*Berlin had long been an sphere of The Old man's influence. Morrigan reached out here almost immediately. No grand scheme of planetary dominance was even considered. Her business was of a much smaller, if nonetheless lucrative scale*

The shuttle betwixt Clowd City and Tibannopolis was exceptionally efficient. Just as Gid stepped on off the car the door slid shut. Looking high breathed in feep. The ceilings here are high, or is that just an optical illusion she wondered? Things are in reality rather small on both floating cities. She kept walking. And She ran an old, old, old...nursery rhyme through her mind. Not really a rhyme but the way he said it to us was rhythmic. She closed her eyes and heard it clearly..... She could see it clearly! "KTip of the blade, nape of the neck, betwixt the vertebrae, push! Twist! Pull - run!!!! He said It way smoother she thought. It was all so normal! No wonder so many of the teachers were terrified of us. you could see fear in people's eyes. Eyes opening she narrowly sidestepped a man. And he just narrowly escaped. Stopping her left hand went flat high on a wall as her forehead rested on bicep. One the many other pedestrians passing passing by stopped -Stranger- "Mmame are you ok?" Straightening up fast she smiled -Gid- "I'm fine. Thank you." She began walking again, then with a suedden shift on right heel she vanished in a snap. Amazing that. A door slammed shut, making dull and dreary what but a few seconds ago was vibrant and veiled in mystery

She heard of making short of the long before. Appartently her contact had mixed up term. Considerably. At lBong last it was over. The Twi'leck nodded -Gid- "To raibh maith agat - that's "thank you" in Gaelic." And with that she made her leave. Back out into the main platform. Tragic through the area was steady but nothing compared to Cloud City. Her new mission in mind she boarded interstationary transport and began the short ride to Cloud City. Just outside the door, which the girl had just exited, a small emblem stood. And it read: Tale of the Twi'leck Three AN LUCHT SIUIL DHIBH

Krazhmir's Matalok settled down on an abandoned platform. Vong emerged and quickly got to work, clearing areas that could accommodate their prey, not easy with such a large target. Between 800 meters and 10 kilometers in size it was largely assumed that the great beasts were going to have to be draped across the cityscape, the Matalok itself barely fit in order to let warriors and shapers to exit and enter. Finding Beldon's was not a problem, capturing one without blowing up...well that would be a bit more tricky but not overly complicated. Esthh didnt know how many specimens would be necessary but he was prepared to get as many as were necessary. There were apparently space based creatures that could eat nebula or asteroids but those were a bit more difficult to find, but the genetic potential was there somewhere. In any case there was work to be done. Half of the final squadron of coralskippers slipped out to patrol in pairs.

With the structures cleared and plans laid out for the examination of the creature complete warriors and Shapers alike that were needed for the capture trooped back aboard the Matalok, and the large vessel lifted off and moved towards a herd of Beldons that had been reported not far off.
Esthh stood sat in the bridge with a cognition hood on as the vessel slid towards its prey, arguably its largest target ever, even the small beldons were near the size of the ship, and the large ones nearly ten times the size. He watched as the group of beasts...the herd...seemed to suspect something was amiss as they began to turn ponderously and sink towards the depths of higher pressure. This would of course avail them nothing, for the speed of the matalok would quickly overtake their ponderous movements, but the matalok could also take considerably more pressure. With a thought he designated a beldon that seemed to be higher and nearer the back of the herd, one about two kilometers in diameter or so, not too big he hoped.
The Matalok quickly descended upon its prey and arrest tentacles lashed out and reached around the creature and gripping it squeezing, and at times releasing in order to find a better grip. Weapons that might produce fire were strictly prohibited from being used. His warriors and pilots were made well aware of what could happen if fire might be applied to such beasts. As the matalok gained a grip the pilots bade the ship to rise and turn back, the creatures struggles were as nothing, even with its tentacles flailing as it was easily dragged away by the much more powerful ship.
It took some time to bring the creature back to the city. Its large bulk and the uncertain strengths of the creature...more its tissues in question, it would not do to tear the creature apart before the shapers had had a chance to examine its workings. Blast boulders with Shapers onboard were already taking surface samples and mapping genetics and specialties, particularly in the gasses being taken in and gasses being expelled. Genetic sequencing was already being studied at the initial level, in depth analysis would come later, but for now the Shapers would start adding this creatures secrets to their knowledge.
The matalok drifted over the city and gently started laying the creature out over the prepared area. Worms reached up and punctured the bulbous creature and began draining it of volatile gasses for safer storage as shapers and their apprentices began going over the creature in detail as the Matalok slowly lowered the creature unto the platform.
Twelve coralskippers descended into the atmosphere, eleven with their charges still struggling, and now screeching horribly. Esthh took time to watch as they were brought into the Matalok and placed in containment created by living membranes and dovin basal gravity fields. These creatures, simple as they seemed could reinvent the way the Vong fought...already he could see some initial observances, the dovin basals attempts to hold the creatures and how they were applying pressure without ever seeming to touch another surface...an in depth analysis would be quite interesting indeed…. He turned to the pilots.
“What word of the Purrgill?”
Radu faced his superior. “Nothing yet. The appropriate gas clouds were located but there has been no sightings of the creatures.”
Esthh nodded. “Very well. You have done well to bring me these specimens. Be vigilant for the Purrgill.”
Radu nodded and the rest of the pilots returned to their coralskippers and quickly lifted off, leaving the small army of business behind on the platform, and returned to space.

