The Nexus set down in the darkened hangar of the Temple, it's two beautifully curved legs settling on the concrete floors. As the sphere at the back of the craft opened, the boarding ramp extended from the base of the door with a loud, pneumatic squeal and the ratcheting of metal as the ramp extended. As Aderon stepped out of the craft, his eyes had a brief adjustment period to the darkness of this particular hangar. So far throughout his life, he had been used to vast, airy, well lit and equally well-appointed hangars. However, this particular space took on a much moodier, darker feel than he was used to.
Aderon did not know what he had expected, but the building style was certainly cohesive with what he had heard about this group. Efficient, dark, mysterious, and not particularly grand. It would certainly be something he would have to get used to, though thankfully, according to The Fallen, he would be safe to move about the galaxy as he needed, making this not so bad.
Glancing to his left and right, he could immediately tell that his craft was seriously out of place amongst the others in the Dark Jedi Order. The hangar was primarily filled with a mix of bulky, well armed, and well armored military craft, whose designers had clearly paid no attention to aesthetics, and who were all painted various drab shades of grey. Interspersed among these sorts of crafts were well worn down light freighters, most of which were Corellian, and so carried the rough, uncouth, industrial feel that was common in craft to come out of that festering planet. These crafts were pockmarked with both blaster and asteroid impacts, and their owners had evidently not cared much for maintaining the aesthetics of the ships. And, if they weren't damaged, they were extensively modified, further breaking up whatever visual appeal these ships may have had. Clusters of Predator-Class Fighters hung from the ceiling, looking for all the world like bats, and adding to the cavern-like feel of the space. All this stood in contrast to the graceful Solar Sailor, which was covered in immaculately polished bronzium, and looked for all the world like a vessel that had just been hand forged by some sort of artisan.
Brushing all this aside, Aderon stepped off the boarding ramp of his vessel, the door sealing up behind him as he did. Ensuring that nobody was in this room, he made his way to the blast doors of the chamber and opened them up, beginning to proceed further into the depths of this heavy, dark structure.

