*Soku nodded as the general expressed his belief that no Knights of Ren had planned on arriving until the second wave, though his suggested reasoning that they did so was a little too... simple-minded. Glory? Yes, but not for himself.* "For the First Order," *he corrected.* "And for order itself. We are the Sword of the Imperial. It is our duty to strike, and so we have come to land an early blow on our opponent. Just wield us us properly."
"What he's saying is, just point us in the right direction and tell us when," *the Rodian interrupted, cutting over Soku's attempt at poetry.
Soku, grimaced, seeming insulted at Derel's rather simple rundown, but nevertheless nodded.* "Indeed."
*As he waited for the general's response, the touch from orbit brushed against his mind and his eyes turned slightly skyward, looking past the descending transports, into the stars, at the specks that were the First Order's fleet. Illaria... her meditation had begun. And she was watching over them. Battle meditation was a useful skill that Soku would never dismiss the advantages of, though in that moment he almost desired her presence as part of the ground engagement. Yet, he could not say it was merely for her combat skills...
No. They all had their parts to play, in this, their grand debut. The mission must remain as planned.*

* A black Upsilon class shuttle lands inside the Imperial Outpost. Aeryn raises his hood over his head as the boarding ramp lowers, walking down to the surface below, Aeryn waves for the pilot to leave. The shuttles thrusters fire back up as the ship takes back to the sky and into orbit within the First Order fleet.
Walking forward Aeryn is met by a storm trooper captain who directs him to the General. After a few minutes Aeryn finds the General who is currently meeting a few members or the Knights of Ren. Though Aeryn did not enjoy the thought of working with them the purpose of the First Order out weighed his own personal feelings.ogi
Stepping forward Aeryn announces his presence to the general and the Knights of Ren. The Imperial Knight stands relaxed in his black armor and lowers his hood. *
" I apologize for the interruption General, Imperial Knight Aeryn Morningstar reporting "

"And for order itself. We are the Sword of the Imperial. It is our duty to strike, and so we have come to land an early blow on our opponent. Just wield us us properly." And wielding you properly is what I have been instructed to do. The Supreme Commander feels it best that the Knights of Ren join the Imperial forces that shall move upon the Jedi Enclave. The Imperial Knights will be attached to my own forces, that shall aim for Garang.Upon the holomap, the General designates the two targets, which were the main objectives to the Imperial campaign to take over Dantooine. Resistance, according to Imperial Intelligence, would be minimal as few units existed prior to the downfall of the Republic. Whatever else could be mustered would be militia; farmers armed with poor rifles and equipment. Estimations would be a swift and decisive victory for the First Order. The directives were already being given as the General spoke.
Compared to the Supreme Commander, who was more accepting towards revolutionary styles of warfare, Artemis was a by-the-book Imperial commander; he was a traditionalist and obeyed the long-standing, and effective, military tactics that dated back to the first Galactic Empire. Heavy artillery fire and/or wave after wave of bombers to soften the enemy, followed by a charge by the armored divisions, supported by the infantry. It was effective and had served its purposes for many generations now.Bombers have been deployed to soften up Garang and the Enclave for our arrival, Soku Ren. I should be getting the reports soon.As if by coincidence, a communication came in from the two Imperial bomber wings sent to bombard the designated targets. General Artemis brings up the reports from both wing commanders, examining it calmly. It seems both wing commanders reported the presence of localized shields that were already energized and prevented the bombing runs. Both wings also noted the destruction of several craft from both of their commands, forcing them to break away and retreat to a safe distance. He nods to a communications officer.Report back to the Supreme Commander. It seems the targets have shields over their locations... we can't hit them with those in place. I will have to see if we can move our forces and begin the assault without air support. Ready the divisions to march!" I apologize for the interruption General, Imperial Knight Aeryn Morningstar reporting " Artemis turns his gaze to Morningstar, one of the Imperial Knights who came along with the First Order's troops. All Imperial Knights are assigned to my personal command, Aeryn. The Knights of Ren will deal with the Jedi Enclave.

