Sergent Willam Defay, GCF-1405 4th Platoon, FOX Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st IBCT, GALSAF Aft Crew Deck, unidentified hostile Venator-class Star Destroyer Sergent Willam Defay and his team were maneuvering through the abandoned hallways of the ship's aft crew decks when the call for aid came from 4th Squad's Able Team. This is fireteam Able Delta. We have encountered a large number of heavily armed pirates and have a man down, we need backup ASAP. We are pinned on deck twenty-three, hall K-12, just aft of weapons control. I repeat, we are outnumbered and have wounded, does anyone copy? Sergent Defay opened the comchannel and responded quickly. Able Team, this is Gee-Cee-Eff-One-Four-One-Eight, we have your position on our HUDs, we're on our way, only three decks down from you. Keep an eye out, we'll be coming up behind the targets, I repeat, behind the targets. So watch your fire. Defay looked back at the rest of his team, ensuring they had all gotten the message. Sprinting forward, Defay located the nearest turbolift that would take them to deck 23, where Sergent Rhett Locklear's squad was pinned down. Defay stopped at the lift and slapped the activation panel, then returned his attention to the comlink.Able Team, give me a status update on that casualty. What's his malfunction? Defay bit out as the lift doors opened and he stepped inside with the rest of his team. Willam felt the change in pressure against the bottoms of his booted feet as the lift began to move upward. Without warning the lift shook violently, though continued moving, even as Defay caught word of "Grenade!" over his comlink. They were already close, he considered, pulling his rifle against his shoulder. He had yet to receive a response regarding the casualty, which led him to believe the wound wasn't too severe. Either way, help was coming. Bachson, prep a flash. Defay muttered to one of his commandos. Sergent Bachson nodded and pulled a flash-bang grenade from one of his utility pouches, then armed it and held it ready. The lift slowed and soon stopped, and everything in the world fell silent and still. Bachson leaned against the forward wall of the lift as the doors dinged and then the grenade was out. The silence was defeated by a deafening explosion, and bright white light filled Defay's field of view. His visor went black to compensate for the change in light, then slowly began to return to normal even as he stepped forward and out of the lift, the barrel of his rifle swinging upward. Time had slowed to a crawl as Bachson and the rest of Defay's team stepped into the hallway, weapons up and moving forward.
Sergent Willam bore his rifle on a pair of pirates, two pulls of the trigger for each one. Even as his rounds cut into the bodies of his targets, Defay was shifting his aim to the right, slotting another pair of hostiles as Bachson poured rounds from his Verpine machine gun down the hallway. In the wake of the flash-bang's detonation, silence reigned supreme, and the seconds passed as hours. Defay could almost see the rounds leaving the barrel of his rifle, slotting one pirate after another. The silent rail systems of their Verpine weapons only affirmed the deep brooding silence, the only noise Defay could hear was the screaming of wounded pirates and the click of his own boots against the deck. Moments later, it was all over, and over a dozen fresh targets lay writhing on the ground. Most of them would die, and the rest would bleed out before they managed to secure themselves the medical attention they surely needed. Sergent Defay breathed deeply as time seemed to return to its normal pace, the barrel of his weapon slapping against his armored belly as he stepped casually forward and met with 4th Squad's Able Team leader, Sergent Rhett Locklear.Locklear, good to see you're still alive for me to save. Rhett laughed openly over the commlink, the shaking of his head the only visible sign of his reaction. I keep hoping you'll die on mission, just so I don't have to worry about the debt I've racked up with you, Defay. Willam smiled beneath the visor of his helmet, then looked around the hallway. The rest of Locklear's team looked to be doing just fine, though Defay caught sight of their casualty pulling himself out of a side room. The man was limping, but already had a bacta patch secured around the wound. Willam looked back to Rhett and clapped the man on the shoulder. Kandosii, gar cuyi, ner'vod1. Defay chuckled, then pulled the magazine from his rifle and stowed it before securing himself a fresh one.1: "Ruthless, you are, my friend."

*Kaytra shifted her position in the LAAT/is cockpit and glanced to her right. There sat her SS-54 assault ship, the Hati. She let out a grin and leaned forward, tapping Asha on the helmet.*
"I say we take the Hati. She prepped and eager to go. Besides, she also has tail guns on her, now we can watch our butts and defend them to."
*Without waiting for and answer, she hopped out of the LAAT/i and ran over to her ship. Jogging up the loading ramp, she entered the cockpit and dropped down into the pilots seat.*
"It's good to be home." *She muttered before beginning to power up the gunship.*

Heavily modified Arquitens-class light cruiser, Firestorm - Bridge:: Watch yourself out there, leftenants. :: Leftenant Halcom coms out, :: We're clearing out. :: Once the Hati is clear of the Firestorm, the cruiser clears out of the sky, pulling to the hull all the captured starfighters. Inside the cruiser, the maintenance droids hasten to repair the damaged LAAT/i gunship. Prepping it for the next time it goes out.

