==Mando Plague War SL== +Aquila, Bolnua, Darkness+ <<113PP (123 ABY); O7 Sector, Mandalore, Norg Bral>>
The Model 11 GR75 on approach to the stronghold of Clan Bralor was entirely typical. However, this particular ship was carrying a Diplomatic Utility Pod. The full amenities and set up would likely not be needed, as Clan Bralor doubtless had their own arrangement for hosting guests, it was standard practice for diplomatic missions to be sent with a full pod just in case. This pod in particular was carrying a rather special envoy. Princess Aquila Dizen Or'dinii, had been dispatched directly by her mother after the data packet had been reviewed and forwarded with the highest priorities. Despite the internal reforms and local troubles of running an empire in the unknown regions, this was deemed a major enough threat to pull an entire assault legion from its current assignment. While the legion itself was still elsewhere, being recalled and quickly refitted, it would be ready to join the fight soon. Until then, Aquila was on her way to make direct contact with Clan Bralor, who seemed to be at the tip of this particular spear.
Routine comms would make sure the M11 had a clear flight path and permission to land well before it could be targeted by any weapons. While no hostility was expected, it was best to be careful about such things. Especially with diplomatic passengers. Doubly so with members of the Royal Family on board.

What appeared to be the remnants of the Clan Ordo Fleet appeared over Manda'yaim with little more than a Keldabe-class battleship and a pair of Teroch-class Heavy Frigates. What ever had befallen the fleet was unclear, but it had seen much better days. From The Architect was launched a lone Kom'rk-class fighter/transport down toward the fortress home of Clan Bralor. Contrary to outside appearances however, only a single member of Clan Ordo sat aboard the Gauntlet Starfighter alongside the Aliit'alor of Clan Eldar and an Alor`ad of Clan Ha'rangir, while the Aliit'alor of Clan Ha'rangir sat at the controls.
As the Gauntlet Starfighter came into range of Norg Bral, Clan Ordo clearance codes were transmitted to request a landing zone.

Alerted to the almost back to back arrivals of the representatives sent from Clans Ordo and Or'dinii, the Aliit'alor of his Clan, Torin Bralor- who even at 70 years old still carries himself with the poise and vigor of a much younger man, his ice blue eyes ever alert and watchful - had instructed his flight controllers to grant the Kom'rk from Clan Ordo clearance to land and assign them a flight path to the landing pads situated in the north western section of Norg Bral, where the Model 11 GR75 had also been been instructed to land, although on a different enough flight path to prevent the possibility, however remote, the pilots of either ship might be careless enough to cause a collision.
Not one to assign tasks to others he is capable of doing himself, Torin sets out for the landing pads to meet the representatives personally, accompanied by Zdzislaw Bralor and Dáirine Priest of House Bralor, the trio arriving in time to see the Model 11 GR75 setting down while the Kom'rk is still on it's approach. Motioning for Zdzislaw to go and greet the Clan Ordo representative when the Kom'rk lands, Torin - armored in green beskar'gam with subtle orange flourishes - and Dáirine - her beskar'gam blue and red with some yellow detailing on her gauntlets - move towards the landing pad where the Model 11 GR75 has set down.
As Torin and Dáirine wait outside the GR75, Zdzislaw - his beskar'gam black and silver - moves towards the landing pad the Kom'rk, its wings moving into their upright landing position as it descends, is about to set down on to greet the occupants of the Gauntlet starfighter when they disembark. Like Torin and Dáirine, Zdzislaw has a military bearing, and is armed currently only with a Dissuader KD-30 slugthrower - the sidearm preferred by many among Clan Bralor's military and naval forces - and a melee weapon, which in Zdzislaw's case is a somewhat longer than usual beskar forged Beskad sheathed on his back.

Ra finished powering down the Kom'rk before heading back through the Gauntlet. Set, Rundas, and Svarog had already disembarked the jump seats and were waiting by the rear hatch. Set was clad in his white and green armour approaching a style of Clone Phase II armour with his DC-15S slung across his back. Rundas was garbed in similar coloured armour, though of a more Mandalorian style with much more forest tones and a Energy Bow. Svarog was clad in blue and silver armour, but was bereft of any weapons save the Beskar Forging Hammer slung from his right thigh. Ra, himself, was clad in blue and white armour also approaching the style of Clone Armour mixed with Robes and a cloak. A personal energy shield was slung over his back, while his crossguard saber hilt hunt from his belt.
Ra activated the hatch controls and descended the ramp first, with Svarog following out next, followed by Rundas and then finally Set. The quartet of Mando'ade came to a stop not far from Zdzislaw, with Ra taking a couple steps closer and offering out his hand. Su cuy'gar ner'vod, We have come to answer the call sent out by Aliit Bralor. I am Ra Ha'rangir, Aliit'Alor of my clan, this is my brother Set, also of Aliit Ha'rangir. Rundas, Aliit'Alor of Eldar. And Svarog of Aliit Ordo. While his right hand remained extended in greeting, his left hand motioned to each of his Vod in turn as he named them.

