Cass doesn't resist or struggle. In fact he seems to be enjoying this. I look forward to hearing my charge. Especially here in front of the Empire. Cass nods to Nicademus From what I have heard, even they no longer treat people like this. Arresting without cause, interesting course of action... And to do it so publicly in front of the rich and powerful. Few things surprise me, but this does.
My ticket passes all examination, I have threatened no one, and you are unable to find a weapon on me. I even helped your cause, i helped you find two weapons that were snuck in.

So, if I produce a hidden weapon for you you will leave me to my business? Is what what I am hearing? Fine.
Cass reaches out his hand toward a fat Bothan at one of the gaming tables. The Bothan is spun around, and out from under his shirt flies a hold out blaster. It lands barrel first in Cass' hand. He proceeds to attempt to hand it butt first to the Vor.
Does this one suffice or would you prefer an additional one. Perhaps, the one the Togruta at the bar has in her hand bag?
Cass again reaches with his left and pulls a vibro knife, that flies into his out reached hand. Handle first.
Darn, I was wrong. When I saw the handle I thought it was another hold out blaster. He flips it, now holding it on the back part of the blade in front of Khar, to take.
Either of those the weapon you are looking for. Cass asks as he waits for the Vor to take them. In no way is Cass holding them in a way threatening to anything other than the Vor's ego.

I was going to offer the same thing. I would be happy to play as a minor senator. I have room for another alt.
I noticed Bothawui has been abandoned. I think it would be fun to play a Bothan.

He had hoped to avoid been really seen, enough to remember. But he had made eye contact with the Senator, well what's done is done. Using the force he called his effects to himself and force lept over a fence. He wasn't interested in dealing with security on the way out. No he had a part to be at. Hopefully someone that could be a good next employer would be there. Cass had to get ready. He secured his curved lightsaber into the caring apparatus with its unique code in the Force. Should he need it it would be at the small of his back with just a thought, like always.

Cass had an opportunity to get out of this with no further problems. He just needed the senator to play along. Body language told him there was no love loss between him and the Vor. This should work. Cass bows his head to the senator, he speaks to him in a soft voice. Not a whisper, but not something anyone farther then a few feet away could here in an atmosphere like this. Thank you uncle Koronov, I was just finishing the security check you asked me to accomplish. No real threats. Most here are arms in some way, hidden vibroblade, holdout blaster, typical Corscaunti upper class party. Everyone pretends to trust each other, while expecting a knife in the back. Nothing really of note. I had attempted to keep a low profile like you had asked, the head of security here is surprisingly thorough.

As if it was nothing Cass get two glasses of wine from the bar tender. He turns to hand one to Khar. We despite everything, I am a man of my word. Your drink sir. Cass' demenor changes and is directed only at the Vor. Not threatening, but no longer friendly. It was a shame that we couldn't become friends. If you can find a weapon you are more than welcome to take it. Otherwise continue on and let me be. I am sure there are actual threats for you to deal with, perhaps a youth spiked the punch. I will be sure to make note of you to my next meeting with the council, i think someone like you may spark their interests. The contraption on his back the held his saber was activated by the Force in a very specific way to let its contents get released. Otherwise safely hidden and tucked away they were. And no, Cass wasn't a jedi, nor did he have any affiliation with that order. But there was no one present here that knew that. And no matter the vor's goals for the moment, Cass was betting jedi interference was not something he desired.

Of course. Forgeries to events like this were not hard to come by, and were often undetectable even to the best eyes. Thats what happens when the best at the job get passed up for political favors, as was par for the course on a world like this.. Cass had found such a forger. He handed it to the Vor.
What is a Vor like yourself doing here on the planet working something like security, when there is that big fleet is in orbit?
Cass chose is words carefully. He had know idea of his parentage, but the effects were still clear. Thrawn had given him tact and i keen eye to read situations, Mon Mothma his calming voice and nature, everyone seemed to like him. These abilities had often made Cass wonder if he should just become a permanent con man. He would be good at it. But no, he knew that wasn't who he was. He may not be a Jedi but he was no crook. Here had had done enough to let the Vor know that CAss knew who he was, but that Cass didn't want to use that information. The weapon on his back should be easily dismissed, there was no reason for anyone to think he wasn't Koronov's nephew. And even a warlord would think twice about accusing a senator. Cass could get out of this, yes. But what was the rush. He was here to make contacts and relationships. This Vor would be a good one to have.
If everything is in order then. I was going to get a drink. I am assuming you can't have one on duty, but i would love to get you something else. Lets chat.

This shook Cass, he was not expecting it. But he maintained his composure. How did he know? Of course his lightsaber. He would have to make alterations to its carrying mechanism in the future. He collected himself quickly. And I took great lengths be be sure it wasn't. THis is a night i would rather just blend in.
He motioned over to Koronov. Cass's look and age make the lie believable, especially at a place like this. My uncle wanted me here, I am supposed to learn about politics, or some nonsense. Personally I prefer to just have a bigger gun than the other guy, as from the look of you friend you do as well. But know, uncle says its better to learn, make relationship and diplomacy is the answer. But I guess i may as well meet you. Cassious Haldron, nice to meet you friend.
He then offered his hand. This strategy was 2 fold. One the lie was good, and Cass was a very good liar. And two he planned on monopolizing the Vor's time. Everyone here was here to gather information, and spending too much time with one person, especially a nobody doesn't help accomplish that too well.