The droid commander of the Munificent looked on curiously as the Phaedra began to spin. A hail of laser fire shredded the other CR-70, with a number of pieces of the ship hammering against the particle shields of the Munificent. As Vulture Droids and Tri Fighters encircled the vessel, groups of buzz droid missiles could be seen being launched from the Tri-Fighters, skittering across the dark grey surface of the larger ship, attempting to find critical systems they could cut into. As the ship continued spinning, a group of fighters were caught by one of the protruding fins of the ship, dicing them to pieces. In spite of their best efforts, the fighters were unable to break through the groups of Praelia Starfighters. Shards of tan colored metal splintered to the left and right, a swarm of buzzards assaulting a behemoth. Smoke trails zipped in and out of the conglomeration of mechanical beasts swirling in a cyclone of screeching droids, roaring engines, laser fire, twisting metal, and explosions. The tactical droid was still convinced he was fighting civilians, as the Phaedra was not a recognized First Order vessel, nor was it a Republic vessel. As such, he was unable to deal with the strategies being utilized by the opposing admiral.
In the bowels of the Munificent was a single prison cell, guarded by a group of droidekas, B2 battle droids, and B1s as well. Within that cell was the very man these droids once bowed to. A young nobleman who had, at one point, possessed ambitious dreams of one day establishing a state free of tyrants. A state free of destruction, a state which could transcend beyond the current conflict that tore the galaxy apart. Where Light and Dark could coexist. And for a time, this was true. A state in which a man could benefit from the brilliance of his own mind, the strength of his own muscles, the might of his own will. He had thought that he had succeeded, that it was only a matter of time before he had carved out a nice little slice of the galaxy for men like himself. As the Galactic Alliance threw themselves on the First Order's sword, his state tore apart around him. His dream shattered, revealing the horrible truth behind it. Now he sat, musing over his failure, as the ship was shaken by numerous ion bursts. Following this, the ship shuddered, as power flickered off throughout the area. And the door lock, which was, in fact, electric. And, as it was bound to the ships power, there was a few moments before the emergency power kicked in. Wasting no time, he leaped up and blasted the door down using a wave of Force energy. Before the droids knew what was happening, he yanked his lightsaber from the table it was kept on. Flying through the air, it ignited in his hand, the cobalt blade illuminating his face as the low, greenish emergency lighting flickered on. The droids immediately began firing upon him, red laser blasts scorching the metal around him. Spinning the curved hilt in his hand, he deflected the shots, as he raised his other hand, pulling down a nearby gantry, crushing the droids beneath it. Cutting with ease through the door of the cargo bay, he began striding down the hallway leading to his former prison. Turning around, he had a thought. Picking up a nearby proton grenade, he threw it at the vulture droid fuel in the room, causing a massive explosion. As the bay doors automatically sealed, he turned back and walked down the corridor. As this happened, the fuel explosion ripped a hole in the side of the cruiser.../span] As the buzz droids attempted to assault the Phaedra, crew members were suited up and armed with rifles before being sent out to deal with the insects. Meanwhile, the starfighters and cannons continued to fire at the droid starfighters, working to punch a hole through the screen. Once it was large enough, the boarding shuttles were launched from the hangar bay. Crossing the void between the behemoth Star Fortress and the Munificent-class Cruiser. A pair of Indoctus-class Starfighters peeling off to guide the transports toward the main hangar bay of the Cruiser. Their torpedos firing at the edge of the hangar bay shield.
Bringing it down long enough for 2/3rds of the transports to make it through before the giant blast shield closed across the opening. The hatches of the transports popped open, allowing Zyara's forces to spill out. Their blades and blasters being turned upon the closest droids. Ifrit calmly strode out of his own transport, carrying his warglaives. Zyara at his side, firing her energy bow at any droid foolish enough to take aim at her masterHmm... What is this I sense...What had initially been no more than a ghost within the Force, how now developed into a full fledged being. But whether this presence was a friend or foe was hard to say just yet. The Separatists of old had still employed living commanders, despite their armies consisting almost entirely of droidsZyara, have your forces secure the bridge. There is something I wish to investigate...It shall be done! You heard The Fallen! Take the bridge!Ifrit turned his focus upon the oddity upon this ship. While the Sithspawn headed one way through the ship, he and Zyara took another path. Heading toward the brig. His blades almost effortlessly cutting through the droids that tried to get in his way. Corridor after corridor, he kept his path. Feeling the persons presence as they moved through the ship. Eventually however, their paths at last intersected at either ends of a long open corridor. Zyara drawing her bow, as Ifrit readied his blades. His vision within the Force expanding out to examine the manStop! Aderon, who was at this point running down the hall cursing his luck that he was on the one Separatist transport that would be ambushed by an enemy power, barely managed to stop before he crashed into the massive, demonic form of The Fallen. A bit startled, he took a few steps back before leveling his lightsaber at the near-human. His light blue lightsaber blade humming with his newfound power. Assuming a Makashi En Garde stance, Aderon prepared to drop his cloak in order to duel this man and his female companion."And you would be?"

Out of hyperspace came an single solar sailer. As the teardrop shaped ship came out of hyperspace, the two prongs on the top and bottom of the vessel folded backwards, and the massive solar sail came out of the ship. Picking up the solar energy from the nearby star, the ship began being propelled forward. In the glass bubble cockpit of the ship, a droid opened a hailing frequency to the planet's surface.
This is the Nexus, belonging to the Count of Aquila, responding to an invitation to the Great Hunt. An approach vector would be appreciated.
In the small library area, Aderon sipped a glass of wine while perusing a book about Coruscant. His interest in that planet had been piqued by his interactions with the mysterious Elizabeth Olphen, and it couldn't hurt to learn all he could about the planet. After all, it could very well be the place he put his flag. But that would have to wait, for hhe saw the ominous shape of Nal Hutta looming in the window. Sighing, he closed his book and made ready to land.

Aderon could sense something was off about her response. Without his abilities, it would have been nearly impossible to spot. Clearly, she had some experience when it came to lying. However, with the Force as his ally, he could, to a degree, tell truth from lie. And she was hiding something. Speeders zipped about outside the clear glass as this mental duel began unfolding. Aderon, picking up his glass from the table. Racking his brain, he tried to remember where he knew her from. There were feelings he couldd remember, emotions. In one instance, she carried with her a sense of properness; an instant later, she was familiar and intimate. Perhaps they had been friends at one time? Try as he might, he could not remember. The memories merely small imperfections in the fluid consciousness of the Count, like the tiny imperfections in a glass of Pinot Noir. Either way, it meant he would have to be unique in his approaching this.
"Alright, Mistress of Mystery, I'll play your game."
He would have to address everything but the matter at hand in order to get her to open up. Thankfully, he had met many people who required him to do the same in the past, so he knew what to do. Swirling his glass, he examined her choice of wine.
"Good choice, the Riesling, though I prefer reds myself."

