As the ship hovered overhead, Lucien turned to face Jenia with a confident smirk on his face.
"Was that a compliment, Rear Admiral?"
In spite of the fact that he was making such a confident, and seemingly flirtatious move, he silently grasped her hand in such a manner Krzesimir would not notice, looking her in the eyes, conveying the silent message "if you want to talk, I am here."
This move that was seemingly very out of character for him, was born out of true care for Jenia, as she was still very clearly preoccupied with the second announcement, likely for the safety of her family. And if that was the case, he would be there for her, as she likely would be for him. It was only fair, after all.

"Maybe, who knows?" She felt his hand, unsure if this was appropriate. Under regular circumstances she wouldn't have allowed it to happen, but given her inner struggle, it was at least something on which she could hold on for the moment, subtle and hopefully not too recognizable. She then proceeded to eye the underbelly of the Victory II above them, wondering what it name would be. Crimson? Imperatrix? Whatever it would be, she was certain that this ship would act as a good command ship of its fleet, continiueing the legacy of the predecessor armada in a worthy way.

"Was that a compliment, Rear Admiral?" Viggo used this moment to remind the couple they were in public still, as Jenia at least was not acting character and may have lost track if she were trying not to worry about her family. Viggo had belatedly remembered that Jenia hailed from the world now under Ren control. Still, he didn't think she had anything to worry about. The knights needed the mines as much as the empire did, perhaps a little more for their fancy armors and their sabers, if that kind of crystal could be found on Prakith. He leaned forward slightly, keeping his eyes forward, and hands clasped behind him, as he stage whispered to the Imperial Knight."That'd be a hard yes, Sir Brashington, if you take my meaning. But do try to save the fireworks till after the show, wouldn't want to embarass the Emperor now would you?"Viggo resumed his at ease posture, and left the adults to their devices for now. They might tolerate his antics, but he needed to be mindful not to over do it as well. He let his eyes wander to Garrick Needa, wondering if the old man was aware of the ... amorous ambitions of his son with all the announcements to distract him. Next his eyes rested on the Knight of Ren that had been watching Jenia, wondering if that look had meant something more than hello. Eventually his attention would return to the emperor, wondering if there was yet more announcements to come...
The shadow of a thought, a scheme, began to flicker and prowl in the back of his mind... Time would tell how long it would take for this new shadow to get him in trouble with his superiors. He let the thought fester for now, he had a ceremony to focus on.

