Once Claw and Rex leave, Calin and his officers return to the gatehouse. "I can't even begin to imagine how that bunch made it through the kamino training..." "Yeah... How the kriffing fierfek do you run out of rations? Each one of their cruisers should have had three years rations for each person on board when they were issued, and they would have to be an... unheard of level of stupid to not have resupplied at least once during the war..."
As evening begins to approach, Calin and Jen enter the commanders quarters in the gatehouse. Jen removes her armor, and curls up on the bed, and goes to sleep as Calin turns off the lights. Calin quietly removes his armor, and sits down in the recliner. He leans back, and attempts to fall asleep. However, full sleep eludes him. Visions of a battlefield flash before his eyes. In a meadow, twelve warriors stand in a defensive circle, six male, six female. They bear ancient swords and shields, and wear plate mail armor. Their high winged helms flash in the sun, the evidence of a hard-fought battle strewn around them. Bodies clad in strange mail lie encircling, with gaping slashes from powerful blade strokes ripped through them. The design of the armor the warriors wear is tantalizingly familiar, and in his vision Calin looks closer at each figure. Two wear deep purple tabards over their silvery plates, the male warrior having an insignia of a golden crown centered on his chest, and the female bearing the insignia of a silver crown. The next two seem oddly familiar, but their winged helmets have lowered visors, and he cannot see either of the faces. Both the male and female of the pair have the same emblem blazoned on their pure white tabards; that of a scarlet cross. The next pair is not as identifiably recognizable as such, with the man bearing an massive shield, and wearing a crimson tabard with a white lightning bolt on it. The woman wears a lighter version of the armor, and stands towards the center of the group, a pair of daggers sheathed at her sides. The next pair stand close together, the man wielding twin swords, with the emblem of a blazing sword on his black tabard, and the woman bearing a shield and sword, with the insignia of a white horse on her dark green tabard. As Calin's eyes pass farther along, the next pair strikes an unexplained dread into him. The man stands with an unpleasant grin on his face, wielding a longsword and a dagger. His crimson tabard glitters, as if the raging dragon emblazoned on his tabard is setting it on fire. The woman wears the insignia of a skull an a black tabard over her light armor. She has a dagger sheathed at her waist, but her hands weave incantations to strike at the approaching foes. The woman of the final pair also stands in the center, wearing light armor with the insignia of a white tree on her black tabard. A sword hangs at her side, and a round shield on her back. Recognition dawns as Calin's gaze moves to the final man. Despite the winged helmet and the face beneath it, the black armor bearing a white tree insignia is instantly recognizable as that of Lord Gwydion Kyr'am. His vicious bastard sword is held in an offensive stance, and fire courses up and down the blade. As he circles the group in his vision again, they remove their helmets. For some reason, he feels he knows Gwydion's real face from some encounter prior to having this vision, as well as having that feeling about the first pair he had passed. He stops dead in shock as he passes the second pair however. He looks in shock at the face of the male soldier wearing the white tabard with the scarlet cross on it. In astonishment, he cannot help but staring into his own face, as the vision version of himself hugs the woman paired with him. She turns her face to look at the dreaming Calin, revealing Jen's face.
Calin wakes with a start, looking over at the bed where Jen is also sitting up, looking shaken. "You alright, Jen?" "I...I'm not sure. I just had a really weird dream. It was us, and Lord Death, and... others... I don't understand it." "I think I just had the same dream... Something told me I should go visit the Enclave here for an explanation."

As Claw and Rex return with the good news Master Kote approaches them. They immediately approach him to brief him on the situation. They make sure to turn off their comms."Claw, Rex how did the negotiations go with Calin?"Claw snaps into a quick salute then goes back into a comfortable position."It went very well. We have permission to gather some supplies from the abandoned spaceport.""I can't wait to eat some actual food for once!""I will be sending a juggernaut to receive it in the morning."Kote smiles at Claw in excitement for the new supply of food. Claw smiles from beneath his helmet. Claw turns his head and relizes the sun over dantooine is setting for the day."Excuse me Sir, today has been a hard day for me. Permission to retire for the night."Rex looks over at Claw then back at Kote. Kote nods in agreement and responds."Permission granted, you should get some well deserved rest."Claw takes off his helmet and smiles again."Thank you Sir."Claw returns to his tent to rest for the night while Rex and Kote are left outside. Rex looks at Kote and finally reveals what has been on his mind."Sir, something doesn't feel right about this."Kote looks over at Rex puzzled at his question."What do you mean Rex?"Rex sighs."I don't trust Calin and his men. Even Claw is hesitant with them, but unfortunatly his responsibility for his men made him blind to these dangers. The stress has took a number on him.""I agree with you Rex, Claw has seemed differently latley ever since the rations gotten low. There is much distress in him, I felt it."Rex continues his point. But that isn't what i'm concerned about. It seemd like they knew we were coming before we even started to walk over. They had a guy at the gate before we ariived and I have seen the hundreds of soldiers in sniper positions pointed towards us!"Kote doesn't appear shocked.I knew I felt something wrong with them, but I couldn't figure it out.""Sir may I send out the stealth unit to keep this situation secure, I want to see if they are hacking our systems. It's the only way they would know we were coming."Kote nods."Granted... just don't let Claw know about this.""Thank you Sir, I shall not disappoint."Rex nods in thanks then walks off to retrieve the stealth unit in the darkness already ready for action.

