The Jedi Lords were a new and foreign sect as far as her and her companions were concerned and thus their customs were unknown to the Pathfinders. Those that assumed the title of Lord or Lady, at least in her experience, typically adhered to very formal practices and expected you to know them. However, when the Countess provided a less formal greeting, Rhiannon raised her hand and waved back in return. Knowing that it was better to adapt and follow their lead than to stand on ceremony. She came to a stop with Leo and Sylina doing the same a couple feet behind as Abigail came over to greet them, enquiring as to how she might be of assistance to them. Leo and Sylina looked to one another, confused. Rhiannon spared a turn back to them, before returning her focus to the CountessI'm afraid you misunderstand our intent here... While we will certainly appreciate your offer of lodgings, we are not here to study this crystal, rather... We're here to return it to its rightful owner... She moved around to the side of the hover dolly. Placing one hand upon the Crystal whilst motioning Abigail over with her other handWe are Pathfinders fresh from Ambria, where the Dark Jedi Order were recently expelled. We were tasked with conducting a inspecting of the Temple there and returning anything that we found... When we conducted our search, we were aware of Countess Valhalla's fall and so sought to see if we might retrieve what had not been brought back. Instead, we found this... The crystal was a little larger than a person in size and encased within was the armour belonging to Aurora, which would be well in view for Abigail at this stageI am lead to believe she was a... Liege-Lady of yours? Forgive me, I am not quite familiar with how your Order addresses such matters... Abi approached the large crystal hesitantly. She was unsure of what was going on, yet could feel something familiar about the odd jewel even from a distance. But as she joined the Pathfinders, the Countess involuntarily let out a gasp, a hand covering her mouth as she looked down in both surprise and sorrow. What was this thing? How had her friends armor become encased? She staired for some moments before breaking her gaze from the suspended armor. Looking to the woman who had spoken to her. I- How did- What- Abi could not find the words, or perhaps too many questions were populating in her head at once. Her hand had moved down from her mouth and rested on her chest as she tried to calm herself down again, trying to remember her Jedi training to keep such powerful emotions in check. It was like Aurora had died all over again, to be confronted by this thing was like a new reminder of who she had lost. Her other hand reached out and rested upon the thing that encased her beloved companions protective garb, her eyes once more locked onto it. I don't understand...

There had been some expectation of an emotional response that would be elicited by the revelation, but Rhiannon had not quite expected anything quite so powerful. It was a brief moment, with the Countess managing to stem the flow quickly and impressively, but something that was unusual for the Pathfinders to experience. It was not that they viewed it as inherently evil, merely that the upbringing they'd received was just not quite the same. They'd not been faced with such scenarios and taught how to act within them, so Rhiannon did her best as she stood silently and a little awkwardly nearby, waiting until it seemed appropriate to speak again I'm sorry Ma'am... I don't quite understand what ever happened myself. You more than anyone can probably confirm her presence within the Force, but it shines brightly for us. It's like a star, brilliant and beautiful... A similar such aura radiates from yourself, though much more angelic... Sorry, pardon my digression. All we know, is that we found this fallen deep into the basement of the Dark Jedi's Temple, surrounded by Quarren Sorcerers who seemed quite interested in it. They had heard reports of a darkside cult within the Quarren Dominion that was rising out of Mon Calamari, but much of that had been speculation and isolated incidents. This could have been another such sighting, but it certainly seemed like something dark and nefarious was going on It seemed prudent to return this to the care of the Jedi, if for no other reason than the interest those darksiders seemed to be paying it... She paused a moment, studying Abigail's reaction and trying her best to figure out how to navigate the matter We thought you might be the most appropriate person to deliver this to for safe keeping, but if that is not the case...