As Solberg salutes and then heads off to carry out her orders, Nicolina spots Faina and the other Imperial Knights, motioning for them to come over as she tells Nirav 74, Report in to General Artemis, find out what our orders are. As her platoon's comms operator notifies the General of the arrival of Nicolina's Shadotrooper platoon and the commando squads accompanying them, Nicolina asks Faina, Will you be sticking with us, or do you have your own assignment? "Depends on your orders, Faina says somewhat distractedly, her eyes narrowing as she senses the light touch of another's mind as it passes over hers and, if she is not mistaken, those of the rest of the Imperial forces as well. We've been assigned to General Artemis' command," Faina explains, her nose crinkling in distaste as, within her mind, she senses the darkness of the mind that had briefly touched hers, and feels the things she has buried within the depths of her mind stirring in response to the lingering heat that even so gentle, benign, and brief glancing touch of so dark a mind has left eddying and bobbing in the ripples of her thoughts.
Turning to Arturo, a twenty-eight year old Lorrdian Imperial Knight that Faina has worked with many times in the past, Faina says, "Let the General know we're here, and that we're awaiting his orders," her eyes searching his for some hint as to whether she is alone in having been disturbed by the mind that she felt sweeping though those of the Imperial forces. Arturo nods, apparently un-phased by what had happened, and turns to find Artemis, leaving Faina with the disquieting feeling that she is the only one among her fellow Imperial Knights to have felt the touch of the mind, or to have been disturbed by the darkness she felt within it. Reaching up to rub her temple, Faina wonders if she was able to sense the darkness of the mind where Arturo apparently did not because she has been so tainted by allowing doubts and fears to fester within her about her purpose, the nature of the First Order and its mission now that it has allied with itself so intimately with those that serve the Darkside, or so changed by her willingness to surrender to the comparative simplicity of combat in order to avoid facing those doubts and fears that she has been left with a darkness within her that recognizes and responds to the darkness of the mind that had touched hers.
Clenching her fists at her sides as she turns to watch Arturo approaching the General and sees the Knight of Ren that is present and an unwelcome reminder of those that she now fights with given Nicademus' willingness to accept them for the power they can bring to his cause because he believes he can control them and their power, Faina, who wants to believe that Nicademus is right so much that she ignores everything in her that screams that she is failing her sworn duty to protect Nicademus from the Darkside, wills herself to focus on the mission she will soon have, and the respite from her doubts and fears it will offer, no matter how temporary it will assuredly be.
Arturo, reaching Artemis, salutes when an opportunity to address the General presents itself, and says, "General Artemis. I'm Imperial Knight Macari, he gestures towards where Faina is speaking with the Shadowtrooper commander, here with Knights Nikulin, Genchi, and Ehawee. What are our orders, General?"

Accustomed to having her attention divided given that her role all but demands it, Nicolina has little difficulty with paying attention to Faina's response to her question while also keeping up with the reports from her forward observers that are being fed into her helmet's internal comms on her platoon's designated frequency. What does distract Nicolina slightly is the sensation she has of being connected briefly with something greater than herself, something that makes her feel both as though she is being watched over by some benevolent, powerful presence she cannot see but somehow knows is out there, and as though she is linked with her fellow soldiers here on Dantooine and above it through the powers of the presence. It is a heady, enlivening feeling that Nicolina, even after the feeling of being somehow entwined with the presence passes, cannot forget and she feels a curious certainty that the experience was not imagined, and that there really is some kind of force that will be with her and all of the First Order here today as they bring order to Dantooine.
Her puzzled expression as she sees the sense of distaste and unease in Faina's gaze is hidden beneath her helmet, and though she is concerned about the Imperial Knight given that the woman has looked changed by whatever she has been through since they first met, Nicolina knows that now is not the time for any kind of touchy feely talk of feelings or to entertain any other distractions from their duty here, and so she hits the Imperial Knight companionably on the shoulder and says, Well, we're under the General's command too, so maybe we'll get to work together again like we did on Nirauan.
PV2 Nirav 74, joining the others waiting to speak with General Artemis, waits until his turn to speak arrive and then salutes while explaining, General, sir! Commander Foresi of the Imperial Security Bureau Special Forces Division has sent me to inform you that she and her troops have arrived and are awaiting your orders, sir!