"Thank you." Garrick beamed a bit at the mention of his son. In spite of the fact that at one point he had been a traitor to the Empire, he seemed to have found his way back into the fold nicely, and he could not be more proud of him. Lucien would likely do a great service to the Empire, and leave a worthy legacy behind him."I would say so, yes. He seems to be a promising knight, and although he is new to the Empire, he is adopting to it well." It would be hard to miss the way Garrick lights up when talking about his son in that unique way the parents of a child they are proud of light up when speaking of them, and Nicolina can't help but smile in return. "Well, he's in good company among the Imperial Knights, sir, and I'm sure that he will have plenty of opportunities while serving with them to live up to that promise. Returning her attention to Nicademus when he starts making the rest of his announcements, Nicolina cringes after he gives Prakith to the Ren as their own clubhouse, muttering to herself, There goes the neighborhood," and wondering how the civvies on that world will feel about being ruled by the Ren from the sounds of the powers Nicademus has granted them.
Shading her eyes to look up at the first of the Crimson Command vessels that Nicademus plans to provide the Imperial Knights, Nicolina whistles in appreciation of the Vic-II, leaning towards Garrick and opining, "Shiny, huh? Chuckling, she says as much to herself as to him, Guess Nik. . . the Grandmaster won't need to hit us up for a ride anymore, since she and her unit have ferried Faina and other Imperial Knights around often in the past. Curious as to what Garrick's thoughts are about the Ren being given Prakith, she asks, What's your take on the Prakith sitch?" Garrick was slightly disappointed in the fact that the Knights of Ren had received concessions; but did understand the reasoning behind it. Perhaps it was for the best, in order to keep a small scale civil war from breaking out. While it was a war he was confident their side could win, he would rather sidestep it entirely."It could be better. I'd have preferred Prakith to remain part of the First Order, as monitoring them is now going to be that little bit harder. Even so, if it prevents a civil war, I suppose it's worth it." However, this was small news in comparison to the next piece of news. The Crimson Command. Perhaps one of the most legendary Imperial commands of all time, Crimson Command could expect to be brought up in a similar fashion to Death Squadron, simply due to its notoriety amongst Imperials. It had served along the greats, such as Pellaeon and Teradoc. Men that had earned the respect of Grand Admiral Needa, not an easy task to do at all. And it had been resurrected, under the banner of the Imperial Knights. Certainly one of the most interesting choices possible, though by far the best. As one of the few people in this room that could claim to have seen the original Crimson Command, he was certainly excited by the prospect of its return. He could only imagine how Lucien was taking it, given how he had been raised with a reverence to the old Empire, and now he would get to be a part of its continuation."Was that a compliment, Rear Admiral?" Viggo used this moment to remind the couple they were in public still, as Jenia at least was not acting character and may have lost track if she were trying not to worry about her family. Viggo had belatedly remembered that Jenia hailed from the world now under Ren control. Still, he didn't think she had anything to worry about. He let the thought fester for now, he had a ceremony to focus on. As he was slightly curious as to how Lucien was taking it, he glanced over in his son's direction. It seemed he and Jenia were preoccupied, both by each other and the ship hovering above them, and so he met eyes with Krzesimir Viggo, the promising young officer he had met above Kuat. He had been assigned to Jenia's fleet, so it was likely he was staying close by his captain. And yet, there seemed to be a knowing look in his eyes, that he was fully aware of the current status of things between his son and the Rear Admiral. As such, he gave Viggo a knowing nod, as the commodore seemed to be gauging whether or not Garrick was aware of the situation between Lucien and Jenia.

Although she blushed briefly as she heard that Commodore Viggo whispered something to Lucien, which he only acknowledged, yet her hand remained were it was - in the end she didn't knew what to make out of this. Now she was certain that her crew would probably talk about more than just the news of what the Emperor would declare...
Therefore she looked up relaxed as well, as all eyes were still fixed upon the Star Destroyer before they would turn back towards the Emperor once more.

Katsumi applauds when Nicademus announces that he is gifting the Knights of Ren with control of Prakith, the left corner of her lips curling up in amusement beneath the grinning skull helm that conceals her face at the mention of a special tithe to be paid to Empire which is mentioned in the middle of the other benefits as though doing so cleverly conceals the bill attached to the gift. Of more interest to Katsumi than the second announcement, however, are the mixed reactions to it, both those that can be seen and those that even possession of a rudimentary telepathic ability reveal. Tilting her head back slightly, like a beast scenting the air, Katsumi closes her sulfuric yellow eyes and, just as a connoisseur of wine would detect the delicate notes of fruit or floral, earth or wood, and youth or vinosity, she can pick out delicious lingering hints of fear, anger, distrust and unease floating about in the collective consciousness of all those gathered. She could, if she wished, sift more finely through the psychosphere, determine from whom the stronger emotions originate and perhaps even the specific causes of the sentiments, but Katsumi does not; not out of any respect for conventions such as privacy or propriety, but because doing so here and now holds no interest for her, and would tell her little she does not already know given that it is well known that the Knights of Ren are regarded with suspicion or worse by many within the ranks of the First Order despite all they have done for the Imperials and their Emperor.
The news of the resurrection of the fabled Crimson Command seems to meet with the overall general approval of those gathered, though Katsumi herself finds it of little interest save for the suggestion inherent in the Emperor's gesture that his faith in his precious Imperial Knights has not wavered despite the various betrayals that have come from within their very ranks, or perhaps that it had been fully restored after his future wife purged those very ranks of all vestiges disloyalty.
Looking away from the red hued Star Destroyer after dutifully looking up at it after it had made its showy appearance, Katsumi returns her attention to Nicademus, wondering if there are more announcements or pronouncements to come.