==Mando Plague War SL== +Aquila, Bolnua, Darkness+ <<113PP (123 ABY); O7 Sector, Mandalore, Norg Bral>> The large ship settled down with surprising grace. The shining silver of its ultrachrome hide reflecting the blue sky and green forests in equal measure. As it settled to the ground, a hatch opened and a ramp extended from the front of the cargo pod. Exiting to greet the waiting representatives of Bralor were a trio of uniformed figures, plus two in deep crimson armor. The uniforms were heavily reminiscent of Imperial Uniforms from the era of Palpatine, but even a casual glance would reveal the cloth to actually be armorweave, to those that would recognize the material. The service cap though, had been replaced with a wide brimmed hat of some type. The uniforms were surprisingly sparse, with only rank plaques on the chest, a bit of trim on the cuffs, and an insignia of some sort on the collar. The uniformed figures where what looked to be a male Human or near Human in the lead, with a female Zabrak and a female Rakata following a few paces behind. It was impossible to determine even the species of the armored pair, and they seemed to following not the leader of the trio, but the Zabrak instead. As they got closer some more detail could be seen. The rank plaque of the lead figure had a golden rectangle above a single golden square, while the cuff trim was a single braid of gold below another lone circle of gold. The Zabrak had A single silver rectangle and a single silver braid, while the Rakata had Three silver squares and a three silver cuff rings. At their collar, each had a stylized icon of an arch or gate of some type, done in gold. The armored figures wore no rank insignia, but beneath their mirrored faceplates their collars each had a red shield, barely visible against the red of their armor.Stepping up to the greeting party, the human introduced the group.-Bolnua Good Day, I am Quaestor Bolnua of Clan Or'dinii. These are my aides: Master Knight Aquila Dizen of Clan Or'dinii and Chief Knight Darkness Riata of the New Infinite Empire Socii System. We are here representing the Office of Diplomacy and the Mandalorian Empire at the wishes of Her Majasty, Imperator Aya Dizen of Clan Or'dinii. As each figure was introduced, they bowed slightly to the greeting party. Bolnua himself looked fairly plain and unremarkable. A light tan, sandy brown hair, and neither heavy set nor light. In many ways, he was rather forgettable, but he did have a forceful personality that seemed to draw attention. Aquila has skin a dark, almost burnt orange, with extremely dark colored hair. Her horns were not trimmed in the usual Zabrak fashion, but allowed to grow long, with special slits cut into her hat to accommodate them. She was also rather short and stocky, she had the look of someone that would simply walk through a boulder if it got in her way. The only other notable feature was a pair of eyes that looked more like molten gold than anything else. A sure mark of being a member of the Royal House to anyone that knew. Darkness on the other hand had scales of a pale green color. She looked much less sure of herself than the other two, but was doing a fair job of smoother or at least attempting to hide the feeling. He did not bother introducing the armored figures, but they seemed single minded in their task anyway. As they talked the ship finished settling into standby and a fourth uniformed figure joined them. This was a zabrak with still slightly damp hair, and he was still settling his uniform hat in place as he exited the ship. His uniform was like the others, but had a Black Trident icon and three pips like Darkness did. Unlike the others, he had a glittering ruby in the shape of a pair of wings mounted above his rank plaque.-Bolnua And this is our pilot, Chief Marine Adhik Boro of the New Corporate Sector Authority Socii System. the last figure of the group did the same small bow as the other had. Those familiar with the group that was officially known as the Mandalorian Empire, but was also often called the Infinite Imperium or the just the Imperium, would know that it wasn't a purely Mandalorian group. While the Royal Family and all the citizenry were mandalorian, the group also contained a large number of non-mandalorian subjects referred to collectively as Socii. They would also be aware that Quaestor was a fairly high ranking officer, while the others all were classed as junior petty officers.

