Well, isn't this cute. *makes herself comfortable in Nathan's chair, feet up, smirk on* Look who's back to save the 'verse! Cap'n Tight-Pants and his merry band of misfits. *grin* Reynolds. Nice to see your ever-serious mug around here again. Looks like you're settling back in nicely! I'm sure we'll cross paths eventually, yeah?
'till then, fly straight, dude.

She huffed, blowing a wayward strand of hair out of her eyes, and considered Frend. “Uh…” That was actually a good question. Malora had never seen machines pass through the pillars before. Galen never employed droids. “Have him guard the door up here?” she suggested, shrugging. “I have no idea what happens to metals when they go through this thing, and I’d rather not risk Frend’s shiny ass finding out. Hope you didn’t need him for anything…”
With a nod, the smuggler beckoned Oz through the pillars and handed him a tiny bit of bacta and a bandage. “Bacta it and tape ‘er up good. Forgot to clean the blade after I stabbed that Hutt with the weirdo skin disease..." Yep. Oz's expression was so worth it. "Hey, Mack…” Malora flipped the knife and, with a wild, mischievous gleam in her eyes, hurled the blade at the gunslinger. “Think fast.”

“Job.” Malora spun her blaster around between her fingers and dropped it into the holster at her thigh with a definitive nod. “Right…” she breathed, scanning their scrubby, desolate surroundings with a narrowed gaze. Raising the ship ramp, she beckoned her little party of misfits forward. “Keep up. In and out fast. This place IS on Galen’s grid, so when we open the front door, he’ll know. Once we get what we need, we blow it.” To her knowledge, the tiny outpost had been abandoned for years; in fact the whole project had been scrapped mid construction after her ‘betrayal’. But Galen didn't like loose ends, which is why Malora was so on edge. He didn't forget things. He knew this place was still here. So WHY was it still here when all the others had been obliterated? He was consolidating, so he’d obviously found a better, less scattered way of housing information. Maybe he had other plans with this place.
Too bad for him. Malora arrived first. And she had explosives. Hope you like your plans extra toasty, Galen…
“It’s not far. C’mon.” Ship locked up tight, the group set off at a brisk walk, Malora leading, dead grasses and dry earth scrunching and crumbling under their boots. She kept her eyes to the ground, scanning, brows pulled together in concentration. Looking for something? Yeah. She was.
‘Not far’ turned out to be a huge understatement. The trouble-maker halted abruptly in front of a large, lone boulder, not fifty feet from the ship. Its surface was rough and grey, altogether very normal for a boring rock, but there was one small area that spread a bit darker, shone a bit smoother than the rest. Malora tapped at it experimentally. She’d never been here herself, but she remembered (not fondly) Galen’s security procedures at his other bases. “He never could just use a normal keycard, could he?” she mumbled, pulling the knife from her belt. “Sick bastard.” And she drew the knife calmly across her palm, grimacing, and slapped her bleeding wound against the smooth bit of rock. The stone absorbed her blood like a sponge, the smear of red disappearing into the dark grey. Something rumbled under their feet. Malora stepped back, nudging Oz and Mack behind her.
The ground opened up in front of them.
A set of metal pillars rose, connecting at the top like an archway, and behind them a short set of stairs leading into the ground. At the bottom of the stairs was a small platform, littered with dirt from the walls and rusted with time, but it looked sturdy.
‘Lora turned to face the men (or boys, depending on the time of day and how much they’d had to drink. In Mack’s case, at least. She knew zero about Oz's bar habits), hiking a thumb over her shoulder at the scene. “See those pillars?” They nodded. “See that big rock I just bled all over?” Nodding. “Unless you wanna die, do not step through those pillars until you've done the same. Some kind of Sith alchemy or something. Can’t go around them, either. I've seen guys try without giving blood, and if I explain what happens in detail, you’ll probably hurl, so.” Flipping the knife around, she handed Oz the weapon, handle first, and stepped through the entrance and onto the stairs below. “You’re first, Z-man,” she smirked, wrapping her hand with a bandage. “Slice ‘n’ smear, c’mon, don’t be squeamish.”

