The image of Faelan shakes and quivers as he laughs, flickering in and out in places momentarily before it becomes more stable once more, That could take quite some time, best of luck with that endeavor. Grateful that the transmission is not likely to be so refined as to capture every little nuance of his expression, Faelan nods when Raine speaks about her belief that she is not adept at making friends; the thought of his niece as being lonely or troubled by her lack of friends, naturally, an unpleasant one for him. Smiling, reminding himself that he will not help matters by permitting his concern for her to show at its true depths, Faelan says reassuringly, Making friends is not a skill that comes naturally to us all, and laughs as he makes a joke at his younger brother's expense, We can't all be as outgoing, sociable, and popular as your buir, can we? More seriously, Faelan adds, Give it some time, look for opportunities to socialize with others your age, and most importantly always be open to the possibility of making friends, even when it seems difficult to believe in, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

*Raine gave a faint smile at her uncle's advice.* "I probably don't want to be popular in the same way as my buir is." *She didn't quite know how to explain the next part to Faelan. Mostly because she didn't really understand it herself.* "It's not that I don't socialize with other kids, it's just.... I don't know. Sometimes I find it difficult to relate to them. Like, I've been through so much in a short time, while most of the other kids haven't. Then I'm not sure how to explain it to them, and..other things." *She paused for a moment, finding her next statement odd.* "Although..I did seem to feel more at ease around the kids at the orphanage Em was at."

Laughing, Faelan agrees with Raine's lack of a desire to be popular in the same way that Lorcan often is, No, definitely not. His image flickers some as he nods when Raine explains a bit more about her difficulties relating to others her age, understanding well how her experiences could make doing so an obstacle from the way in which the deaths of his wife and sons made him feel a certain degree of divide between himself and others who had not known similar losses. A reflective frown appears on his image after Raine says that she feels more at ease among the children at the orphanage, possibly due to the fact that they may have had similar experiences as she, and after a moment Faelan suggests, Perhaps you and your buir could think of something you could do together at the orphanage? Volunteer to help with their training perhaps? The children at the orphanage are trained, as are all Mando'ade children, for their verd'goten, though the number of children the instructors must teach is necessarily higher than is ideal.

"Volunteer at the orphanage?" *Her uncle proposed a question she hadn't thought of. Technically she didn't even know such a thing was possible. His plan was a good one actually.* "That..could actually be a good thing. Let me get my buir!" *Without warning, she darted from the room. A minute later she had a hold of her buirs hand, trying to drag him along with great enthusiasm.* "Buir! Ba'vodu has an idea to help me make friends. Right ba'vadu Faelan?"

Faelan laughs as Raine scampers off, glad that his idea seems to have been met with such enthusiasm. Nodding when, with Lorcan in tow, Raine returns a moment later, Faelan says in Mando'a, Yes, I did. Explaining once more his idea of Raine and Lorcan exploring the possibility of volunteering at the orphanage so that she can spend time among peers that have similar experiences as she has had, Faelan ends by asking Lorcan, What do you think?
Lorcan rests a hand on Raine's shoulder as he grins and cheerfully says, "I think that's something we could do. I could, I dunno, volunteer to do some hand-to-hand or small arms combat training, and have Raine and Em both participate so that they get the experience as well as time to spend with the orphans. Smiling even more as he remembers the rather attractive woman they had met when last they had been at the orphanage, Lorcan adds, I can also, uh, expand my own social circle. Looking down at Raine, he asks, So, what do you think? Should we head over tomorrow and see what they say?"

*Raine was excited to hear her buir agree with her uncle. She could scarcely contain herself as Lorcan made his suggestions. Then she stopped momentarily when he mentioned his own social calls. This confused her for a second, then she remembered the secretary at the orphanage. She rolled her eyes and spoke in a low sarcastic voice.* "Yeah, a social call."
*She sat down on the couch and let her bare feet swing back and forth as she thought about the whole thing. Making friends might be easier there, then again....what if they didn't like her. Raine felt a small pit form in her stomach at the thought. Pushing it aside the best she could, she focused on her buirs question.* "I think we should head over tomorrow. The sooner we find out..."