Nicademus gazes upward at the crimson Victory II-class Star Destroyer, proud to see the sight. It was probably a sight welcomed by many Imperials who had merely heard the stories of the fabled Crimson Command. Its commanders were legends themselves, among them was Gilad Pellaeon himself. The very Imperial who laid the foundations for future Empires in the Outer Rim, the very foundations the First Order built its fortunes and nation. It would serve the Imperial Knights well, empowering them and ensuring they could perform their operations with manpower and resources in reach. The Imperial gazes at the vessel for awhile long before turning his gaze downward. His eyes glanced at Faina, who remained beside him. Then, his gaze returned to those gathered.
There is one final announcement to make.
Nicademus gestures to Merrik Piett before speaking further.
Imperial Intelligence has been tracking remnants of the Galactic Alliance throughout the galaxy. These remnants have been moving from system to system, attempting to cover their tracks, but we have managed to keep on their tails and keep a close eye on them.
The Emperor was pleased that the Alliance was gone, but the remnants would prove to be a nuisance if they were founded by successor states. It would only empower them and make them stronger. The First Order was powerful, but the former Alliance had proved its tenacity time and time again. Such tenacity would add fangs to unseen enemies if they were not properly destroyed.
Once they find a place to settle, in an attempt to ride out the storm, I will be informed by Imperial Intelligence. And when that day comes, I want all your troops and fleets readied. I will not let these stragglers get away... for they represent the ideas of misguided democracy and corruption in this galaxy. And such corruption must be burned away from our galaxy if we are to see it unified and restored. Ad Victoriam!
The Emperor lets those words resonate before giving the salute of the First Order. His commanders and senior staff immediately followed with their own salute to their Emperor. The announcements made today would, hopefully, shape the Empire further. For Neo-Imperialism's core belief was progress, progress even when there was peace and tranquility. For there were always enemies, no matter what nation one created or ruled. And with that, the meeting had been concluded.

Saluting the Emperor as well, Jenia felt that her fears of the current peace being just the calm before the storm weren't all too unrealistic. It was good that they all among the fleet officers get reminded that their services were still needed. Delvardus knew how to inspire the men of the First Order just as one would expect from a good leader. With the meeting getting slowly dissolved and officers and other officials beginning to slowly leave, once the Emperor himself has left the stage, Jenia would eventually turn towards Commodore Viggo, her face being serious once more. She handed back the thermos towards him, before she spoke. "Given the Emperor's words, orders remain as they are regarding training sessions", the Rearadmiral stated, "I will inform Colonel Asmus of these choices, as we might intesify especially the training on our ground forces, once the next shift within the flight plan occurs. Carida will be our next location for practice and regular patrol." She then made a brief pause, partially uncertain how both Lucien and Kreszimir will react upon the next statement. "And I will request formally a brief visit to Prakith for the moment that the fleet is stationed at the High Port. If something happens within my absence, Commodore, you will be the commanding officer of the Banshee fleet. Apart from my captains, there is noone else whom I could trust more than you, when it comes to ensure the safety of our fleet and especially our TIE fighter squadrons. If Intel will find in the meantime the hideouts of the Galactic Alliance Remnants and contact me during the visit, be ensured that I will take the fastest shuttle available in order to return to the fleet immidiately.
I wouldn't do this if I know there's an immenent attack upon our borders or against the very heart of the First Order, but I need to see after my family. It's two years already since I talked with my father... over a holo emitter. I hope that this decision is reasonable, even if it makes me sound selfish." Not that she necessarily expected Krzesimir to judge her, but like her he was in the end an Imperial officer. They both knew that it wouldn't be easy, as it was always the usual problem of fulfilling duty for the First Order and the Emperor, while ensuring the safety of the own family. The last thing was, what Jenia troubled the most for the moment, as the meeting at the High Port made her also realize how long it had been since she spoke the last time with her father.

