Quest of the ForgottenYears after the fall of the Imperial Sovereign House of Savage, a dark essence begins to stir upon the crimson planet of Rhommamool. The essence calls out to its former apprentice, Valafar Starkiller. Valafar loyally heeds his master's call, setting out to find a way to reach his master. Having spent most of the previous years in an isolated training facility on Iridonia, Valafar does not know how to go about searching for his master. Xander's essence urges caution and secrecy due to his current fragile state. Anything that threatens Valafar, threatens Xander. As luck, or the Force would have it, a well known smuggler by the name of Nathan Reynolds is currently on Iridonia to drop passengers and search for work. As fate would have it, Valafar would stumble across the smuggler and his crew, giving him the opportunity he needed to get off of the planet and on his way to Rhommamool. Within the walled city of Malidris on Iridonia, Valafar would soon stumble across Reynolds and his crew, much to the surprise and disbelief of one of his crew...

It had been months since Nathan had found honest paying work. He was in a rough spot at the moment. The last batch of passengers had managed to keep him afloat up until this point. If he didn't find someone or something that paid well, he'd be left drifting. And in knowing that, it placed him in a rather irritable mood. Two of his crew were currently off on leave, attending some sort of personal issues. But his Chief of Security was still present, and he wasn't in a very favorable mood either.
Nathan was busily stacking some crates to be loaded once Venom finished with a quick inspection of the ship's outer hull.
"I ain't paying you to stand around. Let's get a move on. I'd like to be burnin' sky 'fore too long."Nathan hollered back to Venom.
If the Zabrak had heard him, he didn't reply. At least not out loud. Nathan shifted two containers off to the side, then stacked a third one up on top. As he turned around, he bumped into a precariously placed stack of shipping crates. The crates teetered dangerously, then started to fall towards Reynolds.

Knowing that his Master, had a secret mission for him, Valafar decided to wear a disguise, that of a typical independent surveyor, with the addition of deep tinted goggles that hid his blood red eyes from the constant staring of the civilians wandering about the spaceport. He also decided to bring an astromech droid that had once belonged to his Master’s empire. He did his best to hide who the droid once belonged to, as he was unaware of the current state of the galaxy. Valafar, not wanting to draw attention to him himself, allowed the droid, T3-07 to keep his lightsaber hidden until the time arrived that he needed it. Valafar and T3 began to search for passage on a starship that would hopefully be willing to take him to Rhommamool. While he was walking he could hear what sounded like a starship captain barking orders at one of underlings.
Valafar sees the stack of crates begin to teeter. Noticing that they were about to fall on the Captain he had just overheard, and who he had decided about asking to take him to Rhommanool, he drops his equipment bag and begins to sprint towards the captain. As he nears the captain he jumps into the air and tackles the captain to the ground, the crates barely missing him as they clattered to the ground nosily.
Valafar stands up, brushing himself off and helps the baffled Captain to his feet. After a moment of letting the Captain sort himself out, Valafar asked the man a question.
“Are you alright sir?”
Despite being a Sith, with little to no regard for those around him, the message from his master had urged him to use caution and stealth when dealing with this assignment. Therefore, Valafar decided to try his best at blending in. He really wasn't concerned about the Captain's well being, however, he figured the Captain may be more agreeable if the faked an interest.

As the crates toppled towards him, the next few seconds were a blur. Before the crates landed on him, he was being tackled to the ground. As the wind was knocked out out him, the crates toppled to the ground noisily, however the had missed both himself and his rescuer, such as he was. Nathan rose to his feet, coughing and brushing himself off. His lungs burned, the palms of his hands now throbbed and his knees ached. Nathan coughed a few more times, then stood himself up straight and glanced up at the being who had tackled him. Not surprisingly, he was a Zabrak. A rather beastly looking individual at that. Nathan eyed the Zabrak warily.
"I appreciate the leap of faith, my large friend. Aside from being tackled by a being of your stature, I think I ain't terribly injured. Shocked more than anything. Now, if there was nothing else to take care of, I've got work to do."
Nathan paused for a few moments, waiting to see if the towering Zabrak wished anything else of him before he got back to work.

