So now she was alone. Well not totaly, there was an unconscious woman in the room. Kent did the math with the amount of of sedatives the woman had been given. It would be hours before they wore off, she wasn't going to be of much conversation. Kent was used to being alone, but this time it hit her how really alone she was. She had been plucked from her life on a backwater planet. Sure things weren't perfect there but he had carved out a good thing. Now, because of a feeling. No, no! it was more than that. A drive inside her she grouped up with an interesting group of characters. One a jedi or sith with some kind of multiple personality issue that had come close to killing her once already. A woman that brought all hell in on them. Who the others were convinced was dead. So there was great distrust. Another woman... Kent really had no idea what her story was, but she was hurt or something. She obviously had way more pressing things than a scared lonely girl. Then there were the last two. One was a very sophisticated droid. Kent was actually blown away by her. Her personality went way past programming, it seemed sentient. Kent had never seen anything like her. That was great except she seemed to despise Kent, and resent everything about her. And there was Na'an. She didn't seem to want much do do with Kent past getting her to Felucia. There she would dump Kent off on some new person and be on her way. This feeling had better be something worth while Kent. Now you are not just alone by people that have know idea who you are, but by those that really aren't interested in you. This is why you think things through. You are smart, your head is what gets you to safety. It keeps you alive, not feelings no matter how strong. Well you are here, and you are alone and unwanted, and face it miserable. You might as well make another share in it.
Kent walks up to the cockpit and sits down next to the droid. So it looks like you are going to get your wish. Bet that makes you happy? If you can feel emotions.

Sounds fair enough. Maybe I am just supposed to go with you to Falucia. Maybe there i will find a real teacher.
That came out harsher than she meant it, but that was Kent's reaction to rejection. She knew deep down she was supposed to be with Na'an and by default the droid that thought she was nothing. Being honest with her self she knew it made no sense, and she even wished it wasn't the case. In the end she knew what was supposed to happen. Now she was worried about something else. What is Na'an wouldn't take her and that's what the woman was prepping her for. What if Leigh at some point Kent missed had convinced her to drop Kent off at the enclave and bolt. She mutters to herself Good job Kent, as if you weren't worried about enough. She picks up her voice quick before Na'an can ask what she had said. We should be jumping to Hyperspace within the next minute or two. Where do you want me for that?

Kent holds the gauze to the wound. Oh I can tell, but it also doesn't seem like I have much of a choice. The smart thing for me to have done this entire time would have been to go to another safe house in the refugee sector. And continue living life out there. That was the smart thing to do and the one with the best odds of survival. But thats not what I knew I was supposed to do. I was supposed to follow you to the bar, and I did. Later when all hell broke lose, I should have ran. I would have been safe and really you would have had as much success as you did with me. That was the smart thing to do, the action that made the most sense. But i knew for some reason i wasnt supposed to do that. I was supposed to stick with you. And when we ran i should have bailed. But again, i knew it was not what I supposed to do. Now here, i know the smart thing is to say I want some great Jedi master to train me. But i know and I think you do too, that is not what is supposed to happen. And I have to ask, why are you calling me Rabbit?

No... No we didn't... Do you remember where we left off? It was an innocent enough question but there was a hint of a challenge in it. She couldn't help it. But first you should give her a stronger dose of the sedative. I pulled enough for you. She is a little bigger.

That's what I am here for, I guess. The last part she said under her breath. She pulled the sedative pen out of her pocket. This may help with that. See i do think things through.

The eye stunned her, but just for a second. Today she had seen worse more surprising things. But it did still give her a moments pause. Really? Yes i can do it. She said nothing more and went right too it. She booked it to the secure door and hit the code. Then ran to the med bay. She grabbed what she was asked, and a sedative, just in case. Here. Tell me some of that is for you, you don't look good.

"Kent, I said I needed you, where the frack did you GO." Read more: boards.jedivsith.com/thread/179/open-orbit?page=3#ixzz3oJNfeTeGThat was all that was needed to snap the girl back. Showing weakness like that in front of people would get a girl killed or worse in the Refugee Sector. Kent went running, as she brushes the tears from her face. The cocky facade was back, she wore it like armor. Even when she was scared; especially when she was scared.I thought I could be of use in the cockpit, I know this kind of ship. But I am here now. What do you need?