Viggo saluted with the rest of the officers, as the emperor finished his announcements. When Jenia turned towards him he likewise turned to face her. He declined to accept the offered thermos, she needed it more than he did. He listened to her orders and nodded understanding and acquiescence. When she was done, he took a moment and then nodded to the Imperial knight behind her, the man might as well meet his future in-laws and it would provide some measure of comfort to Jenia during her journey to Prakith.
"Understood ma'am, we'll begin our training as soon as the fleet is ready to move. I'll add that to the exercise, practicing operating without a clear commander in case you're ever targeted or jammed during a battle. Keep the thermos, I have others, and you need it now more than I do.
Also, take him with you, you may have need of him before the trip is over. And let's be honest, it's about time he met your folks any way. The officer pool started out as a bid for or against the man winning your hand. Since the gala, however, it's been a bid on how long until he gets a ring on your hand. We're happy you've found a man who can support you if you need it, and let you stand on your own if you don't.
Make the most of it ma'am; the fleet will be awaiting you over Carida, barring news from the spooks. Safe travels Admiral Kasalle, go see to your family."
Krzesimir Viggo saluted Jenia, and nodded briskly to Lucien before making his way back to the hangar bays, to begin seeing to his duties. For once he wasn't making light of the situation, or the actions that needed to be taken. He rarely took things seriously, and hoped she'd take his advice and convince Lucien to tag along with her to Prakith. On that note, perhaps he would find the time to send a report to Garrick suggesting that his son be given orders to escort Jenia for a bit, as she would be taking some personal time and was a valuable resource to the Empire and should be guarded as such, even where no trouble was expected.
Krzesimir Viggo smiled to himself at that, it was probably not something fleet command usually permitted. He doubted Garrick would make a fuss about it though, and was fairly certain the man would have made the arrangements on his own once he saw Jenia's request. This would just give him a slight head start on the necessary paper work.
Commodore Viggo was not expecting any difficulties with the coming exercises, which would start on schedule in about a week's time. Or maybe a few days early, if Viggo could work out the logistics. Perhaps he'd mention some of the more... bothersome matters to Garrick as well, and see what his superior suggested. He expected to have the fleet earning full marks across the board by the end of the month. It would be a little messy at first, but his men were good, and Admiral Kasalle's men were well disciplined and experienced to boot. He was looking forward to the joint training, and hoped that the Admiral would be able to sort things out with her family while he got the fleets in top shape. If they were lucky, she'd get back just in time for the spooks to corner the alliance splinters and call for the fleets to crush them.

The brief surprise on Jenia's face could be seen briefly as the Commodore left her with these words, leaving her briefly speechless, before she nodded back towards her subordinate's salute. "Then at Carida we will meet again. For the Empire! For the First Order!" In some way, she thought, these man's talents were partially wasted within the Imperial Navy. Given his knowledge she pondered that he would even make a good ISB agent - though of course this was not for her to judge in the end. Yet it fascinated her, that he and others kept silent for so long until the High Port meeting. Well... it was a long journey anyways.
Once the Commodore was gone, the fleet admiral looked up to Lucien, wondering what he thought about all of this. "It's... it's fine", she solely said, as they stood there, watching still the more than emptied elevated area within the High Garden, "You don't have to accompany me, if... if the Emperor and his Empress need to plan their next moves. I really don't want to be a burden to you, Lucien." There was still some uncertain tone within her voice, as she actually wasn't sure if she misinterpreted the Imperial Knight the entire time. Obviously, he made the first moves... But what if Viggo and her were wrong. She looked up to him, this time actually concerned of what he would answer.