Iridonia, Malidris.
Venom was inspecting a scorched spot on the outer hull of the ship, as per the Captain's request. After a few seconds of a close visual inspection, Venom came to the conclusion that there was nothing wrong with the hull of the ship. As he went about his inspection of the ship, he heard a commotion coming around from the front of the ship, which was where the Captain, Venom was immediately put on the defensive. While he didn't draw his weapon right away, he came sprinting around to the front of the ship, expecting trouble. As he rounded the stack of large freight containers, he called out to the Captain.
"Boss! Everything okay up there?"
The Zabrak's right hand was hovering over his holstered sidearm as he approached the Captain. He noticed the knocked over shipping crates, and a rather large Zabrak standing before the Captain. Venom scanned over the situation quickly drawing conclusions and ruling them out.
If this stranger had taken a swing at the Captain, Venom would be crawling around in the dirt picking up the Captain's teeth. Had the Captain swung first, the stranger would have folded him in half. So clearly the situation wasn't nearly as hostile as Venom had initially presumed.
As Venom approached cautiously, Nathan merely motioned for Venom to stand down. As he complied with his Captain's unspoken request, Venom sized up the large Zabrak. And what he gathered from sizing him up, he immediately didn't like. There was something very dark about this stranger. And something familiar, though he couldn't quite place it. Only time would tell as to whether or not this Zabrak was going to be a friend or a very dangerous enemy.

Before Valafar could ask this foolish Captain for transport to Rhommamool, another Zabrak came dashing from around the side of the ship. Valafar quickly noticed that this Zabrak was on the defensive, as it seemed most likely that he would have started firing, if it wasn't for the Captain. Valafar began to hear the voice of his Master, advising caution when dealing with this Zabrak, as it seemed that he was likely force-sensitive, if not more. Valafar decided to ignore the other Zabrak for now, and began to spin a tale of lies that would allow him to continue his mission.
“I was wondering, my good sir, if I could get passage for me and my droid, to Rhommamool? You see, I was hired by the Czerka restoration committee, to survey the planet and to see if it holds any value to them, in order to restore mining efforts there.”
Valafar waited patiently for a response from the Captain, and as he waited he kept half of his attentions focused on the Zabrak and the other half on the man he just saved.
The bloodlust within Valafar began to stir, which caused his right hand to shake, very noticeably.

Reynolds had motioned for Venom to stand down, while he listened to the towering Zabrak.
So far, he didn't like this Zabrak. There was something about him that he just didn't like. The man was lying to him, for one. Second, his fake sincerity was nearly too forced sounding. Obviously this Zabrak was used to not having to ask for anything. Either way, Reynolds was on guard. But he would allow this to continue, so long as it didn't harm him or his crew. And especially if he paid well. There was, after all, nothing wrong with taking on a job that paid well, provided his crew wasn't about to be caught up in something ridiculous.
Reynolds listened to the Zabrak speak. It was a legitimate offer. That much was certain. Reynolds entertained the Zabrak's request for a few moments. A trip to Rhommamool would certainly help pay for some much needed repairs on his vessel. Reynolds eyes met up with the goggle covered ones of the Zabrak.
"Czerka, eh? Well, they certainly aren't the most trustworthy bunch, however if they are giving you the coin to pay for a trip to Rhommamool, then who am I to stand in their way? Consider my ship available to you for a trip to Rhommamool. Bad thing about Rhommamool is, it was a former Imperial world. No one goes there that doesn't have to. So, that means before a single landing strut of my ship leaves Iridonian soil, I'm getting paid upfront. Not normally how I go about business, so call it an insurance policy."
Reynolds spun to face the other Zabrak present.
"We good?"
Reynolds noticed the Zabrak eyeing up the large passenger, but he nodded in acknowledgement of Reynolds' question.
"Alright then, let's get squared away for departure. I wanna be hitting hyperspace in twenty standard cycles."
And with that, Reynolds retrieved his dropped crate and strode up to the ship's cargo elevator. As it lifted off the ground, Reynolds rode it up and into the ship.

