Overlooking the frontline from her own Starbird-Class Battleship, the Valkyrie, Chume'da Li'nara Trasc was staring coldly at the armada of Imperial Star Destroyers and the massive front ship, that was spearheading the attack. Prior to the beginning of the siege the Hapan Home Fleet was patrolling the sector in order to encourage worlds of the Coalition and reminding them of the strengths of their allies outside the Colonies. With a flock of Battle Dragons and Nova Cruisers following the small armada, the Valkyrie was an escort to one of the larger Starhawk-Class Battleships, that were funded by the Hapans. Thanks to prior efforts, where the Hapans were able to develop with the MC-C Atlas-Class Battlecruiser a conjoined project for the Corellian Coalition in work with the Mon Calamari engineers of Dac, the Endymion alongside the few smaller Starbird-Class ships were gifted towards the Hapan homeworld as part of the exchange. While yet experimental, the Endymion was outfitted with a tractor beam weapon, capable of weaponizing smaller starships. Yet when the Home Fleet was about to leave the Fondor system, the attack had begun, leaving the Hapans in a dire situation. A princess like Trasc knew that this would be a test of strength against the foe, that was threatening not only their world, but the entirety of the galaxy as well.
More than fond she watched from the bridge as the experimental weapon of the nearby Endymion did it's work on the Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer, designated as Steelfist. While even minor, the damages done did their part at least to stop the already overwhelming might of invaders. Looking towards the rest of the Home Fleet on a status monitor she could see that the Hapan supporters did their best to bring in all firepower they had on both the giant Executor-Dreadnaught in the middle of the battlefield as well as it's flanking ships, that approached the sector like titan fortresses. Batteries of turbolasers rotated without a pause, as their fire damaged the imperial shields as best as they could, while their own starfighters would take part within the battle. Even from here she could see with nervousness that the Miy'til Starfighters of the Hapan Navy did despite their overwhelming hardly any good against the much more modernized standard fighters of the First Order, yet they weren't alone within this battle. Squadrons of T-85 X-Wings with the markings of the Hapan Navy flew by in flight groups of four starfighters, mastering the sheer ammount of dog fights far better, while escorting the Miy'til assault bomber squadrons towards their designated targets.
As another Raider-corvette was blasted away by the gunners of the Valkyrie, the Hapan princess was already determined to assign the next larger target, that the fleet would tackle on, when suddenly a message from the Endymion was transmitted. ::My princess, Admiral Gates has ordered most of the starfighter forces to the left flank. Sensors are picking up high energy levels from the planet's orbital borders.:: Li'nara's eyes widened as she prayed that she just misheard what the captain had told her. However she knew that an order was in the end an order. "Understood captain! The Home Fleet will support the engagement. Order all our starfighters to retreat and follow the Endymion's lead." ::As you wish, your highness!:: Walking atop the deck, the princess watched as the bridge window revealed the open gap that wasn't covered by most imperial ships... for now. With the Starhawk taking already it's course, the smaller Starbird followed up, while a majority of Coalition starfighters were already rushing towards the location to where Gates had ordered them. Luckily there was no Death Star or anything comparable in size yet to be seen. It neither changed though the bad feeling, that the princess had all of a sudden about the situation though.(brief info: This takes place before the formation of the IRI to avoid confusion, given current political movements on Hapes and Lin'ara being affiliated with them)

Lynne stood on the bridge of Endless Salvation watching the blue swirl of hyperspace flying past. Her knuckles were white as she leaned upon the central holomap projector and dreaded what waited for them at Fondor. But those thoughts suddenly became reality as the fleet lurched and exited hyperspace early. The fleet was far to the stage right of the battle. It was currently disorganized as the various ships attempted to get their baring's and into position as fast as possible.=Lynne=What happened?! She shouted looking to the bridge crew who were still attempting to get all systems righted. Just then the blue image of Motier appeared in front of her. =Montier=We were aiming to come out of hyperspace near the orbital defenses, but it seems the Imperial have brought an Interdictor or some kind. I recommend you keep the medical ships back for a quick retreat while I lead our warships to aid in the defense.=Lynne=No. We are going in. There are Coalition forces out there that need us now. I won't sit back here in safety while those good folks sacrifice everything to save this democracy! =Montier=Understood. All captains, form a perimiter around the medical ships! Gorgano will be taking point. Shield of Salvation and Dac's Revenge, guard the flanks with support from Life, Liberty, and Equality. Corran and Horn will be the rearguard. Coronas and CR90 Corvettes disperse yourselves though the fleet and screen for enemy fighters. Fighter squadrons, you know your rolls, cover those bombers and medical ships. All ships forward! The fleet moved forward, protecting the medical ships as it approached the Imperial left flank, but the Coalition's right. The aim was to join the formation and get the medical ships to a central position where they could reach the most casualties.