Lucien was, admittedly, caught off guard by the Commodore's comment. While he had established himself to be a bit of a joker, he hadn't expected him to be this overt with his... endorsement of the rumors that had swirled throughout Jenia's officer corps surrounding Lucien's relationship with the Rear Admiral. Even so, however, he managed to hide his surprise, keeping a straight face as he turned to face Viggo once again. A silent nod would have to suffice for now.In spite of the fact that he could technically speak to him, it would have been rather out of form, and he would rather not make Jenia uncomfortable. Neith let out a mechanical hum as Nicademus wrapped up the announcements, stating that Intelligence was tracking down the last remnants of the Galactic Alliance. His final announcement to them was to be ready to gather their fleets and armies and march upon these stragglers once they were found and route them. Pushing off from Harnan's chest then, Neith repeated the battle cry and returned the salute. She turned around them, directing her focus on to Soku. Crossing her arms beneath her chest, she waited a moment before shifting her attention up to Harnan So... does this mean we'll be getting a new base of operations? Remaining at Nicademus's side, her arm in his, throughout the remainder of his address, Faina uses her vantage point to watch the body language and expressions, especially in those instances where they at least appear to be unguarded and genuine rather than rigorously controlled, of those that have attended to gauge the overall reaction to all that is unannounced. The helmets of the Knights of Ren make it impossible to read their expressions, though Faina finds what is written in their body language relatively easy to glean, especially when Nicademus reveals that she is to be Empress. That the Ren would meet the news of her being chosen as Empress with varying degrees of disdain or disappointment comes as little surprise; the philosophical rift between their Order and the Imperial Knights alone enough to all but guarantee that any sign of favor Nicademus might be seen to demonstrate where one is concerned the other would meet with some level of rancor. Fortunately enough, that their Orders are unlikely to ever come to any degree of true accord has yet to impair either's ability to perform their duties, and Faina supposes that it can only be hoped that it continues to be the case going forward.
The members of the First Order's navy and other military branches are, by and large, easier to read than the Ren, and Faina is not entirely surprised when the reactions of some following Nicademus' announcement that Prakith will be placed under the rule of the Ren reveal that the Imperial Knights are not alone in harboring some degree of mistrust for the Knights of Ren, suggesting that there are those among the military branches that know of the dangers inherent in using the dark side of the Force, which is, forewarned being forearmed, a comforting thought indeed given that Nicademus has made it clear that his plans for the Empire will include the Knights of Ren for so long as they prove loyal to him and to it.
Once the meeting has concluded, Faina accompanies Nicademus and Baltasar back in to the room away from the main audience area where they had prepared themselves, asking him once they have reached it, "I believe that went rather well, smiling as she turns to him and reaches up to remove his officer's cap, holding it in one hand as she places the other behind his head to pull his lips to hers, asking after kissing him softly, Do you want to stay and mingle for awhile, or are there already other matters elsewhere requiring our attention?"

Once the meeting has concluded, Faina accompanies Nicademus and Baltasar back in to the room away from the main audience area where they had prepared themselves, asking him once they have reached it, "I believe that went rather well, smiling as she turns to him and reaches up to remove his officer's cap, holding it in one hand as she places the other behind his head to pull his lips to hers, asking after kissing him softly, Do you want to stay and mingle for awhile, or are there already other matters elsewhere requiring our attention?" For now, the Emperor removed himself from where he spoke. However, in the back of his mind, the Imperial felt that a talk with the Ren, specifically Soku and Harnan, would be necessary. They had already expressed some concern of Fiora's education and joining with the ranks of the Ren and, now with the Empress to be Faina Nikulin, they would be wondering a lot of things. The promise had been made, in accordance with the wishes of Fiora and Octavian's mother, one would go to the Ren and the other to the Imperial Knights. Even with the new marriage, and a new mother for his children, Nicademus would not seek to alter that in any way. Certainly, Faina would have to know not to interfere, but at the same time, he would not want the Ren to interfere with Faina role as Fiora's mother. A conversation for a later time though, one that would require him to contemplate over.
His thoughts broke when he felt Faina take off his officer's cap. His gaze turning to his soon-to-be Empress as he takes the moment to enjoy the kiss between the two of them. Nicademus gently touches her arm, which was still encased by the armor, but there were parts that revealed the under armor, between the gauntlet and shoulder pads. Faina was quite the passionate woman towards him, it was a comforting feeling. She was someone dedicated to him and wanting nothing but to be a part of his life now.
The Emperor looks at Baltasar, who had turned away to give the two their privacy, before looking at Faina.I will need to meet with the Ren soon enough. I am giving them time to take in the news and setup their special administrative zone within the Prakith system first. I will plan to have you present for that... for it will concern a few things that I want you and the Ren to be aware of.Best to clarify things between the new Empress and the Knights of Ren. Faina understood his desire to keep the Ren within the First Order and be involved in its future. She was one of the few that did not truly disagree with the Emperor's policy of accepting Dark Siders in their ranks. The Ren were the Swords of the Empire after all, they had to play their role without interference. Still, best to speak with both sides and ensure everything was settled correctly.
Nicademus looks at Faina, gently touching her chin with a smile. There is always something to do involving the Empire. Let us return to the surface, there isn't much else to say here. I still have work to attend to and we have much to discuss involving your coronation and other matters.