The head shaper on the project approached Esthh. “You have something to report?”
The shaper inclined his head. “I believe so sir. We now have a working knowledge of the creature as well as a base genetic specimen. I believe that we only need genetic samples of a number of others across the planet to get a taste of all the genetic variations that make up this species. As you know having a wide sample makes for a better genetic pattern for future use. To this I believe that the Matalok is no longer needed, and collection biots can be used and fixed to Yorik-et’s and they can be used to collide with the creatures and scrape genetic samples from them. Being particularly soft creatures there should be no risk to the Yorik-et’s involved, so long as they don’t fire on the animals with their Yaret-kors.”
Esthh nodded his head, pleased. “Good, that will speed up our time here. Make the necessary arrangements.” The shaper nodded and headed off to begin fitting the necessary biots to the coralskippers.
Esthh headed back to where the Grallocs were being examined and found an adept busily working away, but not the shaper in charge. He turned to study the specimens as the shaper in charge was summoned. Looking over the information it looked like this creature could be potentially one of the most important, strange that it could come from such a creature that was normally considered a vermin. Just then the shaper in charge arrived.
“You summoned me sir.”
“Your initial report on the specimens.”
“The creatures are a very near relative of the mynock which we are familiar with, however with the memories of the capture of them and the subsequent dissection, we have discovered that the creature has organs...organelles that mimic the infidels...the people of this galaxy’s thrusters in their ships. They accelerate particles and are able to create usable thrust to maneuver in the emptiness of space.”
“Can this organ be scaled up and made use of?”
The shaper nodded. “I believe so, their genetic cousins are well documented, and these near dozen are not too far off in genetic respects. It will take some time to work through a series of trials, but I believe this is simply a matter of time.”
Esthh nodded. “Good. In that case we will soon leave this system and go on to gather more specimens. Do we need any more of these Grallocs for the pattern?”
The shaper shook his head. “More would of course be useful but I believe they are not necessary.”
Outside the coralskippers slipped away, scattering across the planet on their mission for the shapers.

A subaltern came up to Esthh with a message from the squadrons in orbit. “Sir, squadron two says that they have located five Purgil on the out system side of the planet in a mix of gas clouds and asteroids. They have set up a screen on the out system side of the creatures, and squadron one is moving to assist in the screen.”
“Very good. Since the shapers no longer need us we shall detach the beldon and move the ship to capture some of these Purgil. How much we learn from them will be interesting. We must be careful not to scare them off and get ahead of ourselves. Get everyone onboard Subaltern, as soon as we capture a purgil or two and squadron three returns, we will be able to leave this system and move on to our next objective.”
“Sir.” The subaltern saluted and hurried off to relay the orders to their respective recipients. The Matalok became a hive of activity, this time in reverse of before as the shapers, their apprentices, and assisting warriors quickly dismantled their biot helpers from their location and moved them back into the Matalok that settled down to allow them to board. Once onboard the Matalok began its climb into space in search of its next target.
