Nicademus exhales deeply on the matter of Cain. He remembered his mentor, Valstrol Horica, speaking of the madness that can be caused by the Dark Side. The Ren seemed free of that madness, but by the words of the High Admiral, Dracus might be slowly becoming a liability rather than an asset. For now though, the Imperial would simply have him watched and to keep an eye on his movements.
Thank you for your input and offer, High Admiral. We are at some important junctures and we can't let anything go wrong.
On the note of the various campaigns performed, Nicademus was pleased. Iridonia sat, alongside Bilbringi, as the southern most planets within the First Order. The presence of these two worlds firmly placed a strong Imperial presence within the Mid Rim and Inner Rim. As for Jabiim, the price was necessary to allow Imperial forces to be within striking distance of Mon Calamari. Only its distance from the main First Order territories concerned the Supreme Commander.
The campaigns of Jabiim and Iridonia were hardly major expenses compared to Dantooine though, High Admiral. Iridonia and Bilbringi now stand as good staging worlds for further Coreward expansion while Taris stands well to strike further east. Dantooine blunted us, but it has not halted our momentum.
On the matter of Taris.
I will deploy a full corp of my men to guard Taris then and deploy additional ships to bolster its security. It must be held if we are to further put press on the Jedi and their ill-advised Rebel Alliance. I will place you in full command of our naval forces over the planet and leave command of the ground forces to a cooperative commander, High Admiral. At least the First Order has reliable and capable commanders at its disposal, unlike the dying Galactic Empire I once ruled...

Savage inclined his head respectfully.
"Of course. For now, Taris is in good hands. My people are veterans of several major conflicts. They will hold the line in my stead. Though this status update was not the entire reason for my being here. My...sources indicate you are planning a venture coreward. Perhaps I could join you, if you'll have me? I've been itching to get away from this conflict, albeit, temporarily."
Savage locked eyes with the Supreme Commander and raised an eyebrow quizzically. Whether or not he could go along with the Supreme Commander and his entourage would remain to be seen, but what he had said about Taris being is good hands was nothing shy of the truth. Grand Admiral Bennette was one of his most trusted and loyal of allies. She would give everything and more to keep Taris under Imperial control.

Nicademus was hardly surprised that the High Admiral had caught wind of his planned venture coreward.
Your request is granted, High Admiral. It will be a small trip to the Core, but it may result in something even greater.
The Supreme Commander had been contemplating a military operation involving the Core. It was a rather important aim in the hopes of doing a great service for the First Order's future and securing further resources for coming campaigns. If successful, the Imperials would be in a position of power unlike any other. Not since the time of the Galactic Empire and the height of Imperial prestige. Once performed, Nicademus could begin furthering his personal plans.
Our destination... might possibly be Coruscant. I am still considering where I desire to go, but lately, my thoughts have been with the Galactic South. With the former core territories of the defunct Galactic Republic. An untouched wealth of industry and manpower. Wouldn't you agree, High Admiral? Lord Thrakk?
His eyes turn to Thrakk who had been silent for awhile.

Atlantia watched as the High Admiral entered the meeting room. The feeling between the Sith and Knights of Ren was a mutual hate of one another. Where the Jedi were far to devoted to the Light and their erroneous practices, the Sith gave themselves too freely to the Dark. Cain was a perfect example of Sith folly. But, so long as Nicademus placed his trust in the Sith, then the Knights would play nice. Atlantia knew, however, that it would only be a matter of time till the Sith, like the Imperial Knights, over played their hand. When that betrayal came, then the Ren would strike and remove the last corrupting influence. As the conversation between the High Admiral and the Supreme Commander went, Atlantia listened, making note of where the First Order had been victorious and where their troops were being moved now.
As mention of a trip into the core was mentioned, Atlantia set her gaze upon Nicademus. If he was curious about her intentions for being here, despite not having asked for her, then it would become abundantly clear to him in that moment. She would wait though, until both Savage and Valinor had left, before she would approach him about her inclusion in the party. There was much within the core that interested the Master of the Ren, and ensuring the Ren had access to it was a priority

Viox listened intently to the Supreme Commander. He was not wrong in his assessment of the coreworlds and the potentially untapped wealth of nearly everything the First Order needed to continue its war against the Alliance. As Nicademus posed the question, Savage nodded in agreement.
"Advancing towards the coreworlds would greatly benefit the First Order. Once our little adventure into the Core is complete, perhaps we can sit down and discuss expansion plans?"
Ignoring the Ren still in the room, he awaited the Commander's response to the question he had posed. Valinor still ever silent. Which suited Savage just fine. He had a low tolerance for dealing with anyone within the First Order, aside from Nicademus, though depending on the day, that in and of itself was a chore.