Abigail thought about all the information that the Miraluka had brought her. It was all falling into place. The crystal around the armor must be a part of the ritual Abi and Aurora had undertaken to seal away a dread force. It had been several years ago, not long after the liberation of Siranno and the rise of the Jedi Lords. They had gone to investigate the rise of a Dark Side Cult centered on Dac. What they had found there was truly disturbing. Luckily they had the resources and to power to bind a great evil to prevent it from taking on a greater form, even if they could not fully contain it. These corrupted Quarren were no doubt sent by this thing to work some magic of their own to undo the binding, which was no doubt weakened since Aurora's death. Abi shook herself from her thoughts and looked back to the gathered Pathfinders. Thank you for bringing this here. Not just for me, but for a far greater cause... Please follow me, and bring the crystal with us. She lead the way deep into the Praxeum. Down into the lowest levels, were vaults of artifacts both benevolent and malevolent rested. And it was here that Abi intended to inture this last token of her dear friend. It would be safe here, as long as the Jedi Lords were here to defend it that is. The Countess also shared the tale with her new acquaintances as they went down below. Finishing as they locked the final door to one of these vaults. And for these reasons I hope I don't need to inform you why it is of great importance that you not spread this story beyond those who absolutely must know.

EndorAfter a few days, since the last meeting deep within the Eocho Mountains, the High Lord of Ossus contacted General Endor and invited him to the Council Chambers in the Jedi Praxeum, the one built by Luke's New Jedi Order. Even since their last meeting, Lucien knew what answer to give, but he still needed to make sure Ossus was going to be taken care of and watched after. Likely, a great talent of their ranks would be flocking soon enough to aid the New Rebel Alliance in their great endeavor to see Mon Calamari liberated after years of occupation by dark forces. Many of her natives, both Quarren and Mon Calamari refugees, wished to return home and see it restored to its former glory.
When Endor did arrive, he would find the Council Chambers unoccupied save for Lucien who was watching the courtyards below. There, young adherents were being trained daily in the ways of the Force, of the Warrior, and of the Light. Jedi Lords were more militant and defined as warriors, but they were still Jedi. A well-trained balancing was needed to ensure none fell to the Dark Side by being too warlike and bringing about violence through fear and enjoyment rather than using their swords to protect the innocent and liberate the oppressed. Principles that Everett Stone wanted all of their rank, present and future, to understand and be exemplary in.I imagine that you had little to no issue with speaking with the other Jedi Lords.Lucien remarks as he turns to General Endor for a moment before turning back to what he was viewing. We were conceived to be a force of liberation originally. So when we came to Ossus, and our roles changed and were augmented, you can imagine some of the confusion. I am grateful that I had their support nonetheless in seeing this place revived and become a home, once more, for the Jedi Order. The High Lord turns away, walking towards Endor now. What have you told the Mon Calamari refugees here of your goal, General Endor?

"I told them the truth, for starters." Said the Rebel General stoically, crossing two broad arms over the chest of the plain white tunic he was currently wearing, stained with engine grease just like his fingers after some last minute tinkering inside the Halcyon's mechanical guts. He was pretty sure Katja wouldn't appreciate him messing around with her ship, but pilot to pilot, he couldn't help his curiosity. By the grace of the Great Tree Spirit, he had been right as well, and it had totally been worth the peek. Either the Captain or her crew had bypassed a faulty compressor on the ignition line. Top notch work that would make even Headmaster Frantz proud. With his sleeves rolled up, the burly former woodsman's hairy arms were on full display, further adding to his somewhat savage aura. Like a hungry bear pacing inside a circus cage. "I think they've earned it after all they've suffered, and they have more stake in this than anyone. Besides..." He grimaced, clearly uncomfortably with what he was about to say. "...we're going to need them. Last time I checked, neither of us has gills, Lucy. I grew up surrounded by trees. Now I can swim as good as the next land lover, but we'll be fighting Quarren, among other unnatural horrors I'm sure. We need a comparable force of our own for those underwater situations." Already sensing Lucien's aversion to putting civilians in harms way, which frankly was how the Rebellion largely operated if he was honest, Endor held up a hand and motioned for the Jedi High Lord to hold those concerns for a moment. "We'll only take volunteers, of course."He stepped closer, close enough for Lucien to feel to heat radiating off his body. Like any responsible commander of men, he had his own concerns about the road to Mon Cala, but there was no denying that a part of him was eager for it. This was the reason the Force had called him back, he was certain of it. One last fight."Plenty of them want this just as badly as we do; they want to be there when we retake their home, and their presence will help remind the rest of us why we're doing this."

