Paramount atop one of the highest peaks within the Tiernvael Mountains, the Temple of the Dark Jedi Order is a ziggurat structure, whispering of its past as an old Jedi Praxeum. Split into four main levels, the temple has been restructured, the once crumbling foundation supported by spiraling black columns throughout. The sigil of the Dark Jedi Order are exhibited throughout the temple, denoting its surrender to its new role.
The lowest level serves as a vast hangar, with the remnants of the Praxeum's cellars and catacombs underneath. From the cellars, underground tunnels connect to the Meditative Canyon. A set of blast doors provides access to the temple via ship and open up onto a landing pad within.
The second level offers accommodations for the Dark Jedi Order's militia forces, including barracks and ample storage for both personal belongings and weaponry. Encompassed by the dark pillars, a war room and briefing room dominate the central ward.
The third level has been converted to lodgings for the members and allies of the Dark Jedi Order. The medbay, recovery ward, and bacta tanks also dwell here, tucked near a singular entrance for emergency routes to and from the medbay.
The top level hosts the temple's throne room, where black marble floors stretch in all directions, and the myriad of grand spiraling columns rise to meet the ceiling. Large windows dominate the north wall and permit the outside ambiance to relentlessly pour through. Staircases flanking the grand throne platform lead up to the roof, where a vista of the Meditation Canyon is found on the horizon.

His hoof falls echoed through the halls as he pushed open the doors to the throne room and made his way to the chair that dominated the room. It had taken laborers several months to construct this Temple of the Dark Jedi. Making it a home worthy of the new Order. In pursuit of such, Ifrit had commanded the Temple be built atop the ruins of the old Jedi Enclave that had founded by Jedi Master Thon several generations ago. Marking the Dark Jedi as the rightful Order.
He ascended the platform that rose only a half foot from the rest of the floor. His gaze passing over the throne and outward to encompass the entire room. He turned around then, as if surveying an invisible gathering of followers. This is where the Dark Jedi would truly begin as an Order. From this fortress, they would strike at the threats that plagued the galaxy, in hopes of bring peace and order This... is where it will all begin... Come forth General Shoird...

Banríon strode forth into the throne room. Where her Master went, she was not far behind. Ever loyal, obeying his commands. Commanding his army and sending them to certain death. But she had stayed strong and kept the hive in check. Breeding new members to replace those that fell in combat, and formulating new species to combat changing battle conditions. She could still remember the day that Ifrit had found her, and in time, raised her to the title she held.
Before him, she had been nothing more than a sniper for hire. But now, she commanded an army of soldiers, bound to her will, and her will alone. She took a knee as she arrived to the raised platform. Bowing her head out of respect for her Lord Bladeweaver Yes Master? What is it that you wish of me?

Following the coordinates provided from orbit, Gavin directed his ship towards the Tiernvael Mountains. He had done a little research since Mariah made mention of it and learned it once was the home of a Jedi temple. He could only guess that the new temple was built upon the old foundation. Before long, he could make out the ziggurat that the coordinates led him to. Following the proper flight path, Gavin lowered the ship and lined himself up with the hangar bay. As he approached, the blast doors began to open, beckoning him inward. With another breath, he pushed forward, each second bringing him closer to this meeting.
Once inside, he navigated the ship to a vacant landing zone and set the ship down. One by one, he flipped switches as he began powering down the engines and others systems. He expected that his stay would last for a little while and the need for anything to be active was unnecessary. Standing, he made his way to his chambers. There, he slipped on his trench coat and began placing weapons on his person: five single hilt lightsabers, a saberstaff, ten throwing knives, and a large sword swung over his back. He knew it might have seemed hostile, but in joining this order, he wanted them to know who he was and where his skills lay.
Once all was set, he departed the ship and waited for an escort at the foot of his boarding ramp.