*The proceedings over with, Soku made sure nothing else required his attention before quietly excusing himself. First he would have to return to the Tower, analyze his data on Prakith and prepare it for their apparent new occupation. Once things were set in motion, he would gather the Ren there...*

Harnan looked slightly down at Neith as she pushed off his chest, his own gaze briefly turning to Soku. But before she spoke, Neith lifted her gaze back onto him, asking about a new base of operations. Her actions clearly indicating she did not want to address Soku directly just yet. He watched from the corner of his eye as his Brother quietly slipped away then. Before he focused his attention back upon Neith, waiting until Soku was out of ear shotWe'll see what happens... I suspect Soku will make a decision soon enough... For now...He turned his attention to Shel Hu thenWe should return to your fleet and continue your training. There is still much I have left to teach you...

I will need to meet with the Ren soon enough. I am giving them time to take in the news and setup their special administrative zone within the Prakith system first. I will plan to have you present for that... for it will concern a few things that I want you and the Ren to be aware of. . . There is always something to do involving the Empire. Let us return to the surface, there isn't much else to say here. I still have work to attend to and we have much to discuss involving your coronation and other matters. Faina nods when Nicademus informs her of his intent to meet with the Ren, her tone more customarily dry and businesslike as, shifting mental gears as befits the situation and the need to approach the matter from a wholly professional angle warrants, she replies, "I understand," in such a way that he will understand she agrees not only that she should be present for the meeting, but also has resolved to keep her personal feelings in regards to the Ren's beliefs and practices separate from any dealings she might have with them out of respect and acceptance of Nicademus' stance on their place in the Empire. Faina can guess that a part of what Nicademus will want to clarify involves Fiora, and, difficult as it was to come to the decision to accept Nicademus' decision that she be trained by the Knights of Ren without, by willing herself to set her own personal grave reservations aside, attempting to sway him from the course or interfering in any other way, has resolved to set the minds of the Knights of Ren at ease on that account, insofar as it might prove possible to do so given the all but inevitable tension existing between their Order and that of the Imperial Knights. There is, in Faina's estimation, little chance that the discord between the Knights of Ren and the Imperial Knights will ever abate in any truly meaningful way, but she has resolved to do whatever she can to try and reach whatever level of understanding and acceptance might be achievable between their Orders all the same of, if nothing else, the simple fact that both have their place in the Empire and in Nicademus' plans for its future.
Her demeanor relaxing, nearly imperceptibly so, when the subject shifts to what the rest of the day holds for them, Faina lifts her hand to massage her right temple as, lips pursed in thought as she organizes her thoughts as to what outstanding business demands her attention most pressingly, she says, "I have a few matters to attend to as well, explaining in brief, in order to ensure the Imperial Knights operate smoothly when my attention or presence is required elsewhere, and then tilts her head at an inquisitive angle as she suggests, Shall we dine together this evening, perhaps with Fiora and Octavian as well? She has met Fiora and Octavian on a few occasions so far - the first of them brief and somewhat awkward for both her the children given her inexperience with children and the overall situation itself, while the more recent of them have seen the tentative beginnings of a bond growing between her and them as her comfort and confidence levels increased and they all became more familiar with each other - and Faina has come to look forward to the time that she, Nicademus and the children spend together. After we have put them to bed, we could discuss the other matters you mentioned?"

