*She heard the clattering of moving objects within the bag as it was lifted, briefly drawing her attention. When asked to follow Eruestan, she obediently followed. Perhaps whatever was in said bag would be revealed at the lesson, if it was important enough for him to take with them.*

The door to Rai's room hissed open as the Cerean entered, taking in a deep breath, letting the cool air fill his lungs. He removed his brown traditional cloak and hung it on the coat rack by the door, moving to sit on his bed. The mattress molded to his body as he sat down, bending over to remove his boots.*
*Rai began humming to himself as he placed his boots neatly at the foot of his bed, removed his two lightsaber hilts and placing them on his bedside table. It had been a pleasant day, with no patients in the medical center. Although having no patients, meant there was no work for the Jedi Healer, which ultimately ended up in a boring day at work, Rai was happy knowing that there was nobody who needed any medical attention.*
*Rai often kept to himself. His passion was in helping and healing others, but at the end of the day, the Cerean took solace in his privacy and his thoughts. As he sat on his bed, in a cross-legged position, Rai closed his eyes as he continued to hum, feeling the comforting and warm presence of Ashla as it enveloped him with its grace.*
*Today was a good day. In fact, it was such a great day, Rai found himself wanting to go out and grab a drink with his old master, who was unfortunately tied up in the council chambers with whatever it was the council was needing to discuss today. Rai let his mind wander, falling into a light meditation with happiness and bliss on his mind...*
*Today was a great day. What could possibly go wrong?

Rai's eyes shot open, immediately snapping out of his mediation. He coughed, gasping for breath as he tried to shake the visions of darkness from his mind..... He had had a vision of a storm, strong and defiant, one of the worst Felucia had ever seen.... And he had sensed the doings of the darkside. The cold grip of the Darkside grasped at the Cerean's heart, but Rai closed his eyes and took a deep breath, finding relief and warmth through Ashla.*
*A crack of thunder shook Rai's bedroom window, threatening to shatter it with its strength. The Cerean, although in the present and no longer in his mediation, could still sense the Darkside, ominous and distant, but rapidly growing in strength, closing in with every fleeting moment. The planet itself, cried for help, falling victim to the raging maelstrom outside. Quickly, the Cerean jumped off his bed and began to dress himself when he received a message from the Grandmaster of the Order, calling all available Jedi to get to their posts. *
*He tied his boots, and grabbed his two lightsaber hilts, hastily clipping them to his waist, before he exited his room. The hallway was empty, and Cerean began to make his way to the exit. He had to get the Medical Bay... If there was a fight, there would no doubt be wounded... And the Jedi Healer knew his skills would be needed. He turned the corner to find a group of younglings cowering in a corner, scared witless. Even through they were young, and still naive to the Force, the Cerean undoubtedly knew they could sense the power of the Darkside.
"Younglings, get inside and lock the door. Don't open it for anyone, and I mean, anyone." Rai's voice was calm as he ushered the children inside, closing the door behind them. But his mind was whirling, there were no other knights around to defend these younglings, and Rai himself was not a swordsman. Immediately he plucked his com link from his utility belt and activated it.
"Come in, Master." His message began transmitting to Mike, who would know what to do. "I'm in the dorms, there are younglings here. I think I'm going to need an extra hand!"

I hadn't realized my former apprentice was on Felucia but a grin came across my face as his comm signal came in. Using his familiar presense in the force I begin to make my way toward the dormitories. ::Don't worry Kid, I'm on my way:: Was my quick reply as I made my way quickly through the maze of unfamiliar corridors to my former apprentice. After a couple minutes of running the familiar figure of the Cerean Jedi Knight came into view. Herding a group of younglings I had encountered nearby forward I make my way toward Raimundo, keeping my force senses spread out, waiting for any more signs of impending attack. I see that younglings are making their way back here. Any sign of mature Jedi nearby? I take a moment to take my flask out and take a long swig before offering it to Rai while he answerd my question. I was happy to see my apprentice, don't get me wrong, but now wasn't really time for happy greetings, something was very wrong on Felucia and we had to get really prepared very quickly.

Rai visibly relaxed at the sight of his former master. It had been quite some time since they had last been in each other's company, and Rai wished it was under different circumstances.
"It's just you and me, Master," He sighed, taking the flask from Mike's hand and bringing it to his lips. The liquor was strong, burning as it went down the Cerean's throat, but Rai welcomed it, taking a second drag before passing it back to Mike. "I'm glad you made it. I was worried I'd have to save the day all by myself." The Cerean briefly chuckled, trying to ease the tension before things became hot.