1 Greetings my brothers. Welcome to Norg Bral. I am Sergeant Zdzislaw Bralor. It is good you have come so soon. 2 Our Clan leader, Torin Bralor will meet with us all soon to speak of the war that has come to Mandalore. Ra was grateful as Zdzislaw reached out his own hand for the shake. Being that their arrival had been under the pretence of Clan Ordo guise, he had been prepared for a less than welcoming greeting from their Vod and a demand for answers regarding their deception. However it was clear that the threat to Manda'yaim and gathering allies to defend her was a much higher priority. Sometimes it was better to have a mysterious ally than to have none at all.
Ra gave a nod of his head as the handshake was released and the Ruus'alor welcomed them to Norg Bral.We came as fast as we could Ner'vod. It would appear it has been fast enough, for Manda'yaim still stands strong! His attention turned across to the landing pad where Torin and Dáirine were pointed out to be waiting near a GR75 featuring the emblem of Clan Or'dinii. Something of a cold aura seemed to emanate out from Ra through the Force as his thoughts lingered upon one of the many alias' that the Clan went by: The Mandalorian Empire. It was a name and legacy which would forever live in infamy for the ruin that it brought to the Mando'ade, most especially under the reign of Ashrah. A man whom Ra refused to acknowledge as a true Mando'ade. His crusade had splintered the Clans and forced those like himself into hiding for the powers they wielded.
As far as he was concerned, any that laid claim to that legacy were not Vode. Damocles had claimed the Helm of Mand'alor and journeyed to each Clan's homeworld to unite them into the Mandalorian Assembly. Returning the Clans to their proper place and purpose as Kad Ha'rangir had decreed. Mando'ade were free people. Warriors and Farmers, not Imperials. It dishonoured the memory of all The Architect had done to bring their people into this modern age.
Calming his temper, Ra fell in with Set, Rundas, and Svarog and followed Zdzislaw across from their own landing pad to that of where Clan Or'dinii's vessel sat.Svarog could feel the chill emanating from Ra and decided to take the initiative in answering Zdzislaw's questionI wish I brought better news, but Damocles Ordo is dead, in circumstances unrelated to this current crisis. My Clan is without an Alor and I find myself a poor replacement for his smithing skills...Ra found himself pulled out of his irritation at Clan Or'dinii by the reminder of The Architect's passing. The cold aura seemed to warm slightly as he spoke. It is a sad day for all Mando'ade, but he died with honour. My clan would see his burial tended to as a fellow devotee to Kad Ha'rangir. We owe a lot to Damocles, we had stayed hidden in the shadows for countless generations for the shame our Clan once brought upon itself. He inspired me and others to try and regain our honour. Kad willing, we will...Rundas' hand came up and gave the pauldron a squeeze. He'd grown up alongside the remnant that now stood as Clan Ha'rangir and was all too aware of the shame that they had felt, even after all these years. The Clan Eldar Aliit'Alor directed his comment to Zdislaw, his voice light and slightly lyrical as he spokeWe all owe a great debt to The Architect. Aliit Eldar might have failed without his aide. We cherish the opportunity to repay the Assembly that he helped found, and stand with our Vod once more after so long away.Ra gave a long hard stare as the delegates of Clan Or'dinii disembarked their GR75 and made their introductions, their voices carrying quite easily for all to hear. It was perhaps a good thing his helmet had thus far remained unremoved, else he would have shown them his own greeting. With those we consider Vode anyway...