Nicademus knew the next few weeks would be crucial and involve a lot of work on their part, both as individuals and together as a couple and Emperor and Empress. He only hoped the work would not overload Faina in any way. Some time, before this meeting, the Imperial had made it clear that if she desired any assistance, she only ask and people would be assigned to help her with any education she needed. After all, with the announcement of the Crimson Command's revival, she would need to be educated on how a fleet was maintained, naval tactics, and the sort. The Imperial was already compiling a list of candidates to help advise her and serve her, directly, as ship commanders and an ideal fleet commander to serve beneath her. Persons that could be trusted for their skill, their experience, and their ability to lead, ensuring that the Empress would be ably advised, military wise that is.I had hoped we could discuss someone to serve as Steward of the Imperial Knights. However, when I think about it more, you probably know who is best to run the Order as your deputy so that you can focus on being an Empress and a mother.Nicademus says as he smiles at those last few words. Empress and mother... he knew Faina would try her best to be good at both. The Imperial didn't want her stressing over it too much though. He had been more than appreciative in how she was trying to form a bond with his children, ensuring she was educated on what her role would be, and being ever so affectionate and supportive of her future husband. She was an ideal companion. She had been trusted more than anyone. Her skill was unquestionable, her loyalty without doubt, her support without condition, and now, her love without any strings attached. Her new role, at his side, was what Nicademus needed. He had said before, it was lonely being an Emperor.
The male reaches up to gently touch her blonde hair, contemplating her final words. Faina had the right idea for the day, something for the two of them to take the time to relax and unwind. A rarity that would certainly be welcomed in the days to come. Nicademus looks at the female and smiles, nodding his head in agreement.I believe that is the perfect idea for tonight. A pleasant dinner as a family, a quiet night once the children are in bed, and some time to discuss without any distractions. I will ensure that all is arranged for tonight when you return to me, Faina.Nicademus pulls her towards him, allowing him to kiss her forehead once, giving her a sign of affection. He kept her close though, allowing them to enjoy a moment of peace and quiet. The Emperor looks down at Faina, his eyes meeting hers in that silence. At this point, Baltasar had altogether left the room, giving them full privacy. Nicademus touches her cheek as his eyes remain locked with hers.Until tonight then?

With the subtle nod, and the addition of a wink, he told Viggo that he would handle it.By now, the crowd had fully dispersed, either moving to other parts of the station, or clustering in small groups in other parts of the garden. Thankfully, this meant Lucien and Jenia were somewhat unobserved with the departure of Viggo. As such he redirected his gaze to her, her hand still lightly sheltered within his."Jenia..." He moved closer to her, looking straight into her eyes. Thankfully, the other officers seemed to be too busy discussing their own affairs to notice."I would be remiss if I didn't come with you. I know I'm not always the most serious person around, but know I am serious when I say this." She nodded thankfully, her hand holding his even closer. More she didn't dare to do - after all they were still in public. Yet though there were so many things she wanted to say, even though she knew that she wasn't able to express her actual feelings fully. But for the moment that was enough for her to know. She was glad that Lucien was present. "I guess I'll inform my staff then along with the High Command", she said solely, "As for a shuttle, I have recently commissioned since the Mygeeto incident one of the newer classes, an Upsilon-class command shuttle. The pilot is trustworthy, so... I guess it will be a safe flight. If things go well, we'll meet at the High Port this evening again." She made a brief pause, biting her lip for a second. "Anything else I should consider, Lucien? I'm not even sure how I should present myself to my father, but just so you know... it could be a long flight, even with an advanced Hyperdrive." The last words were spoken more silently, so nearby officers couldn't hear them, but her look told that she wanted the journey to be perfect this time.
