Focusing on the presence, she was able to pick up bits that reminded her of another presence that had arrived a few months before. This one was stronger, but definitely held the same feeling. She had to have been training. Being an Imperial Knight meant protecting the Emperor. She had come to keep eyes on those who came, especially those who took up residence within the Estate. Though Nicademus had put Sith into ranking positions, the Knights didn't trust them. While training with Gavin had brought about a respect for them, she kept up with all the Sith that roamed the halls, just in case any tried to betray the Emperor.
"I recognize the presence. Her name is Aleena Mirax. She came to the Estate a few months ago, seeking to be trained by the Sith. It was only a few days before she left with her master, the Grand Inquisitor for Thule, though they haven't returned really. The Inquisitor did return a few days ago, but left almost as quickly as he arrived, maybe stayed a day."

*Without turning his head, his eyes focused behind him, though he wouldn't be able to see anything.* "I see. Well, I think its time to draw her out and see just what she wants. Follow me." *From the streets, he lead Anya out of the city and into the wilderness just outside where there would be no one to watch.*

The team was finally assembled. The four members of the team had arrived on planet months apart from each other & from completely different sectors of space. Each had settled down into different careers once on the planet. There was, in short, nothing to distinguish the four beings from the hundreds of refugees & other drifters that settled down on the planet every day. However, one day in particular, the four of them vanished quiet suddenly into the back alleys of the city. Clean as clockwork, the four arrived at a certain unremarkable alley, after a few seconds of quiet muttering, the four left again together.
Less than forty minutes after they vanished, four computer technicians passed through the first check point in the building that housed the data files & construction details for the products created by the Kuat Drive Yards & its subsidiaries. Getting in had been the easy part. Now came the fun part.

The goal was to get in, get the data, & leave without anyone ever realizing that anything had happened. Once they were in, the four split up almost immediately again. It was amazing where you could go with the correct uniform, boring features, & a complete sense of purpose. Very few people stopped technicians that looked busy.
The first two slipped into an out of the way supply closet. Before getting started, they took a minute to loosen their clothing & ruffle up their hair. If discovered, the appearance would be a pair of techs slipping off to a quiet place for some personal time. Once they looked suitably ruffled, a small computer terminal was set up so that it would be hidden behind the door if the door was opened. Setting to work, the duo began the delicate work of bypassing the security for the data vault they were looking for.
The remaining pair made their way, slowly but purposefully, toward the vault. They would need to time it so that the first team had enough time to insert the codes on their security cards into the system. Otherwise they would not be able to enter the vault & would likely summon security. At the same time, they couldn't be seen to drag their heels either.

The computer team worked quickly & by the time the main team reached the entrance to the vault, their code had already been entered into the system. The vault rooms were fairly large & if one were to try & search it manually, it would take weeks to find a particular data drive. Fortunately for the infiltrators, they had no intention of searching manually. It had taken a fair bit of work, but the team had located the filing code for the design they were looking for, as well as the layout used in the vault itself. A quick check with the drives just out of sight from the entrance confirmed their intelligence about the layout. Using the memorized directions, the pair quickly made their way into a deep & from the looks of it, seldom used part of the vault. True enough the drive was exactly where it should have been. A few dangerous minutes passed as the data was copied into a pair extremely small memory units. Once the copy was complete, the memory units were slotted into the bottoms of a pair of ordinary looking commlinks. Even under close observation, the piece would look like a perfectly normal part of the commlink. If something went wrong, only one of the agents would need to escape in order to get the plans out. Once that was done, the pair returned the way they came.
There was no trouble at all in striding confidently back out of the vault. Back with the computer team, they entered the security system one last time to remove the codes they had implanted. With that done, they quickly packed up their equipment & straightened out their appearances. A few moments later & they left the closet looking no different that when they entered. Less than ten minutes had passed between the time the two teams separated & when they rejoined. A few minutes after that & they had passed safely back out of the facility & into the general population. Once hidden in the alleys, another quick round of copying saw each agent with a copy of the plans. With that done, the group wandered off their separate ways. By the end of the day, not one of them would still be on the planet.
Even if someone had managed to catch one of the agents & discovered the memory unit, it would only cause confusion. The agent would quickly perish once capture became inevitable, & the person would be left wondering what some unknown group wanted with a heavy tank design from nearly a hundred & fifty years ago. After all, the AT-TE design was far from modern.

