Inwardly, the Imperial Knight sighed. For a brief moment, a sense of grief began to take hold before Octavian steeled himself, utilizing the training of the Knights to compose himself. The Emperor was alive, but if he wasn't well, it made him worry deeply. All knew of Nicademus' strong health and active lifestyle. Even the throne and the title did not bring stagnation to his activity as the Emperor sought to speak publicly and involve himself deeply in government. But sensing what he had and seen before too, the clock was ticking and now it seemed the clock was ticking rapidly in a direction, but it was hard to tell where it would rest. Octavian could only hope that his father, a man of strength, would get through this.
Exhaling quietly, Octavian looks to the two who he had been speaking with earlier. His look had turn to stern, the best way to ensure his composure was kept. With the founder's health in jeopardy, it was not good if he reacted in any way negative. The coming days would be crucial and vital to the future of the Empire.
Grand Admiral, Grand Marshal, perform your duties to the letter.
Protocols were activating, given that Roland was here and the remarks of Zahn. The center had to hold and the vital senior personnel had to keep the structure up with the core of the nation in a state of uncertain health and unsure future. As such, the Crown Prince had to do his duty and that was to appear and be strong. Octavian had hoped there would be more time... more time to learn from his father and grow... but given that the Emperor was not well, it worried Octavian deeply. Turning now to Roland, the Crown Prince nods.
Relay word to Roderick Rus and the Chevalier in orbit. They will be returning with us to Coruscant.

Zahn knew it was not his place to say any more to the Prince, but if Octavian had insisted further, he would have had no recourse but to explain what he meant. Thankfully, however, such a burden was lifted from him by the arrival of Roland Ferrum with the 501st and an officer from the 3rd Imperial Engineering Regiment. Each of their uniforms was easy enough for Zahn to identify, not just because he was a Grand Marshal, but because of his vested interest in the Veers program. He'd come to know Roland quite well as the boys superior officer, and so he was quick to also pick up on his unusual mood.
He returned the salute and allowed the two cousins to converse for a moment. It was clear Roland wished to be gone from here, and Octavian seemed to finally understand that It was a pleasure seeing you both, take care Your Highness... He gave a bow to the Prince and a quick salute to Roland, before continuing on his way. He would need to gather his belongings before heading to Corulag to begin issuing new deployment orders across the Frontier Armies which he was charged with overseeing

High Port, Muunilinst Post-death of the Emperor There was an eerie feeling among the Imperial star port above the surface of Muunilinst since the last few days.Briefly the planet was under lockdown, as various Imperial ships entered the system, as if drawn to it like moths by a flickering light. Again the imperial forces of the First Order were on high alert, something that had hardly occured after their magnificent victories over various foes like the Corellian Coalition or the more recent attempts of splinter warlords trying to get their attention. Now however it was different. There was no major enemy that would draw the attention of the restored Empire. Most of the soldiers, that had gathered above the port, elite Stormtroopers, that stood diligently in a row, awaiting new orders, could only guess why they were here.Perhaps this operation would serve as the means to get rid of another Imperial Remnant, that has been one of countless, yet hardly mattering thorns within the side of a restored Galactic Empire.Or it was finally time to crush the pesky tendrils of the ambitious Quarren Dominion, that was rumored to still roam the eastern fringes of the galaxy, causing there turmoil upon other countless rebells towards the Empire.Yet it was not the outer enemy, that would concern them.It was the enemy on the inside, that they would have to face. The slender figure of the white-uniformed Grand Admiral came soon into view, as she entered the plattform that was overlooking the High Garden within the midst of the High Port. With the window site and the gathered fleet above them reminiscent of a scene during the living days of the Emperor the location was chosen strategical, as most of the present officers and perhaps even some of the assembled Stormtroopers would remember the day when Emperor Nicademus