Leftenant Asha Bonafeld, L-44-F Zeta Group, 4th Battalion, 1st Airborne Commando Support Brigade, GALSAF Main Hangar Deck of the Firestorm Asha slapped her restraint release and grabbed her helmet, clipping it to her belt. She quickly initiated the gunship's shut down procedures and pulled herself out of the cockpit as @kaytra jumped down from the vessel and made her way across the hangar to the SS-54 assault ship she had named the Hati. Asha followed the other woman, flagging down a member of the Firestorm's repair crew and pointing them towards her damaged LAAT/i gunship. Following Kaytra, Asha arrived at the assault ship and entered the cockpit behind the other pilot. She tore her helmet from her belt clip and set it down on the side console, keying start up procedures for the weapon, communication and sensor systems as Kaytra powered up the reactor. Asha listened as Kaytra mumbled to herself, a smile creeping onto her own face. A pilot was always most at home in the cockpit of her own ship after all. Asha was leaving her baby behind, but she trusted the Firestorm's crew to bring the gunship back into working condition. A small break from the Larty wouldn't kill her. Asha queued the weapon's targeting systems as Kaytra lifted the vessel from the deck, ready to jump back into the fight. The Firestorm's arrival had signaled the end for a large chunk of the pirate's fighter forces, and the presence of the local law enforcement support had all but secured their victory. Asha only hoped that the fight for control over the pirate star destroyer was going well.Alright, Kaytra, I've got all my systems online and ready. I'm opening a channel to the Cloud City forces now. Asha pressed a short series of controls on the communications panel, loading up the frequency information she had been given by Leftenant Hadrix. Cloud City forces, this is the Hati, vehicle model Ess-Ess-Five-Four, on approach from the GALSAF vessel, Firestorm. We will be in the area shortly to continue in support of your operations against the pirate air forces. Please acknowledge. Asha pulled her restraints over her shoulders and around her waist, buckling herself in while she waited for a response.

*The Hati tore out of the Firestorms hangar and back into the fray. The ships twin custom GN-40 blaster cannons scanned the area for hostiles as the roared back towards the enemy Star Destroyer. Kaytra felt more at ease in her own ship, she knew how it ran, every quark and perfection. As the closed in on the Destroyer, her eyes caught sight of another gunship. Kaytra recognized it as an older model, a Mechanized Assault Flyer, an old clone war era Separatist gunship.*
::Where'd they did up that old fossil?::
*Kaytra turned her ship in the direction of the enemy gunship. Judging by its flight path it seemed to heading for the bridge, and in a hurry to.*
::So what do you think their up to?::

Infiltration Team, Lower Levels of Tibannopolis, Pirate BarracksHe'gai and Sylas quickly rejoined the rest of Second Squad and the Jensaarai as the holo-droid, Johnny, went to confront the last pirate. Upon returning, Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh proposed that they get dressed up as pirates.
Sergent Huff He'gai nodded an affirmative at the Saarai-kaar's suggestion and gestured for his squad to get changed. One of the Commandos, Lance Corporal Dreemer, clapped Sylas on the back on the way to the barracks. "You're alright, Sylas." Before going ahead of him. Second Squad's commandos didn't have to alter their outfits much since they were already dressed in similar garb as the pirates, in preparation for the mission. All their faces remained covered for the most part.
Finishing up, Sergent He'gai relayed his words over the com to Garwig. He'gai here. 2nd Squad's ready to move out. =Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh= Seeing the nod from Sergent He'gai and the squad go into the barracks to get changed, Garwig looked over to his Jensaarai friends and Finnick who had been sent by Xeonon Solomon of the Imperial Knights, then spoke to them."Come on. Let's go get changed to. Search throughout the rooms for any clothes that can fit you. Johnny, stay in the hallways in holo-pirate camouflage and be on the watch for anybody!" Garwig said as he and Enbilulu, as well as Finnick would go to one of the male quarters to begin searching for clothing. Meanwhile, Aiko, Pearl, and Kasha went into a female quarters and got changed too. As Johnny patrolled the hallway, it wouldn't take too long for the whole team to finish up getting themselves geared up for the next part of the mission.
After a short while of getting changed, all of the Jensaarai on the infiltration team met up with He'gai's team. All of the Jensaarai now wore apparel that were stolen from within the barracks the pirates were using. Garwig's pirate outfit looked decent enough, though Enbilulu's looked a bit too small for him around the arms. Pearl and Kasha looked alright in their outfits, while Aiko's uniform looked a little ragged but okay. All of their outfits had pieces of clothing on them that could cover the face to hide their appearances. As soon as it looked like everyone was ready, Garwig spoke to Hegai.:: We're ready too. We'll meet you in the hallways with Johnny. ::All of the Jensaarai then met up with the 2nd squad and the Saarai-kaar spoke to everyone."Let's head on over to the lobby and go out into the hallway that leads to the Core of the city. If the makeup of this city is similar to Cloud City, we should be able to find turbolifts there we can take to the upper levels the ships are at for us to hijack. Is that understood?" He asked. If everyone understood, they'd begin their long trek into the core to find their way to the turbolift's to go topside.

Second Squad, Infiltration Team The commandos of second squad were all lined up, prepping their individual weapons as Sergent Huff He'gai stopped in front of each one to assess the integrity of their disguises. Satisfied at the inspection he turned to address the Saarai-kaar Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh. "Copy that, Garwig. My boys are prepped and ready." He'gai held his carbine at the ready, shifting the safety to full auto with his thumb.

