Well 401, if you are interested and free, I urge you to read through some of the Corulag stuff and get an idea of whats going on. This is going to take awhile longer IC and OOC

I doubt "hush, hush" will work as in my mind, wherever they go, the Holonet news crews follow to record the body count and demand inquiries/courtmarshals. The kind of army that you drop on a planet with a difficult insurgency/revolution to deal with quickly before it might spread to another planet. I may need to readjust their fleet/numbers when I take a look at the JvS army and fleet size rules. Either way, I do have at least one NPC kind of set up, sure. General Mikael Gonn. hush hush as in like Black Water, assets that don't get talked about much. It's the only angle we can work because . . . it's talked about much. But yea, if Sin is down for sparks to fly on Kuat, I would say that is your first stop. Unless you want to Corulag. Up to you, this is your experience. And no worries about the liberties taken, Nase, everyone is looking for healthy RP-- and if that helps, then perfect.

Actually, I'm going to have to say we're overloaded on the Republic/Sith/Jedi side. Perhaps after the Cold War starts would be a better time.

Why can't this just be a part of the Cold war. Wily Republic soldiers stepping out of line while helping relief efforts on Kuat? Seems like a good way to start/continue friction between the GR and DT.

... Because Kuat isn't over, thus the Cold War hasn't begun yet?

Exactly, we're still fighting the Mandalorians, the battle isn't over.

And no worries about the liberties taken, Nase, everyone is looking for healthy RP-- and if that helps, then perfect. I assumed you guys had your hands full with this so I didn't want to keep pressing this SL or making it big or whatnot, since no one was RPing on the planet to begin with. However since we're starting to talk about it and Atia brought it up, and you have a dubious legion of black-ops commandos… if you'd like to weave this story into Galactic Affairs, maybe mention it in the senate or something tat'd be swell. Ander and his GALSF people are already operating on the planet as private security contractors hired by the pro-Republic planetary government and they are launching their own investigation into what's going on there i.e.: civil unrest, signs of rebellion, people disappearing, acts of sabotage etc.
To be honest nothing MAJOR has happened yet, certainly not anything that realistically would merit the planetary govt./republic military force on the planet let alone you guys operating in the Senate.
IC this Revolution is also happening over several years, another reason for not making this a Republic issue because it might screw up your IC timeline compared to our accelerated IC timeline that spans years while you guys are seemingly focused on days and weeks around this Kuat thing.
But, if you have the writers and whatnot, i'm sure we can work more people into this and make it more dynamic and interesting for everyone involved

Kuat should be wrapped up in a few weeks. (I'm personally shooting for the beginning of February as I want to get the Cold War rolling since I enjoy politics way more than battle.)

Cihlbar: The 401st is a Republic is a Republic division. If you order me somewhere IC, I'll go there. And quite frankly I prefer it that way as politically, whoever signs that order is in for a world of political hurt in exchange for objectives that may be met. The cleanup could be more fun than whatever mission takes place!
Sin, Nase: I will not be dropping the 401st on Kuat or Corulag without both IC orders and OOC permission from either of you for your respective worlds. If this is something you'd like to explore in the future, then I will be happy to provide Republic scum for you to shoot at as part of a broader political storyline.

Not a problem dude, if this is something you and the Republic would like to be involved in then you will get my IC permission when we determine that Corulag has become enough of a shitstorm to warrant your attention. If this isn't important enough for the Republic writers then this can just be another tertiary event that is acknowledged but is part of the background

Guys, of course I am talking about AFTER Kuat is finished, you are right, sending relief aid before things are done doesn't make sense. But that's when the relief from the Republic is coming anyway. Unless you don't want it.
And I actually have no idea about what the Cold War is to begin with.
And this Chancellor profile is a simple IC figure head that I write to OOC serve the Republic writers to have a point person and personae to point to when people want to join, have a convo, chair the meetings etc. at best I help keep idea moving. nothing more. This is your writing experience as much as mine. So do as you will, those are just the ideas I have for you currently. If you want me to IC send you somewhere else then fine as well. Lemme know what I can do to help you, not the other way around. I am not a manager, but a servant leader here to serve you guys. Sin, if you don't want the writing fine. but everything that I have suggested comes AFTER Kuat, I'm sorry that wasn't evident. Nase, If the Republic writers as a whole want to get involved, that's their right and your prerogative to let them as someone who has claimed eminent domain; and if they want to I will do what I can to facilitate IC. But I am of the opinion that your coup only helps RP there regardless of what umbrella Corulag falls.

I kinda wanted to write coruscant, tottaly mixed it up with corulag, but I am happy it got some mention.
Yeah, the rebellion is just being staged, so not many people know of it yet, but who knows what would happen if it actually became a public item.
Koronov... would it be rude of me to ask someone else take care of Seleevan in Coruscant orbit?

Wonderful, thanks Cihbar, I will be in contact with your writers through this thread to let you know when the shit has hit the fan on Corulag and give you guys the opportunity to join in if/when you can

That's fine, Cihlbar. As soon we get Kuat buttoned up, I'll have Sin contact the Republic about aid and the return of the evacuated citizens.

Sin, could the 401 be involved in defending Kuat? Like they come to escort supplies, overstep and override direct orders and begin helping you fight the Mandos. You get ticked about an active military presence when you were promised there would be no military involvement... boom! Cold War politics.

Koronov... would it be rude of me to ask someone else take care of Seleevan in Coruscant orbit? Sorry, I was all ready to get back into this last week, and then I had another emergency to deal with. I am planning to post tonight but if you don't see a post from me in the next 48 hours, you can move on without me.

Actually, we are very heavy on the defending side. I have people standing around with nothing to do IC (literally, they are playing cards on open terrain).