Calin heads to the base's primary command center. "Anything new from outside, Erik?" "They're starting to suspect we're monitoring their transmissions. The two commanders disabled their main comms to talk to their Jedi, but didn't take their helmets off for the conversation, so I was able to tap into their speakers. Commander Rex doesn't trust us, and is planning to send a stealth unit in to try to spy on us." Calin nods. "I'm not surprised. I'll have a unit ready to intercept them whenever they try to infiltrate." Calin rubs his chin, noting the stubble that has started to grow. "I trust you are taking appropriate measures to ensure that they cannot back-trace your taps into their comms network?" "Of course, boss. What kind of tech specialist would I be if I wasn't?" Calin laughs. "Probably one of theirs. Let me know when their infiltrators start to approach." Calin heads back to the gatehouse.

At the base, Major Calin has a squad prepare themselves to be deployed to the Jedi Enclave, and orders Charlie Company to keep an eye out for the infiltrators from the 999th. He and Jen mount a pair of speeder bikes, and speed off towards the Jedi Enclave. Captain Jessup takes over primary command of the base until Calin's return.

Rex reaches the men and after nodding to give them a nod to begin and without using words. Lieutenant Jaguar and his group of six stealth troopers move out. They make sure to be extra cautious of their surroundings to ovoid being detached. The slightest sound could make them be detected. They use their stealth field generators to turn them completely invisible as they dash toward the plains. As this occurs Rex gathers with hornet and the rest of the men who are not either sleeping or on duty. The men on duty keep a close eye on the base and lookout for any movement. Usually lately the only threat the men have been looking out for has been kinrath but now they serve as distractions so that the stealth unit would be able to move on undetected. As they continue on they duck into the kinrath cave. The second they duck into the cave system their helmets stop sending a frequency because the cave restricts the waves. Now that they are in an area that they can't be seen by scouts or radar they start to use their helmets. "Ok men, now that we are down here we need to make a break down the cave."The five other stealth units nod their heads in agreement and slowly start their way down the main tunnel."Sir any orders?"Jaguar looks over at his loyal soldiers and gives his first set of commands."Remember that tunnel in the kinrath operation we heard about, it lead to the back and mostly unguarded portion of the base. There we would be able to get enough information we need on this Death's Cohort to determine whether or not we need to take further precautions. We will be using this advantage point for recon."All in unison"Sir yes Sir."They stop and pause for a moment over over several kinrath corpses. Jaguar looks over at his troops and they look back knowing what has to be done next."Sir we should use this blood to disguise ourselves from the kinrath.""Exactly, we can also use it to disguise our heat signatures."They then cover themselves in kinrath blood to mask their sent and block out their heat signatures. After that they continue on. They pass right through a group of kinrath. As they look around all they see is kinrath surrounding them. One of the men bump into a kinrath and continues to move as the kinrath behind him attacks a different kinrath."Oh that was close..."

As the troopers enter the cave the caverns that stretch before them seem to shift out of the corners of their eyes. They pass what they believe to be resting Kinrath that pay them no mind, but some of them are starting to wonder if what they see is actually real. The Force flows strongly in these caves and if one is unaccustomed to the ways of the force they could get lost in these corridors for eternity... A voice seeks out Jaguar's mind and speaks to him, certainly he probably thinks it's some form of communications glitch, but the voice speaks anyway: "Lost you are, out you should go. Find you way, help you I can." The voice seems friendly enough and it's broken way of speaking makes it seem innocent as well. Once the men stop moving and realize they are disoriented the voice will manifest itself as a small green man (almost Yoda like) before speaking again. Jedi Master Warek Mychi I am, lost you are. Help you I can. Strong here is the Force, unwise of you to enter alone it was. Come now, a way out I will show." The Foce Ghost motions with his hands and the path the troops are on settle before them, leading them back out of the cave. "Wonder how I found you you do, answer one question I will."