Bowing her head out of respect for her Lord BladeweaverYes Master? What is it that you wish of me? Ifrit focused his all seeing gaze upon Banríon as she strode into the throne room. Little remain unchanged about the woman he had found all those years ago. Each change had been orchestrated by his own hands. Turning her from a weak, fragile human being into something far greater. He had strengthened that which was weak, and enhanced that which made her strong. She had given him her loyalty. In return, he had given her everything she had sought.
Power, position. And most importantly, purpose. She was no longer the aimless mercenary, but a conquering general that fought for his cause. Bringing to heel any that would oppose him. He punished those that opposed him, and rewarded those that supported him. He had done much of the former of late. But today, he was about to do the later. He reached down then, placing his hand upon her cheek. Guiding her to look up at himFor you to take your rightful place... You have loyally served me these past years. In return, I have given you what I promised and then some... But what I have given thus far, has paled in comparison to what you have given to me. An imbalance that I correct on this day... When I found you, you were Banríon Shoird - sniper for hire. It was a name I left you with, for that was who you were... But you are no longer Banríon... You are something else... someone else... I have trained you as my apprentice. And now, I bestow upon you the rank of Twilight Mage! And with it... a new name... Arise, Lady Eris!He pulled his hand away from her face, allowing her to rise up without aide. His gaze still upon her, as he kept his presence around her within the Force

She almost jumped away as he reached down and placed his hand upon her cheek. Relaxing into it a few moments later and lifting her head to meet the gaze she knew was merely a facade. A trick intended to fool those that knew no better. But even still, in that moment she let herself be fooled as he spoke to her. Praising her for her service and all that he had done for her. Had she the mind to, she would have interrupted him then and there. Expressing her gratitude for all that he had given her. But yet.
But yet, he felt he still owed her more. Another point she felt was inaccurate. But she could not bring herself to stop him. He had started upon a path that he intended to see through regardless of her protestations. She she remained knelt, gazing up at him as he continued on. And then the moment came as he proclaimed her ascension from his apprentice, to that of Twilight Mage. A title which she knew was to be held by Masters of Sorcery and Alchemy within the Dark Jedi Order. And then, finally, he gave her a new name. Lady Eris, The Twilight Mage.
She stayed still a moment longer as he pulled his hand away, before feeling his presence within the Force comforting her. A feeling of pride and confidence washing over her and out across the hive of creatures that were all linked to her consciousness. She rose to her full height then, her wings branching out with a new found sense of freedomYou honour me greatly my Lord... I will do my best to continue to serve you and the Dark Jedi Order, as I have always done...She trailed off then, turning toward the entrance to the throne room... A pair of large, armoured sithspawn slithered their way into the hangar bay as the YT-1980 flew in and settled down within a landing area out of the way of usual traffic. They hissed and bit at the air toward one another, feeling their Queens focus upon them. Their attention was quickly upon the landing ramp as a man wearing a cloak and an almost ridiculously oversized sword appeared. They stopped in their places, hissing and growling. The left creature let out something akin to a screech, before motioning with one of its claws for the man to follow. The two guards turned around then, leading the unknown guest through the temple and up to the Throne Room... She breathed out then, as she came back to herself. Her wings retracting close to her body, preparing herself for the newcomer that was on his way up. She turned her head to the side, sending a side-long glance back at Lord BladeweaverIt would appear we have a guest...

Gavin took the time to look about as he waited. There seemed to be little in the way of other ships or even personnel. Truly they were in the early stages of the order's formation. Still, he doubted this new temple was vacant all nearly all life. All the forces and personnel he had from the Blackguard and on Sullust would have been present somewhere within the building. Not only that, it couldn't be ruled out he already had a few join the order prior to taking Ambria much like Mariah.
His attention was then redirected towards the entrance of the hangar bay where a pair of Sithspawn approached him. He didn't move to greet them, nor did he make an attempt to defend himself despite such creatures being something new to him. He only watched as the slithered up to him and began making noise that he could only guess was directed at him. Then came the screech and the motion to follow. Giving only a smirk, he let his hands slip into the pockets of his coat as he followed in line behind them. It had to say, it was definitely a first to be escorted through a temple by such creatures as this.
As they moved through the halls, Gavin took every opportunity to glanced about, taking in the sights around him. He wanted to know all he could about this place even before the meeting happened. There was no derailing his desires to join with the Dark Jedi Order, only the possible denial of those already within. As such, he wanted to feel as at home as possible in this place. He said nothing to his escorts as they walked, only looked about as they approached the throne room.