*Derel Ren, the hooded Rodian standing by Soku's side, looked toward the approaching Imperial Knights beneath the rim of his hood, regarding them with a small sneer. Their distrust of the Knights of Ren was very visible, whether it be through their body language or the Force, and it amused him; they were like lapdogs, fearful some new pet would usurp their master's position as the new favorites.
But the Imperial Knights were only that: Pets. The Knights of Ren were much more.
Soku, however, paid them no mind; whatever their beliefs, whatever their feelings, all of them had chosen to cast their lots together for the sake of one cause. Truly, this alone was a testament to the resolve of the First Order in his mind, that all involved could set aside their personal feelings and work towards a better, stronger future for the galaxy. That was all he could ask.
Despite that, it would likely be for the better that the Imperial Knights and the Knights of Ren were separated during this invasion, striking at different targets, unable to get in each other's ways.
General Artemis awaited the reports from the bombing run, which came in promptly. As it would turn out, the Enclave had been shielded, requiring a more direct approach. Soku nodded.* "Very well. If that is how they have chosen their fate..." *He nodded to the stormtrooper captain beside him, the latter turning towards his men.*
"Thriesa Company!" *he called out.* "It is this day we have prepared for! The day we weed out dissidents in the garden of glory, the day we bring sweeping change to the galaxy! We've signed yourselves, all of us, to the will of order, and we will give our all to instill order, no matter to the cost! For the First Order!"
*His men gave a salute even as the two Knights of Ren marched to the forefront of the company, preparing to lead them toward the Enclave along with their captain, Soku smiling to himself under his hood. Order they would bring... and swiftly.*

* Aeryn listens to the the report from the General and nods as he is given his orders. With the Knights of Ren attacking the Enclave, and the Imperial Knights assisting with the assault on Garang, the jedi defenders would be forced to split themselves up in order to defend the two points. Though they aligned themselves with a different code, Aeryn's view on battle is similar to the Knights of Ren. Without air support and artillery because of the energy shields, expecting high casualties from the initial assault but once they can gain a foot hold their would be no stopping the full might of the First Order.
Aeryn watches as the Knights of Ren leave with their forces and head towards their mission. Turning Back to the General *
" Understood sir... "
* Before he could continue Aeryn feels the presence of other Knights as they come and report in. Taking a step to the side so that Aeryn was now standing just behind the General on his right. Looking at the other Imperial Knights, Aern nods to them and cant help to have but a slight grin. He was glad that other Knights had arrived not only for the sake of not having to fight without his brothers and sisters but also to show the rest of the First Order that the Imperial Knights had not been replaced or forgotten and that they where still a force to reckoned with.*

PV2 Nirav 74, joining the others waiting to speak with General Artemis, waits until his turn to speak arrive and then salutes while explaining, General, sir! Commander Foresi of the Imperial Attention from the General was turned to Commander Foresi's division. He had known them less than his brother, the Supreme Commander. However, Artemis had been advised by his brother of their experience, discipline and being a worthy asset within the Imperial Army. It was the reason for their veterancy that they were attached to the Imperial Security Bureau to train the ISB's own corp of Stormtroopers.Your division will be assigned to the Imperial forces attacking Garang. I just got word that the Jedi Enclave has been softened up with the shield suddenly dissipating. I will need your troops at Garang to help get rid of the shield protecting that settlement from our bombers.Arturo, reaching Artemis, salutes when an opportunity to address the General presents itself, and says, "General Artemis. I'm Imperial Knight Macari, he gestures towards where Faina is speaking with the Shadowtrooper commander, here with Knights Nikulin, Genchi, and Ehawee. What are our orders, General?" Artemis turned his attention to the Imperial Knight, Faina Nikulin. He points in the direction of his personal forces. You are to join my forces with the rest of your fellow Knights in attacking Garang.=================================== With more than forty thousand soldiers landed, the soldiers were attached to their new command structures as three army groups were formed as per orders. General Artemis took command of Army Group A, which was composed of some fifteen thousand soldiers and a number of armored divisions. Their objective was Garang. Army Group B, commanded by a notable Imperial general, took ten thousand soldiers and the Knights of Ren on planet to move towards the recently bombed Jedi Enclave and deal with the Jedi present on the world. Finally, Army Group C, comprised of five thousand soldiers, would hold the Imperial Outpost as a designated Reserve formation for the time being.
As they spoke, more bomber squadrons made for the Jedi Enclave while the designated squadrons for Garang held their position by bombing the area around the city, aiming to demoralize the enemy within the planetary shield's limits.