Having acquired the habit of observing and adopting those social customs of visiting Clans he deems appropriate to fostering a sense of, if not kinship then at least camaraderie, between himself, his clan and those they fight or work alongside, Torin notes the way Quaestor Bolnua's comrades bow when introduced and, when the introductions have all been made bows as he greets them all, saying in his gravelly, calm and self-assured voice, Welcome to Norg Bral. I am Aliit'alor Torin Bralor, and, he motions towards Dáirine who inclines her head in lieu of a bow, this is Alor`ad Dáirine Priest of House Bralor. We appreciate Her Majesty's having sent you so quickly after receiving our message. Looking over towards where Zdzislaw and the quartet of Mando'ade that had arrived in the Kom'rk are making their way towards them, Torin - unaware as yet of the fact that the Mando'ade that had transmitted Clan Ordo clearance codes are not quite what the codes suggested they were - gestures towards them as he says, Clan Ordo has also responded to our message.
Clasping his hands behind his back, Torin explains, We have arranged suites for you all at the Yaim Be'chaaj teh Yaim Hotel and Tapcafe located a short walk from the landing pads here, and once our brothers from Clan Ordo join us we will go there and discuss the present state of the war with the Plague Lord.
Zdzislaw nods when Ra explains he and his comrades had come as hastily as they could and notes that Manda'yaim remains strong despite its recent conflicts with the Plague Lord, lifting a hand and making a fist as he agrees with Ra's sentiments with a hearty, Oya! Your arrival is well timed indeed, brothers. After the most recent battle with the Plague Lord's forces here on Manda'yaim there has been no further overtly hostile actions. Their surviving forces here on Manda'yaim have, as our message detailed, gone underground to search for the Infinity Gate they believe is somewhere here on Mandalore, Zdzislaw explains less enthusiastically, and we have our fleet in orbit as well as atmospheric combat air patrols searching for them, but have had no luck as yet in locating them. Waving a hand to dismiss the topic as it will inevitably come up when Torin meets with their newly arrived comrades soon, Zdzislaw says, We will speak more of those things later though.
Bowing his head respectfully when Savrog shares the news of Damocles Ordo's death, Zdzislaw is silent for a moment as he remembers Damocles, and then clasps Savorg's shoulder companionably as he says, A sad day for all Mando'ade indeed, brother. Making a fist and lightly punching Ra's pauldron, Zdzislaw chides him for his lack of confidence, telling him, You have come when Manda'yaim needs you, brother, speak no more of shame or lost honor when it is not your Clan's past but your present deeds that define you.
Tilting his head to the side inquisitively when Ra adds and addendum to Rundas' admission of desire to stand with his Mando'ade brothers now which, judging from the direction Ra's buy'ce's visor is facing when the addendum is added, suggests he may have some quarrel or issue with the Or'dinii, Zdzislaw nearly inquires into the matter but decides to let it lay for now in the hopes the fact that they are all gathered here to defend Manda'yaim will lead Ra to set whatever issues he might have aside, and says only, Come, brothers, we have rooms prepared for you at the the Yaim Be'chaaj teh Yaim Hotel and Tapcafe, adding with a hint of pride, which I own and operate with my family. My wife, Nomusa, and daughters will have prepared a hearty meal for us to tuck into as we strategize.
Once the two groups have linked up and introductions have been made all around, Torin and Zdzislaw lead the way to the hotel and tapcafe - which is more comfortable and homey than ostentatious, and has been closed for the time being as it is used to house Clan Bralor's guests - and, once they are inside the lobby, inform their guests where their suites are located and where the tapcafe they will meet in is situated. Torin, once all of the information about the hotel has been given, asks their visiting comrades, Would you like some time to relax and refresh yourselves before we dine and discuss strategy, or shall we make our way to the tapcafe now?

As the two groups were gathered, Bolnua noticed the insignia of the other group, he recognized Ordo, but not the other two. Once introduced he made careful mental note of each name given taking an effort to remember their respective insignia as well. As before the trio bowed slightly to the two Aliit'alore & the representative from Ordo. While he hadn't known Damocles personally, Bolnua had respected the old smith and passed on his condolences on hearing the news of his passing.
While the pilot remained with the ship, the three diplomats and the two guards accompanied their host as he leads them to the mentioned tapcafe. It was a comfortable location, and drew a mummer of approval from the Rakata, along with matching nods of agreement from the other two diplomats.
-Bolnua Given the urgency of the message, it might be a good idea to get right on it. Our military is in the process of cycling a legion out of its current deployment zone, so it will likely take a few more days before they are ready to ship out. But the sooner we have information to pass on about where they might be headed, the better.

Ra had heard about the Infinity Gates mentioned in stories from bygone era's when they had enabled instant travel between two gates. A small handful of stories had involved heroes and heroines stepping through them to defeat some villain or great evil. He'd never given much truth to those stories until he had seen the Temple upon Dathomir. He saved any questions or comments he had about them for later as Zdzislaw indicated such matters would be discussed in the briefing.
Svarog smiled beneath his buy'ce, remembering the many times Damocles had made a similar gesture to try and cheer him up. He inclined his head in thanks
Ra meanwhile let his shoulder roll back with the punch as their host tried to offer words of comfort. Ones he would have also given in a similar situation We most often tend to ignore our own advice. But you are right, what's in the past is in the past. We can only change the stories we write into the future... As the two groups joined, Ra did his best to be cordial with the members of Clan Or'dinii, offering a bow with the others in return before Torin and the other hosts of Clan Bralor lead the assembled party to the Yaim Be'chaaj teh Yaim Hotel and Tapcafe. It had been a while since Ra or any of the others had slept somewhere that was as luxurious as the Yaim. Likely it would be a long time before they would experience such comfort again. He turned to Torin as he slid off his helmet and tucked it under his arm, revealing his light brown hair and neatly trimmed beard It would seem rude to those busy in their search to delay such an important meeting. There'll be plenty of time to rest later...