Finnick indeed went off to the male dorms, but before going he had looked behind him towards the women. Can't stop a guy from thinking after all. Of course this was a mission so there would be no lamenting women. Today. As he entered and rifled through the clothes in disgust he finally found something he liked. A tanned Bantha hide leather jacket. On the back was the symbol for this pirate group dominating the back. Throwing this over his shoulders he kept the other clothes on, after all they are armour.
Walking out he joined the others as they prepared, he gave himself a once over to make sure his weapons were all in place. Nodding his red hair bounced a little but stayed in place. let's do this.

Kel ducked behind his cover as Defay's Platoon began mowing down the pirates from behind. He really didn't feel like hitting one of his own guys with cross fire, or even worse to be hit with it. After a few moments the firing stopped and Kel peeked around the bulkhead. He saw nothing but commandos and dead pirates, so he pulled his injured comrade to his feet and helped him hobble out into the hall. After resting the man against the wall he clasped hands with one of his rescuers and pulled him into a hearty bro-hug.
When we get out I've got drinks. Unless I manage to pull ya'lls schebs out of the fire first, then we're even. I don't want to waste my money on you boys if I don't have to.
Kel and a few soldiers laughed, trading the usual smack talk that came with a situation like this.

{ Bridge, Venator-class Star Destroyer – Pirate’s Flagship (but not for much longer!) }The clash of metal against metal echoes throughout the bridge, as the two combatants tirelessly mount blow after blow at each other. Arget Kolhar, though armed with a sword significantly shorter than Tanicus’, has a near equal amount of weight and thickness to match the Alata’s greater length and reach. Arget smashes down his blade and Tanicus is barely in time to bring up his greatsword into a defensive hold, and his back is pressed against some of the consoles. “Ye know what ye did to my grandfather?” Arget asks while straining with his sword against the tall man.
Tanicus frowns, then shifts his positioning and weight abruptly, dropping his greatsword’s blade against Arget’s sword and backhands the pirate at the same time, “I gave him a chance at life, to make a better person of himself, and he did.”“Nay, ye made ‘im weak, and pathetic!” Arget spits, “He was nary a man no more come his end. Died without putting up a fight.”Tanicus moves away from the pirate, spreading his hands out, “Then you know not your own grandfather for what he was.” He points at Arget with his sword, “He gave his life so that your father might live, and which in turn, is how you were able to be conceived.”“Aye, and in a twist of fate, I’m about to deprive ye of yer own life.”Arget lunges and thrusts his sword forward. While Tanicus deflects the attack, the pirate continues forward in his momentum and delivers a solid kick to his midsection, knocking the wind out of him. He turns around then, and glances about at the commandos surrounding him, “Looks like me fate be sealed one way or another. At the least, I’ll have ye gizzard nailed t’the mast, ye poxy cur!”The massive cutlass sails down and stabs right into the duracrete plated floor, missing Tanicus, who leaps from his seated position, and then kicks at Arget’s wrist while spinning himself back into a standing position. Adjusting the grip on Gath Andúr, he allows Arget to reclaim his weapon before leaping forward into another attack. Once more going back and forth, both sides managing to inflict wounds on the other, gleaming blood seeping out from deadly cuts, and sheer red tainted Arget’s clothing.“Even yer blood be strange,” Arget says while pressing an attack on Tanicus, “I know ye be no human, despite yer looks. No man lives as long as ye without it showing.”In a surprising trick of two blades – one smaller dagger suddenly being flourished while in the middle of the fight – Arget sticks the dagger right through Tanicus’ left palm whilst the cutlass deflects his greatsword, and with a nasty kick to the chin, the Alata is down. Swiftly, Arget raises his sword with both hands, ready to slam down and end Tanicus forever. “Ye’ll pardon me if my decision seems inhuman, but being that ye be no human yerself...”Venator-class Star Destroyer, Pirate Flagship – Corridors to the BridgeCamarann rises from her kneeling position. Her helmet missing, and multiple holes in her armour indicates the amount of damage she sustained from her close-quarter combat with the elite pirates. Most were lying around dead or dying, or else were too severely crippled, maimed or incapacitated to do much of anything except lie down and slowly bleed out. She can hear the fighting in the bridge more clearly now, and her scanners (the Force) tells her that many of her fellow commandos are already inside the bridge, yet, the sense of danger for Tanicus still remains. Camarann considers her premonition to be a highly advanced calculation of odds and results through a probability matrix. Acting on this factor, the wounded girl retrieves her shotgun and makes her way to the bridge at a deliberate pace.
She sees her fellow commandos surrounding the embattled duo, watching. Just moments before Tanicus is surprised by a dagger to his left hand, and when he is knocked down, Arget speaks about how he has no qualms about killing Tanicus because Tanicus is not human. Faster than anyone else can react, Camarann marches up behind Arget with alarming speed, she raises her shotgun, aims squarely at the back of his chest, moments before the pirate impales Tanicus, and pulls the trigger. In an explosive outburst, blood and guts is rained down on Tanicus, the shotgun at point-blank range delivering a devastating result.Gaping down at the hole in his chest, Arget has enough strength to look behind at the face of his young killer. The girl’s face lacks any emotion or response other than to stare blankly at him, her gun still pointed at him. He turns back and looks down at the equally stunned Tanicus. Shaking his head, Arget can only say, “...pirate...” and he collapses, to his knees, grins at Tanicus, and drops to the floor, eyes still open, but glazed.
Still sitting, Tanicus glances up at Camarann, who is now looking at him, and he gestures to Arget’s corpse, “Camarann, that was...”“...necessary.” the girl interrupts, “He was going to kill you, which would not be good.”“We could have incapacitated him.” Tanicus tries to explain, “He didn’t need to die. He wasn’t completely bad.”Camarann tilts her head to one side and regards Tanicus with an unreadable expression, “Perhaps. But we are pressed for time, and we need to establish control over the Star Destroyer. Your method, to defeat him through honourable combat, is too slow. There are many hostiles still engaging with our forces and our Jensaarai allies. The pirates have made their choice in this life, and we should treat them according to their choice.”She turns about to march back out the way she came in, when she pauses to look back at Tanicus, her weapon still held ready, “They wouldn’t hesitate to treat us according to our choice either.” She glances over at Ali Hadrix with her infamous blank expression, and then leaves the bridge. She has to go back to her friend, Harmony.
* * * * *
When she reaches the corridor where she left Harmony, she finds her friend now lying next to a corpse, and both are bleeding out profusely. A quick scan over her friend assures Camarann about Harmony’s condition and the girl bends over her friend, “You can get up now.”“You certainly took your time.” Harmony slowly sits up and wipes away at the colourful blood that stains her attire. Camarann helps her to her feet, but the stoic girl looks over at Harmony with mild confusion.“I took three-point-five minutes less than the last time we did something similar to this.”Harmony chuckles lightly, and she is able to stand up straight now that Camarann is shielding her once again. She pats Camarann on the shoulder lightly, “Don’t worry about it.”“I won’t.” Camarann flatly replies, and the two cautiously head back to the bridge for further orders from Ali.* * * * * Tanicus pulls off his left gauntlet, and takes out some gauze to wrap around his palm. While he’s treating his wound, he looks over regretfully at Arget’s body. You were so set in your ways, and yet, your grandfather proved that a different choice could have been taken. He thinks, Why couldn’t you have been like your grandfather, or even your father?
He retrieves his sword, sheathes it, and clasps his right fist over his heart, uttering a quick prayer in Mando’a and in his native language, both in swift utterances, but with no less sincerity, followed by a religious gesture over the corpse. He then lifts his head, and nods at Ali Hadrix.
Based on what had been witnessed, it would seem that Tanicus is not as invincible as he may have appeared from his earlier battles with the other pirates. Plus there’s the whole part about him being a lot more religious than previously known or suspected, and he is evidently not human.