* Aeryn sinks his personal wristcomm to the Imperial Data system and downloads all the information on the attack, with that any new reports or information would be automatically sent to his wristcomm. Once Aeryn had the logistics taken care of, it was time he took to the front to get a first hand look at Garang and what the battle was to be. Giving a curt nod to the General and the other Knights, Aeryn speaks to the General before departing *
" I will take a small detachment of troopers to the outer perimeter of Garang, at the very least we can begin recon before the main forces arrive."
* Aeryn walks away from the command post and heads over to the landing area within the outpost. After securing a TIE/lander and a small company of 120 troopers comprised of mostly of scout troopers and communication troopers. Aeryn and his small detachment head for the outskirts of Garang*

You are to join my forces with the rest of your fellow Knights in attacking Garang. "Very good sir," Arturo says, bowing at the waist afterwards before turning to leave and inform his fellow Imperial Knights of the General's orders. Noticing the nod that another Imperial Knight he recognizes as Aeryn Morningstar from a previous mission briefing both were present for, Arturo grins and offers Morningstar a two-fingered salute before jogging off towards where Faina and the others are speaking with the Shadowtrooper's commading officer.
Nodding after Arturo has made his report, Faina looks over at Nicolina and says, "Looks like we're working together again. Think you can give us a lift?" While she looks just as stoic and serious as ever outwardly, Faina is more than a little relieved that they will not only be working with the Shadowtroopers rather than the Knights of Ren, but also that they will not be involved in the attack on the Jedi Enclave. The Jedi, in Faina's mind, while certainly guilty of often lacking the resolve to do all that they are able to do, or to intervene violently when necessary, are still aligned with the Light, and it would feel wrong to seek their deaths. Faina also knows, however, that she may have to fight Jedi all the same; for they will undoubtedly seek to defend Garang as well as their own enclave. In that instance, though she will not like it, Faina is resolved that she will not hesitate or falter; if the Jedi choose to stand in the way of Order, they invite Chaos, and as they would no longer be serving the Light, they would be Faina's enemy.
Or that is what she tells herself in order to continue serving the Order of Imperial Knights even though, deep down and in shadowed corners of her mind that she does not willingly venture into, she is no longer sure that it, or she, still serves the Light.

Your division will be assigned to the Imperial forces attacking Garang. I just got word that the Jedi Enclave has been softened up with the shield suddenly dissipating. I will need your troops at Garang to help get rid of the shield protecting that settlement from our bombers. Saluting crisply once the orders have been issued, PV2 Nirav 74 turns smartly on his heel and returns to where Nicolina is waiting, informing her of Delvardus' orders once he has her attention and then standing by in case she has need of him.
Nicolina nods, then tells the Khommite, Give the order to board the Larties, I want us in the air and bound for Garang in five. Nodding after Arturo has made his report, Faina looks over at Nicolina and says, "Looks like we're working together again. Think you can give us a lift?" Turning her helmeted gaze towards the Imperial Knight, Nicolina grins unseen beneath the armored helm and nods as she says, I think we can find some space to jam you and your buddies in, sure. After considering which of the LAAT/i's to send the Knights to, Nicolina points towards the one she herself will be traveling in, Tell your people to board that Lartie there. I'll be there shortly, we'll talk strategy on the way.
Waiting until all of her people are onboard their gunships to board herself, Nicolina issues the order to set out as she pulls herself inside, and then looks for Nikulin, heading towards the Imperial Knight after spotting her. Once she has reached the Knight's side, Nicolina asks, So, any thoughts on how we can locate and disable that shield?