Ifrit had sensed his apprentices motives as he began his speech, but was grateful when she chose not to act on such impulses. She had risen within his shadow and remained there for some time now. Thus, she had bound her fate to his own. Something which he did not want for her if she was to ever succeed him and forge her own destiny. Something which was far more important now than ever before with the Dark Jedi Order taking its first proper steps forward.
Should he fall in battle, there needed to be a successor. Mariah would remain the Fallen Empress until she were too fall as well. But regardless of who held one of the two highest ranks within the command structure, their succession had to be guaranteed. Eris had now joined that line. And with time, she would feel more comfortable with taking her own command. Something that he needed to guide her toward sooner rather than later.
His feelings of pride and excitement as Eris rose were quickly pushed aside as she turned toward the doorway. Informing him a few moments later of a new arrival. His focus turning upon the entrance to the throne room as he sensed the impending arrival of the newcomer to the Temple. He shifted his stance to steady himself. Although this place was well hidden, he was not willing to bet everything on the unlikely happenstance that a foe had managed to infiltrate their new hideout. He waited until he was certain he would be heard, before calling out Come forward, stranger! Who is it that intrudes upon my domain?!

As Gavin was led into the throne room by the two Sithspawn, it would be easy to see the observant gaze he held, if not by the look in his eyes from the distance, but from the way his head moved about. It didn't take but a second before his attention directed itself to the throne itself where he saw two beings. Neither was a race he recognized off the top of his head though he had some speculate Ifirt to be a Sephi, however, unless stated as such, it was difficult to tell.
Even as Ifrit spoke out, Gavin continued to walk forward in a calm manner, hands still in his pockets. He remained quiet for the moment, moving up to the throne until he was a few steps away from Eris. He was a new arrival, and based upon the words just spoken, a stranger whose intentions were not known. Because of that, he did wish to uphold some form of caution and respect for the man, so came his stop before even basing the woman before him. But that was where his caution faded. With his Force Sight, Ifrit could easily tell the large collection of weapons upon his person outside of the large sword on his back. Along with that was his strong and powerful presence. Normally, he kept his presence mitigated under the use of Force Stealth so as to be viewed as unremarkable. But as with his weapons, he wanted ifrit and the order to know him. The only thing that remained was the neutral feeling within his presence, aligned to no side, but simply there.
Taking a small breath, he gave a smile before removing his hands and offering a small bow to Ifrit. "You must be Lord Ifrit Bladeweaver, Master Spellbinder of the Blackguard Reborn and the head of this new Dark Jedi Order. I've heard tales of your great power and skills. A shame that we have never crossed paths up until now. I am Gavin Phoenix, an instructor at the Sith Academy on Iridonia and I have come seeking to join the ranks of this order."

As Gavin entered the room, Ifrit had certainly focused his gaze upon the man. Anything the man hid from most, was laid bare before him. The weapons sheathed within and without his cloak. A veritable armoury for one to call upon at a moments notice. Then there was the man himself. Scars of bygone battles telling stories of the fights that had been fought, of the wars that had been waged. But most curiously of all, the scales that ran across the mans back which denoted an interesting heritage.
He crossed his arms as Gavin came to a stop just before the raised platform and gave a small bow. At which point, he formally introduced himself as Gavin Phoenix. A name he had heard uttered many times before on various occasions. For the most part, it was passing mentions in reports or conversations regarding Iridonia. But he did recall mention of the man from at least one of those he had trained. Luxeria or perhaps Vasari. Though he vaguely remembered some mention by Mariah. He gave a shallow nod in response Gavin Phoenix... I can finally put a face to the name... While I cannot say I've heard many tales about you, I have certainly heard of you... Also, you can drop that long winded list of titles. I am The Fallen, a title simple enough for my enemies to fear... He took a couple steps forward then, stepping down from the raised platform to stop a couple feet away from Gavin. Closing the distance between them. Even without the added height of the platform, he still stood taller than the man. But then, Ifrit stood taller than just about everyone So tell me, Gavin Phoenix, why should I admit you to this order? You are, after all, an instructor at the Sith Academy...

