*Muunilinst was a lush world of forests, plains, and tall, jagged mountain peaks. It had a liquid iron core, a strong magnetic field, and was volcanically active throughout its known history. Its shallow oceans contained hundreds of "smokers," conical volcanoes built up by powerful vents in the crust. Many ( though not all) of these smokers spewed out superheated gases containing rich, pure precious metals from the planet's core. The very cones surrounding these vents were made up of layers of precious metals, mixed in with the mollusks, tube-worms, and bioluminescent ferns nurtured by the heat and water. It was these natural formations that provided the Muuns with the almost inexhaustible wealth to guarantee the credit of the entire galaxy. The skies of Muunilinst were said to be the most beautiful in the galaxy.*

Xeonon stood in the old granite streets and looked up at the skies. For the most part this part of the planet beautiful skies were pristine, and unmarred by space travel. So when he saw two ships descending from orbit he knew that Nicamadeus had come and more than likely not alone. It was to much to hope that the man would come alone, he figured that Panno would come. That man was far to honour bound to let the knowledge that he was alive stay a secret. So there was a good assumption there were at least a half dozen Knights on one of those ships probably more. The other more than likely held soldiers. It would be a change to face actual trained men for a change if it came to that.
Heading to the center of town where there was a major crossroads; a reminder of a time when vehicles were ground based, he wished that he had his old armour. Instead he wore a variation of the new undercover Imperial Knight armour. The suit, totally white and impeccably clean held under it his large caliber handgun while on his back was a sawwed off scattershot. In his right hand he held a saberstaff with a Mestare crystal. Whatever happened he would be ready. As ever the illustrious Stormtrooper had found his way into the thick of it. Putting away his desire for individuality in this new order he had quickly risen to the top of the pecking order. It had earned him the right to be a commando. Which in turn allowed for some individuality. He still kept his name though, Erebus, clone of Xeonon Solomon designation number QT-80082.
He still wore the new Imperial Stormtrooper armour for the common ranks, and still carried all his same gear. Including his coveted vibroknife that had saved his skin more times than he could count. Hopefully it would not need to gut an Imperial Knight like it had years ago. Unlike before though he actually enjoyed his current squad. The five men beside him were actually pretty good, different generations of clones had given them a solid group. He was the youngest at 3 years of age, while the oldest had nearly a decade under her belt.
Touching down before the Generals (Nica and the Knights) the commandos fanned out and watched as the local long headed aliens fled from the streets upon seeing their ship touch down on a sand blasted roof.

The trio of shuttles landed shortly after the commando shuttle made its stealthy approach for the rendezvous point. One squad of Stormtroopers issues out, securing the landing area before giving the green signal that it was clear. Nicademus disembarked, flanked by Imperial Knight veterans and initiates, as well as Antares Kreig, Anya and Panno, who had joined him for this meeting. The second squad of Stormtroopers disembarked from another shuttle, joining the away team as they made for the meeting location. The last squad remained by the shuttles, keeping an eye on the transports.
Nicademus paused in his stride as they walked through the untouched settlement. He remembered seeing the holovid recording of Muunilist and its ravaged cities. It felt like they weren't even on the planet from this pristine landscape and unmolested structures. Yet he noted that the place was voided of any life save those present. There were no Muun natives, no Humans, no... anything. After a few moments of lingering, Nicademus continued his walk with his escort. His eyes glance over at Panno, Anya and Antares.
When we arrive at the location, I will approach Xeonon alone. I doubt he would like it if the additional company I brought was flanking or encircling him. Just be ready to act if anything goes wrong with this meeting.

As Xeonon stood still he watched and waited knowing exactly where they would be coming from. With the sun at his back he saw Delvaradus coming towards him leading Imperial Knights towards him. He knew all of the Masters but the others were new to him. All of them were wildcards. This was a show of force by the Knights and the General. A force of men suitable enough to take him and for a moment Xeonon relaxed. His suspsions were right. This would be no conversation. No hey how are you nice to see you are alive. This was a lynch mob. Raising his arm he beckoned them to come forward and meet him beside one of the many houses Xeonon readied himself for what was to come.