The Resurgeance had dropped into Orbit above Kuat alongside the First Order's 9th Fleet, which had consisted of an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer, a pair of Victory II-class Star Destroyers, five Imperial II-class Frigates, a pair of Raider-class Frigates, and an Immobilizer 418 cruiser. It was a show of force, and one that had worked for the most part. What few defences that had been in orbit had conceded to the First Order force. But the ground was an entirely different story.
Chaos had broken out on Kuat. Since the Empire had been dissolved under Nicademus' command, several of Lord Sinistra's Sith lieutenants had taken over. They had tried to reform the Empire by press ganging Kuat locals into their new Stormtrooper corp. Riots had ensured as the local populace had decided enough was enough.
Harnan sat atop his AT-AHT, the First Legion along with the Twenty Fifth and Hundred and Thirty First arrayed in their formations behind and on either side of him. He could see the chaos erupting within the city from where he was positioned. It was time to bring some Order, and deal with the Sith that were at the root of all of this. With a motion of his hand, the combined Legions moved on the city.
With the local forces occupied by the riots, they had not seen the approaching First Order forces until it was too late. Harnan launched himself from the top of the AT-AHT as it drove deep into the city. He had almost been worried this would end without a fight. But the presence of the Sith and such an uneasy climate had meant otherwise.
TIE/fo's and TIE/sf's made strategical bombing runs and air raids against the Sith forces. This helped free the way for the First Order forces to push deeper towards the central building. Harnan and a detachment of Riot Control Troopers were some of the first to arrive. He could already feel the presence of all the Sith within. By his guess, there was close to ten of them. And they would all die.
He charged through the front doors first, his lightsaber spear reaching past the first Sith's lightsaber and impaling the red twi'lek female. The Riot Control Troopers filed in, forming a wall with their shields. Several of the troopers drew their Batons as the line advanced on the Sith. Even with such an overwhelming force facing them, the Sith did not surrender. A fact Harnan cherished, as he slaughtered them all.
When the last of the Sith was killed, the First Order managed to gain control of Kuat City and establish some peace. A new Governor and government was instituted, meanwhile, the bodies of the Sith were raised up on crucifixes around the main government hall. As a warning to any who thought themselves powerful enough to challenge the First Order and the Knights of Ren. With Kuat secured, the First Order now had access to the Orbital Shipyards

Empire Day... a holiday celebrated by the Old and New Empires, a holiday revived by the First Order, whose banners flew high above the former Estates of Ten and within the confines of Kuat City. Stormtroopers marched in perfect array down the main street, saluting the appointed governor of Kuat, a native of the planet herself and an Imperial to her very core. Crowds cheered with great celebration and jubilee, happy to be under the guidance and rule of their Emperor, Nicademus Delvardus IV. Kuat was not only a world important for its shipyards, but because of its recent Imperial history, serving as a capital for a defunct Galactic Empire. When the Empire was dissolved and the soldiers followed Nicademus, Kuat was left in a sea of disorder, in the wake of the Republic's fall. But then, the day came when Imperial warships returned, reclaiming the planet and making it a secondary capital of the First Order. Order was restored, law was restored, and the Imperial pride of Kuat was restored.

Captain's Log, star date seven two five two zero one eight. After a long campaign helping the First Order conquer territory afar from home, I am at long last returning to Kuat. What state I will find my beloved home in, I do not know... But the Emperor has assured me that she is well and returned at last to true Imperial custody. But currently, the position of her custodian remains vacant. I cannot allow this opportunity to be missed...
In an unassuming backroom in an unassuming bar in an unassuming part of Kuat City, Captain Ze'e strode in and took a seat at a table. An overcoat covered his Imperial Uniform and rank insignia which he had chosen to wear, despite the nature of the work he was about to conduct. The First Order was a large machine, with many cogs working toward one purpose. The complete conquest of the Galaxy and implementation of Imperial Law.
It was a noble dream, and one Ze'e wished to come to fruition. He had spent a good deal of his career with the First Order commanding a noble vessel in an active status. Helping expand the fledgling Empire's territory through Imperial Space, the Unknown Regions and at last, down through the Core Worlds. But now, he longed for home. But even here, his work was not done. For there sat a vacancy in the world's Imperial Ownership that remained open. While the Emperor had assured him that his efforts would not go unnoticed. Ze'e never liked to trust in luck.
Especially when he had one contender. A man by the name of Major Wor'rk Lie'ef. A man that Ze'e had eternally been a rival of. The pair had faced off countless times for promotions and positions. But where Ze'e had noble intentions for the First Order's advancement. Wor'rk only sought betterment for himself and his fortunes. But all that rivalry would end soon. Ze'e would make sure of it as he sat and waited for @melon to arrive