While remaining composed, Gavin couldn't help but smirk internally. He had initially doubted Ifrit had heard of him before. The majority of the masters and teachers at the academy thought little of him since his arrival. A couple had even sought to take advantage of an incident between a few of his students and theirs as a means to remove him from the academy and the Blackguard a few months prior. While the stakes were put in place by his own hand, he knew that was what they secretly wanted. But his students succeeded in the established duel, effectively shutting them up for the time being. However, he wasn't fool enough to believe that one occasion was enough to sway everyone if anyone. They merely kept more to themselves now.
Yet, here he was, being spoken to as if Ifrit had heard of him before. It made him curious as to where such information came from and what was said of him. Off the top of his head, the most he could guess was Mariah. But he wasn't sure if she'd have said anything to Ifrit, even after the two encounters they had back at the academy. Most times he figured the woman would cast him from her mind the moment she departed Iridonia.
But that was neither here nor there. Neither did it matter if there were no tales to go along with Ifrit's knowledge of him. It was a step in the right direction. He then nodded as he was told to drop the other titles in exchange for the one. "The Fallen? Indeed, it is a title to, at the very least, make others think twice before facing you down or challenging your power." Then came the million credit question as the head of the Dark Jedi Order stepped closer to him and looked down upon him. Why should he be accepted when he was already apart of the Sith Academy? A question he was prepared for as he spoke calmly and without missing a beat. "I may be an instructor at the Sith Academy, but the last thing I am is a Sith. After years of wandering, I sensed a surge of darkness, though something was different about it, something I hadn't felt in a long time: dark unification. So I went to Iridonia to check it out. Considering the Blackguard was more than a Sith order, or so they feel themselves to be, I elected to stay and use my talents to teach and enhance the skills of the academy's students beyond what they would normally receive. However, it was always meant to be a temporary home. And waiting there has served me well as I have been waiting for the rise of a new Dark Jedi Order."
He gave a small laugh before dropping his head a moment, memories of the past flowing through his mind for a moment before his gaze returned to Ifrit. "A long time ago, I once called the Dark Jedi my brothers and sisters. I was part of an order that resided on Zonama Sekot in the temple of Asgard with a man known as C'thulu Plaga at its head. I would still be among them today had it not scattered to the winds the day he stepped down from his position. None felt they could lead the order as he did and keep its glory. The things I learned from that order are the driving force behind my training and that which I instill into my students and apprentices. Of all orders I've been a part of, Jedi, Grey, Sith, and more, it is with the Jen'Jidai that I found my home. And after all this time, that home has returned. The moment I knew of its existence a few months ago, seeking to join with you wasn't even a question."

Ifrit listened with interest as Gavin delivered his answer. The man speaking of the rising darkness that was slowly assembling across several different Orders, which ultimately culminated in the Blackguard Reborn. It seemed that Gavin shared a similar story to his own in some regards. After all, the One Sith had only ever been a temporary home while he laid low away from Honoghr. A self imposed exile which had only extended as situations changed. And now, they both stood here within a place they could both call home.
Ifrit could not honestly say he knew much of the old Dark Jedi Order. Merely rumors of their existence within the recent past. Their ideologies, at least from the few stories he had heard, were similar. And yet different at the same time. He studied the man for a moment. While he did not know much about Gavin personally, Mariah had not said anything about the man to make him distrust his intent. there was also the fact that they might benefit from having someone from the old Order join with the new. He would undoubtedly possess knowledge useful to the Order The old Dark Jedi Order you say? I have heard rumors of its existence, but you are the first I have met able to substantiate such claims... We are not all that different, you and I... We both sought refuge within the Blackguard, but were disappointed by the realities we found... You may find a home here amongst our Order. But do not expect us to be like that home you lost so long ago. What you find here may or may not be the same. If that, I can offer no guarantees.. But what you will not find here, are any Sith or their teachings... If you did indeed learn of this Order's existence from Mariah, then she must believe you a good fit here... And I trust her judgement. Any questions?