It doesn't take Kent long to realize that she is of no use here. The big droid is handling everything. SHe hides her embarasement at trying to take control. She gets up. I shouldn't be here. She tells the droid as she leaves the cockpit. She thinks the door closes behind her. She gets a few yards away and drops to the floor leaning up agaisnt the buckhead. All the time spent alone had taken its toll on the girl though she would never admit it. Really she had already trusted her new companions more than anyone she could ever remember. Socially was the only area she had never thrived and if she was honest with herself she always knew she was just getting by. The best coping mechanism she had was talking to herself. Here alone she fell right back into it Kent, what have you gotten yourself into girl. Its not just the cockpit you don't belong it is this entire situation. You are out of your element, you are out of everything. Well at least that big droid cant see you now. She doesn't like you, and you don't need to be a genius to tell that. Now you are on the way across the galaxy, because someone said you could be a Jedi or something. What have you done..
She had gotten good at keeping the kid in her hidden. But here, thinking she was alone she let it out and she began to cry. Not sobs but tears were coming now, and she wasn't sure when they would stop.

Kent was new to the Force but she could tell something was wrong with Na'an. Se was in no shape to do much more of anything beyond putting on a brave face. Kent ran into the cockpit of the old freighter. She had never flown a Hawk series herself but she had read every manual they made for them, and heard hundreds of conversations about them from spacers over the years, she new this kind of ship. So Felucia is where we are going? *Her mind went to the charts she had seen and she plotted the jump points.* Got it. Sit back, turn off whatever the heck it is you are using, rest and let me handle this. And don't even think about asking if I can fly this, I can handle this. This is the first thing that has happened tonight that I am sure I can handle. This was not just bravado or her trying to feel useful. Kent could do this. Even if trouble showed up, which Kent was expecting. The huts were too well connected to not know where they were the second after the money hit the bay manager's hand. Kent could do this. If trouble shows up, it is not like you are going to be much good anyway. She starts hitting commands from the copilot's seat, Na'an could stop her if she wanted but for the moment the girl was acting.

So are we leaving, or am i going without you all. I know you all have power, but those are a lot of big guns about to arrive here and they don't care who they kill. She had a cocky brave kid tone and face but deep down she was terrified. What had she gotten herself into? The people where so much more than she was ready for.

1 minute 20 seconds before the big time guns and armor shows up! Whatever we are going to do it has to be now! If he agrees he can follow!
She looks at Cao, untrusting. There is still a part of her that is terrified of him, but the light part of her is winning out.
Honestly I would prefer he stays. That is just me though.

The pain was first. Kent had no experience with anyone who could project themselves in the Force much less someone skilled or cursed with it, she was unprepared and unprotected. She hit the ground in agony when the shards entered Elly's face. Kent felt them all, and she clawed at her face to make it stop, but there was nothing there AHHHHHHHH! SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! She cries it in anguish. It was made all the worse as her mind couldn't put together what was happening to her. She was about to tear into her own face doing real harm when the pain was replaced with darkness. What.... What is happening. Hate, anger, vengeance filled her head. She knew it wasn't her own but it filled her head non the less.
She was torn. Most of her wanted to curl up in a ball and wait for it to go away, but something stopped her. A part of her that seamed to glow in the presence of the darkness. The Darker it got, deep inside her the brighter the point got. Before she knew what she was doing she began to fill the room with a peaceful presence, one focused with blinding and beating back the dark.[/span]

Kent runs over to the hulking droid. She tries to help her get on her feet, for a second before realizing that wasn't going to work. Ok you big hulk! Get up and get it into gear. We are out of time. GET UP! Kent yells with all she has.
Security begins to spill out of the wrecked casino, they begin to set up a large black box and tri-pod Oh Sith Spit! EVERYBODY OUT NOW!!!!! The terror gripping her kicking in her Force powers right before the E-web comes to life. She reaches a hand out to the collapsed and rebooting droid and with a bust of energy hurls Leigh into the bar. A split second Kent is behind her as the big automated weapon tears into the place she had just been. Security had been given orders to end this, and their bosses didn't rightly care who was in the right and who was in the wrong. The E web tears through the scene indiscriminately. Diving Kent makes it to the relative safety of the bar as the searing bolts hit right behind. Close enough to melt her shoes. Well frack!

The single exlposion spins Kent back around the wall. Between that and the flash, Kent couldn't see what happened to the droid. Still unsure how this thought talking worked, Kent decided it was better to yell and think her response to Na'an Just the garbage hauler blowing up! I think Liegh did it. i have no idea what happened to her. There should be a second explosion... now. As if at her command the flames and heat form the fuel tank explosion cracked the dense trash containment cell. The methane and other rotting gasses ignite in a seconday explosion, not as powerful as the first, but the dense durasteel of the cell made for deadly shrapnel. A larger piece crashes through a casino front door. That will speed up the time table. 30 before armed security, 2 min 15 seconds for the heavy stuff. We need out of here! NOW!

Kent sees the falling lightsaber. Still behind cover she runs and dives to catch it. With gymnast's grace she turns the dive into a front roll. She comes up with the weapon ready. She was no jedi, but she did have some experience with light weapons, she had the idea if she could give the appearance of another Jedi in this fight the aggressors just might back off. She searched for the activation stud, but couldn't find it. Fine then, she hung the weapon on her belt and picked up the bulky blaster rifle again. Liegh! if you are going to blow that thing do it, time is fading fast!

