*Crystaall scoffed as she stepped over the unconscious bodies. She was not impressed, she had seen and done more than this, but did hide a little bit of a smile. She was still impressed. She looked at Ali and laughed a she cocked the pistol in her han once more.*

Ali rolled her eyes behind the visor of her helmet. Moving to Crystaall Sehefadu's side, she wrapped her arm around the woman's waist and shook her gently. " No need to be jealous, Crys, it's just his way. Ali teased, smiling although no one could see her face. She was proud to be surrounded by such capable warriors, beings of all kinds she knew she could rely on for their different skills and personalities. She let her arm slip from Crystaall's waist, enjoying the moment of touch they had, though she slapped the woman's bottom playfully. C'mon, let's get moving. From what I'm picking up over the comms, Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh's team has already made their way into the city. It won't be long before the pirate's know what's up and send forces their way. We need this ship. With that, Ali began making her way back down the corridor, towards the other lift that would take them a level up to the ship's main weapons bays. There were bound to be plenty of pirates for them all to handle, considering that upper level housed the Venator's series of massive turbolaser batteries.

*Crystaall nodded toward Ali an began to follow, both hands on her pistol and held againat her waist. She winced in pain at the hole in her left arm, but shook it off.*
"Ali, how about we take the stairs this time."

Ali glanced back as Crystaall Sehefadu spoke, catching the pain that passed over the woman's face. Ali looked down at her arm, which was sparking at the entrance of the wound she had sustained in the bombing. Suddenly worried, despite the limb's prosthetic nature, Ali turned and placed Sergent Bilyers on far security before stepping up to Crystaall. She grabbed the woman's arm, pulling it towards her, taking Crystaall's damaged limb away from her firearm. As Ali stripped back the protective covering, dropping it onto the floor. The pole that had damaged the limb had bit straight through the elbow, severing one of the two joint arms that allowed the limb to bend. Three of the eight stabilizing arms, much smaller and more intricate, were likewise damaged, and would significantly hinder the joint's ability to twist back and forth. Scanned over the damaged prosthetic with her HUD, marking the mangled parts in red. Ali looked up at Crystaall, frowning behind her visor. We don't have the parts to fix this, Crys. She muttered, mulling the situation over in her mind. An idea suddenly sparked, and Ali looked over to Sergent Walf. Walf, grab me one of those pirate blaster rifles. She said, waiting for the man to pick up one of the weapons and hand it to her. A moment later, the rifle was in her grasp. She let go of Crystaall's prosthetic arm for a moment, pulling the sonic multi-tool from her belt that she had used to fix up Crystaall's shoulder on the gunship during their approach. Quickly, she dismantled the rifle, removing the upper receiver from the lower, withdrawing the barrel, and stripping out the gas chamber and power relay. The power relay consisted of several small rods that drew power from the rifle's ammunition pack and sent it through the gas chamber to be charged before firing. Holding the rest of the weapon parts out for Walf to hold, Ali used her multi-tool to separate the four small rods. Activating the multi-tool's plasma torch, Ali cut out the three damaged stabilizer rods in Crystaall's mutilated arm, discarding them onto the floor with a clatter. Holding the ad hoc replacements in place one by one, Ali fused them to the joint in Crystaall's prosthetic. As they cooled, Ali held out her hand to Walf, who gave her back the disassembled blaster rifle. Switching the multi-tool back to its other functions, Ali removed the gas chamber housing rod and returned the rifle to Walf, then held the rod in place alongside Crystaall's injury, measuring a section of it with her thumb. Using the multi-tool's plasma torch again, Ali cut the housing rod down to size and slipped it into the wound, fusing the elbow's primary joint back together. Ali reached down and picked up the damaged prosthetic covering and snapped it back into place on Crystaall's arm. She looked up at the woman, resting her hand on Crystaall's hip and giving it an affectionate squeeze. That's twice I've fixed you up today, girl. Ali teased sweetly, placing the multi-tool back into her belt pouch. She grabbed her sub-assault rifle with the other hand, then nodded to Sergent Walf. Let's go…up the stairs this time. Ali turned on one foot and began moving forward, turning down off the main corridor and making her way up the stairs that would lead them to the turbolaser batteries. Hopefully Crystaall's arm would hold up, and that beskar'gam of hers would provide better protection in the future.

*Crystaall sighed as her arm was yanked from her firearm, and Ali began to work on it immidiately. She watched her work and just stayed silent. When she finished she stretched before holding the pistol with both hands again. She twitched as Ali grabbed her hip and blushed. She followed Ali once more and grinned when she said they would use the stairs. No surprises now.*

*Kaytra breathed a sigh of relief when the starfighter went down in flames.*
::Sorry Bonafeld. This gunships no match for a fighter::
*The yoke shook in her hands. That was twice now this ship had taken damage, those were bad odds. Plus side, it was still flying. She looked out the cockpit window at the smoking remains of the turret. Now to figure out how to keep the rest of the ship together.*
::Leftenat. Do you have a position on the infiltration team?::
Leftenant Asha Bonafeld, L-44-F Asha shook her head as @kaytra voiced her worries. We'll hold up just fine, don't worry. This thing can take a beating. She hoped her words assuaged the other pilot's concerns, though to be honest Asha herself didn't believe them. The gunship's operational success hinged on the Baron's local forces that were supposed to be providing backup. None of them had been seen, as of yet, and Asha was starting to grow frustrated. On the open comm channel, between GALSAF and the Administrator's personnel, Asha put out a request for such support.Cloud City Law Enforcement, this is Larty-Four-Four-Fox, demanding immediate support! Where are you, we're taking a pounding here! Asha killed the comm channel and switched her HUD to the targeting display screen. Hostile red icons popped up everywhere, and while many had split away from their pursuit of the gunship and made towards Tibannopolis, the rest were still intent on destroying the two-man gunship. Asha had no idea how much longer they would last. Suddenly, her sensors screamed as half-a-dozen missile locks began to ring in her ears. Instantly, she keyed the countermeasures, and brilliant pink chaff flares began spouting outwards from the gunship in all directions. The first four missiles blew early, their shockwaves kicking the gunship in the rear, though thankfully the other two were broken of their locks entirely, detonating well away from the LA-AT/i. Asha held her breath momentarily, waiting for the countermeasures to reload with another series of flares.Kaytra, what if we were to head into the city; lose some of these fighters there? Think you can manage those maneuvers?Leftenant Ali Hadrix, GC-1124 Turbolaser Battery Level, Unidentified pirate Venator-class Star Destroyer Ali waited outside the hydraulic door that led to the vessel's turbolaser batteries. The rest of the team was gathered on either side, with Crystaall Sehefadu standing at her back. There was no place Ali would have preferred her to be. Sergent Walf nodded silently at Ali, a gesture that he was ready to breach the corridor beyond, where dozens of pirates were bound to be manning the many weapon stations that provided the Venator with its power. Their task was to eliminate the crew, secure the area, and leave a pair of commandos behind to man the weapon stations, leaving the rest to automated functions. The rest of the team would make their way to the Bridge, and secure the vessel on their own behalf. Ali returned Walf's nod, and the man pulled a shaped charge from his kit, holding it against the door and pulling the strap attached to the back of the charge outwards, away from it. The strap was secured to a seal built into the outer edge of the charge, and would suction the explosive device to the door. Once the charge was ready, the team crouched low to avoid the back-blast, and Ali clicked her commlink twice to announce the order. Sergent Walf tapped the command into his wristcomp and the charge detonated with a loud roar. The hydraulic door was blown inward, ripped entirely from its anchors, and thrown several meters into the room beyond. Ali followed the door with her weapon up, blaster bolts screaming from the barrel as she identified one pirate after another. She pressed forward, into the room, banking right even as Walf banked left, both of them spreading out and following the outer walls of the corridor, allowing the rest of the team to fill the center. They crossed their lines of fire, sending pirates to their deaths wherever they stood or sat. It was several moments before their enemy was able to muster any sort of response, and by that point, Crystaall had already entered the fray.

