The battle went on for what seemed to be an eternity- the screeching of metal, coupled with the percussion of blaster fire, the hum of electro-staffs, and explosions was all that could be heard. Most things were muffled by the grip of blood lust and violence, yet it was apparent that the two parties were at comfort in this haze of chaos. This was an orchestra of the dark side. War, death and destruction - all of these things cast the asteroid prison into an perceptive homage to it's origins. Fire met metal, metal met flesh, and bodies fell on both sides before a sudden silence filled the landing bay.
The droids and turrets fell in succession as they were overwhelmed by the enemy forces. Even with their programming, the droids were tools in comparison to an military with a leader at its forefront. As such, the droids were defeated, and the two 'intruders' found themselves at a stand still - everything forward depended upon the decision made at this precipice, as strangers walked the fine line between friend and foe.
All the while, as though feeding on the chaos, blood and death, the ominous, yet ambiguous presence grew ever more prominent. Waves of nausea would beset those unaccustomed to the raw force of the dark side - they would be subject to fits of seizures and hallucinations. Even those who knew the dark side well could feel the addling of psyches, as ancient spells were activated. What ever was locked in this prison clearly had more than outdated droids protecting it. This spoke volumes to an adept force user - a harder lock to crack usually meant a greater treasure within.
Then came whispering of the child like voice began echoing in the minds once more, accompanied by a gradually intensifying ringing noise akin to the sound one hears after standing too close to an explosion.
Five...Six... Demon of the Sith...Seven...Eight...Don't open the gate...
An uneasy sensation would draw most eyes to the doors previously guarded by the droids before the engagement began. What was beyond them? Surely there were more droids, but there was something more sinister that could be sensed. Something unnatural.

The peace was broken - something seemed to stir within the structure as the call of action rose. The sound of grinding metal and ominous silence was broken by the arrival of the Dominion troops. As they touched down, the IG-100s in the Hangar Bay took attention.Assessing New Arrival...Entity Unknown Assessing Security Clearance...Failed New Arrival fails clearance check...Defense systems engaged. Assume hostile... Activate code name: " fearg duine a tharraingt ort féin Ard Ri Dubh" [Incur the wrath of the High King Dubh] While active and alert, they were older models, and programmed specifically to defend as opposed to attack. As the Dominion forces approached, should they assess the area, they would note an infamous insignia painted onto the platform. The Óglaigh na Iarndóideanna, or Warriors of the Iron Fist had been absent for many years in the galaxy, yet any that knew history would know that finding one of their facilities tucked away in a treacherous place such as the Maw was far from a good thing. Danger Close!!This changed upon the Dominion's active hostility, which engaged the IF programming code. The droids, (A total of 12 initially, though now 10 upon the 2 units that were felled by a barrage of blaster fire) split into two groups. Separating in a sudden flurry of movement, going from a defensive barrier between the gates which held the Lord of Chaos, becoming a two pronged strike force. Now, in the form of Alpha and Bravo team, Alpha team advanced with electrostaffs- slowly closing the gap between the opposing forces- while Bravo Squadron retreated, producing their RPS-6s.
As Alpha Team pushed forward against the attacking forces, a whirling could be heard from the ceiling. Initially easily mistaken for the droid units, four auto turrets lowered from their concealment points. Three of the turrets unleashed a volley towards the shuttles, while the fourth (closer to the center) took aim at the primary point of hostile contact, aiming towards the "Deep Ones". As the turrets deployed, Bravo Team, unleashed an arc of RPGs, targeted towards the encroaching Aqua Droids. This sudden shift was potentially jarring to forces that were unfamiliar with those who came before. While he was bound in a prison of eternal torture, the Warriors of the Iron Fist did their best to program their droids with the tactics of the Dark Lord, who was a notorious strategist on the battle field.
At this point, the invaders had to contend with six separate points of contact. The four turrets, which threatened their escape route, as well as their beasts wrought from Sith Alchemy, as well as the two 5 unit teams of IG-100s, one of whom advanced, while the other provided cover fire via their grenade launchers.
All the while, the force sensitives felt a looming presence growing, and a soft whisper in their ears - delicate, akin to a child in a song-like melody..."1...2...He's coming for you...3...4...The Dark Lord."