Delvardus once spoke from this podium to the masses.Ships of various sizes were flying over the dome, their communication channels open to what was happening within the dome of the High Port. While the whole event was streamed on the military channels of holo projectors, Jenia had no doubt however, that others would soon see, what was about to happen. She counted on that.As she went forward, flanked by a dozen of her black armoured bodyguards with yellow stripes upon their plating, drafted from the guard of the Novatroopers, the silver-haired military leader spoke up, her voice as usual cold and stern. While the hall was mostly silent already, even the last few bickering talks among few officers came immidiately to a halt, when they heard her voice."My fellow comrades of the First Order, we have met here, for this is a dire day that has befallen our glorious Empire. Inner turmoil has befallen our glorious Empire and attempts have been made to attack those that seek to oppose our rightful rule. Treason against the royal family. Against the will of our deceased Emperor."Again silence befell the room, as a pause was made. It was hard to read the emotions on helmeted faces or on the far-away faces of various officers across the hall, yet the Grand Admiral felt that many most likely were overcome by the same feeling of grief that had overcome her, when she saw on Coruscant the news to be confirmed. However, unlike her men, she couldn't succumb to these feelings. Not when so much more was now at risk."The Emperor's reign wasn't always steady, as many of us might remember and it is not the first time that we have to face such perils. Like the many imperial warlords, that had to be pacified over recent years, the bloodline of Nicademus started with the Braxant Empire, here within this very region. Muunilinst was for a long time the capital of imperial operations, of a new order, that many of you learnt to know as the First Order! We may be the Empire, yet at hard we must not forget our origins! For it was due to them, that the Emperor was capable of overcoming those, that seeked the downfall of our Empire. Brother fought once against brother, when the Braxant Empire had to establish this very new Order, that would unite the Imperium as we know it today. And while I hope that these times will be over for good, now that the rest of the galaxy is at peace, we must always stay vigilant in the face of those, that seek the downfall of a united Empire."As if by signal, the occulus was darkened by the massive shadow of a massive dreadnaught flying over the garden's dome.Like a capital city in comparison to a village, accompanying Victory-class Star Destroyers and the larger Imperial I-class Star Destroyers were dwarfed in the sight of this massive flagship, that was recently finished by the production line of the Yaga Minor Shipyards. The pride of the navy, one of many ships that were one major reason, why the First Order held it's ground in the galaxy as one of the major factions."Vigilance is, what our Empire demands! The Emperor is dead, yet his heir shall prevail all those, that seek to conspire against him. We have gathered here to re-confirm our oath to the rightful heir and firstborn son of the one true Emperor. As appointed Grand Admiral and Grand Moff of the Muunilinst oversector, we hereby declare, that we shall protect Emperor Octavian Delvardus I of the Delvardus line, just as his father has intended in terms of the line of succession and in order to preserve the core of the Empire. Ad gloriam! Ad victoriam!"In a frantic fashion, the last two sentences echoed through the Gardens, as officers and troopers alike celebrated the official declaration towards the most logical candidate in the line of succession, when it came to their Empire.Standing still to the thunderous applause, that the Emperor's Firstborn recieved from the army forces that she had gouverned over the last years, Jenia had already the feeling however that this was just the beginning of something greater, far more massive than any Imperial citizen could possibly imagine to happen. The illusion of a united Empire was still lasting and when seeing the hall in front of her in fanatic unison upon what was said, she could nearly believe that the culprits of the more recent instigations will be hunt down soon and brought to justice.Given her own intel though and the few warnings, the Imperial High Command on Muunilinst had recieved, state another reality though. One that made it for the Grand Admiral urgent to reaffirm the loyalities towards the one true Emperor within her oversector, before another contender may rise to challenge him...