Panno opened himself up to the force as he walked through the empty streets. Despite the lack of sentient life the streets were teeming with life. Insects, small rodents, and plant life was abundant. He could feel everyone around him as well. The novices excitement at their first time out. Antares nervousness and Delvaradus feeling that this whole thing will end well. Something about this whole operation stunk and it wasnt the Xeonon.
Sir that is the worst idea you have ever had. Dont approach him alone. He just laid waste to this world and you want to see him alone. I wont allow it I-
Flashing Panno a look of annoyance he furrowed his brow and spit at the ground.
Watch your tounge Panno! He is right though sir, you either go in there will all of us or we restrain you, send you back to the ship and deal with this ourselves.
Holding up his hand all the Knights stopped behind the General. Despite saying this his words were not sharp. It was obvious there was no way he would follow through with this threat, for this to end in the best possible way Nica was needed here.

A sharp look was given by Nicademus to Antares. Panno may have spoken rather boldly, but the General did not like his Imperial Knights squabbling like a bunch of children. He looked at them all sharply, letting them know his disdain towards their attitude. That was save Panno, who had every right to speak up. Without another word, the Imperial takes in a deep breath and walks forward to where Xeonon was waiting for him. His blaster remained holstered as well as his hands seen. He left his entourage at the entrance of the rendezvous area and walked alone up to Xeonon, the man who claimed to be the architect of Muunilist's devastation.
Once close enough for comfort, Nicademus halted, his eyes solely upon Xeonon. The silence continued for a long time before Nicademus would speak.
No longer a phantom or specter I see, Xeonon. I assume you regain mortality and your body by... other means?

Anya walked with the group until Nicademus finally stopped them and spoke of going on ahead. She knew, as well as the rest, that he shouldn't go alone. However, though she thought to speak up herself, she remained quiet. Her training was far different than that of the Knights and she knew that sometimes, things had to be allowed to move. All she could do was have confidence in him and believe that things would go well.
Shortly after Nicademus began his approach, he hands moved down her legs until the were fully extended, her palms just over the chakram on each leg. They remained folded shut, but the she let the Force flow through her so that she was ready the moment they needed to spring into action. At this point, it would take nothing to unfold them and send them flying with her telekinesis.

You could say that
If by other means he meant that Xeonon had reached to high and had taken on a Whill in combat then yes other means. Despite all his power on the ethereal plain he was but a candle before the might of the Whill. He was sent back as punishment, with his memory shattered. He still got the occasional flash but that battle was a blur, and before that Xeonon did not want to think about. He reveled in murder and chaos. It seemed some of that had rubbed off on him.
I knew I had to do something big to get your attention. What do you think?
Smiling and spreading his arms he put on his game face. It was time to make the Emperor believe he did this. He was walking a very tight rope right now, between hiding the truth and telling enough to not lie. Hevn had made it very obvious he wanted to remain in the shadows for now but his plans placed to many of his own assets in danger.
One of the galaxies richest worlds is now ripe for the picking. The Empire gets another source of income.
And you get out of the firing line.
Why did you bring the Knights Delvaradus? You know now that they know I am alive they will hunt me down to my dying breath. Id be surprised if they dont try to rip me in half with the force from here.
Looking over Delvaraduses shoulder he saw Antares and nine other Knights talking glancing over at the duo. Only Panno and the girl seemed at ease.

Panno wanted to protest as Nicademus walked ahead without any protection, but after being chastised by both he held his tongue. Standing apart from the others he watched as the two talked ignoring the other Imperial Knights. His focus was on Xeonon. He looked older, much older than when he had last seen him and of course alive. Most people, in fact all people generally dont get better when they get cut in half. The Xeonon he knew was logical and loyal, he would never had run away from the Knights and his duties. Something was different about this man now.

Nicademus listens to the words of Xeonon and, for a moment, he could not believe what he was hearing. It sounded like Xeonon, this Xeonon, enjoyed the chaos and destruction he created. The General once knew an Imperial Knight, a leader among them, who would never think of such things. Who would seek accords between enemies, protect the Empire with his life and ensure that good triumphed over evil. For a long silent moment, the Imperial stared at Xeonon.
Why... why did you do this?!
His voice echoed across the empty town, bouncing off of walls and structures.
Why did you do this, Xeonon? Why did you destroy a planet just to get my attention and say that you did this for the Empire, for the Imperial Knights, for our future?!