For the first time in years, the guardians were stirred from their long slumber. The flickering lights of the ocular scanners had an eerie effect on the facility, as the strobing of blue and red filled the halls with an abnormal hue, before they settled. The facility did have an internal landing bay which came equipped with basic security features, including laser turrets for those who were unwelcome.
Upon the rusting landing platforms, the clanking echoes of droids could be heard, as the sentries (Modified IG-100 Magna Guards with enhanced counter-lightsaber combat protocols) of the hanger bay formed, blocking the primary blast door that lead into the facility. Apart from the grinding of metal from the older droids, the entire complex was completely silent.
To those who felt the force, they felt an odd allure, beckoning them to venture further into the facility. While the Dark Lord was bound by sorcery and metal, his subconscious could still be felt. There was an ancient, palpable darkness that could be felt within the facility - one that Jedi would sense as a threat, but Sith would sense as a challenge.
To those who did not feel the force, they were instead greeted by nausea and an impending sense of doom. This place housed something that their mind had a difficulty grasping, which triggered a primal sense of dread.
The facility was now active, detecting both vessels in the immediate proximity. The silence was broken, as a klaxon reverberated through the walls and halls. The IG-100s stood at attention, with their electro-staffs active and ready.

There was no silence here - though it felt no less empty.
The pull of the surrounding wormholes created a subconscious sound of roaring, though the abyss never uttered a whisper- even so, the mind felt the pull of the deeper abyss in this area.
Here was where he was imprisoned - tucked in the darkest corner of the Maw, where none would dare look for him.
- Ages before -
It was a circular room, with high walls surrounding a shallow pit. In the pit stood a man clasped and chained. He had ashen hair, though his face is hard to discern as the individual is looking at his feet. Suddenly a bell rings a low and ominous tone, soon it became clear that what surrounded the pit was not walls, but a series of obsidian podiums. There were seven, to be exact, while only three were manned. One podium stood taller than the rest were of equal height.
At the tallest podium was a muscular man with wild brown hair and a beard to match- the intensity in his eyes was nearly palpable. He spoke first, in a loud, booming voice, accompanied with a heavy albeit obscure accent.
" Malakaii Concordia, we bring you here in the eyes of our brotherhood, to question your past transgressions."
The figure in the pit remained silent, as did the remainder of the room. The figure at the high podium, identifiable as An Tiarna Dubh, continued to speak with no less intensity.
"You stand accused for treason, in your actions at [planet name redacted]. You disobeyed direct orders, mutinied the Dark Tide by taking your units, capturing a fortified location and repelled loyal forces, claiming it under your name. How do you plead?"
The figure looked up slowly. His hair was damp and matted, yet his eyes were vividly feral. His grin was wide, with sharpened canines to make it all the more unsettling - he spoke in a voice that was proud, echoing his bass chords over the cavern like room with each word.
"I plead that....I enjoyed every moment of it! You should have seen your face. An Tiarna, Ard Ri, can't keep control of his favorite attack dog."
The last words were filled with spite, and followed by the figure (Now Identified as Nexus) spitting on the ground at An Tiarna's feet. The Ard Ri stared with an unwavering glare for a moment, then suddenly one of the figures at the lower podium slammed his fist against the podium and shouted.
"You are a traitor to this brotherhood. You shed the blood of not only our men, but many of our brothers! You will answer for their absence today. I will see it done myself, your blood will grease the floors where you stand. Your name will be stricken from our charter and your memory will..."
The figure grew silent suddenly as An Tiarna raised a hand, cutting him off promptly, yet the hate filled words seemed to leave the room in an awkward silence. Lowering his hand, An Tiarna addressed Nexus once more.
"While you may have violated your honor, we shall not let your acts taint this Order. As such, I will not spill yours. And nor will you, Pyros,"
An Tiarna gazed in the direction of the man, then back at Nexus, showing a remarkable degree of calm, which was most unlike him.
"Instead, I shall imprison you for eternity. You will be cast in the darkest corner of the galaxy, forced to remain as an obscurity. Your legends shall be nullified as will your deeds. You shall be forgotten. Forever."
And with that, the figure stood. Nexus, whose eyes never left An Tiarna, even when Pyros broke the calm of the room, grew noticeably angered. His smile had turned into a scowl, and then a snarl. His shoulders lifted and fell heavily as his breathing grew heavy.
"You can't stop me, An Tiarna. Dason couldn't, Isis couldn't! I am the Dark Lord of Chaos and I WILL NOT BE BOUND BY ANYONE!"
His ending note went from an anger filled voice into rabid screaming. With that, he suddenly yanked at his chains, and for one brief moment, the room grew still, as though waiting for him to break free, but he didn't. His rebellion had been quelled as a guard came from behind, giving him a merciless strike in the back of the head, rendering him unconscious.
- Present Day -
The forgotten prison was on a large asteroid, which seemed to drift between the blackholes as though on an orbit. The asteroid itself was the size of 2 Executor Class Star Destroyers, which made the actual prison facility look small in comparison, yet the facility was quite large. Built with the objective of housing the prison of Darth Nexus, as well as with the capability to prevent someone from breaking in and freeing the warlord. Yet, many years had passed - and the once advanced droids that guarded the sith had become obsolete and in dire need of repair. But few remembered the name Darth Nexus, and as such, there was no need to travel to the most dangerous region of the galaxy outside of the Deep Core.
There he slept in silence, bound by sith rune lined chains, in an induced state of stasis. The Dark Lord slumbered - and yet, he would never know peace. His sentence was not a vacation, afterall, but a punishment. The sith sorcery that bound him also inflicted mental torture on Nexus, forcing him to relive his worst memories on repeat eternally.
Perhaps An Tiarna would have the last laugh.