*Crystaall deactivated her blade and walked up to Tanicus; placing her left hand on his opposite shoulder.*
"Tanicus... release your feelings of mourning this man. He exists in a better place now, whatever that place may be."
*Crystaall dropped her hand and looked out the windows of the bridge.*
"It doesn't help if you mourn the loss of others when there are more to save."

Leftenant Asha Bonafeld, L-44-F Zeta Group, 4th Battalion, 1st Airborne Commando Support Brigade, GALSAF Tibannopolis Airspace, Bespin Lifezone Asha checked the same sector on her scanners as @kaytra pointed it out to her. The old MAF was indeed vectored towards the pirate ship's bridge, not even bothering to take evasive action against the stray rockets and lasers that struck its way. The ship's crew was on a mission, which led Asha to only one conclusion. Kaytra, Hadrix's team must have already reached the bridge, they must be going in support of their forces on board. That, or the pirates have figured their plan and are attempting to reinforce before our commandos reach the bridge. Asha grimaced at the realization, Leftenant Hadrix hadn't yet commed in to report their arrival on the bridge and she knew the woman wasn't the forgetful type. It appeared as if the pirate MAF would make it to the bridge just in time for the commando teams to reach there, which might spell doom for their little boarding operation. Asha pulled the MAF up on her targeting screen, locking on with as many of the Hati's weapons as she could orient in its direction. She fired several pairs of rockets and a slew of laser bolts from the secondary cannons, but all either missed or were sent awry by the MAF's countermeasures.Kaytra, I need us on that flyer's shebs1! Asha snapped, perhaps a little to angrily. The Leftenant was a solid pilot, and couldn't help the fact that she hadn't already dug the Hati's proverbial boot up the MAF's rear end, but Asha was frustrated with the situation all the same. Asha slapped the open comm channel active, then bit out a quick message to the commandos on board. All GALSAF forces on board Unidentified Pirate Star Destroyer, this is Larty-Four-Four-Fox, on approach to said vessel. You've got a pirate boarding ship headed the bridge, reinforcements are likely on board.Asha closed the channel once more, hoping her warning would get to the rest of the commandos in time for them to act on it.Sergent Willam Defay, GCF-1405 4th Platoon, FOX Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st IBCT, GALSAF Aft Crew Deck, unidentified hostile Venator-class Star Destroyer Sergent Defay grinned as he heard Kel Thelmat's jest. He clapped the man on the shoulder as they passed one another, then hefted his rifle and glanced around for the rest of the team. The casualty they had taken was limping slightly, but the bacta already seemed to be working on his wound. His leg seemed stable, and Defay held little doubt he would be able to see the mission through to the end. As the team of commandos prepared to return to the turbolifts and make their way to the bridge, Defay received an urgent message coming in over the open comms. All GALSAF forces on board Unidentified Pirate Star Destroyer, this is Larty-Four-Four-Fox, on approach to said vessel. You've got a pirate boarding ship headed the bridge, reinforcements are likely on board.Defay swore silently to himself, Hadrix's HUD beacons already placed her and her team on the command bridge of the vessel. He called for the rest of the group's attention, then began to trot off toward the lifts. You lot fall in with the rest of us, we're getting to that bridge. Able Team, with me, Baker take a second lift up to the bridge. Not smart tp pack ourselves in like fish. Defay snapped, pressing the lift activation panel and waiting for the doors to open. Able Team piled into the lift behind him, and Defay waited until Baker had done the same in their own before keying for the bridge. With a hiss the lift doors closed and floor shook gently beneath his booted feet.Check ammo, be ready. He ordered, unnecessarily so considering his commandos had already done so. The turbolift slowed to a halt after nearly half a minute though the doors did not open. Sergent Defay frowned and slapped the door release button, but the doors refused to open. Suddenly the light panels dimmed and shut off, replaced by red emergency lights.Lift's down, the pirates must of killed the power. We're going to have to scale the channel instead. Defay muttered over the comlink, looking up for the turbolift's maintenance hatch. He found it, and unlocked the small door's holding mechanism, then squatted down and helped several of the other commandos up and out of the lift. Once the entire team was assembled on the lift's roof, Defay secured his rappelling gear to the lift's support frame. One by one, the team of commandos began to pull themselves up along the turbolift chasm, still seven levels short of the bridge itself. The chasm was dark, though emergency lights were positioned every ten meters or so. In the deep red gloom, Sergent Defay and his team made the slow ascent to the bridge level, where he desperately hoped Leftenant Hadrix and her team were still alive...Leftenant Ali Hadrix, GCF-1124 4th Platoon, FOX Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st IBCT, GALSAF Command Bridge of Unidentified Pirate Venator-class Star Destroyer Ali lowered her rifle as the fighting ended with the resounding boom of a shattercannon. The pirates still alive were standing in shock as Captain Arget looked down at the gaping hole in his chest, blood dripping steadily down his front. The man fell to the floor, silent and unmoving. Ali looked on as Tanicus performed some sort of ritual over the corpse, her lip curling slightly. Ignoring the man as he dressed his own wound, Ali turned her focus to their captives, bringing her rifle to bear on their highest ranking officer. Grabbing him by the chest with her free hand, Ali forced the man up against the nearest bulkhead as the rest of her team took the pirates' weapons from them, piling them together in the center of the command bridge. Her vocoder rang as she spoke. I need the rest of you alive to help us pilot this thing, so you'll at least have until the end of the battle to live. If you do as I say, and without complaint, we'll let you go when this is all over. Ali grumbled, the barrel of her rifle wedge in between the officer's collar and jaw. After a moment of silence, during which the officer stared at her with wild, terrified eyes, Ali grunted, stepping back and yanking the man hard, throwing him to the ground. The muzzle of her rifle followed, and she squeezed off a pair of rounds into the pirate's chest, leaving him to die mere moments later. Ali reached for her helmet, pulling it off her head and chucking it to the deck at her feet. Her hair was matted with sweat, stray strands sticking to her cheeks and forehead, her face was flushed and her eyes narrowed angrily."Who's next in line, then!?" Ali shouted, looking around the command deck at the handful of pirates left alive. "Don't think we can't do this alone, I'm only offering you the chance to help so I have an excuse to spare your lives, instead of take them."Ali waited for another handful of moments, ready to plug the next pirate that fell within her gaze, when one man meekly raised a hand. "I'm the sub-lieutenant here, ma'am." He muttered, looking briefly at the body of his superior, which remained as still as Captain Arget himself. The commando nodded, then gestured to him with her rifle. "Get to the command chair, I want this ship's weapons turned on the rest of your fleet." Ali demanded, fire in her eyes. The pirate nodded weakly and took a seat at the chair within the center of the bridge."And put out a call to the rest of your forces, that we've all been killed and your ship is no longer in danger." Ali added, giving the sub-lieutenant a moment to comply. She looked back to Crystaall Sehefadu, for the moment too angry to enjoy the sight of the woman. Ali spat blood out of her mouth and bent over to retrieve her helmet, clipping it back onto her belt. The rest of the team secured the remaining pirates, a pair split off to haul the dead off into a corner, where they wouldn't be in the way. Ali took a stand behind the command chair, where the sub-lieutenant had concluded his messages. He still looked afraid, though accepting of the situation he was in. The rest of the pirate's took their former posts for the most part, though any critical personnel that had been killed had to be replaced with the living, whether or not they knew their former comrade's assigned jobs. Ali shrugged mentally; they would make due, only the weapons were truly needed for the rest of the operation.