Cass notices the commotion between the Imperial and the Twilek. He couldn't hear anything but he made a mental note. Either of them could prove profitable in the future. Once he left the party he would have to look them both up and get information. For now he focused on this S'daya and Koronov.

This Herald has proven most helpful, names and titles in one place. These new arrivals caught his eye. He made his way over to them, but tried not to make his listening too obvious.

Cass smiles as he goes through security. As secure as they tried to make functions like this, they were never hard to sneak into. Even without the Force, using your head to figure out the officer doing the checks, to figure when to play dumb when to play helpless, and when to press and show strength. Before you know it you have a VIP pass and free reign. The Force did help to get a lightsaber over a fence though. Cass wonders the event like her belongs there, listening to conversations looking for a mark. No that wasn't the right word, he was looking for an employer. Not your common riff raff, someone with more credits and influence than sense. No a republic senator, there is someone he could work for. But he had to find the right one. One that would be able to help him when he needed it as well. Normal in places like this he would where covers over his eyes, but here Cass chose to let their red show. First they were a conversation piece. At a time like this he wanted to talk to people and learn about them as quick as possible. Second, they let him hide his gaze. Without any pupils no one could tell exactly where he was looking. He was in a standard but nice formal black tunic had had taken from a local store. He planned on returning it or paying for it double after this event. Hidden on his back was his curved hilt lightsaber, unseen and unnoticed. Cass wondered the party, listening and mingling.

Hi, i had talked to Koronov about joining on as kinda a "Hand" type character a la Mara Jade, with the republic, and specifically Koronov. We had started something in the Senate Rotunda before his internet issues started. I liked the train of the story, but i have gotten really bored waiting for his return. IF anyone has any ideas for a way to do something without him until his return i am all ears. I am really bored of waiting.

The guard's try to close in, but the crowd is too tight. Cass it urging them to keep it tight, so it is just the former Special forces guy and him. Cass trys to get a better look at the weapon in his hand but can't. Now with this crowd and guards, escape is no longer an option. Cass walks circles, eyes locked on the man, but taking not of everything behind him as well. All eyes are locked on Cass and the man. no one notices a curved silver rod tuck it's self neatly in a planter to the Senator's left. You sir are left with but two options. Fight then get arrested or just get arrested. I am sure the Senator you have accused of corruption and threatened another senator over cant reach you in jail, can he? It isn't like someone that you believe to be so highly corrupt could makes things get lost on there way to booking. If such a thing were possible, a public fight, one that ends on the news would serve to keep you safe, people would want to know what happens to you...

Without moving is feet Cass dodged the attack. He used the man's momentum to send him falling to the ground. Cass then moved between the man and the downed Senator. He could sense the senator was going to try to get involved with the fight. An untrained person could make things get ugly. Gently but firmly Cass used the force to push him farther away. Cass's weapons pack finally splinter's the weapons locker. Cass only calls his Cyan curved hilt saber out of it. It begins the journey to the fight. I was having a nice day, you messed that up by causing a ruckus. Attacking someone in a public place? Not the best of ideas. Cass needed to know what the weapon was he was facing and soon. Once all the variables were known then he could now how best to handle the situation. You will need to use more than your fists and raw force to get by me.

In as instant Cass was up and moving. His hand shooting out to use the force to slow the Senator's fall. He turned to face them large man. Cass had a glimmer of amusement in his red eyes. You chose the wrong day friend. There was a time he would have tried to talk this situation through, but that time was passed. Cass had been left a cynical shell of his former self. The man flexes, on his arm Cass notices a tattoo. So this guy was former Republic special forces. In the other hand was some sort of weapon that Cass couldn't make out. At least this might be a little fun. So how do you want to be hurt today? My hand? My foot? Something more subtle?Cass gently uses the Force to put pressure on the man's windpipe making him gasp.Or if you want to wait a moment for my things to get passed security, something a little... warmer? Your choice? Cass was already reaching out with the Force to his weapons in a security locker. They were splintering the wood locker they were being held by. It wouldn't be long before they were free.

Cass sits in a cafe in the Rotunda, watching people rush and rush around him. Fools the lot of them. Just running around looking for someone to use, or they are being used by someone themselves, hell sometimes even both. This was why Cass had left the academy. All he was to those people was someone to use. They got promotions off his plans and ideas, and what did Cadet Cass Raklin get out of the deal? Nothing, not even extra dessert at chow time. Maybe they were better than the monks, at least they never kept secrets. The monks had trained him to be a weapon, powerful and near unstoppable. But they never trusted him with his own secrets. Now he sits watching the powerful pass by in a hurry. Not many noticed him. It is amazing, he could get through security by acting the part, but once inside could disappear. He had to leave his weapons at the security check, but he could still feel them, they were fine. So he sat and watched until the Rodian waiter realised Cass wasn't interested in ordering anything and kicked him out. It was nice to just forget about not having a credit to his name for a while.