The Lancer's were spread out around the Resurgent II and the pair of Onager's, providing the gunners vast sweeping windows with which to fire out across on any starfighters that directed their attention toward the fleet. For the most part, the TIE/IN Interceptors and the TIE/fo Space Superiority Fighters were kept in close to the three larger capital ships, their primary assignment was to take care of anything that got through the initial screen of Lancers.
The space certainly lit up rapidly as the Coalition fighters swarmed toward the Onager's, the quad-laser cannons of the Lancers opening up. Those that got through were quickly intercepted for the most part by the squadrons in waiting. The few that survived all that and managed to break through did make their runs on the pair of Onager's, but the shields on the Siege Breakers were more than up to the task of absorbing the damage dealt them.
Command Stations were busy getting starfighter groups moved to close up the net. Harnan noted the Hapan Fleet and the arrival of what he was pretty sure was the Coalitions Medical Fleet. All the better for them to have more witnesses to the might of the First Order Weapon Charge reporting at 100%, Onager's firing now... Harnan shifted his focus from the holo table to outside the viewport as the red energy pulses of the Onager's lanced out across the void and fired upon the closest of the Golan defence platforms

As the move was performed, a new report came in to Admiral Gates.
=Admiral Gates= What?! The 1st Medical Escort Fleet has entered Fondor Space?!
Damn the stubbornness of that woman! No wonder Baron Gorgano and Lady Jameroo were a match made in the stars. Gates wasn't happy about this at all. The fleet under Doctor Jameroo's command was more suited for aiding the wounded and injured, not being in the middle of a blasted invasion! The Fondorian Human raises his hand as another explosion, closer this time, went off, seeing a fresh Tapani carrier go up in flames and smoldering metal.
=Admiral Gates= Relay a message to Medical Escort Fleet, tell them to get out of here! It's not worth the risk!
As the officer went off to relay the message, the Admiral steadied himself as fresh turbolasers slammed against the shields of his vessel. The Ackbar certainly buckled from the weight of this attack. Things were too chaotic to focus on one thing or many in fact. Across the bridge, officers relayed new orders and shouted out reports. From the sounds of the reports, though the Home Fleet was aiding the maneuver, things weren't going too well for the Coalition's Starfighter Corps. The move had been bold, but it would only delay what was to come.
Then the stars around them lit up as large red energy pulses flashed out from the Imperial Fleet and zoomed across. One of the pulses shredded through a trio of smaller vessels before the last two impacted their stationary target. One broke the shields of the Golan platform, the second punched a hole straight through, causing it to detonate from within. With one of the platforms gone, Admiral Gates gritted his teeth.
=Admiral Gates= We don't have much time... send a communication to the Shipwright Council and Valerian Gorgano. Begin the evacuation of all essential personnel. Order the civilians into defensive bunkers and prepare the surface for a ground assault.
Grabbing a comlink, the Admiral's voice resonated across allied channels.
=Admiral Gates= This is the flagship, Ackbar, to all Coalition and Allied vessels. I won't hate you if any try to run now and save yourselves... it is sometimes best to live to fight another day as many a great leader and strategist have said. But if you want to stay and fight... THEN FIGHT! Keep the pressure hard on these Imperials so that we can give Fondor a chance to prepare itself!
Turning off the channel, Gates barked the orders to fire everything. If they wanted to bring hell to Fondor, then the Coalition would bite right back!