Suddenly Jaguar and his men's vision is clouded and the exit has been hidden from them. Also hearing to strange mysterious voice he looks forward as the sight of a cloaked figure. His men step back and draw their weapons. Seeing as this man has just helped them, he motions for them to lower their weapons away from the mysterious man. He stares at the mysterious figure and follows his advice and follows to the exit. As he exits he can more clearly see the man who saved their lives. "As you said before. How did you find us and what happened in there?"Jaguar gets a headache and clenches his head for a moment. It disappears and he regains his strength. The men seem shaken up from the situation but remain on guard but in respect keep themselves unarmed.

"How found you, you ask? Easy to find those who are lost, for a Jedi Master it is. Even one dead, who is."
The image of Warek looks over the men, who have removed their helmets. Seeing they are clones he smiles as he remembers them from the Clone Wars. He knows they are not the ones that led the assault on the temple and therefore is willing to help them.
"Clones you are, remember you I do. Jedi Master Warek Mychi am I and safe now you are. A terrible darkness these caves hold, very dangerous for one without the force as his ally. Rest now, recover your strength. Guide you I will, but know why you went in I must."
Warek uses his force presence to help calm and relax the soldiers before him. Each one would feel the flow of the force around them and the peace that comes from it.
"A question you have, answer it I will, but only one will you get. Time to be off, soon it will be."

Jaguar and his men look around and in a sense of both respect and one of fear they remain on complete guard. With remaining on edge a flow a force goes through and suddenly they all experience a presence of peace given by the force. After hearing the mysterious figure is or once was a Jedi Master the men snap into attention and kneel in respect before the force being."General I did not realize it at first but you are a Jedi, and I served the republic under the command of the Jedi. Thank you for saving us General Warek Mychi."Jaguar looks up at the man in front of him."I have one question. What is our purpose now, what do we have left to live for. We were created to serve under the republic and the Jedi and now the republic is in ruins and the Jedi are scatted. Do we have a purpose and a reason for our existence or were we meant to die along with our other brothers."

While lieutenant Jaguar is is at the kInrath caves Rex is worried about what may have happened to them. There has been no response by his men and he is getting desperate. "Where can they be possibly be? It's been a while since they have been sent out."Rex looks around and then sees a group of clones sitting around a campfire telling war stories and having a good time. He decides to walk over and remain there till he either hears word from the stealth ops team or till morning. Claw still remains in his tent and is taking a well deserved rest after practically saving his men from starvation and can sleep in peace knowing he has done his job. After a fairly short night the sun starts to rise in the east and it shines over the fields and plains bringing new life to it all. Kote awakes first and steps outside to see the sunrise. He had just finished meditating and he steps outside to head over to see if Claw has awoken yet.

When the holo transmissions reach the "Imperial Outpost" Claw and Rex respond. "What is the matter Admiral?... Your alarms are blasting in the background, have the Yuzang Vong returned?" "Multiple Hyperspace Jump Exits have been detected through out orbit and have landed on the planet, there where abouts are unknown as of now but we believe that they may be relatively close to your current location. A look of concern appears on Claws face and a look of anticipation on Rex's. They look at each other and nod in agreement with Correc. "Well then "Admiral" what do you suppose we do?" Captain (Admiral) Correc laughs to himself at Rex's witty comment and responds with a sarcastic response. "You do your job "commander"." Claw holds Rex back as Claw begins to speak. "I'll get a hold of all our men in the area and return them to base to fortify the Imperial Outpost, I'm sure Death's Cohort won't mind as we are practically their meat shields anyway and as long as we keep all defensive guns faced outwards we shouldn't have any problems. Claw motions for his officers to come and debriefs them on the situation. "I'll keep all our resources on getting any information about them and where they are. Sit tight and dig in till you find out who these people are." Correc nods as the holo-projector makes his figure disappear and he returns to his duties on the bridge. Claw orders his men to set up defenses and puts himself in charge of the preparations for the operation. Rex is put in charge of the scouting parties to locate and monitor these "factions" uprising on the planet.

