It's been a few years since I've been on here, and given... gestures vaguely... I have the free time to jump back into writing.
I'm not sure what the current lay of the land is as far as who runs what, but I'm looking to make a splash. I'm interested in putting a shot across the bow of one of the larger factions to reintroduce myself to the galaxy. If anyone's not afraid to take a punch to the jaw and give one back, I'm interested.

Hi The Holy Man and welcome back to JvS! Always glad to see more returning players make their way back.
As for some of the larger factions that you're looking to make a splash in, we have a few that may interest you. We have the Blackguard Imperium on Mustafar and Iridonia as the Sith's domain, and there's the Jedi Order thriving on Felucia's Jedi Temple / Corellia's Jedi Academy. There's also the Dark Jedi Order on Ambria if you're looking for a darkside faction that isn't Sith. For another darkside faction, I also couldn't help but think of the Quarren Dominion with your tide references. As for one of the largest factions on JvS today, though, you have the First Order and their factions within.
Of course, those are just a few of the factions within modern-day JvS. I suppose the first question is, what type of larger faction would you see your character 'wandering'?

The really funny thing is, that you're character reminds me alot of my NPC Brother Eli. I am writing him on Muunilist, and he is a religious fanatic character I created to RP with Inquisitor Kryptman, if you ever had dealings with him on universe 1.5. He is planning on cleansing some xeno scum. If you believe in the God-emperor of mankind (palpatine) you are welcome to join him on Muunilist. |

Thanks to both of you for all the information. Out of all of this a couple things have piqued my interest, but I have to say the lead contender is the Dark Jedi Order. I had some dealings with them in their past iteration and at one point considered working to bring them back.
I've got a couple things planned, but if the Dark Jedi Order is looking for a fighter who will pretty much mow down anything in front of him, I'd definitely be interested in learning more.

Well, I'm not all that well informed about the previous version of the DJO that once existed. But myself and @mariahshadows/@aurranox run the faction these days. I am definitely in the same boat. Life and everything has had me out of pocket. I still happen and venture through on the Discord app but I have time and I will try to be back in the swing of things writing and enjoying how this Padawan of Devlin Dewe's fares now that things are different and what Ossus will look like now. (Yes, I took a look and found out another Praxeum bombing and rebuild. Still, I love Ossus. JediFTW) |