Of course, Endor understood the perspective of Lucien to protect citizens from harms way. The High Lord had become very conscious of citizen's needs and desires, wanting them to thrive, even if Ossus wasn't their home. All deserved a chance at a better, whether that was picking up tools or a blaster rifle. The Jedi turned now to face Endor as he approached, continuing with what he needed to be said about what was to happen and come. The ultimate Liberation of Mon Calamari, seemed the steps towards a brighter future always involved this world and her people.
Doubt you'd have any issues with volunteers. They'd likely come up, upon seeing your officers, and request to join without another thought.
Plenty had already left Ossus for Hoth and wherever the New Rebel Alliance presence was suspected and known. His own starfighters had found a base on Hoth and there were likely others, as well as fleet-based commands, that dotted across the galaxy. Drumming up support, gathering supplies and materials, and ensuring people knew that someone was around, ready to fight for their freedoms and liberties.
I spoke with my commanders and officers. There was not even one voice that dissented, General Endor.
All were ready to fight, all were ready to make a difference.
When those promised to your fight leave this planet, they will have their High Lord leading and commanding them.
Once more, Lucien would don his armor and lead troops and ships into the jaws of battle.

A big fat grin split Endor's weather wizened features right down the middle. "I knew you'd come around, Lucy! Never doubted you for a minute." Barked the General, slapping his knee enthusiastically, then reigned in his comportment a bit as he cleared his throat with a cough. "What I mean to say is, thank you, High Lord Malvern. Trust me when I say that this is going to make all the difference in the world." Resting his hands on his hips, the Rebel leader looked around the room for his horn headed furry companion, finding him mysteriously absent. Which probably meant that mischievous snowok was off somewhere in the Praxeum making trouble. "Where's Redclaw?" Boomed the former forest druid's voice. "This calls for a celebratory drink. We brought a cask of Ewok Moonshine with us straight from my home village. It's made from fermented blumfruit and the blood of stormtroopers..." It wasn't. That second ingredient was most likely hops. He shrugged dismissively. "Eh, no matter. We'll save it for when we've given the people of Mon Cala their planet back. Ha!"
Sticking a hand down his pants and rummaging around for a minute, the bushy bearded freedom fighter retrieved a folded up map from some internal compartment, which hopefully hadn't been his underpants. It wasn't. Endor didn't wear any. Unfolding the piece of paper, the General spread the map over the rooms holographic projector, completely blocking the luminous three dimensional star map of the galaxy with the two-dimensional representation printed on the parchment. It was clearly well used, as the edges were frayed and there were a number of stim-caf stains that could easily be mistook for planets or star systems. Brushing away crumbs that had collected on its surface, Endor indicated Ossus.
"The Adega and Felucia systems are about equal distance from Dac, either will serve as a place to muster our forces once we're ready to make our move." His finger drifted from Ossus' position over to the Calamari system. "Tarfang and I were able to infiltrate the orbital shipyard facilities using StealthXs last time we were there. Our exit made quite a bit of noise, so I doubt it will be that easy to sneak in again. Scouting the system before the attack might not be possible, but its not all bad. The combined naval forces of the NRA and Jedi Lords are not insubstantial, plus we'll be receiving further aid from the Five Worlds, the Corellian Jedi Academy, and even a few strays we picked up from Felucia. These darkside cultists will be hard pressed to deny our approach, but they've also had plenty of time to entrench their position as well." He scowled. "It's going to be hard fight. There's no way around it, but, I believe if we can cut the head off these squids leadership, this kraken will crumble. I've been assembling a Jedi strike team for just that job."