When he finished speaking, he let his eyes fix themselves upon Ifrit, hoping his words would be enough to convince the being before him to consider Gavin to become one of them. And for the moment, it seemed to work. Not only that, his involvement with the Dark Jedi of the past seemed to catch his interest. While he sought not to impose upon the vision Ifrit and Mariah had for this order, he was eager and willing to share all he knew and had gained from his time among them.
When the Fallen spoke of the order and his home, he nodded, fully aware of the truth. "Of course. It would be foolishness to believe that I could reclaim a home that has since faded with the sands of time. But I suspect that there are a few things within this order that serve as the basis for establishing a home similar to what I once had. It is already confirmed with your words of how we see things of ourselves and of those within the Sith, and, undoubtedly, the Jedi and other orders as well." He couldn't help but smirk and chuckle a bit at the mention of Mariah. "Yes, Mariah. I suspect that when she discovers that I have indeed come, she may have words for me for being so casual and seemingly uninterested during our last meeting."
Turning the subject away from Mariah, he thought on the question that did circulate within his mind. It was but a single question, but he felt it to be the most important one. "What is the foundation of this new Dark Jedi order that you have created? And as such, the same goes for you, my Lord. If you have any questions about me or about the knowledge I hold from my time with the last Dark Jedi order, you have but to ask.""

The lone Preybird starfighter entered the upper wisps of Ambria's atmosphere. Descending through the cloud cover, the Kaleesh piloted craft came into view of the Tiernvael Mountains, and the Temple that was to be his new place of refuge. The armored Kaleesh continued to pilot the craft down towards the hangar bay of the temple, allowing the Force to guide his movements as he went. Upon landing in the hangar, the Kaleesh hit the release on the protective canopy and clambered out of the craft. Heavy boots thudded dully on the floor of the hangar. Turning away from the craft, the armored Kaleesh scanned the hangar bay, taking it all in. Inhaling deeply, the warrior exhaled, a raspy, metallic sound exuded from his helm. This was definitely the place...

Ifrit bowed his head in a slow nod as Gavin agreed that his old home was lost to time. He was certain that they did agree on many views regarding other Orders. Though he suspected they may also have differing opinions on them as well. But now was not the time to debate or discuss such matters at length. Such things could wait until later on. Instead, his thoughts turned to Mariah, as Gavin mentioned she would may have words for him. Despite how much he knew of his Fallen Empress, there was still much and more to learn about herPerhaps... She is certainly full of surprises...His tone became more serious as Gavin asked what the foundation of this new Order wasA place to learn and study the dark side, without giving oneself to the dogma of the Sith religion... We have four principle tenants: Command, Emotions, Strength, and Conquest. You command control of your emotions. Through control of your emotions, you draw your strength. From your strength, you conquer your enemies. And with your conquest, you unleash the true fury of the Force... A simple enough concept to understand, wouldn't you agree? But more importantly than that, relates to the role that you shall play here... The Sith and Jedi train padawans and apprentices... We do not train Dark Jedi... There is no mold from which we are cast... To be a Dark Jedi, means to forge your own path... To think for yourself, while others rely on divine personifications of the Force...