She has received an anonymous client who wanted to meet her in a bar on Kuat. This usually never ended well. The last time she had such a meeting, it ended with her being forced to kill the bartender. Still, she would observe the bar’s no weapons policy, carrying only her holdout pistol and knife. Even with just these things, she was more than a match for many individuals. As she walked along the streets of Kuat City, she was very clear with her presence. As a member of the aristocracy on Serenno, she had no reason to not be here. No one could make the connection between “Évêque”, the stage name she had chosen, and Angeline Pacci. They were two different people. Several people stopped to gaze at her impressive figure. She flashed a smile at them and left them as she entered the bar. She went by all the off-duty soldiers and made her way into the back room. She noticed a man in a cloak. She could immediately tell he was military. Shee could tell by the haircut. “You are the person I’m supposed to be meeting, yes?”

Ze’e had taken a seat at the table and a drink had just been delivered to him as the platinum blonde haired woman entered. His gaze travelling across her conservative, but functional attire. He could appreciate an assassin that dressed as a mercenary should dress. Not that he could complain about the less conservative women. They had a certain attraction and allure. But so too did Évêque, in her own way. He motioned from her to the seat opposite him at the table “Come my dear, have a seat... I most certainly am the person you are meeting”

Évêque looked over the commander. He was certainly a very regimented individual, through her womanly charms clearly had some effect, as evidenced by his manner of speaking. She would attempt to use this to her advantage. Smiling at him, she sat down across from him, crossing her legs and feigning a degree of interest by roaming her eyes across him. “I received word that you may be in need of my... services.”

Ze’e has to chuckle at Évêque’s actions as she sat down and looked him over. They were both trying to see who was more genuinely interested in the other. Truth be told, Ze’e could admire her charms, but he had long ago promised himself to another. Nothing would sway him from that commitment “That depends, what kind of services do you offer? Ones of the body...” He smiles broadly then. Amused by the idea she might think he was being serious with that suggestive comment “Because if so, you’ve come to the wrong place. I need someone taken care of, with the business end of a rifle. They say you’re the best...”

"Well, the enemies of my clients tend to end up mysteriously dead..." She was glas Ze'e had ended their little game when he had. Nothing to interfere in business naturally. She remained where she was sitting, but began leaning back into the chair. This was often how she potrayed herself; some stupid noble who didn't know a thing about the real world. She had used her families wealth to fuel her career an an assassin. "I'm sure we can work something out..."

Ze'e might have laughed at her comment a few moments ago. But now was the time for business and not jokes. He produced a credit chip containing a large sum of credits, and slid it across the table toward Évêque. Nodding toward the chip for her to examine "Well, hopefully yet another one will join that unfortunate list of people..." He slid a flimsiplast printed image of Wor'rk toward the woman then. Allowing her to study her next target "He is going to be at a rally in two days, which will be filled by anti-imperial supporters. A civic duty must be done to protect the First Orders interests from falling into the hands of a traitor... Wouldn't you agree?"

Évêque was wealthy enough that she did not take jobs she didn’t want to do. She also didn’t care much for Ze’e’s politics, so was only really inclined to take the job due to the fact that it would help secure a more stable government, something she was all for. However, stability without a little bit of chaos would put her out of the job. Hence she helped both sides, letting none of them get a significant advantage over the other. Perhaps one day it would be Ze’e in the crosshares of her sniper rifle. For today, though, she was helping the man. “Indeed... perhaps it is time he becomes acquainted with my rifle.” She picked up the credit chip, toying with it before putting it in a small pouch on her waist. “Very well, Ze’e. I will deal with your... problem.”