As sergeant Defay was issuing orders Kel put a fresh magazine into his rifle and took stock of his grenades. One thermal detonator, two ECD's, two flashbangs. Everything checked out. Kel fell in behind Defay amid a small chorus of "copy'" and "understood". At the left he kelt on the far side of the doors to cover the hall, and as the last commando entered the lift Kel backed in through the door.
::Check ammo, be ready::
Even though he knew exactly how many rounds were in his weapon Kel glanced at his HUD readout and visually inspected his weapon to verify the count. It was a habit he'd developed during his training when he first joined GALSAF. He was constantly counting and recounting his ammunition and ordinance on missions and in training.
Kel felt the lift slow and he aimed his weapon at the door, the trigger halfway pulled to the point where it would fire. Then the lights dimmed and the hum of machinery petered out and the only sounds were the creaking of armor punctuated by the mashing of the lift buttons by the sergeant. When the order came to climb out of the top of the lift Kel was again the last one through, this time he was busy boosting up his fellow soldiers from beneath. climbing through a little hatch in full assault armor was a lot harder then it looked.
Once on top Kel left his rifle dangling from it sling and clamped his ascenders onto a secure-ish looking bundle of cables and began pulling himself up the seven decks to the bridge.

*Crystaall watched Ali question one of the pirates with pure ferocity. It made her interested in how violent she coukd trully be. Crystaall knew her own limits with violence, and she knew how badly her darker side could bring her down. It was only an assumption that Aki could be more violent than Crystaall had ever been... but this was just a thought. She watched the pirates scramble to different positions and begin to work on whatever controls they picked. It was possible this ship could immidiateky fail its flight inspection with the new crew. They just needed to give the rest of the fleet a goodbye present.*
"So jumping off the ship is now a good decision my Mando friends. We might lose some turbulence. Never know what these pirates are capable of."
*She made a clicking sound with her mouth, and watched her helmet begin to fold down and let her breath fresh air. She gasped a little and looked at Ali.*
"If the ship goes down, are you still ok with a full drop evac, aka I carry you while we fall a thousand feet and test if I'm capable of surviving the fall?"

Ali shook her head at Crystaall Sehefadu's suggestion to abandon the ship. "Someone needs to stay and make sure that this guy-" Ali tapped the sub-lieutenant on the shoulder with a gloved finger, "-Keeps doing his job. If we jump ship now, they'll just fire on us and our forces." Ali made no mention of the infiltration team Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh had already landed within the city. Were the pirates to know about it, they might alert their comrades, or worse fire on the city itself. Ali's anger had seemed to fade as she spoke, and so received Crystaall's next words with a lightened heart. She winked at the other woman, the corner of her red lips parted twitching into a slight smile."How 'bout this, Crys: You and I can stay on board with a couple from the team, and when the time comes to make the jump, I'd love to have you take me down with you." Ali looked around the command deck, then nodded her head towards the pirate weapons that had been piled beside the bodies. "Someone get those weapons secured out of sight, we only need two commandos to stay behind with us to keep this place secured."Two of her soldiers nodded, making their way to the weapons while two more hefted their rifles, offering themselves as volunteers. One of them was Sergent Bilyers, the other was Lance Corporal Gac Turral. Ali accepted them as volunteers as Bilyers looked over Sergent Theng Walf. You take the squad, I'll see you dirtside. He grunted then took a stand on the side of the deck to Ali's right. Corporal Turral took his own place on the left, keeping a watch over the pirates hard at work refocusing the vessel's weapons on their own forces."Walf, make sure you grab the two commandos we left on the weapons deck, I'll notify Sergent Defay and the rest of his squad." Walf nodded, the T-shaped visor on his helmet glinting, when made contact with Sergent Willam Defay, who was on his way up to the command deck. After a moment, Walf's vocoder sounded in Ali's direction. Leftenant, seems we have some trouble headed our way. Defay's on his way up the turbolift shaft, seems the lifts were powered down from somewhere else on the ship. They're scaling it now, only three floors down from us. But we've got a pirate gunship making its way to the bridge, that's from Leftenant Bonafeld.Ali grimaced, hefting her rifle and stepping around to the front of the command chair where the pirate sub-lieutenant was still relaying status messages to the rest of his fleet. "Looks like you boys better get a move on then, I'll keep Defay with me when he arrives."Walf nodded his receipt of the orders, then signaled for the rest of the squad to move out. As a group they returned to the rear of the command deck, disappearing down the corridor there. Ali glanced at Crystaall, muttering, "Looks like the day's not over yet."

*Crystaall only nodded and laughed at herself as she realized she was too eager to prove her strength in the Force. 'I need to be patient.. my time will come.' She thought this to herself and watched most of the team scatter out to intercept the new wave of pilots.*
"I don't think we made a good impretion with our new friends Ali."
*Crystaall said this in a light tone, expecting Ali to at least smile at the joke as she herself ignited the red blade once again. She watched most of the pirate crew work and noticed they were mostly scrambling to do things correctly, hoping death wasnt an option. Crystaall could care less about these pirate's lives, but she couldn't kill all of them. They needed at least one man to tell the tale.*

*Kaytra could almost feel Asha's excitement. Pressing harder on the throttle, she urged the gunship forward.*
"I'm getting there don't worry. There's no way that old boat can outrun us."
*The Hati's engines roared louder as they pushed the gunship through the life zone. The ship itself almost felt eager to bring down its next victim. This brought a small grin to Kaytra's face. It had been a while since she and the Hati had a could chase. Sadly it wasn't to be a long one, within seconds the Hati was almost in killing range.*
"We'll be closing in quick. Get ready to bring that thing down. Make sure it doesn't crash into the bridge though, that wouldn't be a good thing."