As systems charged up and the impact of the siegebreakers was fully bringing down one of the two Golan-II plattforms, reactions on the bridge of the Ars Moriendi varied. From silent shock up to joyful smiles, as the overall victory seemed to be in plain sight, the emotions varied, yet noone dared to break the silence. Even in the middle of gunfire, Jenia felt that other ship crews felt probably the same, as she saw the station explode with the remaining husks falling as debris slowly into the atmosphere of the planet. Once more the Empire stroke fear into the hearts of their enemies and the time was now to take full controll of it.
Comm links were opened once more, as Jenia directed her second message towards Fondor and the Corellian Coalition.
:: People of Fondor, you are now witnesses to our second warning. We have offered your Coalition overlords the chance for a swift surrender with no bloodshed, that had been answered with resistance. But resistance within the light of the First Order is futile.
Again we ask the Coalition to lay down their weapons and to surrender towards the one true Galactic Empire. You have seen our capabilities, yet should be aware that our patience has limits. Surrender now and we there will be mercy. We will bring those to court, that have conspired against the First Order and it's Emperor, but shall spare those, that only followed orders or were uninvolved. Resist and we shall repeat our little demonstration once more. And again. And again.
Ten minutes is all we give you for a formal answer. Otherwise the bombardement shall continiue until Fondor has been truely liberated from the Emperor's enemies.::
The official message ended and the bridge officers closed the channels, once more utilizing the various intern communication channels of the Imperial fleet. "Shield levels at 76%, Grand Admiral, weapon systems on 85%, engine power stable", one of the officers informed Kasalle after some time, as she prepared herself for another transmission, "While our attack on the Golan II was impressive, we are currently still the main focus of fire for surrounding capital ships. Forgive me to say this, but as mighty as the Ars Moriendi is we are still not invincible." Her icy gaze met the eyes of the officer, making him swiftly salute as he sweated. "Critique accepted, Lieutenant", she told him solely, "Reduce engine power and rerout energy towards the shields and ensure that engineer teams fix the more critical spots on sections A, B, E and G. I understand your concerns, but so far the Ars Moriendi has played it's role as a distraction quite well. With one of the Golan's gone the rest of the fleet will take care of the problems, even if the Coalition continiues their pointless resistance." "Understood, madame!"
Again the Grand Admiral turned to the console, activating the comlink once more. Adressing this time the rest of the fleet, that was not on the Reaper's channel. ::Kasalle to fleet, order to move closer into planetary orbit range is granted. Assault shuttles and drop pods have now the approval of the Admirality to get launched for the ground invasion. I repeat: Assault shuttles and drop pods have now the approval of the Admirality to get launched for the ground invasion. Kasalle over.::
----------
Despite having taking quite some beating, hundreds of turrets were still capable of returning fire upon the enemy aboard the Ars Moriendi, even after the Grand Admiral's previous order to reroute energy. Like a dormant space station the Executor-class Star Dreadnaught rested at the centerpoint of the battle, with both the Steelfist and the Holocron catching up on the left flank, as the arrow formation began to scatter up. To their right side the Pax Imperialis and the Falagar began to intercept the various ships, that would take the previously open right flank of the Broken Arrow for a seemingly safe passage out of the battle. Starfighters of all kinds were now swarming the area, as some tried to make their way over towards the two siege breakers, that were guarded by Ren's Reaper and the accompanying ships of his escort fleet, their rear getting shielded from the Conservator-Class Star Destroyer Charybdis, whose gravity well outside the planetary border of the system ensured, that nothing from outside could immidiately flank the two Onager-class vessels from behind.
Overall the battle was in the favor of the Imperials and what already seemed at the beginning of the battle as a hopeless stand off against a massive fleet, spearheaded by a Super Star Destroyer, was now turning into a second Endor. Yet with the slight difference, that the Imperials didn't need a Death Star this time and had still all their cards on their hands. One way or another the Emperor had won. Now it only mattered how overwhelming the victory would be and how high the toll of deaths would become in the wake of imperial tides.

Something of a hush fell over the medical fleet as they witnessed the Onagers fired and the Golan platform vaporize. Captain-of-the-Line Montier was one of the few commanding officers to notice and reply to the message sent from the Admiral.