As he looked about, he noticed a woman briefly glance at the pin on his lapel, before returning to her drink. Ordinarily, he would have paid it no mind, but he could feel something special about her. The power of the force within her. This was curious in itself, but even more curious was the fact that she seemingly recognized the pin. It was not something that people outside a very select group would recognize, part of the reason they were created. If she was also wearing one, it would immediately be understood that she was a member of the galaxy's nobility, but she was not. In fact, she resembled no noble family he had ever seen in his life. But in some way, she felt familiar. The striking blue eyes, the chocolate brown hair, the energy he could feel through the force; it all seemed far too familiar for a complete stranger. He pondered for a few moments as to whether he should pursue this. It could very well be that this was all some sort of unlikely coincidence. However, he vaguely remembered something he heard somewhere; that the force never moved by accident, and that nothing ever happened by coincidence. Stepping forward, he nonchalantly approached her. She seemed to be aware of this, and turned to face him. There seemed to be a spark of curiosity in her eyes, as well as her having a similar case of deja vu as him. She gestured for him to sit across from her wordlessly, as if attempting to see what she could make out in him that seemed so familiar to her. Worked just as well for Aderon; he was trying to do the same. Sitting down, he placed his glass on the table, the dark, swirling of the Pinot Noir contrasting with the perfecty serene, unmoving surface of her Riesling.
"Do I know you from somewhere?"

The bar in question, named Miroirs, was a stately establishment. Brightly lit, it was a distinct contrast to many of the establishments deeper on the planet, Not that the count would know, as he strode along the white marble floors. The marble was outlined in black stone, and the room was segmented into three spokes coming off a raised central platform. These three spokes took up approximately two thirds of the area of the circle, with the remainder taken by the elevated platform. On the far side of this platform were two doors leading to a balcony overlooking the city. At this altitude, it had to be airtight, but the seamless, perfectly polished glass, combined with the constant pumping of fresh air into the room and concealed heat lamps and fans to match the outdoor weather systems gave the impression of being outside. Above these doorways were two seemingly elliptical forms, which were actually composed of light green rectangles. These contained a light on their underside, brightly illuminating the doorways to the "outdoor" section. The central spoke he was in contained the entrance to the bar, along with two tables that sat two, each with two patrons sitting at them. Freshly cut pink flowers that were delivered every morning broke up the brown color scheme of the tables. On each of the other spokes there were two more tables, as there was no need for an entrance area. The stairs had lights built into the centers of the vertical faces, and were topped with the same material as the tables, leading up to an elevated marble platform. Two massive red columns with silvery bases rose out of the ground alongside the stairs where the dividing walls ended, and alongside each of these columns was one table apiece. At the center of the room rose an open cylinder made, yet again, of the same material as the tables, and here was the bar itself. On a backlit panel at the top of this cylinder was the word "Miroirs" in silver lettering, and the bar countertop itself was segmented into parts by a silvery frame. Each of these segments had two barstools and a light each, while behind the counter, in a smaller cylinder contained within the larger one, were a four layered shelf with all manner of alcohols for sale. A human bartender stood by in case of special orders, while a team of shiny silver robots worked to provide the highest standard of beverages. Making his way to the bar, Aderon ordered a Pinot Noir, which was delivered to him swiftly in an expertly polished glass with an extremely thin gold trim. Taking his glass, he weaved past the handful of people actually wealthy enough to drink here to make his way onto the balcony to find a place to sit.