Yaim Be'chaaj teh Yaim Hotel and Tapcafe
Torin nods after Bolnua, explaining that their military is in the midst of cycling troops out of their present deployment area would benefit from having an idea of where they will be headed as soon as possible, telling him, Agreed, and then motioning towards the passage leading to the hotel's tapcafe as he says, If you will all come this way, we can eat while we talk, and then starts heading into the tapcafe area.
Zdzislaw, clapping Ra companionably on the back after removing his own buy'ce and revealing his face, jokes, "You might be a bit optimistic about the rest, brother, since Torin is not one to sit idly by when there are actions he can take, but I can at least promise you a good meal before we find ourselves heading out to deal with the Plague Lord situation," and then leads Ra and his companions into the tapcafe.
When they all reach the tapcafe, a large area featuring circular tables and a bar decorated in a similar homey style to the rest of the hotel, Zdzislaw's family has already laid out a variety of traditional Mando'ade fare in the centers of several of the tables - steaming pots of Gi dumping and red gourd soups, deep dishes of spicy tiingilar, plates piled with sliced roasted shatual, and plates of sliced, freshly baked uj'alayi for dessert - that Torin and Zdzislaw lead their vod'e to.
Zdzislaw's 18 year old triplets Ife, Ige and Ime - Zdzislaw's youngest daughters, all wearing identical sets of yellow and white beskar'gam - take drink orders from the everyone, their pet Strill, Prudii following them closely as they go and get mugs of spiced caf, Ne'tra gal or Mandallian Narcolethe, flutes of Mandalorian wine or short glasses of Tihaar to deliver to those that request them while Zdzislaw's wife, Nomusa bustles about in her yellow and black beskar'gam to make sure everyone has plates and utensils and asks if anyone would like something that is not featured prepared for them.
Once things have begun to settle down and everyone has had a chance to eat and drink a bit, Torin raps his mug of Netra'gal with a fork and says in between bites of roast shatual, "There have been a few developments since we sent the message to the Clans, explaining, The first and most promising is that we have allied with a group of Clone Troopers that found themselves thrown out their own time and into ours, briefly describing how Captain Dice and his men found themselves on Agamar after their hyperspace accident before continuing, Captain Dice and some of our troops and ships left Agamar and are bound for Concord Dawn to meet with Clan Vhett, with a smaller group heading to Ossus to see if the Jedi there have any information about the Infinity Gate Von Bralor's forces are searching for here on Manda'yaim, explaining how the orbital and atmospheric sensor searches being conducted have yet to reveal where Von Bralor and the Afflicted had gone after escaping from the destruction of their tower and the defeat of their Technobeasts before saying, Rather than wait to learn whether or not the Jedi will have any useful information about the Infinity Gate, I propose we send a force to Terminus as soon as possible to learn whatever we can about Von Bralor, his association with the Eye and the Plague Lord, and where he was sent to Manda'yaim from if possible. If the journey to Terminus reveals the location of Xeraxus, or we can find the Infinity Gate before Von Bralor does, we just might be able to turn the tables on the Plague Lord by launching an invasion of our own."