Well to be fair I only destroyed a building and a couple ships. The Mandalorians did all the rest, very rambunctious those Reavers. I must admit after the Holy War I was concerned with working alongside them but they did their part well.
As if Nicademus had any right to sound indignant. He was the emperor, he had led for years and knew all about atrocities. He had ordered some himself, in fact Xeonon had been party to at least one of them. What made him so high and mighty? Just because he did not swing the sword his hands were clean? No. He was arguably more at fault than any of the others, but due to his position it was okay. Presidents, Warlords, Emperors; they are all the same.
The only thing different between you and me Nicademus is that I swing the sword, where as you swing the pen.
He knew that was not entirely true. No Delvaradus was once a General for the Horica Empire it was safe to say at least once or twice he had gotten his hands dirty.
Why did I do it? To get you here. Kuat is a dead end, everyone wants ships and everyone forgets about what the ships are made of. This planet is a literal gold mine. It will be the future of everything you do and the Imperial Knights do. The government is weak and ripe, it needs someone to take over and repair the damage.

Nicademus remains calm and composed, as best he could. The General was not at all happy, mostly because the Imperial Knights were eyeing him the whole trip from Kuat. Panno had already thought that this wanton destruction of Muunilist was his idea and was approved by the Imperial. That alone had spread like wild fire and eyes of suspicion rested upon Nicademus now. For a moment, he remained silent before speaking after Xeonon had.
So making the conditions ideal for the Imperial cause to swoop in and claim the planet justifies this... destruction? I have the Imperial Knights, your brothers, breathing down my neck thinking I approved of this disaster. That I swung the pen on this operation and allowed it to go through.
Nicademus knew that Xeonon wasn't going to say much though. Something about this just didn't seem right at all. Mandalorians may be powerful, but since their last Crusade, they were a scattered nation, numbering as many as the stars above, but with rifts separating each group and individual from each other. The Mandalorians couldn't have done this on their own, but the General doubted Xeonon would string the story any other way. For that, Nicademus kept his lips shut on his suspicions.
Muunilist may be a gold mine, but now its a devastated planet. It will take all the gold on the planet just to repair its infrastructure and make it worth anything to the Imperialists. Yet I doubt you brought me all the way here just to hand Muunilist on a dirty gold planet, Xeonon... so what other reasons are you hiding behind your lips?

They were my brothers once.
Since coming back to life, things had really been put in perspective. No longer was he concerned with country and the pursuit of an Empire. Death changes a man. Puts perspective on things, and he wanted to shape the galaxy himself.
Am I that easy to read? Don't worry about what I am not telling you. I have my reasons and that is all that matters.
What was he going to say? Kuat was going to be attacked, by him in an undisclosed amount of time. He was working alongside some of the galaxies most notorious criminals. He let the dogs out. The list of his sins were innumerable and would only grow.
I brought you here to repay a debt. To get you off Kuat, to free you of the binds from that planet. To long have to Empires been drawn to their old power bases to restart. Kuat, Aaragu, Taris, they are all cursed. Do what you want here I could care less. Make an Empire, rule as a president. Hell blow up the damn planet if you think it is dirty.
Eyeing up the Imperial Knights behind Delvaradus he did notice they were more agitated than usual. Something was going on with them and he did not believe for a second it was belief that Delvaradus condoned the attack. They were conditioned to serve the Emperors every whim, and defend him with their lives. Sure on a personal level those that knew might find it distressful but they would never voice their concerns.
Discipline must be lacking if they are eyeing you over this. Its not the first time a civilian target has been hit by Imperials.

Nicademus didn't glance back at the Imperial Knights, yet he would provide some insight, knowing that Xeonon knew the Knights better than the General did. If discipline was lacking, as the former Imperial Knight stated, then there must be only one reason why...
Only three truly speak their minds; Panno, Antares and Anya. Panno and Anya's word is more rational and understandable. Antares though... I am not sure. I can state that the training of the Imperial Knights has fallen upon Antares Krieg. He is the only one, besides a few other vets, that effectively ensures their training, upbringing and education.
So far, the General had gotten the answers he could get out of Xeonon. He knew he couldn't get anything else besides what was spoken. It was clear that Xeonon wanted the Imperial here and not on Kuat, but for what reason was unknown to Nicademus. After a moment thinking, he lowers his voice.
Go then, Xeonon... you have given me the answers I need and its clear that you have broken your ties with the Empire and the Knights. You clearly want me here for some reason and not on Kuat. Whatever your reasons may be, I shall let you go then.