*Crystaall had been watching the attack vectors of her allies and decided to take out everyone's 3rd or 4th target vector and when the charge blew she was in the room with lightning speed, firing shots at her primary targets and took out her secondarys with quick neck snaps and occasional groin punches.*

Less than half a minute after the team had breached, the area fell silent as the last pirate faced his death in the form of Crystaall Sehefadu's arms breaking his neck. The man slumped to the floor in a heap as Ali walked over to the battery center command console and began reassigning the automated targeting data by uploading a packet from her helmet. The console flared orange briefly as her slicing software broke the console's command codes, then turned green as her fake credentials were authenticated. Quickly, she tapped in several commands on the console's board, and the targeting mainframe accepted the reassignments. Hostile forces suddenly turned green, and friendlies orange. Stepping away from the console, Ali reported her status over the comm channel they shared with the Jensaarai.Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh, I've just reassigned the Venator's hostile targeting data to the rest of the pirate fleet. They're ready to begin firing whenever you can get support forces in the area. We're making our way to the bridge now, to take control of the rest of the ship and prevent the pirates from overriding my commands. I'm leaving two commandos on the weapons deck, the rest of this is on you.Ali killed the connection, hoping to get a response soon after, then picked her rifle back up and nodded to the rest of the team, noting Tanicus had disappeared yet again. Fine with her, the man operated best on his own anyhow. Everyone one me, save for Forlor and Turral, you two stay here and make sure this place stays on lockdown. I want at least one of you on the guns manually, be ready to tear into those Acclamators they have. Ali turned away and made for the lift at the far end of the deck, the one that would lead them directly to the bridge. By now the pirates must know something was amiss in the ship's weapons, though Ali hoped the team would make it to the bridge before they were able to muster any sort of defense.

Just as they reached the lower floor, it was then they heard the loud sound of clatter. Upon noticing the third Weequay that was killled by Sylas, a loud yell came from someone far down one of the corridors asking "what was that noise," causing the Saarai-kaar to look and speak quietly to his team."Pearl, Kasha, Aiko, hide the bodies and stay out of sight! Johnny, go confront the person coming over here in disguise!"Gesturing for the commandos and Enbilulu to follow him, Garwig spoke again."Follow me."He said as Johnny Vee went back into his holo-disguise he had of the pirate he knocked out earlier. As the holodroid made his way down the corridor, the three individuals Garwig commanded to hide the bodies grabbed a downed pirate individually. The three of them going into a small nearby locker room while Garwig and the others went to hide behind a wall in another corridor.=Johnny Vee= Walking down the corridor while in his holo-disguise as a pirate and holding a blaster rifle, Vee went down the sound of the yell from someone who wondered what the noise was. Upon bumping into the pirate as the individual was walking in the hallway, Johnny stood there to listen to him.=Weequay Pirate= "What was that noise?" =Johnny Vee= "Dropped my rifle. I was talking to the others in the lobby when it happened." =Weequay pirate= "Hey, aren't you supposed to be patrolling the hangar outside?" =Johnny Vee= "I just got called to help in the battle up there. Just stay here and patrol this corridor." =Weequay pirate= "Well it's just me and the guys in the lobby here. Whatever. Just get to the upper levels." =Johnny Vee= After the pirate told that to what he assumed as a comrade, the pirate turned his back to return to his patrol and Vee struck the back of his head with the butt of the rifle he carried. After the Weequay fell to the ground unconscious, Johnny took note that apparently he and the others in the lobby were the only ones in his area and ran down the corridor to rejoin the group. Yelling out loud so the others would emerge from hiding as he deactivated his holo-disguise."I'm back! Looks like that was the last pirate around over here." =Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh= Getting out of his hiding place along with the rest of the team after hearing his holodroid, Garwig spoke."Good. I say we go into these barracks now and get ourselves some disguises." He said as Aiko, Pearl, and Kasha came out of the locker room after dumping the bodies in there. Them along with Enbilulu nodded in agreement with the Saarai-kaar, as Garwig looked to Sylas and the other commandos to see if they agreed. This included the Imperial Knight Finnick too who was sent by Xeonon Solomon .
It was then he heard the comm in his ear. Hearing Ali Hadrix, Garwig responded to her as he placed his hand on his ear.:: Ali, we're in the lower levels where some barracks the pirates are using are located. We're putting on disguises so we can access the ships outside easier. Once we're in the ships, we'll hijack them and turn them on the other pirate ships. If need be, retreat back to Cloud City with the Venator-class and Cloud City sky patrol, then come back once we're all in position with the hijacked ships to turn them on the pirates to hit them real hard. ::Garwig told her over the comm and he too was ready to enter one of the rooms to search for a pirate outfit that could fit him....................... =Leon Calrissian= Hearing Asha over the comm, the Baron responded to her.:: We're right with you, Larty-four-four-fox. I'm having the Storm Four's and Talon One's help take out the enemy fighters. ::Leon said and ordered the sky patrol over the comm to focus more on the enemy fighters closest to the Larty nearby the Venator-class star destroyer. That heard, the combat airspeeders did as they were told and ten Storm four's, as well as ten Talon one's began shooting at the enemy fighters within the vicinity of the LAAT/i. Some of the Marauder-class corvettes also got into the fight, and Asha would quickly notice some of the red targets on her HUD display begin to fade away. Giving her and the aircraft a greater chance against the enemy fighters they faced.