=Montier= Understood, inform the Admiral I'll make sure the medical ships get out of here. He cues up the channel back to the Endless Salvation before saying. Lynne. The Admiral has given us an order to withdraw ourselves. There aren't going to be many survivors for you to save. You saw what that Onager did to the orbital platform! You will only get yourself killed.
=Lynne= Lynne shook herself from her shock. How dare the admiral and especially Montier tell her to turn tail and run. She felt her anger boil over as she shouted back at the blue holoimage of the man commanding the escort fleet. I will not run from this fight! I will die if I have to in order to save as many lives as possible!
=Montier= He didn't flinch as the woman yelled at him through the comms. The man simply sighed, he had figured this day may come and had prepared for it. With all due respect ma'am you are a greater symbol for Free Galaxy alive than as a martyr. He looked down and keyed in a signal from his control panel and one of the bridge guards onboard the Endless Salvation drew his blaster and set it for stun.
=Lynne= And what are you going to do abo- The doctor was cut off as the blue pulse of a stunning blaster hit her square in the back. She slumped forward before starting to fall back and being caught by Major Tethras.
=Merrill= Thank you, Captain. I'll get her to her quarters.
=Montier= See that she is comfortable and gets to her husband, they will be our best chance for fighting back against the First Order. I will cover the Medical ships withdraw and do what I can here. With that orders were given and before it was too late the Medical ships broke formation and were joined by 3 Bothan frigates as escort. The rest of the fleet pushed onward. The Captain knew the chances of winning were non-existent, but some fights had to be fought and for him this was one, he'd buy as much time as he could for the civilians of the planet to evacuate or hunker down as he could. His ships, without the medical portion of the fleet to worry about, loosened formation to avoid giving the Imperials any value shots that could damage multiple ships at once as they moved closer to the Coalition formation, or what was left of it.

Fiora had maintained her vigil within her meditation, keeping her focused watch upon her area of the battle. Despite the ripple within the Force caused by the destruction of the space station, Fiora let it wash over and through her. She had sensed the arrival of the Medical Fleet and kept her attention upon it. It had been a little too far out for her to try impress upon them a need and desire to escape and turn back. But the loss of the Golan had taken care of such a need. So instead she shifted her focus upon anyone with weapons trained upon the retreating ships and directed their focus to military craft actively engaged in battle. Even if they had not been a medical fleet, she could have done the same for any unarmed vessels that were retreating. She wasn't going to allow the First Order to act as the evil Empires of old would have

Once more, the call to surrender was made. The Imperial might was without rival. It had been many many years since one felt the terrible and awe-inspiring power of a revived Imperial nation. Not since the days of the Dark Tide, the Neo-Sith Empire, and similar entities that were able to mount up such strength. The First Order was all too real of a power to witness. Admiral Gates turned to gaze at what remained of the Golan defense platform. Their fleet was in shambles and a ground assault was likely imminent upon Fondor. To surrender was nothing short of taking a pistol and committing suicide. The Old Republic went with a whisper, the New Republic went down, guns blazing, and the Galactic Alliance endured, time and again. They were none of these democratic nations, but they were still defenders of freedom and liberty.
The crew looked at the aged Admiral who grabbed his comlink. If he got out of this alive, Braganti would personally apologize to both Valerian and Graemon for losing their homeworld. Yet if they didn't make a show here, then other worlds wouldn't fight back. They would believe that it wasn't worth to fight. He'd make this a fight, a fight to very last ounce of strength.
=Admiral Gates= This is Admiral Braganti Gates to all Coalition and Allied vessels. Never before had we faced such an powerful enemy. Mon Calamari witnessed this might before when the Second Galactic Alliance died. But we aren't going to go down with a whisper nor with hands raised. We will fight on! We will make these Imperials remember us for our tenacity!
Gates then points directly at the Imperial fleet before them.
=Admiral Gates= I won't blame any ship that will seek to run instead of staying, but those who remain, fight hard! Fight for freedom! Fight for liberty! For independence, for all that we treasure as a democratic nation! If we don't set the example here, then others won't fight on. And I will not let down the Coalition!