Eamon tilts his head to the side after the female in the silver and purple beskar'gam speaks, her voice - even with the distortion from her helmet - finally triggering the recognition that her armor had not, sounding more warm than his prior strictly professional tone had allowed for when he says, Ascalon? His demeanor becomes more at ease, his hand no longer hovering over his sidearm as he explains to his companion, Ibic cuyir solus be mhi, even though the former member of Clan Bralor is now a member of Clan Ordo; Damocles having asked Torin, aliit'alor of Clan Bralor both then and now, that she be allowed to join his company, with Torin allowing her to make her own decision and Ascalon deciding to join Damocles' company. Gar draar jor’chaajir, gar draar miit'gaanar, Eamon playfully chastises Ascalon, as she has not been in contact, so far as he knows, with any of her former Clanmates for quite some time, then says sincerely, Jate at haa'taylir gar tug'yc, vod. *
As his comrade comms to have the gate opened, Eamon tells Ascalon in Mando'a, Torin is still aliit'alor, stepping aside as the gate opens. Waving a farewell as Ascalon and her companion board their speeder and pass him on their way inside, Eamon quips, I trust you still know the way to his vheh'yaim?
When Ascalon and her companion arrive outside of Torin's vheh'yaim, he is outside to personally greet them as Eamon had alerted him to their impending arrival. "Ascalon'ika, Torin, buy'ce tucked beneath an arm, greets his former Clanswoman warmly in Mando'a, then nods an equally warm greeting to her companion. A seventy year old human male with closely cropped grey and blonde hair, armored in green beskar'gam with subtle orange flourishes, Torin carries himself with the poise and vigor of a much younger man, his ice blue eyes alert and watchful. with a generous hint of pleased, good humor sparkling in them at the moment. Motioning for the two visiting Mando'ade to invite them to accompany him into his vheh'yaim, Torin invites them to, Come inside and sit down, and then asks Ascalon as they begin to walk, To what do I owe the unexpected pleasure of your visit, Ascalon'ika?
* She is one of us . . . You never call, you never write. . . Good to see you again, sister. [ Mandy | Torin's vheh'yaim | Norg Bral | Mandalore ] Attn: Damocles Ordo [RETIRED] & Harini Bralor When they were inside the fort city, Mandy looked around with curiosity and interest, but also seemed wide-eyed and at a loss. She was now just following the only person she knew, and was surrounded by strangers in armour. She felt oddly inadequate with only her bracers and lightsaber.
She made no sound, except for her raspy breath from the life-support mask. She gazed wonderingly at the stately man. Perhaps he would be seeing to her continued training? Should she speak? But she wasn't asked to, and furthermore, she didn't know what to speak or say, so she decided there was wisdom in silence and following Ascalon's actions to the hilt.

As the group settles down to eat, Riata takes a small bottle out of a pouch and eats one of the pills within. While the Rakata are biologically obligate carnivores, modern medicine always many wonders. Including pills to help digest things not normally allowed by many species. Once their host had given them an update of the situation, Bolnua pulled up the summery from the Intel people in his internal HUD. The other two members of the delegation from Or'dinii could see he was accessing a view screen, but it only showed up as a ghostly square of haze hanging in front of him, their own cybernetic HUD's not having access to read the screen. Though they couldn't tell if that was due to the security on the document itself, or just how Bolnua had his privacy settings.
-Bolnua This is only a preliminary report, but the intel shop figured it would be best to put all the cards on the table up front. More info might be coming down the line, but they are still working on it. First Xeraxus is on the catalogue of known Rakata Core worlds. Even better, according to the initial data check it is one we know the exact location of. Bad news, according to our info, that place is a barren waste. No intelligent life, minimal ecosphere, extensive Rakata ruins.
He pauses to let that info sink in, before resuming.
-Bolnua Given the threat however, intel is worried that we might have misidentified it. That particular world has been bumped to the top of the survey list, so we should be able to determine the accuracy of our identification. Next is a mix of good and bad news. First, we have about 83 percent of the Rakata core worlds accounted for, though that leaves about 103 worlds we don't even have a location for yet. We also have over 400 secondary sites identified, of which about two dozen might be core worlds that are simply too damaged to identify properly as core worlds. The bad news is that while many of those have been tentatively identified, less than ten percent of them have been firmly surveyed. This means that if the world we think is Xeraxus is some other world, there are nearly 450 other worlds it could be, just within our list of located worlds.
He looked grim at having to deliver this news. On one hand, it was a massive step forward beyond just a name. On the other hand, it was still a huge list of possible places to search for an active and imminent threat.
-Bolnua In addition to the people at intel and archives, I've gotten reports that the Iron Guard is being consulted as well. The have a fairly extensive archive of force lore of their own and might be able to provide some additional clues. Knight Riata is also representing the New Infinite Empire. And the Over-Predor has directly commanded that all members of their Socii System with relevant knowledge on the subject be questioned. If I am correct, there are still a fairly large number of Ancient Rakata within their ranks. Any one of which might hold the key.
Darkness Riata nodded to confirm the Quaestor's statement.
-Darkness Indeed, my own grandfather was born and raised in the old Infinite Empire, before he was locked in a mind prison and eventually released by the Clan Or'dinii. Such people are by no means common, but there are still many of them if you search.