*When Crystaall finished snapping the man's neck and Ali gave two men orders to stay in the room and operate the guns, she already headed to the lift, holstering her pistol and pulling out one of her black swords. She waited for Ali and the rest to arrive in the lift. Once Ali activated the lift, Crystaall nudged her and smiled.*

Ali acknowledged her receipt of Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh's communication with a simple, "Roger," then turned her attention back on the turbolift. Crystaall Sehefadu took her place beside Ali, holstering her pistol and drawing one of the black swords she carried. Ali was impressed by the weapon, though having already seen Crystaall in action, she knew this was just another walk in the park for the Jensaarai woman. A walk in the park…that's something we could enjoy when this is all over, Ali thought to herself as Crystaall nudged her in the side, smiling. "How much you want to bet there's another bomb?" Crystaall joked, prompting Ali to slug her playfully in the shoulder with an open palm. And to think, Crys, I was just getting over the last one. Ali chuckled, the vocoder in her helmet adding that tinny sound to her voice. The Mandalorian woman waited for the turbolift doors to open, and once confirming they were clear, she stepped inside with Crystaall and the rest of the team. Briefly, Ali wondered where Tanicus had run off to, and if he would be meeting them on the Bridge. She assumed he would, though with operatives like him, one could never tell. Ali slumped back against the handrail inside the lift, suddenly feeling the pain and exhaustion from the last hour wash over her. She let her helmeted head fall against Crystaall's shoulder, though she remained awake and alert.Whatever's waiting for us up there, I've enjoyed my time with you all. Ali muttered, surprising even herself. She wasn't much for intimacy, even between comrades, though considering the handful of close calls they'd already suffered that day, she felt there was no better time to get it out. Ali tentatively reached out for Crystaall's hand, which hung near hers, and squeezed a couple of her fingers in her grasp. You especially, Crys. With that, Ali let the moment fade, and let her hand fall away from the other woman's. It had been years since she'd felt any relative closeness with another woman, her training and following duties with GALSAF hadn't allowed her the time. She had been too self-centered during her years on Yavin 4 to allow herself to fall in with anyone; she had even kept her personal self distanced from her fellow soldiers with the Defense Force there. And in the end, the only thing she had learned was that when you missed out on friendships, you missed out on all relationships. It wasn't a mistake she was wanting to make again, though Ali was beginning to wonder if it was too late.

*Crystaall patted Ali's head as she felt it hit her shoulder. Hearing the last part of Ali's sensitive words, Crystaall smiled and put her arm around Ali.*
"Whatever comes next, I hope it doesn't kill me. I feel like I could stand here forever."
*As crystaall said this she readied her sword in her right hand, and was prepared to deflect any blows and any blaster fire that came at her and her allies.*

*Kaytra gave a silent nod at Ashas suggestion. Banking hard to the left, she brought the gunship down towards the floating city. The gunship rattled as they drew closer to the city, each shake made Kaytra wonder if the LAAT/i was going to stay in one piece.*
::Alright Leftenant watch out butts. I don't want any wannabe pilots trying to shoot them off::
*She pulled the battescarred ship close to the cities edge and began to fly a perimeter around it. Banking hard to starboard, she brought the ship into the city. Slowing down the injured gunship, Kaytra began to expertly weave in and out o the buildings. Her hope was to use the LAAT/is repulsor lifts to move more agile through the city then the fighters. This proved more difficult then she hoped since most of the ships repulsor lifts had taken major damage.*

Infiltration Team, Lower Levels of Tibannopolis, Pirate BarracksHe'gai and Sylas quickly rejoined the rest of Second Squad and the Jensaarai as the holo-droid, Johnny, went to confront the last pirate. Upon returning, Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh proposed that they get dressed up as pirates.
Sergent Huff He'gai nodded an affirmative at the Saarai-kaar's suggestion and gestured for his squad to get changed. One of the Commandos, Lance Corporal Dreemer, clapped Sylas on the back on the way to the barracks. "You're alright, Sylas." Before going ahead of him. Second Squad's commandos didn't have to alter their outfits much since they were already dressed in similar garb as the pirates, in preparation for the mission. All their faces remained covered for the most part.
Finishing up, Sergent He'gai relayed his words over the com to Garwig. He'gai here. 2nd Squad's ready to move out.