Depending upon our venture, it could begin immediately, Lord Savage.
It was rare that Nicademus ever called the High Admiral by his true title and surname. With these words, there was the serious of his intention and perhaps even a hint as to why he sought to venture coreward, but without the presence of a grand military among them. Even as they spoke, the Supreme Commander considered their intended destination, suspecting a few targets in mind for where they sought to go.
The Core awaits us nonetheless. It has been some years since I was in that region of space. A few worlds still hold the Imperial identity from the Galactic Empire I inherited and dissolved. Certainly some of them would be pleased to see the Supreme Commander of the First Order.

Again, Savage inclined his head respectfully at the mention of his Sith persona. Nicademus rarely used it when addressing him. Which was odd, however, Viox thought little of it for now. Perhaps he would dwell on it later, but now what not the time for such seemingly trivial matters. As the Supreme Commander mentioned returning to the Core, Savage thought to himself. He had actually never been to the Core. Ever. At least not that he could easily recall. Though, with the unnatural lifespan of his, a lot of his younger years were now nothing more than a blur. And given that he now had the essences of several dead Sith within his head, it was surprising that he could remember anything at all. No, the closest he had ever been to the Core worlds that he could readily recall was either Corellia, during an NOE invasion, or Kuat, when he had resurfaced after the fall of his father's regime. But that seemed like a life time ago. Returning his attention to the present, he spoke.
"I've never been, to be quite honest. Actually, being the High Admiral with the First Order has allowed me more freedoms than I previously had. Instead of being confined to one sector of space, I can come and go as I please through several. It's rather refreshing to have a change of scenery, wouldn't you agree, Commander?"
And now he hated himself just a little more. Not only was he playing nice with the Supreme Commander, he was now making small talk. It was infuriating. Inside, he was a boiling cauldron of rage. On the outside, his expression remained neutral and he portrayed no evidence that would suggest he was angry with himself and frustrated with the entire situation in general.

Lambri returned the salute, feeling somewhat elated that the debriefing had gone so... well? As she made her way back to the waiting shuttle, she dispatched comms to her #2 about the procurement of new vessels, and to inquire about repairs and casualties. By the time the shuttle had departed High Port, she had been fully brought up to speed. The Pulsar was as full operating efficiency, though there were several turbolaser batteries still offline, and the ventral shield generator had not be fully replaced. Three days. Terror wasn't far behind, though there were staffing issues and shortages of almost every kind for her repairs. Her return to active duty would be delayed by these issues, nearly two weeks. The Georgian was another story. She required dry-dock, and a partial refit and structural work. Three weeks easily. Lambri was gutted by the news, but unsurprised.
**later**
Her arrival back aboard the 'Pulsar' was met with procedures, paperwork, and many items that required her say-so and approval. By the time she had made it to her quarters, and gathered her gear, four hours had passed from the time she left the Supreme Commander. Leaving her orders with Kittridge -- a very capable command officer in his own right -- Evi made her way back to the 'Solace' and the skeleton crew aboard departed for High Port once more. Nearly five hours had passed when she stepped off the landing pad into the hangar at High Port, her small detachment of four commandos flanking her as she disembarked.

Indeed, I could use a change of scenery myself. The Supreme Commander rises from his spot, after receiving a report that the Anvilbreaker, a Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser, which had been chosen as the mode of transportation for the Coreward venture, was ready for departure. A detachment of four companies from the Braxant Phalanx Bridge had been added to the crew as well as at least one Imperial Knights and four Imperial Knight-Errants. A contingency had been left behind, naming Artemis Delvadrus as Regent Commander while Nicademus was away.
He calmly motions for Lord Thrakk, Lord Savage and Atlantia to follow him as they proceeded to depart for a shuttle down below in High Port's main hangar bay. It wouldn't be a long trip, but it would be a fruitful one. The Imperial still recalled his vision from Ilum that would hopefully bring someone of great value to the Imperial fleet. Something that would certainly secure the growing prominence of the First Order and ensure the destruction of their foes.

As the Supreme Commander and his entourage made their way to High Port's main hangar, Vlad landed his ship. As he rose from the controls, he looked over to Clank.
"Sorry buddy, you'll have to remain here for this trip. You've seen enough action for the time being."
Vlad spoke to the droid, referencing the recent excusion on Ossus. The droid, in turn, replied with a low, almost sad sounding whistle. Vlad smirked.
"No. You are staying. When the Sith are involved, things can escalate rather unexpectedly. You will be safer here."
And with that, Vlad departed the ship and made his way over to the main hangar. As he approached the group, he spotted an fellow Knight, as well as the Supreme Commander, another Sith and...his very own brother...well, this was going to be interesting, to say the very least. Vlad gathered his composure as best he could in preparation of dealing with his younger brother.