Kortos and the pair of Alliance Scouts sped across the Dantooine terrain, wind whipping at them as they raced past farm after farm, passing through a village or two on occasion, as they headed for the last known locations of the Dark Troopers. By the time they arrived, all they found was the path of destruction that had been left in the Dark Troopers wake. Bodies littered the ground, homes burned to the ground, and emergency responder vehicles having been tossed about. The Kiffar dismounted his bike, before making his way over to a discarded blaster pistol that someone had used, and picked it up, focusing within the force upon it. Several images flashed through his mind, jumbled together, but with enough clarity for Kortos to confirm that the Dark Troopers were behind this "To the imperial outpost, now!" Kortos mounted back up on his swoop bike, and speed off ahead, the scouts pushing their bikes to keep up with their Jedi compatriot. As they followed the path the Imperial forces had taken to the outpost, one would thing an entire army had been through, the sheer level of destruction beyond belief. Scared citizens tried calling for their help as the swoop bikes went by, by Kortos knew he could not afford to spend time giving them aide, instead making a marker of their location, which was relayed back to the Dantooine Enclave. As they closed in upon the outpost, they slowed their pace down, before bringing their bikes to a halt atop a hillside that gave them a good view across to the building. Even from where they were, Kortos could tell the enemy force was fairly significant as far as advance parties went. One of the scouts pulled out a pair of electro binoculars, which started transmitting the video feed back to the Enclave, showing the presence of nearly 100 Dark Troopers, walking patrols in and around the outpost. The Kiffar Jedi Knights attention was soon drawn to the sky, before he pushed the Alliance scouts into a flat position, as hundreds of TIE fighters and Imperial Dropships of an unfamiliar design to Kortos, filled the sky above, making their way to the surface "oh, we're gunna need some back up..." Kortos then pressed the activator for his ear comm link, before the voice of the female Alliance commander came through loud and clear Planetary sensor scans just picked up the arrival of a massive Imperial Fleet entering orbit. You need to get out of there asap! He rolled his eyes, this day was off to a brilliant start. Just as he is about to start scouting Imperial space, Imperial space comes to him "yeah, you don't say. Contact Felucia, we're gunna need some help if we want any hope of saving Dantooine... Or evacuating as many civilians as possible..."

"yeah, you don't say. Contact Felucia, we're gunna need some help if we want any hope of saving Dantooine... Or evacuating as many civilians as possible..." What happened next seem to be a blur. The robotic sensors, implanted within the Dark Troopers, picked up the oncoming speeders miles away, allowing for a pair to quickly make their way for a spot to ambush them. True, Dark Troopers would be hard to hide, but seeing as the scouts were more focused upon the Imperial Outpost and only just looked up to see the approaching dropships and starfighters, they held the upper hand for just that split second. What notified the scouts and Kortos that something was up was the roaring ignition of jump packs...
The first scout barely had a chance to do anything as a lumbering Phase III Dark Trooper landed right ontop of the Alliance personnel, crushing him and his speederbike like they were paper beneath the immense weight of the robotic monstrosity. It was a sickening thud as tons of metal crashed down, ending the quick surprised response by the biker in question swiftly and efficiently. The second shadow that fell short of Kortos and the second surviving scout was a smaller, but still just as a deadly, Phase II Trooper. The smaller Dark Trooper revealed its assault cannon and pointed the weapon directly at the Jedi and scout. A click was heard as the assault cannon activated. A robotic voice was heard from the Phase II; it was cold and merciless.Exterminate all interlopers.

*The Imperial Outpost of Dantooine... not the largest of establishments, but it would serve decently as a starting point for the campaign on the planet. Dantooine was a relatively undefended world, boasting little military and only a few Jedi. The Outpost would serve their needs nicely.
Among the dropships descending from orbit were those originating from Soku's cruisers, heading straight for the Imperial Outpost to further secure the area and launch an offensive front. At the head were the Knights of Ren, Soku and Derel, and the stormtrooper captain, Daniel Arin, a man who had given years of service to the First Order, and a man who had personally trained with Soku Ren in the art of combat. He was a formidable ally, one more than suitable to command Soku's own personal unit. Today, his skills would truly be put to use, along with those of the Knights.
The dropships touched down outside of the outpost, near where other First Order units were disembarking and awaiting orders. As the ramp of Soku's dropship lowered, he, the Rodian Derel Ren, and Captain Arin marched down the ramp, members of Thriesa Company following in orderly fashion. It did not take long for Soku to spot the man in charge of securing the outpost, General Artemis Delvardus, brother of none other than the Supreme Commander himself. Soku trusted that to mean that he, much like Nicademus, brought honor to the name. If not... well, Soku would worry about that later.*
"General Artemis," *he called out as he approached the man.* "Soku Ren of the Knights of Ren. How may myself, Derel Ren, and Thriesa Company aid you?"