The conversation between the Knights were cut short as a double explosion ripped through the placid air. Twin plumes of smoke bellowed from the landing crafts that had brought the Imperials down to the planet. Caught off guard the storm troopers who were left behind were caught in the explosion. Between the extreme heat, the shrapnel, and the concussion blast the Stormies were blown to pieces.
Taking his hand out from behind his back he thumbed the activator on his lightsaber.
That fucking bastard. Panno, Freiski and Frezia go take Solomon now. I dont know how he did it but two of the ships are down, cut that prick down to size. The rest of us are getting Nicademus out of here.
Staring down the old Knight Krieg led the others forward in a slow march, hearing the hum of the other lightsabers he knew the other Knights were doing the same. Solomon coming back into play was perfect timing, it gave him the perfect excuse to get the Emperor away from everyone else. And gave him the perfect scapegoat for what was going to happen next.
Hearing the explosions his head snapped around, looking for targets but none presented themselves. The only possible explanation was Xeonon. As much as it pained him to say it, the man he knew and respected was dead. What stood before him now was just another enemy of the state, the skin did not matter. He had to destroy everything he knew about the man, he had to assess him now as a threat and nothing more. Unlike the other Knights Panno took out his sword.
Breaking off from the main group with Freiski and Frezia behind him he brushed past Nicademus and stood before Xeonon. Feet away he finally got a good look at him. Dressed in a pure white suit he looked old. Different. His face was no longer his own, his eyes had changed. Everything about him was different. The only things that remained the same were the fancy facial hair, and his force aura. Standing in the middle of the trio facing Xeonon he waited a second before the other two. His sword sliced straight down hoping to bisect Xeonon right in two. The others struck half a second after Panno, one hitting the left at the knees and the other from the right at chest height.
Walking up to Delvaradus he took the man by the shoulder and dragged him backwards from Xeonon.
Come with us sir we are getting to the third boat.
The only outlier to this plan was Anya. The other Imperial Knights followed his orders without question. She however was trained outside the order. Brought into the fold after she had proven herself worthy and trustworthy and as such did not share the same beliefs that the rest of the order did. To him he did not care if Delvaradus had planned the attack on this planet or not, it was only a matter of time. Banking worlds were always prime targets for attack.
Hoping to lead the General away from Xeonon he took him down a back street completely encircling the man with the other Imperial Knights himself leading.

You can say I am free all you want but they may have other things to say about it.
He flicked his eyes towards the Imperial Knights in time to see Antares reach behind his back. Thinking nothing of it moments later there was the retort of twin explosions echoing off the ancient walls. Looking at the twins plumes he stared back at Nicademus his brow furrowed.
I didnt do this. Youll have reason to mistrust me, but in time you will learn to again I assure you!
He did not have time to say anything else before Panno stuck. Concentrating all his power into his left hand and sent a massive force push towards Panno. Nicademus spoke highly of the man, and based off previous experiences it was the best option. The Dressilian was arguably his equal in sword play, and he couldnt risk mixing blades with him with two others distracting him.
The other two were not his match. Antares had to have known that. Whatever the man had planned it did not involve these two. Bounding forward with his right foot in the lead he dodged both blades, the one belonging to Frezia glancing off his back singeing the white material. Ignoring the heat from the blade he trusted the suit to hold its own against the heat. Ducking down low onto his knees he shrugged the scatter gun off his back just in time to fire it at Freiskis hip. Although the under armour was strong when it was hit by a laser shotgun at such close proximity the kinetic damage alone destroyed the mans insides. The heat concentrated as it was burned straight through it and into his abdominal cavity.
Before Xeonon had time to think Frezia struck again, from behind. Dropping to his back the scattershot was cut in half, the top half skittering off to the distance. Having left his saberstaff behind him he had one option. Tossing the burned off handle at the mans face it cut him just below the right eye. No blood fell as it was cauterized instantly.
Springing back up, while the man was distracted with the pain Xeonon grabbed a hold of the mans wrists just as he swung towards Xeonon. Gripping them tight he heard the metal crack. Cortosis, purified or otherwise was notorious for being brittle. Once the metal broke, the wrist broke soon after. Forcing the mans own lightsaber back onto himself the pungent smell of burnt hair and flesh was finally noticeable. It seemed to take forever, but eventually Xeonon forced the man to cut right through his own head, cutting through the top inch of the head the man dropped.