{ Bridge, Venator-class Star Destroyer – Pirate’s Flagship (but not for much longer!) }Hope stays the hand of destruction, for even the darkest souls hold a chance for redemption, to embrace the Light. Tanicus reminds himself. He smiles at the woman, Crystaall, when she explains to him the folly of leaving enemies alive and embracing overconfidnce. He acknowledges only the most foolhardy warrior would believe himself safe after knocking an enemy down and continuing into battle against others. Yet, he does this nonetheless. Because he believes in second chances; these pirates have that much, from what he can sense. Unlike the Jetii or Dar’Jetii, he does not have the Force, but he does have...gifts. Gifts that he uses to its fullest extent as and when necessary. When Leftenant Ali Hadrix takes the teams to continue with their mission, Tanicus bumps Sergent Bilyers on the arm and says, “Ba'slan shev'la (Strategic disappearance).”Once more, he is alone. Once more, he will journey ahead of his fellow commandos, and clear a path for his teammates. Taking to the ventilation shafts again, he traverses the pipelines until he reaches the bridge. Gazing through the vents to see below, Tanicus sees the command bridge (the right side of the two bridges on a Venator), a commander, and some crew members frantically scrambling to regain control of the ship’s weapons (courtesy of GALSAF commandos slowly taking control of the vessel). And now, the bridge itself is about to be compromised, by him. He kicks the vent shaft open and drops right through, dropping to his knees and quickly straightening up, “Su’cuy, chakaar (Greetings, pirates).”The captain, his back turned to Tanicus and gazing out the bridge viewport, addresses the brazen intruder while his crew brandishes blades at him. “Ye’ll pardon the incomprehension of simple pirates, good sir, but we don’t cast words beyond Basic.”Tanicus smirks, “I was merely greeting you.”“Fair enough,” the pirate captain replies, turning around, he flourishes grandly, taking off his plumed hat and bowing low, “Captain Arget Kolhar. We acknowledge your greeting, and now we be bidding you farewell. Gentlemen?”Taking a cue from their captain, the pirates bridge crew approach Tanicus menacingly, though the Alata (Radiant) does not flinch or show the slightest hint of worry. Instead, he grins cheerfully at the corsairs and produces a metallic sphere the size of a fist from one of his belt pouches. “May I introduce you to a game played by the children from my homeworld? It is called Thevm Het'Enh (Hebrew: The Sphere of Contention).”At the sight of the pirates’ confusion, Tanicus hurls the ball at the ground. It immediately bounces right back up, smashes into the face of one pirate with bone-shattering force, then bounces across to impact another pirate’s face. Tanicus bends backwards rapidly to avoid getting his own face hit with the metal ball, and after the second pirate had been knocked out, he places one hand on the ground behind him whilst lifting up his left leg just as the ball strikes at the ground where his left foot had been milliseconds ago, crushes a third pirate in the gonads, bounces back to the ground, and Tanicus does a flip, allowing the sphere to sail uninterrupted by him through the air where his back had been. This complicated dance continues as the ball gains speed and momentum the more pirates that get hit, while Tanicus dodges the ball by remaining in the center of all the pirates trying to attack him, and moving in a strange dance that allows him to avoid getting hit even once by the metal ball. Finally, when the last pirate (aside from the captain) has been knocked out, Tanicus falls on one knee and lifts his left hand up, catching the destructive metal sphere easily.
He straightens up and shrugs helplessly at the unconscious pirates, “Did I forget to mention that you’re not supposed to let the ball make contact with any part of your body other than your hands or feet?”He turns at the sound of applause from one man, and nods at Captain Arget Kolhar, “A fine demonstration of my crew’s incompetence, but nary something I am not aware of. I suppose ye’ll be wantin’ me to surrender now?”“It is my sincere hope that you’ll see the sense in doing so. Grandson of Hektor Kolhar.”Arget frowns at Tanicus, “How do ye be knowin’ me grandfather?”“Long before you were born,” Tanicus answers “I knew your grandfather, as a young man and a pirate. He simply did not know better, thus I merely subdued him. When last we spoke, it was impressed upon me by him that he would take the opportunity to live a better life, in the law. And I watched him for a time. When your father was born, I was of the belief that he had indeed changed his life. Imagine my surprise when you mentioned your name to me. I knew you for his grandchild, as you share almost the same face. It would seem as if you however, unlike your grandfather, returned to the old ways, and have remained so without guidance or change.”Arget nods, “Aye, I remember ye now. Old grandmother used to paint the image of the man who changed grandfather’s life.”“Which will it be, Kolhar? Will you take the path like your grandfather?”Arget watches Tanicus with a regarding look, who holds his hands to either side in an almost asking manner.“I’m set in me ways, and there be only one way I will be taken off this ship...” He draws his blade. The sound of metal sighing against leather seals the pirate captain’s decision.
Tanicus closes his eyes in silent despair, and similarly draws his great sword, Gath Andùr, from its sheath once more. “I urge you to reconsider, Captain Kolhar. This need not be the way.”“Aye, but ‘tis the way I choose it to be. I am a warrior, as much as ye are, and I say we settle the matter like as with the noble tradition of the old days.”Sighing, Tanicus takes on a sword stance, his movements shifting to a graceful but deadly readiness, “So be it.”Both men lunge forward at the same time, Arget’s blade rising up from the ground, and Tanicus’ blade arcs through the air from above, crashing down. Their blades meet, and the battle begins.