How strange for there to be a folded map instead of a hologram of what Endor spoke about. But, given his background, the General was... eccentric at best. He came from a different background, a planet without technology, and raised by a primitive folk that took down AT-STs, speeder bikes, and Stormtroopers at the end of the Battle of Endor. To him, this was how things were done. Nonetheless, Lucien listened attentively before speaking once Endor had spoken.
They may even be anticipating their enemies going after the heads of their leadership.
Such an organization had many tendrils that were felt even as far as Ossus. The High Lord had listened and seen the transmission from Lianna when the so-called Dominion, as Mike Frantz had identified them on Dressel, came forth and took the world. Likely as a staging point. However, recent reports indicated that all their power was now focused on Mon Calamari. Something had changed and thus forth this retreat of their power to better focus it.
We will blast them as best we can though. Mon Calamari has been liberated before, time and time again.
Yet this was the odd foe. The one that they knew very little about and likely contained mundane and monstrosities for weapons, soldiers, and ships.
I will see about accessing our aquatic droids. Count Aderon Dooku left many caches that we inherited from his tenure. I recall seeing the models in storage some time ago, but I hope we have enough to make a different beneath the waves. Least, we risk losing many to the depths from whatever may lurk.

"Droids, eh?" Said the boisterous unofficial ambassador of the Forest Moon, running his fingers through the wiry fibres of his bark brown beard, which was often mistaken for red. Both bushy brows raised as he visibly contemplated that information. It wasn't that he had anything against droids, not really. He worked alongside one regularly enough, though R6 was more like a part of his family. He trusted him enough to let the little guy work on his new C-type E-wing that Graemon had just sent over for his personal use, since his X-wing was still a pile of scrap on Dantooine. Battle droids were a different story. They were designed to destroy, to kill, whatever was required by their programming. Artificial beings, machines, made to snuff out life. They were anathema to his deeply held personal beliefs. It was the reason he hadn't hesitated to take the Orion-class Battlecruiser that Lucien had leant him and rammed it down the throat of the flagship of his own misbegotten clone. Really, the situation before them wasn't so different. These squids, he'd got a sense of them when he and Tarfang raided the shipyards. They were evil right down to the core of their being. He could square using lifeless murder machines to combat them. He nodded. "Okay, it's good to have options. Plus the more firepower we can throw at these inky tentacled bastards, the better. Absent an opportunity to surprise them, I'll settle for making them scared."
Endor bared his teeth in a bearish grin. "Still, I'd gladly trade them for the Gungan Grand Army, but we'll make due. I've scraped by with a lot less. This would be easier if we knew who was leading the cultists, but as it stands we'll have to improvise on the fly." He snorted, then sneered somewhat villainously, hosting a mad glint in his eye. "That's where we Rebels are at our best. With a bit of luck the evil pontiff in charge will show themselves and we can bring this to a swift end. The last thing we want is to get bogged down in a protracted siege. Its bad enough on worlds with solid ground under your feet, but its worse on the ones covered in water. Plenty of crevices to hide in down there." While not quite claustrophobic, the idea of descending to those dark lightless depths while surrounded on all sides by a few thousand tons of water pressure sat uneasily with him. He'd like to avoid it if given the chance. "Even without knowing what their fleet or defenses look like, I think it is a safe bet the shipyard encircling the planet will be the largest obstacle in our path. If we take control of it early enough, we might be able to put those facilities to use repairing and rearming our own ships. Besides, we have to take that yard or we'll be stuck watching our backs during the entire liberation effort."

All knew of the fortress status that was the Mon Calamari shipyards. It had endured invasions from the Galactic Empire, the Yuuzhan Vong, and even the Sith under Darth Krayt. Its weapon systems were fierce and the shipyard itself was a labyrinth to navigate. It would require the units to be briefed and understand the schematics of the shipyard's layout. The High Lord sighs visibly as he scratching his chin, thinking about the shipyards.
We will likely lose great casualties... the fiercest fighting will surely be the shipyards.
Depending on the damage to the shipyards would ensure how well they could rearm and repair their own vessels for orbital operations. Not to mention there was no intel on their enemy's own naval forces. The Jedi Lords of Ossus were committing a lot to the fight, everything that had been built up since their unification under Everett Stone, his predecessor. Nonetheless, the High Lord was committed to the effort and would see the watery world liberated.
I must ask, General Endor, what are the plans for Mon Calamari afterward?
Was the New Rebel Alliance seeking a better base? A new ally? The foundation of a new democratic government to succeed the Corellian Coalition and the Second Galactic Alliance? Lucien wanted to hear what his plans were for the system and sector once it was liberated.