The glittering towers of Coruscant were in many ways reminiscent of the architecture of Carannia. Heavyset buildings, constructed of glass, metal, and stone. Highly decorated, with ornate statues, gilding, and designwork. Aderon had a flat in 500 Republica, specifically for the purpose of serving as a home away from home, at least while on Coruscant. And with the collapse of his kingdom on Serenno, this was as good a place as any to think things over. Entering the small sky-lobby that serviced his flat, as well as the three nearest to it, Aderon strode across the elegant tile floor, covered in diagonal white and green squares, outlined in gold, stepping onto the reddish carpet that surrounded the two potted trees and the fountain at the center of the room. Looking into the granite structure of the rectangular plinth that rose from the ascending tiers of slightly raised floorspace, obscured by the turquoise color of the water, he picked out the skyline of Coruscant lightly carved into this, a depiction of the glory that surrounded this city. A businessman sat nearby to the fountain, evidently waiting patiently for someone, presumably a business partner, for him to commence a meeting. The walls, made of a black stone, had columns made of granite reaching to the arched skylight of the atrium, with stepped limestone on both sides of each of the massive structure, with two circular lights inlaid in each of them. On the ground, spaced halfway between the bases of these pillars were more potted trees, and on the walls above these trees were statues of winged men protruding from the wall made of a sable material, attempting to free themselves from the walls to which they were attached. Even further above these statues were two balconies. The left one had entrances to this section of the tower's bar and restaurant, the doors split in half down the center, with a blue half egg reaching from the bottom and a red half egg reaching from the top, with the intersecting area being a cream color, with slightly darker colored rays emanating from a golden circle at the center. On the right balcony, there was a conference room and a theatre, both with the same doors as the other side. Potted trees stood at each end of the balcony, and a man and woman stood on the balcony outside the bar, simply staring into each other's eyes. Elaborate lamps, composed of squares that increased in width, then decreased, with lines running vertically up and down the fixtures, hung from the bottoms of the balconies, as well as from the ledges above the balconies. On the columns, two more circular lights were built into the granite, shining light onto the balconies. After being lost in thought for a while, Aderon walked forward towards the end of the massive room. A small structure with a framed ceiling stood at the end of the room. A man in a black uniform stood at the door to this structure, which also looked identical to the doors on the balcony. Shooting up from this structure were six glass tubes, with golden rings spaced evenly on them, split equally on the left and right sides, with a column rising through the middle of them. And on that column was a massive golden statue of a winged man, reaching towards the sky, his massive wings reaching nearly to the balcony level. As he neared the door, the uniformed man keyed in a code on a concealed panel next to the door. The two halves of the door slid to the left and right, allowing access to the elevators themselves. The two elevators farthest from the center led to their respective balconies, while the other four led to the different suites serviced by this atrium. Entering the middle tube on the right, he pressed a button on the elevator car, and it shot out of the atrium. Speeding silently up the building, the glass tube and car allowed a view of the now dark city. Many lights shone throughout the Galactic City, where the tower was located, outlining the beautiful architecture of this zone of the city. As he did, he began to ponder what his choice would have upon his personal life. The Dark Jedi. Thankfully, the organization respected individualism, and would ultimately allow him to live the life he chose, so long as it did not interfere with his work. Not like the Sith, who would aim to control every aspect of his life. But would he ever be able to live normally again? Would he ever be able to enjoy society, have friends, even love? These were questions he simply did not have an answer to.
Being shaken out of thought by the stopping of the elevator, and the doors silently pulling aside, he stepped into his suite, and walked past the water features in the entrance of the flat. Walking through the foyer of the apartment briskly, he entered the massive central room of the flat. With a pool in the center of the room, and rooms projecting off the center, he made his way up the stairs to the second level that overlooked the pool, entered bathroom, took a shower in the marble bath, stepped out, and changed into his formal wear, consisting of white breeches, a white doublet, and a black jerkin with golden buttons, and a white cape. Golden cufflinks and very thin golden chain attaching the two ends of the cape together. Stepping back into the elevator, he made his way down to the atrium, before entering the far elevator on the left, taking it up to the balcony, and approaching the door of the bar. Taking a deep breath, he took a step forward, and the door slid open noiselessly, revealing the room inside...