Silence and intimacy shifted to bedlam as the Giant Boob quickly filled with those who sought to pay their respects. To the untrained eye, this bar was a disaster waiting to happen as Mandalorians, Sith, Jen'Jidai and Jedi alike filled the room. Yet there was no tension - this place had become a sacred ground, held with respect and reverence - here, past rivalries and fueds were bygone thoughts, as allegiances and vendettas were left at the door.
The Sith loomed in the room, looking upon many faces that he had not seen for decades. He saw both Reyn and Kaine - giving them a nod of respect, as distant but admired acquaintances. Then he saw Reign, Lahash, Hevn and Targus one who had been his brother in arms from a bygone era - one where Nexus was a notorious war monger with hot blood and an insatiable appetite for warfare. Finally he saw Adi - one who he had a strained relationship, where they would often find one another on opposing sides on the fields of War. To him, Nexus said nothing - he was slow to trust, and while The Dark Tide ended allying with Adi, Nexus was ever weary.
Seeing the specter of his uncle summoning him, Nexus made his way to the bar. Leaning against the bar, Nexus scanned the specter with his cold blue eyes for a few minutes before his lips curled into a sly smile.
"Glad to see your 'retirement' didn't stop you from saying farewell. How fares the abyss?"
Nexus set his bottle down on the bottle, summoning for a glass. Filling it with his noteworthy preference of spirits, often referred to as Wookie paint peeler, the sith brought the glass to his lips, taking a large drag before letting out a sigh as the burning sensation went through him. He turned to note each toast by raising a glass in honor of the fallen.

His presence was heralded by his footsteps - heavy clomping echoed through the entry way as the Lord of Chaos entered the room. His armor was more ornate than usual- half hidden under a thick black cloak which hung over his shoulders-, though his helmet remained the same - wrought from the bones of the fallen. Darth Nexus entered the boob in a somber demeanor - a silent silhouette in mourning- yet his footsteps echoed. Slow, steady, akin to a march.
As he passed the threshold, he held a single hand out - one that was quickly filled by a cup of Kashyykk fire brandy. The sith removed his helmet, showing scars and age that did not match the fluidity of his movements. He noted his blood in the room by way of a force ghost, giving 'Deadniquitous' a solemn nod, before taking a dreg from his cup, only to pour the remains on the threshold of the boob in memory of their lost friend. He muttered something in ancient sith tongue, it sounded deep and reflective, though he merely said "Save some cukes for the rest of us in the Afterlife"
With that, the sith made his way towards Lamia and Riddick, giving them a solemn bow.
"May his deeds never be forgotten."
The sith looked towards Riddick, offering a small box which was initially concealed in his cloak - he gestured for the boy to take it, before looking at Lamia.
"A gift, in honor of the fallen."

He felt him long before he neared; he knew the force signature well. It started as a spark, and slowly burned until it became a roaring inferno. Nexus couldn't help but let a coy grin play along his face. Looking over at one of the Togorian guards, he spoke out in a booming voice.
"Kaldros. Fetch my chest..."
The Togorian was startled by the request, but only for a fragment of a second before he saluted and disappeared. Nexus nodded with approval, cracking his neck bones by rolling his head and shoulders. That was when he heard the ornery voice of a long lost brother- no, uncle- in arms. His ice blue eyes shifted towards the shambling, blubbering, senile revenant of the former war chieftain of the Iron Fist.
"Uncle, I knew the force would prod your ass into watching this shit show."
He let out a low chuckle as the Togorian troop came back, accompanied by a second soldier- both carried a massive metal chest; judging by their face, it was clearly heavy. They huffed it across the graveyard, dropping it in front of the Dark Lord with a loud thunk. He gave them a nod as they returned to their posts.