Venom nodded in acknowledgement of the Captain's question, then watched him retrieve a crate and wander over to the cargo elevator. He then began to ride the lift up as it closed, leaving Venom alone with this strange Zabrak. This didn't sit very well with Venom. He hated direct interactions with passengers. Especially passengers that looked like they could squish the likes of him like a hawk-bat egg. It wasn't a very thrilling thought. And it did little to relieve Venom of the unease he was feeling in regard to their particular passenger. And the destination didn't thrill him all that much either. Rhommamool was a forgotten world in his mind. Nothing good would come of his venturing back there. Despite the Overlord being long dead, there was no telling what kind of traps or surprises he had left behind.
"Cap'n wants us underway shortly. Grab your gear and follow me..." Muttered Venom.
Venom waited a few moments for the larger Zabrak to gather up his equipment bag and collect his droid before he led them around to the side of the ship where the boarding ramp was. As the large Zabrak turned his head to the right to call back to his droid, Venom noticed a very familiar sigil branded into the neck of the Zabrak. A mark that Venom himself also had branded into the left side of his neck. It certainly raised Venom's suspicions. The only reason this stranger would have such a mark on his neck was if he too was part of Clan Starkiller. And if he bore that mark, then it meant he had been selected to lead Clan Starkiller after Venom had shrugged off the responsibility and went into an exile of sorts, serving aboard the Veritas. It certainly raised more questions, questions Venom may ask if time permitted. Though this large Zabrak didn't look the type to answer those kinds of questions. He was hiding from someone or something. He was taking great pains to not be noticed, so Venom would have to play his cards carefully. Venom then led the fellow Zabrak towards the ramp. If the large Zabrak was following, once they entered the ship, the ramp would retract and the airlock would close behind them.

Valafar turned his head to the right to call over his droid and in doing so, caused his shirt to shift just enough to allow the sigil branded into his neck to become visible for a few moments. T3 already was in the process of bringing Valafar his equipment bag.
“Hurry up T3”
Valafar had a sense that this Captain and Zabrak didn’t buy into his lie, he would need to mediate once he was aboard, in order to figure out how best to handle the situation, as it was developing knowing how to handle these two if things got out of hand would be useful. Though the Captain didn't seem the type to ask more questions than was necessary, so perhaps the minor distrust would be the last of the issues. Still, it never hurt to be prepared for anything, as his master had taught him. T3-07 brought Valafar’s equipment bag to him and waited for his master before continuing onwards. Valafar picked up his bag that contain his armor, and began to follow the smaller Zabrak aboard the ship, while T3 followed closely behind. Upon boarding the ship, Valafar received a very home-like vibe, to which he disliked. His only home was here on Iridonia, hidden away from the rest of the galaxy. But as long as his master needed him, he would go where he was required, regardless of how much he disliked being away from his 'home'.

As Nathan strode through the ship, his first mate and his pilot were already getting the ship off the ground. The ship thrummed beneath his boots as he walked. He strode through the cargo bay and down the hall, past the infirmary. He turned left and strode past the passenger cabins and into the common area where Venom and the strange, towering Zabrak now stood. Venom looked very displeased with Nate's little ditch move. Nathan simply grinned when he saw them both.
"We should be out of the world in five. This is the common area. Meals are usually taken here. The next one is set for 0630, if you wish to join us. Passenger cabins are just behind me through this door." Nate jabs his thumb over his shoulder, to indicate the direction of the passenger bunks. "There is one to the left of me and four to the right. None are occupied at the moment, so feel free to pick which one you would like. Two things I'd like to cover before we fully get underway. The cargo bay is off limits without an escort. The bridge is off limits period. Aside from that, the common area, passenger dorm and infirmary are still accessible to you. Try not to mess anything up in the infirmary, however. While our medic is currently on leave, she gets a might ornery if you play with her things. Now, for payment. I don't expect a full payment up front. However, a half payment would be more than acceptable until we drop you off. Sound fair?"
Nathan flashes a roguish lopsided grin at the Zabrak, trying to be as pleasant as possible. This Zabrak was a paying customer, after all, and needed to be treated as such. Nathan then observed the Zabrak while he waited for him to retrieve the half payment for him.