Falean chuckles to himself with a shake of his head as Lorcan grins sheepishly with a shrug of his shoulders when Raine rolls her eyes as she makes a quip about a social call, well aware of his younger brother's meaning when he speaks of expanding his social circle. Though Lorcan seems to have matured since finding out that he is a father, Falean imagines that there are some aspects of his character that will never change no matter how much he matures.
"Tomorrow it is, Lorcan agrees with Raine cheerfully, nodding emphatically three times just for emphasis. After spending a few more moments catching up with Falean, Lorcan says farewell and then yawns as he claps his hands together with a smile and tells Raine, Well, I guess we had better get some rest, Busy day tomorrow, right? Patting Raine on the shoulder with a supportive smile when sees some hint of the unease she feels, Lorcan assures her, Hey, just relax and be yourself, okay? I think this will be a good thing for you if you just give it a chance."
After chasing Eimhin down, made easier by the fact that his son has worn himself out with all of his running around, Lorcan gets the boy ready for bed and, after calling out a goodnight to Raine once he has tucked Eimhin in, heads to bed himself.
Making their way to the orphanage in the morning, Lorcan explains the idea he has in mind to the director after asking for and being granted a meeting with him. The director, happy to have more help in ensuring that the children under his care are raised in the ways of the Mando'ade, readily agrees to Lorcan's idea of teaching classes in hand-to-hand, edged weapons, and small-arms combat; Raine and Eimhin, naturally, both allowed to participate as well as spend free time with the orphans.
Lorcan spends their first day at the orphanage teaching hand-to-hand combat, taking the time to place the children in groups according to age as well as ability so that they all receive instruction at the level best suited for them. The majority of the first day's lesson is spent in going over proper stances, discussing the ideology of the unique Mando'ade hand-to-hand combat style, and finally a few basic hand strikes. Concluding the lessons as lunch is served, Lorcan suggests that Raine join the orphans of her age group while he and Eimhin join those of his son's age, suspecting that Raine will be more comfortable without him too nearby.
Giving Eimhin and Raine time to play or spend time with the friends they have made after lunch, Lorcan takes advantage of the opportunity to see if the rather attractive lass that he had met when they had come to find Eimhin's stuffed strille is working today. The lovely young lass, a buxom, blue-eyed blonde by the name of Iuile, is indeed working that day, and Lorcan loses track of the time as he happily chats and flirts with her, eventually reluctantly parting from her company when he sees how late the hour has become. Heading off first to find Eimhin, Lorcan's day takes a turn for the worse when he learns after the search proves unsuccessful, that Eimhin and his friend Gradoni decided to sneak away into the city. Asking Iuile to tell Raine that he will back as soon as he finds Gradoni and Eimhin, Lorcan sets his panic aside and begins the search for the two boys.
Unfortunately for all involved, not only does the search for Eimhin and Gradoni prove to be more complicated and to take longer than anticipated, but Iuile also neglects to inform the woman that comes in to take over when her shift ends of the message for Raine . . .