Upon arriving to the table, Set, Rundas, and Svarog had all removed their own helmets and sat them aside to partake of and enjoy the meal prepared. Ra was not one to turn down a meal, especially when such troubling times meant such a meal was unlikely to be available any time soon. When at last the drinks were coming around, Ra grabbed up a cup of Tihaar and took a good swig of it as Torin laid out the most up to date details on what was happening and what the plan for their next actions was looking like. Trying to search for an Infinity Gate was certainly an undertaking of tremendous commitment, and Manda'yaim was no small world. There were a billion places it could be located A pre-emptive strike upon Terminus does seem the most valuable course of action... We'd be best to find this, Xeraxus. No stories I've ever heard of the Infinity Gates has ever ended well for those that do not understand them. Better to let them remain buried and hidden if we can. We stand ready to join this expedition. Once his master is defeated, Von Bralor will be much more easily scattered to the winds.

Ascalon was not sure any would have remembered her from her time spent amongst their ranks before she took off with The Architect to build the Mandalorian Assembly. But it would seem there still remained a few with long enough memoriesMaybe if you were strong enough to be worth writing to vod...She slipped back into the drivers seat and gave the guards a waveI'm sure I can find my way if I somehow managed to get lost.Truth be told, despite how much time had passed, Norg Bral's layout had changed very little. Some shops and houses had been replaced by others, but the street layout was the same and thus made it that much easier to navigate the fort town to Torin's residence. As she exited the speeder, she pulled her helmet free to reveal her green skin and the silver face tattoos she bore. A small smile graced her lips as she walked with Mandy toward her former Aliit'alorba'buir... Still looking as spry as ever...She let out a chuckle, certain he would not be too offended by her playful comments as she followed alongside himDamocles has sent me to ask a favour of you, once more... Allow me to introduce Mandy Ordo, daughter of Markas Ordo. Damocles was hoping Clan Bralor might take her in as a trainee for a time?

Yaim Be'chaaj teh Yaim Hotel and Tapcafe
After Bolnua has given everyone an update on what Clan Or'dinii's intel shop has been up to since receiving news of the war with the Plague Lord, Torin takes a moment to absorb it all before saying, "Narrowing down the search for Xeraxus to even that number is more than we have managed to accomplish, so I'd still consider it progress. If you need any help with the surveys, I might be able to spare a few ships. As the Rakata are more likely to welcome questioning from those they know, Torin doesn't think it probable that offering to aid with that part of the search would be accepted, and so says only, Keep us apprised of any thing the Rakata might reveal about the location of the Infinity Gate on Manda'yaim, and then adds, We appreciate everything you've done and are doing."
Taking a swig of Netra'gal as Ra weighs in on what has been discussed, Torin nods when he has concluded, agreeing, "Terminus does seem like the more likely source of actionable intel, at least in the short term, especially if the location of Xeraxus can be learned or at least narrowed down a bit more. Once Captain Dice and our people return from Concord Dawn I think we should select a team to send to Terminus and have them set out as soon as possible. Drumming his fingers on the tabletop, he continues, What we know about Terminus suggests it is a wretched hive of scum and villainy, so a strike might not be the best option if we want to learn anything useful about Von Bralor or where he came from. Going in under the guise of mercenaries might afford us a better chance of gaining intel, he muses aloud, thinking that trying to fit in with the scum might not only avoid the conflict going in with blasters blazing would invite, but could also prevent the possibility of killing off anyone on Terminus that has information about their enemy before having the opportunity to question them. As even the subtle approach does not guarantee that fighting would break out, Torin grins wryly as he adds, It would probably be prudent, however, to have a sizeable back up force waiting nearby in case things go south."
Torin's Vheh'yaim (Prior to Battle of Norgal-dûr)
Motioning for Ascalon and Mandy to sit at the circular table in the center of the office area, which is decorated in a homely, comfortable way despite the fact it has enough equipment in it to serve as a command center when needed, Torin smiles and tells Ascalon in a pleased and playful tone, "Always the flatterer," when she points out he is looking as spry as ever, and then takes a seat as she explains what has brought her back to Norg Bral after so long.
Taking an appraising look at Mandy that is leavened by the kind expression accompanying it, noting her apparent age as well as the life-support mask she wears, Torin rests his chin in his hand for a moment before, addressing Mandy as the request for training had been made on her behalf, he smiles and says, "We are always more than happy to help a vod with honing their skills. Tell me, Mandy, have you passed your verd'goten? Most Mando'ade complete the right of passage at the age of thirteen, but while Mandy is clearly older, she may have been adopted at a more advanced age and not yet completed the right of passage and been accepted as an adult in the eyes of Mandalorian culture. Adding another question to the first to determine what Mandy is seeking to be trained in whether it be to prepare to complete her verd'goten or to simply further her mastery of certain skills, Torin asks to help him decide who it would be best to have take on the training of Markas Ordo's daughter, What are you hoping to be trained in while you are here with us?"