Valafar reaches into his pocket and retrieves the first half of the payment, he then proceeds to hand the payment over the Captain. Deciding it best to get a time frame from the Captain, Valafar asked how long it would take to reach Rhommamool. Valafar signals T3 to head into the cabin to the left of the Captain.
“I’d hate to be a bother to you, but how long before we reach Rhommamool, since I am on a fairly tight deadline”
Even though Valafar knew that the Captain and smaller Zabrak didn’t believe in his lie, he thought it best to continue with it anyways. While waiting for a response from Captain, Valafar took note of the layout of the ship, well the parts he saw that is, wanting to piece together an escape plan if he needed one. While not normally the type to need an escape plan, it certainly didn't hurt to have one in this situation. Though his escape plan would be somewhat limited once the ship entered hyperspace.

Nathan watched the Zabrak cautiously as he dug into his pocket to retrieve the first half of the payment. Nathan's eyes lit up upon seeing the fistful of legitimate cred notes. It had been some time since Reynolds and his crew had seen a decent paying job. Nathan accepts the credits, placing them in a small leather pouch he had withdrawn from an interior pocket of his overcoat. He pulls the drawstring tight, closing the bag, then puts the pouch back into a pocket within his coat.
"I appreciate you being so cooperative with the payment. As for how long, it shouldn't be much longer than two days. Serenity may be an older ship, however she'll surprised you with what she's capable of. I apologize if that slows your deadline, though I am sure Czerka won't mind. Finding a faster means to get there means cutting down on reliability. I'm sure Czerka would like their investment to arrive at the planet in one piece. One more thing, I would appreciate it if your droid remained within your room during the trip. We've had a few issues in the past with rogue astro droids. Not saying you would give us any trouble, but it's just a precaution. Can't be too careful in this line of work. I'm sure you'd like to get some rest now, so Venom and I will leave you to it."Nathan motions for Venom to follow him up the corridor towards the bridge, walking out of ear shot of the new passenger."You look troubled. We ain't gonna have any issues with our passenger, or our destination will we?"
Reynolds glanced up at Venom's face and locked eyes with the Zabrak. He waited for a moment, allowing the Zabrak to collect his thoughts.