Heavily modified Arquitens-class light cruiser, Firestorm - BridgeThe Firestorm drops out of hyperspace, within atmosphere. One moment the skies are swarming with reprobate starfighters harassing the Jensaarai support and the LAAT/i gunship belonging to GALSAF, and the next, a Arquitens-class light cruiser blinks into existence, firing ion bolts at the hostile fighters, disabling them without destroying the ships. However, since they are within atmosphere, there’s this wonderfully annoying problem known as gravity, which basically pulls the deadweights down. But the pilots of the Firestorm seem to anticipate this, as tractor beams power up and grabs hold of the falling fightercraft, holding them in place. Alternatively, cables are fired out and latch on to the ships, ensuring they aren’t going to crash, though the experience for the hapless pilots in the fighters is no doubt, extremely jarring. In the bridge, Camarann, the lead pilot, issues a single command on the comlink, :: Go. :::: YEEEEHOOOO!!! :: Axton Nobulus disengages from the Firestorm, having ridden on the dorsal hull section with five other ARC-170 starfighters, :: Come on, commandos! We’ve got some pirates to pirate from! :::: What are we pirating from them again? :: Danaewyn pipes up from the co-pilot’s seat.:: Anything and everything that belongs to them! Dibs on the Z-95! :::: Refrain from crowding the comlinks, commandos. :: Camarann rebukes Axton and Danaewyn flatly, then opens a channel to Leftenants Kaytra Tatham and Asha Bonafeld, :: Larty-four-four-foxtrot, Firestorm has you covered. ::Camarann turns to look at her co-pilot and constant companion, Harmony, and nods, “Activate the experimental shields.”Harmony nods, and flicks a red black switch. The lights within the ship dim as power begins to drain heavily from the Firestorm’s batteries and core, to power up the secret Shield X. A near invisible field of energy envelopes the cruiser over the normal shields. Supposedly, the experimental Shield X would render any ship using it near-invulnerable, but the power drain is outrageous. Camarann has to compensate some systems by rerouting the energy flow to better keep the cruiser in working order while still running the shield. She turns off the standard Phoah-Kingsmeyer 484-J4e shields since having an invulnerability field along with a modified heavy shield would be redundant. The specialized standard shields of the Firestorm are also heavily modified. Normally found on CR90 Corellian Corvettes, with an SBD rating of 400, Firestorm’s has a rating that can spike to 1,000.
Enemy fighters rapidly thin with the presence of the GALSAF cruiser, and its six fighter escorts. Armed with ion cannons, the cruiser and the fighters disable the enemy fighters and the cruiser latches on to the disabled ships with grappling cables or tractor beams. Camarann speaks with Kaytra and Asha again, :: If your vessel has suffered damage, you can board the Firestorm, we have the hangar and repair bay standing by. ::To emphasize this, the ventral hangar bay opens, anticipating the arrival of the LAAT/i gunship. With the cruiser’s massive bulk covering the skies above, and with the pirate fighters now becoming wary of the ship’s ion cannons, Kaytra and Asha have a clear path directly into the cruiser’s hangar. Service droids scramble about, preparing for some record-breaking repair service in the midst of battle. Inside the hangar, a heavy-set YV-929 armed freighter is parked, ready to lift off at a moment’s notice. The gunners and bridge crew work feverishly to keep the cruiser’s rate of fire, power supply to the shields and tractor beams running, while Camarann does most of the aiming and control of the grappling hooks, as well as aiming the projectile weapons, though they are currently offline due to the Shield X preventing her from firing non-energy weapons. Technically, even the lasers shouldn’t be able to fire out of the Shield X, but we’ll just ignore that piece of inconsistency to keep up the Firestorm’s awesomeness. “Camarann,” Harmony says, “Tanicus left a burst transmission specific to our com channels. I wonder what it is.”“You should decipher it, it could be a distress call.” Camarann says.
Harmony dances her frail fingers over the console, and declares, “Done...it’s, hmm...he’s letting us know on the status of the commandos inside that Venator-class Star Destroyer.” Camarann simply watches Harmony and listens while still guiding the cruiser, disabling enemy fighters and capturing them with tractor beams or grappling cables. She silently prompts Harmony to continue. “They’ve made impressive progress, but there were some injuries sustained. And Tanicus is about to take the bridge...by himself.”Harmony pinches the bridge of her nose between her thumb and index finger, “That man is just unbelievable...”Camarann blinks and regards Harmony with a mildly confused look, “I think he has impressive skill and ability for an organic.” In her supreme confusion, Camarann believes herself to be a highly advanced Human Replica Droid (HRD), thus her reference to Tanicus as an organic, when she so obviously is one herself, considering that she has virtually no cybernetics of any kind in her. And besides, if she really is a terminator, why would she need to wear this awesome Katarn-class commando armor, huh?
Harmony rolls her eyes and sighs, “Of course you would think so highly of him.”Pushing away from the co-pilot’s seat, she gets up and heads for the exit. Camarann’s eyes follow after her friend, “You are going to join the commandos on the Venator.”“No getting past your impeccable eye for detail.”“You’re too frail without me, I will need to come along with you.”“You’re a genius.”“But I am also flying the Firestorm.”Harmony rolls her eyes again, “You’re not the only pilot on board right now.” She points over at Leftenant Halkom.“I am a better pilot.” Camarann flatly states. Harmony has to remind herself that Camarann doesn’t have arrogance or the ability to perceive and understand confidence. Instead she states facts. There is little doubt that she is an excellent pilot and multitasker. Few can perform the running of a cruiser of this size nearly single-handed, and handle so many systems, weapons, shielding and flying all at once. Still, under the circumstances, if Camarann wants to fly this ship rather than follow her only friend...“Very well, you fly the Firestorm, I’ll take the Resolute over to the Venator alone.” She turns around and starts walking away slowly, mentally counting down, 5...4...3...2...“Leftenant Halcom,” Camarann says while undoing her safety harness in a hurry, “Take over, Leftenant Kitt, you’re the co-pilot now. Follow the mission plan.”Harmony feels guilty for manipulating Camarann this way, making her choose her friend or the ship. Then again, she sort of feels glad that Camarann, despite her belief that she’s just a droid incapable of feeling or sentiment, does feel a form of attachment to Harmony, and a desire to preserve her friend’s life. Leftenants Halcom and Kitt, father and son quickly take over the controls, and Halkom mutters to himself, “We’re in the wrong damn movie...” Camarann arches an eyebrow at the man’s back, then turns to look at Harmony in wonderment, but the girl shrugs helplessly, and the two quickly make their way to the hangar bay, where a handful of GALSAF commandos in full armour are standing at attention, ready to deploy with the two. Quickly boarding the YV-929 armed freighter, the girls and the commandos take off from the cruiser, high-fives the LAAT/i gunship while passing by (assuming Kaytra and Asha do take the Larty to get a quick fix on board the Firestorm, otherwise, this ship-to-ship high-five never happened). At the very same hangar bay of the Venator where Kaytra had earlier dropped off the first bunch of commandos, Camarann and Harmony now blast their way into the hangar, as if the place isn’t messed up enough, and hose the area down with controlled bursts of napalm, just in case some pirates weren’t as dead as they looked.
This is the Overkill Manuever. Effective, but unnecessary, hence why it’s overkill.
The Resolute resolutely sets down on the charred surface, and the commandos pour out, all of them gaping at the amount of surface damage the Resolute’s flamethrowers had wrought on the hangar bay and any corpses that might have been littering the place. Cleaning up the mess is going to be a neimodian. Camarann steps out first, preventing Harmony from setting foot on the ground until she’s completed a visual scan with her...eyes. Armed with a shotgun, the girl decides that it’s safe enough and finally allows Harmony to step out with a curt nod. “The rest of the teams are most likely in the bridge already.” Camarann briefs, “We make our way to them, and secure all locations that they’ve been through. Is everything clear? Good. Let’s go.”Following the trail of bodies and various other signs of controlled destruction, Camarann, Harmony and the commandos find little challenge, until they reach the weapons room, where it quickly becomes obvious that many of the pirates are still alive, or otherwise severely incapacitated. This kind of damage and the fact that most if not all of the pirates are still alive can only be the work of one man: Tanicus. With his principle of not killing unless absolutely necessary, no matter the kind of training he received from the Mandalorians, it’s easy to make out his handiwork. “Secure this place. Five of you remain here to ensure none of them cause trouble.”Five commandos stay behind and begin piling the pirates together, and using a wire cable to tie them up, so as to ease their job of watching over the unconscious or wounded pirates, whilst Camarann, Harmony and the rest of the commandos continue on their way. At the sound of a disturbance coming from a corridor, and a nod from Camarann, the three remaining commandos head down that way. Before long, the commandos encounter a surprisingly large number of heavily armed and large pirates, who spot the commandos and immediately opens fire. “ Haa’chaak! (Damn)! Fall back! Cover fire!” The lead commando shouts, and the two forces begin pouring into each other. During the first exchange, one of the commandos takes a bolt to the leg that managed to penetrate the armour, wounding him.
Meanwhile, Camarann and Harmony are close to the command bridge, when the former pauses. Her scanners (actually the Force) warn her of the battle ahead, and the two combatants fighting. “He’s in danger. But he doesn’t know it.” She explains, knowing Harmony can’t touch the Force without suffering greatly. “Tanicus will die if I don’t help him.”Harmony nods in understanding, “Go.”“Stay here, be careful.” Camarann says, “I cannot extend my field of protection to you while I’m using it to protect myself.”Harmony arches an eyebrow, “We need to work on your habit of stating the obvious, Camarann. But that’s for later. Now, go. Go, help Tanicus. I think I ought to be fine for a while.”Camarann regards Harmony with a look for a moment, before readying her shotgun and walking away. Once she turns a corner, Harmony could feel the field of protection leaving her and the weight of Bespin’s gravity almost immediately begins to affect her. She slowly lowers herself to the ground, feeling severely drained and weak. She cannot touch the Force, not without the risk of dying, but she has learned techniques, a way of almost literally skimming the Force, allowing her to draw some measure of strength from the very elements around her. After doing this, she closes her eyes and leans back on the bulkhead, feeling slightly better. She could hear the sounds of Camarann’s shotgun blasting away. Evidently, Camarann has run afoul of some pirates. None of them will be getting past her, so Harmony doesn’t think much of it, though she does wish Camarann isn’t so brutal in her methods of dealing with enemies. They don’t always die, but most of the time, they’ll never be whole again.
