few boundaries that can never reach normally. But for the moment, I have no other questions, though I have more than enough time. Any questions you have for me? And any thing else you feel I may need to see?"

As for anything else you should know about this place, you can learn when you return and have more time to explore. For now, you should be on your way lest your students miss you...

Gavin laughed a little as she mentioned again his departure. "Trying to get rid of me, are you? He shook his head. "If them missing me is the problem, then I've certainly coddled them too much and they'll never make it on their own. But they'll be just fine without me for a few weeks. This isn't the first time I've left them to their own devices. Plus, one of them is currently leading the class as part of his own training in becoming a leader."
He then looked around the forge for a moment. "I have plenty of time so as to become better acquainted with this place and others within the order that are currently here and may be arriving in the time to come. Can't really consider myself part of this order if all I do is show up, join up, and leave shortly after, even if I had a reason to do so. Otherwise, when I do return, I'm still just an unknown."

For someone that had requested a quick tour of the Temple because he had duties to return to, he sure did not seem in a rush any longer. She smirked then And what if I am trying to get rid of you? Would your feelings be hurt? She pushed herself off the bench then, the hive speaking to her of the approach of a new arrival. She returned her attention to Gavin then, as he spoke of sticking around for a few weeks Well, perhaps you should find the Empress, I am sure she will be happy to see you again. Otherwise, feel free to use the forges as you need... For now, I have some business to attend to... Until next time Mr Phoenix... She gave a nod before moving past him and out of the forge to make her way back through the Temple to the Hangar Bay...

Gavin merely gave a smirk in return. "Not really. If you were truly inclined to do so, you wouldn't have been so honest with me."
As she pushed off of the bench and spoke of other business, he gave her a bow. "Until next time, Mage Eris." As she left, he took a few moments to look around before departing for his room once more.

A week had gone by since his arrival and not once had Gavin been able to find Mariah. From time to time, he swore he felt a hint of her presence, but never could he lock onto it before it faded as quickly as it came. He had continued exploring the temple, seeking every nook and cranny, simply in search of her. Still, he search bared no fruit. He had even discovered where her chambers lay and gone to visit many times, but for every knock he gave came no response. Either she was always gone or refusing to answer due to feeling him there. Was she truly that upset with him after their last encounter? Did she come to hate him? No matter the thought, it saddened him to think about.
But his searching never ended. In fact, it only made him push harder in finding her, if only to learn the truth of her feelings. Now, however, he wore his hooded cloak. Influenced by Sith Alchemy long ago, it hid his presence complete, rendering him undetected to those around him. Perhaps this way, he could catch up to Mariah without her knowing. Decitful, but necessary.
Entering the training area, he expected it to be one of the locations she'd spend her time due to her love for combat. Yet, none were currently present when he arrived. That was good. It meant he could work in peace. Closing his eyes, he knelt down and placed a hand upon the ground. It wasn't a personal item, but he had no doubt she had been here enough that her presence left an impression into the area. Hopefully, it would be enough to aid him. Reaching out, he began utilizing Psychometry. While more common through his Kiffar heritage, it wasn't a skill he was great at. In fact, it was incredibly weak, especially compared to his daughter, Tierany, who was a natural with the ability. If she was here, finding Mariah would have been easy. But alas, all he had was his pathetic skills.
Minutes passed by as he worked, unloading a great flow of the Force than normal just to get a read. It took time, vut he was eventually able to pick up remnants of her presence over others. Sure enough, she had been here and left her mark. However, all he could see was extremely blurry images scattered throughout the area. The only thing that let him know it was here was the faint flashes of crimson. That hair, something that had long burned itself into his mind along side her eyes.
Suddenly, the images faded from view as he collapsed, falling onto both hands. Trying to force such a weak skill was far more taxing than he liked, especially compared to his ease in using more advanced and energy consuming techniques. His breath was heavy as he worked to compose himself. Nevertheless, despite her presence lingering here, he couldn't use what knowledge he had gained to find her from this place.
Standing to his feet, he departed the training area. It was time to explore the next location on his list: the library.

It had come down to the same list he gave her that first fateful day they met. Where to visit in her short time within the Sith Academy on Iridonia. The training area, then the library. He had little doubt she'd be here. As he undoubtedly figured she was still learning the arts of Sith Magic, some of her time would be dedicated here, if only to gather books to retreat to her chambers with. The thought made Gavin smirk as he entered, guessing she was still a bit on the anti-social side.
Going down the rows of books, Gavin made his way towards the tomes that carried the knowledge of Sith Magic and started there. Turning his eyes away, he lifted a hand to the books and began to feel them out. As with the training area, he was certain she left her mark on a few of these by now. He just had to feel it out, then he could begin. It took just as much time to track it down among the years of use of those who turned their pages. Minutes past by before he finally detected a trace of her presence. Turning to the book, he grabbed it and headed over to a table. Better to be sitting in trying the technique once more. Placing his hands over the book, he worked to further draw out her presence so that he could use it to somehow find her.
His body began to shake slightly as the power coursed through him, trying to read and interpret what it felt. In his eyes, he could once again see the blurry images of someone, Mariah for certain due to the crimson locks. He pushed harder, hoping to clear the image. While it worked a little bit, it did nothing to help him. All he could see, was her moving about, the background to out of focus to determine. Was it a cavern? Maybe just a dark room? Who could tell? Certainly not him.
Opening his eyes, he leaned forward on the table as he breathed heavily from the strain. His head was starting to hurt a bit from the failed attempts at Psychometry. He had to accept that this wasn't an effective means of locating her. At least, not for him anyway. Giving off a sigh, he moved to replace the book before departing the library. He needed to clear his head. The Medative Canyon seemed to be a good spot, by what he could tell. Perhaps a little flute playing would be just the thing to get his mind straight and in the zone.