*Gives Dominic a look and rattles a muzzle he has been saving for this moment* ;)
Also question for people: I have decided to kill of Nexus in this RP with a fight with a new character. Does anyone have input on the fight? Should I have Nexus armor up or be caught with his pants down? He is going to die either way so I want the more epic RP

Nexus felt the irritation radiate from the stranger that was Delvin. He was not surprised, though the man's patience was something that did surprise him. It was good- that meant he passed the first and second tests. First he proved that he was not foolish enough to challenge the older man on hallowed grounds, and second that he was patient. The last thing the dark lord had the tolerance for was a loose cannon; he used to be one until life humbled him, and he knew where that path led- it was not a place that he wanted to go with someone. He withdrew his conscience as he engaged Steffo, focusing on the jedi.Dead indeed, or it had been, up until now, now things had gotten interesting, he was quite content to play the Dark Lord's game for now and see where the line of conversation ran to, he also saw this as a chance to talk to someone and maybe even gain information."Some time indeed, This is my planet so to speak, my assignment is to watch over, protect and report back any signs of activity, up until now...." Steffo trailed off then gestured with his hand at Nexus and the youth."So I find it highly unlikely you were passing through, why after all these years come...." The Jedi once again gestured, only this time he encompassed all that was around them, the garden and the falling villa."...Here." Nexus resisted the urge to let out another bitter chuckle, instead turning his back to the duo. He took two steps closer to the sea, lifting his chin; the ocean air whipped his hair, which was loose, save for a small pony tail to keep his bangs out of his face. The stark silver strands seemed dull in the light- or perhaps it was simply more grey than silver now. He spoke out towards the sea, not taking his eyes from the horizon. Some would take it as disrespectful, but Nexus rarely maintained eye contact with anyone other than a good friend, or his next victim.
"You presume that I am here to take your planet? No, Steffo. Rest assured, I am not here to cause you or Manaan any undue trouble...I merely came here to pay my respects one final time." Nexus closed his eyes for a moment, allowing his mind's eye to see his surrounding without distraction. It was just as he had seen- the clouds were heavier than normal, and his skin felt clammy. Soon the boy would emerge, with eyes of fire and a heart of hate; he was familiar, and yet foreign. He was the reason Nexus had come, to face a fate that he had seen many years before. Opening his eyes, he spoke out in a hollowed voice that did not seem to belong to him."When you stand as the last, that is when you will fall. No brothers will be there to save you, no army to defend you. You will be alone, and that is why you will break; the hand that will fell you was once the hand that you held." He blinked, then turned to face Steffo and Delvin, looking at Steffo silently for a moment."I have come here to die..." And with that, he looked at Delvin with a smirk."So it seems any adventure with me will be unlikely- however, perhaps my killer may have what you seek" Nexus did not emit any sense of fear or forboding. He knew of his impending death for many years. It bestowed an odd sense of acceptance upon him. The only thing that soured his mood was the knowledge that he was the last of them. He gazed over the garden for a moment.

Delvin turned to look at Nexus. He took in the man's features. As Nexus opened himself to him, Delvin felt the anger, hatred, fear, agony, and pain. All were familiar to Delvin. Yet he lacked the experience of this man, and he knew it. He realized he must now choose his words very carefully. The bearing of Nexus marked him as a fearsome warrior. "I do not know. My name however, is Delvin Keets. I journeyed from my home planet of Korriban following my feelings. They brought me here to this place-" He paused and gestured to the memorial stone"And to this marker. I felt this man's passing. Yet I have no connection to him. Right now, I seek training, knowledge, and-" His eyes blazed with a sudden brightness."Adventure." The Dark Lord couldn't help but let a bitter, rancorous laugh slip through his thin lips. He slowly turned his head, locking cool blue eyes onto Delvin's."Adventure? Training? What galaxy are you from boy. You were born 20 years too late..." He probed the man with the force, and not in a delicate fashion- he wanted to rip away any potential deceptions. He delved into his mind, tearing through any barriers or wards. Who was this boy? Why did he come to Manaan, now of all times. Delvin would feel a sensation similar to a soldering iron pressing against his temple as the sith burrowed into his mind. After a few moments, the sensation disappeared as Nexus found all that he needed to know. He was quiet for several seconds, before looking to the sea.Without taking his eyes off of the boy, he spoke in a loud, booming voice."Steffo Rancis...it has been some time. What brings a jedi to a backwater like this dead world?" He turned his back to Devlin, locking eyes with the jedi. His stare was mesmerizing, yet not menacing so much as curious.