*Excitement made it difficult for Raine to sleep the night before. The thought of going to the orphanage and helping out, even the possibility of making new friends, made it hard to fall asleep. The next morning, however, turned that excitement into nervousness. Now that she was actually here, she wasn't entirely sure of herself.*
*As the day progressed, Raine's nervousness slowly ebbed away. She even made friends with two new kids her age. The first was girl, Issy, with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She was about the same height as Raine but seemed to have an endless amount of energy. The second was a boy, Kal, with messy red hair and green eyes. He was half a foot taller then Raine, but very composed and adult like for his age.*
*Raine spent the entire day with her new friends. Training, sparring and hanging out during their breaks. Luckily, neither of them brought up their families or how they got here. Raine kinda felt guilty that she found her buir, but the others had no family.*
*During their last break, Raine started to wonder what time it was and where her buir and brother got off to. She checked the time and realized that it was getting late, far later than she expected or what she believed they were allowed to stay. Leaving the main hall behind, she began to search for her buir. Unfortunately she couldn't find him anywhere no matter where she looked. Finally, she headed to the front desk, hoping that her buir was just flirting with the receptionist again. All she found though was a woman in her fifties running the front desk. Raine had to force down some panic as she approached the woman.*
"Excuse me. You wouldn't happen to know where Lorcan Bralor is, do you? He's my buir and we came her earlier to help out here today. I...seem to have lost him."
*The woman looked up from her datapad and gave Raine a smile. A smile that turned into a sad one when she explained her situation.* "I'm sorry dear. I don't know who your buir is, but I can check to see." *She began to search through her datapad for anything on Lorcan. A frown appeared on her face after a minute or so before she looked up at Raine.* "I'm sorry, but there's no information on your father or that anyone was helping today. Not even in the director's messages."
"W..what do mean? I came here with him and my brother this morning!" *Raine's mind seemed to stop from the surprise she received. Information suddenly seemed to be flowing through her mind a little slower.* "He's gotta be here somewhere. I mean, he didn't just leave!"
*The woman stepped around the desk and placed a hand on Raine's shoulder. She gave the girl a sympathetic look before leading her down the hallway.* "I know it's hard to except the loss of family at first, as sad as it maybe. Don't worry though, you'll make friends here that are like family, since they have gone through the same ordeal as you have."
*Raine stammered some but couldn't find the worst to argue back. This lady truly thought she was an orphan who couldn't except loss or something. Before Raine could protest, she was lead down the hall and handed over to some caretaker droids. With a reassuring smile, the older woman spoke.* "In the morning we can speak to the director. For now though, it's late, you should get some sleep." *There was nothing Raine could do as the receptionist walked away and the droid directed her towards the girls dorms. One thing was certain though, Raine was going to escape this place before morning.*

Lorcan's guess that it will not take him long to track Gradoni and Eimhin down proves, in the end, to be almost comically wrong. The search for his son and the half human, half Arkanian orphan begins promisingly enough, a street vendor near the orphanage having not only seen the boys heading into the city proper, but also having overheard Gradoni telling Eimhin about his hopes to find his mother at a small farm near the edge of a veshok tree forest just outside of the city.
The farm, when Lorcan, having asked several of the neighboring farm owners about Gradoni's parents, proves to be abandoned; not surprising given that Lorcan had also learned from the neighboring farm owners that Gradoni's parents were both deceased, which was also unsurprising given that the boy has been in an orphanage for most of his life. Lorcan is a skilled enough to tracker to spot signs that two younglings had been at the abandoned farm not long ago, their trail ultimately leading into the veshok forest. Determined to find his son and Gradoni, and still optimistic about his ability to do so before nightfall, Lorcan had continued his search, heading into the forest after the boys.
Once in the forest, events quickly turned for the worse once he had trailed the boys to where they were about to stumble into a nest of fanned rawls near to a deceptively tranquil lake feeding into a fast flowing river leading to a large waterfall. Dispatching the fanned rawls quickly with his sidearm, Lorcan had thought it would only be a short while before they all were safely back at the orphanage. A pair of massive fanned rawls drawn by the blaster fire, unfortunately, proved Lorcan quite wrong when they erupted from the surface of the lake and attacked. Though he ultimately wins the fight, Lorcan is forced near the battle's end to dive into the lake when Eimhin, boldly trying to rescue Gradoni when the Arkanian tumbles into the lake while running from one of the huge fanned rawls that turns its attention towards the easier prey the boys represent, follows his friend into the lake. Having lost his blaster in the fight against the giant rawls after killing one of them with it, Lorcan is able to dispatch the second with his beskad just before it's jaws close on Eimhin's leg. Unfortunately for Lorcan, by the time he is able to swim to where Eimhim is beginning to struggle to keep afloat, Gradoni is being carried into the fast, treacherous currents of the river, and, with Eimhin on his back once he has reached his son, he needs to enter the currents himself to rescue his son's friend.
Reaching Gradoni and, tiring himself from the effort to fight the current after battling the giant fanned rawls, Lorcan does all he can to swim to shore with the boys on his back, but is ultimately carried with them over the waterfall. His buy'ce's internal comlink and sensors damaged when he is swept into a large rock after dropping to the river beneath the falls, Lorcan is dismayed when, after finally managing to reach the shore with the boys none the worse for the wear save for their fright of encountering more fanned rawls after narrowly escaping those that they have just survived, he is unable to call for help and knows he is facing at least a day's journey back to Norg Bral.
The journey back to Norg Bral winds up taking two days, Lorcan's progress slowed by the pace he needs to keep given his son's and Gradoni's young age, though he does take advantage of the opportunity to teach them both some basic survival skills along the way. When, filthy and exhausted, they reach the orphanage at last, dropping Gradoni off and wanting only to get Raine and bring her and his son back home, Lorcan learns that his daughter ran away the orphanage the first night he had been away, he tells himself not to panic since Raine has probably simply gone home to await his return.
When he does not find Raine at their vheh'yaim, Lorcan still fights back his worry and fear, and sets his pride aside as he knows he will need to call for help given how mentally and physically exhausted and tired he is after the past days. Eimhin passed out in his arms, Lorcan wearily makes his way to his brother Faelan's battered speeder and heads for the Oyu'baat, where he hopes to find Torin, aliit'alor of Clan Bralor, so that he can enlist his help in searching for Raine.