Venom stood off to the side, next to the door to the refresher unit, while Reynolds spoke with the passenger. He plucked a Sweet Williams Cigar from a compartment on his belt, stuck it into his mouth and lit it. He pulled a drag off the cigar and held it for a few seconds, before exhaling. The blue-grey smoke rose slowly away from him. He watched it, appearing to be lost in thought, though in reality he was listening on the interactions between their passenger and the Captain. This new passenger bothered him, probably more then he should have.
The darkness that seemed to emanate from the towering Zabrak had a familiar feel to it, as if a higher power had influenced him a great deal. Add that to the fact that he was lying about his true intentions and the Clan Starkiller sigil being branded to his neck, made Venom all kinds of uncomfortable with the idea of hauling the stranger to Rhommamool. Nothing good was going to come from this. He just had that deep down gut feeling.
As the Captain accepted payment and finished speaking to the passenger, he called to Venom and started walking up the corridor towards the bridge. Then Nathan asked him a loaded question. If he was going to have any issues with the passenger or their destination. Reynolds wasn't an idiot. He knew a good portion of Venom's dark past had originated from Rhommamool. Venom, still puffing on his cigar, looked at the Captain and held his gaze.
"You bet your shiny white ass I have a problem with this. For starters, the guy comes out of nowhere and saves you from a nasty bruise and a slight headache. Okay, that I can roll with. But it conveniently places him in a position to ask for a ride. A ride to one of the places I SWORE never to return to after I helped assemble a rebellion against the Empire. Now I'm not saying I ain't going back to this planet because of what happened, I'm saying I ain't going back because of who was in control of it. Overlord Savage was a manipulative son of a bitch. This guy claims he's with Czerka and is part of a restoration committee. I call bullshit. He's got his own agenda, and it involves that damned planet...he also has one of these..."Venom cocked his head to the right and reached up with his left hand, pulling down his collar so Reynolds could see the sigil that had been branded into his neck."That is the Clan Starkiller leadership sigil. At the age of ten, the members of Clan Starkiller would undergo a series of tests. Only one would emerge victorious form these tests. And the victor was branded with this mark. I turned away from the whole ordeal, meaning someone else was selected in my stead. But here's the catch, Clan Starkiller was massacred a few months after I left and signed on to be a Sith. Not a one survived. And now, conveniently how many years later, a member of my clan shows up asking for a ride to one of the darkest places in the galaxy...this is all to convenient to be nothing more than a set up. You mark my words, this isn't going to end well."
And with nothing more to say, Venom shoved past Nathan and went to his bunk. He was angry, and he had good reason to be. Only time would tell whether or not Venom's hunch would be correct or not. Once in his room, Venom snuffed out his cigar and left in in the ashtray on his bed side table. He removed his cloak and pieces of armor before flopping down onto his bed. He needed to cool off before the crew sat down for their meal, otherwise this wouldn't go away. Venom knew that Nathan would have been taken back by his outburst, however, he also knew that they needed the coin, so they couldn't afford to be turning jobs away. Venom just hoped he was wrong in his assumptions...

Valafar took notice of how the Captain’s eyes lit up at the sight of the cred notes, and thought that he could use this to his advantage if need be. He began to walk behind his droid. Valafar entered the cabin behind T3, and took notice to size of the cabin. It had a familiar feeling to it, like his quarters at his ‘home’ back at the training facility. Valafar then sealed the door. He then asked T3 to show the map of Rhommamool, so that he would knew which path would be the safest, since Valafar knew that his Master would have laid traps to keep unwanted vermin from obtaining any secrets that he had, such was the way of his master.
“T3 bring up the Imperial Council Hall schematics, let’s get this route planed out, I would hate to keep the Sith'ari waiting any more than he has to.”
T3-07 quickly brought up the schematics, as not to incur his master’s wrath, like the last astromech did. Valafar studied the schematics to the point where he had several routes memorized in case there was any trouble, or obstructed routes. He was, after all, heading into the ruins of his master's main stronghold. As far as he knew, the planet was uninhabited after the collapse of the Empire and the death of the Sith’ari. Valafar knew to never underestimate any opponent, whether it be man, beast or even the terrain, as the gift from the Alpha Nexu always reminded him. He then told T3 to monitor the door and alert him if someone tried to open it.
“Alright T3 monitor the door closely and alert me if someone tries to be nosey”
Valafar then kneeled and began to meditate, waiting to see if his master would contact him through the force as he had earlier. An hour into his meditation he had a vision of two figures, one of a Zabrak, clad entirely in black. The other appeared to be either part machine or encased in some kind of armor. These two figures felt like they had enormous power. It also looked as though they were exiting a ship, and the surroundings looked like Rhommamool, but he couldn't be certain. All he could see from the vision was decrepit ruins and lots of crimson sand. He wasn't sure what the vision truly meant, but he could tell that someone might already aware of his Master’s plan. Valafar thought on who this Zabrak who he had seen in his vision could be, and he hadn't seen him before. He continued to meditate.