Leftenant Asha Bonafeld, L-44-F Zeta Group, 4th Battalion, 1st Airborne Commando Support Brigade, GALSAF Tibannopolis Airspace, Bespin Lifezone Asha almost squealed with glee as the enemy gunship finally fell into range. Her targeting reticles turned solid red from their normal white, and her console beeped furiously, alerting her to the lock. Squeezing the triggers on the weapon's control sticks, Asha watched as a flurry of laser bolts lanced towards their intended target. They struck the aft end of the gunship, and Asha could see the vessel visibly rock forward as the full strength of the salvo hit its shields. Glancing quickly at her sensory board where data of the enemy vessel was displayed, she kept track of how much damage her attack had done to their shields. They're at sixty percent! Asha reported, arming a pair of torpedoes even as her laser canon's targeting screen signaled she had achieved another lock. Quickly, Asha unleashed a second, salvo from the Hati's canons. Her second shot proved to be less accurate than the first, only half of the laser bolts struck the gunship's shields this time as Asha was more focused on securing a lock on the enemy vessel through her torpedo systems. Time, she knew, was running out, the gunship was on its final approach towards the Star Destroyer's bridge. Moments dragged on as Asha waited for the torpedo system to signal it was tracking their target, even as the enemy MAF swung suddenly to starboard, a mouth-like docking appendage mounted on the vessel's bow now coming into view. Her targeting computer screeched, alerting Asha that she had achieved a lock, and swiftly she launched a pair of torpedoes, hoping they reached their target in time.Leftenant Ali Hadrix, GCF-1124 4th Platoon, FOX Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st IBCT, GALSAF Command Bridge of Unidentified Pirate Venator-class Star Destroyer Ali smiled softly as Crystaall Sehefadu reignited the crimson blade of her Jedi weapon and began casually intimidating the pirate workforce Ali had operating the Star Destroyer. Crystaall certainly was not what Ali might expect of a Force User that walked on the "light side" of things. She was impressive, and constantly surprising Ali, which brought feelings of excitement to mind whenever she looked the woman's way. Ali adjusted the utility belt around her waist and maintained her position by the command chair, ensuring all her orders were met by the pirate sub-lieutenant. Just as she began feeling comfortable and settled, Ali was thrown sideways by some unseen force. She was thrown several meters across the deck floor, her hands grasping blindly for anything to hold on to as the command deck shook with a great crash. Smoke and debris clouded her vision for several silent moments as she struggled to take stock of the scene around her. Moments later she was on her feet, several of the pirate crew lay dead or unconscious, others pulling themselves up against their consoles. Ali looked to the aft end of the command deck, where a hole two meters wide had been made in the starboard wall. Armored pirates were scrambling through the smoke and debris in pairs, weapons drawn and angling in the direction of Ali and her commandos. Sergent Walf was on a knee, crouched beside a bulkhead, his weapon firing silently as he sent rounds down aft towards the newly arrived threat.Multiple hostiles to our six! Walf shouted over the comlink as the rest of Ali's team regained their bearings and began returning fire. Lifting her weapon and resting the elbow of her firing arm on her knee, Ali shot down two of the pirates before they could find cover near the back end of the command deck. Glancing briefly around, Ali watched as Sergent Dreemer took a pair of blaster bolts to the shoulder and was thrown backwards onto the floor. He picked himself up after a moment and continued firing on their enemies, which were pouring blaster bolts recklessly across the bridge. Gritting her teeth, Ali continued firing on whichever pirate she could catch in her sights, and sent up a report to Sergent Willam Defay over the comlink.Defay, you better get your shebs1 up here! We have hostiles on the bridge, between us and the lifts! Make it quick! Ali silently hoped Defay was close by, pirates continued to pour out of the hole in the hull faster than Ali and her team were able to kill them.Sergent Willam Defay, GCF-1405 4th Platoon, FOX Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st IBCT, GALSAF Command Deck Turbolift Shaft, unidentified hostile Venator-class Star Destroyer Defay grunted to himself as he pulled his armored body upwards the last few meters to the command deck's turbolift doors. He continued upward until he was hanging level with the floor itself, then waited for Sergent Allin Bachson to come even with him on opposite side of the lift doors. On three. One, two…thr-- Defay's heart jumped into his throat suddenly as he was thrown backward against the far wall of the lift shaft, his head rocking against the durasteel wall but happily protected by his helmet. Bachson wasn't so lucky as the lift channel he was attached to was torn from its mounts. Defay scrambled to catch the other commando, stretching his arm out desperately even as Bachson reached for his legs. Bachson missed, and began a quick descent down the lift shaft, his voice roaring over the comlink. Bloody pirates!!! Were the only words the commando was able to bite out as he fell down the turbolift shaft, his armored body clipping Kel Thelmat's shoulder on the way down. Lucky for Thelmat, Sergent Rhett Locklear was able to reach down and grab him by the arm before he was yanked from his climbing gear and thrown down the shaft as well. Defay held himself close against the wall of the shaft, his visor angled downward as he watched Sergent Bachson disappear from sight and sound.Bachson?