The Aegilis Starfighters pushed their engines hard to dodge the incoming fire as they twisted and turned, with only a couple starfighters losing out to stray fire. The Indoctus Starfighters maintained their courses as they came around the flanks of the vulture droids. The Praelia Starfighters split into two group then, with half moving to engage the new tri-fighters. Several of the Turbolasers turned toward the thickest part of the vulture droid swarm and fired.
The Phaedra meanwhile barely budged as the incoming fire from the Munificent and remaining CR-70 reigned down upon it. Proving why it was called a Star Fortress. As its smaller adversaries moved to try and get above it, the Phaedra initiated a roll. Keep its port side facing the enemy to fire another volley toward the CR-70. Meanwhile, the Ion Cannons fired once more toward the Munificent as the tractor beam operators started confirming locks upon the capital ship. Its new positioning having worked to their advantagePrepare the boarding craft! Immedeately, the massive swarm of vulture droids activated. Chirping back and forth to one another, about half of them activated and began screening the area between the Phaedra and the convoy. While they were clearly active, they were not attacking yet. Clearly, they didn't want to get into any unneeded conflict. Small flashes of color zipped through the space between them, circling the Phaedra loosely, in order to prevent making it seem like an attack. On the bridge of the Munificent, a tactical droid stepped forward to the communications console, he looked blankly at the screen before ordering a droid to open a hailing frequency to the ship. This is tactical unit ADS-164. This is a Separatist operation. Stay out of our way or you will be annihilated. Vulture droids have been deployed...All pilots on deck! Prepare to launch!Aye Admiral! All pilots launch!Within moments, the pilots had made their way from their standby stations to their ships. An array of Aegilis-Class Starfighters, Indoctus-Class Starfighters, and Praelia-Class Starfighters sped out of the hangar bays of the Star Fortress, their shields powered and guns ready. As the response came through from the tactical unit, Ifrit turned his head to face in the direction of the speaker. A savage smile forming as he moved over to the control unit. Admiral Blackheart quickly stood aside to allow the Fallen to do as he wishedYou think you can annihilate us? With what you have? What a joke... I look forward to crushing you like the tin can that you are!He cut the line then, moving back around the command console to where he first stoodAll squadrons are to engage the Vulture droids, target the CR-70's first, and lock onto that Munificent with our tractor beams, I do not want it escaping! As you command my lord! The orders were passed down the chains of command in an instant. The Aegilis Starfighters took off into the Vulture droids, picking out targets to chase down and begin firing upon. The Indoctus Starfighters split up in two and started firing their proton torpedos as their dual heavy laser cannons spun up and started firing. The Praelia Starfighters meanwhile started engaging the bulk of the Vulture Droids.
The shields of the Phaedra powered up then, preparing for incoming fire as 3 of the Octuple Barbette Turbolasers and several Heavy Turbolasers took aim at the left CR-70, while as many guns took aim at the right CR-70. As soon as close enough locks were confirmed, the cannons fired. Meanwhile, the tractor beam operators started working to lock onto the Munificent, as a handful of Heavy Ion cannons fired at the ship The Tactical Droid, responding with cold, calculated efficiency, immediately ordered the Munificent to climb up towards the area above the Phaedra, while the oversized blaster cannons on the front of the ship began pounding fire into the opponents. The entire swarm of Vulture Droids launched, along with several squadrons of Tri-FIghters, charging towards the opposing ships head on. One CR-70 was almost immediately blown to pieces, while the other successfully maneuvered out of the line of fire and joined the Munificent in racing above the slower, bulkier Phaedra. The turbo laser fire scarred the vessel, but it continued on, a bit worse for wear.

In the open space near Sullust, a small convoy of Separatist warships emerged from hyperspace. Specifically, a single Munificent-Class Cruiser, escorted by two CR-70 corvettes of unknown origin. Ships like these made the trip from Geonosis to Utapau quite often. After the rout of droid forces from Serenno at the hands of numerous warlords, the rapid surrender of the planetary security forces to this group, and the stowage of the majority of the droid armies in underground facilities, the retreating pro-Separatist forces had been forced to make a break for Geonosis. Even there, however, they were not safe, and although they still had control over the majority of the planet, it was evident that this would most likely not last. And so, key assets were being moved to their ultimate stronghold, Utapau. There, the Separatist presence was still very strong, and they would be unlikely to be shaken from that particular planet any time soon. These were done in these fast, hard to detect convoys, which would quickly criss cross between the planets, shuttling materiel from Utapau to feed the furnaces on Geonosis and carrying droids and assets back to Utapau.
Aboard this particular ship was a most important asset indeed. A Count of Serenno, he had ultimately been dislodged from his position in one of the most spectacularly catastrophic defensive actions in history. The seriously underequipped, undertrained, and outnumbered Serenno Security took on the vast legions of droids. They had been trained for police work and riot control, not for fighting massive battles against large foes; and so, the droids' former leader had been captured by the droids themselves. There was quite a bit of irony in that, and it still made Aderon chuckle a bit. Following the sacking of Carannia, he had been kept imprisoned in what remained of his palace, until it had been lost to the warlords. Since then, he had been in a cell, in one of the hives on Geonosis. However, this wasn't all bad, as it gave him a chance to contemplate all that had happened and find some way in his mind that things did not go so horribly wrong. And then, he had been moved onto this ship a day past, and had overheard that he was being moved to Utapau. This slightly troubled him, as he knew escape would be... difficult, once they reached the planet. And so, he had been devising an escape plan. So far though, nothing had come to fruition...

As a general rule, I usually just compared the volume they’d take up, and factored in special equipment such as the giant racks for TIEs, etc. It’s a bit of a minimalistic approach, but hey, it works.
