Description:
The Star Cathedral was built for the Resurgent Sith Conclave to help project their power into the atmospheres of the planets they held sway over. It served many roles, but its primary job was to be a strong point in planetary defense. From several levels of hangers, the station could launch up to 120 starfighters or similar craft. It also boasted 30 dual turbolasers, 30 dual ion cannons, 20 laser cannons, and 12 tractor beam projectors.
Another role the station filled was as a repair and resupply point for ships as big as a frigate. It serviced these vessels off the repair pylon extending from the rear of the station. Yet another role of the station was to serve as a retreat for Praetors or other high ranking Sith. In chambers near the top of the station Sith, and their devoted followers, would find sanctuary from the troubles of the world so they could reflect on the Force and the Darkside. Since the station had the potential of playing host to such powerful leaders of the Conclave, it also had a state of the art communications array. This array rarely broke down and was even sturdier with its encryptions.