…Bachson!?…BACHSON!? Defay screamed over the commlink, anger welling in his chest. He slammed an armored fist into the wall, bellowing into his helmet a series of obscenities too muddled to discern by anyone listening. Rage overtook Defay's heart and mind as Bachson's life-signs registered as "deceased" on his HUD. He continued screaming for several moments, smashing his helmeted head against the wall to his back until stars began to blink in and out of existence along the periphery of his vision. He felt a hand grasp him by the ankle and shake his leg vigorously, and Defay suddenly realized he hadn't been able to hear anything during the last few moments.Defay! DEFAY! Handle your osik2 mate! We've got a job to do, Bachson did his. Now get out there! Hadrix just commed us, hostiles have breached the bridge hull. Defay shook his head, which was throbbing with pain and anger, but was able to clear his mind well enough to refocus his attention on the task at hand. Bachson was done for, the victim of random circumstance, nothing more. He hadn't failed, he hadn't quit, he had just…fallen. Defay didn't care why, the fact that he was dead was all that mattered. Whatever had caused the violent shaking had sent one of his commandos to his death, and Defay intended on taking his rage out on the pirates he knew would be waiting for them. Defay chewed on his bottom lip until it bled, waiting in livid silence before Sergent Locklear had reached the opposite side of the lift door where Bachson had just fallen from. Together, the pair pried open the doors and ushered through the rest of the team, each taking covered positions behind walls and bulkheads at the aft end of the command deck. Willam and Rhett slipped through last, after Thelmat, who appeared to be shaken by his near fall, but otherwise alright. Sergent Defay clapped the man on the shoulder as he climbed through the lift doors, then followed Locklear outside as well. The scene before them was utter chaos. Dead pirates lay in heaps all throughout the bridge, and blaster fire screamed in droves from aft to bow. The silent rounds used by their Verpine weapons could be neither seen nor heard, but Defay caught sight of several pirates falling to the ground as the projectiles found their targets. Defay queued his comlink and sent a report to Hadrix.Hadrix, we're here, aft of the bridge, in the lift corridor. Keep your weapons up but cease fire, we'll take them from behind.Ali responded quickly to Defay's communication, acknowledging his order and sending it out to the rest of her team. The great thing about Verpine weapons being silent ones meant that not only was it hard to discern when you were being fired at, but also when you weren't being fired at. The pirate hostiles would have little idea their enemy had ceased firing on them, and therefore would have no reason to suspect the true threat to their health lay behind them. Defay had no idea what kind of casualties Ali's commandos might have taken, though he hadn't heard any reports of such yet. After a moment, Leftenant Hadrix reported they had ceased fire, and Defay knew the moment to strike had come. He sent the verbal command out to his team before removing his helmet from his head and clipping it to his belt. He swore to himself that their unsuspecting prey would die gazing in horror at the twisted, devilish face of a GALSAF Commando. With a rage-filled bellow, Defay broke ranks, pushing past Loacklear, Thelmat, Fardak and Carrin. He left his rifle to hang from its clip on his shoulder, the barrel strapped against his waist. The durasteel blades built into the backs of his gauntlets exposed themselves with a schik sound as he barreled towards his first two targets. The pirates, paired off across the aft end of the bridge wherever they could find cover, had little idea of the threat to their rear. The two pirates Defay was angling for glanced back to spot him as his roars strayed into earshot over the din of the battle, but they were unable to react fast enough before the GALSAF Commando slammed his fists against them, burying his blades into their sides. Defay launched himself forward, falling to the deck on top of his victims, and yanking the durasteel blades from their bodies as he pulled himself to his feet. Two more pirates stood off to his left, huddled together against a communications console as they took turns peeking out and firing. Defay bellowed once more, throwing his armored shoulder against the first man with the full weight of his body and jamming his left blade into the man's armpit. Before his partner realized what was happening, Defay thrust his right blade into the man's neck. Blood shot from the wound, spraying the bulkhead behind which he was hiding.1: Backside, Ass 2: Shit