* An encrypted transmission is sent from Aeryn to Faina. Using Imperial Knight security codes, the message was sent just before Aeryn disabled his comlink*
:: Faina I am making way inside Garang, I will get those shields down for the assualt ::
* A lone TIE/Shuttle lands inside the Imperial outpost. The storm troopers the exits the craft are from Aeryn's scout unit, but the Imperial Knight is not seen disembarking the vessel with his men. Storm Trooper Captain Zorn sends his men to re-equip and get a few hours rest, turning on his heel he walks up to Imperial Knight Nikulin. The Captain gives a curt salute to the Imperial Knight then removes his helmet*
" Sorry to interrupt ma'am, Commander Morningstar instructed to me give you are field report once we landed "
* Captain Zorn hands Faina a data pad containing all the intel that they had acquired while on their recon mission to Garang *
" Against my judgement, Commander Morningstar has taken it upon himself to gain entry into Garang. He plans to turn off their defensive shields from the inside and as he put cause a bit of confusion for the rebels inside. From what we can tell most of the enemy defenses are fortified at the center of Garang, with few patrols outside their perimeter. Its going to be a close quarters building to building, door to door fight. But we have the resources and the numbers, we should be able to take Garang without to much trouble"
* The Captain again salutes then walks over to join his men *

Motioning for Arturo and her fellow Imperial Knights to board the Shadowtrooper's Laat gunship when Nicolina agrees to link their forces together for the assault in Garang, Faina pauses before, after nodding to Nicolina to indicate her understanding of the plan thusfar, beginning to move towards the indicated Laat. Pausing when she receives the encrypted transmission from Aeryn; unable to reply to him as the transmission is terminated after his brief message to her has been given.
Turning as she hears the approach of a familiar looking TIE/shuttle, Faina shakes her head when Captain Zorn, after disembarking from the shuttle, approaches and informs her that he has a field report for her, having been instructed to deliver it to her from none other than Aeryn himself. Returning the salute, Faina says with her usual dry, flat inflection, "Thank you, Captain. Proceed."
Nodding after listening attentively to Captain Zorn's report and accepting the datapad he holds out to her, Faina returns his salute, telling him, "Good work, Captain, and offering him a nod of thanks before he departs to return to his troops. Scanning the intel contained on the datapad briefly as she boards the Laat, Faina looks up from it when Nicolina rejoins her, offering the rare suggestion of a smile as she tells the Shadowtrooper Commander confidently, One of my fellow Imperial Knights will take care of the shield. We just need to make sure that we are in position and ready when he does. I suggest we move to a point outside the city, prepare to deploy quickly when the shield is down."

* The Errant Fire lands at the Imperial Outpost. After a few moments the boarding ramp extends outwards and touches the ground below. Out of the Ship come Four black robed and figures who wait patiently at the end of the ramp. Then he emerges, His black robe billowing in the wind. Lowering his hood Thrakk looks at the Imperial Forces staged at the outpost. Walking forward, the four black robed figures follow him in silence.
Once a few meters from the ship a storm trooper captain approaches and salutes Thrakk*
"My Lord your arrival was not expected nor did we receive any notices of your arrival. My apologies for not having an escort prepared"
*Thrakk looks at the trooper *
"I have no need of an Escort Captain, but my presence alone should warrant your concern. Take me to General Delvardus at once"
* The Storm Trooper Captain ends his Salute and turns on his heel, Thrakk follows him to the Command Center where the General is seen going over various reports. Thrakk enters the Command Center with his four men standing outside the entrance stopping any others from entry*

"General....I cannot say that I am pleased with the progress of our campaign here on Dantooine" Artemis looks up at the sight and words of Thrakk Valinor. He had known this man was a member of Military Intelligence, yet wasn't aware of his status as the Supreme Commander's Hand. He looks down at the maps, examining them quietly for now before speaking. This is the largest campaign since the Unknown Regions. The farmers are tenacious, but we have managed to advance within the vicinity of the Jedi Enclave and Garang. If both can be taken, this battle will be over and Dantooine will be ours. Its just a matter of setting the pieces right.