Two presences made themselves known; neither was the one that Nexus had felt moments before, yet both were still threats. He knew of the first, for it was of light and truth. A jedi- one he had crossed paths with many years before, in a time when war filled the galaxy. The other presence eluded at a familiarity, yet Nexus did not know of him personally.
The dark lord opened himself to the force, letting both feel him- assuming that the second man could sense the force. His emotions flooded the senses; agony, pain, hatred and even fear. It was overwhelming to most that were not accustomed to the sith, yet Nexus knew Steffo would understand- he was not here to fight, but to mourn. He noted the jedi's approach, he lifted his hand up to the honor guard with an open palm, a sign for them to leave the area. As the togorians left the area, Nexus turned to the figure at his side- he was a substantially younger man who bore familiar features.
"What brings you here, boy?"
His words were heavy; tired, but not angry. He spoke as an old man, not a young warrior, though only a fool would ignore the lengthy hilt of his saber which rested on his left hip.

The back hairs on Nexus' neck prickled. Someone familiar had come to Manaan, but it was someone he hadn't felt in a long time. Nexus tried to remember, but there was something different about the sensation- something had changed since Nexus had sensed them last. It was unsettling. The Dark Lord allowed his hand to brush against the hilt of his saber for reassurance.
For a moment he considered alerting An Tiarna's togorians, but he felt that he did not need it, or perhaps that it would not change anything. The dark lord slowly rose to his feet, turning to face the sole entrance to the grave yard.
He waited. The Honor guard would occasionally glance at him, but most knew that the Dark Lord was not one to allow disrespect to the dead to go unpunished.

There came a great ripple with the passing of Avidus; a pulse unsettled the sand and gravel of the grave yard, reaching the sea, causing the usually calm blue to turn foamy white and roil. The planet mourned the loss of another one of its children. The next few moments passed in a bone chilling silence, yet none were there to appreciate it. It was the calm before the storm.
That calm was broken by a behemoth of a man, who emerged from the shadows. Clad from head to toe in all black, naught could be seen of his face, save for ice blue eyes and a lock of stark, silver hair. The man walked from the shadows towards the patch of earth where Vic had turned to dust, his eyes never leaving the sea as he moved. Each step seemed to reverberate with some unsettling force- yet as he walked, there was no sound. The towering figure stopped where the water met the sand, slowly removing his hood to reveal his face. It was not easy on the eyes, for it was the face of a war lord; it appeared as though hewn from stone. He had a square jaw lined with white stubble and a strong jutting chin, which complemented a strong brow that seemed constantly furrowed.
Keeping his eyes on where Avidus sank into Manaan's embrace, he knelt down and placed one hand on the dust that was once the servant's body. A sense of loss gripped him. After a few moments the man stood up, casting his eyes to the epitaphs of his brothers in arms. Some were claimed by war, others by treason. He was all that was left of the once feared legion. He was the last of the warriors, forgotten in a time of peace. This was not his place; the galaxy had changed, long ago. He was a relic of the past- a darker time where war gripped the galaxy, and fear was so palpable that it beckoned the darkness into the light. He was a part of that darkness, and so was Avidus.
I am alone...
He spoke aloud, with none to hear him.
The force reverberated through him, unsettling the sand near by again, as the man sat in utter silence, with only the sound of lapping waves to accompany him.

Hey guys,
For those of you who don't know me, I am the notorious PG/GMer turned good guy, Nexus. I have practically been here since day one, and JvS is a huge part of my internet upbringing. I want to come back, but I have some concerns. I am hoping people are willing to sell me on returning.
I have heard that the community has become highly insular and xenophobic. Not pointing fingers, just saying what I have heard. Now I am a fan of spontaneous RP, which is why I like our site so much, with it being location based vs plot based boards. I hope that is not the case and I was also hoping people could speak to this. I am not so egotistical to presume that I need to be sold on the site, I just dont want to invest time in something that may not be what it was when I started.
Any questions? Comments? Thoughts? I literally bought a new computer just for this so dont let me down guys.