It happened in a flash. One moment she was threatening pirates, the next smoke was all around her as well as shrapnel and dead pirates. Her armor had protected her from most of it, but a peice had jabbed itself through her visor, slicing her right cheek. She tore the peice out and threw her helmet to the ground after she got up from the wall she stumbled against. She tryed to reignite her blade and noticed the handle had been cut in half. She cursed under her breath and pulled out one of her pistols with her left hand, firing shots down at the pirates who were trying to eliminate them. She was obviously angry about her lightsaber and was taking it out with every shot she fired.*

*The pair of torpedoes rocketed towards the gunship as it closed in on the bridge. Pulling hard right, the gunship dodged the first torpedo. The second however, detonated directly in front of the ship. The MAFs sheilds went down, fire erupting from various structural damages. Kaytra let out a yell of success, which quickly became a string of swearing. Instead of going down, the MAF swung hard left again and plowed into the bridge. The ship drug itself across the side of the bridge like a wounded animal before breaking away, leaving behind a trail of smashed windows and steel supports. Barely keeping itself in the air, the MAF somehow cleared the top of the bridge and dropped over the other side.*
"How is that thing still moving?" *Throttling the Hati forward, she urged the ship into the hunt for the MAF. As the cleared the top of the bridge, the MAF became visible again by its trail of smoke rising into the sky.* "There you are. I'm bringing us in Asha. Don't fire on them until we're right on top off them."
*The Hati cleared the distance with a thundering roar. The ship itself seemed eager to go in for the kill. Kaytras hands gripped tight on the yoke with anticipation. It didn't take them long to reach the injured gunship however, and once they were close enough..* "Tear them apart Leftenant!"