*A mother's worst fear: Her home under attack. Her children in danger. Alvis and Lucina both had felt the dark clouds overhead, both clinging to their mother as the boy cried and the girl whimpered. Cassie couldn't dare leave them behind, but nor did she wish to remain holed up here instead of providing much-needed help in defense of the temple. So when the door to the Calmcacil family quarters slid open, she almost reacted in defense until she saw the three girls standing in the doorway.*
"They're gonna need your help!" *said Michelle as she entered, followed by her twin Annabelle and her friend Shells.*
"Why aren't you with your brother?" *Cassie asked, even as she stood with both of her younger children in either arm.*
"We were training together and I know he'd want me to check on you first! But the base needs you!"
"We'll protect the kids!" *Annabelle declared, reaching out for a fussing Alvis.
Cassie only had the briefest hesitation before relinquishing her son to Annabelle, while Michelle pried Lucy free, saying,* "We'll hole up in the bedroom and barricade the door. Mina! Kayla! Where are you?"
"Right here!" *cried out the Calmcacils' oldest biological daughter as she ran in from one of the other bedrooms. Following her in silence was Mina, an expression that was equal parts fearful and determined on her face as she grasped her activated staff weapon.
Michelle only reacted by gesturing with her head towards the master bedroom.* "We're taking cover in there!"
*Kayla didn't need to be told twice, nodding before the eleven-year-old darted through the door. Mina followed shortly after, almost seeming eager to fight before thinking better of it. Cassie gently placed her hands on the faces of both of her youngest children, exuding a mother's calm into them as she said,* "You'll be safe with your aunts, little ones. Mommy will protect this place." *This seemed to work to some degree, though both children still squirmed and sniffled. Standing, Cassie nodded to the trio of teen girls.* "Thanks," *was the only thing she said before darting out into the halls, teal lightsaber lighting as the door sealed and locked behind her.
While the girls barricaded first the entrance to the quarters, then the master bedroom, Cassie sought out any other available Jedi. She would make her stand here alongside them, praying to the Force they would hold this place this day.*

Chuckling a little I take another swig from his flask as Rai hands it back. And I'm sure you'd do a mighty fine job at it, but you've got to let an old man get a few more heroics in. It was about then that the Grandmaster's Wife made her way out of the dorms, lightsaber blazing. With a flask in hand and wearing only my usual multi-pocketed mechanic's jumpsuit I probably didn't look like the most comforting defender. The contrasting shaggy white hair and steel grey beard probably didn't inspire much confidence either, but eh, it could be worse. Ignoring the impending doom for a moment I hold the flask out in her general direction. Drink? You look like you could use one. Never let it be said that I wasn't diplomatic.

Rai took a deep breath, centering himself in the comfort of Ashla, preparing for whatever was about to happen. Outside, the darkside maliciously swirled around the academy, the thunder and the high winds threatening to shatter the windows to the dormitories at any moment. The Cerean's right hand dropped to touch the hilt on his right hip. It was the hilt of his green lightsaber, housed with a Kasha crystal. Immediately, even with the weapon unlit, Raimundo felt a sense of ease, his mind clearing itself of distractions.*
*But he was hesitant to unclip it. Lightsaber combat and the Cerean healer didn't mesh together. Ever since his mission with Mike to Malachor V and their encounter with that strange Inferno character, Rai had distanced himself from his blade, leaning heavily into his abilities in the Force to help quell any dangerous situations that might arise.*
*It was then that Cassie came to their side, her lightsaber already activated. There were three Jedi here now, the children heavily barricaded in their rooms. Whomever was tasked to come hunt Jedi children would have one hell of a fight before he or she got to them. They were as ready as they could be, and now, they waited.

*"Relief" was not the right word to describe what Cassie felt upon seeing the other Masters. "Assurance" was more accurate; relief was out of the question until this apparent attack was repelled and her family's safety was guaranteed. However, even in the dire atmosphere, she couldn't help but scowl slightly at the rather strange offer of a drink from Master Mike Frantz before she simply shook her head.* "Not the time. I heard my husband's call, but have we learned anything else yet?"

I couldn't help but smile a little at the woman's scowl. I didn't exactly intend to annoy people with my customary greeting, but it was a nice side bonus from time to time. Sitting down on the floor with my back to a nearby wall I shake my head. Nothing new yet. I was with your Husband when we all felt the storm brewing, but we went our separate ways immediately afterwards. The storm makes it hard to feel individual signatures, but with effects like this I can only assume we are about to be attacked by a variety of very strong darksiders. My words come off with what might seem like casual indifference, as if I don't care that something very bad is about to happen. The opposite however is true. I am very concerned about any group of darksiders who are bold enough to come right into the heart of the Order and strike. The indifference however is me slowly drifting into my own personal Jedi calm. Now is not the time to dwell no the danger, now is the time to wait and be ready. I cross my legs and lean back against the wall, reaching out with the force, trying to make sense of the chaotic sendings all around us.
