*As she fell into a more comfortable rhythm, she took note of the attack that seemed different than usual. Without thinking, she deflected the blow, her mind also identifying the briefest of openings. Similarly as though on reflex, despite her doubts, she took the strike.*

Not kept waiting if she would take the bait, Eruestan soon felt the sting of his padawans blade. It was on low power, but it was still an uncomfortable sensation to be hit.
Very good! Now, then perhaps an opponent closer to your skill level?
Calling the data pad to his hand with the Force, the Knight activated an ASP-19 training droid. He was sure to set it to a skill level only slightly higher than where he judged Maggy's skill to be. Pausing for a moment to allow his padawan to get ready, or ask any questions before they began this phase of the training.

*She struck him. She had struck him! Momentarily surprise came over her but she quickly reeled it in; a lapse like that on the battlefield could cost her her life.
However, it seemed Master Duskhand preferred seeing her fight with an opponent closer to her skill level before activating a training droid. Maggy only nodded and adjusted her stance to face the droid, taking up a defensive position before nodding her readiness to her Master.*

Listan to the Force, and you will be victorious.
With those words of wisdom he activated the droid. It activated it's own low power saber and came charging at Maggy. Eruestan had set it to be more aggressive for this first bout of combat. He was hoping that this would give him a better understanding of where she needed improvement.

*Maggy quietly held her weapon at the ready, waiting for the attack to begin. When the droid launched its assault, she focused only on defense at first, making sure not a single attack made it through, arms and feet moving in tandem to meet each blow. Throughout it all, she tried to study its motions and patterns, knowing it wouldn't become fatigued as an organic being would. But machines were also predictable...*

Her instinct was right. The droid had varied sequences that it would us, but they were just that, programmed sequences. After a little bit of observation, Maggy would no doubt find the patterns and find a number of openings that she could take to strike the droid. Though it was moving fast, and if she hesitated in one of those strikes, she would be punished for it.

*Despite the seemingly-overwhelming assault, Maggy did her best to analyze the attack patterns and, sure enough, there seemed to be a pattern after all. Striking would be a matter of timing and weathering the storm, but eventually, when she felt she had the proper opening, she thrust her saber into the perceived opening, piercing its defenses.*

Her hit was good, and Eruestan was pleased to see she could read the patterns of her opponent. Once her saber made contact with the droid, it registered the hit as good and powered down.
Good, you have the makings of a skilled fighter. But I think that's enough saber training for now. Let us sit and meditate for a while.
Eruestan sat down on one of the mats and closed his eyes. Reaching out into the Force. Being keenly aware of his Padawan and her emotions.

*Another success. As the droid powered down, Maggy couldn't hold back a sigh of relief that she'd been able to, so far, leave a good impression on her new Master. At his invitation, she powered down her weapon and also took a seat on the nearest mat, folding her legs and closing her eyes; this doubled as a bit of rest for her as well.*

Opening his eyes suddenly and losing concentration on his meditation, Eruestan instinctively reached for his saber. His eyes turned sky word.
Maggy... Stay close with me. Do you feel it?
The darkness closing on the planet was almost unbearable. Saber hilt in hand he stood and offered a hand to his padawan. This would be more of a test than he wanted to see her through, but his duty was to protect the base and its occupants. He just hoped Maggy would be ready.

Maroth waited for a reply from the Epicanthix youngling, but received none. Perhaps he had caused a great deal of though in the young alien that could potentially save his life. Or maybe he was scared. Whatever the case, Maroth needed to find a group of people to help him discover what was occurring with his powers so he quickly brushed past the youngling and made his way back into the Archives.

Crash!!
The doorway of the Training/Sparring Area was blasted forth by the lingering energy and the two forms of the Jedi as they were thrown into the Jedi Base and into this particular room. Seconds later, Malvus landed at the entryway with Luxeria. The Sith glanced at the blasted doorway, seeing that the Jedi had come through here and more than likely landed. The Sith Lord nods to Luxeria before stepping into the room. The Sith noticed the Jedi were already standing from the landing from the impact of the Force exerted.
Seems the Krayt Dragon did not remain rooted... tsk tsk, and here I thought I shouldn't corner one as you said, Jedi.