As Ifrit spoke, Gavin's expression became the mirror opposite of the Fallen. With each word a smirk grew upon his face as he closed his eyes, making it seem as if the foundation of the new order was music to his ears. It was a moment or two more after Ifrit finished before Gavin opened his eyes once more to look up at the man. "Very few creeds could ever be as true as that. Simple, yes, but full of depth that one should come to embrace." He couldn't help but give a chuckle thinking on the words. "The old order had a code that carries similar understanding. Doubt is absolved by knowledge. Knowledge leads to passion. Passion leads to pursuit. Through our pursuit, we gain vision. Through our vision we find balance. Balance brings us control. Control grants us power. We are born by the light and baptized in darkness. We tread a shadowy path between day and night. We are Dark Jedi. This is our creed. It has its own take, but one thing resonates in their similarity: self. Unlike the codes of other orders that speak on the philosophy of the order and their take on the Force, the code of the old, the tenants of the new and the creed that comes from it speaks of only the person and their progression to become more than what they were the day before. One of the primary things learned from that old order, and that I carry with me in my training over all else is mastery of self. Emotions, pain, sickness, and past. There were even rooms designed to manipulate particular emotions to better work at mastering them." He then nodded at the last statement of what it meant to be a Dark Jedi of this order, fully in agreement with it. "It has been a core belief of mine that I will only train a warrior. I grant them all the knowledge I can so that when their training comes to an end, they can choose for themselves what path they wish to take. Even those I'm currently training at the Sith academy fall into that practice. Sure, I told the Sith'ari that I would train a new breed of Sith, but only in the idea that it was a Sith academy and that they would be shaped as Sith by other masters. My purpose was to make them more capable warriors. They learn the history of the Sith and its code by my instruction only as a means to further their knowledge, not dictate their path. Six months ago, as they reached the end of their first year, I presented to them a few questions. Who are you? What do you wish to achieve with the power you seek? All in hopes that they will find themselves and the paths they wish to walk."

This was definitely the place... Mariah pored over holomaps of the cavernous labyrinth that ran throughout the Canyon nearby. It was a tedious, seemingly never-ending process, so when the communications relay came in that someone sought out the Dark Jedi and a clearance to land, she welcomed the idea of shutting off the terminal and seeing to this new arrival personally. This place was still all too new for such arrivals to come flocking here and requesting them by name, be them friend or foe. Nonetheless, Mariah headed out alone towards the hangar bay. The idea of guards or any of Lady Eris' thralls following her was still somewhat disconcerting to her. She had her own defensive measures that had served her well enough in the past. Stubbornly, she figured she could handle a sole arrival without the need of their assistance, should things go south.
With every step, she shrunk her presence more and more, until she felt as though she was just a small, weak member who may have found the order and sought refuge among their ranks. To keep her true role here hidden for the time being could play in her favor in more ways than usual. With a silvery standard saber hilt on her right hip and a golden shoto on her left, she was at least openly armed, although she was still vastly under-armed than usual.
Xel-Tun had a few moments to take in his surroundings in silence before he would find another nearing. Her footsteps fell nearly silent on the floor of the hangar bay, as a small, petite woman with bright crimson hair approached the Preybird starfighter and its pilot. "Xel-Tun Lessh of Kalee," she repeated from the transmission, her voice echoing off the walls. "You have found that which you seek." Her arms opened up to motion everything that surrounded them. Stopping shy of a few meters from the Kaleesh, Mariah brought her arms together to cross over her chest and looked over the armored presence with a sharp, narrowed crimson stare. "Now the question is... why have you sought us out?"

Watching the crimson-manned woman approach from beneath his helm, the Kaleesh merely waited to be addressed. Petite, ghostly and subtly exuding a sort of learned confidence, the woman called out his name. Upon mention of it, he inclined his head slightly. Motioning to their surroundings, the woman exclaimed that he had found what he sought. While not wrong, but not entirely correct either, the Kaleesh smirked beneath his helm, contemplating how to answer the question posed in a way the woman would understand. Raspy, metallic laced words were exuded from his helm as he spoke.
"I have yet to truly find what I seek. Though I feel as though I am where I need to be for the time being. The Gods' granted me a vision. Of dark power growing within the Inner Rim. Not unlike what was granted to me upon the return of the Sith. I did not heed the call then, because I do not follow false leaders. I obey the Gods now because it is my calling..."
Cocking his head to one side, peering at the woman through the glowing red photoceptors of the helm, the Kaleesh contemplated how this situation would play out. Sure, he easily outweighed the woman, but an unknown enemy came with unknown talents and abilities. And he did not come here to provoke a fight. If this woman was even half as smart as she portrayed herself to be, then she wouldn't be so quick to dismiss his claims of being sent here by his Gods.