That is when she realizes she should have paid a little more mind to her own self and her surroundings, because her much stronger sense of smell and hearing picks up a scent...human...and one who hasn’t bathed in at least his entire lifetime, and loud footsteps, leather boots, without noise suppressors. Katarn-class commando armour came with sound suppressors for the boots, so you’d barely hear a commando coming, and Camarann has a particular way of walking so that she’s literally the only GALSAF commando in Katarn-class armour that can make noise on noise-suppressed boots. So, in conclusion, the person approaching her is not a commando. Which means it’s a...pirate. “Bollocks.” Is all she has time to say as she slowly rises from the ground. She wants to be standing, it’s a readier position than sitting. Her reflexes are near useless at this point, without Camarann around. She almost laughs at the irony of the fact that it’s not quite a “while” yet, and she’s far from fine. Very far. He is getting closer, from the sound, and soon, she will be within sight of him, and he with her. She takes the moment to ponder her options. Running is out, she won’t get very far even if she puts full effort into it. Her skimming and touching of the Force being so limited, she won’t be able to perform more impressive feats beyond moving with the grace and agility of a constipated reek. Fighting back is also not an option. Without Camarann’s protection, she’s about as durable as a Ghostling.
But there are many ways of fighting back...
Her heart almost jumps through her throat when she sees just how burly and large he is. And she can tell that he likes what he sees in her. A girl, alone, and easy pickings.
He’s almost right.“Th-there’s no reason we can’t come to some sort of...accord.” Harmony says, whilst her lightsaber hilt slowly slid out from her right sleeve surreptitiously, hidden from view of the pirate. “W-we can both leave this matter unharmed.”From the way he was looking at her with his leering eyes, Harmony can already tell that half her words are likely not going to enter his head. He’s got only one thing on the mind now. If only he knew what happens when an Ageless and a human kiss or do anything intimate… she thought, and the pirate approaches her. “There ain’t no one but us here, I don’t see why not.” She backs up, pressing herself against the bulkhead, and this encourages him, believing that it is fear that prevents her from thinking. But thinking is all she’s been doing, looking for alternative scenarios and solutions...for his sake, not hers. She knows the outcome. The most obvious and easiest choice is there for her, but it’s not her way, not her preferred choice, and if she can help it, she’ll take another path before she has to traverse this one. “Please...sir...” She pleads, “You don’t understand...”“I understand plenty.” He is already upon her, and she looks up in surprise. His scent makes her dizzy, and not in a good way, but she doesn’t make any sudden moves as he places one hand by her head against the wall, blocking her path, and definitely invading her personal space. With his other hand, he begins to play with a lock of her hair. It is the softest thing he has ever touched. “See, missy, I know you is with them soldier types we got shootin’ the place up. Way I figger it, I ain’t got long ‘fore I’m either dead or worse, caught. Seein’ as you ain’t the fightin’ type, whut th’ hell, I’m gonna have one last ride ‘fore I’m sixed!” Harmony’s lips quiver as she realizes that this pirate literally has a death wish in every way, and she knows now, that her choices are even less than before. He leans closer to her face, and when she doesn’t pull away or try to do anything, he takes that as an invitation, or at the very least, an acceptance of her fate. She turns her lips away at the last second, and he feels her cheek instead, the bristles of his day-old beard grazing her skin uncomfortably, “You’re giving me little choice, and forcing my hand.”“Now now missy,” He chides with surprising gentleness, but this only makes Harmony’s decision much harder. He isn’t as bad as she expected, but his desires are still going to get them both killed. Unless she defends herself, and under the circumstances, she has only one chance, and it has to be before he can kiss her more deeply than just the lips. Otherwise, they’re both dead. Since she developes ten times the amount of endorphins and adrenaline than a human can handle, the kiss, a passionate one, will result in the human having a heart attack, and while in great pain and the throes of death, a fragile Ageless like her will be easily crushed and torn to bits. He tilts her by her chin until she is facing him again, and he leans in once more. Sighing, she gives him this much, and lets him kiss her, while she snakes her left hand along his back, pulling herself closer to him, and her right hand, deceptively searching his front for a proper location. She presses the business end of her lightsaber to the lower left rib of the man, and with an easy flick of her thumb, a snap-hiss sound fills the air. A glowing pink blade of pure energy protrudes from the back of the pirate.
He gasps in the kiss, his eyes already rolling back into his head as life leaves him so swiftly. She gives him a quick death by ensuring the blade goes directly through his heart upon ignition of the blade. She deactivates the blade quickly and watches with great and terrible sorrow at the lifeless form lying at her feet. His life essence surrounds her like a painful cloak that she will wear forever, in honor of him. Even if he might have killed her, she felt sorry. She leans back to think on her actions, and then another horrible thought confronts her: What if others come? She can’t fight them all, and there’s no way...unless...putting away the lightsaber, she is soon holding a small scalpel in her hand. She kneels down before the dead pirate, and begins to draw a light gash over her abdomen. The blade cuts easily through the thin fabric of her shirt, and shiny blue blood oozes out of the wound she inflicted on herself. “ Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la (Not gone, merely marching far away)”She rips at her clothing, making it look like she has been through a violent struggle, then she cuts at an exposed part of her left arm, her eyes contorting with pain, yellow blood pours out from the new wound, “ Ni su'cuyi,” She cuts her leg, and green blood flows, “ gar kyr'adyc,” a wound on the right hand now, and pink blood, “ ni partayli,” she cuts her face, crystal white blood, “ gar darasuum, cha'kaar.”She is now covered in a rainbow array of blood from her own body, signs and proof of her inhumanity, no two wounds bled out the same colour. It is a strange phenomenon that is attributed to her constantly shifting internal liquid system. She also successfully inflicted superficial wounds that produced enough bleeding for her to look like she’d been in sustained combat, but succumbed to wounds. Now all that remains is for her to “die”. She lies down next to the dead pirate, positioning herself in a convincing form of rigor mortis. Now, she concentrates, using a technique she’d learned from a master from the Jedi Temple, she begins to slow down her heart rate and pulse, until it is almost stopped completely. She lets her eyes glaze over and stay wide open, like she died so quickly, she didn’t even have time to close her eyes. At this point, even advanced scanners can be fooled. The idea is to present potential danger with a dead body; they’re more likely to overlook her. At this point, until Camarann returns, she’s safer this way, than trying to lure men to their deaths.
* * * * *
Camarann clomps noisily through the corridors, audaciously announcing her presence to everyone within fifty feet of her. Her boots, despite having sound-repressors, is doing a poor job presently, and her stiff robotic movements helps her make plenty of sound, it’s almost as if she wants to be heard and found. And she is eventually seen. They look at her curiously, as she does them. They are wondering why she is alone, and not trying to be stealthy about her approach. They heard her all the way from two bends round the corridors. They’re trying to figure out what she’s got that makes her so bold as to throw stealth aside completely. She’s wondering which one wants to die first. She makes the decision for them when it seems like they’re taking too long to make up their minds, by pulling the pump handle of her shotgun back and forward in a quick motion. They immediately scatter about, taking cover and opening fire on her. These pirates act a little more organized, they’re probably the elite members, and there’s quite a sizable number of them between her and the command bridge, where she wants to go.
Her scanners (the Force) also tells her that the other commandos are very near, possibly on the opposite corridor that intersects to this place. In which case they will run into these elite pirates. This is an unacceptable risk in her mind, because she believes herself to be the only expendable member of GALSAF, since she is not a living being – though she really is – therefore she can be replaced, but living breathing commandos cannot. Although she is equipped with a respiratory system like an actual organic (so she thinks), she believes it is only to make her a better infiltrator. So, instead of ducking and taking pot shots, she simply plows through the laser fire, her armor and shields resisting most of the assault before the armour begins to suffer damage from close-range blaster fire, but close range is when she is the more dangerous being. She grabs the right hand of the nearest pirate to herself, and with a loud snapping sound, she breaks his arm (her strength amplified through Force Body), and bends it completely the wrong way. Lifting him up, she hurls the shocked pirate at his teammates, momentarily distracting them.
She moves quickly now, but with the steady pace of a juggernaut, she places her hand on a charging pirate, and just shoves him ten feet away, at about a hundred miles per hour. She did this without even bothering to look. Another pirate gets the drop on her however, and pushes her against the bulkhead with his blaster rifle, she turns impassively to look at him, not even realizing that her helmet has been knocked off, and many pirates are stunned to see such a young girl underneath the armour. They were expecting a short she-hulk, with the strength she seems to have. She grabs the blaster rifle and snaps the weapon in half, now the offending pirate steps his feet about uncertainly, not sure to run or to try fighting. Once again, hesitation proves to be the undoing of the pirates. They may be elite, but they’re not GALSAF. She lifts back her right leg, and then shoves the booted foot forward at high velocity speed.
Ever heard of the expression: Kick your arse so hard they’ll have to perform surgery to get my foot back out?
Well, apparently, Camarann won’t be needing surgery. She plants her foot into the pirate with such force, it’s now out the back, and she pulls her leg back out with ease, her entire right leg now covered in blood and guts.
Not. Pretty.
With her so close, she has forced the pirates into a melee that they apparently can’t win, they can’t use their ranged weapons for fear that they might hit each other, and she’s got the strength of a rancor, and she’s not shy about tearing them to pieces. One desperate pirate does try to shoot her in the exposed face, but she tilts her head, and the blaster bolt cuts a wound across her cheek, but she doesn’t flinch or react in the slightest to indicate that she’d been hurt, instead, she just grabs the shooter by the neck with one hand, and SNAP! The man falls limply, and dead, to the floor. She turns around, and five more pirates rush at her. Camarann finally drops her shotgun, now with both hands free, she really gets into it, her armour covered in holes, and signs of injury are present on her body and face, but she doesn’t appear to be aware of them or slowed down in the least. She is going to reach that command bridge if it’s the last thing she does.