Venom knew that Nathan would have been taken back by his outburst, however, he also knew that they needed the coin, so they couldn't afford to be turning jobs away. Venom just hoped he was wrong in his assumptions... Nathan allowed the Zabrak to pass by him and enter his bunk. He was quite surprised by the Zabrak's outburst, however, he knew that going back to Rhommamool wasn't easy for him. Reynolds also couldn't be picky with the jobs he took on right now. He was hurting for cash. And with two less mouths to feed at the moment, it was beneficial to him and his crew. Reynolds moved back down towards the common area and turned left at the door to his bunk. He removed his overcoat and gloves, laying them upon the chair behind his desk. He then spun around and walked out of his office and back up towards the bridge. The door slid open, revealing the humming and beeping consoles that were scattered across the bridge. His pilot, Alan 'Wash' Washburn was sitting in the pilot's seat. His first mate, as well as his pilot's wife, Zoe Torres Washburn was leaning up against one of the lockers lining the wall off to his left. As Nate stepped in, the door slid shut behind him. And Zoe immediately spoke up."Sir, this is a bad idea. I know we need the money, but I ain't ever seen Starkiller that worked up before. Something ain't right."Nathan sighed in a frustrated tone."Yeah, I got that. This whole job is trouble. But I got a ship that needs fixin' and a crew with a powerful need to eat sometime in the next month. I can't afford to not be workin' right now Zoe. With my star medic and mechanic off playing around on Corellia, I ain't got no one to loan out every time we stop. Without their extra income, we will be left on the drift soon enough. I know I'm pressin' our luck, but I ain't got any other choice. If this whole situation goes sideways, we'll deal with that as it comes. Dong ma?"At that point, Zoe ceased her protests. Nathan turned to Wash, who hadn't said anything since the Captain had entered the bridge."You got an opinion too, or can you just get us to where we are needin' to be going?"Without looking away from the controls, Wash spoke."I imagine it wouldn't make much of a difference, would it? I mean, we are already in hyperspace, so it's not like I can just turn us around and dump him back on Iridonia. Doesn't seem like the type to take rejection very well, does he?"Nathan ignored his comment, and spoke."Keep us on course. I would like to arrive as fast as we can. The longer this guy is sitting on my ship, the more uncomfortable I become. I'll be back in a bit to check in."And with that, Nathan departed from the bridge, heading back down the hall towards his quarters. After passing through his office and entering his bunk, he flopped down on his bed and closed his eyes. Dealing with strange passengers and an upset crew was exhausting.

As the young Zabrak allowed his mind to wander within the ebb and flow of the Force, a dark presence would fill the Iridonian's mind. His presence was as black as night and it would feel as though the Zabrak was drowning in the darkness. However, such a sensation would pass within a few seconds. While not projecting an image of himself within his apprentice's mind, his powerful voice would lead his apprentice exactly where he wanted him to go. He speaks to Valafar, his voice sounding strained, as if it was echoing across some great distance. You are doing well, my apprentice. You have taken your first steps on what is to be a tremendous undertaking. Rhommamool is your ultimate goal. Let no one stand in your way, but be mindful of those around you. Trust no one, use everyone. Remember, those who help you along your path may have their uses. Do not hesitate to exploit them to accomplish your goals. You have trained for this. Remember your training. And do not even think of failing me. For you do not wish to pay the price of failure this time...The voice ceases for a few moments, though the presence would still linger within the mind of Valafar for a few moments, allowing the boy to speak with his master briefly.

As Valafar’s master spoke to him, he felt as though he should mention the vision that was granted to him by the force. He only though on this for a moment. Valafar began to converse with his master.
I understand completely Master. Earlier I was granted a vision, of two figures one a Zabrak clad entirely in black, and another who appeared to be part machine or in some type of armor that I haven’t seen before. They appeared as though they were exiting a ship, onto Rhommamool. The power I felt from the one clad in black was unsettling. What do you make of it my Master?
As Valafar was explaining the vision to Master, T3-07 received an encrypted holo-recording, and began to decrypt it. As T3 was decrypting the recording it was clear to the droid that this message was from The Great Overlord Xander Savage, and by the date on the part of the recording that was already decrypted, the droid could tell that this message was older than the empire, perhaps recorded a year before the Overlord’s empire began. T3 would continue decrypting the recording and not disturb his master until the message was ready to play.