Ze'e appreciated her professional demeanor. She wasn't one for messing around and toying with a client. That was how things should be run. Straight forward and to the point. None of that nonsense about messing with someone's mind, or shouting about free speech and populist agenda's. The galaxy was filled with infants that required a firm hand to guide them from chaos into order. And these days, that firm hand was the First Order "I'll be watching... Good day Miss Évêque..." He inclined his head toward her before rising from his seat and heading out the back of the bar, flanked by a pair of undercover guards. He now had the final piece for his plan set in motion. Now he could claim his rightful place

All seemed quiet in Kuat City as life carried on as usual. Nothing more than the day to day norms as the Imperials worked to keep Kuat flourishing and free from trouble of any kind. Yet the commonplace scene was interrupted as a man burst out of a bar not far from the outskirts of the city. Breath heavy and nearly tripping over himself as his feet met the street, he turned long enough to see a large shadow standing in the doorway. Not desiring to stick around, he took off, looking to hide in the forest outside of the city.
Not once did the man's hurried pace lessen as he moved, the grand buildings of the city slowly fading, becoming smaller the further he went. He wasn't far away, just a few hundred meters and he could disappear among the brush and wait for everything to settle down. But how was it that he was found? He was assured that none would know him, that his identity was a safeguarded secret. Either he had been lied to or someone went to great lengths to figure out the truth. Whatever the reason for this turn of events didn't matter, however. The one and only priority was survival.
His heavy panting was growing heavier with each step he took now. He couldn't recall the last time he had to ever run this hard or this fast. He could have sworn he had been at it for over five minutes, not once slowing down, not even to glance back. Still, he felt that he had to have gained some distance from the bar and the shadow that pursued him. Letting himself relax for just a moment, he slowed himself down just enough to slip into an alleyway so as to keep hidden as he looked behind him. Just as he had hoped, not a soul was behind him. The man gave a smirk for only a moment before the strange sensation that he was still being followed settled upon him.
Suddenly, the light of the sun darkened above him for a split second, causing him to turn his attention upwards. Moving back out into the street, he looked along the rooftops, trying to see what was causing the adjustments in the light. He had to look for only a moment before the silhouette of a hulking figure at the edge of the rook, peering down at him. The man fell back onto the ground at the sight and quickly scrambled to his feet as the chase began once again. Looking back as he went, he could see now why he had seemed to not be followed and the being appeared where it did. Without missing a beat, his pursuer was jumping from rooftop to rooftop, keeping up with his pace without seemingly any effort.
Fear rose within him as he cut down an alleyway in an attempt to lose the one that gave chase. While the alleys were much closer than the street, perhaps moving through them quickly and constantly adjusting his course could throw off his pursuer until he finally reached the forest. He was so close now, he knew that he could make it. Just a little further.
However, that hope turned to despair as he came up to a dead end. Looking in all directions, nothing provided an exit except the way he came. It was but a few moments before he decided to take off back down that path, still feeling as he had a chance. But he was only able to make it a couple of feet before coming to a stop. Above him, he saw that his pursuer had already caught up to him. For the good he had hoped it did, it amounted to nothing as he had lost no one. He took a few steps back, placing him up against the wall as he watched the man step up onto a wire that connected the building, skidding along it for a second before jumping off at the center. The being flipped once before landing, crouching only slightly before standing tall before him. Now, in the bright light, he could see the one after him. Standing tall at what to seem a little over six feet was a man built with large muscles. The green tone of his skin that reflected in the sunlight suggest Mirialan though none of the tattoos they wore were present. Ruffled black hair fell slightly over a single blue eye and a gold rob that replaced the other.
After a few moments of standing there still, he finally began his approach, his pace slow, casual, and heavy. A smirk grew on the pursuers face as he stopped when only a couple of feet away. When he spoke his voice was deep and gruff. "So are you done running? I don't mind a good chase now and then, but playtime is over. Anything to say before we conclude?”
The man who had been chased said nothing, only collapsing to the ground, mumbling unintelligible chats of mercy. With the faintest chuckle and quick shake of his head, the pursuer cracked his neck. "Well, that's a bit anticlimactic. Still, a job's a job. Time to collect." Opening his right hand a bit, he continued speaking. "Khosala Am'ka, command line." As he said these words, the gun at his right side flew off of his leg and into his hand with a hum, signifying it had come to life. Holding it out in front of him towards the frightened man, the words continued on. “Targeting, maximum execution.”
As the gun remained pointed at the pleading man, a sight system emerged from the end near the barrel. It seemed basic and he didn't even try looking down it, not that it mattered at such close range. However, the golden orb in his right eye socket spun forward, the back of it coming to the front before spinning as if to turn something upside down right side up. When it did, a red R began to glow before he fired. With the command of maximum execution, the gun charged a full powered shot, unleashing a blast that was powerful enough to erase the man's head. The targeting sight then lowered and he held it up, blowing the smoke away before spinning it as he dropped his arm. When it reached his waist, he let go as it placed itself back on his leg on its own.
Reaching down, he grabbed the necklace from the corpse's body before turning and disappearing from the alley.