* Thrakks eyes move across the maps and charts that the General had before him as he walked around the command table. From what the reports showed, the First order did have the majority of the planet and its populace under control but they where still meeting resistance in the places that the General had informed him about. * Syn is kicked in the back as the exit ramp of the troop shuttle opens. Bracing himself the best he can, he lands on the ground and feels the wind get knocked out of him. As he begins to stand, a storm trooper grabs the shackles around his wrist and drags him over to a make shift detention center. Synar is thrown into the cell and the gate closes behind him. Sitting up the young jedi looks around, he was alone and the feeling of failure begins to seep into him. *

* The supply shuttle lands and Aeryn exits the vessel, he makes his way through the Imperial out post when the Force calls out to him. Following the feeling, he comes up to the prisoner holding area. Looking at the battered men and woman being held their, Aeryn sees a familiar face. It was his old friend Synar Blackfyre, motioning for one of the storm troopers to come forward, Aeryn instructs him to bring Synar forward. When the trooper asks why, Aeryn tells him that he is a priority level prisoner and he was to take him back to Muunilist immediately. After giving the needed security codes, Synar is taken out of the holding cell and Aeryn leads him away.
Finding a quite place to talk Aeryn tells him of his sister and that he was getting him off planet. Aeryn with Synar in tow go to the main landing area, commandeering an Imperial Shuttle the pair take off and head toward space. *

Ever since the diplomatic annexation of Dantooine, a steady flow of material and troops was arriving to fully garrison and occupy the world of Dantooine. The garrison soldiers and officers had even seen members of Imperial Intelligence mingling among their ranks in addition to the presence of special operation troopers and ISB Stormtroopers. 'The Spooks,' they were called for their typical operations and the reason behind their presence on Danootine; to bring order and security to the planet by any means possible. It was only a certain amount of time before Dantooine truly submitted. There had been some incidents here and there due to the Sack of Dantooine at the beginning of the war. The Stormtroopers worked hard to keep order and arrests were made almost daily it seemed.

Seshrin paused momentarily at the bottom of the XI shuttle ramp and brushed his hands in an attempt to smooth out any creases in his crisp grey uniform, he straightened the bars on his uniform indicating his rank as Captain and then ran a hand through his hair. It was rare indeed that he got to wear military dress, usually he was out in the field in the standard plasteel white uniform commanding his troops. This was a far cry from rank and file duties, not that it was rare he was called to report, Seshrin had led thus far a promising career in the first order army. He had proven he was proficient, intelligent, a good strategist and a Captain who could think on his feet. He was usually making such battlefield reports from the field or a comment room with the other gathered Commanders and personnel. So to be summoned to Dantooine was certainly out of the ordinary from where he was usually stationed, yet a life of an Officer was to obey and so he had.
He found himself in a grey hangar illuminated with harsh overhead lighting. As Imperial hangars went this one was rather Spartan and less busy to what he was accustomed, the ship's he did spot were unorthodox craft usually reserved for specialised units.
His polished boots began to click as he made his way across the gleaming floor down a corridor and passed the security to enter the intelligence division. If he were entirely honest he didn't know an awful lot about Imperial intelligence, he knew they existed and that they worked in smaller units or even solo and were sent in to achieve jobs no other units could. They had specialised tactics, weaponry and acted under a veil of secrecy to a large extent, because apart from knowing their existence it was difficult to find logs of their missions they had been instrumental in.
Seshrin paused outside the door of the personal office of Merrik Piet, the Commander in charge of Imperial intelligence, then entered assuming to be engaged in conversation concerning his unit and a special opperation.
He paused, clicked his heels and saluted the stark figure sat behind the desk. Unlike Seshrin, Commander Piett wore a black ensemble of Seshrin's grey uniform and it certainly seemed to match the older man's demeanour who almost wore an expression of being unimpressed.
"Commander Piett sir, Captain Seshrin reporting as ordered."