[ Mandy | Torin's vheh'yaim | Norg Bral | Mandalore ] Attn: Damocles Ordo [RETIRED] & Harini BralorAt the mention of the verd'goten, Mandy's eyes lowered as memories came up once more. It was all still too fresh. Too recent. She was not ready to be separated from him yet. But she also knew when she had completed her rite of passage. Because it was the day he died.
“My...verd'goten...” said Mandy wearily, “...was completed, when I...when I brought my father to his peo-to Mandalore. I had met him...when I was thir-thirteen.”
Her heart constricted, and against her will, her shoulders jerked once, twice. Tears poured down again, and she didn't even have the excuse of rain and the outdoors to conceal them. “I...wish to earn...my armour.”
She raised her arms, to show them the beskar-made bracers. “My father...only got this far...with what he had...”
Her breathing was clearly laboured, and impeded her speech somewhat.

Torin's Vheh'yaim (Prior to Battle of Norgal-dûr)
Not a trainee then, Torin thinks as he listens to Mandy, not without some difficulty he assumes is related to the life-support mask she wears, explain why she has come, or been brought for whatever reasons Clan Ordo thought that better than seeing to whatever has brought her to Norg Bral, to him and his clan. Frowning in sympathy when speaking of her verd'goten causes her to weep, Torin reaches across the table to place one of his hands over hers consolingly as he says gently in Mando'a, "Then earn you armor you shall, ad'ika."
Patting Mandy's hand after giving her a moment to collect herself, Torin purses his lips in thought as he ponders over the matter that has been presented to him and considers how best to proceed. As she speaks of her father in the past tense, Torin believes it safe to assume he is dead, and the way Mandy lost control of her emotions when speaking of him suggests that the death was a recent one given that Mandalorians typically take enough solace from the daily remembrance of those passed on that such outbursts are rare as time begins to heal the wounds left in the wake of loss. Whatever medical condition requires that Mandy wear the life-support mask is, given that she has passed her verd'goten, apparently not one that prevents her from joining in combat; though Torin suspects that her condition will impose some restrictions on how and for how long she is able to do so.
As he will need more information to decide how Mandy will earn her armor, and electing to ask his questions in such a way that simple answers are all that are required of her so that she need not tax herself as it appears speaking does based on what he has observed thus far, Torin asks, "What is your usual role in combat units? What are your primary skills" Once he knows what Mandy's typical function in fighting units is, and what her skills are, Torin can place her with the Mandalorian leading the unit best suited to incorporating Mandy into it so that she can earn her beskar'gam.

Despite his eagerness, he could see the wisdom in Torin's suggestion to try more covert entry means first. He'd not heard of the place before and so had little context for it. He took a swig of his Tihaar. Both would be good plans. What remains of our fleet will happily lend its aide as a reserve force. We've not done much work beyond the north-east corner, so we could provide a good cover for this ploy.

[ Mandy | Torin's vheh'yaim | Norg Bral | Mandalore ] Attn: Damocles Ordo [RETIRED] & Harini BralorMandy's eyes and head followed Torin's movements as he reached over to place his hand far more gently than she'd been anticipating over hers. Despite all that she'd been shown by Markas, all that Ascalon had revealed to her of Mandalorians, an aspect of her past remained, where she still expected to be beaten or punished for showing weakness such as sorrow, loss and regret. She did her best not to stiffen at the contact, just as she'd done with Ascalon. Still, her actions of reflexively trying to keep still and calm would be obvious.
Markas would be pleased that she was going to earn her beskar'gam.
She lifted bright blue eyes towards Torin when asked her about her role in combat and skills. Taking a laboured breath, she prepared to tell as quick a tale as possible. Though she could breathe, even with the mask it still felt like someone lit a fire within her chest.
“Father...sought battles, of any kind...droids, pirates, warlords...I met him, when he fought a rogue Imperial war droid...I was...a Jedi Padawan...lost my master.”
She slowly moved her left hand and withdrew the simple lightsaber hilt she kept on her belt by her thigh, and held it out for Torin, just as she had done with her father, “I aided Markas, and stole his kill...The droid released corrosive fumes...tore my lungs apart...irreparable damage. He raised me as his daughter...taught me about life...how to live. To defend the weak...I still...have the Force. I fight...from range, or up close. I know...how to heal.”
Would Torin treat her as Markas did? Would she be able to stand side-by-side with other warriors in battle?