"Well I think you both look ravishing." The voice came from one Wade Connors, or at least that's what he'd heard his name was. Even after being sucked into whatever transdimensional plane this shindig took place on, his memory had only been coming in bits and pieces, and mostly the pieces about other people. Anyway, he wore a simple enough suit that seemed to be tailored for him, and a smirk that most definitely was. His eyes shifted from the two women to one Adrien Draykon, and somehow he managed to keep from outright glaring at the man. "You, on the other hand, have definitely seen better days. You look tired, Draykon. And the eyes... There's something different about the eyes. Colder, maybe. Not sure how that's possible though." His smirk turned into a half-smile as he spoke, then he glanced around the room, taking in the various security measures, before returning his gaze to Draykon. "I guess now would probably be a bad time to figure out who'd win that fight we never had, huh? Maybe later." Stepping between Malora and Liya, he wrapped an arm around each of them and glanced between the two, his hand sliding decidedly lower on Malora's hip than it did on Liya's (which actually took more effort than you'd think, seeing as Liya was of a height with him). "Now you two look like you could really use a drink. I think I saw a bar over this way." He figured if he just kept moving and didn't give her the chance, Liya might not try and break his arm, so to that end he began pulling both women in the direction of the aforementioned bar. "You can come too, Draykon." He said over his shoulder as they stepped off into the crowd. turning his head back forward, he addressed both Liya and Karana. "So how're things with the crew? It's been a while and I've been a little busy getting tortured and experimented on to keep up. How's Fel? Seros? The immortal duo? And who the hell was that nutjob with the blaster pistols on coruscant?" “Pretty sure you mean Mack Revette, my…uh…..” Yeah, what was he now? Lover? Ex lover? Friend? Stranger? What do you call someone you used to sleep with that seemingly died and left you for two years, and then shows up a few months ago wanting everything to be how it was? Malora flailed a hand as they neared the bar, looking for the right words, but she came up short. “Um. He ran with Fel and I before you two showed up. We thought he was dead. Apparently not,” she said, shrugging. “Hell of a gunslinger, missing more than half of his marbles, definitely. He’s actually helping Oz and I track you down, Connors.” She patted the hand on her hip. “We’re coming to rescue you! And then we're going to rescue Fel, 'cause the brilliant Cap'n went and got himself nabbed by the Imps."She smiled as she stopped before the quartet, a warm twinkle in her eye. "Welcome, ladies and gent. I don't believe we've had the pleasure. I'm Sinistra, pleased to meet you all. It's an honor." A roguish look crossed her face as she leaned in to plant a kiss on Adrien's cheek. "And you, Ade, it has been far too long." The smell of strong drink and expensive perfumes (and slightly burnt wood, Corr?) caught her attention, as did the absolutely stunning woman approaching their little group. If elegance had a name, it was definitely Sinistra tonight. “DUDE!” ..Probably not how you address a super sexy dangerous Sith, but protocol was never ‘Lora’s thing, and she was far too caught up in a mini out-of-character fangirl freak-out to care. “Huge fan!” she squealed, wrapping the woman in a quick hug. “Sorry, lemme just…” With effort, Malora wrangled Writer Lor back into her cold, Hothcago reality. She’d promised not to interfere tonight, but, well, everyone knows how excitable Lor can get. “ ‘kay, much better.” Malora rolled her eyes. “Writers. You know how they get. Anyway, honor is all ours. Heard a lot about you. Bee-tee-dubs (btw), ‘grats on your Sithies win! I’ve only read the first bit of ‘Whiskey and Philosophy’, can’t wait to read more.”

For a criminal who was always on the run, and never kept to a schedule for more than a few days at a time, events such as these never came at a convenient time. But it didn't matter. The Writer had a schedule to keep, and the Writer didn't mind interrupting daily life, whether it be a mundane smuggling run, or the starship heist of the year. And so here I was, unpleasantly scooped up with mere hours of warning, and transported away for the great yearly spectacle. I didn't really and truly mind, because I loved the Writer, and I loved the Sithies event. But I would have liked a little more time to find something presentable to wear, rather than being snatched from the streets of a fashion-forsaken Outer Rim world and told to make do with whatever I could find. There actually had been one solitary shop selling the latest ladies' Coruscanti fads on Cloud City, but they didn't have anything that would fit an Epicanthix. Oh no. Their clientele consisted exclusively of the petite, pure-blooded human wives of Imperial upperclassmen. My presence in the store might have caused quite a stir had it been during business hours, so naturally, I chose to visit after hours. That way was a lot more fun, anyway. The only downside was that I had to try on clothes by glowrod, which made any bright color look distorted and muted. The burglary had been a mixed success. No one noticed me, but there were no dresses my size. I had to settle for an azure blouse whose sleeves were six inches too short. Ten minutes' work with a knife later, it was sleeveless, and much more comfortable. The skirt was a little easier --- I found a nice black one that was intended to be ankle length, and it comfortably came to just below my knees. The waistband was tight, but as long as I didn't eat very much, it would be survivable (or so I hoped). And then, poof, here I was, my face still bloodied from breaking through a glass partition on our last mission, my hair only hastily pulled back, and my combat boots badly in need of a new coat of shine. Still slightly in shock at the sudden transportation, I stood in the middle of the hall, glancing around cautiously as I sized up the crowd. I felt half-naked without my blasters, which had magically disappeared some time in the last thirty seconds. Mentally, I began tagging potential threats and victims, even though I knew the security policies were extremely tight. There were some habits I just didn't know how to turn off. Nonetheless he made his way toward Liya, who appeared to be casing the room. With a smirk on his face he touched her lightly on the shoulder to get her attention, "If I didn't know better I'd say you felt out of place." Of course Adrien Draykon was the first one to greet me upon my rather sudden arrival. If you had asked a Hutt for odds on that one, they would have been pretty low, maybe even halfsies. He was drawn like a magnet to women, and here I was, standing all alone, which to Ade was always an open invitation. Turning slowly as he tapped me on the shoulder, I smirked right back, and answered in a low voice. "We're both out of place, there's absolutely no crime allowed, and even if we did try something, it would certainly be annulled by the Writers." I nodded toward the crowd. "Look at all this jewelry. It's like being in a bakery, but not being allowed to actually eat any of the fresh bread." Letting out a sigh, I eyed the smuggler captain quizzically, secretly wondering what he would look like with a crooked nose. But tonight wasn't the night for those sorts of games. The Writer said I was supposed to be "nice" --- whatever that meant. And he was a part of the smuggling world, which made him much more of an ally that most of the others in the room, even if he was a business rival of Fel. "But how are you, Adrien? It's been a while, and I feel like I owe you a punch in the face, but I don't remember why." “…You stole yours too, huh?” Firmly ignoring the presence of Adrien Draykon (at least until she could grab the stickiest drink concoction she could find and pour it all over his head), Malora strolled up next to Liya, scanning her friend with an approving expression. Amusement burst over her face as she glimpsed the blouse. “Nice sleeves, Tawaza,” she smirked. “Totally hiring you to edit the next fancy-shmancy gown thing I steal, ‘cause…” The trouble-maker gestured to the little black dress stretched over her frame, and the massive peek-a-boo cut-outs carved into the back and up the sides of the skimpy gown. “…MY hackjob didn't turn out quite so epic. There were flowers. Couldn't stand ‘em.” She wiggled a foot at the Epicanthix. A foot, clad in dirty smuggler boots. “At least you found shoes. Not that I don’t love my boots.” She gave Draykon an icy smile. “Better for kicking asses I don't like.”