As his apprentice informed him of a vision he had received, he knew almost instantly whom he was referring to. His son and the abomination known as Cain Dracus. But the self aware portion of Xander's trapped essence knew that the decaying city of Exodus hadn't been disturbed in months. Not since the smuggling ship carrying specimens that Xander had wasted no time subjugating to his will, had crashed, where there any visitors to the crimson planet. While the presence within Valafar's mind couldn't physically express its distaste for such news, there was nothing Xander could do about it now. Instead, Xander was already scheming on how he could best utilize Viox and Cain's eventual arrival to Rhommamool. Perhaps a test for Valafar? Or perhaps a trap for the grandson, Vallius? Either way, he had nothing but time to concoct a plan. Until then, he would focus on how he was going to assist Valafar.
Do not pay the vision any merit. In due time we will deal with it. Until then, however, we focus on you successfully getting to Rhommamool and surviving on the planet's surface long enough to get to the penthouse within the decaying ruins of the Imperial Council Hall. Be warned, this is also a test. Do not expect the trials ahead to be easy. You may have to rely on those around you more than you realize...I will contact you again once you have reached the planet. May the Force serve you well, my apprentice.
And with that, the dark essence of Xander Savage would fade from the mind of Valafar...until such time he was needed to guide his apprentice once more.

Hyperspace Transition, Wayfarer-Class Medium Transport Serenity. Common Area.
Nathan had since napped off his frustration with the current situation he was dealing with. He, along with Wash, Zoe and Venom had seated themselves at the table within the Common Area on board Serenity. They were currently finishing up with their meal.
"My thanks Zoe, for another meal successfully done. Are we still on schedule for Rhomamool?"
At the mention of the planet, Nathan noticed Venom's demeanor change from contributing to the casual conversation, to silent and distant. Reynolds didn't like upsetting his crew, but it was after all, his ship. It went where he wanted it to. And while he didn't want to be going to Rhommamool, it was a little late now for second guessing himself.
"Yeah Nate. We are still on course. Shouldn't be more than eighteen hours now."
Nathan nodded in approval, while Zoe took the opportunity to speak up.
"Do we even know what to expect when we arrive? I mean, this passenger of ours hasn't said two words since he climbed on board."
Nathan thought for a few seconds, then replied.
"We know nothing aside from what has been posted on the holo-net. The planet had been abandoned for the last few years. And before that, the Independent's cleaned out the Imperials good and proper. We got nothing to worry about. We get there, we get paid and we drop the passenger. After that, my obligation to him ends and he's no longer my problem. Why is everyone so keen on making a fuss? It's not like we are assembling a rebellion this time and trying to overthrow the Imperials. They are long gone. Nothin' left there but dust and echoes."
At that point, Venom rose up from the table and strode out of the room and down the corridor towards the cargo bay.
"Jeez, what's eating him?"
Nathan remained silent a few moments longer, until he was certain Venom was out of earshot.
"He's a might ornery due to the fact that he had ran from this place during the rise of the Empire. He won't go into much more details then that, but clearly it's a place of great pain to him. He doesn't want us going. At this point, though, there isn't much room for second guessing. What's done is done. We'll deal with it as it comes, like we always do..."
Nathan leaned back in his chair, trailing off. As long as everything ran smoothly, he wasn't too concerned. Wash and Zoe excused themselves from the table, cleaned up from the meal and went about their duties on the ship, leaving their Captain to think in silence.

On board the Wayfarer, Serenity. Passenger Dorm.
Valafar heeded His Master’s advice, and began to prepare for the trails his master had mentioned. He doubled check his armor to make sure that it was combat ready. Valafar then went over the plan to retrieve whatever his master wanted him to retrieve. He thought about what kind of traps that could still be active, and the unknown dangers that could still present themselves later, mainly having to rely on those around him as his master said he would. Maybe he would have to use them to get past certain traps, or use them as bait/decoys.
“T3, status update”
T3-07 quickly span around and displayed a time that indicated how much longer they had to remain on the ship.
“Dammit, not going to land soon enough, continue to monitor the door”
Valafar decided to work out in the cabin to help pass some time, and to vent some of his frustration, so that he wouldn’t explode with anger later on.