*Raine was escorted into the girls dorms by the nanny droid, all the while she took in every detail she could to plan her escape. The droid left the room and locked the door behind it, much to Raine's dislike. She was now stuck here for the time being, until she could make her escape and return home. This made her think, why did her buir forget her? He wasn't that distracted, or was he? She'd find out once she was out of here. These thoughts were cut short when someone hugged her at a dead run, almost knocking her over. Raine barely had time to register what happened when the other person began to speak quickly in an excited manner.*
-Issy- "Raine! What are you doing here? I thought you left!"
"Issy? I was trying to, but I can't find my buir." *She tried pulling away from the girls surprisingly strong grip.* "Also, can't..breath.."
*The call for bed had been ordered and the lights had been turned off. Every youngling in the room was tucked safely in their beds sound asleep or starting to fall asleep. Everyone except Raine and Issy, who both sat on the edge of Issy's bed. Raine had explained everything to her and the fact that she needed to escape. Luckily her new friend agreed to help. They waited till everyone was asleep before making their move. Quietly, they made their way to the door. Good luck seemed to favor Raine, as Issy knew how to bypass the lock from previous excursions out of the room. The door slid open silently and the two girls snuck out and down the dimly lit hallway. They agreed the back entrance of the building was Raine's best bet for escape. It didn't take long for Issy to get the door open to the back of the building, and without alerting anyone in the process.*
*Raine gave her friend one last hug before putting on the dark brown cloak she had borrowed and made her way into the night. Getting home wasn't an easy task, or a short one. After several hours of sneaking around both empty and busy streets, hopping several different freight haulers, Raine finally made it home. Unfortunately for her the place was empty and looked like no one had been back yet. Letting out a frustrated sigh, she went to her room and slept for several hours.*
*Morning light brought renewed energy, but not hope to Raine. She still needed to find both her buir and her brother. Her next destination was the Oyu'baat. Someone there might know where her buir was or at least how to find him.*

The vheh'yaim that Lorcan sets the speeder down in front of is a simple, sturdy abode constructed out of veshok wood, circular in shape and dug into the ground with a cut out entrance so that the interior is partially underground in the traditional fashion.
"Here we are! Lorcan cheerily announces as the speeder powers down, and then picks up a sleeping Eimhin and leads the way inside. Pointing out the main features for Ellie, Lorcan says, Kitchen is there if you're hungry. You can set up in that room there, just move anything in your way into the closet. Refresher is down that hall there, he goes on, and then says, Raine's room is there, Em's is there, and mine is there. I'll just get this little guy to bed, he says with a smile as he looks at Eimhin's sleeping face and feels a fierce, almost frighteningly so, surge of paternal protectiveness and happiness that is becoming less and less strange to him, and worry about his bath in the morning. Looking over at Ellie, he asks, You need anything before we all turn in?"

During his visit to Mandalore to inspect the newly made fleet, Warblade Command, Galaar Fett came to the planet's surface and made for Norg Bral, the home of Clan Bralor, outside of Agamar. The Mandalorian had come to see Torin Bralor, the designated wartime admiral by the Mandalore herself. With the Fett Clan's fleet ready, and the Mandalorian Protectors itching to prove themselves, Galaar did some research and examined the status of the galaxy in the immediate area around the Assembly. With the data gathered, he approached Norg Bral and asked to see Torin Bralor if he was around.