The normally ice cold blue eyes of the Dark Lord met with Morrigan's, yet rather than showing a fierce and terrifying power, they showed friendship and affection. She was family. His scarred lips curled into a wry smile as she took the drink. He downed his then let out a slow exhale and poured them more- only to find that the old man was one step ahead of them. Instead he poured himself and Morrigan a second, finishing his just before she addressed him.
"S fhada bho nach fhaca mi thu a Morrigan. I pity the circumstances that brought me here, yet it is good to see family..."
He cast a passing glance at the pyre, silent and unreadable for a moment, taking a long swig from his bottle, then back at Morrigan.
"How has the old man been treating you these years? I hear you have quite the reputation." Nexus smirked, knowing a fair bit of Morrigan's escapades.

Nexus nodded as An Tiarna barked, pulling a comm link from his belt- he muttered some orders in it, ending his command just in time to see An Tiarna's crazy ass doctor friend run into a world of hurt. Smirking slightly, he noted as one of the bar men brought him a bottle of his favorite drink, along with four glasses. With the absence of the strange smuggler-who-wasn't-actually-a-smuggler girl, Nexus reached up, pulling his helmet off of his face once more. Reaching up, he scratched his chin for a moment, then set the helmet down. Taking the tray from the bar man, he began to pour out drinks, looking at An Tiarna, then at Morrigan.
"I tried to get Iniquitous to acquire a taste for this, but it never suited him. Still, figured we could split it in his honor. Taken from Feral's finest stores. I present to you Gr'waal'kraaag'rrr (Nexus had mastered the grotesque wookiee pronunciation of the drink while he had a vacation home on Kashyyk, coincidentally built on the ashes of Feral's academy.) It's the finest, near 200 proof liquor in the galaxy. Burns like swallowing a sun, but feels like a goddess' holiest of holies on the tongue. Care to share?"
Nexus poured all glasses- with the full intent of them being finished, with or without company

Nexus watched An Tiarna, nodding in conjunction with his word. He knew the old man's thoughts, and knew his plan. It was just a matter of getting things lined up. He looked to the skies, wondering if any of their other brothers would return to them. to assist, but he did not depend on it. While they were kin and kith, and Nexus cared for them as family- he never put faith in another. If you want it done right, as they say...
From the corner of his eye, Nexus caught a glimpse of Morrigan, now a woman grown, and well grown at that. Nexus remembered when she was but a glimmer in her father's eye. Now she was heir apparent, and every bit as dangerous as one would expect the offspring of the Dubh family to be. She had always been an enigmatic child- a font of dark, forbidden power- Nexus respected that, and even offered to teach the child, yet never insistant enough to be obnoxious. She was, after all, a child of war; she learned naturally.
Seeing the child made Nexus look back to the older, simpler days; the traitor Isis, the defector, Danson, and the swift and merciless justice that they received- at his own hand. The smell of ozone and charred skin would occasionally wake him, a reminder of the cost of treachery.
He gave Morrigan a nod of acknowledgement, then looked back to An Tiarna.
"I may know someone for the job, unless you would rather keep it close to the chest."

The Dark Lord stood in silence, watching the catastrophy that was a relic being brought into the current times- that relic being An Tiarna. Nexus himself was mostly a relic himself, yet he saw the shifting tides and rolled with the times...for the most part. An Tiarna, however, was a man wrought of Iron and Stone, who did not weather, yet nor did he change very much.
The High King's antics were clearly off putting to those who did not know him. The girl was the case and point. Nexus smirked behind his mask as she claimed to hold a moral high ground- Manaan was not the place for that mind set. He looked at the old man, then at the bickering Togorians.
"Grab my private stock. The old man is going to need harder stuff to put up with the galaxy today."
Nexus set his eyes on the old man- whilst his expression was hidden by the helmet, his stance suggested some perverse combination of amusement and pity.
"Old man, times have changed. The best way to start a war these days is to poke the biggest, baddest, Rancor in the eye, and remind them that they are a cub compared to us."
Nexus was always the baby of the group, being one of the last to join and remain loyal. When An Tiarna met him in his youth, he was brash and violent- that made them fast enemies and faster friends. Yet now, the Dark Lord had the temperance of beskar; strong and unwavering. He was ready to help, and wasn't scared of the old man's temper.

The silence of Manaan space was broken once more- this time not by a singular vessel, but by a small fleet of allies. The Obsidian fleet broke through hyperspace and formed up around Manaan, hailing air control with pass codes. The reformatted fleet of the Dark Lord was often a harbinger of war, and this time was no different, however their war was not against Manaan. These were friends