Leftenant Asha Bonafeld, L-44-F Tibannopolis, Bespin Lifezone Leftenant @kaytra swung low into the dense collection of skyscrapers and districts that covered the livable surface of Tibannopolis. Asha kept her eyes on the scanners, surprised as their pursuers abandoned the chase. Confused, Asha watched as the enemy fighters broke formation and looped back toward the Venator-class Star Destroyer. Kaytra, we just lost all pursuit, they've turned back towards the Venator, I have no idea why. Switching to broad-spectrum scanners. Asha tapped a command into her console and the gunship's scanner systems switched to a wider range. What she say brought a smile to her lips and she shared her discovery with the other pilot. I've got the Firestorm on scanners, registering at point seven-two-four. She just dropped into the lifezone at the Venator's flank! Asha grinned, then plotted a course that would bring the gunship through the city and around the outskirts of the battle where they could dock with the Firestorm for repairs and refit. After the course was plotted, she uploaded the coordinates to Kaytra's console displays. I recommend we head back this way and drop the ship off for repairs. Asha spoke into the commlink, keeping her eyes on her scanner readouts. I'm sure they'd have something for us to pick up on, unless you left the Hati on board.Leftenant Ali Hadrix, GC-1124 Command Bridge, Unidentified pirate Venator-class Star Destroyer Ali smiled slightly under the cover of her helmet as Crystaall Sehefadu spoke. As the turbolift slowed, Ali straightened herself and pulled her sub-assault rifle against her shoulder. She looked briefly over at Crystaall as the lift stopped. You'd hate standing here forever, knowing there's a fight on the other side of these doors. Ali retorted playfully, smirking slightly. The doors began to slide open and Ali caught sight of a man who's appearance would have caused her to choke on her beer, had she been enjoying one. The man was a pirate, obviously, and a leader to boot. He wore an impressive display of layered cloth beneath a blue naval-style jacket and heavy black boots. His face was well hidden by a scraggly greying beard, with a row of gnarled teeth at its center. To top off the outfit, he wore a broad-brimmed hat with a large feather sticking out from it.You've got to be kidding me, right? Ali muttered, bringing her weapon up and slotting the first pirate that turned her way. The team piled out of the turbolift with great speed, spreading out around the bridge and forming a rough half-circle around the pirate Captain. Ali readied her words as she angled her rifle at the man's face, but was surprised to see Tanicus approach from the opposite direction.Perhaps I shouldn't be so surprised, Ali spoke allowed to the others, stepping back and keeping her weapon aimed at another one of the pirate grunts. She signaled for the rest of the team to do the same, but to leave the men untouched, for the moment. I want to see how this works out. Ali clarified, settling into a relaxed posture as Tanicus began engaging in a game of rhetoric with the Captain, who's name was revealed to be Arget Kolhar. The ensuing conversation, though brief and dominated by Tanicus, told Ali a lot about the specter-like Commando, first and foremost being his age. The man was old, though not the sort of old a grandfather was. He simply had lived for rather long time. Ali stored that information mentally, for future inquiries. The team was ready to handle the remaining pirate soldiers when necessary, though Ali had been keen on seeing Tanicus in action for months, an opportunity that came rarely. The man had remained a mystery to the rest of his comrades since his enlistment, and Sergent Bilyers specifically had a vested interested in rooting out the man's secrets, whatever they may be. Ali's intentions were slightly more professional, more training oriented. Ali was surprised he hadn't been pulled as a trainer or Black Operations by now. Ali stood by and listened to the brief exchange between Tanicus and Captain Kolhar, caught entirely off guard by the sphere-shaped weapon Tanicus employed without warning. As the sphere shot back and forth around the bridge, Ali and her team dove for the floor, forced to abandon their watch of the other pirates on board. This proved to be less of a problem, however, as each of them were just as concerned for their own safety, too much so to risk a counter-attack on Ali and her commandos.