So, I've begun a dialogue with the artist who will be doing our group portrait, and money has changed hands. I'm pretty freakin' excited. So far, the artist has good info on only two writers' characters: Galdaart, and Mack. In addition, knows there's a really beat-up R2 (Wrench) and a pristine R5 (Scrappy.) Currently, the only characters being included in the artwork are listed in this link: jvs.wikia.com/wiki/Fel_CrewThoughts? -GF Am I the only one totally struggling with the "Draw Your Character" blurb? Like, it's all in my head in a picture, I've just never thought about verbalizing it before. Kriffin' difficult, but wicked fun.

Hey everyone…
Pretty sure you all know who I are, right? Your favourite nutjob, Ash, or back then I was Asyeline Skyrah, also known colloquially here amongst the Fel Crew as Myranda Ghomesz. Just wanted to share with everyone that my housemates who used to play as Taralorn Melvarrik/Sergio “Sam” Ghomesz and Dimple Pjenaqott/Muffin no longer write on JvS, and we don’t even share a house anymore, and have all gone our separate ways.
Nothing bad though, Dee’s just got her own life and business to take care of now, along with her family responsibilities which prevent her from being able to do much writing online, let alone be online, and Tarl’s had a string of bad things happening to him to such a degree that he’s basically wiping a clean slate and starting a completely new life far far away. So basically that leaves little ol’ me.
The beauty of when we started writing here, we made a point to co-create every single character. This means that everyone, Sam, Myranda, Asyeline, Dimple, Taralorn. We basically all had a hand in creating them, so this way, we kind of have our own input and signature for each character, and should emergencies ever arise, any one of us can write for each other’s profiles or characters. As of now, I am the sole “heir” as it were, to virtually every profile my dear friends created.
So first I wanted to say sorry for being away for so long, and secondly, if the Fel Crew would like, I can write once more for Sam and Myranda. Most likely though I’ll be doing all the writing from this profile. Easier to keep track rather than using multiple profiles. Of course, this is assuming it’s all okay with all of you. I’ve been basically trying my hand at writing again before coming back here to see if I’m really prepared to try one more round. You all may have noticed a clone of Sam operating with a separate group of commandos. He’s not the Sam you all know though, Sam “Prime” is still with you.
Assuming I get the go ahead, Dan? Well, Sam and Myranda are kinda easy. Sam’s in an Iron Man Mk III suit with glowing cyan eyes, and Myranda’s 100% Miranda Lawson from Mass Effect II, except that she has glowing ember eyes. Myranda wields a sabergun. Basically a configurable lightsaber that is often kept in the form of a blaster. Also, WELCOME BACK! Good to see you still around. I'm not sure if you've followed what's been happening, but the crew is all split up for a bit, slowly making our way through some separate storylines until we can track down Fel IC. I'm not sure where Myranda and Sam would fit right now, it looks like everyone is pretty far into their SLs. =O Any ideas?