Anya turned at the sound of the explosion. The ships that had been brought down were gone and the soldiers remaining with them as well. Xeonon had planned things rather carefully. Perhaps, it was too carefully. Somehow, something didn't sit right with Anya about the sudden attack.
Her attention was redirected to Kreig as he gave the commands, have Panno and two others go after Xeonon. That call was also an odd one. True, they needed to get Nicademus back and to safety, but only three? Either Xeonon was nowhere near the warrior she had heard of him, or he was being grossly underestimated. She watched as Panno ran forward and moved in with the others to secure the Nicademus.
Her hands were on the hilts of her chakrams, the weapons removed from her legs and ready to be opened. She sharpened her senses as the feeling of oddity still resided within her. The attack was a surprise and not prepared for. Sure, orders may have been thrown around in the heat of the moment without making any concrete plans, bu that didn't seem to be the case.
First her mind thought on the chance that Xeonon had men waiting to plant bombs in their ships. Not a likely option as fighting would have been heard first unless the bombers were skilled assassins, capable of taking out the group of troopers without being known. Unlikely, which brought about the other possibility: either a trooper or a Knight had betrayed them and set up the bombs before hand. Next came the order of Panno being sent after Xeonon. True, Panno was skilled, but Kreig hated him. Sending him off with only two others Knights against a skilled opponent, was suspicious. If they truly wished for his death, only few would have been left to guard the Emperor and the most skilled fighters left to engage Xeonon. That was enough to raise suspicion on Kreig. However, there was little evidence to support that theory at current.
Griping her chakrams tighter, the blades unfolded as she followed the Knights to the back street, her eyes glancing around at the Knights that remained, suspicious of them all.

Nicademus raised his hand slightly only to shield his eyes from the blinding sources of the explosions. The shockwave did slam against his chest, but didn't knock him down. The words of Xeonon, quickly and hastily said, made the Imperial wonder for a moment. Yet as Panno and two other Knights rushed right past him, he knew his window was over and lines were drawn. The Emperor turned away and fell in line with the escorting Imperial Knights, sticking closer to Anya due to his trust of her. He only glanced back for a moment to see Xeonon dueling with three Imperial Knights, including Panno. He hoped that Panno would return to them...
As his attention returned to the encirclement of Imperial Knights, all led by Antares, Nicademus let his mind ponder upon the conversation between the two of them. What was Xeonon doing? Who was he working for? What did he mean by what he said at the last moment? All questions that would remain unanswered for certain...

Panno hit the wall with a lot of force. Everything went black, and he finally knew what it was like to see stars. Its not like in the cartoons when the stars spin around your head. Its you losing your vision, and spots appearing. He was still conscious, he knew that from the pain in his chest and how hard it was to breath.
By the time he was able to see again he had stumbled back to his feet and regained his breath Xeonon had already killed the other two Knights. He felt a pang of guilt having been unable to help them. More than that though it was rage. Xeonon was truly dead. The man who had trained him, and dozens of others was dead. If not on Prakith than earlier. He had refused to believe it. Yet before him he could see it. This man was not Xeonon.
Running through the streets Antares looked around him looking for anything. Stopping abruptly he turned to look at Antares. The others around him stopped on a dime. Doing the time honoured tradition of talking was over rated. Instead he just went for the attack. Himself and all the others struck at Nicademus. When and how is up to someone else.

As the Knights made their strike, there was a quick swirling of silver that spun around Nicademus, deflecting the blades back. After spinning around Nicademus a moment more they flew upwards to Anya who jumped overhead and landed just in front of him. In her hands, the silver of her chakrams shone in the light as her eyes glanced to each of the Knights. She was glad she had become suspicious of them all. If she hadn't and her chakrams weren't already in hand, Nicademus would have been dead.
She said nothing, knowing exactly what was happening. Whether it be from the Knights code or simply Antares himself, this was about the choices Nicademus had been making not lining up with what they believed. Despite being called a Knight, she saw things differently than the rest and wouldn't fall in line with their action based on their code.