*Kaytra sighed a breath of relief when Asha told her the news.*
::Yeah, lets head back.:: *She gave a slight grin.* ::When don't I have the Hati close by?::
*She pulled the badly battered LAAT/i out of the city towards the Firestorm. The gunship shook slightly under Kaytra as she pushed the ship forward. Quickly they closed in on the Firestorm, heading straight into the anger. Pulling the accelarator to full back, she brought it to a dead stop. Carefully she set the ship on the hangar floor and powered it down. Taking off her helmet, she shook her hair out.*
"Ready for round two Asha?"

*Crystaall laughed at Ali's words as the door's to the lift opened. She saw the pirates get cornered by the commandos and the rest, but she watched as Tanicus popped down from abovvve and slowly took out some of the pirates with his unique weapon. This was something she hadn't expected from this man, but the pirate leader seemed to have some history with Tanicus. She listened to the exchanged words and how the leader lacked the need to speak. One of those, 'my actions prove my worth' guys. She scoffed as Tanicus went toe to toe with the leader and Crystaall avoided the sphere and now watched him attack again, but straight for the leader. She stood there silent and slowly pulled out her lightsaber. She ignited the crimson blade and rose it to her face. Crystaall only nodded to Tanicus, hoping he would know she was there to help him. If the pirate leader ever backed off of Tanicus, Crystaall would try to intimiate or attack the pirate back into the direction of the man. She loved a good fight, but this seemed personal, so she'd only get involved if she knew he was in trouble.*

"Haa’chaak! (Damn)! Fall back! Cover fire!"
The command from Kel's team leader was almost unneeded, but when training kicks in what is or isn't needed is sometimes irrelevant. When the bolts started flying Kel had plastered himself against the wall of the hallway for some protection. He began backpedaling the way he had come from while rapidly squeezing off rounds from his bulpup-style verpine. At this point he was less concerned with accuracy and more interested in sending as many rounds downrange as possible, the narrow hall made aiming easy. A few seconds into firefight and the shields of Kel's second team member were overwhelmed and a lucky shot found a gap in his leg armor. The man went down hard, initially grabbing at his leg before trying to crawl backwards while returning fire with one hand.
"Man down! Covering!"
"Copy, moving!"
The squad leader knelt inside a recessed doorway and began doing his best to fill the other end of the hall with metal. Simultaneously Kel ran over the his fallen comrade. He rolled the man onto his back and grabbed him by the back of his collar, and then dragged him into a side room on the opposite side of the hall from the squad leader while they both sprayed bullets down the hall. Once they were safe Kel took half a second to slap a bacta patch on the mans wound and ran the two steps back to the doorway. As he took up a firing position the squad leader began broadcasting over the encrypted comlink system built into their armor.
"This is fireteam Able Delta. We have encountered a large number of heavily armed pirates and have a man down, we need backup ASAP. We are pinned on deck twenty-three, hall K-12, just aft of weapons control. I repeat, we are outnumbered and have wounded, does anyone copy?"
Kel pulled a low-yield thermal detonator from his belt and lobbed it in the direction of the pirates. There was a momentary slacking in the incoming fire that was accompanied by cries of "Grenade!" just prior to the explosion. Ducked against the bulkhead Kel could feel the walls shudder when the detonator went off, and when he stuck his head out to begin firing there was a hole in the floor a dozen meters away. The pirates had been thinned, but they were far from finished.