Kent sees the truck she brought down earlier, now being used for cover by the assailants. She catches on to Liegh's plan in an instant. She starts talking to herself. That is a T2CF hauler, fuel line goes right over the radiator in the front, behind the right repulsor and connects to the tank 1 meater from the rear on the left side...She yells to the droid Three high power shots 33 centimeters from the ground and 1 meter from the rear. It will have the best effect!
She slides back into cover and checks her chrono. This fight started 7 min ago, average security response time in this sector was 10 min. This was about to get bad for everyone. The huts protect their money makers and the casinos here made them a lot. Security would be here in force with bigger guns then anyone here had, and they were unlikely to be to choosy on targets. Blowing up a small bar would be of no concern as long as it brought order. She yells out as loud as she can willing all to hear her. We have three minuets before security joins this fight! When that happens we are all dead. We have to wrap this up fast!

Kent darted off and took cover in a alleyway. She could see the rifles training on Na'an's friend. Kent knew she didn't have a shot, nor the skill with this weapon to hit any of them, but some covering distraction shots might help. She went prone just inside the wall, it would keep her protected from the return fire. The teenager took aim right under the blaster rifles and fired as many shots as she could. Some struck the building spraying shards of molten duracreet into the faces of the sharpshooters, other hit the building to low to do anything or sailed over their heads. Kent then rolls back to safety behind the building.

There was so much going on. So much information to take in. That was one of the curses of her mind. Kent couldn't limit what she took it. The conversation between the droid, or was it cyborg things were making her change her initial assumption, and woman with the hair. Then there was the fight, and more players looked to be joining the fray. Kent now had a blaster rifle, a much bigger weapon than she was used to, but she should have no problem getting off one accurate shot at a time if she was pone and took her time. She would have to make them count. Na'an had gone inside to engage the fight in there. This slicer had to have something good. Every detail of all these situations filled her head.
She started to focus on what the slicer could possibly have, but had to stop herself, that wasn't pertinent at the moment. Next she went to the droid and women. The fight was more pressing, but she knew what Leigh could bring to a firefight, and the woman didn't seem to be a liability either. Hey queens of emotional drama and baggage! She yelled to them. I think there will be time to continue this therapy session when the place we are all at is not under attack! Hash it out when the shooting and fire stops! Either they would or continue to risk there lives to fight it out now, either way Kent had done what she could. Now to limit the players. Kent checked the crono on a bright sign in front of a casino. 2135... perfect. The big Ithorian style casino always had a repulsar truck pick up trash this time of night and it should be. Yes hear it was coming above them back, full of refuse. Kent calculated the geometry of the fall and the shot of a full garbage repulsar truck. She, laid down prone and took aim with the rifle, and fired a shot right into the repusar coils. The truck came down hard between most of the new comers and the bar. Putting tons of durasteel and machine between them. That should keep the numbers a little more even, I would think? She says to her self as she rubs her shoulder from the rifle recoil.

Kent smiles and laughs at the man. Don't worry, neither of us want to hurt you. I don't know about him, but i am just along for the ride at this point. I know what you do cause its written all over you, that and you are obviously on the run from someone. The drink is fine, well nasty I think, but safe. Why don't you explain whats going on and we can see if we can help? Or do you think a little 15 year old girl is the head of some massive criminal enterprise? She chucks again, and take a bight of the now cold food. Oddly she liked it this way. Probably form years of getting used to cold meals.
Kent's mind was filled with the request. Like earlier, but this time more pointed. It was from Na'an. that much she knew. Stay here. This man will keep you as safe as anyone else. Plus, I think he is related to your friend that brought you in. There are enough familiar lines to indicate close family. Securing her baster where she could get it fast, Kent jogs out to Na'an, gracefully dodging the hulking droid. What is it? She should be mad about Na'an getting into her head, but Kent wasn't. Na'an was in trouble, and Kent needed to help. Agh!! why was Kent so drawn to this woman, it didn't make sense. There was however no denying that she was connected and drawn to her.

Kent sizes up this new guy. She notices his skin first, very light pigment, he doesn't spend much time outside. His eyes squint with the candle light of the place, he has trouble with natural light. His bloody hands actually look looked quite strong, despite the rest of him being rather frail. Works inside, in front of an artificial light source, and uses his hands and fingers a lot. Hacker! He was clearly in trouble, not with the woman that brought him in here. His fear wasn't directed at her, and he got more afraid when Na'an dragged her outside. So someone else who hadn't made an appearance yet. So... Who did you hack? And are they or the people that hired you the ones that kicked your ass? She looks over at Cao and feels the need to justify the question. What? I cant get all the answers.