Galaar's inquiries will result in his being directed to the vheh'yaim of Torin Bralor, where they will initially be greeted by Alor'ad Molan Bralor, who had visited Concord Dawn with Torin in the not so distant past. After Molan welcomes Galaar, he leads him to the area of the vheh'yaim set aside as Torin's primary work space, where Torin welcomes Galaar warmly and then leads the way to a circular table made of veshok wood, waiting until his guest and Molan have been seated to seat himself. The room is comfortable, yet utilitarian; the equipment enabling it to be converted readily into a command center easy enough to spot by those attentive to such details. A tall man, fit for his age, Torin moves with a deceptively languid ease; though a discerning eye will easily detect the confident readiness and preparedness ingrained into his comportment.
Shutting down a holoprojected image of the Allied Tion Sector in the Outer Rim Territories floating above the table, Torin gestures towards Galaar as he asks in Mando'ad, making a small joke by using a slight variation on the greeting Galaar had used when they had first met on Concord Dawn, "So, ner'vod, what brings clan Fett all the way to Norg Bral these days?"

A map of the Allied Tion Sector had been spotted when Galaar entered the command room. He wondered if the wartime admiral had a similar mindset and idea on his mind in terms of what the Fett had come to speak about. Hopefully, that was the case. The Mandalorian would proceed to walk up to Torin after he had been allowed to approach.
Mandalore called to me as the fleet for Concord Dawn was just about ready. I came to inspect the launching myself.
He then reaches into his armor and pulls out a datapad, handing it to Torin.
And to suggest the time is now that we Mandalorians do what we were meant to do. With the militarization of our people coming to a conclusion, I have taken the liberty of send scouting parties through systems neighboring us and compiled data of three fitting targets for us to raid and, possibly, to occupy.
The datapad contained data concering Myrkr, Lianna and Jabiim.
With the Galactic Alliance gone, plenty of worlds are ripe for us to attack. Either for a means of expansion or to gain necessary resources for the future of the Mandalorian Assembly. Wouldn't you agree, ner'vod? Besides... the Protectors been itching for a good fight.

Nodding when Galaar explains that inspecting his newly constructed fleet had been the reason he had come to Manda'yaim, Torin exchanges an almost amused glance with Molan when Galaar goes on to lay out what has brought him to Norg Bral, which happens to be the very thing which Torin and Molan had been discussing when Galaar had arrived.
Resting his chin in his right hand after accepting the datapad from Galaar and reviewing the contents while Galaar continues speaking, his expression becoming intent and attentive as Galaar explains his idea in more detail, Torin nods once more when Galaar has concluded, "You'll be pleased, ner'vod, to know that the Mand'alor and I are of like minds where the time having arrived for the Mando'ade to assert ourselves is concerned. Chuckling, he adds, And that your list of potential targets is nearly identical to that I have selected. Explaining his statements in more depth, Torin says, Lianna and Jabiim both offer tempting rewards; shipbuilding materials and components in the case of the former, and useful or valuable ores and other raw materials in the latter. The possibility of a raid on Mykr, though, had not occurred to me, he muses with a grunt before settling more comfortably in his chair and resting his hands on the arms of his chair, The Mand'alor feels, and I agree, that our strikes should be of the quick and quiet variety, and aimed primarily at acquiring resources for MandalMotors, so occupation would likely not be an objective we'd pursue at this time."
Drumming the fingers of his right hand on the arm of his chair as he considers all that Galaar had said, Torin smiles after a moment and gestures towards him as he says, "It's good the Protectors are itching for a good fight, ner'vod, as I'd like to fight beside them when we raid Lianna if that suits you? Rubbing his chin, Torin goes on after Galaar had answered his question, Which leaves us with two targets in need of volunteers to take them on. I'll put the word out, he says, and see which of the other clans shares that itch of ours."