=Theomiir=He was walking a fine line between truths and falsehoods in concealing his reasons for visiting Imperial space, but the Jedi Knight had decided not to outright lie to the Imperial Knight. Instead, he would let the full truth come out slowly, and use it to test the man's reactions, and his attitudes toward the Jedi and toward helping Theo with his twin missions.Smiling, he extended his right hand. "My name is Theo. I'm investigating the disappearance of a Jedi Master. I've exhausted my luck with the Jedi Order. They either don't know anything more, or they are unwilling to help me further." He cringed inwardly. That sounded worse out loud than it had in his head. "So I thought I'd try my luck here instead." He paused, and took a deep breath. "This is one of the only clues I have found so far. Can you tell me anything about it or it's former owner?" He opened his left hand, offering the object to Brock. It was the severed lower half of one of Kel'Al Raganella's lightsabers, with the blue pontite crystal missing. The severed edge was smooth and clean, as if done in one solid cut. This would no doubt prompt a hundred questions, but Theo wasn't going to volunteer the answers. He wanted to see how the Imp thought. Brock suppressed a knowing smile as the visitor mentioned the Jedi being unable to help him. He knew the Jedi were often very self righteous about helping others, however they weren't well known for giving out information to anyone who asked for it. Silently taking the half-saber from the man Brock began with a physical inspection, noting the oddity of it's clean slice as well as the basic internal structure. He noted a few things about it's structure but in truth it didn't give him much information about it's origins aside form a hunch based on the arrangement of some of the wiring.Taking a deep breath the Imperial Knight reached out with his senses, concentrating his focus on the object in his hands. He was not a master of psychometry however in this particular instance he had an advantage. There was a resonance between the broken weapon and the saber on his own belt, not the assembled that all Imperial Knights were issued but the more unique white an gold hilt that his armor's coloring had been based on and dated back to before Brock had even known of the existence of the imperial Knights. Following that thread of familiarity he gathered a flash of this and that, nothing solid but shadows moving on a background of smoke, leaving impressions rather than giving him full scene's of the owner's life. He stands silently in front of the other man with the force swirling around him for a moment as he processes the sense he gets from the weapon before finally opening his brown eyes and holding out the weapon to return to Theo. I am no master of Psychometry however I am certain that that saber is Corellian in origin His left hand briefly brushed his own second saber as he continued. Aside form that I can tell you that this wasn't the only saber your missing master carried, though it was well used. He was still alive when he was separated from it so it's possible that he's still alive. Other than that I only get a vague sense of danger and concern. It's not much but hopefully that gives you a few more hints to work on. The Imperial Knight had no ill will toward the Jedi and hoped that he would be found well and with all his limbs intact, in truth what impressions he got let Brock to believe he'd probably like the man if he ever got the chance to meet him in person. Some time ago...=Theomiir=The young man waiting patiently while Brock examined the damaged saber hilt. The Imperial's reactions and earnest responses quickly set the Jedi Knight at ease. Even as he suppressed his presence in the Force and therefore could not easily read the Imp, he knew enough about human (and Imperial) psychology to know that he was in no immediate danger from the Imperial Knight before him. When Brock had finished, Theo smiled slightly and reached out, gently taking the broken hilt back from the man. "Thank you. That is our assumption as well, from other evidence. We believe he was captured alive, by parties unknown, out in the Unknown Regions. After that, the trail goes cold." Bit by bit, as they conversed, the story came out, until it was obvious who Theo was (also a Jedi Knight of Corellia) and his intentions to search Imperial space for any further clues as to the whereabouts of Kel'Al Raganella. He listed off several specific planets as examples, but he knew ultimately the Force would be his guide, not guesswork. For his part, Brock re-assured Theo that the presence of a Jedi in Imperial space on personal business was not illegal and would not attract any undesired attention. In fact, the Imperial seemed somewhat tickled at the presence of a Corellian Jedi on High Port, and hinted that Theo should visit the Imperial Knights again someday, although he did not reveal why. While Theo did not reveal that Garqi, itself now an Imperial territory, was his homeworld, he suspected the Imperial Knight had guessed as much. Perhaps they had more in common than the young Jedi had realized. There was something strangely familiar about the man. With much to contemplate and his horizons expanded, Theo departed High Port and resumed his unending quest for the missing Jedi master.