As the High Admiral followed the Supreme Commander, he noticed his older brother approaching. He stopped in his tracks and stiffend. Once his brother was in ear shot, he called out to the Supreme Commander.
"I must speak to my brother concerning...family issues. Brother...this way."
Once he and his brother were out of earshot, Savage rounded on his brother.
"You are fortunate the Supreme Commander summoned you, otherwise I may not be so coridal...the information from Ossus. You have it, correct?"
Being the High Admiral, Viox was privy to a great deal of knowledge and information. Including when the flagship of the Knights of Ren was off on an assignment over a Jedi/Alliance aligned world to steal valuable information. And with Vlad acting as his informant on the inside, he too, was going to have access to the information now. And this trip to the Core. Something wasn't right. Nicademus was being surprisingly close-lipped about it. And none of his sources were producing viable results. But, having been invited along, he was surely going to learn something new. All of these thoughts ran through his head as he waited for his brother to answer him.

It was interesting to see the difference in his younger brother's demeanor. The last time they met face to face, Viox could have easily crushed the life from him. Now he was playing 'nice'. Though Vlad used the term very loosely. Midly annoyed at being his brother's informant, he reached into the folds of his robe and pulled out a data-chip.
"A copy of the information taken on Ossus. I hope you find it useful, as we paid a price to attain it. Now, shall we proceed, brother?"
Vlad turned to leave, in the direction of where the Supreme Commander had been heading.

Viox grinned as his older brother procured the data-chip filled with information from the raid on Ossus. A trove of enemy secrets. Though, the First Order was also made privy to this information. In order to keep up appearances. Vlad couldn't jeopardize his position within the Ren simply to please the High Admiral. No, Viox was content with what his brother brought him. For now, at least. As his brother turned to leave, Savage clamped a hand on his brother's shoulder.
"Everything comes at a price, brother...our most recent interaction on Iridonia is a testament to that..."
Savage grinned as his brother scowled and shrugged off his younger brother's grip. As Vlad walked away, Viox looked down at the data-chip in his gloved hand. After staring at it for a few moments, he glanced back to his brother. It seemed as long as he didn't push his brother to hard, he would cooperate. Stowing the chip in a compartment on his belt, he smoothed out his uniform and marched across the hangar, catching up with his brother as well as the Supreme Commander...

Atlantia followed behind the group as Nicademus lead the way down to the waiting shuttle. She took a moment of pause as her newly dubbed brother approached the group. She looked to Bestellen as Viox asked the Supreme Commander for a moment with his brother concerning a family issue. It was more curious still when Bestellen complied with the High Admiral. She would perhaps need to have a word with her new brother, to remind him of who his family was now. When the pair returned, she walked beside Bestellen Brother... I hope you are ready for this. The Master has trusted us with this mission...
Some time earlier, in the conference room
Atlantia moved closer to the desk that Nicademus was seated at. With Thrakk and Viox out of the room, Atlantia could get down to the business that she was here for. While it might seem to some a pointless exercise to ensure the conversation was had in private, there was reason for it. Better that the Sith did not know that the Master of the Ren had interest in the core worlds I apologize for the secrecy Supreme Commander, but although you might trust the Sith, we do not. They have a rather untrustworthy past... But now that we have a chance to talk, I would like to request that Bestellen Ren and I be added to your trip...

The Supreme Commander nods in agreement with the request made.I shall permit it, Atlantia. The Knights of Ren will certainly find this trip most intriguing.

* Thrakk walks next to the Supreme Commander at his right side and just barely a step behind him. He hadn't spoken much, nor at all during the meeting but instead opted to listen to all the members of the First Order who had attended. He had not had much of a chance to work with many of these people before due to his particular job requirements, but now that he was to remain at the Supreme Commanders side knowledge would be his greatest power.
Now that the group had stopped before the Supreme Commander's shuttle, Thrakk waits for everyone to finish their last minute questions and concerns before speaking.*

An inconspicuous shuttle makes its approach to the station, on board Captain Franklin T. Shelby, and his First Officer Lieutenant Victor Karath debated the wisdom of leaving a newly established base only come on what was considered by several of the crew as a fool's errand.
"What makes you think these wannabes are going to have any room for us? You do know they aren't the same Empire we served all those years ago?"
"Your concern is noted old friend, but might I suggest not referring to the First Order as "wannabes" in their presence?"
Shelby flicked the switch to activate the shuttles comlink.
"This is shuttle LV-114 calling High Port control. We are requesting permission to dock."
"Look Vic, I know the First Order ain't the Empire. The Empire is as dead as it's Emperor and even that weren't the case my loyalties are to my ship and my crew. That said these people do have a lot money and a lot connections so lets just pop in right quick and see what kinda work we can score huh?"
"You're the boss, boss."