Since executing his target, Rioux walked down the road at a slow, leisurely pace. He wasn't in any rush to get anywhere, nor was he concerned about being caught for taking the man out. The area was most secluded and far enough in the alleys that it'd only be after a few days of rotting that anyone would finally take notice. Once the authorities did their work and were able to identify the man, they would see he was nothing but a criminal, most likely one that had been evading them for a while if the information he got when taking the job was anything to go off of.
Making his way into the center of the city, where some of the higher class citizens resided, he stopped at the entrance to a bar. He glanced over the sign before heading inside. He had got in contact with the one who gave him the job, telling him it was done. It was here that the man wanted to meet. It was what one expected from a bar for the rich: nice and uptight. He got more than a few glances of disgust as he made his way through the establishment, not waiting for anyone to welcome him. Music drowned out most of the conversations he passed, making this place a perfect spot for setting up deals and jobs. Definitely a good place for business.
Reaching the back of the building, he stopped at a table with a single man sitting there. The man glanced up, eyeing Rioux for a moment before he tossed the necklace of his target onto the table before the client. The man looked it over for a few moments before giving a smirk and a small chuckle. Pocketing the necklace, he motioned for Rioux to take a seat. As he did, he watched the man's hand return with a credit chit and slid it across the table to him.
"I must say I'm impressed. You found him so quickly and was able to rectify the situation. Others have tried to find him, only to never do so. Those that do end up losing him or getting killed. Do tell, how did you accomplish it so easily."
Rioux pocketed the chip as he was praised, then asked the simple question. "Guess I just got lucky. You push someone enough, they're bound to slip up." Truth was there wasn't any luck involved. It was a bit of a task finding the man, but with so many attempts from other bounty hunters, plus the authorities, it was merely about looking at the situation from the right angle. Add in the abilities his eye had and he was able to locate most fairly easily.
The client shurgged.
"I see. Well, whatever the case, luck most certainly favored you this day. This man has been a problem for the Imperial government for some time, going so far to hurt innocent lives here in Kuat. We don't know who he's working for but his actions have pushed the need for his elimination rather than apprehension. Not a move the authorities would like, but I'm tired of their incompetence. Seemed like a better idea to just pay a bounty hunter to find them. But with your success on this, I may have to call you first should I have need of your skills again. I'll be in touch."
Rioux gave a simple nod before standing and departing the bar. He was never one to deny a drink, but that establishment was too high class for his tastes. It also did little to find work, only serving as a good meeting place. Once he was clear, he lifted his left arm, a datapad built into his bracer. Running his fingers across the screen, he looked to see if there were any other jobs available in the area. Business had been hit or miss, which was normal for a mercenary or bounty hunter, especially one without a ship. But he was doing well enough. Being one of the few capable of taking down high profile targets or doing highly dangerous jobs quickly and effectively typically paid well. But things were starting to look dry on Kuat. For the most part, the Imperials kept things under control here. Soon he'd have to look into heading off world and expanding his work.

Kuat was a proud planet when word of the fall of Mon Calamari reached their ears. It was a celebration of unprecedented size, eclipsed only by the capital of Muunilinst and the Imperial stronghold of Bastion. Imperial Stormtroopers, garrisoned on the world, marched in a grand parade as the governor spared no expense on this wonderful occasion for the Empire.

Coruscant had been freed from the criminal gangs that had terrorized the populace for years, and now stood as the new Imperial Capital. Reasons enough to hold a celebration on their own. But today was a special day, celebrating not only the victory upon Coruscant, but also the promotion of Thomas Zahn to Grand Marshal of the First Order, and his establishment as Grand Moff of the Kuat Oversector. It was quite the celebration for the Kuat native, as the 8 Legions under his command paraded through the city and into the main square of the city. Putting on quite the display to honor their commander and his new position