It all happened in an instant, as the jump packs activated first, before the Darktroopers leapt through the air. Had they been any other droids, Kortos would have drawn his sabers and cut them down to size. But the Kiffar Jedi Knight knew that these droids sported armour a lot stronger than anything his sabers could cut through easily. As the first scout was crushed beneath the Phase III Darkt Trooper, making a blood curdling crunch as flesh and bone were crushed between two metallic objects. Kortos and the second scout revved their speeder bike engines and were starting to spin around to make their escape, as the Phase II landed. The pair of Swoop bikes started to take off, before the laser fire filled the air around them, the shots barely missing Kortos by the skin of his teeth. However, the other scout was not so lucky as blaster bolts burst forth from his chest, causing the man to lose control of the bike, which hit a tree and exploded. He knew he couldn't look back, as he gunned the engine for all that it was worth, putting as much distance with as much speed as he could, between him and the Outpost. He could already hear the sound of more ships descending down from orbit. The Imperials had certainly arrived in force, signalling the first conflict between the Imperials and the soon to be revealed Alliance

Feeling immensely relieved when, after her Lartie sets down after making the drop from orbit and reaching the Imperial Outpost unmolested, she drops from the deckplate and has the ground beneath her feet, Nicolina motions for the rest of her platoon to disembark as she tells SSG Solberg, who, just like clock-work, is the second one to get boots on the ground once the Lartie touches down, Have Achari's squad set up a perimeter around our LZ, then tell Gerou and Grahn to get eyes out so they can spot anything or anyone heading towards the outpost. The troops already present will, Nicolina knows, have their own observers set up, but it never hurts to have more eyes watching out, and Gerou and Grahn are some of the best scouts and forward observers she has ever worked with.
As Solberg salutes and then heads off to carry out her orders, Nicolina spots Faina and the other Imperial Knights, motioning for them to come over as she tells Nirav 74, Report in to General Artemis, find out what our orders are. As her platoon's comms operator notifies the General of the arrival of Nicolina's Shadotrooper platoon and the commando squads accompanying them, Nicolina asks Faina, Will you be sticking with us, or do you have your own assignment?

The Imperials had certainly arrived in force, signalling the first conflict between the Imperials and the soon to be revealed Alliance As the Jedi fled the scene with assault cannon fire tearing up the ground as his speeder flew away, more shadows could be seen overhead. If Kortos looked up, he would see swarms of bombers suspended in the air like wings of death. They flew off, taking orders from their unnamed and unseen commanders. At the right altitude, the squadrons would position themselves for bombing runs; objectives were simple, wreak havoc. The first of these runs could be seen by the Jedi nearby as a large field, inhabited by grazing domesticated animals, was engulfed in flames and high-powered explosives. All sorts of ordinances were dropped from the hulls of the bombers, scarring the paradise that was Dantooine. Even if they could not gain victory here, their orders to make an example out of Dantooine and to scare the galaxy into submission by any means possible. Nicademus wanted to demoralize the people and scare them; scarring their utopia would be more effective than outright slaughter of civilians.
As Kortos flew off for the Jedi Enclave, a few squadrons of bombers soared overhead, taking the same route he was for the Jedi complex. The pilots turned on their targeting systems as they drew closer and closer to the Jedi Order's outpost..."General Artemis," *he called out as he approached the man.* "Soku Ren of the Knights of Ren. How may myself, Derel Ren, and Thriesa Company aid you?" General Artemis Delvardus, brother of the Supreme Commander and designated as the overall commanding officer of the First Order's ground forces, arrived shortly after the departure of the Jedi Kortos. The Dark Troopers that had killed the scouts and made the Jedi flee had made their reports as his gunship landed through a transmission. It did not bother the General much as Imperial Intelligence had noted the lack of a military presence on the planet and ensured that only a few seasoned units would be present, left by the now defunct Republic, while the rest were militia. He hoped for a swift and decisive campaign.
He oversaw the various armored divisions that were being disembarked and began to review reports of what units were at his disposal. Word would come moments later that the Supreme Commander was deployed a further twenty thousand soldiers to the surface, all units of the second wave. It would give a substantial force for the General to command and utilize for the initial stages of the campaign. As he began to draw up plans of advancement towards the major objectives of Garang and the Jedi Enclave, Artemis was interrupted by the arrival of Soku and Derel Ren, members of the dark side organization, the Knights of Ren. The Imperial did not trust these dark siders, as one of them had seduced his own brother. Nonetheless, they were to be deployed in this war and would be fighting alongside his forces, making the General be forced to cooperate. My Lord Rens, I did not expect your arrival so soon. I thought you would have arrived abroad the Resurgence when the reinforcements arrived. Whatever your reasons, I suspect they are the desire for glory and battle nonetheless. I think I could use your forces for one of our major offensives towards the Jedi Enclave, allowing me to take command of the forces that will move towards Garang to secure the spaceport.