It seems Torin desired that Galaar join him in raiding Lianna personally. This was agreeable with the Fett.
We should still look to occupying new worlds nonetheless. Myrkr was once a possession of the Mandalorians during the reign of the Architect as well as Obroa-skai. These worlds have since fallen off our radar during the transition of leadership. If anything, Mandalorians need to show the galaxy that we are reclaiming our warrior roots and seeking to make ourselves a power in the galaxy.
That was the whole point of the Architect's designs and plans after all. To rebuild the Mandalorian people after the disastrous reign of Ashrah the Lesser and the resulting collapse of the Mandalorian Empire. The clans had finally, again, known unity and had gotten to a point of reasonable strength. At least enough to police their territories and do some minor expansion.
It is something we should consider nonetheless. We may not be the Crusaders of the Mandalorian Empire, but we are still Mandalorians. We were born warriors and we must keep our swords sharp and our arms strong.

Torin nods in agreement when Galaar has concluded a rather more impassioned bit of speech making than what they had been discussion would see, to Torin, to have warranted or invited; though he is not entirely surprised that such would be the case given what he has seen from Galaar, who is nothing if not possessed of strong opinions where the direction and future of the Mando'ade is concerned, in their previous interactions. Torin has found that, more often than not, he and Galaar of like minds, their kindred desires to see the Mando'ade flourish and grow stronger guiding their ideas and decisions; their differences seem to be primarily ones of temperament. Where Torin is more patient, stoic and terse in nature, Galaar seems more ardent, and inclined towards exhortation.
"You'll get no argument from me, Torin begins by way of addressing the thrust of Galaar's comments in a way meant to provide reassurance that his sentiments are shared and his hopes not in vain, and while occupation is not one of the objectives of these current raids, that is not at all to say that it will not be considered at another time. Which, Torin smiles in such a way that his own enthusiasm is evident despite his equable nature, it most assuredly will, ner'vod. Returning to the business at hand, specifically the joint raid their clans will be embarking upon, Torin asks, What intel were your scouts able to gather concerning Lianna?"

Galaar was thankful that Torin understood why the Mandalorian desired to see the Assembly expand. It was necessary in order to protect the Mandalorian nation. There were plenty of neutral worlds that certainly wouldn't rub against any nations badly. After all, the Bralors were said to have good relations with the Imperials. The First Order seemed content with their territorial gains since the fall of the Galactic Alliance.
On the matter of Lianna...
Scouts report the presence of a small, but modern, defending fleet. It seems to be one of the Galactic Alliance Remnant forces. Government remains local to the system and has begun to set itself up as a separate state. However, their military is not anything worthy.
The Mandalorian proceeds over to where Torin was, bringing up the reports of Lianna on the datapad.
A core of Galactic Alliance professional soldiers stands, but majority of the defending troops are quality of either poorly trained militia or ill-equipped paramilitary. It's hardly anything that wouldn't be of great threat to the Protectors. The fleet however... scouting reports that the lead vessel is a MC140 Scythe-class main battle cruiser, augmented by a couple Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruisers. No more than ten support vessels of frigate and cruiser size.
Galaar taps the folder of the various pictures taken by the scouting vessel, showing the images of the fleet, in orbit, around Lianna and her shipyards. Given the natural resources of Lianna, if this fleet wasn't destroyed soon, and the materials taken by the Assembly, the government local to the planet could drum up quite the defensive fleet.
However, with our militarization, we should be able to handle this fleet quite well.

After perusing the images captured by the scouting vessel while listening to all that Galaar says, Torin nods with a grunt, agreeing, "I think you're right. Drumming his fingers on the edge of the table, lips pursed in thought, he says, I can assemble a fleet that, coupled with whatever ships you can spare, capable of occupying, if not severely crippling, their fleet. Once we have their undivided attention, the Protectors can make for the shipyards and procure the materials. Arching an eyebrow inquisitively, interested to hear whatever thoughts Galaar might have about what tactical approach they might take to accomplish their mission, he asks, Unless you've other ideas about how to go about accomplishing our objective?"

Galaar listens to Torin's assessment and battle plan.
We will need to be ready to raid the planet's surface though, Torin. Sienar Fleet Systems HQ is located there and would certainly have resources stored there as well. Definitely a trove of technology and refined metals that could be grabbed up. The planet is known for its technological exports.
If approved, the Protectors would be given quite the battlefield to gain experience. The Mandalorians had not been in such combat for a very long time and their desire for battle and glory was ever present. Lianna needed to be thoroughly raided for every bit of resource that could help the Assembly.
Lianna is likely the greatest prize to be raided after all. We need to ensure its wealth is thoroughly gained.