Luxeria was right at her master's heels, stepping up beside him as they stopped at the entrance to what seemed to be a training area. She smirked, her stance sideways as if in a relaxed Makashi stance. Her face emitted amusement as she wondered how much it hurt to be sent flying through the doors of the room. Catching Malvus's nod, she looked back to him for a moment, following him inside shortly after.
Moving off to the side, she gave herself a few feet of separation, ready to jump into the fight without being in his way or he in hers. Her gaze fell upon the Jedi apprentice, her head tilting and smirk remaining as she lightly shook her head. She already knew that her master would fight the experienced Jedi while she tended to the underling. Master vs master, apprentice vs apprentice, yet she couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed. She had just took down a number of Jedi Brutes before fighting three head on and now she was left with an apprentice who seemed to be barely into her training. A challenge not worthy of her skills.
At the same time, however, she was thankful for it. The previous battle had took its toll on her Force reserves. Her physical strength was still there and she could still use average abilities with the Force, but best not to push it in case she needed them for something much more serious. Besides, she could try her hand at tempting and eroding the spirit of the young girl and see what she could do with only words. A fun thought, indeed.

*Maggy's mind had instantly shut out the words of the female Sith who attempted to speak to her; no darksider's words had any meaning to her, not after what they had done to her life. The only words that mattered to her were Master Duskhand's continued reassurance and guidance, words she knew to be the truth.
But then came the Sith's response to her Master's challenge, Maggy already bracing herself. Then they were thrown rather far backwards, all the way into the training area... harmlessly, seeing as they never had front doors, therefore there were no doors to be thrown through. Thankfully, Maggy managed to reorient herself in midair and land on her feet, sliding backwards to a stop and once more coming to a ready position beside her Master. That... was admittedly a powerful throw, but other than being a little taken aback, Maggy felt just fine.
She still preferred to follow Master Duskhand's lead, however...*

Eruestan Duskhand felt the blast assault him. Though he could possibly have struggled and remained put, the knight knew that it would drain him needlessly. So he aloud himself to be swept off his feet and hurled into another room. Thank the Force for the open concept of the base because doors would have hurt. He landed on his feet and glanced at his apprintice to ensure she too had come through unhindered. Soon the pair of Sith arrived.
It is rigidness that makes one brittle and break at the first gust of hot air that blows their way.
As much as he would want to protect his padawan and take both combatants at once, he knew this Sith Master was too powerful for that. Though he worried for his padawan's safety, this was the time to trust in her now more than ever. His golden blade was brought back up and ready.

Malvus could see that the Jedi Master intended to fight him. For Eruestan's eyes did not dart between Master and Apprentice, but stayed trained upon the Sith Lord himself. This ensured that Luxeria could fight someone herself. Once more, the Sith ignited his lightsabers in a brilliant twirl of crimson plasma. He stands tall, his arms stretched outward, carrying one lightsaber each. A true test for his apprentice had finally come. Before, she had fought heretics, apostates, spirits, and lesser Jedi. Now she was to face a true Jedi's apprentice.
Make the Jedi be filled regret for trusting the lesser, Luxeria.
That was all that needed to be said before Malvus lunged at Eruestan. The deep seeded anger within him being drawn from the bowels of his very being as the Sith drew upon the dark energy within him. Surrounded by the Dark Side, the Jen'ari made his move against the Jedi Master.