Setting down the comlink, Admiral Gates relay new orders. All ships were to open up their turrets and fire at will!

"Your highness, we are in fire range!" The Hapan officer standing next to the Chume'da only looked stern, as the Hapan fleet adapted towards what has happened. Though pale in her face in light of the blazing station behind them, Li'nara was looking from the bridge window towards the vast emptiness of space, where Star Destroyers began to close in on the Hapan fleet, as their ships continiued their stance of covering the flanks of the Coalition's ships admidst the mass of approaching Imperials.
"Open fire on all batteries. Protect the Endymion at any prize!" Turbolaser fire, heading from the Hapan's very own fleet intensified upon the approaching Imperial II-class vessel and the more massive Resurgent I-class Star Destroyer, was filling the space between them and the enemy. At first their own ships seemed to hold against the tide, given that the range advantage was clearly on the Hapan's side for the initial moments. Then however few of the heavy shots from the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer hit the Valkyrie, causing Li'nara to briefly fall as the bridge was shaken. Officers aboard began to panic, while two of the guardsmen immidiately ran towards the Hapan Princess, helping her up. It was the first major battle of Hapes' heiress against the First Order and it was suddenly at this moment, when she was eyeing the giant shape of the ship in front of her, from which swarms of white wings suddenly began to leave, that she felt actual fear.
She knew that their enemy outnumbered them vastly and another salve now hit the larger Starhawk Endymion, just in sight range next to them. The flagship of the Hapan fleet in support of the Coalition. Trasc wasn't a woman, that was easily scared or someone who would consider a tactical retreat as cowardice. But seeing, as even the larger ship could hardly withstand the firepower of the Imperials, as parts of it's broadside exploded upon the impacts, made her already fear the worst. The Chume'da wasn't used to situations like these. Women and men were serving on these ships, that just stood their ground against the overmight of incoming starfighters and bombers, she knew some of the pilots that were out there in their X-Wings and other fighters, that the Hapan Navy carried into battle. Something felt terrible at this very moment since the station had been blown up by the Imperials. The Princess knew that they had to reach the Siegebreakers and take these out, but even by their current speed at the outer edges of the battlefield, it was already demoralizing enough to see that more and more Imperial ships were closing in.
"Your Highness, shields are at 57%, malfunction at one of the reactors. Engineer teams are on the case. We lost three Nova-Class battle cruisers and one of the Battle Dragons. Imperials are closing in now with more starfighters." "What about the flagship?" "Shields at minimum, but still ready to carry out their task. Hapes shield shall still stand. Some of our allies though are routing and attempt to escape from the system." There was brief hesitation within the officer's voice as if he wanted to add a question, yet didn't dare to speak it out loudly. Stressed, Li'nara took place within her command seat, only nodding towards them. Not yet. Her mind had to remain focus, for the sake of her homeworld and this bloody Coalition. "Continiue onwards", she stated cold, "Hapes shall endure, no matter the sacrifices!"

With their primary attack made, the crews of The Siege Breakers got to work cooling the firing systems and beginning the next charge cycle. Fondor would yet provide a fight for the First Order to break, but the Onager's would shatter even the strongest defences of the Coalition and bring their enemies to heel. The Lancer's kept their tight formations, holding off wave after wave of starfighter strafing runs against the trio of Capital ships that made up the contingent of Scourge Squadron present over Fondor. Their shields took a battering but their multitudes of laser cannons continued to spew forth laser fire to overwhelm the starfighters.
With the Grand Admirals forces now beginning their landing operations upon the surface of Fondor, Harnan turned the Reaper's Ion Cannons upon the remaining Golan station. Admiral Smith oversaw the move intended to overwhelm the Golan's shields and bring down the weapon systems as Harnan headed for the hangar bays. Purge Troopers were already loading up into AAL Landers as the Master of the Ren moved across the Bay and loaded up into the front most AAL.
He opened his thoughts further to Fiora, letting her know he was about to take off. Something that was important as the AAL's launched from the Reaper and made their way across the void toward the remaining Golan III. Fiora's meditation was focused then upon turning any approaching pilots from firing upon the transports and allowing Harnan safe passage.