If this woman was even half as smart as she portrayed herself to be, then she wouldn't be so quick to dismiss his claims of being sent here by his Gods. Xel-Tun's answer came as a bit of an oddity to the crimson warrior, and the slightest tilt of her head revealed what could only be assumed as a form of interest. The Force was already shifting, and those attuned enough to it were already impacted and being led here. Or thus was her translation to the Kaleesh's words. However, there was a twitch at the edges of her lips, resembling an amused smile of some sort. The Gods. She couldn't help but sense as if there was something, almost like a disconnect, between his reasons and his words, his Gods' will and his actions to heed the call. At least his answer led to the assumption that he was sent here on peaceful terms. Until she was sure, however, Mariah stood her ground, keeping the two locked within the hangar bay."Then let me rephrase," she corrected coolly, slightly lifting her chin in a continued, fearless confidence. "You sought out the Dark Jedi, and the Dark Jedi, you have found. Although a word of advice..." That smile only seemed to grow on the woman's lips, taking on what inadvertently appeared as a sinister expression when contrasted against the intensity of her crimson eyes and piercing gaze. "You'll find your time here much easier when you cease being a mere follower of your Gods' will and Their will becomes your own." Unsure how the armored presence would take such 'advice', Mariah lowered her arms, her right falling her to her side, and her left upon her hip -- closer to where her saber hung. Mariah all too familiar with her renowned ability to turn allies into enemies within a first meeting, and offering unsolicited advice could easily turn the tides if Xel-Tun was the type to take quick offense to such things. Or, he could surprise her in catching the underlying hints that she understood more about his explanation than she let on, even subtly embracing the idea that his Gods had even sent him, despite her harsher overtones. Either turn of events would prove to be intriguing as she attempted to chip away at the armor to find the truth of the man beneath the helm."Just as you do not seek to follow false leaders, we do not seek to harbor mindlessly loyal followers," Mariah continued in low tones. "You ignored such calls to the Sith, and you come here on your own accord, something I'm certain will speak volumes. So long as you did not come here to create chaos within our ranks, I see no reason why your Gods' will would be contested."

This woman was intriguing, to say the least. She certainly understood more than she let on and didn't openly state her meanings. Though it was mildly insulting that she would assume he was not his own person, will and all. The Gods granted him clarity. They granted him guidance and often time showed him the clear path to walk. While he did, almost zealously, follow their will, he was still here of his own accord. Like the calling for the Sith that he had felt, he could have easily ignored this calling as well. But he didn't. Why? Because, like the famed General Grievous, he had a purpose. And while his purpose wasn't entirely clear as of yet, he was in the right place. Reaching up with armored gauntlets, the Kaleesh released the seals on his helm. With a hiss as the pressure was released, the Kaleesh lifted the helm off his head and lowered it down to his right side, tucking under his arm. Piercing yellow, reptilian eyes stared down at the woman. The tusk on either side of his jaw had been removed, long ago, by his enemies. And there was a scar running across his face, from left brow to his chin. Still pink, as it if was fresh, the Kaleesh chuckled. His deep, baritone voice echoing within the hangar.
"Do not claim to understand my intentions if you have never experienced the call of the Gods, human. I assure you, my will is that of my own. I do not blindly follow my Gods. It would be a foolish notion that would have resulted in my demise long ago...you follow this calling as well, no? Consider your own reasoning behind why you do so, and perhaps you will find that our...beliefs are one in the same..."
Brushing off the mild insult to his beliefs, the Kaleesh continued to keep his gaze affixed to the woman before him.
"I am certain you will find me to be far from mindless, and my loyalty unshakable. And...had I come here to create chaos and sow discord among your ranks, I wouldn't have come alone. The entirety of Kalee would have accompanied me, seeking the singular purpose of your destruction. Provided you are willing to accept that while I believe in the Dark Jedi and their tenants, I also follow my own religion. Providing neither comes into conflict with the other, our future cooperation will be amicable..."
Unblinking and unflinching, the Kaleesh continued to watch the smaller female. Ignorant, just like so many others. Perhaps, in time, she would understand. Or she wouldn't. He wasn't here to make someone believe in his religious ties, rather, he was here to strengthen the Dark Jedi cause and create opportunities to hunt Jedi.