Luxeria only nodded at her master's words, her gaze never once leaving the padawan. When Malvus rushed Eruestan, she stayed behind. She felt this battle required a different approach. If she was right and the girl was as young as she suspected, it might have been possible to sway her, or, at the very least, shake her resolve and hinder her growth for a time. Only time would tell.
Letting herself first relax, she then let her presence shift, switching to her seductive persona. In this, her presence stopped being a strong dominating energy and became calm and smooth, her naturally occurring hypnosis ability beginning to resonate with the change. Luxeria had yet to notice its existence, but it had been present since before she had ever learned of her connection to the Force. It was how, coupled with her looks, she was able to sway so many. It made her like a siren, drawing in her prey before taking what she wanted from them.
Letting her lightsaber sway back and forth in her grip, she began to walk over to her right, curving around to put Maggy between her and the masters. The last thing she wanted to do was get in her master's way. Eruestan would undoubtedly hesitate and work to save his apprentice if she got caught up in their fight while her master wouldn't, injuring, if not killing Luxeria in attempt to kill the Jedi. Possibly regrettable to him, but a Sith wasn't about to let a prey escape.
Everything about her oozed seduction and temptation, the way she stood, the way she walked, right down to the way she gazed at another and her voice. The dark seductive tone slipped through her lips as she finally spoke. "Do you really think you're ready for this, child? Is it really worth your life to stand before the storm that can easily overpower you? You must see it: the Jedi are sending you to your death by having you protect this place. We are not bandits, troublemakers, or simple criminals. We are the Sith. We are death. This is your last chance. Run and hide and you will be spared." Luxeria tilted her head as a soft, yet dark smile came to her lips. "None will think any less of you for it. After all, it is natural to think of one's own life first. Survival is an instinct that surpasses all else. Isn't your life, your existence worth more than these walls and these philosophies?"

*She was right: Maggy really didn't know if she ready for this... That was, actually standing toe-to-toe with an older, clearly more experienced Sith apprentice. The latter was at least a young adult; depending on her skill, that age difference was easily the gap between Padawan and Knight.
However, Maggy was ready to defend her home, without question. She slowly pivoted, staring down the Sith past the green glow of her weapon, held before her in a defensive position. Her resolve had been determined two years ago, when she watched the Knights of Ren destroy her home. When she fled. When she learned they had poisoned her own mother and father's minds against the Jedi, against her very way of life. The dark side held no sway over her...
And she would sooner die defending her home than give the darkness a millimeter of a foothold over her.*
"Ugh, is that all you do is talk?" *she mumbled, mostly to herself. It was clear from her stance and her intense gaze that running was not an option. Her odds... she didn't like them. But she stood strong for her pride, her people, and her home. Even so, there were tales of gifted Padawans who could hold their own against even the most dangerous opponents for a time; one such Padawan even existed among them today.
She just hoped she could say the same...*

Luxeria's soft smile turned to a smirk as she gave a bit of a giggle. "What was that? I couldn't hear you over the mumbling." Despite the lack of resolve behind her words and tone, Luxeria could see it in the apprentice's stance and eyes. Clearly, eroding the girl's spirit would be difficult. But she was about to give up on breaking Maggy's spirit. Time would be all she'd need. And if the spirit couldn't be broken, she'd have to settle for the young girl's body.
Moving at a swift walk, Luxeria approached the girl, hand still holding her saber in a lighter grip. It was necessary to make full use of her Makashi form when not utilizing a curved gripped hilt. Reaching the padawan, Luxeria brought her right hand straight up in front of her, working to make a slash straight up the girl's middle before letting it fall to her right side and making a swipe first from right to left, then left to right in the same attack line, holding her saber out to her right when she was done. Her movements were defined by her chosen combat form: quick and fluid. If Maggy had the right focus to distinguish the difference in an attack's strength, she would have picked up on the lack of real strength behind Luxeria's strikes, which held some insight to those who could read a battle as it progressed.

In a contrast to Malvus the Jedi was an oasis of calm and peace. He could not hear the banter between his padawan and the sith apprentice but could sense the struggle. As effortless as he was attempting to make it appear, this Siths assult would prevent him from intervening with out exposing himself to a killing blow.