The Assault Landers were soon punching through the atmospheric lock shields of the Golan Hangar Bays, their landing gears crunching upon the metal plates of the floor. The sustained Ion fire was starting to beat away at the shielding and take out various systems. In that moment, one shot caused a short in the hangar bay lighting as the AAL ramps slammed down and the Purge Troopers started to spill forth from their ships. Harnan held his shield in front of his body and activated the surging red blade of his Lightsaber Pike.
Some took one look at the armour clad giant and fled, while others held fast and fired upon Harnan and the Purge Troopers Fools...

As the battle went on and Coalition ships began to head into the direction of the Siegebreakers, fighter squadrons began to engage with the enemies' starfighters in close combat. Although the First Order's TIE fighters were an improvement over the regular TIE fighters of the Galactic Empire already, various duels between the smaller starships dragged on, as X-Wings of the newer generation and the TIEs of the First Order met in battle. Squadrons of all kind bursted over the left flank, as the first Raider corvettes came in to support the hunt upon the sprung trap. With most of the Coalition's fleet in disarray, Banshee Squadron began to join the hunt, with their main target being in straight line of sight.
::Alright squad! Let's give this thing a blast!:: With Caldwell's words making clear that he wanted the target to be eliminated, a volley of concussion missiles rained down upon the bridge of the Starhawk Endymion, which was taking most of the fire incoming from the two Star Destroyers that were falling into their flank. While the first salvo was repelled by the shields of the experimental ship in front of them, the following impacts seemed to have hit some targets behind the shield, as small holes had been punched in sections near the bridge. Another incoming volley of laser fire from the Steelfist flew past by the stealthed squadron, who flew closer onto their target, the heavier impacts now breaching some of the weakened areas within the system of the Starhawk. Caldwell's TIE/vn just crossed past overhead the tower structures of the enemy ship, as he focused his attention upon two unsuspecting X-Wings, that didn't saw him on the radar, when the open side of the Endymion was bursting into flames. Another ship of the Coalition sinking. Both the two X-Wings went down like flies, as once again the invisible squadron split up into smaller flights of starfighters. Now that their flagship was breached, the Hapan allies of the Coalition would have a harder time at maintaining their stance. Already the Captain spotted several larger ships on the backlines changing their course, as they rather wanted to get into a direction away from the Siegebreakers and out of this battle. The attempted counteroffensive crumbled, before it even began. Thus the TIE Silencers continiued with the chase, getting behind some of the agile Miy'til Starfighters. Hardly a match for the Empire's ace pilots, but certainly something Caldwell began to quite enjoy. After all a real battle had much more thrill than just the usual simulations.
----------
Seeing as the first starfighters were already incoming, the Charybdis' point defense cannons began to meet the enemy resistance with fierce opposition. Minor damages onto the shield were the first incoming reports for Commodore Thorne, yet nothing to necessarily worry about. So far only a small number of fighters had been launched from the Conservator-Class Star Destroyer as it maintained it's duty to shield the Siegebreaker's backlines. While there were slight concerns about the Reaper having left earlier their position between them and the Onager-Class Star Destroyers, that had marked the downfall of the first Golan station, the Commodore twirled his walrus mustache calmly as he oversaw the battlefield in front of them. It seemed as if some of the Coalition ships were coming his way as well, yet routed at the verge of swinging-in Star Destroyers that had moved from the right flank's backlines onto the previously open left flank in order of giving them the illusion of a safe gap between them and the Star Destroyer artillery that had been brought into position for a clear aim onto the stations.
Now Fondor truely was laying at their mercy. Another wide call from the Ars Moriendi echoed through open channels on both the Imperial side and on the side of the Coalition for those, who had not shut down these transmissions from the First Order's flagship.
::Citizens of Fondor and those that follow the Coalition's orders. The Imperial High Command would remind that five minutes have passed until we will repeat our demonstration once more. You may see us as monsters, a cruel gouvernment that won't spare you, if you do not submit to the one and only rightful Emperor. Monsters though do not give you the chance to reconsider your stance. We do not bring fear, but stability, peace and judgement to those, that accept our truth. Embrace it, surrender and you shall be spared and judged upon a fair trial, should you have committed acts of terrorism yourself. Ignore it, closing your eyes before it and we shall repeat this lesson until only those shall remain, that can accept the gratitude of the grandest Empire in the galaxy's existence. Four minutes are remaining. Last warning.::

Even though the Imperials requested surrender once more, their request went without any word back. As some ships began to peel off and jump for hyperspace, fleeing from the violence, others fought on. Admiral Briganti knew he needed to fight as long as he could to allow those who needed to escape to do so. His flagship shook under the weight of another salvo from Imperial warships. A few consoles went off, causing a handful of crewmen to fly or be shocked. The old commander waves his hand, pointing directly at Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser was a part of the recent salvo fired.
=Admiral Gates= Batteries, open fire!
The order was relayed as the turrets turned and fired back, ripping apart its shielding before exploding into debris. Once more, the Admiral pointed at a Victory III-class Star Destroyer, one of the newer models of the Imperial Navy. Shots were traded in broadside action as the two passed. His vessel shook under the pressure, but they did damage right back. His second-in-command, a Lieutenant Calsifer, came up to him, handing him a datapad.
=Lieutenant Calsifer= Admiral, the fleet is taking heavy losses. A handful have fled, but the fleet is severely damaged. And we have gotten word that Imperial forces are penetrated into the core of the Coalition... the Corellian Sector is under siege.
No reinforcements at that point, thought Gates, as a new salvo rumbled against the Ackbar. A crewmen reported the status of the fleet as one of their Nova-class Battle Cruisers went up in a smoldering wreckage of fire and twisted metal. The Coalition forces were truly faltering. He knew his superior would want them to live and fight another day though. Admiral Gates exhales, slamming his fist on the console.
=Admiral Gates= Open a channel with the Hapans Royal Fleet. Then another with our subordinates in the Coalition Navy.
To the first, a message was sent:
To his Coalition commanders, a similar message was sent, stating they'd cover the withdrawal of the Hapans Royal Navy, then jump for Malastare. This fight was over and the Imperial Navy stood between them and the core territories of the Coalition. The only they could do is see their allies withdraw in an orderly fashion before they too retreated. Fondor was lost... and the Coalition with it soon.

Hardly any words were spoken by Li'nara as Gates' orders were given out and brief silence befell the bridge of the Valkyrie. The Endymion... gone, Hapan pride blasted apart. There were concerned faces among the women of the Royal fleet's officers, as they waited for any objecting order from the heiress of Hapes, yet nothing was said. Her face was frozen in sorrow, when the next officer in command finally gave the order to comply with the Admiral's orders. On the monitor allied ships turned, as the holographic displays flickered due to the slight interferences of enemy ships within the Coalition's sensors and communication devices. Away from the Siegebreakers, their way out of this battlefield.
Pursued by the First Order's TIE fighters, the Hapan fleet would lose further ships within the chase, as the retreat of the Chume'da was covered, slowing down the advances of any Empire followers, that seeked to undermine the attempts of the Coalition to flee from this system. Like poison the cold voice of Li'nara echoed through the room, only the sound of the red alert in the background being a monotonous reminder of the battle outside. "Chume'da?", one of the high-ranked officers tried to interject questioning, but her bravery was cut short by Trasc's further confirmation of her order. "Tell the fleet that we will return to our homeworld.", she repeated once more, leaving no doubts about her demand, "Fondor is lost, but so will be the rest of the Coalition territories. Noone can stand against this madness. Hapes' security is now our main priority." "Shall we transmit the Admirality your decision?" Li'nara's eyes grew narrow at the mention of Gates and his last orders. "Just cut the channels. They know as well as we do that each system is now on their own. The Queen Mother's safety and the defense of Hapes is now all that matters." "As you command!"
With their last remnants finally reaching the border of Fondor's orbit from where they were able to flee into hyperspace, away from any enemy interdiction ships that could block the passage, the Hapan Home Fleet and those that were loyal towards Hapes' course made the jump, fleeing from the battle. Yet unlike other Coalition ships, their final destination would be a different one...
